Loved this place despite the rope bridge being closed.... A lovely scenic walk. Took us 30min to get there from the car park with kids. There are rest rooms next to the car park which was handy. It's a 20 min drive to giants causeway, so a lot to do around.

This was our first and most wonderful experience in Northern Ireland. The walk from the car park to the bridge was not only easy but also incredibly beautiful. Crossing the rope bridge was a pleasant experience, offering breathtaking views of the other side. Parking is free, but you'll need to purchase tickets to cross the bridge, which is safe for anyone to walk. Restrooms are available at the car park, and you'll also find an ice cream and cafe. We visited on a sunny day and enjoyed ice cream upon our return.

This one will bring out the wobbly knees in the best of us! A great car park, I believe free if you have booked ahead. A 15 minute gentle walk followed by a steep stepped decent to the bridge itself. It's all very exciting, however, not much to do on the other side - 10 minutes will have it done and dusted. Great views back to the cliffs, though, and keep an eye out for puffins.

The bridge was locked at the moment, but the walk up there was still lovely, as well the view!! I recommend to stop here. For free parking or when parking near the bridge is closed, there is a free parking spot a bit higher on the hill for approximately 20 cars.

I have heard stories and I experienced it myself back in 2017 but this place often closes. I guess it opened up last Monday. Absolutely beautiful area and a simple 20-30 min walk. My grandma did it without issues. The bathrooms were really clean and the staff was friendly. Water was blue and colorful but the sun was out. You'll need to pay ahead of time online. Just makes it easier and quicker. I paid right at the entrance before I parked. The staff was right there with a QR code for wifi.

It's very beautiful but another tourist trap and hotspot. You can walk up to the bridge but it's £15 per adult to cross it. The views on the little island across the bridge aren't amazing. Don't get me wrong it's very nice but it's not worth crossing just to see. Overall it's very nice but a ripoff

The way to the bridge is rather steep (lots of rough stone steps!), so make sure to wear proper shoes (no flip flops), but the landscape is really beautiful: great cliffs, clear water, great views. The bridge itself is wobbly (as can be expected), but perfectly safe. Especially nice on a sunny day. Booking definitely recommend, the car park gets very crowded.

We actually backtracked to be able to make this stop. Originally we were going to go right after Giants Causeway but left there too late. The next day we actually drove back to be able to check this bridge out. There were very few people there on a weekday morning, and we actually had the bridge and viewpoint to ourselves for awhile. Bonus points that they filmed some of Game of Thrones here. It was overcast and windy the day we went but so beautiful.

One of the best place to visit in Northern Ireland. Eccentric view from the cliff and the bridge is really spectacular. We need to buy tickets to enter the place. We can either buy it online or can buy it when you reach there. Online will be preferable as we would get to know the timings and status of the open/closure of the bridge. Incredible experience. Must see attraction when you travel among NI. Tickets can be taken right here without online booking, whatever you like. But it is worth it to walk through the rope bridge on to the island. I felt an incredible joy and excitement!)) Climbed some rocks. But, please, be careful when you jump over the rocks) this can be tricky)) Or you can just find a vista point, open your Thermos with tea, and relax for a while. This part of Northern Ireland has astonishing landscapes.

Impressive view of the NI countryside and walk across rope bridge to an island full of wild seabirds. Note. Towards the end of the walk is a reasonably steep set of steps to the bridge. Not suitable for infirm folks or those in wheelchairs. The bridge itself also has steep metal access steps and queues can take time to get onto and off the island. The ground is quite uneven and rocky on the other side.

Best to book ticket in advance or you won't be allowed in on a busy day. We had showers n sunshine but still an amazing experience. Don't miss two quarries there, massive kiln, crusher and landing space for rocks on the nearby tiny island. Its much more than just a rope bridge. Nice coffee place, clean toilets.

It was a truly amazing experience. The bridge is a rope bridge spanning some 20 metres across a chasm between two rocks.The walk to the rope bridge is fairly easy, taking approximately 30 minutes one way, and the scenery along the way is stunning. Once you reach the bridge, it is an incredible experience. The bridge is a bit wobbly and a bit scary, but it is totally safe and you can enjoy the view from the bridge. A must of the “1, 2, 3, 4” of Northern Ireland: Derry, Giants Causeway, Dark Hedges and this bridge. Free parking, free walk down, free toilets too! It takes a good 1:15 hours to get there and back and across the bridge. Bridge is 15 pounds to cross and tickets are at the hut at the start of the trail. It’s a short and fun walk with beautiful views. Once at the bridge you may have a line, since it’s one way. The bridge moves a lot in the with and is a nice challenge, just use two hands. The bridge is high, and definitely worth the walk. End the stay with amazing ice cream at the shop, perfect for after the walk.

COOL, BUT SCARY WHEN WET & WINDY! Parked at the National Trust Car Park, everyone there is super friendly and will direct you on your way. When you get to the bridge, they check your tickets and you walk across. It's a lot more stable and wider than you think and the island you go to offers nice views around. The bridge WILL close due to bad weather or high winds, and I think they closed it immediately after I came back across because it was getting to be gale force and wet out there. Be sure to stop off at the coffee shop for a hot drink and free WiFi, because there's no signal out there. Worth doing, but go on a nice day to have the best experience.

Such a surreal experience! Visited the rope bridge in December when on a solo road trip in NI. It was a moderately windy day and you could feel the wind when on the bridge. Sadly most of the island was roped off for safety reasons and the path to the fishermen's hut too :( The staff were very friendly :) Would recommend booking tickets in advance or paying by cash or card as phone service is very poor for NFC. A really cool site that is well worth the visit if in the area. It is about a 15 minute walk from the carpark and the bridge is a classic rope bridge which can be quite bouncy. If you have a fear of heights this is probably not a good place to visit as the hand-rope on the bridge is quite low for tall people.

Stayed overnight in Ballintoy and enjoyed it immensely. We stayed in a private Airbnb room right beside the Carrick-a-rede bar and right opposite the Fullerton Arms. We took a walk to the harbour and although a sea mist had swept in, it was still beautiful. Will definitely make a return visit because one night wasn't enough!

Stunning harbour and also the set of pike and iron islands from game of thrones. It has two car parks and a cafe that was closed when we were there which was midday on a week day. The views were stunning and on a average day you can see the scottish islands in the distance without too much effort. There are some interesting caves in the cliffs beside the carpark. One is shallow but the other goes back some distance. Bring a flashlight as it is deeper than expected.

If you’re into rock formations, then come to this harbour. If you love sea birds, then you must visit. There are so many kinds of rocks, including giant flint rocks; some of them having edges so sharp you could almost shave with them. If you keep left and walk further after using the provided climb hole over the farmer’s fence; then you will come across some very unique standalone rocks that you’ll probably not find anywhere else. Must not be missed.

Every aspect of this was awesome. The natural environment in which it is set is simply stunning, and for me that was an amazing starting point, seeing parts that others don't. The Guide was top notch, really friendly, professional and yet funny and personable. The equipment provided was great quality, the wetsuits never let you feel the cold of the water one bit! The experience has to be done to describe. If you like to push yourself slightly outside your comfort zone in spectacular surroundings then this is for you.

Secluded bay with a long, dune-backed beach, home to butterflies, seabirds, otters & orchids.

Beautiful beach with stunning scenery from the walk down to the beach. Beach is clean ....not very much litter and as we met beach cleaning volunteers heading down, this is probably why. Thanks to those taking time to look after this beauty spot. It's just a pity that this is even necessary. Please take your litter home

A beautiful long and wide beach that is a SSI. No surfing or bathing means that it is more tranquil than might be expected. At this time of year there is an abundance of wild flowers including primroses, anemones and violets. Wild rabbits graze in the dunes and the beach has much to engage those who love searching for interesting examples of the local geology. Free parking and a decent coffee cabin that serves some gluten free food are a moderate walk from the beach.

White Park Bay is a bay and three-mile long stretch of golden sand beach, located near the town of Ballycastle on the north coast of Northern Ireland, situated near the famous landmark of Giant’s Causeway. Fantastic place to relax on a weekend afternoon. It's a very quiet spot, with a few or no people visiting the place even on a busy weekend. Highly recommended, if you enjoy the seaside, with rocky cliffs and breath taking views over the Atlantic.

Beautiful stretch of beach with soft golden sands. However, if swimming is your thing this is not the place for you as the bay has powerful riptides. If you are lucky you may be here when the 'beach dwelling' cows that help protect the fauna on the dunes are. Be warned there is a steep climb down to the beach and subsequently back up. Very limited parking for such a big beach.

Absolutely stunning beach, definitely recommend - you need to walk right down on to the beach to appreciate it as the view from the top doesn't do it justice. Carpark is small but I went later in the day so was able to get parked easy enough but on a busy day it might be difficult. Would recommend a million percent 🤩
