I have seen terraced field in many places across japan and other countries, but this place is especially magical because you it is on the coast.

Absolutely worth a visit on your drive along the peninsula. It may be tempting to stay up top and skip the walk down the (very) steep hill to the sea but the views are worth make it worth it. The little shop but the parking also has lots of snacks including some fat onigiri.

I visited the place in February so its kind of cold and the light up starts at 7 pm didn’t see the light up but it was a very nice place. I will definitely visit again in summer to see the light up. There is a big shop where you can enjoy your ice cream or coffee. They have some souvenirs in the shop and the rest room is big and clean.

I got some presumption before to visit this places. There are so many photos or advertisements about this place. It’s still a beautiful place to visit but just not as spectacular as I would expect.

When I came here, out of the entire street, there were only 5 shops that was open. I don't know why the shops were not open at that time. (I came here on a Friday) I found this shop that was selling a variety of food, from beef sushi to pizzas. I ended up having the pork bun and it was good in my opinion. PS - I wouldn't recommend eating on the street, as there are hawks watching over and they will snatch your food in a blink of an eye. Just eat in a closed area.

Stopping by the Wajima Morning Market was a great decision during our Noto trip. The vendors were all very nice and we found a lot of interesting and delicious items sold at the market.

My family and I joined the Wajima Go day trip through Hokutetsu. Wajima Morning Market is our first stop. It is very unique and interesting. Most of the vendors sell processed seafood and products rather than fresh food. You will notice there’s a lot of females running the business. The tour guide told us you don’t usually get to negotiate with the price, but it’s better (or okay) to ask for “extras.” For example, you pay ¥1000 for seaweed. Obviously fewer sellers were on d street in a cold winter Tuesday morning but those unties were full of energy and fun to talk to. You can or they will bargain with you. There's a BBQ pit (Japanese style) located in approx d centre of d street where you can charcoal grill your purchased fish. We had 3 small pieces of famous Nodoguro and blowfish and one large piece of Hachime at 1500yen - all sun-dried and flavoured. Great deal! You can also buy hot Japanese sake at 100yen to go with d bbq.

We were all by ourselves at this amazing display of a local specialty. We felt that if this display was presented at a European museum, you had to book your tickets weeks in advance.
