To enter this theme park, you need to go up some serious long stairs. So it’s challenging for the disabled and elderly and an escalator or elevator would be nice. The theme park consists out of different areas with landmarks and historical monuments from all around the world and it does take some time to visit them all. Best to follow the trail the theme park has plotted out. When I was there some attractions are being renovated and could not visit them.

It’s expensive due to tourist attraction place (park) and with self service in the restaurant pick up food from outside store. It’s okay but the number didn’t give to us. The bill receipt didn’t give to us and when collect food at the stall get scold from the staff n keep asking number and receipt. When drinks was serve only realised they made wrong order for us . Is okkkk too.. When come back to the cashier ask from receipt but she ask me back what is your table number while there is no number on the table, no tag number given too. Omygodness. Huge amusement theme park in Shenzhen and is one of the good place to visit in Shenzhen. Basically you can spend whole day here to visit all place. You can check out all kind of monuments, buildings, cultural heritage points from all over the world. They are built to be as the original but just a a smaller scale. There are few nice restaurants inside here too. The park is divided into few sections mainly by continent.

To build somewhere like Window of the World is a good idea. They specified numbers of historical and iconic building from all over the world and they build their copies about 1/3 in size. You can find The Eiffel Tower, Louvre Pyramid, Notre Dame Cathedral, The Colosseum, Pisa Tower, Stonehenge, Taj Mahal, Sydney Opera House, The Lighthouse of Alexandria, Niagara Falls, The Amazon rainforest, The Grand Canyon of Arizona, The Pyramids and Sphinx of Giza, and Hagia Sophia of Istanbul, Turkey.

This is one of the best and most interesting attractions in Shenzhen 😍 The park has a representation of almost major monument and important landmarks of the world. Walking in this park is like traveling to many countries and it offers the opportunity to learn a little bit about the culture and people. Depending of how curious you are, you might be there for 4 to 6 hours… I was like 6 because everything was so interesting and beautiful to me. The park is awesome and well maintained, I Trully recommend it because is fun, interesting and perfect for the entire family!

The window of the World. This is a popular and big theme park you can visit in Shenzhen. Most of the tourists come to this place on the first day before continuing their other programs. You can find an Eifel Tower of Paris, Spink from Egypt, Alpen of Switzerland and other wonders of the world. Not only to be seen but in someplace there're games you can play on, such as at the Alpen they create a snow hill you can climb on and from there you can ride a snowboard down or sit on rubber wheel. Many more things you can see and do with the attractive spots. It takes 2 up to 4 hours to see all attractions and sites. Then you can enjoy your lunch at one of the Chinese restaurants or following your tour operator. Your morning tour program ended at lunchtime then you have free time to visit the art pavilions, souvenir shops, and take a walk inside the large garden while waiting for another evening show. Around 16:00 in the afternoon visitors are invited to come to the Cultural Village to see Cultural show performances, I saw many things there such as speed horse riding, acrobatic, and many others shows. At 19:00 there's a wonderful gala show, the beautiful artists representing all Chinese Tribes wearing their traditional costume, play music instruments, they dance, sing and moves under the thousand colors light. During the show no photograph or video is allowed to be taken, some officer will come to your chair to stop you, but if you take just one or two pictures at a certain time they will let you do. The performance ended with the parade of all artists. Luckily at the end of the show, audiences can approach the lines of the artist and take pictures there.

I've traveled to Luohu for many years and always wondered why it's not more of a wholesale hub for small business. It seems that change may be afoot in light of the strong policing of TM goods. I feel this will be a positive change to this commercial centre. I actually visited Luohu the first time thinking I could find products for my business. This would not have been possible had I not met Darren who has assisted in sourcing many products for my business over the years. You can find Darren in shop 2054. It's always a good idea to contact him on WeChat ID mrdbiz if you are planning to visit. Darren and Ivy (WeChat ID alelemingpin) also have a very good reputation for selling the best quality reps, but you will need to make advance contact to buy. It will save time and you will get exactly what you want safely.

Found a great shop for leather on 4th floor, shop 4077. They had the best range and quality and very easy to deal with. You can contact Ivy on WeChat ID alelemingpin to check her range ahead of time. This shop is fantastic. Ignore people trying to lure you into shops, they are not very nice people. Also found Shop 4099 and bought usb towers, speakers, headphones and a drone for a very good price. Thousands of shops there, but all the others I went to didn't feel nice .. these people were really nice and spoke good english. Prices are about 40% less than same products online with quality you can trust. Karen in shop 4098 is a fantastic tailor. Hubby had 2 suits and 5 shirts made, all perfectly fitted and ready within the week. Great value and beautiful quality fabric.

With the opening of a myriad of shopping malls in and around the nearby Dongmen area, this mall has lost its charm. The shops here don't have much to offer in terms of the latest either and expect a lot of transit crowd going in and out of Hong Kong.

Old style indoor multi-floor market of all kinds of products. Exciting for Western tourists on their first visit to Asia, who believe they get a bargain while actually paying more than in a decent shop elsewhere. Unpleasant atmosphere as all hawkers play all tricks to lure you into their shops. Full of touts who stick to visitors, promises to bring you to a shop with best prices and you end up paying double. This place is a relic of cheap poor China from the last century. Avoid it.

Most shops in this infamous shopping mall have reopened after lockdown. Most are still selling faked merchandise, plus some offering pedicure/massage services. Customer traffic is much lower than before.

A shopping complex that can satisfy most Hong Kong tourists. Tailors, spectacles, curtains, sneakers, toys, banks, long distance buses, fake watches, massage services and nail decorations etc.... You can spend a whole day there.

Huge variety of fake handbags, watches and many other products to shop. In addition there are mane jade, jewellery and accessory shops too. However, to shop here, you need to be thick skin and be bold to fan off all the haggling by the shopkeepers. They are very persistent, but other than that, you could get yourself some nice items at good prices if yup bargain hard and right. Certainly a nice shopping centre to visit and experience in Luohu.

Less crowded than before. Seems like hundreds of massage / nail shops. Toilet's are clean. I found only one dentist at GF level but they didn't speak English. Lot's of good deals for prescription glasses they can finish within an hour for HK$500 or less.

An unusual experience with Chinese painters. A place with a huge number of selling galleries of paintings and sculptures mostly made as copies of original world-famous paintings. I bought an original watercolor painting in a gallery, I didn't want a copy of a famous work, but there is enough of everything! The place itself has a positive spirit and perhaps in my opinion one of the most important places to visit in Shenzhen, and of course, if you are a lover of paintings and art, you will not regret it.

Dafen is a really interesting area to visit. Seeing painters replicate the classic arts we've come to appreciate, replica is almost its own form of expression. I wonder what the artists, many of which did not get to see their success, would think of this.

Interesting place to go and walk around even for someone who's not particularly interested in art, like me. I was kicking myself that I hadn't been more organised and sorted out a family photo to get turned into a painting as it would have made a nice gift and this is apparently a great place to get high quality and affordable work. Beside the village there's also an art museum and some nice local restaurants and cafes.

I was looking for a souvenir for a friend to take home and came up with the idea of asking around for people who can paint caricatures (讽刺的漫画). I got an "alright" caricature at the end but I was hoping the artist would exaggerate even more.

Dafen (Chinese: 大芬; pinyin: Dàfēn) is a suburb of Buji, Longgang, Shenzhen in Guangdong province, China. In the early 1990s a group of about twenty artists under the leadership of the painter and businessman Huang Jiang took up residence in this town. They specialised in the making of large numbers of replicas of oil paintings by masters such as Van Gogh, Dalí, da Vinci, Rembrandt or Warhol. These replicas were sold in many countries for relatively low prices. The endeavor was quite successful and the demand for replicas increased. In order to fulfill the demand more and more artists took up residence and started to make a living, the estimate (2006) being in the thousands. Many of the artists are trained at art academies in the required techniques and produce dozens of replicas daily. The official policy states that these replicas are of paintings of artists who have died more than seventy years ago and consequently out of copyright. An obvious exception to this would be Andy Warhol (cited above) who died in 1987, and Dalí, who died in 1989. The only requirement is that it is made clear that these paintings are replicas. Really cool place for those who are into painting and art stuff. The village has a great art gallery, absolutely worth visiting, since it displays different exhibitions regularly. In the village, there are some nice shops for painters and of course the painters themselves, whose work is being done in front of you and you can spend hours observing the masterpieces of the world art being replicated. there is a nice shopping mall near the village with plenty of spots to eat. + the whole thing is very close to the metro station

A beautiful tropical oasis in the centre of Shenzhen. Perfect for a late Sunday morning stroll to the top from the north side (Lianhua North Metro station) and back down the steps to the Children's palace station.

The park is big. Walking path is good and also got some exercise facilities for adults and playground for children. It’s relaxing.

It takes about half an hour walk from the bottom to the peak. You'll have a great view of the Shenzhen Children Palace area, with tons of skyscrapers in the sight. The park has organized flowers exhibition sometimes. Parents with young children can enjoy a wonderful weekend there.

Great place if you want a forest inside the busy city. You can walk around and even has facility for boating. You could even have a great view of the city from the view point on the top. Great place for and evening walk or jog.

One of the most beautiful parks in shenzhen. Beautiful view on all sides. On one side is the beautiful city, skyscrapers, lighting everywhere and on the other side is the silent ocean and far away view of Hong Kong. I went there at around 7 pm and it was the most peaceful and relaxing experience of the day. People were exercising, cycling,playing . Overall a lively and wonderful experience.

Nice place to spent some summer and winter time. However, the beach could be closed during winter but you can enjoy walking around and enjoying a chot tea and coffee. You can take the bus from shenzhen city center and arrive to dameisha in less than 1 h. Pretty convenient and cheap. I highly recommend it!!

One of the oldest shopping mall in Futian CBD, it’s convenient with Subway connected. Plenty of restaurants and bars which operate until midnight. There is a restaurant called Lon food which use fresh ingredients from nearby farm. Highly recommended.

Great place to shop, eat and drink. They have lots of brands including international brands. They also have places that kids can play which is very impressive from a shopping mall. Very clean and nicely spaced. There can be a lot of people but it does not feel crowded. I always come here whenever I am in town.

Traveling from Hong Kong to Shenzhen, I decided as I was heading towards Futian station that I could spend an hour here, Shopping MTR center. Unlike HK, here you've got space, big mall, amazing restaurant choices, cafes to enjoy pastries, shop for a car if you want a Tesla, jungle gyms, tons of local and International retail brands, followed by amazing Chinese food across many regions (Chengdu, Anhui, Sichuan...) and food options across the world (Pizza, Italian, Vietnamese, Korean BBQ - and more!). I just want to stay here and enjoy a couple more hours, but unfortunately I have to return home.

Great spot for restaurants and bars downtown near Ping An Tower. Restaurants of all different types on 4 floors with indoor and outdoor tables depending on the place. The good restaurants are normally quite busy so expect some waits for a table.

One of the largest shopping malls in the district with various international brands. Lots of restaurants with family cusines and play area for children.

Not a new place for shopping in the very rapid growing Shenzhen. However, Coco park maintains high standards and moves with time, to stay relevant. I had a very good time here, spending a day to browse and shop. It is connected with meetro line 4 and 1, both can take you to different custom immigration for going to Hong Kong.

My hostel was quite near here so I enjoyed looking at the outside of this tower and enjoying the light patterns dancing along it each night but this review is mostly of the bar at the top. When you want to visit the bar you go to the inquiry desks at the ground floor and they'll tell you your options. The bar has a minimum charge (I think it was 200 RMB) which you pay at the bottom and they give you a voucher to take up. When you settle the final bill they'll subtract the value of the voucher and you pay the balance, if there is any. Keep in mind that taxes and service charges aren't included in the menu so if you're trying to calculate what to order to reach the voucher value then you'll need to take the taxes into account. Service was great and no complaints about the food or drinks. Obviously they are expensive but I can imagine them being a lot more expensive given that you're enjoying them at the top of this amazing tower. The views from the bar actually aren't quite as good as at the restaurant on the next level down so that might actually be better option. Either way, they don't mind you stopping off on that level to take a look (provided you've paid your voucher of course). A French guy that works there started chatting to me and said that the view is really good for sunset which had been my original plan to enjoy but I ended up getting there late and missed it.

Kingkey Finance Tower it is a massive skyscraper. Great views from 96th floor. To have a drink at the bar near the top you have to arrange it downstairs through a voucher you're obliged to buy

Well organised and huge

Good enough for most kinds of exhibition, the shopping mall nearby serves good food. However, the Metro in China is terrible.

Really beautiful for a one-day hiking activity. Total is about 17km to and fro from the main gate to the peak. The last 1km was very steep for me but luckily managed to complete.

It's easy to get to Wutong Village to start the hike up the mountain. Take the 211 from Luohu or the M445 from Huangbeiling exit D. If you take the 211 it stops in the village and you can find the slow road up the mountain by following the main road through the village. The M445 will take you close to the reservoir where the challenging hikes begin. If you get the AMap app it has the trails on the map and they are easy to work out. It is a popular hike so start early if you wish to avoid the crowds. There is an impressive view from the top, but if it is the weekend you will probably encounter a band on the mountain top! Chinese people mostly have no sense of the peace and tranquility of hiking and you will often encounter people hiking playing loud music. So be prepared if that is a problem for you!

I'll update this review with more information when I get back to the US. Take bus 211 from Shenzhen all the way to the end. It will leave you in Wukong village. Walk for 10 minutes to the Wukong Northwest Gate (search it on Google maps, or use Google maps to just head to the only road appearing to go into the mountain). The hike consists of a 3 to 4 mile incline walk on a paved road that zig zags up the mountain. There are several overlook areas. The maps posted along the trail are all in Chinese and in questionable condition, but keep heading for the mark that says "943.7" as that is the highest peak to get to. Eventually you will get to a plaza at which point you can start the final ascent right next to the toilets, or veer to the left more and take a short path (10 minutes) to another place you can ascend. Both lead to the same place. There are some vendors selling foodstuffs along the way up, as well as on the peak, and plenty of toilets. This is definitely a full day hike. I got on the bus at 9:15 am, started the climb around 10:15, and reached the summit at 12:30. By the time I ate lunch, descended (with a few longer stops) and had a snack it was 4 pm. I'm also a relatively quick walker / climber.

I hiked this place once a week for over a year 2015-2016. This is the best preserved environment in the area, as if you take the trail from saddle down the south side of the mountain it is possible to encounter no one or only a few people. The saddle is high enough to stick into the clouds. If it wasn't for WuTongShan I wouldn't have stayed in Shenzhen as long as I did. Looking at the map I can tell you the trails are not labeled correctly on Google. The satellite view is also outdated. I used to make videos here and used these as classroom resources to teach English and environmental awareness. In April-May look out for small red mountain crabs on the trail.

A beautiful hike with stunning views and not too many people. However, be prepared for many ignorant people blaring their music on their phones pr even speaker phones (I won't specifically say "who"). Apart from that, listening to the noise coming from other people's phones and some places with trash strewn everywhere (most of it was clean), I really enjoyed the hike and recommend you do it too!

A really nice park to walk around or ride a bike. The place is easily reachable by Metro at the Shenzhen Bay Park station. Great place to chill with your family and friends, also good for photos. Strongly recommend.

One of best place to spend the time from busy city life. It’s open to all and doesn’t require any entry fee. This park is safe to all. At night, security guards are observing this area as it’s closed to Hong Kong boarder.

This hotel lift very small and slow. Room ok quite spacious but toilet only got one side door, if you shower you cannot use toilet (door is close on the bathroom side) Worst thing is inside the bathroom NO hook to hang clothes, so after shower you have to bare body come out then wear your clothes. There's no wardrobe to hang clothes only have the hook on the wall. The breakfast spread very limited, they served bread WITHOUT BUTTER. Oh man, how can you serve bread without butter. Also many taxi drivers don't know this location.

Shenzhen zoo was a great day out. The animals seemed in good health and had good enclosures. The big cat safari was the highlight, be warned you get VERY close to the animals. There are all gift outlets throughout the zoo, there is no big shop. The children's play area looked fun. For a few RMB you can feed many of the animals. The pandas were very entertaining. There were shows through the day sadly I did not have time to see any so cannot comment. Certainly one of the best tourist activities in Shenzhen

A huge zoo with over 1000 animals like Lions, Tigers, Monkeys, Penguins and many more. There is also a kids playground and donkey carts for rent and transport around the zoo. There is also a bus service inside the zoo , and you can have a hop-on-hop-off ride around the park for RMB 20. At the wild animals corner, you can feed the Lions , bears , tigers and hybrids called Ligers from a metal car. It's a scary but thrilling experience, and this zoo is definitely worth a visit!
