One of most picturesque valley and park I have ever seen. Lush green valley surrounded by snow peak hills and tall trees. Park is also well maintained. River bed inside the park is the most beautiful spot inside the park. Washrooms and few food stalls are inside the park. Entry fees was Rs 100 per person which is little bit on the higher side.

You will encounter many pony riders who will hound you to take a ride around some point. Honestly, you can just avoid the pony ride and walk through the woods and trees, alongside the stream and vast patch of green. The chill of the air, the fresh smell of trees, and the musk of wood are beyond articulation. You can sit peacefully on the wooden benches and enjoy some tranquility and peace time There are vendors who have fancy dressed goats who take a picture with you, although I found it a little sad to see them cruelly tilt the goats' legs just to get the right pose:(

A very very serene and beautiful place in Kashmir... very near to Pahalgam. The place is heavenly during all the seasons, I visited during Sep, and it was the best. The turquoise water, green landscapes, fresh air. A must visit place, and can spend a whole day here, just sit, relax, read a book 📖, eat... just enjoy...

Awesome place with great views of the valley. You could try pony in case you'd want to see waterfall which was not so great. The landscape is awesome of the mountains and the valley, clicks awesome pictures. Would definitely recommend this place, it's heaven during snowfall.

You need to travel good amount of distance to reach here. Its a small park arrangement and its not that great. Views are okay. One small restaurant serving average quality food. Entry fee is Rs 100 per person.

Betaab Valley is actually a park with valley and river inside. There is a 100rupee entry to the park. You can visit the park in pony or single trolley. There is even a children play area inside. Great place for a picnic. Also the river bed here is low on one side and hence you can soak the feets here. Some families were even bathing inside the river. The view is amazing here as well.

It's a beautiful place, though crowded mostly but a lovely place to visit with family and friends. Can go deep inside and there's a river flowing where you can chill with your team. It's primarily a scenic beauty so you can just sit and relax here, better would be if you take some food along with you. There are shops and vendors inside so you can buy from them as well. If the weather is good, then you'd have a lovely time here, when I went, it was quite 🔥.

Enough parking space but still os crowded. One can visit by taking own vehicle or easily hire cab from your hotel. Plus do prebooking of hotel when going to kashmir valley...it seems advisable

Like most of Kashmir, Betab ( gets its name from the shooting of the film of the same name) is amazingly beautiful. It was a little crowded with tourists and the local vendors and the photographers and guides do pester you a lot. If you can get past that...nature is at its best.

A very serene and scenic place to visit. The valley is full of snow while we visited in the month of February. You get so many amazing views and locations to get yourself clicked for a lifetime memory. Specially the people here are very sweet and supportive. But beware when it comes to negotiating for the guide and sledge, it is just beyond the boundaries. Do visit and have fun with your loved ones.

A beautiful valley but we were not satisfied seeing the children park and the other artificial things. Usually we love to enjoy the nature but sometimes places become full of artificial things that it losses its natural beauty. Though we enjoy the valley from a view point where we reach by hiking and one can go there on horseback. That place was really beautiful.

The best place in the touristy Kashmir circuit. We went in August and there was no snow but still this place is beautiful and charming. The river running close to this has clean water and adds to the beauty. The large plain area gives ample opportunity for picnics. We skipped the pony riding and enjoyed the valley. Overall a must visit place.

Its a beautiful place and the drive is also not that difficult. The parking is tight so if you are coming in your own car you may find it difficult to park. After parking you have to hire ponies to get to the main point. You can also explore the place on foot as its very open with a river flowing nearby.

Scenic view around the valley.. nothing much to do here. It's just walk through. You can go here just for the view and chilled weather. You can also trek here over the hills. Food joint available where u get basic food like Maggi, tea, coffee, biscuits and some local savouries.

So beautiful. Wish there was a proper distance calculation and time estimate given outside. Very easy to climb, looks much tougher than it is. Most people can easily imb it, and there is an even easier psth in the back from the garden. No need to take horses. Just wish there was a proper tourist information out front.

Beautiful valley with scenic views.. people even take horse ride to the valley which is bit inside.. But the views on the outer side is no less then heaven.. we hiked a lil and reached the top and saw this amazing view.

If going in the time of non snow better to avoid this place as there is absolutely nothing to see. We practically walked for 10-15 minutes too some photo for memories and walked away. There is a nearby shop which serves good Kawah tea. After seeing the beauty of Kashmir in many other places this place looked very ordinary to us. We travelled in October in a clear sky day. The only good thing probably the journey through mountain roads. There are three places they do as a tour - Go first to Aru valley to avoid disappointment.

Aru valley is around 45 minutes drive from pahalgam. The place is very beautiful. There is a large open park in the center surrounded by beautiful hills. Ponies are available if you want to climb up the hill or you can simply trek.

Aru Valley in Pahalgam is a tourist Attraction. Although there is nothing special to visit apart from majestic snowy mountain which looks like its just in front of you and a park for camping and spending a few hours. Its about 1 hour drive from Pahalgam Main Market. The road to this place is tricky one way road with very narrow sections at some places. Skillful driving is needed. There is NO entry fee for the park. Maintenance is low. You can get horses to visit the higher reach lakes in the mountains which are about 3 hours away. Good Place for taking pictures. Happy visiting. PS: Please don't litter the place.

Very beautiful and serene valley. Kashmir has many such beautiful valleys and mountains with breath taking views which easily put the place among top in the world. Little efforts from local authorities, people and government can easily develop such places into global tourism hotspots. Hope everyone concerned already looking into it.

The view of the valley and the mountains are exceptional. There was few spots to eat but its not recommended. Aru Valley is a must visit place.

The best place that we visited in Kashmir so far. Absolutely beautiful and relatively untouched. Mountains, meadows, Lidder River, and starting point to many lively treks. The road ends here. I would highly highly recommend this place for all nature lovers. If you want luxury probably you should stay at Pahalgam and take a day trip. We walked and walked; and enjoyed sitting next to the Lidder River. Watched horses, mules and cows grazing in the meadows. Loved the place and would surely go again.

Surrounded by snow tipped mountains, cool breeze 24/7, you’ll definitely wouldn’t wanna leave this place for sure. One of the must visit places for sure if you’re planning your Kashmir trip for sure!! Worth every second you spend here.

Lovely view point with good soft snow and relatively few people (went on weekday evening - around 3 PM). Had a good time. You don't need snow boots if you are not planning to go deep snow. Could not try Aru Valley Pony ride as we didn't have time. The place doesn't have too many activities which is a good thing, you can enjoy the point with minima disturbance from people selling you services like Gulmarg, Sonmarg etc

One of the Scenic Valley of Pahalgam. you can come across mesmerising views of Snow Capped Mountains, Mountain Streams and Green Meadows. The space for the visiting tourists is well barricated and made safe. No separate winter clothings needed here.

It's a beautiful 18 hole golf course situated amidst the mountain ranges. The clientele is low due to inaccessible nature of the course almost 6 months a year. The green fee for non members is Rs 800 and for other J & K golf club members. Pro shop is basic but gives you a full golf set on 'rent for Rs 500.

We spent only a day with Lone as we were only in Pahalgam for a day. The scenery is magnificent, and if you like to walk in the mountains this is the place to walk. It's stunning really. Lone our guide is a very experienced guide and very good at English, you should get in touch with him you will not go wrong, the mountains are his patch he knows them like the back of his hand. He has horses to carry luggage so you can enjoy the hike and he will sort out all food for you.

We, a family of 3, went for a day hike to Sudmargi in 3rd week of April 2023 with Shaban Lone. He drove us in his car from our hotel to the starting point of our trek, which lies on the Aru Valley route. He then gave each of us a sturdy trekking stick. It took us around a couple of hours to get to the top, taking the photos all along. We also stopped at points up the hill for a few minutes to mesmerise the breathtaking sceneries filled with the greenery, the valleys, the river, the streams, the white shining snow-capped mountains, the white fluffy clouds and a little bit of blue sky. At the peak, he served us hot, refreshing Kahwa. On our mid-way of descent, he provided us with delicious home-cooked food. The total trek time was around 5-6 hours and was of a moderate level of difficulty. The next day we had a short trek to Manipal with Shabhan’s son Asif. It was through Pine trees crossing the Lidder River and streams over the wooden bridge, a herd of sheep grazing in green meadows surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Both places are truly offbeat destinations, as we were the only people there, although it was the peak season. Nothing could have been better than that. Shabhan and Asif were very professional and friendly throughout the trek. They make you feel part of their family. I went for Surmarg valley trek recently. This was my first trek with them and this trek was very-very-very well organised, the views were awesome and I enjoyed the trek a lot. My trek guide Asif was very well aware of the routes , I was surprised with home made Kahwa and food which tasted so good. This was my best trek experience so far. I highly recommend this trek company to anyone who is looking for trekking in Kashmir.

Took the Surmarg trek in Pahalgam today organised by endless tours and travels. First of all this is a beautiful trek and will give you peace as you see meadows,Shephard huts,stream and snow too(it was still there). To reach the destination and see the view is breathtaking.Now the organisers,i have to say never saw such humble people.Shaban ji is so humble and communicate really well.Asif was our guie and he will make sure you are never bored or alone or scared.they have lot of knowledge and your trip will be enjoyable.We had taken lunch and i thank Asif's Ammi for such tasty food. The feeling is beyond words of eating and drinking Kahwa in the cold among the mountains. I highly recommend hiking with Shaban and Asif. Both are very kind and caring people who helped me with so much more than just a great hike. They are experienced locals and the camping experience was unforgettable. Comfortable sleeping arrangements with good quality sleeping mats, sleeping bags, hot water bottles and extra blankets. It's the first winter camping I've ever done where I was toasty warm all night. The dinner was also very special with 4 dishes to chose from cooked with love on the mountain side. Plus the small group size was really nice. And finally a major highlight was the bonfire which was a wonderful way to allow us to lay out under the stars and keep warm. Tulian lake itself was stunning and Shaban provided hiking sticks which made ascending and descending much more safe and stable. After returning from the hike I came down with a sickness and both Shaban and Asif helped with everything they could, including driving me to the doctors and collecting medicine. I can't thank them enough for their support.

Here, you guys listened to my every request and treated me like a princess. I was served a variety of dishes and selections by all of you. It was hard for me with local cuisine (masala, currry, etc); your daughter (15 years old) with a shining smile and told me "I have special food for you,", yeah, fried fish and grilled potatoes ;))) Miss you all!

Had a great experience from start to end. Shaban was very humble and the booking process was seamless. We did Surmarg Trek, beautiful view all around. Our Trek guide was Asif, he was very patient with us, clicked lot of nice pics. Special mention about the home cooked lunch that was carried, it was head and shoulders better than what I had imagined, both in terms of variety and taste. It was better than food offered by few of the 4 star hotels I have stayed in during my Kashmir trip.

Ibrahim bhai and Saaba from Magic mountain trek and tours are absolute gems! They have shown us Kashmir in the most beautiful way. The weather turned in a couple of places where we were supposed to go but they ensured our safety and decided to take us elsewhere which also turned out to be beautiful and ensured all arrangements for our stay were handled seamlessly and in a timely manner. We never had to worry about anything on our trip! The Kashmir Mountain Magic has given our team (8) best itinerary understanding our taste and choice. No words to describe the out of world locations we witnessed, the love and delicious food from people we met. Ibrahim and his team were not in a rush to make money and push us out. Our stays were in beautiful locations with views of snow capped mountains, greenery, river streams. Apart from regular Betab valley, Chandanwari and Horse ride to Shokargah near Pahalgam, a trek was organised to Ledderwat (17kms) with proper food and caretakers. Every inch of the trek was astonishing with snow capped mountains melting to river streams, lush green valleys, locals here and there grazing their cattle, relaxed at places with amazing views. The next base was Daksum J&K Tourism Dept cottages in a beautiful location, the hospitality was impressive. We accessed two snow points Sinthan Top and Margan Top in two days. Sinthan Top was completely covered with snow and you get to do some snow activities, other tourists also visit this place. The Magan Top (once called as the Death Valley when there were no roads) is completely out of place with no other tourists at the snow point, the breath taking views of snow and the Nan- Kun peaks is an experience unbelievable. Morgan top to beautiful Warwan Valley, relaxed at riverside and came back to Daksum. Riverside camping at Pahalgam and stargazing with luxurious food (Non Veg, Veg, Barbeque), Sonmarg, Srinagar, Dal Lake Shikara, Luxurious House Boat Stay, a little introduction to culture of people are few more highlights of the trip. Ibrahim and his team are perfect guides if one wants to explore the implausible beauty, the 'Paradise on earth'- Kashmir.

I was looking for an offbeat, non touristy Kashmir experience! How I got Ibrahim Bhaiyya’s contact is story for another day. I called him couple of times to check if it was okay for a solo traveller; what I could expect et al. Those conversations with him helped me muster courage and set out on this week long trip. Hospitality unfolded every moment right from the time I landed starting with a welcome call to a kind driver first taking me to a restaurant for lunch and then to Tulip garden before we headed to Pehalgam. At Pehalgam, Ibrahim Bhaiyya was kind enough to take me around himself. The following day we headed to Warwan Valley. Saba and Ibrahim Bhaiyya turned into my guardian angels for rest of the trip taking care of every little detail starting from optimal temperature for me to sleep to the exact taste of my Kahwa and to dairy free vegetarian diet in the remotest of places. Warwan Valley is a slice of heaven in simple words. Scenic beauty at its best and the most affectionate people. I run short of words to describe the way they opened their doors and hearts to me. After 5 days of exploring the surrounding villages and doing day hikes and taking in the nature as much as I could I was secretly wishing to be there for longer. I honestly had no heart to leave the place. And, weather Gods chose to answer my prayers by sending in snow and rains for 3 days continuously leading to landslides and avalanches blocking our way out. I was happy to extend my stay (except for reporting back to work part). Finally we trekked / hopped on horse back on our way back to get to a motorable road. That adventure was totally cherry on the cake! Whereever I travel, I leave a piece of my heart behind. But here, after 2 weeks, I have left my family n home behind and I’m surely going to return soon.

I am so grateful to have met some local acquaintances whom i now call "my friends from Kashmir ki Wadiyaan". A message that I would like to leave for my fellow travellers - Mountains, rivers, forests, oceans are sacred. Respect them, respect the local culture, do not litter and travel sustainably. We had an incredible 8 day trip to Kashmir. Mr Ibrahim made sure our family felt safe, well fed and saw some incredible beauty of nature. Everyone treated us with kindness and even welcomed us into their homes. The weather didn’t cooperate as we had hoped, but Ibrahim Sir made sure we made the most of it. One suggestion is that the roads were tricky to and around Warwan valley in the rain, and I wouldn’t suggest it with children if there is several days of continuous rain. If there isn’t rain, that tour (offbeat tour to Warwan Valley) will be great.

Very professional yet friendly. They arranged for our trek to Tarsar Marsar within a day. Neatly packed lunch, very warm and comfortable tent amidst minus temperature reduced our tiredness. We had customised ( non veg spicy food suitable to our taste and preference) food unlike other trek. Ibrahim bhai checked our clothes and gears before our journey and offered his gears. Gears, tent sleeping bag were new, high end and nicely maintained. Food is worth mentioning. Very nice dedicated team. We never had such a comfortable trek before. Last day at ladderbhat hot pakoras with nun chai and Matar mushroom and Rasgulla won our heart. Gulzar saab, our guide, and the whole team was friendly and very supportive. We stayed at their hotel Brown palace.. A very nice cosy beautiful wooden hotel.. The whole package is value for money.. It was awesome trek with leisure more than we imagine. I would like to thank Ibrahim bhai, gulzar saab umer and uzair for making this trip memorable. I highly recommend them.. And Kashmir is safe and beautiful..

We were fortunate to visit “Mammal Temple”, with a rich history dating back to the 12th century. Mamaleshwar is among the ancient temples in Kashmir. Set on the bank of River Lidder, Pahalgam, the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple encloses a plinth and a Shiva Lingam, with a sparkling water spring covered by a gorge. According to mythological legends associated with this temple, Lord Ganesha was appointed as its doorkeeper to prevent the entry of outsiders. This is how the temple got its name – comprising words 'mam mal' that means ‘do not go’.

Temple of utmost importance. Dates way back in BC. But is highly ignored. It is just a ruin now. Hope Government does something about this place and many more such places in Kashmir

Mamal Temple Mamal Temple also known as Mamleshwar Temple is an ancient temple located in Mamal. It dates back to 400AD and lies at a distance of about a mile from Pahalgam. It stands across the Kolahoi stream up towards the mountain side. Lord Shiva is the main deity worshipped in this ancient temple. The sacred complex also has a shrine that is entirely festooned with gold, and was put-up during the rule of a former king. Legends say that it was this blessed site where Lord Ganesha was kept as a door-guard to prevent anyone from getting inside. This is how the temple got its name – comprising words ‘mam mal’ that means ‘do not go’. Owing to its religious significance, the temple is visited by devotees throughout the year, especially during summers and holiday season.

Mamleshwar temple is One of the oldest temple of kashmir Valley built by the Hindu king Lalit Aditya(sorces said)...

Its a cool place about 25 kilometers from Pahalgam, The way from chandanwardi to sheeshnag almost 14 kilometers has no roads for vehicles, you can track or ride by horse, The track is beautiful and will show mesmerizing views to you.

The second pitstop on trek towards Amarnath cave. Sheshnag Lake is located in Anantnag district of Kashmir Valley in Jammu and Kashmir, India at an elevation of 3590 meters. It is situated on the track leading to the Amarnath cave, about 23 km from Pahalgam. Distance between Pissu top and Sheshnag lake is approximately 9 kms. The mountains are covered with snow and ice sheets which melt slowly so that water flows into the deep groove and forms a lake. The scene here is absolutely pristine and serene. Crystal clear wanted, calm and placid lake. Once at this place you can rent out tents to unwind after a treacherous trek. The tents are cozy and comfortable. You'll also have food and bath arrangements here.

The Sheshnag Lake can only be visited for a few months during the year, after which it freezes. Even during peak summers, the water of the lake generally remains cold enough to make a bath in its waters almost next to impossible. The difficult weather conditions and rough terrain of the lake keep it cut off from the rest of the world. This is the reason why it still remains less explored. Its waters are pure, and fresh. The surrounding environment is still clean and untouched by any form of human destruction. The lake has been in existence for the last many thousands of years, with no date of its origin mentioned anywhere. It is 250 feet deep and covers an area measuring 5 square miles. Reaching Sheshnag is a difficult task. The closest town is Chandanwadi. It is 55 km from Pahalgam. Regular buses ply from Pahalgam to Chandanwadi, and reaching this small village is not a problem. But, once you begin with your journey ahead to the lake, the going can get tricky and tough. There are no roads, and one has to either depend on ponies or trek to the lake top. Ponies are also available only during a brief time during the summer season, after which walking is the only option.

One of the sacred lakes in india The scenic surroundings of this holy lake consist of sprawling green pastures and snow laden mountain. It's said that the serpent dug this lake and made it his abode, where he still resides. Melted snow and mountainous streams feed Sheshnag lake. The beauty of Sheshnag lake is mesmerizing. 🕉️🇮🇳🕉️

Sheshnag Lake, Pahalgam, Jammu Kashmir Sheshnag Lake is located almost 17 kilometers from Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir at an altitude of 3,590 meters approx. The lake’s water is also considered to be of good quality. The trekking route towards Amarnath Cave it is extremely scenic and offers you breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain terrain & huge grassland terrain. The lake is associated with many mythological legends, one of which states that it belongs to Sheshnag, Lord of the Snakes himself.♥️

On visit to Amarnath Holy Cave we took the traditional route from Pahalgam - Chandanwari - Sheshnag - Panchtarni- Holy Cave. Trust me this is one of most scenic route. The beauty of Sheshnag lake is mesmerizing

A trek of 12 km from chandanwadi (vern. Chandanvoer) with a gradient of about 1000m will take you to one of the largest alpine lakes of kashmir. Trek is a bit difficult but once you get the first glimpse of the sparkling blue waters of the sheeshnag, all of that tiredness is gone at once. Surely one of the best places to visit. It would take you around 3.5 hours for the accent and around 3 hours for the descent.

It was a great trip with Travel with Shafi bhai. We had booked for 5N6D trip to Kashmir. It covered Srinagar, Pahalgam and Gulmarg. It was planned and we were also given enough time to stay at hotels everyday and take rest. The hotels booked were excellent with good food. We were also provided a sedan which was with us for the entire trip and our driver Mr. Javed was also a very kind and helpful person. He covered all the spots in time. I recommend Travel with Nature to book any further trips.

Thank you to Tarikh bhai and Shafi bhai for such an amazing experience in our Kashmir trip this October. Both Shafi bhai and Taarikh bhai are so humble and good natured that we felt like home in a new place. Taarikh bhai is gem of a person and very knowledgeable as well. With his discussions many of my concepts in physics, Chemisry and Bio got brushed up ( which had otherwise got in hibernation in our daily job). He explained really well about the history of all the places in Kashmir that we visited, and those beautiful places will be forever engraved in our mind.
