Had a dinner date with my daughter in this place. We didn't have reservation, luckily there were a table for us.
The foods were great. We love the beef and Canadian bacon. The staff were very friendly. The staff gave my daughter lemon lime drink on the house because she does not drink alcohol.
Love the food and the services.
I normally don’t comment but dinning in Tzin Wine&Tapas is really a “wow” experience for me and my boyfriend. We were so pleased and positively surprised by how amazing the food is but at the mean time how reasonably priced things are. If you’re there the first time, diffidently try out the “Feed me” menu, it’s absolutely wonderful! The staff there are also so nice, the woman gave us some more wine for free to go along with our last dish because we finished ours a bit too early. All in all, amazing food, great atmosphere, wonderful experience. Will 100%come back again!
The place is very small and very tight but quite nice. One side of the standard seat is a bench with cushions and pillows. It is a bit dark as you come in but once seated it is fine. It's very small entrance door to find. At first I wasn't sure if I had come through the back.
We did the recommend Feed Me / chef's choice option. Food is served one dish at a time. The best were the risotto (not on menu) and the pork belly with mushrooms sauce. We did not enjoy the beef steak as we are not rare or medium rare consumers. Did not think to mention this to the server. Not sure if we could have sent back to kitchen to ask for it to be more cooked. We also didn't think bacon on crostini was as special as the reviews raved about it. We ordered a glass of red and white wine. They gave us taste tests first with different red wine before we settled.
We booked a week in advance for our seats on Open Table. It asked us if we were celebrating anything. It was for our birthdays. Nothing special was done except the server wished us.
Service was good as they changed out our plates after every dish. They even store your coat for you if you want. They topped up our waters promptly. Explained the dishes to us. Helped us choose our wines.
Cost $150 for 2 people. Very high end fine dining. Definitely for special occasions.
Honestly an amazing dinner everything was amazing! Went with the feed me dinner (tasting menu) tried stuff I normally wouldn’t enjoy but I loved every single course. Super friendly staff who never let our glasses go empty and were super informative. Would recommend to anyone passing through Edmonton!
Found this gem hidden away just off of Jasper Ave. Pro-tip: this is a very small location with limited seating so do yourself a favor and book a reservation to avoid disappointment.
The patio was so cute and welcoming when we first got there. The staff were amazing at making us feel special and we were more than happy to let them pick our wine to pair with our meal(they were great choices that we all enjoyed).
Each dish came out as a different course which was great for our party who were catching up after being apart for so long. All the food was so amazing that I forgot to take pictures. It was all flavourful, tasty, and well seasoned. Each of us had a different favorite dish but also enjoyed everything.
My favorite was the Gnocchi with mushroom and cherry sauce, followed closely by the Bacon.
The only drawback from the night was that nearby parking was pretty expensive but also not unexpected for the neighborhood.
