A great experience! A beautiful church, a lot of history that takes you for a couple of moments back in time. A lot of German writings that impress through the meaning of it, but also through the old language used previously. Highly recommended when in Brasov to visit the church.

Beautiful, striking gothic church just at the back of the main square in the old town. Pay for tickets (20 lei for adults) in the small shop opposite the main entrance. The church has beautiful high vaulted ceilings and beautiful carpet decoration and murals. Well worth a visit to gain some history to Brasov.

Great, solemn building. Has the feeling of a museum more than that of a church. And it is. Entrance requires a fee. Still, very much worth going inside.

A very amazing place, you need to pay a ticket in the little room in front but the church is very well kept, with a lot of sign and history, we can see it was built by the catholic, but it then became protestant, and the whole story is written there, a very beautiful place full of history... i highly recommend if you love history and you can also enjoy the beautiful town of Brasov.

A must see when you are in Brasov. Tickets: 20 lei for adults 10 lei for students. Is a quick visit at just one level (ground level) 15-30 minutes. The Black Church is a monument full of history, inside is cold and smells like old wood. The pieces of art (picture, sculpture) are interesting to observe and the huge organ is a unique view.

Always a pleasure to return to the most Eastern Gothic cathedral in Europe, magnificent proof of more than seven centuries of Saxon (Sachsen to be very precise) civilization in Kronstadt~Brasov, in the South-Eastern tip of Transilvania~Siebenburgen. Beautifully restored several years ago and carefully preserved by a small but vibrant German community, proudly surviving in the heart of 2021 Romania.

So simple and clear design. Unlike in France, you need to buy ticket to visit this church, which is a good way to raise money to maintain these beautiful buildings (why don't we do the same in France ?). The explanation of the church history is quite well done, in 3 languages, with some very interesting and beautiful tombstones. Coming from Bulgaria, with many Orthodox churches , the contrast is striking. The Romanian Lutheran churches are very straight forward, beautiful.

Brasova is the place I regret not being able to get into. It was closed when we arrived as there was a long traffic jam on the road. but it also has a very magnificent and intriguing appearance from the outside.

A stunning piece of architecture and a must visit site when in Braşov. This is a really large structure that is stunning and stands out greatly. There is a really nice little store attached to the church that is great for souvenirs and gifts.

Great historical place with information in several languages. Second time I visit the church, first time in 2007, and it have become much better information wise than previously. The 20 lei entrance fee is not a bother as it is well worth the visit.

Majestic gothic cathedral. The exterior is centuries old. Don't miss the impressive organ on the inside. You have to buy tickets from the gift shop across the street, opposite the main entrance.

One of the best churches I have ever been in. Although the entrance isn't free, and inside it's very cold, I can say that it is worth it to visit the church once and look at all the paintings.

Not great, not terrible. Just an average experience. Don't be fooled by the reviews on the internet; most of them are written by Romanians who love their country and do their best to promote it; in addition, in Romania we don't really have awe-inspiring castles and cathedrals, so it is understandable why someone who has never traveled to Western Europe is impressed by this church. I'm not saying that the monument is not worth a visit, I am only saying that the entire experience could be a little disappointing for someone who has seen the majestic european cathedrals. Positive points: - those who appreciate organ music (not my case) can attend the numerous concerts organized in the church - the collection of carpets - finally, money was found for the restoration of the statues on the exterior wall of the church

Even lovely in winter, especially with snowy times. Much more crowded in summer but you should definitely see in winter as well , with a hot cup of wine. There are many budget friendly appetizing restaurants around . You can reach them by walking distance.

Central landmark of the Brașov old city. A lot of shops, cafes and restaurants are present all around the square. A nice place to see and spend some time in. During Christmas there is a market organized here. Also the main city Christmas tree is found here.

Brasov center, I have been over the weekend there and in the events period, so I found stage with performers of live jazz music and different stands with books, arts, or different handwork things to buy. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, sweets shops in the center and arround streets, you can find pharmacy and coffee shops or anything you need easily.

Brasov is one of the cuttiest cities I have been in Romania. This central square is quite big and nice, lovely to walk, enjoy the day, take photos. The restaurants around here are double the price than in the rest of the town, I wasn't very satisfied with the food, but it was ok. There is Starbucks coffee on the main square, as well as ice creams shops and etc.

It is the main touristic square at the lovely Barsov city. There are many varieties of restaurants for local and universal food. The Iconic black church plus other small churches. You can visit the church's then enjoy you lunch and ice cream Not far , there is the cable care station which drive you to mountain top. You will enjoy visiting this square.

Peace 🕊️ Of Place. a very silent and awesome place. Just Seat there and Fell Air. see Sunset.Best Views in Evening. But if you go top by walk so please be careful. Walk way is not good in Rainy season and Winter Season. Otherwise it's best place spend time 😉

An amazing view over the city and all in all a great hike. I was about to take the lift but it wasn't working that day, so I spontaneously decided to walk up there.. It definitely isn't an easy walk but rather a hike but was definitely worth it on that beautiful autumn day

The cable car operates every half hour it seems. Parking is a challenge though. We went up in winter and there was a lot of snow on the ground which made it a bit slippery but we walked to the Brasov sign (nice views of the town) and then walked some of the trail around the back of the mountain. Supposedly there are some more ruins but they were covered by the snow.

Lovely tour up there, choose the red triangle path next to the cable car station, its maximum 1 hour 20 minutes walk but worth it, the view is amazing.

Breathtaking Braşov views. 45-60min walk up or down the hill or can get a cable car.

Magnificent view. You can use the cable car up, and walk down the hill. The coffee shops on the hill don't have the view nor interesting gardens. Return ticket for the cable car is 25 lei for adults.

I liked it so much. The view is amazing. I've been on many mountain peeks where you take the cable car to have a view from up there, but rarely does it compare to this one. It's really impressive.

Beautiful view on the city, definitely worth visiting. The cable car cost 25 LEI up and down. Just be sure to go there at least one hour before end of opening hours, cuz the queue is always forever.

An amazing place to view. You can either hike all the way to the top by following one of the three paths (yellow= easiest, red= medium hike; blue= challenging and longest route), or you can take the tram to the top. However, I highly recommend hiking to the top of the mountain as it’s a magnificent experience.

A cool historical street to check out. From what I understand this street was created for firemen who needed to cut through the city quick to get to a fire. Nice piece of history.

Rope Street is worth strolling by day, but it's more appealing by night. If you have the chance, pick a creepy walk along this alley that was once used as passageway for early firemen.

Leave a positive mark on these walls full of writings from all over the world and try the tea from Zuze at the end of the tunnel, for a complete experience of calm while in Brașov.

A super narrow cobblestone street covered in graffitti. Not recommended for claustrophobic people. It's said to be one of the narrowest street in Europe. Anyway, it's worth visiting in a hot sunny day, if you're looking for a shady place.

Beautiful place, well maintenance, Employee are very nice and Professionals. My son had struggled with something way up on the tree. One of the employee imminently spotted him and came to help him. We all had great time.

What a fun experience!! From super easy games and obstacles to the ones that are entirely excruciating and pushing your skills and body to its limits to hold on and push through to complete! Had a fantastic time and it's worth all the aches you might have the next day!

The best experience what you can get on brasov if you search a challange

Very professional and helpful staff, amazing scenery, fabulous tracks suspended in tall trees. I fell off one of the obstacles, but i got down safely with no injury. Highly recommend it to all thrill seekers.

So amazing and organized, very safe, amazing zip line above noa lake. Going again. Worth every Euro and more. Would not mind to pay more, they do an excellent job.

Bad service, they lied to us and we paid for transport up and down. But when we was finished we the tour everything was closed and lights was off in the Center/entrance 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 You not go if you have children that are very interessted in Dinosaurs and don’t expect any service 😡😡😡😡

To visit this park free up to 5 hours from your day. Three hours - is time for activity itself + entry line + time to take and return an equipment + instructions. If you go with kids and want to go with them through the kids routes, prepare yourself to be flexible ))) The main zip line over the lake is awesome! Highly recommend this place

The biggest adventure park I have been to. Very high quality equipment and very safe. The long Zipline (350m) is very cool. Only problem was the wait time in the beginning to get the tickets and equipment.

Amazing place, can spend many hours here on the activities. Good for all ages. There are easy, intermediate, and advanced courses to do. The park is very safe and there are staff to assist when you need help. Even if you are experienced they have a very challenging black course to do. There is also a large zipline that goes over the water and various smaller ziplines throughout the courses. Tons of fun!! Highly recommend doing this when here in Brasov!!

Lots of fun had ziplining and trekking through the lush forest at Adventure Park Brasov. Many different fun and challenging levels for all ages. And the snack shack on the premise had delicious fries, hotdogs and pizza for refueling after our zipline/trekking experience.

The cable car is not operational on weekdays at the moment due to maintenance work. You can walk to the Brasov sign at the peak along a scenic but rather rugged trail, which takes around an hour if you are moderately fit. There is a small cafe at the top which was also closed. There are three different trails you can do, the red triangle trail starts at the stairs next to the cable car. The trail was described as easy but I don’t agree, it is more a moderate level walk as most of the trail is quite rocky

There's a ramp to the ticket office, but still stairs to the cable cars. This could be mentioned before getting all the way up. Especially as the ramp is very steep and a work out to get up on. Also, the cable car goes to a place that is inaccessible for wheelchairs and unless you hike a bunch there's nothing to see, as the view is hidden behind the building. That's okay, I understand mountain paths don't work, but they might want to mention it upon purchasing a ticket. Plus everyone is standing inside the cable car, so it's hard to see anything from there. When going down, the ramp posed an actual safety hazard. The steepness and type of material mean you have very little grip. Even with breaks on the wheels, I was just unintentionally sliding down.

We got on quickly, we spoke to another couple who had waited over an hour. There’s a steep walk up hill to get to the cars. Toilets at the bottom are at a charge however inside the cable car building they are free. The car doesn’t take long to get to the top. Some lovely picture opportunities up to the top. Once you get to the top there is some over priced tacky souvenirs. Where appropriate footwear as the train is very rocky and uneven and in bad weather could be very slippy. A disappointing factor was that you could not stand in front of the Brasov sign for pictures.

It's a nice and easy means of transport to get to the top of Tampa. At around noon we had to wait in line about 30 mins to get to the cable car. The bathroom was also not that clean. Also it's nearly impossible to reach this place by phone as there is no available phone number.

Very cool experience. We went on a weekday and there were no long lines. We hopped on the cable car almost immediately. The views from the top were very interesting, spanning the vista of Brasov beneath. Not much of tourist infrastructure at the top, but that's actually a good thing because it just looks more green and relaxing. You essentially go up, do your viewing and come down. Not much to it but the price is low and it doesn't take long. Definitely recommend for a quick activity.

Well wort it. The view is amazing!

Very crowded, lots of poorly supervised and ill behaved children running around (bored). Slow moving line: a 70 minute wait for a 3 minute ride. Overall worth it, better than climbing up the mountain on foot. The view from the top is great.

Not sure what schedules are like at other parts of the year but today the last ascent was 16:00 and the last descent was 17:00. A cool ride up and nice views of Brasov town.

It was not crowded. I recommend it especially when there is snow bcz it’s difficult to get to the mountains in another way. Pets are allowed but on leash only

You will walk through this gate on the way from the old town to the old Romanian neighbourhood. It's pretty old and worth a look.

Schei Gate looks good, I was not very impressed. The nice thing about is that they managed to make the cars cross through it in the middle of the city, somehow combining the old with the new.

One of the former gates of the Brașov citadel, a nice historical monument. I've seen it many times also because close to it (on the climbing streets that are to the west of it) there is a big chance to find a parking place, that is usually hard to find in Brașov, be it free or for payment.

Fantastic another great landmark to see. Plenty of cars always passing by so be careful when getting a selfie. Best place to stand is in the middle of the road once the road is clear.

This is a architectural building free to visit to every tourist. In an 3 arches building, providing access to old town via 2 pedestrian walkways and 1 automobile road. There is also a nearby restaurant with a similar name

On a recent trip to Sighisoara i stopped in Brasov only to eat at this restaurant again. I don`t know why has so few reviews, because it is simply exceptional and far beyond everything in Brasov. The food menu is very well accompanied with the wine menu, in the proper glass at the proper temperature. If you really want an authentic french cuisine, do not miss this amazing dining epiphany.

thanks to it's unique owner and very professional kitchen crew this restaurant is truly outstanding - not just in brasov, but in hole romania! we had an extremely delicious 4 course dinner guided by some fantastic wines, one of them a 1995 chateau canon for an unbelievable good price! the host is absolutely professional and has a very good sense of humor, too 🙂 and he also speaks german! all together we spent about 1 month in nearly all over this beautiful country with good and not so good restaurants, but Poarta Schei 4 is definitely the place to be for all food and wine enthusiasts!

The place was decently clean, the heating worked well, we were provided with tea and coffee, fairly close from center square, about 8 minutes of walking.

Great place with affordable prices and nice staff. At first I didn’t have big expectations considering how many cars there where outside the park, but is a huge facility, when u are inside you don’t realize how many people actually are. One can enjoy three different saunas, a so called cave (which is a must try for relaxation), an Olympic pool, jacuzzis, outdoor pool connected to the indoor one and have some fun on the indoor slides. The facility is full of real plants and light, it was made as a huge green house, floating on the main pool u can watch the sky above. The only inconvenience are the locker rooms and the bathrooms because it is for both men and women and privacy is almost impossible. As an overall, we had some great hours there and for sure we’ll go again.

Back in 2017 I was a part of an American Military group the do training with multiple nations in Romania. Me and a big group of fellow soldiers given the opportunity for some good old fashioned fun. Went to this exact place and had a great time. 5 outta 5 would come back.

We had a great time during our visit and we were a big family with big and small children and we all had super fun and relaxing as well. My little one lost one earring in the pool and we were sure is gone but after a few days they contacted us to tell they have found it. 👏👏👏 Thank you very much for everything and we will definitely come back .

Fine location for relaxation through water therapy. I guess The parking lot is not big enough, the place was really crowded, the personnel was nice. It’s a nice place for families.

Not the best waterpark I've been too,but not the worst.Although clean, adult pool cramming with unsupervised children that were constantly jumping and disturbing.Although there are 2 children designated pools with sliding flumes. Water temperature okay, but no sitting areas in the pool,had to lean against the edges, bit difficult if you have mobility issues as I have. I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing sauna/ swimming experience. Overall ,a disappointing experience.

It's not the cleanest place but it's understandable, people don't shower before entering the pools thus bringing a lot of stuff into the pools, more often grass. The food is really good and at an affordable price. Parking is not a problem.

A fantastic destination with a plethora of aquatic attractions tailored for kids. The spacious indoor pools are impressive, but keep in mind they might be closed during the summer months. Expect crowds, particularly when temperatures soar above 30°C. Arriving early could help you avoid peak hours and potential congestion.

It’s great to have this place in Brasov, I’m glad we can go here to swim and relax at spa/sauna. But I couldn’t give it more than 3 stars. There are a lot of things that need to be improved: - showers are not functioning properly all the time - some toilet doors can’t be closed - jacuzzi water smells most of the times - it’s sometimes overcrowded - it’s not be open until 22.00 - personnel is sometimes rude - overall it looks like an old space, with little to no investements in the past years

Large main family pool with slides, a splash area, and wading pool, jacuzzis, and a huge lap swimming and diving pool. I didn't find out what system is used to treat the water, but it does not reek of chlorine. There is a relaxation room where you can float in shallow water while music plays: a dry saline sauna; a scented steam room, and an extra hot sauna. Towels and robes are available for rent. There is also a workout gym. Massages are available, but they cost extra and need to be booked. Early April is still too early in the year for the outdoor river pool and big slides to be activated, but I still had a wonderful time, relaxing, exercising, and detoxing. The one downside was the food served in the restaurant - that was mediocre. But otherwise a great way to spend a day, an afternoon, or an evening .

It's small on the inside and can get crowded fast. During the summer it has outdoor pools and water slides. The big pool has the jumping area partially closed.

Nice experience for kids. Lazy river outside is very enjoyably. The slides have adult surveillance and you always feel safe. They have a restaurant inside and terrace outside with fresh and good food like soups, fries, pizza. It can get crowded during weekends. They have saunas and warm water pools indoor and a restaurant also.

Great place. Prices are decent, water was clean like everything else. Good staff. I went here for the first time in May, outside pool was not open, still had a lot of fun for 4 hours. Water slides look very sturdy and well built, a bit crowded but a lot of fun. I will come back for sure.

Everything was a smooth process, at the entrance we had to wait for about 5-10 minutes, we choosed to go afternoon weekday as is more quiet and less busy, prices are fair, food is OK, nothing special but fair for the price and the crowd. They had no iced latte but made me one even though. Water is fresh and clean. Recommended.

Even lovely in winter, especially with snowy times. Much more crowded in summer but you should definitely see in winter as well , with a hot cup of wine. There are many budget friendly appetizing restaurants around . You can reach them by walking distance.

Central landmark of the Brașov old city. A lot of shops, cafes and restaurants are present all around the square. A nice place to see and spend some time in. During Christmas there is a market organized here. Also the main city Christmas tree is found here.

Great Square, outstanding and spacious area. Beautiful area too. Just crowded most of the time but surely cant complain that this is one of the busiest areas in Brasov. Fine restaurants nearby, haven’t tried many. I would consider you go somewhere else if you would like to go to a café or restaurant but its your peoples’ choices. Its definitely crowded on the weekends.

First viewing of the Council Square is one has never been in Bran opens yours eyes to how unique it is . Great views all round up to the Cable Car the Brasov sign on the hill. The Black Church is next door and worth a visit. Very Germanic or Hungarian but the architectural gems abound if one looks at the unique buildings that abound in every direction.

Brasov center, I have been over the weekend there and in the events period, so I found stage with performers of live jazz music and different stands with books, arts, or different handwork things to buy. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, sweets shops in the center and arround streets, you can find pharmacy and coffee shops or anything you need easily.

Brasov is one of the cuttiest cities I have been in Romania. This central square is quite big and nice, lovely to walk, enjoy the day, take photos. The restaurants around here are double the price than in the rest of the town, I wasn't very satisfied with the food, but it was ok. There is Starbucks coffee on the main square, as well as ice creams shops and etc.

It is the main touristic square at the lovely Barsov city. There are many varieties of restaurants for local and universal food. The Iconic black church plus other small churches. You can visit the church's then enjoy you lunch and ice cream Not far , there is the cable care station which drive you to mountain top. You will enjoy visiting this square.

Nice place. It's pretty spacious and very clean. Many food options available and some historical landmarks are right there as well. Keep in mind tho that it can get hot since there is basically no shadow on the square, and Brasov is a small town, so don't expect too much entertainment there.

One of the best Xmas markets I've been to. Great decorations, stalls selling actual, genuine, locally produced items from honey, bakery goods, meats, wines and others. Not the cheap plastic, kitsch that everyone sells like in other countries. Really enjoyed this market and made it one of the best Xmas days I've had in a long time. Ofc the company helped

It is truly one of the most beautiful plazzas I have ever seen! Reminds me of other Saxon-style squares in other cities like Krakow and I must say, I may have even enjoyed it some more (looked more tidied). This is one of the most important landmarks of the city, not only does it date back to the 15th century but it pertains to Romanian history quite unlike the monuments of the old citadel which are German. Unfortunately, while the church is indeed beautiful with some stunning outside murals it is not very well maintained and this is such a shame. I remember visiting 20 years ago and it was in a far better shape than now. The inside is dimly lit, there is a huge souvenir shop in dissonance with what a place of worship should be and often the place is closed for no apparent reason. Photos even by phone are not allowed, the old murals are in places impossible to see though so not much of a loss. The garden is nice in the summer and well maintained but the personnel are quite grumpy and not fans of tourists.

This is a very beautiful Church with an amazing architecture. The entire area is very beautiful and gives you a nice vibe. If you go near it you must go and visit it.

The Church is grandios and with gothic architecture. Inside, some of the icons are very old and beautifully painted. During the Liturgy the chorus sings very beautifully. Also, in the surrounding premisses there are statues and monuments related to important people from history.

A beautiful church in a really wonderful part of Romania. We stumbled across it by accident whilst wondering about on a cold and crisp morning and were very impressed with the fine (and very old) architecture inside. Wonderful paintings inside and very few people about.

I wouldn't say the church is a must see. It is definetely nice to look at from the outside and lies in a nice area of Brasov. Due to the normal, partly dirty windows and the two turnt off chandeliers, there is not a nice light inside, you can barely see the (beautiful) paintings that cover walls and ceiling. The big souvenir stand inside is a bit irritating and half of the main room is cordoned, which doesn't add to the atmosphere. The church does have some potential, a couple of lights would make the interior more interesting. Taking photos is strictly prohibited.

What an amazing museum and tour! It was more than worth the visit. We went on our first day to Brasov, and it was closed; so so happy we returned. The guide was incredibly kind and full of fascinating information that he presented in a fun way. He made the visit interactive, as we were “pupils” of the school for the day. I visited with my 11 year old son, and we were both surprised at how much he enjoyed the visit too! He gave our guide full credit for making it an experience and one he wants to return to! Thank you!!!

Not sure how to present the school and experience... For me it was welcoming and educational. My brain struggled to remember the bits and pieces of the story that I knew. The short tour takes you through an important part of Romanian history. The tour is condensed, a lot of information in a short time, but the guide was engaging and the stories good.

Though I found myself in this location in late afternoon, it is worth special attention and a special visit. One of the special highlites of Brasov. The territory is great. I Haven't managed to visit the museum because of the late time. The cathedral is GREAT! A breathtaking ensemble. I just walked around it, watching and admiring... For now I can 't describe a lot, having not seen much. But sure - this highligt is worth a separate time, spent.

Absolutely a must see if in Brasov, the tour the guide gave us emmersed us in another world (so sorry we did not get your name, you are an absolute credit to the museum) that we were honoured to be part of, part hystory part theatre play, you learn and love to rediscover great men that made hystory and lots of artefacts available only here. Such an interesting museum! Our guide was so kind and knowledgeable. The museum itself was very interesting and we gained a lot of insight into the rich history of Romania. The tour was engaging, intriguing and interactive. As a student teacher from Dublin this museum was a must see for me and it didn’t disappoint! I recommend for everyone who happens to be in Brasov to pay a visit to this little museum.

Very interesting experience! We had a very nice and knowledgeable guide. Learnt a lot about the history of Romanian school and first books The guide was friendly and held the whole tour in English. However, we felt that the whole tour went on too quickly and the guide was very rushed, moving from subject to subject almost immediately and without leaving any time for questions

"The first Romanian School " Museum main building is in renovation but you still got the opportunity to learn about the history of the language and education of Romanian culture in the Barac house. Lovely museum and church, filled with rich history, artefacts and a knowlegeable and fun guide. Great and unique gifts as well to take home. Worth a visit and while it may seem pricey, it's a small price for conserving a significant part of Romanian people history.

We just so happened to stumble on a tour that Ion was giving. He is extremely knowledgeable about Romanian history and events leading up to the establishment of the first Romanian school. Being an American born Romanian, it made me realize how little I knew of my ancestral country, but also motivated me to learn more and be proud of being Romanian. Ion is very engaging and presents very well. I will be coming back here with more of my family in the future! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone to come visit.

It's a nice-looking synagogue, although not worth the 10 lei entrance fee (there's nothing to visit, and everything can be seen from the window). The entrance fee should be considered as a donation.

A large and beautifully constructed synagogue, about 100 meters from Schei Gate. Inside is peacefully silent. stained glasses on the windows bears names of the cities in Is-rael. Tourists’ entrance is 10 lei.

The Beth Israel Synagogue in Brasov (Hebrew: בית ישראל), a neological synagogue in the vernacular language, stands at 29 Poarta Șchei Street in the center of Brasov, Romania, behind the street front, on a plot surrounded by houses. The synagogue still plays a ritual role. The building complex includes a community seat and a kosher restaurant. Beth Israel Synagogue is included in the list of National Historic monuments in Romania under the number BV-II-m-B-11515.

A large and beautiful synagogue. The entrance cost 10 lei. There are stained glass on the windows of cities in Israel.

Wonderful edifice both on the outside and the inside, although I feel they could have done a better job with telling the history of the place and the Jewish community of Brasov. That being said, the entry fee of about two euros is reasonable for what you get to see. There is a kosher restaurant nearby as well as a monument commentating the Jews who were killed during the Holocaust.

Be mindful of the opening hours, closed after 15:00. Beautiful tradition in the backyard with the cherry trees. All in all-Jewish homes of prayer are very beautiful places wherever they are

I didn’t go in but it was so beautiful on the outside. I love religious buildings and this is the finest synagogue I’ve seen.

Very nice looking restored synagogue from the outside. However to actually enter you must pay 10 lei. I have a problem on principle with paying money to enter places of worship. As a romanian jew, all I want is to visit a little slice of my tradition and history. What if I was actually very religious and having a spiritual crisis or moment and needed the sanctuary of a synagogue to pray? Would I still need to pay? Very disappointing.

The location is quite good to capture the old city of Brasov including the Tampa hill and the BRASOV text from above. Reaching the white tower is quite easy. You will have to go to the streed behind the walls and then at some point cross the first bridge to the left and hike to it. The tower was not opened on a Monday and I don't know if it ever opens for visiting.

An interesting site that offers some of the best views across Braşov. The walk up is a rewarding one with stunning views, it is just a shame that the tower is covered in graffiti.

Narrow high stairs to climb up. Much more difficult than the black tower. But it's well worth it once you get on top. Great that there are multiple views from around the city to enjoy the entirety of the center area.

Fiftish steps upwards a steep hill lead to a noteworthy local historical site. Despite the panoramic views it offers, this place craves attention... No public acces over the past years.

This place has a really nice view over the old part of the Brașov town. It is easy accessible, but the stairs can kill someone with heart problems. Can be improved and provide a better experience for the tourists. When I visited it wasn't open for visits. It should be better promoted.

A walk through the woods or climbing uphill hundred stairs ~ it is probably the best place for Brașov city viewing. Standing on the wooden balcony at the pavement of the White Tower, you can spot all the high rises churches, buildings of the old city center and also the surrounding medieval walls, hilltop fortress, and bastions. Beautiful place!

I enjoyed walking the Street Behind the Walls (Strada După Ziduri) then climb the stairway to the Tower. The Tower itself needs restoration.

The White Tower is one of the four medieval outer watchtowers of Brasov. It takes its name from its white plasterwork.

I think you're gona find what your looking for here, a variety of shops and a pretty neat food court, the mall management is active and there are activities in and around the mall most of the time... a big auchan hypermarket is inside and there is a laundry place and a tailor.

Pretty big mall with many shops that you can see all on their website, the interactive map. I bought food, drinks, pet food, many useful things for house, tools from Auchan supermarket, I met with friends, business partners at the coffee shops, even ride my bike on the ramps next to the mall. I like the place.

Awesome mall! A lot of shopping is available, and the food court is huge. Parking is a breeze with massive lots available, and I really like how it is a one story building, and it is basically impossible to get lost there.

Good size mall with all sort of shops, cinema, food court, Auchan supermarket and very nice soft play area for children (hard to find is in the area of food next to the cinema). Highly recommended.

The Mall is okay, but in the dining area there are no safe chairs for small children (0-3). This was very much below our expectations. I have never seen such poor conditions for small children ever before. I cannot recommend this shopping centre for families.

Coresi is the best mall in Brasov, really big, diverse, good food, nice architecture. It is the reason for which a whole neighborhood in Brasov was built. Simple am luxurious, plenty stuff to do, a lot of shops in the mall and nearby. Kid friendly place, Besides old historical town, Coresi is the next best option to spend time in Brasov. An awesome place to see sunsets 😍😍

Excellent shopping mall with lots of choice of different products, cinema and food court. It’s really big, so make sure you have enough time to check all the shops. Price level depends on a shop. You can find clothes, shoes, cosmetics, house goods and a very good hypermarket. If you’re in the area and searching for something, I can definitely recommend to visit this mall.

Coresi is a modern place great for everyone, for those who are looking to do some shopping, have a nice meal or just a relaxing day out at their cinema. Coresi got a nice selection of shops and restaurants, modern cinema,a large parking plot, kids indoor and outdoor play area, even a bitcoin exchange machine and a stunning view over Tâmpa. Definitely worth a visit🔝

Nice big Tourist information centre . Near centre easily located and parking nearby . Short walk to Historic centre and all the main attractions

I stopped by to inform about the transilvania tourist card I red about to visit the fortified churches, but the lady at the counter had no clue, she thought it didn't exist anymore but she wasn't sure. She wanted to send me to the ticket office of the black church, where I came from after informing there. I just felt that everybody was sending me away. No help at all. Even rude, like stating it wasn't her problem...

Grim. Two miserable employees who greeted us with nothing more than a filthy look and gave a kind of comically (and very unrepresentative) bad impression of Brasov. Poor information, badly presented. Great if you want to see postcards of other cities like Paris or London as these take up much of the display :D There are some useful hiking maps if your prepared to ignore the glares and rummage for yourself.

Worst tourist center i have ever visited. The lady working there seemed to be bothered by my questions about what to visit in the town and the region. The map of Romania showed Yugoslavia as Romania's neighbour country :D avoid going, use Google instead.

Didn’t look open from outside and not very noticeable. Entry at the front of the beautiful Building. Lots of brochures and the lady is helpful. She showed me what was open on Monday to see and gave me two tour brochures. But they don’t book anything, you have to call yourself to find out. She can help with the bear sanctuary.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly . They drew arrows on our map show the best route we should take to see the attractions we were interest in as well as explaining the public transport system 👍😊

If you work in a tourist information and you are suppose to help tourists, then do it! My friend and I went there because we desperately needed to print our bus tickets (the bus company doesn't accept the ticket downloaded on your phone) and due to being Sunday, everything was close. We kindly asked to print them there (it was one page only) and the lady refused! Having no work to do and the printer behind her.. Instead, she sent me to a hotel to ask for the print. Unbelievable! Show a bit of empathy.. It can happen to you too... Disappointing!
