Amazing Place to visit, the Waterbom has a lot of activities and so clean and nice, family place to have fun even with your friends. Towers plays and the river so nice. The price is high but it’s worth it since you will have fun all the day. Recommend: You can have your towels with you and eater only so bring them with you. Price round 5000000 rubies per person dose not include any food or lockers. You have to put some deposit money minimum 300000 rubies and you will consume them for food and drinks. They have good quality of food and specially drinks. Rate: Price : 3/5 Location: 4/5 Food quality : 4/5 Drinks Quality: 5/5 Parking : available but i think it’s paid One of the most places you have to visit since it’s so green and fresh.

International standard water park. Safety first, clean, green and fresh. I came on Sunday 10 minutes before it opened, already quite a long queue. I bought tickets from Traveloka, cheaper than the offline/locket prices. Better come right it just opens cos some rides have long queues. The food prices were okay, the tastes were also not bad. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool attendants gave clear instructions and also cheered up the customers. Perfect for teens and adults, some rides maybe too much adrenaline for kids. Most of the rides need min. 122cm body height. Overall it's very nice there, recommended place to spend fun time with friends and family.

Just a super fun awesome day! Guaranteed fun for all ages, we felt like a little kid going around all the amazing slides. The grounds itself is well maintained and really quite beautiful. The staff are fantastic all so helpful and really good with people just felt a good environment. I would recommend maybe go early as you can if you want a sun lounger, we managed to get one over in the new area where the adult pool/bar was- it was really nice the area only opened in August, toilets were super clean and I couldn’t fault anything. Thanks for a really fun day 👏🤩 I would add more vid/photos but it’s best left for a surprise when you visit 🙂

spent the whole day here from opening until closing. the place is well maintained, safe and clean. staff are attentive and gives off good vibes. the new area is beautiful and great place to chill and float around after full day of going on slides. food and entrance fee is definitely on the expensive side, for us locals anyway. but definitely worth it

Awesome family water park. Get in quick to book/ reserve your nice shady bungalow, complete with safe, these bungalows are comfortable for small families right up to the bigger ones. The park itself was great, mapped well for easy navigation, clean and well maintained. There was a small wait in line to enter the park, wrist bands were handed out with money credit applied. This is returned on exit. Lines weren't too bad inside, however it was fairly busy with large groups of families. There was plenty of food to select from, from sushi, burgers, chips, pizza, smoothies, noodles and more all presented well and served and delivered to our bungalow or able to be brought on the spot. Showers and toilets were extremely clean and well maintained also. Staff were friendly as I found in most of bali and happy to help with enquiries and just a chat in general. Photos avail from professional camera man also and developed for purchase There too. A fantastic day to spend here on slides , swimming in the lazy river or just watching the kids in the kids pool and splash area highly recommend.

One thing I remembered was the service and staff, both are very pleasant and friendly. I had my feet stung by a bee and they quickly got me medicine. The staffs would greet and ask your experience, it was very nice. They have various types of water slides, my favorite was the superbowl. They have kids area and it’s big! The food and drink are well-tasted, for the payment we use cashless payment. The parking area is spacious. What’s most important is how they practice a good health protocol, especially during this hard time.

The place is not that big, but it was really good. Activities are quite complete and has a lot of choices for kids and adult. The slides are also quite new which will give you new experiences if your quite used to water theme park. They just lack ways to take pictures for those extreme rides. For me those are quite important since not everyone could try it.

Nice Waterpark to chill for the afternoon. Many rides and pools to have fun at. They have many food options available at very reasonable prices. Lockers, Towel rental, Gazebo are all available for rent. Overall a fun place to spend time with friends and family.

Great waterpark, you can spend the whole day here without any problems. Most of the attractions are for children from 120 cm, but even smaller ones will not be bored here. I must say that I was surprised how well maintained the park and all the attractions are. I recommend to buy the entrance in advance, you will get a small discount and avoid waiting at the ticket office.

My best experience with a water theme park. Visited there with my wife and two children aged 13 and 10. I had purchased the tickets earlier from online. Me and my 13 year old son explored all of the rides multiple times. All the extreme level rides that were required to enter a capsule were really scary but of course thrilling. The very first time I didn’t feel anything after entering a capsule. But from the next time, every time I entered a capsule I felt shaky but didn’t stop the ride. It was really hair-raising. There were plenty of rides we enjoyed with family and my other son. Lazy river with my family was really fun. It was really a memorable experience.

Enjoyable place! We went on Sunday morning. Arriving at 9:30am but the gazebo is already sold out. Luckily we could find out the good chair instead. If you’d like to book the gazebo on weekend, I recommend arriving at here by 9am, which is opening time.

The best water theme park I've been to so far. Great rides, very helpful staff and an all-round fun atmosphere. The park is cashless, so be sure to deposit at least 100,000 rupiah in the contactless wristband for locker rental (35,000 rupiah, with a 30,000 rupiah refundable deposit), photo purchase (150,000 rupiah for one photo folder) etc

The park is great. 14 water slides in total. Mostly frequented by foreigners. The staff at the park are amazing. They are kind, helpful and friendly. Certainly enhances the entire experience. Lots of greenery around the place so lots of places to hide from the blazing sun and the place is extremely windy which is good. Just opposite the park is a mall which has a view of the beach. Nothing really much at the mall.

Extremely clean! Staff was awesome…very friendly and always looking out for my children! We stayed basically the entire day and never waited more than 10 minutes for a ride. Good and drinks were delicious! The park photographers did a great job capturing memories and I ended up purchasing the entire digital package.

The park is super clean with you always seeing staff out cleaning. The rides are amazing and depending on when you get there wait times aren't that bad. Food is well priced in comparison to Aussie Dollars with an average lunch costing just $15. The perfect place for families with little kids with 2 designated kids areas with so much to do and the lazy river ride is also perfect for them. We also liked it was a cashless system so no chance of losing money or it being stolen :) Definitely buy tickets in advance to save yourself time getting in.

We headed here for the day to switch off from the hustle and bustle of the streets and have a blast! And a blast we definitely had! Although we are here without the kids, we still had an awesome day that left us smiling, a little burnt but very content! There are water slides for everyone's level of excitement, some for the softer hearts, some fast and some slow, and plenty of big pools to cool off in in between lounging on the sun beds and riding the slides. Plenty of choices of areas to get food, at a reasonable price too. Two swim up bars located at each end of the park are a great place to cool off. There's also a huge kids area that is currently undergoing an expansion! Definitely worth a visit for the young and the young at heart!

Booked a bungalow and stayed the whole day. Prices were reasonable, good food and drinks. Matter of fact the pizza we had could possibly be THE best I've ever had.. absolutely delicious. We were there during Christmas period so pretty busy but everything was really fun.

What can I say, one of the best water parks I've been to. Firstly, it is easy to locate. It's within walking distance in the kuta area. I went on a Saturday, and there was no long queue. I cannot confirm if it is cheaper to purchase tickets online and in advance, but it was really affordable on-site. The place is really well kept and maintained. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to buy food and drinks. There is wifi everywhere! Oh, and it's free! There is no need to worry about not being connected to the outside world. The lifeguards all speak English. It is easy to navigate once inside, and all workers are really friendly should you get lost and ask for help. It was an incredible experience, worth the price and time

What an amazing place. Clean and the staff are super friendly. We had a blast. The lazy river was my favourite. You can just relax and let it take you all around the scenic route. There is so much greenery. Absolutely loved the place. Plus the idea of having bands to put your money in is just brilliant. You don't have to carry anything with you and you can just swim and relax. Also highly recommend getting the orange band, this let's photographers around the water park know that you want photos and they take some amazing shots. Highly recommended for big groups and families. We got Cabana which helped with a place to rest and sleep if you are going to spend the whole day with kids. Can't wait to do it again!!! ❤️👍😊👏

It was a memorable day for us. I went to many water parks in this trip and I can say that it was the best. The staff were very polite and respectful. I definitely suggest you to dedicate a whole day to Bali Abbey Park. Lockers can be rented in two different sizes. They took the food with me at the beginning of our arrival, but put it in the fridge and gave it to us when we left. The quality of the food inside the Abbey Park was high, but it was acceptable.

Beautiful beach and good for surfers, there many shops who offer training and support with surfing boards and guides. There are a lot of shops also available for drinks and snacks, they provide chairs and shades.

Heavily eroded beach towards the Hard Rock Hotel end, with not much of its famous sand left after it was washed away. Instead of the once large expanse of sand there is now a cliff held up by sand bags trying to keep the board walk from washing away too. The beach gets much better towards Legian.

Nice sunsets but the beach itself is nothing special. You cannot swim there, only surf. The sand is grey, the water is not clear.

I just got to know it is a public beach. Too many entrepreneurs that ask you to hire their chairs. I would not want because if I sit down, I can only see other people’s head or their back, it is extremely crowded. Not my choice. Hot and noisy are the two words to summaries my experience. I went off shortly after 5 mins eye opening moment.

I love the beach. We walked along here loads. The atmosphere is good for a bit of people watching. Choose a place to get a drink and sit down and watch the world go by. Buy something from one of the locals, have a massage, learn to surf... the choices are endless.

Less than one minute from Pullman hotel where I stayed. Almost ever morning I came here to take photos of sun rise. It's a shame that this beach lost 90% of its tourist during Covid19. If you come over here, you may help the domestic commerce by buying the coconut water or the cold drink. There's another option to enjoy your holiday here, such as trying a new experience by surfing. You can't? You could be glad because there are so many surfing trainer here.

It’s amazing how God creates sunrise and sunset, it can hit differently everyday. It supposed to be rainy season and it’s been raining a whole week but I am so lucky during my visit! Make sure to get beautiful sunsets while in Bali! 🧡🧡🧡🌅🌅🌅

Quite nice beach, white sand, blue sea, and it has complete facilities such as toilets, taps for washing feet, playground and skateboard area, but i think there are too many merchant stalls, and there is still a lot of trash lying around, and many massage lady and the tattoo man forces visitor to use their services

Great beach for lounging and spending the day. Boardwalks are well maintained, beach is relatively clean, water is nice and warm. Loads of services available - food, lounge rental, drinks, toilets & showers. In some ways better than the beaches further north as they are flat and clean(ish).

You see one of the flat beach here. Wave tides are very high. Be careful while playing. Traffic jam will be there as road is very narrow towards the beach. There are many shopping center nearby

This was not a good beach ! There was a beautiful sunset but other than that, i would not recommend. It’s dirty Everyone is trying to sell you something (bracelets, hats, ice cream…) so you are always bothered and it’s never quiet. Will not come again

Had a wonderful New Year 2024 party here. The view of the fireworks was amazing. Beach was super crowded with people. We had trouble getting back to our hotel due to massive amount of people and motorbikes, but it was all fun anyway.

The most popular beach in Bali for domestic even international tourist. Kuta Beach also a good place for you all who wanna learn to surf. There are so many things that locals will offer you in this beach. Massage, surfing lesson, food & beverages, souvenir, and many more. Just be careful when you come to this beach at the first time. Very scenic views, fantastic waves - real shame about the cleanliness though. Plastic and rubbish is absolutely everywhere. Some parts are filthier than others but I'd highly recommend you walk up to Seminyak or Legian beaches where it's much cleaner.

Loved the vibes. You will love the sunset here! Very calm and serene beach with little crowd. Very good resorts to stay around with friends- Check out Carnoustie Resorts and some good cafes around. Just visit the beach. It's an awesome experience.

Didn't get to spend too much time here. But we did drive in and took a walk through. It is better Sanur beach. It is right across from the Hard Rock Hotel and is busier. We still got hassled by vendors but the beach looked nicer and cleaner.

Kuta beach is one of the most popular beaches in Bali, near the denpasar, area near the airport. Lots of activities go on all the time. From the early morning sunrise the surfing coaching and surfing activities start. Then the small shacks selling coconuts and drinks , chairs are set on the beach, massages, hair designers come. Sometime the kites are also seen to fly. On one side , the airport runway is seen jutting out to the sea. The planes descend on them like almost on the sea itself. What a sight! A very beautiful place at the sunset. Not very costly and many ranges of prices are seen for everything. Restaurants line up the beach side road with resorts and hotels. Nice place.

Went here last Jan 2023 and it was quite a relaxing beach, walking distance from my accommodation. I wish it was a lot cleaner though. If you’re not that picky and on a budget, this is a good enough beach to go to. Just probably won’t return to this one if I have better options due to all the trash :(

You get to take a little walk in the beach, you can buy drinks from stalls along the beach. There will be a more beautiful sunset if you wait a little bit longer. 💙This beach is not for swimming but you can rent a board and do surf while sunset 💙

Absolutely love this beach! I love tide pooling and this beach was superb for it early in the morning and late in the evening. I’ve seen so many great creatures and the sunrise/sunset is gorgeous!

Beachwalk Shopping Center is one of my favorite shopping centers in Bali. With its recent expansion, the mall has gotten even bigger and now has even more branded shops to choose from. One of the things I love about this mall is the variety of stores available. From high-end brands to more affordable options, there's something for everyone at Beachwalk Shopping Center. Additionally, the mall has a great selection of restaurants to choose from. While the food court options may not be anything super special, there are plenty of other great restaurants throughout the mall that offer delicious meals. Beach mall is located close to Kuta beach, designed for casual walks to see and buy goods like a mall, there are also several restaurants and coffee shops. suitable for relaxing and gathering with friends or family after walking on Kuta beach.

There is security to come into this centre. It’s a place for rich tourists looking for luxury brands and developed nations comfort. I’m 100% no locals would be welcomed unless they work there. Everything is developed nations prices. I found this shopping centre offensive as locals live in poverty and this oozes wealthy (even for average westerner standards).

It’s very open air feel to the shopping centre. Haas quite a few large brand names. I really liked the variety plus there are some great food options as well. A cinema is at Beachwalk also but not sure if it’s operating as we didn’t get a chance to take a look. Also great view out towards the beach from the rooftop!

Wondering how to spend a day in Kuta just shopping, eating and clicking photos then this is THE place. On our trip to Bali, we went to Beachwalk shopping centre twice and we loved it. It has many stores for shopping including H&M which my wife loves. We ate ice cream from the van which was expensive but tasty and had dinner at cafe Sardinia which is highly recommended. My boy loved seeing the fishes and Pikachu.

Great mall, beautifully designed and all kind of chooses from western shops! Definitely visit the room too for sunset of to enjoy the view from across the beach. Suggestion: they should add more signs because the place is huge and you can get lost in it.

We visited this centre half a dozen times in the past 2 weeks and it is clean, bright and interesting. You must show vaccination certificate, wear a mask and have your bags checked every time you enter.the food court upstairs is very cheap but also hot as it’s open air. The shops are mainly high end, no bargains and there is a good Guardian. Chemist and small supermarket downstairs.

Went here Jan 2024. It was walking distance from our accommodation though initially I thought it was quite far so we hailed a cab, it was traffic and too many foreigners out so I feel belong a bit hence when we were going home we decided to take a walk by Kuta beach nearby and it was a relaxing walk. There were lots of stores and the mall was really big.

Located near to Kuta Beach, best time to visit in the afternoon to enjoy sunset at the rooftop. They have open air with very modern design, they also have Beachwalk reisdences as the living place with Kuta Beach as the frontyard. It has 3 levels, lots of shops and tenants.

A great *kind of* outdoor mall. Since this mall is right in front of Kuta Beach, there are barely any taxis in front of the mall (Bluebird, in this case). Visited Beachwalk Shopping Center last Thursday, and gosh it was so hard to even find a single taxi. Is it just me, but I had a hard time to even find the escalator lol. But this is def a must visit when you go around Kuta.

This is an indoor outdoor kind of mall. Very beautiful. Beach front shopping mall. Loved the vibe of this mall. There's a wide range of options for shopping. The food court is also vast with a variety of options to choose from. Loved the vibe.

So much for all the overrated reviews..this mall is just a convenient centralised place for this stretch area. Nothing special at all. Worst part it's open air with NO A/C. Even the starbucks we went into for a cuppa was warm! I disliked it. Bali can get burning hot and to seek some cool air in a mall to relax is what tourists would like. I don't recommend and i won't return.

Lovely staff and security. Positive vibes from every interaction. Not over priced. Sundeck is the highlight so plan to go at sunset(unless you want to be at the beach which is a different matter) No real need to buy anything to be at sundeck although we sat at a restaurant and bought some drinks. Good cinema. Several places to eat. Beautiful decor. Multilayered mall with a blend of floors and huge ground space. We spent a good 6 hours here without getting bored

One of few shopping center on Bali located in Kuta. Have a variety of places including more western and local shops. Have a lot of amazing places to eat including best coffe roaster on Bali. On the 3rd floor there are beautiful sun deck where you can watch astonishing sunset. Place highly recommended by me.

Beautiful beach. Clear blue water, white sands (a bit rocky, not as soft). You can park and enter the beach from the main area, or drive your vehicle a bit further down to a spot much more private and serene. Enjoy!

Long stretch of beach in South Bali. There are lots of seaweed washed ashore, along with it some trash. But I chose to ignore it and enjoy the scenery instead. Can’t see the sun sets from here, but the sky is beautiful regardless. Also, the nearby cliff is magnificent and a gorgeous spot for a photoshoot.

It was my first time celebrating the New Year in Bali. We celebrated with the locals, which was both brilliant and interesting. There was a fantastic fire show, and the New Year's fireworks were beautiful. Happy New Year to everyone, and I wish for a smooth and prosperous year for all.

Woooowwww….. beautiful beach and I think one of the few beaches in Bali with lesser crowd and beautiful amazing views, crystal clear waters, picturesque roads above the beach. I think this is one of the best photography places to spend time, click pictures and enjoy the sunset. Best time to visit would be around 5 PM in the evening that’s when you see the true beauty of this beach.

Good spot, try to to here in the evening or the morning as it can be very hot in the day. Some nice beach clubs around. We saw no swimming signs but few were swimming. Saw a lot of surfers around. Nice view points where you can drive with your bike. No need to hike.

Quite nice beach but with small stones, not fully covered by sand. We spent time at the beach bar where we rented a sun bed. Service was OK, if you stay longer it is OK to visit. The area is probably still under development.

Perfect beach for kayaking, snorkelling, exploring the ocean. The beach is protected by the Corel reefs. Only downside is the extra entry fees requirements.

Looking for a sanded beach and sea? Don't go there. There is only a few meter of sand and the sea is all rocks. I have not stayed for the beach. Alongside the beach you have a lot of warung selling food and beach accessories. There is an electric bike rental and kids cars. There is a place to rent Balinese clothes. There's a gentleman doing caricatures. There are plenting of people renting canoes. Not worthy for my purpose.

Has Sogo department store downstairs and half of the mall seems to have some activity, people and shops but the other half is dead. I hope it returns with people and shops, it has lots of potential. Was nice to walk through the mall and then onto the beach which it backs onto. A lovely spot for a walk and to hang. We enjoyed the food there, upstairs on the top level there was Satos Takoyaki and a Pempek Pelambang stalls which had great friendly service and tasty food.

An underrated mall in Kuta that has a beach access inside it, so lovely❤ The sunset view is beautiful. This mall was kinda quiet in the pandemic era, before the pandemic they used to have acoustic music performance on the weekend, but now I don't think they still have it. It's just a big shopping mall where it's full with clothing, accessories and brand names products, and lots of fast food chains shops. There is no food court here, only a few local restaurants. The location is just at the Kuta beach and walking area.

I have too much memory in this mall, all are pretty happy memory, but since Kuta has Beachwalk, this mall had no chance to survive, its sad.

There are lots of construction outside the mall. Almost half of the shops are closed/unoccupied. Had eaten once but all the choices are purely fast foods. At the last floor there could have been a restaurant where to eat real foods but sadly they are closed. 3 stars though for quite good location.

Big and spacious. Another tourist spot here in Kuta, Bali area. Varies shops and department stores offered so many goods and luxury brands to shop. Shopping without the bustle and hustle from Kuta busy street district. Limited parking space provided but it's still okay. The main disadvantage was the lack of disability access throughout the premises. Not a single passenger lift or ramp for the wheel chair. Should be focused more on this matter. Even there is no public restroom provided in the mall. Located far from the mall itself. The management should be looking more on these issues. Other than that, it was a well maintained and organized shopping mall.

Big shopping centre, with many variety outlets. The atmosphere was good, clean and comfortable place for shopping. The view at the back of this mall was good, good place to enjoy beautiful sunset, after renovation which is made easy to walk and to enjoy the beach view.

This mall is situated in kuta region in Bali near by kuta beach and at the front side of the mall there are multiple restaurants and hotels and nearby souvenir shops, and at the back side there is a beach view. It’s a nice place to visit and spend some time during sunset and you can enjoy lots of music bands and volleyball sports with great ambience.

Left behind, deserted, empty...... those are the impressions I got on my last visit. I felt a bit sad for this mall. Not only Covid but a big hit from the neighbor (and much much better) shopping center -Beachwalk- really take this mall down. In past 90s and early 2000s this is the king of Mall in Kuta, Bali. But everything change and nothing last forever. This is what happened to Discovery. Even though they had the best scenery in Kuta, because they are located in Kuta beach. And the back of the Mall brings you straight to the beach! Cool, right. But like I said, time has changed and I think most tourists prefer to stay on the south coast of Bali which is Canggu area. Not to mention the emerge of Beachwalk mall put Discovery to the end(?) of its era.

Visited here on Saturday, most of the shops are closed and mall is almost empty. Location of the mall great though, I would recommend this for food but for shopping it’s not ready yet. Other side facing kuta beach with beautiful view. I spent evening in Vilo, great place for coffee and snacks. There are small shops like ice cream, juice etc, so it’s a perfect place to enjoy sunset at kuta beach. Would recommend to enjoy food and sunset, but for shopping not yet.

A really nice shopping center close by the beach, has a great departmental store (Sogo) where you can get clothes, bags, luggage, swim wear etc. A few food options are available, a massage place, a pharmacy , also some indoor market style shops selling clothes and assorted Balinese souvenirs (candles, handicraft, soaps), there is a decent toy shop and a payless shoes plus a decent arcade/amusement park setup with a kid play area, game machines and KTV rooms. on the negative, the place lacks food options and missing a supermarket, it was also rather quiet when I was there. I kinda feel its a place catered more to the tourist market. Overall, its a really good place to escape the afternoon heat.

Because the hotel to stay, not far from this mall, at night, we wanted to find food out and arrived at this place. However, the desired food, nothing according to taste. Good mall for shopping. Behind the mall, you can find a good place to get seafood (ocean 360) with a great view of the beach during your lunch. Also, it has a good place for moslem to do some prayer in underground level near the canteen

Conveniently located by Kuta Beach. The mall has direct access to the beach, just behind it. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained but difficult to find as there's barely any signage pointing to it. We had to ask security and concierge for directions. Food is okay. There's a few asian and western restaurants that you can choose from. But I highly suggest their food court in the 4th floor that offers good local food for a good price. And the sellers were friendly and nice too.

Somehow I do feel like this place has a better view of the sunset than any other mall, nice place not too crowded but still a good place to visit if you’re in Bali, especially when in summer, enjoy the vibes

This is the first mall I've actually been into in Asia. There are always so many markets and stores all over It seems kind of superfluous to have a mall🤷🏻‍♂️ But on the other hand it occurs to me that if it rains that would be the only place for everyone to go 🤔 So perhaps it's the rainy day activity of Asia.☔ This mall is quite large and several levels. In the front you actually climb the steps to the second level when you enter. Out the back is the beach level. There are many more delicate and unique things in the mall, items that are less susceptible to the weather I'm guessing.

The Bali Memorial was built to Honor those that died in the Bali Bombing of October 12 2002. It is hard to.imagine the carnage that took place. When you see the development that has taken place since that time it is almost as if it never happened. It's something I will never forget, I was there. Living in Ulladulla area, and knowing the story about the Dunn and Lewis boys, it was a must place to see. It was very moving experience. To see all the 88 Australian names plus the name of people from other country incl. 5 girls from Sweden.

Colors of waters are spectacular. If you want to go bathing it’s not ideal. Big waves, steep entrance. Watching them surf is fun. Behind are really broke down buildings which I didn’t like much. Parking fees are free on base of donation. I have seen it once, wouldn’t come back.

Nice sunset beach. Unfortunately, there are lots of washed rubbish on the beach when we visited tho. The area has a clifftop too which is nice. Beware of swimming in the water by the cliff, the guards said that there were multiple occasions of fatal drownings.

Pretty easy walk down path to this beautiful beach. The first part of the beach you see is 300k for 2 loungers & umbrella. We walked around the big rock and the other side has less crowded area and we rented 2 loungers and one umbrella for 200k. Clean beach with blue and turquoise water. Great beach. Loads of parking, 5k, and good swimming areas as well. Not all rock. Shade disappears after about 12pm, but there are cliff overhangs you can hide under. Not a surfer but looked like a good place to learn as you don’t have to go far out and waves are not too big

An actual DREAM!! Had one of the best swims of my life here. The water is not calm by any means but it was fun to swim through the waves. We also saw a few sea turtles swimming close by. There are also nice picturesque views of the ocean on the cliff by the beach.

First, There’s two access to the beach, in one they charge me 20k and in the other my friends were charged 5k. Second, a beach with so much potential isn’t suitable for bathers because of the huge amount of trash. It’s a pity because it’s a really nice beach with enough place for everyone to have space and enjoy.

Balangan Beach is a perfect place to enjoy the sunset, the water is clean and it has beautiful color gradation minus the cleanliness on the cliff. There is no trash can or it is difficult to find it so, some irresponsible people just leave their rubbish. The waves here are kinda strong and there are a lot of corals and big rocks. You can do kayaking and a lil picnic here while grilling, can also swim but be careful of the strong waves. The beauty of this beach makes some couple do their pre-wedding photos here. The route to here is a bit difficult and remote so, it is recommended to buy some drinks or meals before you arrive here because there's no restaurant or at least warung around the beach. I was lucky because I can enjoy the sunset while eating Lumpiang. I went to this beach a lot but only met this Lumpiang lady once. To enter this place you have to pay the entrance fee of 5k/motorbike. You better go off before it is too dark because the road is really deserted

Sea was perfect. Great little beach with no rubbish washed up on the shore. We had a lovely day on sunbeds. They cost 100k per bed on the public beach which is cheap compared to the prices of the beach club next to them. Would recommend.

Loved this beach. We had to pay 2k IDR upon arrival, which was okay. Beach was pretty empty, definitely not crowded like the one we’ve been before in Jimbaran. Had a nice walk until the far end of the beach, and we got two very comfortable beach beds for 50k IDR in total. The lady who owned the beds was extremely friendly and welcoming. We also got two coconuts for 25k IDR each. They were huge, full with nice sweet coconut water, and with a lot of coconut meat to eat. They were incredibly good. Spent the afternoon there, had an amazing sunset just in front of us. Before leaving, we paid 5k IDR to use the toilet of the nearest warung. It was clean, well kept, locked with a key so only those who pay the fee can use it. It was a great experience altogether. Plus, an amazing spot for Instagram photos!

Usually, the taxi drivers will drop you off at a parking area near the main road, and you will then need to walk about 100 meters down to the beach on a rough road. You can rent beach chairs and umbrellas for about $6 a day each. It’s a fairly nice beach to visit, and a good beach for surfing, but we have definitely visited nicer beaches in Bali. Plan on a late afternoon trip to take in some sun, and eat dinner while watching the sunset.

Nice enough. It had cheap surfing 🏄‍♂️ cheap food 🍱 and a touristy vibe. I would recommend coming in the late afternoon and grabbing some food before enjoying the sunset 🌅 and cooler weather. It gets very hot and there is no shade other than the restaurants. I recommend aqua socks as the ground in the ocean is not sand but a kind of coral/stone/mussel composite and is very uncomfortable to walk on unless you have calloused feet.

A true Bali experience! Local beach great for learning to surf or those more advanced with the bigger barrels in the back set. Make sure to check the tied as it needs to be high enough to learn to surf. We picked this surf shack and were very happy with our experience. They had plenty of boards, water socks and shirts to learn with. Lesson was by the hour and we have to give a big shout out to Blackie for helping us all ride some waves on our first time surfing.

Surf spot! But you can also go there to chill and relax. There are some stores and restaurants that rents Beach umbrellas and chairs. They have plenty of options to have lunch. The beach is open from 07am to 7pm I loved it! The waves were nice for different levels and more open beach. You can have longer walks comparison to other Uluwatu beaches. And the water was so nice here! It’s coral bottom. So I highly recommend you coming here with ocean/water shoes. Without them it’s a little bit complicated. As the same of all Uluwatu beaches, I recommend you coming early if you like spend time in the water. The tide goes down during the afternoon and it’s a little bit more complicated to stay in.

My favorite place in the Bali. Very beautiful. Nice surf spot, suitable for any level. Lots of warungs right by the ocean, beautiful sunsets. You can swim in high and medium tides if you are a confident swimmer and not much pumping.

It’s quite a relaxing place to chill and enjoy the sunset. Bed rental is very cheap. I think it’s was 50k rupiah only. But don’t expect any cocktail or all. They had beers only. But they have fresh young coconut. I saw people came with their dogs. It was beautiful. I didn’t play with water much. I enjoyed the breeze and the view by laying down on the bed

Wide white sand beach on Kuta Selatan's west coast, facing a beautiful view of Badung, Tabanan and Jembrana, and the occasional planes heading in and out of Ngurah Rai to the north. Entry per scooter was Rp10K when I visited, plenty of parking and spots to grab a bite or a cheeky Bintang. Only a few peddlers, but mostly chill and not aggresive. Best times to visit seem to be before 10.00 or after 15.00, especially for those looking to surf as the waves build up during that time.

If you want to stay away from the crowd and have the beach all to yourself, then this is the place for you! It's about 40 mins drive from Kuta center, you can easily take a Grab to get there. You can plan it in the same day as uluwatu temple since it's the same direction. The view is absolutely amazing! Just watch out for some of the rocks, it can be really slippery. I fell very hard on one of them!

The concept of this is very fun and cute, and I wish it was managed better cause I love animals, but I left this activity feeling guilty that I'd participated... There's barely any control over the crowd of literally 300 people taking part from when you get your token to when you get on the beach. Once you've lined up for your token and get called back at 4.30 it's just an uncontrolled free for all of tourists pushing and shoving so they can get a little plastic tub with a baby turtle in it, which you then carry to the beach. I watched some women carrying two or three of these tubs by balancing them on top of each other or on their wrists while they also carried their shopping bags, or tiny kids of 3 or 4 carry them unattended almost dropping them or poking the baby turtles face which was really upsetting. We all lined up at a rope to release our turtles together but there wasn't space for everyone so people had to basically line up behind others. Swimmers and surfers were still hanging out in the water where we were meant to be releasing them. The moment it got really bad was not long after we let them go the organiser of the release encouraged everyone to walk forward from behind the line and watch the turtles run into the sea. With no guidelines or regulation, people were just walking all over the place amongst them. One toddler started throwing sand at one of the turtles and then nearly stood on it, only stopped by his mum when she heard me say to my partner that I nearly watched a baby turtle get crushed and really didn't like this. The one organiser with his megaphone was clearly out of his depth trying to control everyone and started screaming at people to stop touching them, stop picking them up, stop getting too close. At the end he then told everyone to get in the water with them to watch them swim but me and my partner just left. If I'd have known this was going to be what I saw I wouldn't have made a donation or encouraged this kind of "conservation" tourism by attending

I've followed this organisation for years an unlike some other places which keep turtles for months in small pools until people pay to release, they release turtles 24 hours after hatching. No touching. And it's donation only. They do great work. Of course there will be a lot of. People as usually hundreds of turtles to Release but if they left them in the nests on kuta beach they would NOT survive. Great work

Check their instagram before you go. They post the release dates there. There was no turtle release on the day we went. We went there at 5 no one was there. They did show up later in the night. The guy was helpful and explained how things worked. They have a donation box.

It has the potential to be 4/5 stars. However, humans. They all crossed the line we were not meant to cross. I do suggest doing it in two batches, so there are less of us, also less chance of them getting stepped on, and more room for the turtles to crawl to the ocean. Plus, there were far too many people who were just watching, and as the turtles were very eager to leave, mine almost fell out of the container because there were too many people standing at the release point. So, less people = more stars.

Absolutely amazing experience and so lucky to arrive at the right time when the turtles were being released. We came the night before to see and then the next morning to buy a token & release. It was extremely busy so come early!! We named ours Lucky! 💙🐢 it’s by donation, but pay as much as you can to keep this organisation going!

Definitely a must if your an animal lover or in the area. Really enjoyed releasing a baby sea turtle. That day 300 of them were released! Just keep an eye on their Facebook page as that’s where they announce it. It’s free, but of course you can donate. Tokens are given from 16:00, was a bit earlier in our case. They tell you how to release the baby turtle. So you get in line, get a baby sea turtle in a container with a bit of water and make your way to the beach. Everyone gets in line to get ready to start the sea turtle race. It’s so cute to see it.

Loved it! Really fun and meaningful thing to do that's unique to the place. You'll need to get there immediately after the Facebook announcement to queue for a 'turtle ticket'. After that collect your turtle and head to the beach. There'll be staff to guide you to where to stand to release the turtles, and you'll release it at their signal (after they clear the beach so your fella has a greater chance of getting out there!) Great for kids, just careful not to drop the turtle, avoid touching the turtle and most of all, follow instructions! You want to save the turtle not hurt them!

The best experience ran by lovely people. The sanctuary runs on donations so please donate as much as you can if you come here!

Do NOT support this “conservation” organization. We just went to do a seemingly fun activity and watch some cute turtles get released but I am sad to say we got involved in something much more sad. About 450 people get a turtle including children and line up along a long rope by the water. Then after a long time in the sun eventually they megaphone to release the turtles but too many people were along the line so many people were behind the line with their turtles and released them later than when they said “go”. So after watching children poke the turtles (not allowed to touch the turtles it’s very dangerous for them!) and stupid adults and put sand on them. Then after we released them very quickly the megaphone person told people to keep moving up closer to the turtles which were getting washed back at us so people could easily step on them while at the same time many many turtles were still not released. They then wanted people to get into the water with the turtles still getting into the water and we saw children jumping up and down in the water definitely leading to hurting some of the turtles which you can’t see under the water. Overall I regret doing this sad release and I wish I knew how horribly organized it would be. DO NOT GO and do not give money you will see how sad it is.

First time visit was during peak season and boy! The trafic queue to get to the mall was so long! It’s a semi outdoor mall, so it does get a little bit hot and stuffy, but they have nice complete shops like Uniqlo, HnM, etc so I am content. Didn’t spend too much time here since I was strolling alone, but don’t forget to get some tasty breads on Tours Les Jours on the ground floor, I love them!

Shopping center that place at strategic point. Even though located at the main business area however since the pandemic some changes can be found there. Some brand that I usually use can't found anymore there. But this change makes potential visitor always curious to come to this place without losing previous customers

We were there last sunday around 4pm. The mall was crowded. The weather outside was terribly hot so i was hoping to cool down inside the mall but to my surprise it was also hot inside despite being an airconditioned mall. Cigarette smoke from the open eating area and where children play was dreadful you can even smell it too inside the mall. Small and traffic parking space, our grab car took 5-10minutes and alot of turns within the mall compound just to be able to get out. Lots of international brands though.

The mall is reopen after months of PPKM. You need to install PeduliLindungi apps and must check in everytime entering the mall. Childer under the age of 12 are still not permitted to enter. This mall also has VIP parking and only cost extra Rp.10.000 rupiah.

January 2024 Large 3 (?) storey departmental story shopping centre. Plenty of food stores but we couldn’t find hamburgers, only pizza options. It would be nice if the food section area was all air conditioned and not so outdoors. Lots of different stores to wander including hyper mart, Uniqlo, Birkenstocks, Pizza Hut and even cinemas.

A nice mall for having a leisure in here. Some of famous brands also have their outlet in here with nice selection of restaurants too. Of course, you can watching movie in here with XII as the cinema. Arrive earlier if you want to have a good parking spot

The mall quite cozy for hangout, the had outdoor space for chillin’. For the kids entertainment, they have ice rink, play & learn playground, timezone & train.

Best mall/plaza at Bali, I think. Has a great variety of shops. I love the J-Co here. Parking can be full if you are not here early but I have found there is always something available even for the moto. Getting a driver to bring you is the easiest and there is 2 drop off points. Telkomsel is here and has an ATM for account top up.

The mall we always visit when in Denpasar. Even though it has been around for a long time, the attraction of this mall has never faded even though many new malls have appeared. This mall has an open space in the middle. In the open space, we can find various interesting food and drink shops. The only downside to this mall is the convoluted car park exit route.

Not very big with only two levels but decent dining area, sensible range of shops to shol from, and a good kids play centre. Overall I was impressed by bali standards, and this place probably was either my first or second choice to go to. The other one being beach walk. Also a timezone here which was also decent in game selection.

Fine. Nice place to visit, however I'm at the telkomsel shop registering my phone again, its like waiting at the doctors, with security thats way overkill, photo name reason etc, excessive , always people waiting so if you go here don't expect to be in and out in 10 minutes. Staff are well informed and very pleasant, but its a bank/doctor type atmosphere.

It is always very fun for me when I come here and last time there was DinoLand for kids so perfect for Family Outing and many Restaurants to choose from! Even my favorite bakso Afung is there hehe It is nice because it is outdoor and indoor and semi ECO Friendly. Please keep it that way so not destroying Bali and whole of Indonesia. Keep it simple! One stop shopping located at bypass Ngurah Rai Denpasar. Lots of paid parking places, easy acces from the main road bypass Ngurah Rai. High end to branded fashions are available here. Fashionable restaurants and cafes are also easely can be found here. The mall is very famous among foreign tourists for that they already familiar with the brands for many years in their own countries. Many souvenir shops selling spa products and traditional fabrics as well as well known brands for children are also available. The mall is also offered outdoor restaurant setting with mini train going around among tables to entertain children while the parents enjoy their meals. Enjoy your sightseeing at Bali Galeria mall!

Great outdoor waterpark for kids having fun in a quite small area. Lap pool, various slides, open space garden with surrounded by coconut trees. Equipped with enough amenities and supporting facilities such as locker, gazebo, food court, shower, internet corner, and lounge. Water is never clear in spite of regular maintenance. It's always foggy and sometimes little green. Signs of lack of proper water treatment. Price is considered cheap even to local people.

Took my 3 and 6 yo kids here. They're having fun. But food here were far from what they offer from catalogue pic. Taste alright, small portion for the price we pay.. but overall it's fine as long as my kids happy and had a great day..

No safety standards on the "slides". Only 2 lifeguards present on sunday morning where there's tons of family with little kids visiting. "Slides" doesn't have enough water so it doesn't really slides. Slippery pathways because of mold. Not enough attractions for the price of admission. There's not even enough floaties for everyone

The park is amazing if they can maintain the water cleanliness. Facilities- kids zone is great. Food court not enough time to try. Staff is excellent

Had a reasonable experience. The park is definitely a budget version of Waterbom. You must pay each time you want to open your locker, and all the extras are charged for (towels, lockers, sun chairs etc.) We ended up putting our stuff in the food court as there is no other free seating. Half the slides are good, half don't have enough water so it becomes a game of shuffling along, great if you have a sense of humour, but not something I'd recommend to my friends. The safety is lacking compared to Waterbom; the maintenance hatch was open all day (a porthole with a 3 metre drop; no safety barracade) and heights of children are ignored for safety (can be good or bad depending on your views). Deafening music was blasted for the first half an hour which almost made us leave, but then the DJ changed and it became far more pleasant. My children (1 and 4) did have a great time and want to go back, so it was a good day, but I don't think I would recommend this to others given the current state of the place, both from a safety and management point of view.

I thought it was just a little store, in fact it was a 5 stories building with lots of fashion collections. From kids to adults. Men and women, casual, sports, formal, you name it. It has basement parking lot, not too huge but enough since most of it's visitors are pedestrians. It also has its own food court.

Air Con is up HIGH here. Multi level Dept Store with a big Supermarket connected on the ground floor. All fixed price items on clothes, souvenirs, household products, electronics, everything you need. Money exchange. Helpful staff.

Good place to find clothes, shoes, gifts, souvenirs. Big store. Good service. Just a bit expensive if you compare to smaller stores around.

Matahari kuta square ground floor are selling art and souvernir such as key chain, table and wall deciration and etc for tourist with fixed price than no need to bargain, upper floor is a normal dept store who sell cloth, cosmetic aand others

Great multi level department store in the heart of Kuta. Has a wide range of clothing, underwear, shoes, bags and accessories that are good quality. Great range of cosmetics (including big names like Revlon) at cheaper prices than Australia.

Skechers store is good , but other products was lokal size, average not bad at all

Location of this Catholic Church is at Jln Kartika Plaza. Which is very convenient as it’s at Kuta district. They have several mass on Sunday. Service by wardens were excellent. Mass are conducted in air conditioning environment. I highly recommend this church.

Very beautiful place, near center of attraction (Kuta Beach). Its comforting and quiet place to pray. There are always space in this church. It has spacious parking space. However, the toilet needs a maintenance, dirty and smelly. Male toilet is fine, Female toilet is bad.

A modern, but beautifully designed Roman Catholic church dedicated to St Francis Xavier. Spacious... Truly beautiful & holy. We were privileged to visit and pray during our vacation to Bali. Highly recommended. The local catholics will help you out to find the way.

In front of Lippo Mall Kuta. This Catholic church has a fairly large parking area. The elderly may feel uncomfortable when climbing the fairly high stairs to reach the church entrance.

A nice church with aircon located in the smacking center of Kuta really close to the beach. They hold English masses on weekends and not many Catholic Churches in Bali do. If you are staying in the area, do drop by for their masses. However, if you are not staying or living around Kuta, the traffic around this area may be quite severe so allow yourself plenty of travel time.

Went here with my family on Aug 14th, 2022....thank you for having us the chance to experience Sunday Mass without complicated procedure (Covid). Nice church.

Must visit when come here is Cave of The Virgin Mary. The ambience were holy you can take your time to pray and enjoy the silence

Beautiful church on the main drag of Kuta beach but very disappointed by behaviour of ushers who made sure I didn’t even step into the church…. As a Christian and devout Catholic I am certain god would not turn anyone away even if they are in shorts and a tank top to run and just was lucky enough to find mass starting

Beautiful Church in Kuta..Mass service was also very nice..The parishioners are very welcoming.The church is opposite Lippo Mall in Kuta. Couple of points to note when coming for mass here 1. English mass in only on Sunday at 6pm..All other masses on weekdays and weekends are in Bahese 2. Shorts (for men and women), Thongs or flip flps, sleeveless t-shirts for men and women are not permitted in. They were providing sarongs for men and women outside church in case shorts were worn and the recommend getting a shawl to cover sleveless tops.

This is an absolutely beautiful Church in Kuta Bali. We visited on a weekday, the Church was open to visitors so if you want to visit and pray during the day it is open and it looks so beautiful. The best thing that we found out was that they have a special English Mass every Sunday at 6 pm. We attended this mass and I have to say the best experience of my trip to Bali coz mass was so beautiful and the choir was even more beautiful, they sang amazingly well.

Beautiful Catholic church in the middle of Kuta tourist strip. Sunday English mass at 6pm was beautifully celebrated with choir and a good message on how Jesus was willing to heal the leper, and how we should also care for the 'lepers' among us and not neglect/ostracise others. A thriving parish.

this place was my fave choice for branded quality items with great prices, all you need is good eye and lot of times to check all those items, and you could find great things all branded, but sadly after this pandemic, this store looks like will be close soon because i saw lot of empty racks in the corner, empty parking area, so with all the quality items, hope they will find a way to keep their business

They sell good quality clothes, bags and shoes with reasonable price, they also have spa and restaurants. I bring my bahrain guests here and they were like didn't want to come out. Nice

...factory outlet, branded clothes with competitive price, close to Kuta/Legian/Seminyak. Resto and spa also provided and not too crowded. If you patient and lucky, you cab find good stuffs with low price. Wanna try???

This place was OK. Not a lot of area to park in very busy area down there, when you go in there is a bunch of workers, but if you don’t ask them questions, they won’t ask you if you’re finding everything. OK, the bags are relatively cheap, but the selection is very limited when it comes to the men clothes upstairs there’s a lot to choose from, but nothing really caught my eye for the price they’re asking.

It's ok, most of the the really good shirts are small or medium so if your a normal sized western guy ( L or XL) you might be out of luck on the better stuff. If your a small guy you got all the choice in the world. Seems like a mix of original (real) and knockoffs, but still kinda cool if you can find your size
