This is the worst hotel we've ever stayed in. It was supposed to have a vintage look, and it sort of does in the hallways and breakfast area, but as far as the furniture in the room goes - it's just old, not vintage. We paid for the most exclusive room they offer, I believe it's called superior room, and it's not even close as good as it looks in the photos. Furniture is old, bed creaks with every single move, it's not particularly clean. We were on the base floor so there isn't really a "city view" as it says, our view was of the street and parked cars. The main issue we had was heating. It's practically non-existent. You get one small heating device for two rooms and a bathroom with walls over 3m tall so it's really hard for the room to get warmed up. We had to move the heater with us constantly, if we wanted to take a shower, or sit in the living room or sleep in the bedroom. We went to the reception to complain, the first thing they said is: "Yes, there isn't heating" ????? even though they said on the Booking website they have it, and then they said the heating starts around 6 pm, but you only have two small radiators (half the size of the regular kind) in both rooms and they are definitely not enough (zero in bathroom). You also get lots of duvet covers and blankets which is fine, but if the heating was on (as they mentioned it in their Booking website description), we wouldn't need as many blankets. You also have a coffee machine and a fridge in the room, which is nice. The staff was somewhat nice and helpful, but the heating issue really ruins the entire mood while staying in the hotel. We noticed the issue as soon as we walked in, the hallways are literally like walking around the freezer.
They also offer breakfast, but the choice is very limited and if you have a special diet you maintain, I suggest you talk with them first. Basically for breakfast they offer bread, butter and jam, sausages, salami, cheese, tomatos and pickles, scrambled eggs, maybe an oatmeal and that's pretty much that. I also have to add that most of these foods are cold, probably because they have been sitting in the breakfast area, that also doesn't have heating. They also offer parking, it's 8 euros per night per car.
All in all, the best thing they have to offer is the location. Mind you, it was winter time when we went so heating was definitely more important to us than the location, if we knew the situation was like this, we wouldn't choose this hotel. We could argue that it's because we didn't read all the reviews but at same time, they didn't put up a notice that there might be a heating issue. I am sure you can find much better places to stay in.
