Gorgeous! Took the Grand Tour of the Apostle Islands in August 2022. 2 1/2+ hour tour. Arrived early for excellent parking & seats on the boat. (Recommend back row top deck for long legs & excellent views) Was totally worth $45+ a person. The captain was an excellent narrator and guide for the tour. Many fascinating comments and honestly, he was funny, keeping the tour interesting and fresh. Bathroom and snacks on boat. Thrilled to see the crew clean the railings regularly to keep germs low. Some guests opted for masks, most didn't. Great for families with kids. A family with 7 kids under 15 joined the tour and looked like it was a great time!

It's a very long hike!! It starts out ok, but turns out to be pretty strenuous and seems longer then the 1.8 MI that is posted!! It turns into lots of up and downs and roots. I went to the crevasse, and waited for my husband, who went the rest of the way!!

Scenery is very pretty so it’s cool to come, but the people here in this part of Wisconsin seem very unfriendly ran into quite a few people that were not very friendly

Great place for avid and experienced campers and kayakers! A lot of fun for inexperienced campers as well. Towns and areas surrounding this area are small, shops close early, and most restaurants close by 8; but a few restaurants are open later. I would bring a cooler already stocked and snacks. Prices are high at the grocery stores so try to come prepared to save money. The views are brilliant views and some great hiking. We came up to kayak the sea caves but did not get a chance due to “weather.” That may have increased the star rating to a 5. Great hiking trail: Meyers Beach Sea Caves trail-solid moderate trail. This was a great time! Young kids or persons with disabilities would need significant assistance completing this trail. Lots of nearby campsites. Can burn wood nearby campsite- if you can find any dry, downed logs. Lots of available kindling but we bought wood at a nearby casino for $5.50 a bundle. On a cool night, one bundle for 30-45 minutes of fire.

The sea caves are fabulous! I took my family on a full day sea kayak trip with Whitecap Kayak. They are awesome providing us a personalized tour and not the assembly line tours we heard were offered on the other tours. We were fortunate the water was so calm allowing you to paddle into multiple sea caves.

Super beautiful. Didn't complete the whole trail along the lake.... Ended up spraining my ankle! but it's okay, got these pictures out of it and some good memories. Will be conquering the trail again next time I'm up here.

I've done a few trails on lake superior but this one is my favorite so far! Amazing views the whole hike. I entered the trail near the beach and hiked a few miles here, highly recommended even if you're just driving through the area it's a quick pull off.

It was our first time. My parents and their friends had talked about it for many years...back to the original tent. We saw Riding the Wind. Absolutely loved it!!

Definitely a unique setting...you can't get much more Northern Wisconsin than this.. A huge tent, in the middle of a field, at the bottom of a ski hill...I love it. Seating is a mix of Church pews and theater style fold down woods seats, with a gravel floor! You just have to experience it once, and you will definitely want to return. Smaller venue, so all seats have a relatively good view. Outdoor lawn seating is also a good cheaper seating option. Always amazing talent and a fun crowd.

I saw the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band here. Great venue outdoors and that made it special. The only reason for 4 stars was the mosquitos. Bring bug spray. Super fun venue, well worth doing! This group was having fun and were a great show too. I feel bad for giving 4 stars for this event.....I just cant do it!

The old Big top is now enclosed by a more weather-resistant structure. The best sound is at the back, rather than the sides. As always, a wonderful time, great staff, great concert attendees.

Love this small venue for concerts in a huge tent! Great volunteers, easy parking, good food & drink & reasonable prices compared to arenas. Located at the base of a ski hill between Bayfield & aWashburn, WI. Also good modern bathroom & outhouses. Over the yrs we've seen Kenny Ray Shepherd, Jeff Daniels, Bonnie Raitt, & Shakey Graves... All great times!

Loved the venue set up! The concessions are great also. A very clean and comfortable environment.

The Big Top has the heart of Wisconsin! It’s a well managed venue and musical artists love to perform here. Witness an intimate concert experience with a great crowd and the artists are always really “on” at the Big top. The location and character are truly charming. Go there!

Wow….this place is amazing! I’m very glad a friend told me about Big Top when I shared that I was traveling to Bayfield for vacation. Saw the Indigo Girls. Amazing concert at an amazing venue. Super easy to get to location, near Bayfield. Showed up to easy parking. Scanning of tickets on the mobile phone was quick. There’s great food and drinks that you can purchase once you arrive. The concert under the tent was spectacular. Everyone attending the show and working at the show was very friendly. You need to experience this at least once!!

Awesome seasonal space bringing top talent, as well as local shows to the area. Sound and lighting are good, as is seating (with the possible exception of a few tent leaks here and there if it's raining hard... but everything else is so good, you hardly notice.)

They had a lot of amazing plants. They are dug daily. A bunch of collectibles in the barn. Old toys and other collectibles! Just fun to look at all the stuff. They have put together a tap House that will be opening soon. Picked up some nice perennials and two plum trees.

The cutest location! A must see for cider and history lovers. The tasting room has a depth of historical items and the upstairs antique room is a must visit!! The ciders are extremely approachable, semi dry and options for all palates. Don’t sleep on the amazing photo opportunities around the grounds!

Love this nursery. We get most all of our hanging baskets from here! Delightful staff.

Well organized staff and business. We were there for Apple Fest and it was busy busy but got in and out quickly. They have free cider tasting so you can find what you like before buying the whole bottle.

Free shuttle to and from town all day long. Cider tasting and cute gift shop. Unique barn collection and view. Free pony rides was a hit and they were so kind to our son. Good brats and pulled pork, fresh cider, and the goodies to buy. All and all a wonderful place just not somewhere to pick your own.

Fantastic cider. I highly recommend them. My favorite was the blueberry

For $5, you can taste 5 different wines from their lengthy list & keep the collector wine glass. They have a wide variety of apples, jams, & other gifts too. You can also see Lake Superior from the property. I would highly recommend visiting.

Fun stop. The ladies were friendly and knowledgeable about the wine samples. Make sure to go into the barn to see the gems in there.

Beautiful view, delicious hard cider, free tastings, and an adorable shop. Plenty of room to sit outside on the deck and enjoy the view while sipping some cider.

What a wonderful experience! Free, but please donate - the kind of place that needs to stay open. Short season - the building is actually used to store boats. So much history, well displayed & explained. Sometimes a series of photographs, sometimes a video, other times very well laid out descriptions. There’s even a cut-away eight cylinder diesel engine. Helpful,friendly staff - obviously passionate about helping us learn about Great Lakes maritime history!

Worth the stop! Could spend 10 min to 110 min depending on your level of interest. Nonetheless, uniquely curated collection of seafaring items and history. Free and donation is suggested.

This is a nice little museum right next to the Marina in Bayfield. Admission is free, but there is a donation box by the entry. They have quite a few artifacts, engines, displays, and information regarding shipping and local fishing. It's worth the stop if you like history or the Bayfield area of Lake Superior.

Awesome Free/Donations Appreciated exhibit, great way to learn more about the area’s fishing and ship history. The Ships Pilothouse Mock up out front is perf for kids and kids at heart, highly recommend will visit again 🚢

Great local museum to go through. Doesn’t take too long to go through which is good for the kids who don’t have the attention span yet.. also close to the playground. Donations appreciated but not required.

What a great educational place to take the family! This free (donations greatly appreciate) museum has a lot of exhibit for any age. From my couple years of stopping in, the museum always has rotating exhibits and currently (Aug 2019) have some really interesting exhibits outside! This place also has really good parking down by the water! Pack a picnic and take the family there for some fun!

This is well worth the visit to see alot of history of Bayfield and its relationship to Lake Superior. Fishing and shipping displays with knowledgeable volunteers. Free admission with donations appreciated. We loved the lighthouse displays.

This place was absolutely awesome! I’ve lived in Ashland my entire life- 22 years and never knew it existed. 10:10 recommend especially if you’re into history!

Very nice museum. It's free will donation, or you can just go through it. There is a great history of fishing and boating in the area. On Tuesday and Thursday, volunteers are working on a beautiful rowing boat and old engines. They are demonstrating how to do the work. They are very welcoming and informative.

This is an excellent place to spend a weekend. Kayaking, picnic, hiking, sea caves, and one of the most well groomed trails I've ever got to partake in. Parking is very very limited so get there early or prepare to park far away. Kayak and boat launch here. Safety first. We not only kayaked but got to hike these trails. Dog friendlyand very people. When you come to this place it's strictly for the nature. Enjoy it and leave nothing but ripples, and footprints.

Worth the hike!! The views looking from the top down onto the sea caves was amazing. Saw many kayaks entering the caves. Did this hike in the morning and then did the island sunset cruise. I am a photo person and I felt I had many more great photo ops vs. on the boat. $5 parking fee at the park. Great way to relax at the end of the day.

Took the sea caves overlook trail with my 2 greyhounds. This is primarily a forest trail until you get close to the sea caves. The trail consists mainly of 2 plank boardwalks and steps. So waterproofed hiking boots are a must as sometimes you have to step off the trail to let people pass. The forest is lush and in mid-June blue bead lillies and bunchberry are in bloom. Bug repellent is definitely required, and the dampness of the forest raises the humidity. The first mile is easy, but then you need to descend into 6 to 7 steep gullies and this raises the ease of the hike to moderate. Muddy creeks generally meet you at the bottom before you climb back out. Here steps are uneven and eroded with exposed tree roots becoming a hazard. If you are unsure of foot you will definitely need walking poles (or consider giving the trail a miss). Note to multi-dog owners, having 2 leashed large dogs increased the difficulty significantly on this section. On the plus side these gullies are not deep (15-25 feet elevation change). The main sea cave is impressive from above, with gapping holes in the roof that allow you to look down into it. There is a nice bench to sit on to contemplate Lake Superior. Starting out before 6 am on a weekday we saw no-one until we were half way back so a good time to go to avoid crowds. The last group I encountered had just seen a black bear on the trail quite close to the car park. Although I personally did not see it as we finished the hike, I thought I better let the ranger know there was a bear close by. When I mentioned the bear was gone when we walked through, he made my day by replying "bummer". His first thought was that we had missed out on the pleasure of seeing a wild bear. Apparently bears are sighted fairly regularly in the vicinity but run when encountering people.

We were very lucky to kayak on Saturday with fog. This made the Sea Caves adventure incredible. Jurassic Park vibes!!! We did tandem kayaking and went through the Caves. The next day we hiked the trail above the Sea Caves in a beautiful sunny day. The water was so blue and we stopped at the view points to take pictures and make really good memories! What a fantastic weekend. Really worth the drive to Bayfield for an extended long weekend.

We went to hike - and we are not super athletic. It’s a US Park service site; parking was $5 per car (fee based on length). Round trip we covered about 5 miles, but it was well worth it. The scenery is beautiful!! Not really suitable for young kids or anyone with unsure footing. There’s a few places where the trail has been washed out, and up and down gullies takes some effort! But the beauty is worth it!

Absolutely worth exploring!!! We hiked to the "bowl" and back. Trails are well maintained and while we are not experienced hikers, we manged the distance just fine. Mosquitos are horrible everywhere in the area, so make sure to bring bug spray.

This is truly a hidden gem located in Bayfield, WI. The trail the sea caves is almost 5 miles in and back. The hike is easy to moderate but well worth it when you get to the caves. The trail is well marked. The first half is lined with a boardwalk however many of the wooden planks are loose so please be careful. The other half of the trail is wooded but Make sure you wear shoes with a good some as there are many exposed trees roots. Not a good trail for folks with knee pain. There are some steep inclines. Once you make it to the caves there are some nice flat areas to have a snack. I never made my way down to the beach which is an additional 4 miles making an total of 10 miles in and out. Overall I highly recommend Chick-fil-A out the caves !

Beautiful waters and soft sand💙 There are restrooms and the lakeshore trail nearby! This beach is dog friendly as well! Area kayak tours take off from this beach to get to the Apostle Island Seacaves.

We came here for a short visit a few years ago. This time we came back to hike the full Lakeshore Trail (10+ miles) starting at the parking area of Meyers Beach. We did an overnight drive from the Twin Cities and boondocked right in the parking area, because we wanted to have an early start with the hike, and it was perfect to see the northern stars here! We woke up to a beautiful sunrise and the opening view of the lake. There is a $5 day fee to park there. There are two non-gendered, one-person-use bathrooms in the area, and the only light source is from the single window each provide. There are couple picnic tables, running water, and resources about the islands and surrounding areas. There's park rangers there to answer any questions you have as well (during open hours). We started hiking at 5am and stopped several times to bask in the views of the caves and horizons of other islands. It's definitely quiet and less crowded. The Lakeshore Trail takes you to the Lakeshore camping sites, and is a medium to hard difficulty in hiking, depending on your hiking endurance. It is not kid or accessible-friendly. There are some fallen trees and natural damages around the trail due to early storms. Also note that there are not a lot of barriers around the trails, so do hike with caution and be conscious of your surrounding and environment at all times. With some stops here and there, we got to the campground in about 4 hours. We hung around the beach area for a quick skinny dipping in the cool, clear water, rest, and refuel; and then made our way back to the starting point. By this time, people are trickling in for kayaking tours. It was nice to see kayakers below the trail and caves. We got back in about 3 hours this time since we didn't make a lot of stops as we did going there. Once back, we took the boardwalk down to the beach (Meyers Beach) and hung out with other folks for lunch and watch kayakers launch their tour from here. This is now one of our top list to be when visiting Apostle island.

We love coming here to pick blueberries. We restrained ourselves this year and only picked 6 pounds between 2 adults and a teen. The berries are sweet and easy to pick. Their jam and honey are also delicious.

Very friendly place to take the whole family to pick your own berries. Take a picnic lunch to enjoy on the patio or under a big tree. Nice handmade gifts from local artists to purchase.

Gorgeous farm, and seemingly the earliest berries available within the Bayfield “fruit loop”! The new owners are amazing, and really fun to talk with. We can’t wait to come back for blueberries, and apples this Fall! Definitely worth a stop if you’re in area.

Bery beautiful place! Picking blueberries was very fun here. A guide told us where to pick and directions but other than that we where by ourselves! Prices where very acceptable. The all the berry is very good tasting and enjoyable!

Stopped by on a rainy Sunday 25 minutes before close with four adults and two toddlers. Sam was SO welcoming, told us everything we needed to know about picking apples and raspberries, and to not worry about rushing because he'd be there all day. We got lucky with the weather and had a great harvest and a wonderful time... honestly probably one of my best memories of this year. We'll be back next time we're in Bayfield!

One of our favorite stops when we visit Bayfield. The fruit is delicious, the owners are gracious and helpful, and the view is outstanding! And let's not forget the pup- what a sweetheart!!

Amazing place! The owners are really nice people and Oliver was very helpful. The best apples in Wisconsin! The locally made sculpture they have for sale are outstanding and very reasonable priced.

Awesome place to pick (delicious) blueberries! Some excellent offerings in the store (jams, jellies, juice, etc). The owners are personable and happy to answer any questions you might have.

I usually try to take more pictures for a better review, but looked back and realized I only took pictures of the music boxs!! Rest assured, they were really cool music box's! This store has a lot of unique gifts for you or anyone really! They are lgbtq friendly (I think, they had a pride flag outside but maybe it was just for sale?)! Another great thing, other than the variety, it's a location. It is right around a new booming area of Bayfield and if you park and shop there, you'll forsure have other stuff to keep you busy!

I support small businesses. That's beautiful but why you didn't buy anything at this shop. Shut up, ghost. My ex wife was buying all kind of stuff and our condo was full of , whatever. Now I'm free. This one is really cute.

The outside winery is adorable. I loved the atmosphere the most. The wine was ok but you go for the experience. The cheese plate was the best!! The people really down to earth.

It was a rainy day and we were looking for stuff to do, and another couple recommended this place for the great wine tasting deal! Bit off the beaten path, but cute spot with good wine. Staff was knowledgeable and happy to answer questions and guide us to the wine we liked best. Cute gifts for wine lovers, too! Vineyards and I think they do tours as well, forgot to ask. We felt the bottles were reasonably priced ($15-25). Oh and free wifi! Right next to an apple orchard as well, wish we could have stopped there but they were closed as it was Sunday afternoon. Definitely would recommend!

Lovely place and great tasting experience. The wines are exceptional ! My wife typically never drinks wine but insisted we buy a case of Devil's Island and Spring Fling. Can't wait to become Seven Ponds Winos.

We were impressed by the vision of the winemaker and his determination to make the best wines, using estate grown grapes, in such a difficult climate. There is something very special about the Bayfield area though, and he seems to have a pulse on its potential. I currently am at home enjoying a glass of "Sweet Sailing" and enjoying it very much.

Seven Ponds Winery was a great stop with amazing wines, fantastic hard ciders, and even better people. I highly suggest the Prairie Star white wine and a seat among the vines.

If you visit this place and manage to leave without finding a piece you absolutely love, I'd be very surprised. Beautiful setting, tons of variety in the artists and creations represented and a lovely garden. The only problem you might face is that you'll want to go back with a bigger vehicle to fit everything in!

A must stop each visit to Bayfield. I feel honored that I met Mr. Eckols long ago, have some pieces and treasure all I purchase. My daughter was able to participate long ago, hands on experience. She graduated college with an art degree and now crafts pottery herself, taking part in Spring Green's salt kiln firings. 😊❤️

Truly inspired art. Every time we come here I get items that inspire me. Coffee is better in an Eccles mug. Salads are tastier in an Eckels salad set. Beautiful garden art.

Great stop on our vacation. Lot's of different and unique items. Very helpful and friendly staff. Really liked the lamps and the fact they are one of a kind. When my wife and I go on vacation we always try to purchase at least one unique item to remember the time spent away from home. Thank-you for those items.

We always swing into this gallery when in Bayfield. I have a few amazing pieces from there. This weekend we were there shopping and I removed a piece from the wall to purchase and the owner was so upset with me. She ran over and scolded me for taking it down (It was a 3"x3" small wall tile.) She was abrupt and rude and told me that she doesn't want people touching them and I should of read the sign. There was a very small sign way off to the side that I simply failed to see. I apologized and she was very irritated with me. I left the shop and was able to find the artist online and purchase direct. Really disappointed in how I was treated.

Always a stop when we're up north! A beautiful shop with a huge selection of local art- pottery, jewelry, cards, painting, handmade soap. They've got the sweetest 'shop dog' Rudy and you also can see the pottery studios they work in

Such a great historical facility yay does great work for the people of Wisconsin and beyond. Great staff. If you get the chance, call and book a tour. Well worth the time and they take you from collecting the eggs all the way to stocking the fish!

This is a pretty awesome fish hatchery. You went on the inside and could see where all the fish were hatches and then you could see the runs they were all in. This is a hatchery that mostly consisted of trout. It is a beautiful hatchery and it was easy to get to from the main road.

Not much to see at the hatchery. We kept walking past the end of the ponds along a road which turns into a trail where the road ends. From the gate where the road ends and the walking trail starts it goes for another 3/4 mile, a total distance of maybe 2.5 miles. Quiet, peaceful, next to Pikes creek. Ferns are budding, and some flowers are out. Heron, blue jays, and other assorted birds to see.

We stopped over here after spending some time in the farms picking blueberries. This was a really nice educational stop over. It only takes about 10-15 minutes to look around but it really is interesting. The bathrooms are also very clean

Neat place with nice displays in the visitor's center. Wonderful outdoor area for walks. Superb for bird watching. If you ask nicely, and the employees have the time, you can get a guided tour. Otherwise, just ask to "feed the outdoor fish." Completely worth it! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Very clean and a wide variety of fish! There was a short nature trail taking you back by some of the overflow ponds. Good place to bring the kiddos!

A great place to stop if your in the area! A very educational experience and fun enough to keep the children entertained!

My Wife and I came here 2-18-24. Snow on the ground, air temp 34 degrees, stream mostly frozen over. We came to hike the Big Ravine, Gil Larson Nature Trail/ Iron Bridge area. We hiked for roughly 2.5 hours, had our 2 medium size dogs with us. The hiking was fenominal with many great views, very nice overall how secluded you are all while being in Bayfield WI. We will certainly be back. We loved it, our dogs loved it.

This was a great little hike tucked behind the Apostle Island visitor center. The top of the rim was a nice easy walk through the woods, but when you venture down into the ravine, the terrain is a bit more moderate. At the bottom there is a nice water fall and flowing creek. Beautiful.

Walked about 1.5 hours worth during the end of June in good weather. Beautiful, serene, well-maintained. Had hoped for a glimpse of the lake, but guess that's available on some other part of the trail.

Beautiful trail tucked behind Bayfield, parking was an interesting situation but maybe I came in on the "wrong end"? Going down into the ravine to the riverbed is an excellent riverside trail, quiet and peaceful.

There-and-back trail that is similar throughout. Not many wildflowers compared to in the ravine. The ravine does impressively plunge down. An easy trail. There are lots of side trails, but we did not explore any of these. Not much of a view at the end of the trail. If you want excitement you can take a thrilling trail (Hemlock Lane) into the ravine and join up with the Gil Larson trail which is much more interesting with the creek and wildflowers.

My husband and I took our 10 year old granddaughter on this beautiful trail. It was clearly marked all the way through, and was well maintained with a variety of habitat areas. Really enjoyed this trail.

It was a beautiful short trail. Very natural. Good way to have your kids started on exploring nature.

It's a wooded trail, the best views are from the trailhead honestly. I would recommend hiking down into the ravine and connecting to the Iron Bridge trail, then looping back through town to the trail head. Make sure to swing into the Apostle Islands HQ building.

This is an awesome short trail with a 2 decent access points. Good for a wide spectrum of ages to enjoy. And if you looking for a place to ponder life and nature there are plenty of seating areas with benches and lookouts. As always; Please respect the trail signs/postings.

Such a unique and comfortable place! High-end tasty drinks with delish Copper Crow spirits and scratch accompaniments. Plus, best bourbon in Wisconsin! It was bustling in a good way with friendly peeps in December. The owner and all staff are so nice! Can't wait to go back. 🤩

Nestled into the tall trees en route to Bayfield from the Twin Ports, I made it a point to swing through. I'm so glad I did! The bartenders were very helpful and kind. I enjoyed a couple of the summer seasonal drinks on a picnic table in the sunshine. The owners are lovely folks involved in every aspect and lovely to chat with if you catch them. Thanks for the cocktails Westin!

Great spirits and fun cocktails! We tasted all their spirits and liked the bourbon, the vodka and the rum best. Highly recommended!

This was a great place to stop for a drink and to warm up by the fire on our way back from hiking the sea caves (lakeside) trail. Bartenders we friendly, the spirts were good! They have a seasonal menu of drinks to try as well! Great atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating

We had such an amazing time here! All the drinks we tried were so smooth, you couldn't taste the alcohol! We visited late on a Friday and one of the distillers asked if we were interested in seeing more of the process. So cool! Can't wait to come back and try the whiskey in a few years!

Adorable place!! Great cocktails. I would like to see more mocktail options- my wife and I came in and she asked about a mocktail and they suggested a soda. Otherwise, a great spot!

Wonderful place! Great selection of unique drinks. I loved the lavender martini and "the dude." Both were even better than I thought they'd be. Everything is delicious and they make so many things! I've been twice now, and can't wait to go back.

I'm all for boutique and small craft spirits but sometimes they can taste like a mocktail ingredient with that lingering flat homebrew aftertaste which you can avoid but it takes some work. This is not that. These premium spirits are botanical and the drink recipes are tailored to their attributes. A bourbon Manhattan sans maple syrup, in the woods, by the lake.

Fun hill if you are like 7 and learning to ski. If you are more like 16 and up and snowboard this is not the hill. This hill is focused towards skiers. and is really small. I timed a run once and it was 9min 34 sec up and 1min 17 sec down on a snowboard. A little kid bombing it on skis will get to the bottom faster.

The staff, is great and the cross country trails are maintained by locals. I've been skiing here for the past 6 years. It may not be the biggest ski hill but it sure is a great one.

Wonderful cross-country ski trails. Wish they would make the classic trails one way however. Also, nice, rustic chalet with snack bar with good cheese curds. Hope I make it back someday.

My fiance' and I came here to attempt to snowboard and we are awful lol but the experience was really fun! Everyone was super nice and I feel like this is a great place to start if you have never been snowboarding. The prices were really cheap in comparison to Colorado and they include snowboarding lessons on-site. I want to bring the kids with us next time we plan a snowboarding trip.

Great staff. Super fun little hill variety of terrain from trees, moguls, steeps and nice groomers. Terrain park could use a little more for beginner level features but ok nonetheless.

So there was a slight miscommunication the first time I went but the staff was gracious enough to talk it out with me and we figure it out. The little time I did spend on the hill with the equipment was fantastic and I am really excited to go back.

The fact that they support young children getting lift tickets and rentals for free makes me want to go to this place all the time. I plan to take my kids to this hill and they will learn how to snowboard and grow up going to this hill the hour drive to get to it is so worth it.

Nice trails for cross country skiing. If the lodge is closed, buy your passes in advance as the internet is minimal to zero. We had to drive down the road until we got ours to work to buy the passes. Passes are a bit pricey at $13 each for cross county skiing, but the trails were very nice and obviously cared for. It was peaceful on the well marked trails too even though the parking lot seemed moderately filled. (We didn't see too many people).

This place has X-country trails for every level of experience. Well groomed and scenic. The staff are all very kind and helpful. A great place to learn and challenge the best.

A fun hill to ski at. I was visiting the Bay Field area and thought I'd check it out.

Very comfortable marina with great clubhouse facilities. The restrooms / showers are very clean, and each shower is in a private room. The clubhouse has a nice lounge space, full kitchen available for marina resident use, and a great patio. However, the local residents complained about noise when we were on our boat, down below, just talking with friends. We weren't even playing music loud. Guess it's a good spot if you require absolute silence after 9pm on a Saturday night.

Great marina. Friendly and helpful staff, wide fairways, big slips, phenomenal wind protection, and amazing location. We've kept our boat here for 2 seasons now. We can easily enjoy sundowners on Long Island, in La Pointe, or in Bayfield. Not to mention the bathrooms are the best in the area. Better than our bathroom at home!

Quiet and peaceful. This marina is a great safe harbor and a nice place to relax. Well kept and well managed the marinas here are loved by their residents and guests. Pikes bay along with bet field in general tend to have their own little micro-climate. If you come during apple fest you can enjoy the thunder at bagpipe crew warm up before their show down town bayfield.

I was downstream without a paddle and Aaron went above and beyond his duty to help me out and was able to get me back up and running the very next day. Thank you!

Friendly, helpful staff who are always willing to go the extra mile make this place a great choice for all your maritime needs in the Chequamegon Bay. The grounds and buildings have all been updated and the the location is great.

The outside winery is adorable. I loved the atmosphere the most. The wine was ok but you go for the experience. The cheese plate was the best!! The people really down to earth.

It was a rainy day and we were looking for stuff to do, and another couple recommended this place for the great wine tasting deal! Bit off the beaten path, but cute spot with good wine. Staff was knowledgeable and happy to answer questions and guide us to the wine we liked best. Cute gifts for wine lovers, too! Vineyards and I think they do tours as well, forgot to ask. We felt the bottles were reasonably priced ($15-25). Oh and free wifi! Right next to an apple orchard as well, wish we could have stopped there but they were closed as it was Sunday afternoon. Definitely would recommend!

Lovely place and great tasting experience. The wines are exceptional ! My wife typically never drinks wine but insisted we buy a case of Devil's Island and Spring Fling. Can't wait to become Seven Ponds Winos.

We were impressed by the vision of the winemaker and his determination to make the best wines, using estate grown grapes, in such a difficult climate. There is something very special about the Bayfield area though, and he seems to have a pulse on its potential. I currently am at home enjoying a glass of "Sweet Sailing" and enjoying it very much.

Great wine tasting experience, our host Phil was excellent...loved the wine tree! Beautiful setting ..we loved the wine so much we bought 4 bottles...great destination keep up the good work.

Seven Ponds Winery was a great stop with amazing wines, fantastic hard ciders, and even better people. I highly suggest the Prairie Star white wine and a seat among the vines.
