Spectacular scenery of Budva Old Town and marvelous caves. The beach can be a bit too crowded for our taste so ot was hard to walk among the sunbeds, towels and people. On Google Maps it shows you can descend from the main road but actually you need to go downtown near Budva Old Town to reach the sea shore. From there you can walk along the rocks but everything is nicely prepared for tourists. The views are really nice. It is a photographer’s dream, especially at sunset or when it is not crowded. The water is not as clean as expected but maybe because it is a sandy beach. It is worth visiting if you are in the area.

Nice hidden beach. The water was so clear even I can see the stone underneath when I swam. There are some kiosks where you can buy foods and beverages. This beach also has showering facility and also changing clothes box. The beach is rather sandy with smaller size peebles compare to other beach. You can also explore the other side of beach by walking through the small pathwalk between cliffs.

Nice place, however sun lounges pretty expensive, specially if you are only for couple of hours as they rent per day. No changing rooms or toilets either. A trail further leads to the cliff where you can jump too. Water activities on a way too. No parking near by. At least we couldn’t find, however it’s lovely walk.

I went there mostly for nights fotos of the sea and the coast, but at some point some guy came to me (clamed to be a security) and really brutali kicked me out about 1am. Crowded, Clean, Beautiful. As everyone is saying, this beach is very crowded but it did not take away from the experience. There is a lot of space to put your towels etc, and many areas in the shade too. The water is so clear! You can see the fish even without goggles. The most fun I’ve had at a beach ever and it felt safe too- didn’t feel the need to pay €30 for a basic sun bed to have extra security of my belongings. The walk to the beach is beautiful too, many areas to take photos and admire the scenery.

You will pay 20 euros for two chairs and one umbrella which is heap comparing to other places. It has wifi and the quality of the place is good. Food in the restaurant is great, all freshly made. The waiter are not so good, but just ignore their poor service and all is going to be good.

There are a lot of stories behind the meaning of the ballerina statue in Budva, no one knows the true reason. For me, honestly, it looks like a bad copy of the famous Little Mermaid in Copenhagen. The ballerina is one of the most popular monuments in Budva.

You must learn the story of the statue.

Sadly, the path to get to her was closed for danger of landslides, so you could only glimpse the status from far away and couldn’t walk the lovely path to the beach alongside it. Anticlimactic let down :/

Having in mind that most beaches near Kotor are either private or crazy crowded, this one was quite good. Sandy beach, shallow coast. Many free parking spaces nearby. Quite big area at the end of the beach for those who don't want to pay for sunbeds.

Fun beach to spend the day at! We came here at around 1pm and found parking straight away, there is quite alot of parking spots available. Along the beach there are multiple restaurants for food and drinks. Our beds were €15 for 2 and an umbrella. Some places offer a bigger umbrella for €20. We could also order drink’s directly from our sun-bed when the staff came buy to collect empty drinks. There are showers around the beach but water flow isnt very strong so only suitable for a quick rinse. We were located at the end of the beach and it was a sandy beach but still quite clear water as i could see my legs underwater.

Great beach for everybody. Kinda the nicest we found in montenegro,close to stevan stefan thay were our hotel. Not sandy,but small rocks. Clean water and nowhere loud music. You need a taxi or boat ride to reach the beach. Taxi costs around 20€ from the city center. The prices are 9€ for cocktails. I enjoyed the party in the pool! The beach was clean and personnel was friendly. I returned to old town by boat and it cost 5€ for each person.

It's a very good place. It's crowded but not annoying and quite picturesque. You should rent an umbrella and a sunbed there, no space for towels to chill on, you're not allowed to bring your food. But this beach is muuuuch better than the main beach in Budva. I recommend visiting it.

It’s definitely an interesting place to visits. If you are staying in Budva, it’s just 15-20 min drive by taxi. When you arrive there there will be a girl, who will help you and guide you to the place which you want to visit. Definitely go for a party in the pool (not sure what the proper name is). It has super cool look (see the picture attached): umbrellas in the pool and the dancing music! I wish it could be more adjusted to foreigners, as 80% was only the local music playing. If you want to get the pair of sun-beds, - it’s 20 euros. If you want to go to vip second floor - 120 with a large bed and a bottle of champagne. We didn’t eat anything in the restaurant, as we read lots of unpleasant reviews, that’s why it’s difficult to judge.

Loved this beach. There are a lot of sun beds with with umbrellas (10€ for 2 sunbeds+umbrella). The beach is on the stones. The cocktail bar is fun. Drinks from 6 to 9 euro (strong one). People dance, drink and have fun. They have a restaurant, the food was good, especially vongoles. We took stand up paddle - 5€ / 30 minutes. Parking free available.

A really good experience. Considering all discussions about prices increase of this season we had a great surprise: 2 sunbeds + umbrella = 10 €. The place is very big (maybe too big...) and you can have mostly anything you wish while visiting a beach. Good restaurant with reasonable prices and very good service (finally someone who smiles), a great place for a cocktail (inside a pool), sport activities, beautiful sea (not the best to be sincere). The beach is reachable also by boat taxi from Budva. Surely a place to visit.

BEWARE POOL PARTY OVERCHARGING. We spent a lovely day at Ploce beach and joined the pool party. We were over charged for drink on 3 occasions for the same drink. I spoke to the manager who offered a complimentary drink ………… for the next day. First overcharge by our waiter was €25 the second overcharge by the waiter was €10 and after we complained to the manageress he overcharged us again.

Great beach!!! Tourists and locals has been using this awesome beach more than 17 yrs... Construction has started in 2004 and it is still upgrading  and expanding... This beach is great for all, families with younger or older children, teenagers, couples... Everything for everybody... The cleanest dark blue water on the open sea... Beach itself has got swimming pools with sea water and parts where you have normal entry into the water... Number 1 thing on ths beach is swimming pool with bar tables and chairs for daily or nightly foam parties....and DJs for warming up the summer.... Parking lot is free of charge... Beach set( sun beds & umbrellas) cost 10€... In beach cafe prices are really reasonable considering summer, snack food is also with reasonable prices, burgers are 3€ and pizza slices are 2€... You also have a restaurant if you want to have more expensive meal with various sea food ...

I think the water park is a good idea but the ticket to come in is in my eyes very overpriced. We were four so it was around 100Euros. Plus you cannot take drinks and food with you because you should go and buy some overpriced food. It's a cool water park with quite some amount of slides but I think there are to high prices. I mean, you pay adult price for a 8 year old child that's over 130cm. I don't think its worth more then once

1. The toilets are dirty and many of them unfunctional 2. They ask TWICE more money if you arent local! I went there with my ex last year who was Montenegrian, he asked for 2 tickets in their language and we payed much less than other people in front of us who spoke english/ werent local. (each of us payed 9€, but for foreigners it is 25€) 3. Waterslides are very dangerous. why? Because of the way how the parts of waterslides are connected. Each place where it connects ( approx every 1meter) hurts your body because it is very sharp. We left with many scratches, especially on the back but also on the hands. 4. One PLUS is that there were really few people that I have never experienced in any other water park *edit : Photo is just illustrational, it is not the photo from budva aquapark. It should serve as an example of what I meant by waterslide connecting parts.

We went to here in 2017 for the first time, there was so many people and all the slides were working, now in 2023 half the slides are not working. In just three years this place has been badly damaged by lack of maintenance: moldy walls, the pool smells very strongly of garbage (looks like they didn't take it out of the bar, which is also out of service). All in all it looks really sad :(

Aquapark Budva has all the visual appeal of a soviet-era nuclear power station, and a similar regard for health & safety (although the "no handguns" signs will doubtless be reassuring). Perhaps, given the mountainside location and the smattering of greenery (largely the result of neglect), a more apt comparison would be the disguised roof of a super-villain's lair. At any moment the pool might retract, revealing a huge missile destined to kick-start World War III... The best thing about Aquapark Budva is simply how unpopular it is. Anticipating stiff competition for sunbeds and shade, we ordered an early taxi to arrive in time for opening at 11am, but were delayed by traffic. We needn't have worried. By 1pm numbers had swelled to perhaps 50 or 60 spread across the 3 concrete tiers of attractions. Consequently the children had one of the best waterpark experiences anywhere, hardly queuing for anything. Their only complaint was of burning feet - probably due to a combination of roasting-hot concrete tiles and the depleted uranium core buried deep in that missile silo beneath. I would cautiously recommend a visit if its all about the slides for your kids. If you're of a nervous disposition or a stickler for things like "lifeguards" or "maintenance" you might find it a little stressful. Oh, one little tip - prices are advertised for Adults and Children but you will actually pay based on height with all but the very littlest paying full whack. Enjoy. And good luck.

Couple sides with enjoying lifeguards and their whistles. Well overrated and out of date. Not much positives to add. Just ok for kids. Personnel speak very little English and will not be helpful at any time. Poor hygiene Ilin the premises and toilets. Food in the local bistro is a typical fast food but be prepared to wait 20-30minutes for portion of chips in the busy period.

Cool aquapark with a lot of toboggans :-) included in admission. Food and drink service in local shop is sufficient. Several pools with different temperatute so everyone will choose your own. Upper pool with waves is closed (07/2022). Sunbeds with umbrellas are also available for free.

Might have been a lovely beach to chill and swim, unfortunately our experience was ruined by dirty sea ( plastic bags, plastic bottles and all sort of rubbish), even when we found cleaner part to swim it felt like swimming in the bin. Water so clear but had some floating garbage here and there. The sea bottom had very dirty rocks, probably from all the boats and jet skis in the area. I didn't like that jet skis were allowed to come so close to the swimming area, created unnecessary noise and waves. There is no on beach service from the bars but lots of seating areas at the restaurant. (separate review on that) Change rooms are gross and smell like piss. Didn't see where the bathrooms were. Nothing is clearly marked. It's a nice walk to and from the beach along the shore and through a neat man-made tunnel. Phenomenal sunsets can be found here. Mid September still had a full beach. All beds were taken.

The beach is nice but completely taken over by private owners. It's a shame the government can allow such a takeover of public property. Even at night when no one is around security guards don't allow anyone to be on the beach in front of the sunbed. They ask you to leave.

If you are looking for a great beach with parking place in a shade, Kamenovo is very good option. Water is clean, light blue colour. Beach has everything: bar with food, showers, changing cabins, beach beds for rent... Easy to recommend, nothing to dislike.

Like everywhere in Montenegro half of the beach is private and half is for the people. Water is chilling and very clean and clear. Good choice of food in the cafe and restaurant. So actually nice place to spend the whole day on the beach till the sunset.

My husband and I visited the beach on Sunday afternoon, which is a day that a lot of locals spend their day there. Yet, it was perfectly okay to find a spot to place our towels and be close to the sea. It was very beautiful, pebbly beach. As most of the beaches around Budva, there is a free zone and a paid one with umbrellas and sunbeds. Here I thought the zones were equal in size. The water was clean, as was the beach. There was a party at bar, in front of the paid zone, but the music was not too loud.

The old town of Budva has the Orthodox and Catholic churches almost next to each other. This one is Roman Catholic.The main altar fresco is very interesting and not usual for this architecture.

This is a centuries old basilica with a landmark bell tower illuminated at night. The alter has a striking glass mosaic that is different from frescos commonly seen in similar churches. The church is not ornate but displays a peaceful simplicity and beauty. It is a small church which is worth visiting. The entry is free of charge.

Went there with family in mid-August. Beautiful nature, however, the beach and surroundings are poorly managed. There are a lot of cigarette buts on the beach and rubbish around. Sunbeds and umbrellas are charged 15€ p/day, but there are too many of them and no space for anything else on the beach. No ashtrays and no little side tables, which are usually part of the "beach set" on all other beaches. This was beautifully spot in the past, but I would avoid it in season...

Water is nice, but coast is not. Water is not deep so it can be interesting for kids. This photos are made at the end of september, early in morning, later was more people, so probbably it is full of people when is season.

Parking is wide and free. Beach is sand but shower not work last time when we were here. It was crowded and you can not enter in water normal beacuse of to many people. On the other hand this is great for kids beacuse of sand. There is restaurant and beach bar. Also you can buy ice cream. First raw you need to pay 18eur and Im not sure price for rest.

The Church of the Holy Trinity is the "youngest" of all the existing temples of Budva. The history of the construction of the church begins at the end of the XVIII century - it was then that the first ideas about its construction appear. In 1797, permission was received by the city authorities from the Montenegrin Vladyka Peter the Great for the realization of this idea. The construction was built thanks to the efforts of Orthodox believers for 6 years - from 1798 to 1804. Only downside is the gift shop inside and the seeming need for money.

Holy Trinity Church is a small Orthodox Church with exquisitely decorated alter as well as the walls and ceiling. It feels tiny inside and very private yet peaceful and elevating. It is free of charge but pictures are not allowed inside. A visit is worth the time but should be quick.

One toilet with 2 cubicles -m and f. The airport does not meet the needs of modern transportation facity, especially during busy times

We got there a bit late and it was very quiet, it is a regular monastery and not particularly equipped to welcome tourists. However it was very peaceful.

A place worth visiting if one seeks historical knowledge of kotor, maritime history and rulers of dubrovnik republic and its inhabitants. An audio guide was provided which made the experience even better, the receptionist was very welcoming and charged me ticket with student discount and i was able to experience the whole museum for 2€ only, despite the fact that i am student in my home country not in montenegro, they charged me 2€ only whereas normal tourist ticket was for 8€, making it encouraging for students to attend the museum and remember the history, highly appreciate their service and effort to keep the museum in such good condition.

Well worth the 5€ price for entry. Covers the maritime history of Kotor and it's relationship to world seafaring. Get the audio guide, it helps to make sure you don't miss anything.

I love visiting maritime museums when I travel and this one is very good. Be sure to get the audio tour gadget (no extra cost). The audio tour is easy to use and the explanations are just right. (Some audio guides are too long and detailed.) They really have an excellent collection of items here.

All the info about naval history of the bay could be found. It's rich in artefacts as well. Audio guide is available and included in price of ticket. It'll be helpful.

Really enjoyed the visit. Nice themes theoughout the musuem and some well preserved clothes and other items such ad weapons. Some nice maps and artworks as well. Not a huge museum, but can spend an hour to two hours wandering about in it.

Horrible place completely unfriendly like the whole city and the whole country who sold itself to tourism above their own pride. People are rude and unfriendly and many of them racists ! Montenegro has a long way ahead towards decency. Avoid and go other country better...

I visited this museum three times and I really loved it every time. It gives you the perspective of the maritime life of Kotor as well as history and art. It is placed in the very centre of the old town in a beautiful palace Grgurina from the 18th century.

Nice museum but hard to find open in the winter sometimes. I think it's a must go place in order to learn about the history of the Kotor. The town's history is mostly related to seas therefore the museum is a maritime museum but also has some other stuff like older Kotor paintings, old ethnic clothes and furniture etc. Entrance was around 4 5 € and the electronic guide is included which was quite nice.

Nice little museum. It is of interest to both maritime fanatics and architecture/palace buffs as its the only palace in the city which you can visit (all others in the map are private). Entrance is €4. There are 2 main levels with interesting items and can take from 45mins to 1 hr for those who are interested. Worth a visti if tou have the time andseeing old furniture as well.
