Visit the Seminyak Beach in the morning, there are lesser people, there are a lot of foreigner visit here, the places are safe and local people are very helpful and friendly too! We have a coconut juice for breakfast, enjoy the sea wave at the beach, people walking and dog walking, very lovely scene, the life here is so relaxing and give me a lot of thought about what life should be ❤️

Seminyak beach was on the hot and humid side. So there are chances of you burning your skin here, so make sure to carry necessary creams with you. Don't forget to carry your water bottle too. There are stalls selling food and coconut water. This beach is not as crowded, so you can have quiet and peaceful time here.

Spacious beach, quite famous especially for watching the sunset. There will be lots of people, locals & tourists around (hence lots of hotels & cafes), but you are still able to find a spot for yourself to enjoy the sunset. It's easy spending the whole day just laying around or walking around. Totally a lovely beach!

Even though it's crowded but the beach is very clean, no plastic trash. The waves are perfect for surfing. And the important point is that the beach spot is perfect for enjoying the sunset. I love it!

It's a long beach that spans across the West of Denpasar area in Bali. The sand is black due to volcanic origin from ages ago, but it's also very fine and soft. The waves are high and there are places where you can find surfers. To the north part of the beach there is at least one surfing school. Depending on where you decide to stay on this beach, you will find more or less people. It's pretty popular in general, but in some places there are crowds and more classic beach activities, restaurants, bars etc. And in other places - not that many, and it's actually possible to relax and enjoy the nature. Once we saw a sea turtle there! This beach is great for jogging. Especially in the morning time there are a lot of runners - most people run without their shoes, when some run in shoes. Mind that there are several small rivers crossing the beach, it's easy to pass them but shoes will be wet. There are a lot of dogs there. They are mainly well-behaved, but we've seen some dogs barking on people - and their owners did almost nothing. And unfortunately, most people don't clean after their dogs, so keep an eye on where you step or sit.

I would say, the sunset in this place is marvelous. Make sure to come and visit during sunset hours to enjoy the beauty.

Quiet during the day and very peaceful. Gets busy at sunset when the locals and tourists come out as it gets cooler and to see the amazing sunsets.

Dirty gross littered beach. Can’t get in the water for fear of cutting my feet. I didn’t even touch the sand. Lovely sidewalk along the entire stretch of beach with a lot of drink/food vendors, great for running in the morning.

Nice beach, awesome sunset. The left side area full of beach bar with many bean bags. The right side area only have little “warunk” so if you want to enjoy sunset while sitting on the sand I recommend to sit on the right side areas. The downside is there are no decent restrooms, probably because of the current construction going on.

If you want to feel the real Bali, deffinetly visit the beach. Huge waves, surf, sand on your feet and amazing sunsets. You can find restaurants and bars on every corner. When you want to visit this beach I recommend Pelangi Bali Hotel to stay.

Lovely white sandy beaches. The surf is too rough to swim in unless you go between the orange/ red flags but even so … and I didn’t see any lifeguards around. Mind the plastic! There are a few locals selling bracelets, sarongs etc but they’re quite friendly and will leave once they realise you’re not buying. You have to walk all the way to the end of the main road to find the public access path to get on and off the beach. The beach clubs have security staff to stop you using them as a public footpath.

Beautiful beach with hundreds of beachside bars/"surf schools". Constant attention from bar and souvenir sellers but never aggressive and totally understandable as they have to earn enough to live. If you want to avoid them and the ever present mopeds then walk on the beach waters edge and feel the sand between your toes!

We stayed 5 mins away from the beach, the place was always filled with tourists. There are various kinds of shacks for you to sit, relax, sip beers, have food and enjoy the beach. If you are okay with tourists all around, this is the beach to be at, as you'll see a lot of activities happening around you. The sunset is beautiful, sharing some photos below. We were also fortunate to see some baby turtles on the beach, sharing a video below.

It’s sad to see so much rubbish on Bali beaches. But I must say it’s awesome seeing so many volunteers out there cleaning up Seminyak and Petitenget Beaches. Hopefully it will help educate Indonesians on being more responsible with their rubbish.

First time try out surfing. Paid 200k per person. The coach is very helpful and patient. They will to teach till u can stand up. Lesson about 1 hour. U can continue to pay on ur own for another 1 hour. I think is good deal.

The walkway/promenade they’ve newly installed is really nice and I think has changed the ‘face’ of the beach somewhat! It was really nice walking along it in the afternoon. Still don’t really dig the restaurants/cafes bar here as they’re pretty much all the same except for a few.

Really nice beach with amazing afternoon to night experience. It has colorfull seatings along the beach. The sinset is great! The foods around here are not too expensive. A coconut is about 40k. The restaurant along the beach mostly will provide live music at night. The seatings that is rented in the beach are mostly 50k.

One of the better beaches on the west. It was clean, has soft sand, and nearly empty on the gloomy day that we visited. It was just a quick stop at Double Six Beach but from the reviews it seems there are great restaurant and lounging options too so you can stay awhile. Excited to go again someday!

You can rent a beach umbrella and 2 chairs for 100,000 idr for the whole day. It’s at a nice beach. Not very crowded and quite clean. You can swim as well but just be careful as the waves can pull you out and if you are an inexperienced swimmer, it can be exhausting and make you nervous. You can hire surf boards as well here and the locals provide surf lessons as well.

Had New Year's Eve spent here with friends. Huge crowd. The restaurants and cafes were crowded. The queue to the toilet was long. Enjoyed the New Year's Eve vibe. Some expats played with fireworks too close to the crowd and the DJ playing in the open. Fortunately, the staff told them to play with the fireworks more along the coast. The dispersing crowd after the countdown was a downer.

I visited Double Six Beach Seminyak Bali in Desember 2018. I went there with my big family in the evening. This beach has a very beautiful and amazing view, especially at sunset time. And I came here at Christmas holiday, so I can enjoy the Christmas season in here. Double Six Beach has a long seashore and it was very comfortable to spending time in there. I love the situation and the sky at the sunset time, it was so awesome and I speechless. The color of the sky is reddish, and there is some an orange and yellow color in there. In Double Six, we can find couch along the seashore while we enjoy the beach. We can sit there and order some food or drink and enjoy the wonderful view in front of us. We can enjoy the live music too in there, or we can sing at the live music. If you like sunset, I suggest you to visit here, because the view of the sunset is very beautiful. I can't explain by words, you have to come here by yourself here to enjoy the wonderful view of this beach. And there are some luxurious hotels with Seminyak beach view and some bar near this beach. You can enjoy this place in holiday with your family or friends to relax from your daily activities.

Very beautiful beach to go for sure near seminyak, little people in the morning to afternoon and starts to add up by sunrise and becomes packed. So cute with dogs running about playing and just chasing each other, beds offered there for very affordable rate.

A lovely expanse of beach with surf shops lining the shoreline. I personally don't surf and only dropped by briefly, but it was a beautiful sunny day at this lovely beach – the surfers sure did look like they were having a good time.

Lots of vendors bugging you to buy stuff. If you're just ignore them, it's fine. The beaches covered with garbage during the day and if you go surfing you can rent a board for $5 per hour. Try to avoid the garbage at high tide. Great place to watch the sunset just by a beer off someone and they can give you a chair for 40,000

Good place to see sunset. My favorite place is in front of The Coffee Club Legian. Because, we can wait for the sunset while enjoying coffee or having lunch at The Coffee Club Legian. And then go to the beach on sunset time. The beach is enough good maintained. Some stands of street food, but the price is much high for simple local street food.

This beach has beautiful sunset views but it is sadly ruined now by the overtourism & endless garbage on the sand and in the water. Everywhere you walk you will encounter garbage (largely plastic), and even when just standing in the water plastic bags & wrappers will wash past you & even stick to your legs. I was able to collect 2 bags of trash that was right next to me within 10 minutes of standing in the water, and over half the trash I saw got swept away before I could even collect it. While there are plenty of garbage bins by the entrance to the beach, they get barely used & there are no bins on the beach, which leads to most of the garbage ending up on the sand & in the water. The government seriously needs to invest more effort in keeping these beaches clean and encourage & educate the public to dispose of their garbage properly. There are many other beaches in Bali that are cleaner and more enjoyable than this place (though many of them are also getting more pollution as tourism is increasing). While the views are nice & the beach was beautiful in the past, it’s almost impossible to enjoy your time here now when garbage is all around you & it’s honestly sickening to see how we are destroying such beautiful places with our pollution with almost nobody seeming to care or try to fix the problem.

This is definitely one of the most beautiful beach 🏖️ that i have been to so far. Strong yet consistent waves is ideal for surfing 🌊 . Fine white sands and crystal clean seawater are indulging. There are many nice restaurants along the beach. It's a good location to view sunset with a glass of drink 🍹 sitting in front of the beach.

There's a small bazzar at the ground floor where you can find seasonal buys or little handicraft items. The candy shop is always well decorated and a welcoming piece at the entrance. . In summary, Seminyak Square is Always worth a visit.

A great place to do some shopping and have a meal. There are usually multiple vendors in the parking area selling clothing, trinkets, bags, etc, but there are also multiple retailers, a hotel, ATM’s, and several good restaurants.

The latest addition to Seminyak area, a smallish mall in the centre of Seminyak. They've independent stalls selling crafts and fashion on first and second floor. Clean toilets too. Love the candy store, BAKED and the addition of H&M here as well.

A good spot for shopping for local souvenirs The shops in the square itself have fixed price, but reasonable. Even a bit cheaper than the Flea Market. For stalls, you should bargain.

Small and very busy but still worth a visit. Live entertainment, clean and tidy, restaurants and few bars. Also a large supermarket.

Nice Mall in the centre of Seminyak, next to Seminyak Square. Decent products. Some parts are very touristic based, some have good quality for good price. Main floor is great to walk around, and find some souvenirs or good clothes (also linnen). Second floor is empty (probably due to pandemic) and has a nice deco store and H&M.

This is a good place to shop. Indoor air-con mall with many shops on first two floors to spend a few hours. The third floor has a spa. There is even a shop that sells Apple products. Many people throng this place when we visited on 30 Dec 23.

Quiet mall to get some tourist priced souvenirs; the trade off for good AC and being indoors. Some interesting stores for one off gifts anchored by an H&M in the 2nd floor and an spa on the rooftop level. Walking distance to Seminyak Square with some outdoor stalls, cafes, and eateries and a ton of surroundings stores to hit up within the area. You may run into a sales pitch disguised as a scratch/peel and win prize like we did on our last day there. You'll "win" something that requires you to head to a resort to pick up. Seminyak Village is located just beside Seminyak Square. A shopping centre with decent items but not a place for a bargain. There are a few stalls located at the upper floor and some of the items are out-dated. They have very strict entry rules and every person has to put on a mask.

Little Mall in Seminyak Area, super cold air conditioner, have some new store inside & F&B tenant. And plenty Parking area. Need more maintenance for Mushola & Toilet. Nice Place to have lo, chill and shop a bit.

Tiny, compact mall located directly next to Seminyak Square. There is a small food court located in the rear and there is a wonderful spa on the top floor.

This is specifically about the Bali Artisan Essentials stall that wasted 1.5 hours of my life after refusing to honour the original price given 2 days before. No mention that it was any kind of special price, just a brand new jacked up price. Everything in the area is an over priced tourist trap in general but if they'd just given the higher price in the first place I wouldn't have wasted 45 min driving back and bought what I needed at the shop I visited prior. So back again I went. The price was also verified by 2 people I was with at the time. I tried to politely sort out the issue but they refused to budge. The owner who was contacted by the staff (and found to be the person who gave the original price) was unprofessional and made this a distasteful interaction that reflected badly on Seminyak village and all the other stalls as a whole. The disappointing part was that this situation could have easily been remedied but they refused to do so. The only silver lining is that the staff member on duty was polite and handled the bosses poor backflipping well.

A great shopping mall with multiple retailers and also many local sellers with booths. There is a large H & M store here, too, as well as other popular name brand retailers.

Nice aircond break from walking around Seminyak on a hot day. My wife liked the stalls/stands selling nice girly things and leather/bags.

Seminyak Village is cool, but it's a tad pricier than some other spots in Bali. It's not crazy expensive, just a bit on the higher side. The vibe is good, but if you're budget-conscious, you might want to check out nearby places for a similar experience at a slightly lower cost.

Small meaningless mall...I'm seriously wondering whats with the high overrated 5 stars reviews and all that...all these malls built don't attract any tourists at all...waste of time visiting

It’s a good place to shop. There is a candy store named Candylicious. If you park in the basment, you will need to ride a lift, which the buttons can only be touched by one finger.

As the name suggests Flea market but it’s nothing like it. Majority of item are new and prices are overall same as any other place. Don’t put an extra effort to visit this if its not on your way. You can get Bali souvenir from here only. You need to bargain very much because they quote very high price for all the items. Overall not so impressive.

This place is a complete rip off. Now i understand why this place is so empty. The prices are so high and unreasonable. A 15 key chains, 1 magnet, 1 shot glass cost 650000. Thats insane. 1 small pouch and 1 bottle opener was 350000. Its completely overpriced and the store owners were kinda pushy. I understand that they want to make a living but this is just pure dishonesty and a scam.

Really good market in Seminyak. You can find any type of souvenir here. Be careful about prices. You should know the local price and bargain or else you might pay 3-4 times more expensive here. You should bargain and be patient for that 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ it’s hard but if you don’t do it you will pay more money here.

Beautiful market to browse, nice food and cafe places in the surrounding area around the carpark. Definitely must haggle… sometimes they sell for 2-3 times what you can get from regular roadside shops that also sell souvenirs, even the market around Tana Lot was more reasonably priced. If the price they gave sounds reasonable to you, you can probably go 20-25% cheaper. If it sounds ridiculously over priced, it may be so. Usually if you buy a few pieces they may give a cheaper price. You can see what most souvenir shops in Bali sell. Went during a weekday, was not crowded. Leisurely stroll.

The Flea Market in Seminyak, despite its size, offers a charming shopping experience with a notable feature—an expansive warung within its confines. They have a small range of stores. I bought 5 pieces of silk (kimono top, pants, and skirt) for SGD75. You'll get a better range to shop at Ubud than here. I regret shopping here since they didn't have most of what I was looking for.

We tested our bargaining skills against the locals as we went shopping for bags and clothes in the Flea Market. We thought that the rates won’t be so high for unoriginal items but that wasn’t the case. So if you “really” want to shop, I suggest going to authentic stores or thrift shops. Very good art gallery with nice items from international and local artists. Big space to explore as there are more stuff behind the exhibition room. Some of the paintings can be rolled and taken away. Staff is friendly and gave us good introductions.

Nyaman Gallery is lovely as it is casual and open. The public are welcome to enter and browse without feeling pressured in any sense. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable and artists featured are a combination of local and international talent. I had spotted a framed print of interest and staff assisted in acquiring shipping quotations. Although it wasn’t suitable to be shipped, the staff recommended an alternative which was an ideal solution and I purchased two original Vira Olevska prints. Pricing is reasonable and the artworks cover canvas of different mediums and sculptures. I’d recommend coming if you’re looking for variety at reasonable prices with great service.

A good local gallery that represents a variety of artist national and international that are based in Bali. It’s a high end gallery so for some the prices might be shocking but it’s what you expect from professional artists (and what they deserve). It would be nice to seem more artists that are from Bali but the variety is nice. Many beautiful pieces that were tempting to buy.

We had a fantastic experience at Purpa Fine Art Gallery. Sebastien was friendly and knowledgeable and, although we didn’t meet his wife in person, Ari was very communicative via WhatsApp and oversaw the framing of our art efficiently - in fact, this was probably the only time something in Bali was actually done ON TIME. Highly recommended.

What a hidden Gem! We walked into many galleries during our stay in Seminyak and Purpa Fine Art Gallery was really the best. The gallery space is a bit small but attractive with talented artists, some of them already well known in Singapore, Jakarta, Hong Kong... and did exhibitions in Europe. We had the chance to meet Ari, the owner. She knows all the artists and she's very welcoming.

Reservoart Gallery is nothing but a cheater store, utterly untrustworthy. They openly display replicas of art pieces, undermining the essence of true artistic expression. How can art retain its value and authenticity when it’s readily replicated? Moreover, their staff exhibits appalling manners, displaying outright rudeness in their interactions. The business owner’s lack of integrity reflects poorly on the establishment as a whole. Avoid this gallery if you value genuine art and respectful service.

Beware of Reservoart Gallery in Bali! Our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. We made the mistake of misunderstanding the pricing and paid them, only to realise our error the next day. Despite our genuine request for a refund, they callously denied it and refused to even speak with us, let alone address our concerns. As visitors from India with a flight scheduled the next morning, their refusal to honour basic customer rights left us stranded and deeply disappointed. Avoid this dishonest establishment at all costs.

This gallery sells a range of paintings from artists in Southeast Asia. The paintings are great value for original art--ranging from under 100 usd to 2500 usd for huge canvases. The staff does not pressure you to buy, which I very much appreciated.

DO NOT SHOP HERE BEFORE YOU READ THIS! I bought beautiful pieces of art here. They said they would arrange the shipment. I paid for the shipping to the USA and all was good. However, when I received the shipment back home the goods where PACKED in a PLASTIC BAG. You can guess the result. The majority broken or strongly damaged. I reached out to Saya. They didn´t respond for weeks. When they respondend, they alleged it was not their fault, that it was packed according to they policies and I should talk to the shipping company. They excluded themselves out of any responsability instead of trying to find a solution that worked for both. Unfortunately, me-the client, is the one paying 100% of the cost for an error that was not made by me. It was a sad story and a stain to my delightful trip to Bali. Note: I have photos of packaging and art if someones interested. There was an error uploading them.

Probably one of the best shops in Seminyak! The have a great collection of hand crafts and jewelleries. I visited the shop few years ago and they used to sell more furniture and accessories but now it’s more Jewelleries! The staff are friendly.

For my money (and I always seem to spend too much of it here), this is the best place for beautiful pieces of jewellery that you won't find anywhere else. I have been shopping here on every trip to Bali over the past 12+ years and every purchase has been special. My last purchase was a jade bracelet that I know I will treasure for a lifetime.

This shop from the outside doesn't look inviting but when you go inside and talk to the tailor he has fantastic ideas his quality is excellent and his prices are very reasonable he does normal Tailoring makes leather makes Taylor Made shoes and bags has a painting shop a few doors down and also they can do silver and his brother is a woodworker can make anything you want highly recommend him I've been going to Bali for the 42 years and he is certainly the best Tailor of me and is very knowledgeable where to buy anything in Bali cheap no 2 in Bali worth meeting even for advise
