This is a cool place with a great view! Annoyingly people fly drones around which spoils the atmosphere. But if you at sunset you can see it in the day and then lit up at night which is beautiful. There is nothing inside, but you can walk around and there are meditation spaces too. They have a dress code of shoulders, belly and knees covered so make sure you’re dressed appropriately. The views over the bay are wonderful too. I recommend spending about 15 min here.

We managed to make it to the bottom of the hill until we had to call a taxi to take us to the top. The hill is very steep and would take a very long time to walk up. Alternatively, you can also take a quad bike up the hill as well. You also pass a tiger park on the way up which allows you to touch the tigers. The view from the top of the mountain was gorgeous, but the clothing standards for women is very strict. LADIES, TAKE A SHAWL AND A LONG SKIRT OR TROUSERS TO YOUR ANKLES to cover all your skin. Otherwise they will make you buy a substitute. This clothing standard does not apply to men. You can get blessed by a monk and there are special places for people to sit and mediate. It was a centring experience despite there being many tourists.

Awesome place, deffo worth to give it a visit. The feeling the temple gives is super peaceful and I had great fun visiting it. The climb up the stairs might have been a little uncomfortable, considering the weather conditions when I visited. There was some real interesting and informing material all around the place, especially down in the temple. Also got blessed by a monk.

A serene experience. The view from the top is amazing and the giant statue makes you feel humbled and privileged to be here. The drive to the top has some amazing scenery and let's you experience Thailand in all its beauty. We took a scooter to the top and that was great fun. I really loved seeing the monks. That was awesome.

After a long hike (or a quick buggy/motorbike/car ride), which takes you along a windy uphill road, bringing you along cafes with incredible views, you arrive at the Big Buddha. Climb some more steps to get to the top - and you’re there. The statue is much bigger than expected and is fascinating to look at. There are several interesting signs that explain the history of it, provide background facts, more signs that tell you about Buddhism etc. So if you’re in for it, you can even learn something while you’re here. Descending again, you’re led through a prayer room where monks offer a sit down praying session for free. Outside, there’s also a 7-minute meditation session. Really enjoyed all of it. Views are incredible on a sunny and clear day.

The Big Buddha in Phuket is a breathtaking attraction that captivates with its majestic presence. The colossal statue, standing at 45 meters tall, offers stunning panoramic views of the island. A must-visit destination. However, be prepared for crowds during peak hours and watch out for monkeys 🐒that like to steal your wallet 😁

It's a nice place to look at scenery from but it's half-finished, probably due to COVID-19, so lots of rough edges. Quite literally in fact for the steps and pathways which are still rocky and jagged in places. I think the sculptor didn't quite get the face of Buddha right though cos he has a quirky expression on his face that you won't find anywhere else in the world. Probably worth seeing just for that, I suppose.

Get blessings from the monk, make donations, send blessing and requests… other than all the Buddhism goodness, it is quite cooling in shaded areas as it’s on a mountain top. Although parts of the Big Buddha is still under restoration work, it’s the best time to donate and add a marble tile, I’ve made wishes in 2019 and life has been much better even during COViD period. Now I’m back for thanksgiving and to strengthen the faith. Though I’m non-Buddhist. The viewpoint here of all the island … is amazing!!! Very nice for photo taking too!!!

We attended in low season and it was raining so we did not get the viewings but big Buddha is stunning and impressive nonetheless. It’s free to visit (I know some tours say access to big Buddha is included in their price which is cheeky of them). The only thing that stops it being a five is the lack of information or history to read. We did not have a guide and they didn’t offer a guided tour on site. We googled in the hotel later. Apparently there are “bad monkeys” here which still but we did not see any. Perhaps because it was raining.

Big Buddha Phuket is an absolute gem, especially at sunset - the sight is breathtaking! It's a serene and peaceful spot, ideal for spending quality time. Proper attire is a must, but ladies can rent appropriate dresses on-site. Surprisingly, there's no entry fee, making it accessible for all to enjoy this remarkable site.

Views were beautiful, the surroundings around Buddha wasn't perfect, many constructions, but it's fine. Free entrance, free toilets. A lot of monkeys around. Be aware of them, instantly snatch any food or drink you have. Be aware of taxi mafia, we came up with inDrive (taxi app) for 200 baht, but couldn't find anything who would bring us back down (taxis can't come there, only the local ones), the ones at the place asks 800baht to get you to old town. 😂 we ended up going down the mountain 2km by foot thought forest.

This is a beautiful religious temple so please be respectful of the dress code before you come and enjoy this spiritual place. The views of the bay and surrounding area are spectacular. Please be aware of the monkeys as they are aggressive and will steal anything you are not holding on to. They are fun to watch.

Arriving at the Big Buddha on a bike was already a delightful experience for me. The winding road leading to the Buddha was incredibly scenic, surrounded by lush trees, and offered glimpses of monkeys and elephants available for rides at a fee offered by locals. There's ample parking near the Big Buddha. I rate the panoramic view of Phuket from the Big Buddha site as the highest highlight. The view is truly mesmerizing, providing a sweeping sight of almost the entire island. However, one downside is the evident need for some restoration in certain areas; many sculptures seem old and in need of care.

A must visit when visiting to Phuket. It has such good vibes and peace there. The location is at an high altitude and the whole city can be seen from there. There are breathtaking views along with constant breeze. The architecture of it is also great with whole white finish marble. There are multiple small shops, places along with itself.

The Big Buddha is impressive in size, with wonderful views from the observation deck. Parking and toilets are free. There are several stalls with drinks, and even clothes. Shoulders and legs should be covered. You can also buy a skirt and a scarf on your shoulders there for 100-150 baht.

Is so amazing place is only restricted so cannot go with shirts ,bikini or empty arms . All bidy need have full t-shirt👕 , long shorts or full skirts or dress hide all body. Is security guard there they check people what they wear. People with don't respected this restriction don't be let in

Our trip to the Big Buddha was stunning! The attraction was not just for Buddhists but a serene and breathtaking view, whether you were looking at the Buddha or away from it. There were interesting quotes from well known persons and under the Big Buddha, there was a temple filled with various representations of Buddha. It is a bit of a drive from Phuket, so best to engage the services of a dedicated driver. Also dress conservatively otherwise the security will not all allow access.

It is a wonderful place to explore. You can get a view of the entire city from the top. I would recommend opting the ATV tour to the big Buddha temple where you can drive along with a captain who would assist you and get back. Overall it’s an hour trip. It’s get slightly crowded but since the place is wide spread you wouldn’t feel the congestion.

Great place to have a view of the island as well as to watch the sunset. I recommend riding your bike to the top of the hill since it is the most convenient way and the daily rent of a bike is cheaper than taking a taxi both ways.

Must visit place! Fantastic view! You can meditate there with an instructor. Get 3 scents by donating and make a wish! You can go see a monk get blessed and get a wish bracelet! A few monkeys up there, they are cute but be aware they can grab your staff :)

The Big Buddha is a must-see if you are visiting Phuket. Even if you've seen other Buddhas around the world, this one offers amazing 360 views of the entire island and is stunning on a gorgeous day. There are picnic areas where you can bring your own food to enjoy the scenery. Please be respectful and avoid bringing alcohol. There is no entrance fee. Because it's so touristy, it's not difficult to find a Grab to get you to your next destination.

Beautiful and calming place. We went up in the morning and it was very warm. We had a blessing from the monks. I enjoyed it very much. Then sat and ate an icecream while looking down on the monkeys playing in the trees. I took a set of clothes to cover while there ad you have to cover knees and shoulders. You can buy it up there but if your taking a bag then I suggest being prepared.

We had a wonderful experience visiting the Giant Buddha during our stay. We appreciated that it was a free activity. We bought a small marble and wrote a note to donate. Seeing the Buddha up close was breathtaking, allowing us to appreciate its size. Unfortunately, the sky wasn't clear when we visited, and it was boiling. However, the most remarkable part of our experience was meeting the monkeys!

The visit to big Buddha was easy and fast. We had a car so need to anyone. The driving is easy and short. Lots of people just admiring the site and views than the Buddha. It looks unfinished, lots of construction material around, the views are better from a lower point of the hill. All the same items sold everywhere you find it here. Maybe in 100 years time it would be more meaningful.

Must see place with beautiful views. No entrance fee- they should introduce one. We enjoyed our visit. Some irresponsible behaviour from visitor speaking Russian, who gave coke to the wild monkey just to have a laugh and take a video, disregarding sign not to feed the monkeys.

Free visit, all they ask is you respect their religion by covering from shoulders to knee's or just above. And now hats... not a big price to pay. You can climb to the top and walk around the big Buddha. And there's a few other small events also going on. One guy was doing 7 minutes of meditation, and there's a monk downstairs blessing people. Unfortunately, this costs, and there's no sign telling you so. Religion seems to come at a price with him. But for most of the location it is a wonderful visit with a couple of small shops where you can get refreshments and souvenirs. Oh, and there are wild monkeys. Don't wind them up, or tease them with food, because they will take it from you. And by whatever means necessary.

Very beautiful buildings, nice grounds. Kids were done for the day before making it to here, but I enjoyed climbing to the top to see the relic and also admire the view. I can't compare to other temples, as this was our one day out and about (and it was cut short by cranky kids), but it's worth at least 30 minutes to look around.

Chalong Temple is the most important temple in Phuket. It is a complex with some temples on the same land. It was built in honor of 2 Buddhist monks, who, with their herbal knowledge, helped the Thais in the fight against the Chinese rebellion. You can see wax statues of these monks in one of the temples. In the main temple, on the third floor, there is a chip of Buddha's bone and the paintings on the walls tell the story of Buddha. Entrance and parking are free. To visit the temples you must be wearing the correct clothing (below the knee and with shoulders and chest covered).

After visiting Big Buddha, we headed to Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) and the architecture is stunning! Free admission and we went around 2pm which wasn’t too busy on a Sunday. Dress appropriately before entering the temples. They have someone that'll inform you to take off your hat before heading in. When I first walked in, it didn't feel as calm as other temples because they would crack fireworks. Visitors can participate in meditation sessions, make offerings, shake the sticks and have your fortune read. Each stick has a corresponding number and there’s a cabinet that has the fortunes. Blessings to you all! Along the parking lot area there are food & souvenirs stores to check out. I bought my first elephant shirt for my boyfriend from there that’s really cute since it was very hot that day!

What a beautiful temple complex, amazing to walk around, and if you go there at 530pm you can see the monks praying. Highly recommended if you're in Phuket to pay your respects and visit here. Very tranquil and idyllic!

Very beautiful temple with a beautiful view with lot of flowering plants greenery. Neat and clean surrounding. You take lots of picture. Point to be noted do dress properly as it is a holy place. If you are hungry you can grab food , and the washroom is also near by which is also very hygiene. From this Temple it will take 20 to 25min by Scooty ride for Karon Beach which is very suitable for family. Very beautiful sunset,neat and clean beach .

The Buddhist temple has three levels. Each level differs from the others a little bit. I love the paintings against the walls. You have a very nice view from the top. As usual women need to cover their shoulders and knees. You are also not allowed to show cleavage. Usually, they give you a tasmina to cover yourself. Nowadays you need to buy it. You also take your shoes off before you enter

Great little temple with various buildings, some gardens. Several floors inside with lots of golden Buddha's and painted walls, with a small shrine on the top floor. A variety of stalls selling the usual tourist items, drinks and ice creams on site. Note: no need to book this on a tour, it is on the bus route from Kata/Karon to Phuket Town centre (and vice versa.)

One of the most beautiful temples on the island. Easily accessible by your own transport, Taxi or bus. Very easy to find & is definitely worth checking out. I always revisit this stunning temple any time I am back in phuket. The architecture is truly amazing. Wat Chalong is very beautiful! It’s a must visit when going to Phuket. Although, a very touristy place with little chance of meditating, the buildings are beautiful to watch. We enjoyed our visit here. When done in Wat Chalong, visit Rim Tang for lunch or an afternoon snack.

One of the most stunning Buddhist temples I've seen. I was unable to spend time in temples because I was on the sharing trip, but there are currently three attractions: two temples and one muzuem. A temple typically takes around 20 minutes to visit, as it has three storeys and is decorated with Buddha statues and pictures. It was a good area to pray and meditate, since I saw a few folks and tourists doing so there. The building's architecture looks fantastic. Visitors should avoid wearing shorts or sleeves since they must be covered.

A beautiful temple in the true Thai tradition. Beautifully maintained and spacious with garden. Other than all that swimming and canoeing and island hopping, it's nice to also get to learn about the Thai culture and its national religion.

Beautiful and peaceful. All the three of them. No payment needed. It’s doesn’t take more than 30-45 min for visit all of them, including the picture time. If you are a woman you must be properly covered up with a long sleeve shirt and long skirt or long trousers; for men it’s was ok with a t-shirt and knees trousers. Near the exit stairs you probably see a family of monkeys

Nice place to walk around and view the Wats. One of them contains a bone from Budda. You can spend 1-3 hours here. I don't believe there is a fee but they always accept donations.

It's a beautiful place and a must visit. Even with so many tourists, it feels so peaceful and quiet inside. The architecture is gorgeous and the statues are beautiful. I would highly recommend going here in Phuket. Also, please be mindful that they expect you to be dressed appropriately since it is a temple.

It was pretty. Multiple buildings and levels to peruse. If you've seen one temple, you've seen them all. You can make offerings here. Shake the sticks and have your fortune read. The first stick that comes out is your fortune. Each stick has a corresponding number. There is a slotted cabinet off to the side that has the fortunes. Blessings to you all.

The architecture and engineering involved in constructing this temple are awe-inspiring! However, I didn't find it as calm and peaceful during our visit as I usually do in other temples we have previously visited. I suppose it is because it is more of a tourist attraction.

This temple known as the Chalong Temple is one of the most majestic and memorable places we visited in Thailand. Make sure to dress modestly when visiting. If you have shorts on, they will provide skirts to cover. The temple grounds is huge and you can spend hours enjoying the beautiful building, garden, and view. This temple also has some of Buddha’s relic.

So peaceful (obviously it’s your mindset and experience). Like yourself, others are visiting the Temple and it is super hot, so find yourself a shady spot and bask in the ambiance of this beautiful place. Definitely worth a visit. Beautiful temple, very ornate, with a long history of +300yrs. Several buildings on the complex, each housing a special Buddha (e.g. Gold Buddha, Wax Buddha, Smoking Buddha and a building housing a Buddha relic). A lot of the surrounding pavement is being upgraded so there is quite a bit of construction work going on at the time of our visit. Otherwise it's a charming local temple to visit whilst in Phuket.

The most important of Phuket's Buddhist temples. Built in the XIX century. The tallest building is said to contain a splinter of bone from Buddha. Climb to the third floor terrace to get cool photo opportunities. If you have a camera with decent lenses you can capture the Big Buddha on the Nakkerd hill. Stand on the stairs to the second and third levels to get good shots of the first and second. Don't miss.

Nice and interesting night market... Lots of food stalls and shopping. Food here is way cheaper than the walking night market at old town and has proper dining area to dine after purchasing food from the stalls.. Very much stroller friendly although, it can be quite crowded but still accessible as compared to the old town walking night market (which is packed from shoulder to shoulder and super narrow paths).

In terms of sheer amount of food and shops this is definitely one of if not the biggest night market in Phuket. Great food, live music, and tons and tons of shops. Came twice in my trip because I had so much fun! Only open on weekends so definitely try and stop by!

Quite a lot of stores. Have a good variety of street foods. There are other stores such as clothes, bags, crafts and toys. Really enjoy the live performance located just beside the seating area. Good ambience overall.

This Naka market was my favorite market during the trip. Just an incredible experience. I enjoyed each time we visited this market. The food is delicious there and the fresh juice is delicious!

Naka Weekend Market is a lively and bustling hub of activity offering a variety of local products and street food, but it can get crowded and prices may be slightly higher than other markets. Bargaining is possible, so it's worth trying to negotiate for a better price. Nonetheless, if you enjoy shopping and trying out different types of street food, then it is definitely worth a visit. The market is open only on weekends.

A lot of souvenirs are available along with clothing and footwear options. This market also has a dedicated food Street and dining area. Budding talents were performing at the entry of Naka market which was a delight to watch. Negotiation works at most of the shops. Recommended.

A newer wing of the established Central Festival retail development, this wing has some of the most high end brands as well as some great homegrown Thai brands. Not as crowded as its older sister next door but as exciting and as fun too. The grocery and food court on the basement level are more robust and well curated and the department store is also well stocked.

Such a modern shopping centre. It’s crazy that it’s build all around such poor looking area and once u walk inside u are in top world class building and set up. And massive also :) prettiest toilet I ever seen in shopping centre.

Nice mall, can spend a few hours and you get all you need , loved the ground floor shops like market style. There’s lots of weed infused products which you wont find everywhere else. Its connected to the old central mall, and we also went to the cinema which was nice and clean too.

High-end 3-storey shopping mall in this building. Brands like Gucci, LV. Beautiful interior with high ceiling. Foot traffic is moderate, not bad at this hour (10.20am). There is a linked bridge to bring shoppers across to the other shopping mall with mid-range offerings.

It’s a nice Center with the typical problems big center’s have Worldwide Empty shops Tü fill up temporary. I think the concept of this Centers need a update to get more customers from web back to Shops.

Nice food market next the to parking entrance at Central Phuket Floresta, perfect vibe for the 16 Feb, Public Holiday. Possibly to be continued over weekends going forward, so make sure to check the space. Great variety of different and interesting foods on offer.

The mall is quite good and huuge. You cannot cover it in a day. It has almost all major brand clothes and accessories and food options. You should visit here atleast once.

Two wings, the newer looking one has the upscale brands (LV, Balenciaga, Gucci, etc). We were here for 5 hours and was able to find some of our favourite shops. Bring your passports as some of the shops will give you most of the VAT back. It's a good mall to visit and checkout.

A good mall to visit in Phuket. Doesn’t rival the crazy over-the-top malls in Bangkok, but definitely good for shopping and eating

I loved the place. We are two pensioners but our inner child came to life. It was so nice to take pictures. The lady came to assist us and she took the pictures. We really appreciated it. She even made some suggestions. Thanks for their kindness. The entrance fee for adults was 500 Baht.

My sister and I were the only visitors in the morning when it opened, so we got a private guide walking with us and showing us where to take best pictures. She even took picture of us together at the most famous spot with waterfall, so we were really thankful. So service was really good, but the fact that you have to take off your shoes and walk around the hard floor barefoot for a long time was a big minus to me. My feet hurt anyway from all the walking throughout my trip, so going barefoot was quite painful and we just went fast to speed up the entire visit. Few pictures are really masterpieces, but there's not that much to see here. Also, no air-conditioning - just fans in few important areas, so it's really hot in here.

The first 3D Museum of Southern Thailand ( Formerly Phuket Trickeye Museum ), is located in Phuket old town. Offers the opportunity to engage and interact with modern installatuon art through it's permanent collection and temporaly exhibitions that stimulate creative and imagination.

Went to Phuket 3D Art Museum It was reasonably priced and the museum was nice and clean A lovely young lady came around and took photos of me which was awesome They have loads of pictures for you to have fun with It was well worth the visit with loads of parking You buy your ticket around the corner next to the stairs Take the whole family for a fun filled few hours

It's way cheaper if you buy your ticket on Agoda- we got 50% off for a non refundable ticket. We spend a good 3 hours taking photos. Took 1 stars off because my mom slipped as the floor was too slippery and hurt her back. Floor is too slippery, and wearing no socks doesn't help. Bring non-slip socks to wear as wearing shoes were not allowed. Another star off because there weren't any seating areas. Staff don't speak English, making communication difficult. It's fun to do with family & kids. I don't recommend elderlies unless they are fit. No elevators, you must be able to stand & walk.

This was such a fun experience. It was very exhausting taking all of the photos, but such a great opportunity for people of all ages. The guide remained with us and took all our photos.

We ended up going during a quiet time of the day and so we didn’t have any interference from other people at the museum which was good. We had our own personal guide throughout our journey in the museum, she showed us how to pose and where to stand, she took a picture of us at each artwork! The artworks are funny and great, and it’s a nice place for kids and adults. One downside is that there is not aircon inside, only fans, so you can get very hot very fast. Other than that, I think the entrance price of $15 is excellent, as we had our own guide who literally took all our pictures and I thought it was very worth it. I highly recommend to all travellers!

There's something just so whimsical watching your family pose for these pictures, I've been once before and its still just as fun returning only to find NEW THINGS! It's easygoing, nobody rushes you, and its empty enough so you more or less get the place to yourself!

If this is your first encounter with monkeys be prepared to be a little scared. We went when there was no people as well. There are big packs of monkeys and dogs in the middle of the road and you need to walk right trough them. We carried a large stick just for our peace of mind. Please don't feed the monkeys they have many signs not to do it because they can get aggressive. It is quite a climb to the view point, yet most view points are overgrown with vegetation. You can only look down from this point.

Not recommended to visit during the rainy season because you have to walk around 2km one way uphill (you are not allowed to ride/drive—I wish I had known this). But if you are up for hiking, you might be okay. Still, be careful. It was steep and a lil bit slippery because fruits’ peels are everywhere. The monkeys were good tho, did not disturb us because we kept safe distance. The viewpoint was not that large, I wonder if it’s peak season, there must be too crowded. Plus point: fitness park seemed to be well-maintained. There were around 2 good parks that I noticed. Allowing you to stretch your whole body🙂

If you like hiking and animals, this is the perfect place to visit. It’s fun and the view is beautiful. Please follow all guidelines about dealing with monkeys for your own safety. Keep objects away, monkeys can take things from you in one second. If you bring food be careful to avoid scratches or bites from the monkeys.

Nice experience to see the monkeys in their NATURAL habitat. Even though the GPS shows that you can go all the way to ViewPoint in a car, it is not possible any longer. The road is closed at the bottom of the hill (by the Charoen Samanakij Temple intersection). However, they have scooter rentals in that intersection, which works with the GCOO app. Make sure you download the app if you intend to rent it. Walking to the top is not too bad. There are lots of shade and places to sit and take breaks. There are also bathrooms halfway there, not too clean, but they are there. You do not need to go all the way to ViewPoint to see monkeys, but if you want to see the view, go ahead. WHEN YOU SEE THE MONKEYS: Do NOT panic, keep on walking with your hands open (not a fist), so they know you don't have any food in your hands. Secure everything in your bags. If you have a drink, they will come for it, do NOT fight it. Just let them have it. Do not try to punch or kick them. If they come to you, it is because you have something they think it is food, and they want it. Just keep walking, and they will go away.

We extra took shopper with food inside, all bags we left inside motorbike. The monkeys are really crazy, they grab your legs and clothes, jump on bag. But it was funny because we prepared. But they destroyed bag because they bites with teeth. But if you have no food they not interesting at you at all, but if they see something like bottles or plastic bag they run to you like a hell) we were in evening time and they were probably more calm because have food all day long, but still very active)

Beautiful view of the town from the top and great opportunity to click good photographs. Unfortunately, it was raining a little when we visited the place but still can admire the beautiful view. Good part was that there were no monkeys around. There are some small stalls and food place if you wish to enjoy some local delights or want to buy a drink. The toilet is available with a service charge of 10b per person and was not so clean.

This was a great way to get some exercise. It is a gradual slop up the hill, all paved, and with limited traffic due to it being a dead end at the top. There are monkeys pretty much the whole way. I didn’t bring anything to feed them, but watching other people it appeared some of the monkey groups were more aggressive than others. Trees block some of the view from the viewpoint at the top.

Absolutely our favorite thing to do in Thailand! We’re on our way back after coming 2 days ago 😎 But we are animal lovers and enjoy seeing animals in their natural element. There are so many monkeys and it’s so much fun to feed them. We didn’t venture up the hill as we have kids and didn’t want to risk it on our own. But there are lots of security and the bottom of the hill that will help you out. We’ll probably come back for a 3rd time before we leave

Wild monkeys inhabit this place. They will snatch any food and drinks you have with you. If you've brought anything like that, be prepared for them to take it away. Some say they even grab shiny jewelry or gadgets. In my case, they only took food; they didn't care about necklaces, phones, or rings. Please, do not provoke them. If you willingly give them all your food, don't shout, show no aggression, and don't brandish sticks at them, they won't harm you. You can hold a stick in your hand to deter them, but if you have food in your hands, the stick won't stop them. If you attempt to strike them, you'll only anger them. Monkeys also get agitated if you keep your hands in your pockets. In that case, simply slowly take your hands out and show empty palms. They will back off immediately. If you're concerned, make sure your insurance covers all necessary vaccinations in case of a bite. In the beginning, it can be frightening, but after you run out of food and drinks, you'll see that the monkeys no longer care about you. When you reach the top, you'll enjoy a beautiful view. The climb can be challenging, especially with children, as you have to go uphill, and the monkeys will initially slow you down. If your stress level is high, there's a very cozy café along the way with delicious coffee. There are no monkeys there, so you can relax and enjoy the views. Again, do not take food and water from there or show it to the monkeys; they'll take it all. The essence is not just in the view at the end of the climb, but in the process itself 😊.

We rode here on a scooter and parked at the bottom - It’s around a 2km walk up to the viewpoint (See video) - Although you’ll see Monkeys as soon as you turn onto the road so if that’s all you’re interested in then you won’t need to do the walk. There are hundreds of monkeys - Be careful with your belongings as they are very curious and know people store items in bags etc. If you are carrying a bag - Prepare for monkeys to take interest and climb on you - But be careful as the last time I was here I had a baby interested and the mother didn’t like that - She bit me and I had to get a round of the rabies vaccine. It’s a fun visit and I do it every time I come here, Monkeys are awesome animals - Just be wary and don’t play with them (for long) as it may not end well for you.

You can drive up the hill to the Urban Forest gate where it’s about a 25 minute walk to the top. However, if you’re lucky, the monkeys do venture down the hill on the road and you can view them without even getting out your car. I saw several people walking through the monkeys and neither party seemed bothered at all.

I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the surroundings are on Monkey Hill. I don’t think any of the photos on here do it justice. The first carpark area with the cafe and park is so pretty. You can just stop here to feed the monkeys, you just need to walk down the side road a little and they will come to you … if you bring them fresh fruit! Be sure to leave all your belongings in your vehicle! They will take your wallet just because they can, it happened to a lady while we were there. The cafe is amongst the jungle canopy and such a nice spot to stop for a bite and refreshment. I could have eaten 3 serves of their roast pork canapés! Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy feeling at peace amongst nature. The drive up is wonderful too.

Beware of monkeys. They'll snatch the food/snacks/drinks right from your hand. They'll climb up on you if you try to keep the food away. Go find a long stick before you start walking up; you might need it to keep the monkeys away. It's a long hike up the mountain, about 1 hour just to get up there if you rest multiple times. There's a small drink stand where you can purchase some cool drinks when you get to the viewpoint.

Such a high & steep "hill". There is no signage to tell you how far away it is in terms of walking speed and distance. I got so overwhelmingly hot and sweaty from the climb and there was nothing at the summit but some ugly electric station. It was so not worth it that on the way down , I made sure to tell other groups of visitors to get water and that the climb is not a chill one, and that they need to take it slowly.

The way on top is long and heavy, especially if midday , but it worth it . Buy on the way fruits and welcome to feed monkey on the all way to the top of the hill. I recommend for sure visit this place , lots of emotions and beautiful view in the end , you will take lots of cute monkey photos , but be careful , they can bite 🙃😮‍💨

Its actually way to the viewpoint where you will meet monkeys, many many monkeys. You can buy bananas and other snacks for them at parking lot. But be aware, the monkeys are dangerous, can bite and scratch. If you are going there, take care about your belongings, keep everything in backpack, especially food for monkeys hide in bag, they will try to steal it and they could be dangerous.

Great attraction, but beware of monkeys - they're eager for food so don't provoke them or let them scratch or bite you. Otherwise they're are cool to observe when you have no food (they kinda ignore you mostly) and it was really great experience (one of them did climb on me to steal bananas so beware again and not sure you want to go as far as the top of this hill :)

Easy to find with plenty of free parking for both cars and bikes. There are plenty of monkeys right at the beginning of the hill. There are vendors selling food for the monkeys for 30 Baht. Nice walk as long as you don't mind the monkeys. The viewpoint offers a great view of Phuket. There is no entrance fee, so this is a great afternoon outing. There are toilets on site.

We claimed at night and it was a good choice because the weather was perfect. It’s safe at night and local people exercises and you are not alone. Be aware that there is lots of dogs in groups and they come close to get food but you are not allowed to feed them ( staff themselves feed them) and they are not dangerous. Bring water and wear sport shoes.

Very cool to see so many monkeys, I had two baby monkeys climb up my leg! I’ve heard they can be aggressive, but as long as you are respectful and give them some space, no problems at all. But be warned taxis and motorcycles cannot drive up (unless you work or live there I believe), and it is a 1hr walk up…. And it is HOT out!! At the bottom where the taxi lets you out there is a temple with a washroom, some locals selling water for 20bht which is awesome, and electric scooters to rent for 200bht which i highly recommend doing

They changed the access… 1year ago you could drive until the “entrance” now you have to walk a bit more… walking until the view point is not worthy as is heavy climb and very hot and the view is nothing special. Last year cause there were locals selling food at the entrance the streets were full of monkeys… this year zero! We walked a bit and then we came back cause too hot. So if you are lucky you’ll see the monkeys but don’t suffer by walking all the way up! I got a picture of last year to see how full was at the entrance, can’t upload videos otherwise would have show better.

Walking up and down the hill can be a fun 2-3 hrs activity, however I recommend you to follow the below rules. 1. Do not carry a stick, even if you see others do. It only provokes the monkeys and won't help you in any case. 2. Do not carry any loose items like sunglasses or hats. Put them in your bag. 3. Ensure that you have closed bagpack, where monkeys cannot see what's inside. If you carry a fish-net bag and the monkeys see a bottle, they'll come to get it. 4. Do not feed the monkeys. 5. If you have to take something out of your bag, ensure there are no monkeys in sight, otherwise they'll assume you want to feed them. 6. If monkeys approach you, hold up your hands and show them that you got nothing. They'll lose interest. 7. Those are wild animals! They're not your pets or friends. Hence do not try to pet them. 8. If you want to take a selfie or picture, remember to keep a safe distance. Especially when you see a mother with her newborn. 9. Above rules also apply to the stray dogs you'll see up there. 10. If bitten or scratched, immediately go to the nearest hospital or call an ambulance if severe. We followed above rules and had a fun time with no critical situations at all. However, we saw twice an ambulance driving up and down so the dangers are real. Just use your common sense, stay calm and you'll be fine.

This is a spectacular and special way to see monkeys. And you will see monkeys, lots and lots of them. In case you’re not enthusiastic about walking to the top of the hill, just know that you will not have to walk far to see monkeys. I walked to the top where the view of the city is nice, but if you’re there just to see monkeys it is not necessary. The locals advised me (belatedly) not to go alone. Know what to do in case the monkeys get pushy and aggressive which they will definitely do if they think you have food: do not smile (they think you’re baring your teeth), do not make direct eye contact, hold your palms up and out up so they can see you have nothing and slowly back away. If you make the mistake of shouting and using threatening gestures, it will be you against a pack of monkeys. You will lose the battle. I know this unfortunately from experience. A local man with a slingshot had to came to my rescue. My recommendation is to not bring or buy monkey food. They tend to ignore you if you do not have food (but not always). There will still be many playful monkeys to watch and photograph. They are wild creatures. They are unpredictable. Please remember that. Any move you make for your backpack will attract motivated monkeys who think you have food for them and they will jump, claw, unzip, and bite to get that food. It is not advised to carry a bag in your hands because monkeys will grab it from you, no matter what is in it. If you do take food, make sure you do not have to spend too much time getting it out of your backpack or unwrapping it. The monkeys will not wait and it will be a frightening experience when they rush at you aggressively. Keep your children close to you. Be careful getting too close to the mother monkeys with babies. There might be an aggressive male watching. Keep these critical things in mind for your safety and enjoy this truly magical walk. There are dogs, like others have mentioned in their reviews. I found them to be docile and uninterested in people.

In other countries, botanical garden is a huge nice forest with a lot of different plants. Here it's a half-closed small set of insta zones with some plants in a not good state. Doesn't worth to go there for free, but it cost 500THB :)

The Gardens were probably amazing pre covid but they seem to have been let go for years. There is only one staff member who is an older Thai gentleman who doesn't speak English. We still had a good time wandering around and feeding the fish. It is not worth 500 baht. Maybe 50 baht. Hopefully it is restored in the future.

One of my favorite places in Phuket. If you love nature, it's a must to visit. 2 small lakes and a beautiful waterfall in the Rain Forest area its so nice. Butterfly garden is not available anymore in this times. Before was pretty nice. The atmosphere is so quiet and the music in the background it's in perfect sinergy with the surrounding.

100 for Thai 500 is excessive for a foreigner, just over an hour in there was very nice but I would think 250 would have been more realistic, nice way to kill a hot morning, only go if you like tropical plants and want to chill in a nice garden.

This was a bit disappointing. You had to pay to go in 1000bht ($50) for two. Needs some TLC. Lots of lovely wall plaques. It was nice to walk around but not worth the money. Our photos make it look good. The entrance looks amazing.

The botanical gardens is beautiful. The staff very helpful. The plants and artwork a must see as well as the coi fish. Unfortunately a little run down , needs some renovations

Such a beautiful place, with so many different types of plants that we haven't seen before! Just be a little cautious with the mosquitoes, especially if you're allergic. Make sure to ask the lady at the reception for mosquito repellent. Other than that, you can also feed the koi fish!

Nice botanic garden with various sections. Entrance fee is 100 for Thai nationals and 500 for foreigners. The place is well maintained albeit a bit small. It takes about 1h - 1.30h to see everything. Do bring water, some snacks and mosquito spray. The shop is closed so you can't buy anything on site and the mosquitoes will have a feast on you if you aren't prepared.

Very big variety of plants and trees but not worth the 500 baht for the entrance. There are several theme parks (with just palm trees or cactus for example) but there are only a few name tags on them, so you don't really know what you are seeing. Also there are too many mosquitoes, which is kinda expected, ok.

The experience for sure not worth 500 B. We entered through the side, not main entrance, although it was the middle of the day. The place looks abandoned. There was no one inside, no guests, no keepers. By the end of the walk which took about an hour we saw one Thai man who did not speak English. Plants did not look taken care of and some facilities should for sure be restored. We enjoyed our time there, just not worth the money. If you come inside, feed the fish for sure, they seemed very hungry. You might have a better experience if you’re an influencer looking for cute pics spots or if you bring a beer or lunch to stay longer and sit down. But beware of insects which will eat you alive, bring long sleeves or a repellent.

Large, outdoor garden scenes with many Instagram-worthy scenes. Definitely bring bug spray or buy it when offered. Short on education and identification but lots to see anyway.

Paths are quite slippery. Some of the decking is very worn and dangerous - feels like it will give way underneath you. Fish pond seemed very over crowded. There was an adult peacock and peahen and a couple of of peachicks kept in two small cage enclosures. The chicks seemed distressed in the cage next to the adult peacocks - pecking at the divide. There was also tortoise in with the young peacocks, with a tiny bowl of water to get into. Not sure these animals should be housed together, one of the chicks was pecking at the tortoises face. It's cruel how the animals are kept. Would not recommend.

It was a very good exhibit in its prime, but place needs a renovation. It is still beautiful in its own way, but it definitely needs more attention. Also, mosquitos are real trouble. We would enjoy it more if we hadn't been biten by mosquitos constantly. Would I suggest it sure it is a good place to see regional plants in one place but still current condition they charge more than it should cost...

Do not go there. The ticket is 500 thb for devastated and overgrown- so to call 'garden'. This place has not been kept tidy since years.. nothing there. Demolished and devastated areas, abandoned plants like bonsai trees or orchids garden. There's nothing to see. it's such a shame because the place has potential, but owners ruined it already and charged a massive fee for nothing. Btw, animals kept in terrible conditions. Also, very dangerous road and deteriorated wooden decks with holes in it all around, easy to trip over, or break your leg. Shame shame shame..

Terrible garden, the whole garden is withered, 500 baht for dry leaves! Terrible treatment of animals, peacocks sit in small cages without food and blooming water. no fresh animal water, disgusting! Guinea pigs sit under glass and without water! Create good conditions for animals!!!

DON’T GO IN THERE! There’s no maintenance, only some plants were good but most are dying. The wood road is falling apart, I was too afraid to cross because I might fall into water. I feel sorry for the animals inside. And this cost 500 baht, I rather eat something good.

I was the only visitor at 11am. Certainly nothing very special in here. I needed some quiet time. Which I mostly got. Except for the piped music. The themed gardens look a little bit like a 14 year old did them for a rushed school project. If you need a break from too much city noise. Go. If you're looking for botanical excellence or ideas for your own garden buy a magazine

Arrived late in the day, about an hour before closing, still charged 500 Baht for a 2 hours tour which I finished in 30 minutes… No other visitors inside. Place is in a state of disrepair. Shocked at the state of the only Exit bridge leading out to the gift shop, parts broken and planks bending underfoot. Not suitable for anyone elderly that needs walking aids or in a wheelchair. Needs more investment to improve the failing attraction sadly.

A stunning view of the island! You can see the Buddha on the hill which must be three or four miles away. You can also see the other side of the island and the water Beyond. I 100% recommend it. There is a restaurant here and a cafe so make a nice time of it. Very very beautiful.

I visited this place at night, and probably after normal people had left. 😂 There was a little bit of rain, but the view was spectacular. There was even an ice cream stand still open. I highly recommend visiting this place during the day if you are having trouble figuring out the general layout of the island of Phuket. My native guide :-) was able to point out different places and tell me which beaches and towns we were looking at. Very cool!

It's not the most picturesque place, but definitely recommended to visit if you're nearby. It often plays live music and has a pleasant and calming atmosphere. The view of the city at night is stunning and not transferable through the camera. The site is open at night and free to the public.

Took a day tour trip to this place, visited one of the cafés with fantastic view of Phuket town. Recommended!

Scenic.. ocean and city views galore. Worth a drive (note.. DRIVE) to get to a pavilion .. lookout point and some quirky restaurants capitalising on social media for its location. Note.. there are some monkeys in the area..so I guess visible food would be a bad idea. A neglected fitness park as well.. completely overgrown in moss.. makes for dangerous training.. best avoided. Make sure to pick a clear day. During my visit..there was some buskers adding to the romance of the view point. Side note.. it appears several fitness enthusiasts use the slopes and hairpin bended roads to walk / hike / jog . Please keep a lookout as you make your way up.. traffic can appear out of nowhere. Combine with a visit to a nearby temple a bit further down.

Went here today after the police hustled me out of 500baht. It is what it is. This park on the hill has food, free parking, views, and monkeys. There was this old couple singing karaoke not giving any fkks. I’d recommend checking this place out if you got time to spare. Great place to smoke a blunt. A1

We decided to go for a drive after dinner and drove up to Khao Rang. The road is a bit windy so you need to be careful of the motorbikes/scooters zipping a long and we saw a few wild boars crossing as well. There is not a lot of parking at the top so you may have to go around the loop a couple of times but the view is worth it. We spoke to some people that said the restaurant at the top was very good however we did not try it.

Wonderful restaurant at the top of that hill, just near by the view point. They have good coffee but also nice food as well. You should go there at sunset time which looks fantastic and you can enjoy your coffee or drink as you watch the sun go down.

Viewing point for a beautiful sunset! Well, if it's not overcast and showery, it probably is! Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the sunset, but non the less we found a decent restaurant and enjoyed a decent meal. Things to look out for, monkeys walking freely and sitting on the crash barriers, was a pleasant surprise, the golden Buddha on the walk up, and nature reclaiming a Jeep cherokee that I found fascinating

A great place to see the sunset, chill or view a 180 degree views of Phuket. There are few restaurants if you wanna have something, but average food. Be cautious about the monkeys as there are few roaming around.

This is a free activity you should do if you are nearby it has a beautiful view point and cool signs to take pictures of and also has lots of monkeys there so be careful and be nice. Parking lot is available food is available, snacks for monkeys is available & a cute cafe spot is available you can see the information on the schedule on the pictures below! Recommend to go before sunset or on sunrise but anytime works also since it’s open 24/7!

We visited Khao Rang Viewpoint for our last sunset in Phuket. It was a lovely spot to look over the city and watch the colours of the sky change. There was a musician/busker singing and playing guitar and harmonica which really added to the ambience. Would recommend if you’re a nature lover and in the area.

Beautiful place to chill out and relax. We went at 9am to catch the guy feeding the monkeys. We even spotted a wild boar. We have been to both restaurants there, once for lunch and the other time for dinner, both highly recommended. There is a small shop where you can pick up snacks and a toilet is next door (10 baht). The viewpoint has sweeping views of Phuket Town, Chalong Bay and the Panwa Peninsula. A must visit if you are in the area.

You can walk there and it doesnt take too long. For the time I actually spent enjoyed the view, taking a scooter is the better option. It is a plateau in the sun. That's why you wont stay there too long. It is simply too hot to do it. At the top there are also restaurant, restrooms and souvenir shops.

The view is amazing! There are several steps and it's not handicap accessible. There's a cute restaurant with the best Thai tea. It's for sure worth checking out.

Street food at its best and a great variety. After 05:00 PM it’s a very vivid place. The goods that are being sold vary a lot from regular-made in China items like t-shirts or shoes to authentic items like wood pieces or pearls. It is not an art market for sure so the cheap/low quality items form the majority. Still, it’s a good market to explore and eat good food. It’s a must visit and a shame it’s not open every night.

It's a market for sure. It's got lots of small stalls and good for souvenirs it has food places but the food hygiene can be a concern need a strong stomach. ILots of fake stalls selling designer gear of low quality if your into that. But it's good to experience the sense of real culture and vibrant sounds and colours you get from an authentic market

This place reminds me of Chatuchak Weekend market in Bangkok. But it only operates from 4 pm. There’s a food section that offers a wide range of food and is crowded with locals and tourists. You can buy your food and eat at 2 designated areas, with proper tables and chairs. Diners are entertained by live singing and music by talented children. Separated from the food market is the retail section selling bags, clothes, shoes and souvenirs for tourists. Although it is quite big, many shops are selling the same products hence it lack the variety and novelty items that one can find in Chatuchak. One tip to share: ask a few shops for the best price before you decide to buy any item. We asked a few shops for a similar bag and quotation range from 200 to 750 baht!

In my opinion, this weekend market might not be the best choice for a visit, primarily due to its distance from Phuket's old town. Furthermore, the food offerings are fairly commonplace, featuring items like fruits, barbecue seafood, and roasted meats that can be easily found in various street vendors across the island.

A must visit night market in the heart of old town Phuket. An entire area including several side streets are blocked off for traffic and a multitude of stalls spring up every Sunday evening. Everything from clothes, footwear, souvenirs and the widest range of street food is added to the already ever present shops. A wide variety of buskers, musicians, painters, sketchers and caricature artists are prevalent at regular intervals. A bit chaotic during peak hours as parking is at a premium. Well regulated otherwise with crowds thronging the place. Highly recommended.

Very busy Sunday market with lots of foods and local souvenirs. There are also several live music performances ranging from local Thai music to alternative versions of pop music. It’s worth a visit if you’re in the area on a Sunday afternoon/evening.

I highly recommend you go Lard Yai. It is a place worth visiting. Lard Yai (Walking Street in Phuket) is the popular place to visit. There are variety of food like local Thai foods, drinks, snacks, Thai fruits. There have shop selling Phuket desserts, such as A-pong and O-aew. There have shop ice cream with local Phuket desserts. Around Lard Yai have many cafes with different styles. Lard Yai have many workshops like gel candles, paint Patik cloth, and plaster. There have shops selling souvenirs, clothing, jewelry, artwork, and handicrafts. The street attracts many tourists, both Thai people and foreigners. There are singing and dancing performances featuring Thai music, international music. In Lard Yai have Sino-Portuguese architecture that adds to the charm of Phuket province, blending Eastern and Western art beautifully. The street is adorned with beautiful mural. It is a good place to take photo. The Sino-Portuguese architecture is very beautiful. Lad Yai open only Sunday from 4p.m. to 11p.m. There are some disadvantages. At night, the street becomes crowded. There will be lots of cars driving by. Don’t rush or jaywalk. It difficult to walk and find parking. There is no designated eating area with tables at the market but you could stand off to the side next to the shops to eat your food.

A highly touristy spot, the night market is only open on Sunday night till 10pm. There's a variety of food and souvenirs to try, and it's quite clean with some people busking. For fellow Muslims, rest assured as there are many halal food options here.

It is basically Sunday Weekend Market. Here you can find many good spots to take selfies. Place is very colorful, lots of food stalls to try, souvenirs also sells here. Food market open only at Sunday around 4 pm until night.

This market was really sweet & small. We got there around 5pm and it was busy but relaxed.By 6pm it was jam packed with tourist. Once it was packed, the air felt like it stopped moving, it was hot & sticky. We ran into a frozen ice shop to cool down & eat some banana shaved ice before heading back out. I recommend going early, there are less vendors set up but you can actually enjoy the market. All the food was tasty, & it felt a lot more authentic. Not a lot of tourist trinkets. Mostly food & a few shops with clothing! All super affordable!

Lard Yai Market only operates on Sunday that the road will be blocked for the market and the operating time starts from 16:00 till 22:00. I would definitely recommend tourists to visit this Sunday market. There are wide range of choices to eat, drink, shop, buy for instance the basics Thai food and beverages, clothing, souvenirs. I think it’s because that this market only operates on Sunday hence be aware that it would be crowded.

A must visit place in Phuket. The show was awesome, entertaining and great fun. The Dolphins are super smart and clever and do amazing stunts. You will definitely not be disappointed. Shows are at 11:00 and 14:00 so arrive earlier to get settled. There are options to get wet and even take a dive with the dolphins. I took photos with dolphins, it was so cool. Making you appreciate the animal kingdom.

Its a nice place to experience your quality time with dolphin 🐬 and seals 🦭. The show is quite good especially for young children. Moreover you can take photos with dolphins after the show. Tickets can be brought to the counter or in advance. The seating area is quite good. Suggest to buy normal tickets which are cheaper also. Sitting in the first row is expensive and you will have to wear a raincoat also.

I loved the show! It seems the animals get good treatment so it's a huge plus for me. The show is beautiful! I wish the swimming with the dolphins wouldn't be so expensive so I could try it-the price is very high. Other than that it's an awesome place!

Really a great and artistic show. We were really impressed. It leaves you kind of stunned. The price is absolutely reasonable. It was my first time going to such a show and it was definitely worth it. Great for families but also as a couple a great experience. If you don't want to get wet, take regular seats and go to the show at 5PM if you want to avoid the crowd.

First time I watch dolphin show and it’s interesting. It’s super fun with the professional organization 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 1 day have 3 shows at 11am - 2pm- 5pm Buy ticket online will be cheaper If you want to sit in a-b-c rows then you should bring raincoat to avoid to be wet 😆😆

Great impressions of the visit. It is definitely worth going even if you are without children. The program is rich, the tricks are interesting. We enjoyed the visit!

It was such a fantastic show and we really enjoyed it. Wasn't expecting much but they really put on a show. The size of the place may seem small, but is just right. All the seats are quite close to the pool, but the front 3 rows will most likely get wet as dolphins make a lot of splashes. Their online booking system (including third party sites) seem like you may need to purchase their tickets in advance. (We couldn't book online for same day), but we messaged their WhatsApp and managed to get tickets, and the venue isn't full either. Make sure to checkout their show times. Overall, definitely worth it!

Nice show, we like it very much. If you don't want to be wet (I mean really very wet) better to purchase cheap tickets to higher rows. You can add photo with dolphin for 400 thb.

One of the best shows and feeling had in my life so far. The show was so beautiful and the acts were so nice and makes you wonder how did they perform the stunts . The trainers and performing artists have a love feeling with the dolphins and trust me do visit this in your trip to Phuket . It is a must watch

It's a very nice place with a good show. Personally I wouldn't come here as it still seems cruel for the animals to be trained for a show like this. Host was able to present in both Thai and English while the show is nice. Trainers look professional but do take note again of the high prices for Grab and cab to travel to this place and back to your hotel.

Very nice dolphin show which kids and elders can enjoy. Try to grab 2nd or 3rd row to get a splash of water on your face or clothes. 30 minute show but it's very well managed.

Nice show. It's 40mins show which I can be made to 1hr. If you have kids with you, i would suggest to book VIP(2 & 3 row) or VVIP(1 row) to enjoy the show. Please buy tickets in advance to avoid last minute rush.

It's worth every penny spent 👍 A must go place especially if you have kids, they will love it for sure. The trainers were awesome and the efforts put in the training of dolphins is commendable. They start with seal show, the seals are very enthusiastic and then the main dolphin show just blew me, especially the dolphin nose dive. The waiting area needs a lot of improvement.

A DISASTER If you have a problem with a disrespectful coach, you will not have support from management even if they agree to come back to you. They give more credibility to a faulty coach rather than to a client who only asks to follow his training with serenity and respect. I would like to take this opportunity to add: The hygiene is deplorable, when users finish with the mats they are not informed that they must be put in a special location to be cleaned, so they are returned with the clean mats. The weight room is rarely cleaned. I caught staphylococcus and I had 10 days of antibiotics! The equipment is rusty and worn, it's shameful considering the prices. My time in this center was a very bad experience. The Tiger never again! There are other much better centers

TMT was always on my list, but finally getting to experience the energy of the place is just an awesome experience. The whole place is filled with people who have either come to train or just experience MMA. I have people crib that it is commercial but that true with any gym of this size. Booking was a breeze, instructors were engaging and the class was well conducted. Outdoor training in 80% humidity in 100 F will push your limits, if you are in for the pain it’s definitely worth the money. Next time around coming back for longer stay.

If you're a fan of sport plus you really want to live in the Martial Arts environment, TMT is definitely the place! Thanks to Kru Och who was my coach during the stay, I highly recommended him for personal training!

I did Muay Thai for the first time there for 2 hours. Definitely got my moneys worth in sweat. The guys have a developing level of English, like any gym if you are cool and calm and follow all the rules you’ll just be fine. The good thing is there is different groups due to the levels, so experienced won’t be mixed with new guys.

Visited here while on holiday with my partner. Trained kickboxing many years ago and always wanted to train in Thailand. Despite myself being very out of shape and rusty to say the least 😂 the Trainers were really attentive and helpful. It was my partners first time every training Muay Thai and the trainer was very understanding of her level and adapted the pad work accordingly focusing on correct technique etc. Would 100% recommend and will be booking to come back here next time we visit Phuket.

Had a fantastic time training at Tiger Muay Thai. Booked two private lessons for my friend and I (I had some experience under my belt) and the coaches were super reassuring, fun, and engaging. It was honestly flattering to hear I had some idea of what I was doing. These classes are available to anyone regardless of their level of skill. My friend was a beginner and felt he got work out of it. Would highly recommend especially given the price (700 THB which is absolutely crazy. $20?! So reasonable)

I came here last year and trained 2023. Was good and simple. I came here again in 2024, and the front office ladies have ruined this place for me. I'll am wanting to never come back, and I might go somewhere else. I had a private class at 13:00. I arrive at 12:40pm. My training started at 13:20pm. They only trained me for 40 minutes, not the trainers fault. The front desk lady was insanely rude to me. Wouldn't answer my questions. Asking me retoricle questions back and treating me like a child. She was also rude and argued with other customers in front of me. I have no idea why tiger muay thai has highered and kept someone like this. I come from american top team in USA. This was unprofessional. I am treated badly because they messed up on their end. But luckily one of the upper trainers saved this place from a one star. He was willing to work with me to give me a free hour. I only asked for 30 minutes. And it was an amazing session. I want to give a 1 star now but I'm going to give a 2 star because I realize the whole place shouldn't suffer because of one miserable office woman.

I only rate the western boxing class, because it was the worse experience in my sports life. I would describe myself as a beginner/intermediate: I know basics but I am not advanced. So I was exited to come (I even rearranged my vacation for that), to learn and to be part of the community. But already on the first day I was a little bit disappointed: Tiger is the most know club, they do a lot of marketing so a lot of ppl coming but as a result some coaches seem to be bored/arrogant/not interested to teach you. On my second day I was doing a partner exercise with some woman and once I didn‘t unterstand some task, I asked the coach of this day (they switch) for help and more explanation. Instead of answering he rolled his eyes and made a face expression like „why are you even bother me“. Since I came to the most famous (and also most expensive) gym in the region I was expecting that the coaches explain little bit more and are also more friendly and interested. It got me upset and in an unfortunate way (as I understood later), I‘ve expressed that to my partner (and she saw herself why I was upset). In the next round when I was waiting her to punch (the exercise was about both reaction and strength) she misunderstood somehow and started to yell and swear (!) at me in front of the whole class. I asked her not to yell at me, but she ran to the head coach and apparently also said some bad things about me. The head coach even didn‘t try to figure it out what happened and basically told me to shout up. The rest of the class I was doing exercise alone, the head coach was coming to me from time to time to correct, but he was doing it with an attitude like he is making a favor to me. Over all the years of doing sports I have never experienced smth like that before. This totally ruined my stay, because I came specifically for western boxing and I couldn‘t and didn‘t want to go to that class anymore. I can‘t really rate their boxing teaching after all, but the way how they treated me was just super unprofessional and unacceptable. After a long consideration I went to the reception and asked for a refund, because it didn‘t make any sense for me anymore. Apparently they don‘t do refund, so they gave me a money card with my payment, so I could use it for all other trainings and for the food in a restaurant. It was nice, but I still had this „aftertaste“ for the rest of the week and could not train for boxing. I went to the Apollo gym next door and that was amazing: the coaches were super nice and professional and they were really correcting things and answering questions and the training was so much better (and also 1,5 h twice a day instead of 1 h once a day). In general: Tiger is super popular but also super full and overpriced (almost twice as expensive as other gyms), so maybe it is interesting to try it once, but I would not come again. Muay thai class and PT were good and fun.

Did a few Muay Thai sessions in the beginner and intermediate groups but was left a bit disappointed every time. Basically the classes are just way overcrowded, even now when it’s not the high season yet. I would only get 1 or 2 rounds of pads each class and spent the rest of the class hitting a bag without any supervision or tips from the trainers. All trainers I met also spoke little to no English. Now I get we’re in Thailand but in a gym which targets primarily foreigners I would expect the trainers to speak at least very basic English so they can give tips and answer questions, but I only got trainers with whom I could not communicate at all. The facilities are really nice and I think this can be a fantastic place to train if you are already advanced/pro as these classes were much less crowded, but for beginner/intermediate fighters there are lots of other great gyms nearby where you get a lot more personal attention.

I was skeptical coming here as it’s such a big name that I was fearful the training wouldn’t be good or I wouldn’t be treated well given how many people this gym sees annually. I couldn’t be more wrong; the staff from the office to the trainers are amazing. I do No Gi BJJ, Muay Thai, private Muay Thai sessions and use the weight room daily and the curriculum is well planned out and the coaches do go out of their way, from my experience, to assist you wherever and whenever they can. The quality in training partners has been great here, too. I never felt intimidated and always had someone to roll/spar with despite being a relative newbie. With regards to private lessons I was never pushed into purchasing them. This was something I had planned before I got here and feel it’s a much better way to advance quicker than a class. Overall, a good experience.

I had a great time here, just booked a day pass. With that you can use all the facilities and do any classes. I used the gym, did the circuit class and the Muay Thai. The trainers were very helpful and funny too. Did some one on one pad work etc. The food was nice in the restaurant too, definitely worth a visit!

Being an aging athlete and a glutton for punishment I did a day pass here and attended 3 classes in the same day. It was an honor and privilege to train here. I highly recommend this place as an all inclusive training center. Everyone was friendly and the trainers were knowledgeable and professional. Note that this place is the most popular of the 3 gyms I trained at and 5 gyms that I visited. Classes were generally 30-40 people which means a little bit less personal attention but plenty of others at whatever skill/fitness level you are at. Though I would consider myself at an intermediate level back in the States. I got plenty smoked in the beginner classes where I trained along many men and women, some of whom were having their first Thai experience while others (even in the beginning class had lots of experience and stamina). It was also fun to watch high level fighters work with their trainers throughout the day as I tested between classes. The snack bar was a great way to refuel between classes. Food was nutritious and the shakes and balls were perfect when I didn’t have a lot of time to refuel. The kickboxing class - though only an hour it felt like 2 because the training was hard and intense. The instructor was a highly skilled foreigner who taught a great well thought out combo. This was the most I interactive class I had while in Thailand. I absolutely loved it. Muay Boran - it was an honor to train under a world champion. Class was a bit slower paced then the earlier kickboxing class but full of excellent points and fighting philosophy. I felt like I was in the hands of a grandmaster. Every student got some personal attention and guidance. Class was a treat. The Muay Thai class was a great traditional class. We did a ton of cardio, shading ing and clinch drills with other students ending in 9 rounds of pad work, bag work and hard clinch training. Instructors refined my technique and I was smoked at the end of my day. I also peaked in at the cross training and weight room areas and they looked top notch. This is a great place to train

I've been trying at unit for 4 years . It is the best place on the soi for stamina and weight training. A lot of the classes are highly intensive classes. Coaches are high-class and very professional! It's a great community, and like-minded people come here.

On holidays visiting Phuket. I’ve been wanting to train here for many years after friends did a training retreat at Unit-27. I’ve done the morning sessions that start at 8am . After going through the exercises, you choose your own weights and work to your own ability. There is a full range of fitness attendees - from ultra fit to beginners, but everyone is friendly and make you feel welcome. I haven’t finished in the 30 minute time cap yet, but I have two sessions to go, and that’s my aim! 💪 Plenty of scooter parking, and heaps of car parking opposite the gym. Can’t go wrong. You’ll love it! I’am so glad that I did. 😎

We have tried 6 classes and we loved all of them. The Crossfit classes are well coached and very well programmed, the conditioning classes are hard and fun. The community is great, vibes are good and the coaches are super helpful. We will come back for sure and we maybe take our people from the home box with us :)

Year on year Unit 27 still remains the best CrossFit box in Phuket. It’s a place where you could come on your own for a week and walk away with new friends and a community you will always be welcomed in. Coaching and coaches are of high level, with attention to new and seasoned athlete alike. Workouts programmed to be effective and fun with proper scaling on all levels. Facilities offer multiple class types and the sought after ice bath + sauna area. It’s one of those facilities where you could get lost for days, in a good way 💪🏼

While I can't claim to be a fitness freak, I've spent the past 2 weeks going in every day. And at the end of each session it felt like God himself reached down and turned my lungs inside out just for fun. But I persisted! I ate well! And now I'm better than I was when I started. Highly recommend, the staff motivate you and make sure you're not skimping out, so go give it a try if you're in the neighborhood!

By far one of the best intense workouts on fitness street. It’s reasonably priced if you are doing a drop in session compared to near by Muay Thai gyms Deathrow and grenade are for the hardcore fitness fanatics. Coach’s are nice, but they do tell you to leave before the warm ups if you think you can’t handle it

Back here to this area for the 2nd time and tried our unit 27 this round. It has a great online credit purchase system that allows you to book the classes according to what u want. Great facilities, nice big space, great trainers too. Love this place. Will be back again !

By far the best gym I’ve ever been too. They have a variety of different classes and great coaches. If you are serious about getting in the best shape of your life, then I would recommend Unit 27.

It is the best gym on the street(perhaps in the world 555). There are various training sessions. You should try them as your level. But you certainly must try evening crossfit sessions with coach Georgiy. It is the most difficult and the best session in the gym. Coaches taking care of you according to your level. Also try olympic lifting lessons.

It’s such a nice view point called Windmill Viewpoint because there’s a wind mill in place. The view point where you can see an island, coast and several boats floating around the sea. The view point is shady where you can take picture and enjoy a peaceful time there as well. Parking is available in place. Also, there’s small shop selling drinks and snacks. Moreover, there is a toilet on location and you can access it by paying a small fee. It worths visiting this place and having a peaceful time there. Note: no fee to enter this place and there’s a guard on location to arrange cars at parking and also collect fees for entering toilet. Sunrise and sunset will be awesome at this place.

Very beautiful scenery from Windmill Viewpoint. Quiet place, only our family was there at that time of visit on a weekday. We got the transport to wait for us while we took photos. Near to Prompthep Cape, another top viewpoint.

It’s so nice here at sunset, although the location is very crowded you have plenty of space to enjoy the view and take photos. Best around 6 pm

It’s worthy for 5 stars. One of the best view points for sunset in Phuket. Unforgettable views ,fresh air and if you go there high way so exciting with mountains and trees. Many activities alongside like a Elephant park ,viewpoint restaurants,Monkeys park,Skyline ,and also men make park . Also surrounded by beaches.

One of the nice places in south phuket for a view. However, there are not much food and beverage options, just a single stall. Also there is only one tiny pagoda for people to sit at - so bring a mat to sit on the grass and pass the time. Also not sure why the flood lights are on at night, which creates light pollution so you can’t see the stars or night view properly. It’s nice but could do a lot better.

Windmill viewpoint gets it’s name from the large power generating structure located nearby the lookout. The viewpoint can be accessed directly from the the coastal road which runs north to Nai Harn Beach. A short, sealed road takes you up to an open sided viewing platform, which is situated at the top of the peak, and provides great views north and south along the coastline. If you get there while it’s still hot the the viewing platform has a roof to provide some shade and relief from the blazing Phuket sunshine. There’s also a drinks and snacks stall, and restrooms, nearby.

U can visit this place in the evening to watch the beautiful sunset. It is a peaceful relaxing place. There was a guy who was playing violin which created a good atmosphere.

Beautiful viewpoint for sunset. Less crowded than Karon viewpoint. Bring some food and have a picnic whilst watching the colours wash across the sky.

Very beautiful windy spot to overlook the coast. A small seller with coffee/drinks etc at the top. Parking can be an issue as for motorbike very big step off edges of road. Great to watch parasailers just floating in the wind.

Beautiful views, there’s nothing to do there though. Spend a little while for some time to yourself and enjoy the view. Relax a little!

The view is breathtaking. Not much of the security guard that’s why I found that the parking and traffic was a little bit jam. Worth the hype!

Great view from top of the hill for free. Nothing to do much just relax and enjoy the ocean and yachts view. Super hot at noon, don’t come! Small shop is available. But If you want cool air and proper seats, I suggest to visit cafe located on the way to this hill.

Just had a short stop before getting to the Cape. If you are using Bolt, ask to go to Cape and do a short stop at viewpoint. We booked to view point and then offered to pay extra in cash. We stopped to see the view and have a snack as well, and he drove off to get another fare after 20 mins. We were able to book another driver via Bolt. You can walk from the View point to the Cape as another option.

Nice view but my suggestions are you can visit this place in morning or evening not in afternoon because its hot out there in afternoon.

Well kept marina with some beautiful boats and yachts docked. I found it interesting that it is the 1st and only Carbon neutral marina in Asia.

Our first visit to go to James Bond Island. We had a very nice and a bit crazy tour Guide Nina. Kept everyone laughing and entertained and up to date on all safety tips and what we were doing. Crew excellent throughout and we had a great trip. Even though we have done this trip before, its still a great day out. We took our friend's from Australia and Bob on this trip Not back until about 17.50 and back to the hotel an hour later. A long tiring but very enjoyable day.

A place where people collect and start their tous to the nearby islands for one full day. Arranged tours for 2 days. The islands are amazing when you go to Phoket. They should not be missed.

The place to embark people to islands such as james bond island and phi phi island. Good place and well directed.

Very impressive area. Apparently all major boat tours to islands around Phuket, start from there. It is only accessible through a booked transport/part of the tour. Very clean and modern.

This is the place where our trip to the james bond and phi phi islands started I like the place.. it’s clean The people are nice There is a shop where you can get things you may need during the trip like snorkeling things, waterproof phone cases, sea sickness pills (free), and swimming suits and shoes. While waiting to the trip to start, they offer you some snacks (thai snacks). Before starting the trip, they take pictures of you and when you finish, it will be printed and framed, you can buy it with 200 thai bahat I like the place so much, although I believe they can work better on the waiting area It’s small and needs better furniture and more snack options

Came here to catch our tour to James Bond island as well as FiFi island. It’s great you have an ATM good clean washrooms there’s shops to buy anything that you need last minute like raincoats Cabela’s, swimming shoes, and snacks.

From here you can go to Phi Phi and other islands .. different types of merchandise available at the store inside, from swin suits, raincoats , beach wears etc .. the guides were nice and helpful.. very well managed boat ride. We went during mid August and it was raining very heavily during our return journey back to Phuket, and the sea waves were big , the staff took really good care of pax and brought us safely back to the dock..

Nice place. Only stopped here shortly as we were going on a trip. Met a lady called Latte (nickname) who was probably one of the nicest people I met in Thailand. I would book again just to spend the day with her. Thanks for giving us a great experience.

Positives + Very quiet and peaceful (if you choose your apartment carefully) + Only 14 units per building so not busy + Great pool and deck area in each apartment building + Much better value compared to west of Phuket apartments ranged from 70,000 ( $2000USD ) per month to $6000USD per month. + Large 2 bedroom apartment was 155sqm (1668 SQF) + Modern Gym Negatives - no beaches nearby - feel somewhat isolated and a good 15+ minutes bike ride to a shopping centre - to go to the nearest corner shop ( 7/11) it's 2.4 km round-trip as the driveway is 1 km long. - there is no footpath to leave the complex so you have to walk on the narrow driveway and when a car comes you constantly have to walk off to the side of drive way. -Like much of Thailand the surrounding areas are not walkable - Compared to other parts of Thailand electricity is expensive - properties are not very well designed and ventilated so it can be hotter inside than it is outside. - many of the kitchens do not feature a dishwasher

A beautiful marina glittering with elegant yachts and boats. Can be crowded since it's the meeting point or start off point for most tour operators, but overall, it's nice.

Great Place to getaway. Enjoy the sea life in Phuket, Enjoy the boat charter. The community is so well maintained.

Our island tour launched from here. Its clean and low traffic. We were on our way in no time and upon return were able to park n exit the boat easily.

A very beautiful place! Quiet and calm, you can take a walk, sit in a cafe, enjoy the view of beautiful boats and yachts

No bathrooms, hot weather, and I got sun poisoning. Probably my fault but I really hate water. I don’t know why I booked this boat trip to be honest
