Definitely an interesting visit. About 2 hours seems like a good amount of time. When we were there a volunteer shared the story and I think that helped. You definitely want to make sure you hear the story live or from the video booth before you see the submarine. I think I would have lost interest the other way around.

It's good for a quick visit. There are docents who are available to answer questions. There is a video briefing some history. The actual Hunley is there behind glass in a chemical bath. You can view it from the top only. It has many interactive displays throughout the small museum. The entry fee is $18 .

I visited today as part of a Homeschool Group. This was one of the most interesting historical sites I have ever visited. The tour guides know their stuff. I highly recommend if you have any interest or connection to submarines or history.

Small museum with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Seeing the actual boat is pretty fascinating and the process the archivists are going through to preserve it is something to applaud. My 10 year old enjoyed it. Listened to a talk from a volunteer on blockade runners. Several interactive exhibits and learning opportunities.

A Fascinating story. I recommend this museum to anyone who is loves history, or enjoys trying to solve a mystery . I was considering a book in the gift shop for my grandson, then decided against it. Now I want to buy it, but it is not available on the website. Is there anyway I can order it thru the 'Friends' ?

Very interesting museum. A part of history that I had never learned about in school. Hard to imagine the courage of the 8 men who manned and died in this vessel.

Fantastic and must see for history lovers. Incredible story told through a very well done exhibit that covers the man who built the submarine and it’s doomed predecessors. You can see the submarine still going through restoration as well as personal artifacts of the crew. Arrived early on a Saturday morning as other crowds were arriving - suggest arriving when first opens or late morning. Great gift shop and afterwards visited the crews burial spot only a few miles away - get directions and tips from the friendly staff. For both museum and burial plan on 4-5 hours.

Excellent an interesting museum. It is a temporary location as there are plans to move to a more permanent location in the future. That hasn’t been settled yet, but given what they have in this location, I imagine a permanent location will be grand. Anyway, this was a very informative museum. Every piece of information is well presented with a lot of good imagery and graphics. It is also good for children in that there is a lot of things they can touch and learn. There is a short film that documents the night that the Hunley sank the Housatonic, and when she was lost. There’s even a partial replica of the Hunley that you can climb in and get a feel for how dark it was inside, and what the cranks would’ve been like. Note that you cannot fully crank. But the crown jewel of the museum, of course is the Hunley itself. Before you view her, you can look at the valuable restored items that were on Lieutenant Dixon’s person when he perished. Among the most famous piece being the $20 gold coin that stopped the bullet that was fired at him during the battle of Shiloh. You view the Hunley from a raised platform behind glass, so it’s visually not the most appealing view, but it is still fascinating. I am told if you become a member, you might have a better view, but that you’ll definitely be able to view some recovered items that are not on display as of yet, during member days in October.

The place is fascinating! Their mission is to preserve history. History is part of what makes us who we are. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous and informative. I was fortunate enough to hear Stuart Morgan's presentation which ended in an applause of questions from a captivated audience. I mist hughly recommend it!

This museum & the exhibits are absolutely fabulous! Please include this attraction on your visit to Charleston. Very impressive. I'm happy that so many people put the time & effort into this restoration project.

Tanger Outlets Charleston is a nice and clean outdoor mall. It has a large variety of stores. And if you are patient, you can discover some great sales and bargains. If you are in the Charleston area, stop by and check it out.

Visited this outlet while visiting Charleston. I loved the amount of stores it has and nice place to shop. The outlet was clean and I like the beautiful decoration like the christmas tree, etc. The mall design was beautiful and easy to walk from stores to stores and like other outlets has plenty of parking spaces.

Such a beautiful place with a lot of things to do, eat and buy. The bathroom is so amazingly clean and they have a lot of traffic coming in and out. The only thing that needs organizing is all the stores being obligated to open at the same time because it makes for a smoother shopping experience from start to finish. They have several places to sit, park and little outside play areas for the kids. The parking lot is always watched by security and it is a safe place for families of all sizes. I love it:)

There are some stores here that I like including Gap Factory, Banana Republic Factory and Columbia Sportswear. I love how it’s set up exactly like Rainbow Row. It’s also in VERY close proximity to Charleston International Airport, and so you definitely see and hear a lot of aircraft.

Great set up and perfect rainy day activity. We were able to stop in shops we normally don’t get to (ex: crocs and stand united. Stand United staff so friendly).

Big outlet mall with many brand in the mall such as Express, Nike, Coach, American Eagle, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and many more. Good place to walk around and shopping.

The Rack Room Shoes employees did not provide any assistance. Also, shoe boxes had mixed sizes, and employees didn't care when advised of it. In regards to military discounts, they only provide it on certain days (Tuesdays), amazing for a military town. They limit it to their convenience. Won't be back.

Good number of stores. Lots of outdoor seating. Having covered walking is wonderful. Having the airport nearby mames it a little loud sometimes. Lots of parking. Good signs all around.

It was a wonderful place. The Christmas tree is beautiful. The music awesome. I will return!

So sorry! I didn't mean to give a low review. My experience was great. We went shopping at a variety of shops, and especially enjoyed the Le Creuset outlet. I used the restrooms while there, and found them well maintained.

The outlets are always a good shopping experience. The have something for everyone. There are stores for kids, big and tall stores, food, ice cream, perfume. Everything. The restrooms were clean and there are changing rooms for families with kids. Traffic can get a little backed up when it’s very busy. Otherwise, it’s a great shopping location.

Didn’t get friendly vibes while I was in the store. I walked pass most of the staff and no one spoke or said anything to me. They watched me walk around the store but never said anything to me until I reached the counter to check out. The store was pretty clean and they had a decent selection of shoes and clothes. They just need to work on their customer service.

Such a clean facility! I've never been to an outlet mall that had nice put together areas and clean bathrooms. On labor day they have amazing deals and the food trucks are fantastic and reasonably priced.

This is such an awesome place to visit, with a blend of new along with the deep history of the old naval base. There is a gorgeous view of the Cooper River along a boardwalk. A large and inviting open field provides for many things, from a picnic to tossing a Frisbee. Also, events are frequently hosted here.

This park is a lovely element of this city; I’ve attended a number of fairs here. It’s interesting to watch the traffic on the river, and there are restrooms, and an off-leash dog park—which is excellent for our canine citizens!—but someone is making a terrible mistake with the piped music.

Riverfront Park is a hidden gem in N. Charleston. It's got a boardwalk along the river, a history of the old Navy base, a beautiful new pedestrian bridge, plenty of space for picnics. I enjoy taking a book and reading beside the river. Remember to take bugspray!! It's a great space for music and food festivals. There are also beautifully restored historical homes that can be rented for events.

Riverfront Park is a fantastic destination for getting out and relaxing or having fun with out of town family or your local friends. It is located on the old golf course of the former naval base with beautiful views. There’s walkways, picnic tables, a pier that juts out into the Cooper River, old oak trees, and magnolia trees for shade. There are public restrooms both near the playground and the Veterans Memorial. It’s a gem. Parking is free. There is currently only one restaurant at the park.

Beautiful park to bring your children. The day we went there was a gosp el concert, with plenty of things for your family to do. The only negative thing was there was a zillion of micro tiny bugs that were biting every one. I happen to had on a short shirt top. I was bitten over 20 times. That I finally had to leave the park. I was so sad about that.

This is our first time at Riverfront Park. While exploring the area today, we discovered some Naval monuments and a scenic walkway. It was breathtaking and will revisit to explore more.

Fun seaside park. Naval Memorial and beautiful ocean view. Benches under trees are a great place to picnic. We followed that up with a stroll along the boardwalk and watched tiny crabs on the shore and small sealife nearby. There is also a fun fountain for kids to play in on a hot day. Pretty Spanish moss highlights the area.

A beautiful park with history and cool sculptures here and there. A great choice for High Water music festival. I'd like to check it out on a normal day when I visit Charleston again.

Pretty cool walking spot if you can get past the early summer heat. We saw lawn art, lawn chairs, a bridge, gardens, jumping fish, and baby crabs.

It is a great park with lots of things to see and a fantastic place to get a break from a stressful week. The area has lots of history, which is immediately evident when you get by the river. There is a group of flags with each of the services represented and a very in-depth and informative display that gives a thorough history of the area. The views of the river are fantastic, even on an overcast day. There's a few restaurants, an event facility that uses to be the admirals quarters. It's definitely a must-see park if you're in the area and have some time or just want a relaxing day with family. I've got more pics that I'll upload later, but it was a great place to take pictures even with the overcast skies.

New additions enhance the views and walking options. It's expanded to the other side of Noisette Creek now, with a boating dock too. Well maintained and a nice restaurant open for lunch and dinner.

The 52nd annual Charleston Scottish Games was a terrific event. It was my first time attending these games and already look forward to returning next year. Great vendors for authentic treaaures and food trucks that satisfied every craving. The weather could not have been better. The opening ceremony, mass bands, the athletes that participated in the games throughout the day along the Clan parade was thrilling to witness. Just curious why they did not have Guiness or McEwans on tap..maybe the crowds consumed a bit less beer and enjoyed the Scotch taste tastings more. I absolutely loved the border collie demonstrations. Riverfront Park location suited this event perfectly.

This is a great park in North Charleston. It used to be Navy housing. It's a beautiful place. We went to the Riverfront Revival music concert. Great walkway along the water. Several pieces of art throughout. Piers to fish. There is a restaurant near the water. Not sure of the hours.

It was a very good beautiful experience. Both days the band was good the food was so good. Met a lot of nice people. It's just very expensive for the locals to be able to come. The park is paid for it's a little too pricey for the concerts. But I do love live music

I love this place! This is a very historical old Navy base. When I was in the military, we would come here because of the location right on the water. Now that it is closed, they have done a great job of reusing the spaces and refurbishing and leasing the big beautiful old homes that used to house military officers . It’s a beautiful place to walk and have lots of family fun. There are lots of trees, but because it’s so big many of the spaces are not shaded It is easy to get to plenty of parking and beautiful views of the riverfront. Many times and I have come for local, concerts, cultural festivals and events. Nice, walking and jogging trails. There is a nice fishing pier, a few small benches, a covered picnic area with tables and a few small barbecue grills. It might be smart to bring your own portable chair if you would like to sit closer to the water. The dog park is hidden in the back near the children’s play area. Not a lot of grass in that area but the upkeep seems to be OK. Doggy resource bags available. My only complaint is that the mosquitoes out here are horrible. I’ve been living in the area for a long time, but this is the only place I always get bitten by a variety of bugs I cannot identify constantly . Make sure you have plenty of bug spray. Lots of greenery,. Children’s play area is very nice and has lots of activity sections. There’s even a sprinkler area for kids to get run through upfront near the military memorial section. Right at the front there is a restaurant called Momo’s. The food is extremely good and the service is amazing. If you come on the right day, you may see dolphins in a few interesting looking cargo ships. Parking is everywhere. They just opened a new bridge in the back near the picnic area. If you are able to find this entrance it is easier and faster to get into the park. Again, don’t forget the bug spray. You can make a whole day of visiting here !

Amazing selection of beers! They were all delicious! My personal favorite was Folly Time American Pale Ale. Great food too. Tons of seating. An expansive beer list. Got the crab nachos and the wings--both wondeful! Check it out!!

The brewery - better, huge taproom i- s located in the more industrial area and at no surprise the brewery comes with the charm of a warehouse. The huge mural at the entrance area is a nicely done depiction of the delta. The brewery has 38 (?) of their own beers on tap. After 2 flights (8 ea. 5 fl oz. tasters), I still wasn't sure what beer I really liked. Sometimes it seems more appropriate to brew a beer 38 times to make a great beer than to brew 38 different ones. The staff at the brewery is great. Our water was refilled without delay and we were reminded of kitchen closing and the last call. This taproom feels like a local place that caters to local people. If I'd live closer, I'd probably be a regular.

Venue, Venue, Venue! A highly recommendable site for dining, drinking, intimate and large receptions. A sparkling parklike wetlands/river front location in North Charleston just off Park Circle. Great views and plenty of room to roam as you sip and watch the sun go down with locals and local wildlife! Wonderful food and beverages offerings were quickly served to a packed house during our visit between 6 and 930 pm on a recent weeknight - naturally showcasing an outstanding selection of craft beers, ales, and porters. Nice gift too. It will be a pleasure to return again soon!

Planned a visit back in May. When we had been there previously, they were dog friendly in the large outside area. Not sure what changed, but dogs are definitely not welcome now. Turned out this was a good thing. Discovered Rusty Bull Brewing a short distance away. Very dog friendly, even inside. Much better beer with a larger selection, fantastic food, and very friendly staff. Definitely our new favorite brewery in the area.

The Pilsner is definitely their best beer, food is standard beer hall food but oddly enough they do not allow dogs. Let me repeat so that the Google algo picks this up: THEY DO NOT ALLOW DOGS. Otherwise fun spot.

I was told about the Winter Wonderland at Holy City Brewery, and they did not disappoint! I took my nephew and though he was shy he truly enjoyed it. When you first get there you are greeted with smiles and hearing someone sing all the Christmas songs is a treat. The actors are very sweet and know what kids enjoy. A lot of interaction with the staff and the children, hot chocolate, making cookies, games, building a nutcracker I can go on and on. The decorations, music, snow, reindeer etc. A magical winter wonderland

Holy city brewing is one of my absolute favorite places to go for fun, to meet clients at and to have a drink and hang out with my fellow realtors. Not only is it centrally located, has a great ambience and atmosphere. Love all the beers! The food is incredible, especially the collision fries! One of my favorite things to do is to meet a client here on a nice hot day and enjoy a beer while talking about the house overlooking the river! It’s a must see! Especially if you were on the way out of town, great place to stop and have a few beers before you head to the airport!

We had a lovely time! We enjoyed the cocktails and tater tots. Went there for trivia. They have a wonderful outdoor set up. You could have large events there with plenty of room for everyone. There’s a large field for kids (or adults) to run around in. There’s a large beer selection, food options, great specials. It’s also just cool. Everywhere you look there are nice features. Cool art, pride flags, good gift shop, etc

This place gets worse each time we go, tonight being our last. The food is awful and the service is no better. The burgers are wafer thin and come out burnt. We waited about a half an hour for new ones, finally went inside to see where they were and they finally came out with more burned ones. We left without eating dinner. We will never go back. Oh, and the Halloween "horror house" last year was NOT the least bit scary. The price of purchase included a free beer but what they don't tell you is that it's one specific very awful tasting beer. Must have been a bad seller that they decided to unload through this gimmick. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Lots of great beers on tap, even a selection of non-alcoholic for those who don't drink. Very kid-friendly with lots to keep them entertained. The food is great, and there are outdoor and indoor options for seating, drink service, and food. I saw a lot of events posted inside--seems like they stay busy. Only downside is mosquitos galore, which I suppose is a given when you're on the marsh (and just about anywhere in Charleston).

Really nice atmosphere and customer service. The food has me coming back multiple times. And if you want to try different beer, this brewery is at the top of my list. Great place for family to friends to coworkers getting together. Basically, it's great for any situation. The Philly cheese steak is best in town by far.

The Christmas village was awesome. The employee actors were so delightful. Thank you for making our visit to see family an awesome time. Kids enjoyed their tenders and cheese burger. My wife's sandwich and tots were great.

First time here. Great outdoor space. Sitting at picnic tables and wanting food was a pain though. Had to go in and order, plus get drinks. Then food is delivered. But then had to go back in to get ketchup..no silverware. If you can get beyond the food part, enjoy the music and open air.

Absolutely amazing!!!! The oyster bar is truly one to ensure you try. I am very cautious about oysters, especially at a brewery (unheard of). Yet, the oysters were ABSOLUTELY FRESH and their trio of mignonette sauces were outstanding!! We tried every last one of the oysters and not a single disappointment. The picture attached is of the fish dip which was our appetizer. 5 out 5 across the board!!! Not to mention, the brewery itself is top tier. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

From the food to the ambiance to the beer... Oh, the beer...AMAZING! it's been a looong time since I've liked Every. Single. Item. A unique, but delicious take on wings (smoked then fried)! The Philly was great! S'More Of The World is my favorite s'more style stout (definitely better than Westbrook). IPAs to die for. Holy City Brewing will be my go to spot Everytime I visit Charleston!!

They have by far the best sours I've tried from other breweries here in SC so far! Their pretzels, immaculate and to die for! Also I think are the best so far on the East Coast!! Their ghost cheese fritters amazing too!!

Great brews with better than decent bar food with a daily rotating menu. The Barrel Aged Collision Stout is worth the trip from anywhere!

I had a great time here. Plenty of options on tap. The Whitewash Wheat is great. For food, I had ceviche, the lobster roll, and a side of fries. All delicious. Great atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating. The service was great. Fun time all around.

Went here tonight with my wife. We both got burgers, overall the food and service were great. Plenty of drink options and good music. Definitely going to add this place to the list of spots we visit.

My dad is a retired firefighter and although he wasn't in attendance on this trip, I felt as if he was by my side. Visiting from out of state and was so happy to see this collection of wonderful relics from long ago. The history and pride was colorfully on display and the sheer volume of interactive tools was a fun part of the museum. Bring your kids and family and enjoy speaking with the helpful staff. There is a store with items for the kids and souvenirs for the adults. A great value at 6 bucks for adults and kids under 13 are free.

If you're looking for a museum to visit in a few hours or less, you can't beat this one, even if you don't think you're interested in fire stuff. This beautiful museum has fire 'trucks' from the 1800s up until today, all in pristine condition with the history of where and when they served. If you have kids, there's both a play set in the middle of the museum, along with an ongoing display presentation on fire safety around the house. And while we didn't have any kids with us, every boy and girl we saw had a fire hat and sticker to remember their day. So if you have ever wondered about fire engines, fire safety or even just heard a siren going down the street, this museum will be of interest to you, I promise.

The staff was super friendly and informative about the town and things to do. The trucks are super clean and presentable. I wish I would have brought patches from my departments for their patch collection on the wall. Very dark inside for pictures without flash. There was only the person I came with and myself in the museum for the hour we were there.

My daughter and I really enjoyed this museum! It's a small museum but there are plenty of historic fire trucks, gear, and information. There is even a slide and fire pole for the kids to play on. We had fun with all the interactive stations and spent a ton of time in the firetruck driving simulation. I've been here before, about 3 years ago, and nothing much has changed but $6 for adults and children 12 and under are free, you can't beat it. Kids get a plastic fire helmet when you leave too!

On a day trip to Charleston, we took our boys, ages 6 and 8, to this museum. This was our 2nd visit and they loved it! My firefighter husband loved the extensive collection of old fire trucks dating back all the way to the 1800's, but my kids loved the fire "playground" with the slide and fire pole, the fire truck simulator where they can sit in the truck and pretend they're going on a call, and the video in the theater. Don't skip the theater show! It's only about 10 minutes and is really cool/interactive. It has a very good and kid-friendly explanation about what causes fires, how to prevent fires, and how to safely escape a fire by having a safety plan. If you have an older child, he/she may be interested in the history of fire fighting displays, etc. You can definitely do this whole museum in an hour, but could spend more or less time depending on your family's interests. Don't forget to design your free fire-fighter badge sticker on the way out and visit the gift shop to get your kids a free fire helmet!

Really enjoyable experience! The fire engines are beautifully presented along with historical information from the time period.I went on a Thursday around lunchtime, and it was not crowded at all. There are a few interactive areas and a movie about fire safety. The movie is geared towards kids but I found it to be interesting and educational. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend for adults as well as kids.

Very well kept museum with friendly staff & numerous different trucks & displays. The museum provides an interesting look at the history of firefighting. There's a small play area for children within the museum with a large slide, firefighter's pole & climbing ladder. Parking is free & very close, admission is $6 with kids under 13 free of charge. Definitely worth a visit!

A great museum for kids and adults alike. If you love history, fire trucks, firefighters, etc., you’ll love this museum. I took my 2 year old, who loves fire trucks, and was myself very impressed. They have steam powered fire trucks all the way to modern trucks and interactive learning stations. The museum is immaculate. Stop by and say hello to Max if he’s working, he’s a wealth of knowledge. Tell him Gary from Ohio said hello.

Really cool experience for the family. The staff was really helpful. The kids were able to design their own sticker badges. It also features interactive displays. And at the end of the tour, the kids got complementary helmets. Overall, it was a really cool experience geared toward kids learning fire safety. 👍🏽👍🏽

We have been here twice now and both times the kids loved it. They did an amazing job of showing the history, making things fun and interactive for kids, and informative. Extremely affordable admission. If you are in Charleston, it is definitely worth the visit.

Beautiful museum with rich history. An absolute most see while in the area. Amazing collection of classic fire engines from the 1800s to today. Plenty for children and adults to enjoy.

Liked it a lot. Great place for little kids and anyone interested in fire safety, engines, etc. One of my kids was a little scared of the sirens and darkness but it's a nice museum. Many fire trucks over the decades on display plus a truck is set up to stimulate driving a real engine. Kids can also make their own sticker name badges. Gift shop on site. Easy parking.

Wonderfully maintained; friendly and helpful staff and docents; interesting information. Excellent value. Nothing negative to say- great way to spend a couple of hours for all ages.

My son and I wound up with an hour to kill around noon on a Friday and found this place. It's kind of fascinating and surprisingly comprehensive. I'd never know that cut glass water grenades were an example of an early firefighting technology, for example. They've even got a Japanese firefighting suit from the WW2 era. We spent nearly an hour looking at patches/badges from fire companies in different cities, trying to see how many of them we've actually visited.

This museum is great! It has many beautiful fire trucks to see and plenty of info about them. The safety program is included and is so great. It was incredibly engaging and even the Littles were captivated the entire time. Kids under 12 are free and children 12 and older, to include adults, are six dollars per person. I feel that price is great considering the size of the museum and that kids are free. You could do this in one to two hours. I also adore the staff. I’m pretty sure they’re actual firefighters in the community and they were so nice, pleasant and knowledgeable. There’s even a small playground inside. That was a great outlet for kids to use. Also, the simulator was the best firetruck simulator that we’ve been on, and we have been on four different ones. Additionally, kids get to make their own badge and it’s very simple and cute. We have been to so many museums, so I can be very picky, but this is definitely on my recommendation list for people. I love it.

The outside of this building makes one thing roomy and spacious if you've never been in it. Not quite the case here. The seating is so tight that you are literally elbow to elbow and thigh to thigh. That being stated, I did not enjoy the Isley Brothers concert like I had planned to. I couldn't stand up because the people behind complained about not being able to see...understandable. I couldn't dance because there was no space. The people that were around me had no concert spirit. They didn't sing, scream or try to dance. I know next time I attend a concert here to get FLOOR SEATS.

The staff was very nice and the venue was keep at a nice temperature. We were there for two nights of awesome Billy Strings concerts. The only reason I give this 4 stars is not enough concessions stands around the concourse. There is one large room for concessions. That means if you are sitting on the far side of the venue, you have to go all the way around for food. There were a few drink stands around the concourse but so few that the lines were long. Other than that it was really fun.

So, the NC coliseum does not differentiate between standard and disabled seating. My wife bought 3 disabled access tickets for Fluffy, today 2/29. We get here and it's everything else, but nowhere near disabled access. As you see in the picture, no walker, wheelchair, or even a cane can get in there. Had to hand carry two large oxygen cylinders and my walker separately to get to my seat. Customer service was no help. The most they said they can do is move two of us to a different section, not all 3 of us, only two.

Went to the Patti LaBelle concert. My wife and I really enjoyed it! It was great!

Attended a Stingrats game. I thought with the ice it would be cold in the Coliseum, but it was actually warm. Dress accordingly.

We went to the performing arts center for the Kevin Hart show and the experience was amazing. The place was very clean and the staff was amazing. One employee did try to double charge us for drinks, my husband ordered 2 double shot crown drinks and she tried to charge him $96. And then she tried to argue with me that that was the correct price, when we had already ordered this exact order and knew how much it should be.

The show "Crystal" was overall very good. Several times through they pointed the very bright stage lights at the audience so I couldn't actually see what was going on. The story was a little hard to follow sometimes, but as Cirque DU Soleil is known for, the acrobatics and athleticism was amazing to watch. We loved it.

I have visited the North Charleston Coliseum on several occasions. One was for a StingRay hockey game and another time was for a high school graduation. This time I laughed all evening because I went there to see a comedian named Druski. It was a really good show and I'm always here for a good time! I didn't buy any refreshments from the concession stand, but I did ask a couple of audience members and they said it was $12 for a double shot of an alcoholic beverage. Druski also had merchandise for sale that you can purchase before the show. I really enjoyed the show and I like that there was a lot of event staff and security as well as law enforcement to guide you in the right direction. If you miss the woulda coulda Druski show you missed a good time! Try to catch the next one!

This place was great! Only about 2000 seats in the smallish well designed and acoustically fabulous concert hall. Saw Mr. Vince Gill and his special guest Wendy Moten - who blew the roof off of the house with her amazing gift, The Voice - and will come back for more! Great value. Charleston has it happening!!

The Performance Center is very clean and modern. The theater itself has no balcony so the sight lines grow considerably long towards the back. The seats are spacious and comfortable. Overall a very nice venue.

Purse was 1/4 “ over “the box” and we could not get in. Door person was extremely rude and seems to be known by everyone present. Others were allowing people in with MUCH LARGER BAGS!! Specifications should have been communicated when tickets were purchased. There is no place for rudeness with employees.

Mediocre venue at best. The sound in the Performing Arts Center is terrible. The seats are very small and very uncomfortable. No lighting at all on the aisles by the seats once house lights go down making it very difficult to find your seat. Security in the venue could be improved. Clean restrooms with many stalls. Easy parking with friendly parking attendants. Employees at the venue were helpful.

The events there are fun, but the North Charleston Coliseum and the staff are horrible. They forced you to dump out your water and then only one water fountain in the entire place works. The others were turned off! Yes they sold water at an up-charge of $5 for a 50 cent bottle. The soda is cheap. (Way to encourage obesity.) Not to mention the staff is completely unfriendly, unhelpful and crude. Almost seems like they go out of their way to be rude. The Harlem Globetrotters were great, as always!

Went to the Monster Jam event at the coliseum. Loud, but fun. Either bring your headphones, or be prepared to buy some there if you attend a monster truck rally.

So much fun here!! Small arena made you feel super connected. Tons of interactive games

The PAC is nice. Could be great. The orchestra seating needs a middle aisle. Walking to one end from a middle seat is very disruptive. The view is great, acoustics are good. But they need to add a middle aisle to exit.
