Visited Kehi Jungu Shrine on a snowy day.. The shrine is a major cultural site and one of the three major wooden torii gates in Japan (alongside Kasuga-Taisha in Nara and Itsukushima Jinja in Hiroshima).. and don’t forget the Longevity Water to pray for good health 😊

The shrine maidens do goshuin seals here. It was pretty busy on a weekend in May, there were people coming and leaving the shrine grounds. It was a bit difficult to take a nice picture without anybody entering the frame. Parking is to the left of the shrine just beyond the rental bicycle lot. The shrine is designated as an important cultural property; during the WW II bombings, only the Tori gate had survived.
