I think this was my third time visiting this place, and I highly recommend it. I've been here for both big groups with a course menu, and with my friends ordering a la carte menu. The rooms are individually separated, so you have a bit of a privacy from other groups, but of course you'll hear others and others will hear you if you are loud. All three times I've been here, it felt busy, so i highly recommend making reservations.
The food hear is mostly Yuzu based, so most of the menu is a little citrusy. They have a la carte menu, as well as course menu. If you are a bunch of guys going here, I wouldn't recommend the course as I didn't think it was fulfilling. Additionally, if you are ordering the course, I again highly recommend to make reservation with a course in mind as it might be cheaper than doing a walk-in course. The a la carte menu is decent with many options available. I personally liked the thick cut beef tongue, a single order is for no more than 2 people. The all you can drink menu is decent, as the Premium Malts is included in it. If you do the A la Carte menu, you can also add on the all you can drink to it. (I think you can do the 2hour all-you-can-drink menu for 800JPY after finding the coupon online.)
For the seating, you will first have to take off your shoes right after you arrive on the 4th floor. You will then be asked to place your shoes in a shoe box located to the right of the entrance. The staff will then take you to your table(s). The tables are low to the floor, but not all tables will have the open space beneath the tables, so for those that have long legs, good luck. As I mentioned above, the rooms are mostly private, so the only time you will have to call the staff is for the first order. Your first order, if not pre-reserved, will require you to order the A la Carte, or the course menu, and if you want to include the all-you-can-drink to it. After that, you will use the tablet located at each table to order your drinks and what not for your evening.
I hope you will enjoy the evening at Yuzu no Komachi as much as I did.
