Overall a good experience, some areas had more for toddlers to do than other areas, our little guy loved the airport and the observation tower. We missed the only showing in the main theater, it would have been nice to have two showings during the day. Food was good, nothing great, but the price was good unlike some other parks where they really try to gouge you. Still, lots of items unavailable (soft serve ice cream). The park is really showing it’s age, it must be quite hard to keep it up in such a harsh environment but overall still looking god.

100% experience for children! From the moment you enter, you will be greeted by huge play structures and Lego play areas in the lobby, and on its side, a little stage where the awesome crew and Lego characters will host (very well-received) performances for children multiple times a day. It is a whole experience built around children, and they know it. The child-sized sinks and toilets, multiple play corners everywhere, disco lights in the lift that make all of them dance, performances, thickly carpeted floors throughout the hotel, play-themed hotel rooms with decorations built from Lego and an extensive Junior menu, all of which make them feel so welcome and know that this is a place for them. (Special shout-out to the leftmost dancer / crew member in the photo here, we saw him working hard in the day building structures with kids, and conducting multiple dance performances throughout the day until late at night. Each time he danced with a lot of enthusiasm with many details added to his dancing, kudos to him!) The theme parks themselves are quite big too, with lots of things to do for kids of various ages (although do see the height restrictions guide on the website). We got a combo ticket for three parks across two days. While our child was only 96cm tall, there were still so many things to do and see in both the main theme park and water park, that we could not even finish both and had to skip Sea Life (smallest park). Miniland in particular was really great too, with so much detail in each sculpture. Do check the website for attractions that are undergoing renovations or remodeling!

Went to all the attractions, both theme park and waterpark. Food tastes good in the theme park. I had a really great time even though I was travelling with all my toddlers. Super family friendly. The hotel staff; special mention to Suzie from Bricks and Lynn from entertainment. They were really excellent with their service! But the toilet cleanliness could be better. Hence, the four stars. Nevertheless, it's a super family-friendly hotel resort. There is nothing comparable, hands down.

We enjoyed this place very much. The LEGO structures of different countries’ popular tourist destinations were well done and are stunningly amazing! We enjoyed the rides and the interactive shows/games. Well worth the price tickets. A bonding time we treasure as a family. When I find more photos, I will upload them here.

My third time visiting; the last being in 2017. Well-maintained with physical improvements. They have also expanded the area with more rides/attractions. Unfortunately, we were not able to cover the entire theme park due to intermittent rain in the afternoon (rides closed). Overall a great destination for family fun.

Spend the whole day at the theme park but still wish we had plenty more time to try all the rides. Some rides queue are quite long(more than 30 minutes) some not so much. Highly recommended! For those who come with small children turn right first since more kids friendly games are there. Make sure you drink a lot of water since the park is very big.

The rooms are pricey but worth enjoying for 1 night. There is puzzle to solve which opens a chest containing Lego free gift. There are separate beds for adults and bunk bed for kids. The breakfast spread was amazing though they give 45 minutes and time slots to manage the heavy rush. The theme park is good but expensive with tickets costing 249 and 199 MYR for adult and kid respectively.

A regular visitor here for last 10 years (now it’s like our hometown) especially when you have growing kids even though it takes a 3.5 to 4 hours drive from KL. If you have growing kids and wish to be a regular, purchasing the annual passes is more worthy than day entry tickets. As normal theme park rules, no outside food or drinks allowed. They will check your bags. Food and drinks sold inside is definitely costly than outside. Well, it’s a commercial business that needs to survive. A place kids enjoyed spending their time rather than being on gadgets. Suggest to visit middle of the month on weekend, non-school holidays and weekday.

There are some rides that are more tame and slow for younger kids and there are also some that are more suitable for older kids and adults. The food options were pretty good. Expensive compared to other Malaysian restaurants, but cheaper than Universal or Disneyland. The park isn’t too big, so it’s all rides are within walking distance. We went midweek, so there was barely any wait time for most of the rides. Overall, it was a great experience and we will be definitely be visiting again when we come back to Johor.

Suitable place for children to learn soft skill while playing the games... for 1 day pass it is almost impossible to finish all games here. But just like me and my family, we go for annual pass and i believe more than 10 times we had come here since. Enjoyable and good for your leg workout... ha³

Everything was awesome for the kids. Family-friendly theme park. All rides were open and no queue when we visited on weekdays. You need at least 2 days to explore all the rides. It's worthed if you have kids from 2-12 years old. The toilet was clean and the staff was kind.

It was crowded due to public holiday in Malaysia and Singapore. The waiting time for the rides ranging from min. 20min to 50min. Fun for the kids, however some of the displays were quite rundown. Nevertheless still worth the visit!

It’s my first time ever visiting a Legoland. It was a wonderful experience although it was a rainy day. I am absolutely a Lego lover and I brought kids aged 3 and 5 there. It was a pity my 3yo boy couldn’t ride many of the rides there but he enjoyed seeing the miniature world, driving the junior cars, boat, and train. My 5yo also took other rides which he enjoyed. There was very little wait (nearly no waiting) on the day we visited. (It was a Thursday.) It’s not a big park but totally enough attractions for a family like ours to spend a whole day there. It’s a pity that the miniature world is a bit too old and many little details I believe there was are no longer functioning (and all white bricks are now tan colored ). But one area is renovating, hopefully they will renew the area soon. I’m sure I will revisit this park with my children if I come again to Singapore+Malaysia. Staff are also very friendly and helpful.

We got lucky to upgrade our theme park day pass to an annual pass for free. 1 day is not enough for the theme park. The Water park is way too hot, you need to wear UV swimwear and lots of UV protection cream. Overall experience is good for children. They're already happy even just staying at the hotel and just doing the Lego bricks. Need to plan if you are not local as there are timings and days when the parks are closed. Also, if your child is shorter than 106 cm, better to postpone as a lot of rides require height to be at least 106 cm.

5/5! Excellent park! All rides open! It’s not boring to go there as an adult! I love the racing coaster and the dragon! ☺️ full fay spent! Recommend to go separate days with the water park! So you have a whole day to explore. The water log flume ride should be taken as last ride as it’ll really soak you up. The machine driers don’t really work so ya 🤣 the tower ride can be taken during sunset for a superb view of the whole area! Good day for kids and adults alike! Fun there, food was good too! Ate at the kings grill. The sauce was yummy!

Best place for kids. My whole family had fun. Unfortunately my last boy had an eye infection after wet while playing dino island. It wets passengers too seriously. Probably need some adjustment. By the way overall experience is good, probably will visit again.

Around 2 or 3 big stations is closed for maintenance. Services quite slow even queue is long. And if you listen only sound of staff like Woo Hooo!, or Welcome back and hope you are enjoy! You can feel like here is a funny place but it so different with staff face being. Good place but only one time in your life is enough.

It's beautiful and entertaining for the kids. There are a variety of options to thrill the kids - sea aquarium, rides, toy train, water park, puppet show etc Quite a happy place too for the adults. Nice eateries. There are places to sit & relax while your kid is busy. The best part is it isn't as crowded as these places usually are.

Great place to go on weekdays where there isn't too much crowd. Good variety of Lego sets to buy from the shops but stock of certain products can be gone for long periods. Great for kids!

A nice and interesting place that can be visited by families with children. The rides are more suitable for children up to 12 years old because the games are mostly for small children. Visiting on weekdays, when entering the rides there is no queue. Legoland has many restaurants and baby care rooms that are spacious and clean, for mothers who still have to breastfeed their children.

No proper shelter, it's difficult to move during hot weather and rain. Not much activities for kids below 105cm. Otherwise it's good. One more thing the shops at the theme area show have a service to send your purchases to the main store while will be easier for you to collect when leaving.

This mall is opposite of JB Sentral. Very strategic place in city.Also many hotels nearby.So is a good choice for shopping and eating too.And for children can play in Angry Bird Park.

Amazing mall, it's too big. Almost got every brand for the food and other stuff. It's clean well managed, there are always some kind of event, whenever I been there. Would like to go there again

Johor Bahru City Square mall is definitely one of the better modern mall just right across the Causeway. The mall is very vibrant with a wide selection of essential products, clothings and restaurants. Everything is all in one stop without the need to step out. Their forum space is always active with various events that draws the crowd. This time their Halloween theme currently on level 1 is very detailed decorated. Kudos for the great effort!

Great place for shopping especially for this month of Ramadan. Lots of stalls selling Hari Raya goodies at the main foyer. Had a lot of fun to get to taste most of the lovely goodies, the staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our shopping there but not much to say about the food outlets. Went to Sushi King at BL1 but was turned away, not that the restaurant is full but not enough staff to provide the service.

A big department store with everything that you need. Located across the bridge from Singapore. A place to immerse yourself as it offers a unique experience for other Asian travelers, much more for foreigners. Great!

It's connected to CIQ, the first mall to land after Malaysia checkpoint. You will find many eateries, bakeries, optical shops, Decathlon, Watson, Guardian, Popular etc. Unfortunately there's no supermarket in this mall. Restrooms are a little disgusting. Some new added stores March 20, 2024

This mega mall is situated at the centre of Johore Bahru and just beside the custom course way between JB and Singapore. It is a convenient shopping center for both Singaporeans and Locals. It is also fun to see seasonal decoration at the mall as well as wall art located in the shopping inner city. Make a trip or stop at this popular mall in Johore Bahru.

Conveniently located just opposite to the CIQ Woodlands checkpoint JOHOR Bahru. If you are taking a bus to enter Malaysia then you just need to walk over to this place via connected covered sheltered walkway. I found it super convenient to access this place via CIQ at ease. The place offer many cafes, bakeries, other food stalls and good spread out space to walk around and explore the shops. There is one big Uniqlo which people told me that it is cheaper in JB as compared to Singapore. Though I decided not to buy anything here but worth exploring. There are na y other stores such as Cotton On etc in the vicinity. If you are planning for a day trip without any concerns of safety then this place is recommended. On the way back just walk over to CIQ and return to Singapore at ease.

Date visited - 14 September 2023. A large shopping mall conveniently located next to JB Sentral train station and Customs & Immigration Complex. Has a large variety of shops to spend at least half a day in. Occasionally, temporary events will be held at the ground floor atrium.

Came down for some chilling and found that quite a number of shops have closed down at level 5. Food wise, there are still quite a variety, ranging from the usual kopi, Chinese food, to Japanese food. I would think Sushi House is value for money, seeing that the food is nicely textured and the price not too much. Old town coffee is still here, baskin robbins too. Decathlon to me is a new addition, and popular is having a sale. Overall a nice chill for a lazy day But you probably wont need to spend too long here. 3 hours should be more than enough unless you intend to go for massage or a movie or a nail therapy

This is a fantastic mall. Often busy with tourist from Singapore. The mall has a wide array of shops and easily accessible from the CIQ. The mall is well decorated with different Cultural and religious events. Quite a few decent shops that sell clothes at a discounted price. The mall boasts a Cinema and it's connected to the Komtar JB CC which makes the shopping experience even better.

Conveniently situated just across from the CIQ Woodlands checkpoint in JOHOR Bahru, this location is easily accessible if you're arriving by bus, thanks to the connected covered sheltered walkway. I found accessing it through CIQ to be exceptionally hassle-free. The area boasts numerous cafes, bakeries, and food stalls, along with ample space for leisurely strolls and shop exploration. Notably, there's a sizable Uniqlo rumored to offer more budget-friendly prices than in Singapore, making it worth a visit, even if I opted not to make a purchase. Additionally, stores like Cotton On are in close proximity. If you're planning a day trip and safety isn't a concern, I highly recommend exploring this area.

It's a nice popular mall, near the immigration checkpoint. It's in the heart of the city, within walking distance to hotel like Hilton DoubleTree, Amari etc. It's about 30 to 40min drive from Senai International Airport. Its quite spacious and has plenty of options for food and beverages. Because of its strategic location, it seems to be popular for the Singaporeans too. It's also next to another mall JBCC. Cinema operator here is mmCineplexes.

New shop opposite Subway. I love bagels and Cinnabon buns. (Breads lover. Sour Dough lover) Went crazy when I saw this new stall. Bought pecan salted caramel cinnamon bun. A great place for a quick fix of shopping spree out of Singapore. Affordable contact lens and cafe for family outing and easy access to near by popular hidden cafes out from the mall. Best pick up place for grab will be located at Levis exit.

Good entry point into JB Central as it is next to the bridge from immigration. Lots of shops but getting a slightly worn out due to the years it has been in operation. Definitely cannot compare with South Key and due for a refresh. Nonetheless, a great place to do a short shop hop over from Singapore for affordable food and shopping.

This is our 3rd time visiting hello kitty land, our kids really enjoy it, 3 and 4 year old during our first visit and now 4 and 5 year old and still they enjoying it. Can spend about 2-3 hour at hello kitty land, and Thomas is a MUST visit, they are the best among these 2 places, it’s a kids mini fun fair but with 1 ticket at unlimited ride. Cheaper than going fun fair of s$5-$8 per ride. Good visit and fun for kids. They can play and jump around a whole day.

Great for toddlers and kids slightly above 110cm to enjoy all rides. It has Barney, Thomas, and Bob the builder shows on weekdays and my children love it very much. Credit for offering multiple entries within a day as you can go out for a quick lunch. We also appreciate the free credit on playing the arcades.

Hello Kitty & Sanrio’s friend very cute but Very pricey entrance fees ! As the Hello Kitty land was VERY VERY small , not thing much to see and play . All of us ( Me , my hubby & 2 kids ) agreed with this is a bored attraction. Other than few activities ( decorating the Cookies, make your own badge ... ) nothing much to do over there . Not worth it . Think twice before you come .

A very exciting theme park for young girls. You can purchase admission ticket to Hello Kitty Town only, or two-park entry, to Thomas Town, which shares the same building but on a different floor. Allocate at least half a day to indulge in this attraction. Do take note that purchasing your theme park ticket(s) online is more convenient and cheaper than purchasing it at the counter. Plus, sometimes, discount codes are available on their official website.

If you are hello kitty lover, than u must visit this place because everything here is hello kitty and friends; Bob the builder, and so on. This place is actually suitable for kids because they can play a lots of indoor cute game. As a parent, u no need to worry because all the game is safe. Also, got performance from hello kitty, this is so adorable 😍 i miss this moment. The entrance fee for local tourist is around rm1++

Slow service at the reception desk. The apartment is relatively clean with room service. It's link to the mall. Convenient to look for food and buy things.

Place: a run down mall, way past its prime, with poorly lit & dirty carparks. The stalls inside are being reduced to "hawker-style" stalls selling mainly computer, handphone or ornaments. There's surprisingly A LOT of hair salons & nail+eyelash beauty salons here, on EVERY FLOOR! Too many in fact accumulated in one place. Mainly caters to people who want to use the hair/manicure/pedicure salon, or eat in a restaurant that's here. They do sell things rather cheap here. They do have Lotus(previously Tesco), coffee bean and tea leaf, Watson, sports direct, ubiso, miniso, family mart, most of the major telcos, etc. So, it serves its purpose.

Shop at lever 3 infront of cinemas left hand side. Bad Service. Keep saying that open very long and have a lot of experience. I paste the phone protector for my phone Fold. They telling me no issue. After I choose the type of design they paste and tell me this material not suitable ask me change other design. After paste found that sticker keep open. Ask the person she say is my casing cause that issue. I remove the casing also same then she tell me is the phone issue. 🙄 all problems also blame the phone or case. Ask me to add $$$. Found that was a cheating shop.

Super bad experience with one of the nail/salon service (Show Salon affilated with S Sebastian). They do not have the shop location on google maps. Was brought to Show Salon by one of S Sebastian stuff to do manicure, ask if able to do right away and claimed that able to. Subsequently, i was led to sit on chair & left waiting for 40 mins with no staff attending to me. Nobody told me abt the waiting time. Felt scammed to go to the shop, only to wait 40 mins with no service given. Vry unprofessional & discourage anyone who wants good service to go in there. Left in thre end without doing manicure. Waste of time. Will not return again.

KSL is one of the most popular malls in Johor, located in a busy area where local food and stalls are easily accessible. Great to visit KSL again after 2 years closed of the Sinagpore and Malaysia border due to the pandemic. Good to see that some shops are still in operation. New shop added like Lotus's.

I stayed at the KSL Hotel in JB and found its location to be excellent. However, the room could use some improvements, particularly the lighting in the bathroom. It would be great if they could make it brighter for a more comfortable experience.

Fantastic Shopping Mall This is one of the biggest and marvellous shopping mall in Johor Bahru. This shopping mall is well connected with sentosa and pelangi areas. This is one stop shopping mall for all the household needs, entertainment and food...etc My favorite place for shop and eat! Huge mall with everything you need

NOTE” im resident this is the worst lift I’ve ever seen I got stuck inside the lift press ring after quite sometime then got people respond . We were trapped in the elevator. The person only responded to us once and then stopped contacting us. After that, the elevator kept vibrating up and down. We were very scared. The elevator maintenance man also told me that I would not fall. I thought to myself, if I were in a high-rise building, I would be doomed. I regret buying this place. The elevator is very bad. maintenance fee increase 50%？then what are you guys doing sleeping？ someone incharge please reply me

A good place for weekender shopper from Singapore. From simple meal to restaurants level meal. Local snacks like cuttlefish, biscuits, coffee and etc Price wish is subjective as it is a mall but is a under one roof shopping so you do not need to travel around to get those common snacks. If you are looking for some sports shoes do visit Sport Direct you might find something for yourself.

First time here. although it looks older than the city square more, it feels more down to earth kind of shopping. Needless to say, it has all your everyday needs. Many eateries around the area too. Definitely good for frequent visit.

The shopping mall looks a bit outdated however don’t be mislead because it’s still a great place to come and do shopping, there is lots of shops and plenty of spas. In fact I was very surprised to see so many massage places in one shopping mall, I think it’s mostly designed for tourists from Singapore😏 all I could see is hair salons next to each other and varies massage places on different levels and some of them are open till 2am! I noticed Food is very cheap at the lower level and cinema!!!

It has lots of hair, nail salon, massage palor. A cinema and karaoke place. Some f&b with lots of phone accessories stores. Night market along the street only on Monday. Have a lotus supermarket too

Spacious and comprehensive. Starting from restaurants, clothing stores, health supplies, to technology, everything is here. The atmosphere is modern and clean. Perfect for shopping until you lose track of time.

Puteri Harbor Family Theme Park is very famous since today. Many visitors take this opportunity to spend time on vacation with their beloved families. Among the advantages of this theme park is the beautiful view and suitable for family photos, especially at dusk. In addition, there are several food stalls available for hungry families. In addition, there is also a shopping center for visitors to buy souvenirs and other items. I recommend this theme park to families who want to spend time together this holiday.

Though it’s a tourist attraction point, there is nothing much to do. Due to the Covid restrictions, I think things have changed since then and have not seen any fun activities around the neighbouring. Noticed a few restaurants there. Hopefully, they would serve some good food!

A nice place for a stroll if you have nothing tk do at night. There are bars to drinks and there are Muslim friendly food stores. Some street vendors that sells clothes and toys but I only spend about 15 minutes here.

Lovely place to hangout with friend the love one and family! Many outlets like restaurant, bar, games, groceries, Starbuck, mamak and much more ! This place also got dancing fountain water which it's dancing following the beats of the song. On days you can visit and enjoy the views of art made from recycled iron along side the puteri harbour you can also overview from the bridge. The very best view were at night , the environment is so stunningly beautiful with the atmosphere of many lights . People were also ride the harbour using the electric scooter that can be rent for easier touring. All the beautiful scene can be capture here, the skies full of bubbles from kid around the harbour ! I highly recommend this place to hang out and visit one of the most beautiful place in johor ! 100/10 very recommended

Nice, clean, safe and children friendly setup. The parent can relax while the kids enjoy their play, there is a chill out place for parent on the 2nd floor (above Angry Birds Snack Bar). During peak period, the park will be closed on 1-2pm, 5-6pm for cleaning and make good. Please bring a pair of socks for your kids or yourself if you are entering the park. Wearing if socks at all time is a must. There are many online promotion for cheaper tickets, we bought ours through Fave. The toilets are very clean, hope it can be maintained for safe and clean use of our kids for always.

The activities here are mostly suitable for kids 5 to 12, with some climbing, some go-karting, and LOTS of jumping! The foam pit was definitely the most popular spot of the park, and kids show how quickly their courage develop as they jump from higher and higher up. There is also a smaller play area via a separate gantry that has no other kids, but it makes for good climbing and has slides. Some of the climbing areas are too small for adults to go through, so may not be suitable for children who still require adult assistance. There's 3 sessions a day, with the first session the least crowded. Ticket is valid for the whole day, comes as a wristband that you have to keep on. You must use their socks at RM6 for both adults and children.

My favourite indoor park so far. Parents and kids can play & enjoy toghether. They separated the trampoline sections by age group so you n your kids can have same experience at the different level. Ofcourse it for safety reasons. Ontop of that there is more then 10 exciting games to play & you can play all day long. They have shower area in the female's toilet room. Cafe for titbits. Lounge for parents & kids have a break.Space for birthday party.

A very nice place to keep your children at to have fun and play safely The crew members are friendly It’s safe because the staff will not allow your child to leave until he scans his bracelet And it’s located in the middle of 2 connected malls The only problem is that they are 2 playing areas that are not connected

Being a Hindu I was excited to visit the Glass temple. Ample parking. There is a fees for photography inside the temple, even using mobile phone. Love the interior of the temple. Was really disappointed with lack of washroom. We were directed to a temple next door forced to walk on slippery floor ( I was worried for my 70 yr old mom ) to a stinky washroom. Most disappointing is to see the main temple entrance deity filled moss. I have never seen a temple in this condition.

Went there on 8 May at night around 8.30pm. No doubt it is a beautiful temple. We saw some Indians went for prayers and they told us it's free entrance when we are standing in front. After we taking off our shoes, there is a Indian guy suddenly approached us and insist to want us pay Rm10 per person to enter the temple. We are so confused, we told him the Indian auntie told us that it's FREE and we also asking around all the Indian enter for free without paying a single cents and say no need to pay. We felt little of being scammed so we left unhappily after blocking by the guy that want money from us at the entrance. Hope that the management can take some action against this kind of unfair discrimination treatment to each individual, it is so unfair that Chinese need to pay while Indian don't need...

We come during night time, its not easy to find the trail to the temple, even GPS also fail to guide us. After asking the local for direction, only we can make it. The temple is truely magnificent, and shining. Entrance fee is adult RM10, kid RM5. Worth visit when you travel to JB.

Today we visited Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple, the temple is one of the oldest temple in Malaysia and it is listed in the Malaysian Book of Records as the first and only glass temple in the nation on 12 May 2010. Today also the celebration of Chaitra Pournami, which is the Indian festival. We also get everyone a candle to pray for better health. 🙏🏻 💰 RM10 (adult) RM5 (kid)

A racist attitude, they will charge anyone who isn’t Hindu an entry fee of 10RM per person. 20RM for a temple about 5m wide. The temple is unclean and the glass panels just aren’t worth seeing. It’s a construction site too. The final straw was how rude they were in there. Beware the nice comments are from Tamil names, which means they are the ones who didn’t pay an entry fee. Go to any Chinese temple, mosque in this country and they won’t charge you a fee you can happily donate - nothing is forced. Avoid avoid avoid. (Even Batu Caves don’t charge you)

Seemingly nice temple, but from the reviews looks like it is perpetually under renovation/reconstruction. The floors were dusty because of the work happening.

I went to this temple in afternoon, but it was closed. Yet most of the Hindu temples close in afternoon, but still tried to get entry. Also tried to call someone inside the temple, but no response. Finally I have to come back without darshan. I don't know when I will get chance again to see this temple. I would strongly recommend to all tourists to visit the temple. Thanks

Entrance for RM10 unless you're Indian/Hindu. Based on the unfavorable reviews here complaining about service and attitudes, I guess they have become more tourist-friendly now, maybe because now there are not many tourists. By the time I visited it seems I was the only tourist, the dozen of others were all praying Indians. Not just they didn't charge me 0.5 extra for the shoe basket, they also allowed me to take written pictures without extra charge even though notices of taking pictures require RM3 per shot were still all over inside the temple. I would say, the glass temple was less than impressive especially after reading many favourable comments and getting my expectation a bit too high. After all, the temple was not big. There were really not much to see. The artistic effect is not too astounding. While it should be praised for its beauty and creativity, I'm not certain whether the entrance fee and the time was worth. However given that there are not many attractions nearby, I didn't regret having a look here.

Very confusing experience. There were signs outside saying 15rm per adult. First security took us through after taking our shoes off, then up to a counter inside the temple, he said 15rm each and then he started writing tickets and asking us what country we are from. He then went to talk to someone else in the temple, then got on the phone, and then got an English lady to talk to us and told us when we were already inside the temple the price was 48rm for the first person and 25 for the other and were going to make us buy a t shirt. Luckily my partner said we couldn't afford it as I was about to pay because I felt very uncomfortable and didn't want to upset them. I feel like there's lots of racial discrimination going on here and extreme price gouging off foreigners. Beautiful small temple from what we saw, but would never recommend for foreigners. There was also a red sign on the driveway to the temple of a man with a rifle pointing at someone running... Terrifying

Unique & Amazing place to visit. This Hindu temple is the first & only glass temple in Malaysia. It is not just a temple, it is a cultural and artistic works. Beautiful, glistening and unique temple like no where in the world. Temple is very well kept, clean and organized. Priests and Assistants are friendly & helpful to visitors. Please note that you need to be barefoot in the temple, and their is an entrance fee of RM10 for sightseeing visitors (local & foreigner). The fees they collect & the donation given via the donation box goes to the upkeep of the temple whereas purchases of oil lamps, souvenirs and books goes to charitable activities by this temple.

It is stated as 'Open' on google map. but when i was there just now at 11 it is still closed. Deceiving betul. I called nobody pick up also. Can see many people was there and get disappointed. Paid grab for nothing.

Got kicked out after an amazing 1hour. Was told by workers it was open but got kicked out by an angry toothless staff who could not enunciate basic sentences but was quite good at screaming.

The zoo is considered small compared to other zoo that I've been. But suprisingly, there are a lot of animals. I advise to visit between 9am to 11am as some nocturnal animals still awake. The zoo gave opportunities for the public to feed their deers and camels. Would be a great experience for kids.

This place is CLOSED FOR PUBLIC so i hope anyone out there especially foreign tourist could took the time to read the google review, as i saw few times, tourist WALK to the zoo but to no avail. Kinda sad but thats the truth. As for myself, i occasionally go there with my kids just to roam outside the gate and watch few animals like the flamingos, deer, hyppo, ostrich, and one “monkey species”. Also goose and stork birds and fat turtle. You can see clearly if the trees along the fences are cut off, and vice versa. Good enough to entertain my kids when they need to watch the animal. Plus, my husband’s workplace is just near.

Very cheap entrance for RM2 (Adults) and RM1 (kids). Small compact zoo with birds and wild animals such as tigers and lions. There are few camels as well. Mini stalls selling fruits, drinks, burgers and junk food. Not recommend to bring stroller as most of the area with stairs. Finding parking would be challenging as the is not proper parking space. Just park at the roadside or mosque area up in the hill.

It's a pretty okay zoo. Despite all the no littering signs, people still litter. The place seems dirty, especially the walls. Maybe a new coat of paint would do. Overall quite cheap and has decent range of animals. 2rm for adult tickets.

I was so excited to come back to see the animals here once i saw the status on google and its facebook that is open but sadly when we arrived it is still closed. still rated 5 stars for those cute animals which i came to visit them 4 years back. Should the zoo organizer update the information properly because there were a lot of family who brought their children to visit the zoo but disappointed. 😕

Worth visiting. Entrance fee is just RM2 for adult. It's a mini zoo, not much to see. Can easily spend an hour here. Some of the displays have been upgraded, so that's good. There's no designated parking lot, so park at your own risk. I suggest visiting early because the weather will be hot during noon.

If the zoo is under renovation change it on Google. So stupid. Ppl come all the way to see it's under renovation.

City Municipal please act and do something fast on the drunk homeless people... They are way too many. Concern about safety. Especially their hygiene, they spit and urine everywhere they like. Unhygienic and harassing for young child. Hopefully City Municipal together with others enforcement work closely and consistently eliminate all of drunken Homeless immediately. Immigration can also raid illegal foreign workers in this area. Make Johor a great and safe place to visit

This road has undergone major upgrading and landscaping. The left side of the road is now a very nice park-like pedestrian walkway. There's even a man-made little stream in the middle of the walkway with fishes in it. The bus stops of yesteryear had also been relocated, reducing the roadside crowd and eliminating the messy traffic jams. But the roadside hawkers and performaners have also disappeared. With them, the old charms of Jalan Wong Ah Fook have gone with the wind. What a pity.

This road is always busy and bustling with life. It never fails to make a good impression on me whenever i cross this place. One disadvantage would be that the noise level is high, but that is justified since it is near the CIQ.

The didn’t let me in, and most entrances were closed. This is more like a truly religious site than a tourist destination. So if you’re tourist, you can skip this. The area is pretty nice and the mosque is quite unique with the yellow color.

This is a beautiful Muslim building -- the construction style is a little different from the traditional Muslims mosque i saw in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. The design style is unique -- the back side of this mosque , accorss the water another side is Singapore..

It's a good thing to visit when coming to Johor. Well maintained heritage, monumental building that representation of the Islamic Practice in this country

Simply beautiful. I was living in midlle East for 10years but this is one of the best mosque ever. Some old reviews says that tourist are allowed to enter. But I talked one with one guard and he said no. However, you can enjoy the mosque from outside. It is still worth to visit for me.

The mosque nicely preserved and looks majestic like an old castle. Unfortunately, visitor was not allowed to enter the main prayer room area (mimbar) perhaps they have specific time only.

A legendary mosque in JB. It is now open after a long period of renovation. It is near Zoo Johor which so cheap for the entrance. From up here you can get the view of the sea and can see Singapore. Big space of the mosque but no AC which is not a big deal giving the fact that the place is windy from the sea. A lot of parking space and a lot of open space to rest if you want to sleep. Sleep in the pray area is prohibited. Thats why they have the open space outside to rest and sleep. Beautiful design of the mosque even though the design is quite old but with new painting.

This is the place for a muslim to perform prayer. For non-muslim tourist please consider to come here because you may not allowed to enter inside the mosque to see the architecture of inside mosque. There are several security officials looking after this mosque. I had an experienced perform salah in this mosque as musafir. Such a great mosque with unique architecture.

Came for subuh. Long drive up the unlighted hill. Passed the cemetary too. Once I entered it seems majestic but sadly sejadah was not prepared and silly me didn't bring my sejadah, hence my knees were killing me at every sujud. I like very much that the security arranged the footwear nicely. First time I see a very high Mihrab/Minbar.

Found this place accidentally, as we arrived in JB too early. Was walking around to look for a place to eat and rest, and a nice security guard guided us to the food court through their service lift. And had a good rest here and when mall was open, found the place to be nice and spacious.

KOMTAR JBCC was a good place to visit and shop. February event was awesome and got the chance to experience the iconic Changay Parade once a year. Definitely will come back.

There is a Touch n Go (TnG) reload / topup machine at level 3 near the lift area. The reload is free of charge. I think it is a good initiative to allow customers to topup their TnG card at this convenient place near JB custom.

City square is better. Half the shops are closed at komtar and the supermarket on 3rd floor was closing down. Mr DIY also closed. Bonus points for having a pond downstairs.

I used to spend my early teenage years in the 80s. However, the mall was refurbished 100% and all my nostalgic memories are gone forever! No more Rockstation, Gold Disc record store, B Sound Studio, Snooker Centre, and Emporium/Parkson.... Those are my memories....sigh.... The newly refurbished mall looks awesome and premium though ...

Have kids indoor playground level 2 n 3. Big food court. Many store for dinner restaurant n massage. Pharmacy n pedicure and manicure. Hijab stores.

Better mall than city square. Not too crowded. Many food options including a food court on level 6 serving a variety of food which are also very reasonable priced. Mark and Spencer also has a shop in the mall.

This place has lots of choices to shop and eat. There are many popular brands visible here such as Starbucks, CoffeeBean, Pizza Hut, 4 Fingers, Thai express and many other good food restaurants at this place. There is one shop selling dates and Middle East products too. Spotted some nails salon and massage too. Holiday inn is just connected to this mall and have their lobby at 8th floor which is very convenient to stay if you are planning to explore city area around in JOHOR Bahru.

Upmarket mall located close to CIQ. Well maintained, clean, and pleasant. However it looks like more than half of the shops are still closed possibly due to the pandemic.

I was expecting the place to be big and crowded, not yr usual temple that have open gardenbor pond. It is a small quiet temple with friendly staff/ volunteer there to guide you how to do praying and offer the joystick. Free entry. Just donate at your will in their donation box for the joysticks. You can also walk around.

The Johor Ancient Temple was established around 1870 and is believed to have been built by Kangchu Tan Hiok Nee. The Temple belonged to the five major bang each worshipping their respective gods in the temple as follows: Zhao Da Yuan Shuai (Hainanese), Hua Guang Da Di (Cantonese), Gan Tian Da Di (Hakka), Hong Xian Da Di (Hokkien), Yuan Tian Shang Di (Teochew). The Yuan Tian Shang Di is the main deity of the temple. The temple has been taken over and managed by the of the Johor Bahru Chinese Association. It underwent a major renovation in 1994-95 at a cost of 1.5 million ringgit.

Not much things to see if you're a traveller. Don't recommend to go all the way here even if you like Chinese temples.

Johor Ancient Temple was A good place and I would recommend to see it once. It is close to Gurdwara sahib, and Hindu Glass Temple.

Nice temple to visit while you are in JB.

Visited back in March before the MCO and lockdown. This is one of the oldest religious buildings in Johor Bahru and the oldest Chinese temple. The front of the building is beautifully decorated with cute paintings of 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac. The front entrance is painted in bold red and contrasts beautifully against the predominantly white background of the front wall. The temple interestingly serves all the main dialectal Chinese groups of the city. So it’s not a surprise that the temple has a mixture of shrines for Buddhism, Taoism and other Chinese deities. The Chinese deity Yuan Tian Shang Di is most prominent in the temple as the shrine is in the main central building while there is a subsidiary building for the Goddess of Mercy.

Great space to pay respects. Surprisingly, a little small and not many deities to pray to. It didn't have signs to where you should pray in sequence and you'll just have the uncles and aunties screaming at you in Mandarin where you should go instead. Noticed we were not the only one because they did that to anyone new who came to pay respects

JB's Old Taoist Chinese Temple, known as 'Old Temple' by the locals, is one of the oldest structures within the City dating back to the 1870's and 1880's founded by Tan Hiok Nee (former head of the Ngee Heng Company) and has become a symbol of unity amongst the five ethnic Chinese groups. The Temple is well-maintained and clearly well taken care of. I enjoyed the beautiful paintings and artwork adorning the inner courtyard walls. Plus the informative and educational details provided were also interesting.

An old temple that is more then 100 yr near to city square. Make donation and make prayer. Nice people there in the temple,the elderly there are helpful. Will go again.

We were here during the Chingay celebrations so the deities had been taken away. The temple itself is very small but we found it peaceful. It's in a central location so there are more things to see around as well. Worth a visit in the morning.

It's not quite in the Johor Bahru city centre area so there's no big traffic jams or difficult roads to drive through to get here. It's a big mall and besides the usual cinema (GSC cinema) and kids' play area, it also has some unique entertainment facilities; an ice skating ring (Blue), a rock climbing wall (Camp5), gym (Celebrity Fitness) and an archery range (Stars Archery). And there's a good range of F&B shops too for when you've tired yourself out from all the shopping and exercising! Tip: The layout of the mall is a bit like an L shape so make sure you turn the corner as there are more shops available!

Unfortunately nothing much to do here. Tourists who are coming here for the 50RM voucher you see from IG or TikTok, don’t waste your time. The vouchers don’t apply to the entire mall, only selected shops, and they change every time. You need to download their app too. Came here on a weekend and they had a kpop dance competition which was quite entertaining. But made me realised how big this mall is, as they could hold 2 exhibitions at once (another one is for Japan/Korea stores). And how even though the sound was so bloody loud at the kpop dance competition, I couldn’t hear a single thing at the other side of the mall. Overall, was entertained by the kpop dance competition.

The big mall is quite good for hanging out. There is a food area on the top floor, ice skating area, food street area, electronic gadget area

Visited Paradigm Mall around 6pm today. The mall looked relatively new, with many shops on the upper levels. There were shops that sold apparel from sports brands like Nike, Puma, Adidas etc. There was also a variety of cuisines (Korean, Japanese and Chinese etc) There were quite a lot of people, probably because it’s a weekend. They were also having a promotion where you get 3 hour free parking if you tap in with certain cards like Visa, touchngo (and other cards that i didn’t take note of) Definitely worth the visit if you’re in JB!

It is an all-rounder mall with a little bit of everything under one roof. Be it entertainment, shopping for clothes, household items, electronics, furniture or sports wear, beauty care, hair cut etc. Still have some shop lots that are vacant but there is still a lot to browse through. Quite a fair bit of halal food options too. Just that the toilets could use some proper cleaning and keeping them dry and smelling nice.

Hall is decently big and enough securities at parkings and at mall to help and guide us. A safe place to be around. Theaters are good and easy to book as there are frequent shows.

The mall opens 10am on the dot. A lot of shoppers were waiting patiently and rushed in once the door were opened. It’s not a very big shopping mall but they have Parkson, Padini, Harvey Norman, Daiso, cinema, ice skating rink, karaoke, major f&b and fashion

Large mall with ice-skating rink, cinema, indoor playground, vr-experience, furnitures… and the list goes on! Toilets are relatively clean but it’s a wkday, so less crowd for sure. Design of mall is dated but I think they bravely embraced it cos the current festive theme is Retro-Raya!

Horrible experience, stuck heavy traffic jam more than 2 hours in car park, yet no management to arrange traffic control to ease the traffic. Doesn't even reserve a star !!

Visiting Paradigm Mall in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, was like stepping into a world of shopping excitement. There were so many stores to explore, from cool fashion spots to cute local shops. I loved smelling all the delicious food as I walked around, and there were plenty of places to grab a bite to eat. I even caught a movie at the super fancy cinema! The mall was so modern and lively—I had a great time and can't wait to go back!

Having heard a lot of negative stories about this mall, we decided to give it a test. Well, you can call it whatever you want BUT one has to give credit where credit is due! There is a strategic mix of tenants in the mall. Even the Food Court is nicely done. Many Halal restaurants with amazing food offerings. What really upsets me is that having spent about 500rm on shopping, we couldn't redeem our Christmas gift at the redemption counter. Apparently the staffs left by 9.30pm. Another upsetting point was the Village Grocer. The guy in the Green T-shirt decided to close all the cashier counters just because he was upset with a lady. Silly fella, he caused a massive traffic at the cashier counter with customers young and old complaining!!! Action should be taken against him! This delayed us as well! Anyway, FANTASTIC MALL!

Good number of shops found here. Some nice branded shops were found here that were not there in other malls. Bought good quality clothes and bag. A one stop mall for shopping decent branded stuffHall is decently big and enough securities at parkings and at mall to help and guide us. A safe place to be around. Theaters are good and easy to book as there are frequent shows.Spacious, clean and large. Good selection of fashion wear shops. Many stalls in the food arcade were not operative. 2 lovely home furnishings shops at the basement level.

💢 I think this is among the great mall in JB besides Midvalley Southkey as it is complete with the F&B, fashion or even entertainment. Definately a great place to hangout or spend your weekend.

It’s a pretty good mall. The theater and grocery stores are great. Some good food options with lots of other stores for pretty much anything you need. Parking can get busy and slow on the upper levels.

This is a very large mall some 6 to 7 floors full of large modern shops I'd guess well more than a 100 shops of different rather large sizes in there, an upmarket supermarket Parkson, the retail mix is very good. Possibly less pricy for retail as well. The mall is so large that there is even a skating ring at the 6th floor! Food and foodcourt is at the 5th and 6 floor.

One of my favourite malls. Not too big (compared to Toppen, mid valley etc) but it has everything you need, ice skating rink, arcades, food court, cinemas, archery, rock-climbing, fast food, bakeries, eateries and restaurants.

20rm, can be paid by credit card. The place is small, no locker, no shower, no life guard. Very outdated, not well kept If you are not staying in the hotel you need to walk through the carpark. It is so confusing. The signage are not helpful. There are 3 areas. Kids pools with playground. Big pool. And slide pool. Can't complain much as my kid had fun. Probably more worth it if you stayed in the hotel.

RM 20 per adult or per child. Tag given upon payment and can present for re entry same day. Payment at counter only, and they accept CARD payment only. No locker available. Chairs are available around for you to place your belongings or towels. No life guard present. 3 pools are available and suitable for kids below 12 years old. Excitement level is 2 levels up from the public hotel pool just outside as the plus point are the 4 x slides, buckets and a pathetic spray cannon. A photo taking spot for visitors. Also a snack corner outside the park entrance for visitor to refuel. I recommend to use hotel shower facilities as the public shower areas are poor conditions. Entry will be subjected to the weather conditions as we are told to exit park when there is heavy storm approaching. Personally i felt that its lacking in many areas but this is the nearest water park you can find in this area. Apologise for the lack of pictures.

paid rm10 / pax. but the water gets dirty because the residences' balconies are facing the park so there are a lot of ciggy buts. my kids enjoyed the park. easy to handle the kids as the park wasnt so big. however, my kids have flu and everything after we came back from there. the route from the residences to here is far and confusing because you have to go through a dark parking lot. like, why??????!!!!!!! but the view at the parking lot was nice during the sunsets

Place looks worn-out and old, but after entering it was ok, average. Paid rm20 for each for entrance.. Fun for kids age 1-12..

Facilities a bit run down, rm20 entry fee per pax, suitable for young children, the water slides need renovation as it felt dangerous and could be a risk for children.

Interesting for kids but the area is not as big as I have thought. One can see the entire park from the 360 photo I took of the park. Please feel free to view and determine if your children will like the place before going. Note: there's an entrance fee for visitors (RM65 / adult) and a discounted price for hotel guests (RM10 / per adult or kid but free for under 3 years old). Sorry. Can't recall the public rate for children.

Good place. But I would highly recommend this museum to Chinese people only. But there are no such place in Johor to Visit as tourist so that's why you can come and spend some time here. 6 Ringgit for 1 person 5 Ringgit for Group (Minium 7 people) 3 Ringgit for Students

Visited in March. The Chinese Heritage Museum is an interesting museum detailing the history of the Chinese in Johor Bahru. The first two floors are dedicated to and have an amazing amount of detail about the different Chinese communities that settled and on their contribution. The top floor is a special exhibit on gambier, the crop that originally made Johor wealthy and first brought the Chinese over to work the crop. A great museum for a very small entrance fee, so I'm giving it an extra star.

Randomly chance upon this Museum while exploring the hood of Jalan Tan Hiok Nee. This Museum is mainly on the Chinese community in Johor Bahru. This Museum is located near to the popular Hiap Joo bakery. Entrance ticket priced MYR$6 for adults, there are serval pricing for different category. This Museum is 3 stories high if I didn't remember wrongly. Quite a lot of things to read up on. Read up on the different information of the different Chinese dialect group in JB.

Very lovely and well maintained and organized museum worth visiting! We walked pass by on the New Year Eve and saw their small activities in front of the museum such as Chinese Tradition massage/music then meet the museum staff who invited us inside and told us the history! My family love this experiences and the people and all staff here are super nice, kind and helpful. Thank You for all knowledge and wonderful experiences!

Definitely worth visiting! The price is reasonable too, just RM6 per adult. If I remember it correctly, it's four storeys. It shows us how and who founded Johor Bahru, the Japanese occupation period, production of gambir and pepper, brief history of Chinese culture. I wouldn't recommend bringing children here because it might bored them.

A quiet museum illustrating the history of the Chinese community in JB all for 6RM/pax. Was informative and enjoyed myself. However, the labels’ formatting are quite odd and takes away from the engagement. Some has the Mandarin texts before the English. Some the other way round. Would recommend to come learn on the history apart from the usual eating/shopping activities in the area.

Must visit if you love heritage place. Explore and know the history behind Johor Bahru. RM6 for adult enterance. Then walk along around the street.

A small museum but quite informative about the Chinese clan history of Johore Bahru although not a lot of real object exhibition. However, few caught eyes, the antique Chinese typewriter and the paper of treasury loan bill during war time. Good to drop by when you are in JB, only few minutes drive from the check point. Stay for 20+minute before going for food shops nearby

As part of the Johor Chinese heritage, had always wanted to know more about our culture. This museum is very small, not worth your time. You can visit ground floor to see the glorified history of the Johor Sultanate lineage and a little about the chinese heritage centre but once you paid RM6 to go up, its a big dissapointment. Most things can be seen or known from wiki or your elders story and items. I saw lots of Chinese nationals visiting, one group basically just came walk one round and left in 2mins.

Pleasant, relaxed but informative visit to the Heritage Museum today. RM 6 entry for Adults. Well worth the cost of admission. I loved the timeline provided and way the exhibits on upper floors were presented.

Great place to bring colleagues from other countries to visit. Great details of the Background of the Chinese community in Johor and a lot of artifacts too in this museum.

Small but worth a visit. Although the museum's primary focus is on local Chinese heritage it also includes plenty of artifacts and history relating to Johor in general. Best museum in Johor considering there are no other museums in the area.

Ticket Price for 1 Adult = RM6.00 Admission Charges Information are in the Photos I've taken. This is a very nice place to visit if you would like to learn more about the History of Johor Bahru. It was certainly an Educational and much needed Quiet Break from all the Foods and Mall Visits that JB is famous for. The Museum itself is not very big, the 1st floor is free for visit and has a Public Restroom and even a Water Dispenser for Travellers. I really appreciate this because this is a great place to take a rest to freshen yourself. That said, I would recommend to pay RM6.00 for the Entry to support them instead of just using the Restroom/Water Dispenser for free. The Museum itself has 3 more levels above (During my visit, highest level was closed for renovation) Do note there are no Elevators available, you can only go up via Staircase. The Exhibits Area is Small but do have several Artifacts with some Video Guides and many Historical Explainations that are all available in English / Chinese. It is relatively cleanly maintained and is Air-Conditioned, although it isn't very cold. There were hardly any people around when I was there on a Weekday. If you don't mind a RM6.00 ticket and is a History Buff looking for an alternate look at Johor Bahru, I do recommend this place. Please note that they are closed on Mondays.
