We recently visited the park and we enjoyed it. You can get up close with some of the animals as they are not in the cage and seems that they are used to the people around them. We also like the Kenya Train as it goes around the safari world and into the carnivore section. But if you want to get up close with the herbivore animals in the safari, try the walking safari trail. The dolphin show is also very good. There are many dolphins than we expected so my daughter really enjoyed it. One of the reason that we came was to see a real panda and we were not disappointed. An amazing theme park and a true Adventure world where you and your family will be drowned in the variety of entertainment inside the park. Be it the overwhelming friendliness of the staff, the animals, the spick and span rides, the animal feeding (especially the Rhino, Lion and Sea Lion )and minute to minute tours, everything is simply amazing. The icing on the cake are the animal shows and Dolphin shows. Worth every penny and worth every minute of the travel from Osaka to Shirahama for this.

It's a very nice zoo but a little expensive. The entrance fee only gets you inside then you have to pay extra for everything else except for the dolphin show and the safari bus which are both very good. All the rides are a bit dated and most of them are between 300 and 500 yen. All the animals look well looked after and contented. The restaurants are ok and not too expensive. Overall it is a good family day out but a little bit expensive.

We decided to go here on a whim and bought fairly inexpensive tickets at the gate. Parking also cost a small amount. It wasn’t too busy inside and we could roam freely. A great place to visit for the day if you are in the area. I recommend buying tickets in advance so as to avoid disappointment if the park reaches max capacity. Obviously the most famous animals in the park are the pandas and there are quite a few of them! However, the panda areas are always the most busy area so I recommend either doing that early or waiting and doing it at lunch when everyone is eating or during one of the shows. As for the shows they are very fun to watch. There are a lot of animals to see so you can definitely spend most of a day here and even longer if you decide to go on any of the rides.

Such an amazing place to bring your family or friends. It is well priced and English friendly. If you do come try and reserve the private vehicle Safari tour! It is well worth it! We got the 2 day pass and it was ideal. We didn’t feel rushed to see everything and we were able to enjoy the park at our own pace.

This place had it all, all ages will be entertained here. They had an AWSOME safari, petting zoo, feeding zoo birds, monkeys dolphins, lions, pandas, tigers, rhinoceros, and many more than I can list. You can go go kart racing you could ride the Safari on a train walk to Safari or even rent a golf cart and do a Safari. Have carnival type games they had it all everything you’d ever want to entertain yourself for one or two days. Staff was super friendly they helped out getting the ¥2000 ride pass which allows you the road all the roller coasters and amusement rides. Highly recommend that you look into getting the ride pass which is ¥2000 per person.

Relatively small and simple beach spot with access to some pretty blue water. There's hotels around with few stores and not much else but worth a visit if you're in the area or just looking for a place to relax by the water.

This is a great place to relax. It was clean and fresh. The entrance fee and shower are free but the parking costs us ¥2000. There are restaurants around but there are no over the counters food to go. We set up our tent at 6:30AM. We easily got a parking spot and tent spot. The place started to packed up at 9:00am.

A wonderful place to go and swim. The water is very clean. I think the Best time to go is within the month of July and August. There are also toilets and showers near the beach.

A wonderful white sand beach although I imagine it gets very busy during the summer months so avoid just before or after summer if you want a less busy experience. There are open showers at the back of the beach to wash sea water and sand off. There are many nearby shops to get food and drink. Parking near the beach is extortionately expensive so if you can find somewhere cheaper to park and walk you will save several thousand yen. Well worth a visit!!!!

Wonderful white sand beach. The water was warm. I am use to the pacific here in Vancouver it was much warmer then here. There is a onsen right on the beach and a place to wash your feet in the onsen water.

Beautiful beach and the crowd is friendly. A nice Little Rock path to walk or run. The water was very clear and beautiful in the morning plus it was empty so I recommend going early. The sand is also nice.

Lovely beach! Beautiful white sand (apparently imported from Perth) and blue water. It was pretty busy the 2 days we went here. My son cut his foot on the rocks under the water, so I could recommend some water shoes if coming here. There is a Family Mart nearby, if your at the northern part of the beach, to get food and refreshments. Also a few good vendors by the beach and vending machines as usual.

Nice beach with clear white sand. When we went in July, there were nice waves where we had fun. There were also fireworks scheduled for the evening, and we watched that too.

Over the years, waves of the Pacific Ocean have continually crashed into the Wakayama coastline, creating spectacular clusters of jagged rock formations. My husband and I were at Senjojiki in end of November. The surface of the rocks were smooth but it was not slippery. We had fun “finding” our ways towards the sea. Senjojiki literally means "one thousand tatami mats"!

A short stop just to take some photos at the beach side . Too windy and cold to get down close to the sea. It is a very beautiful sand stone beach and you can track all the way.. too cold this time to get there with strong wind!

At the back of the cliff is a gift shop/café. although a little expensive the drinks there are delicious and much needed on a hot day!!! parking is limited here so if you can find somewhere else nearby and walk then that is what I recommend.

Great place to enjoy the view of the ocean. The rock formation is pretty and unique. You can easily walk out to the edge of the cliff. A fairly large carpark is next to it. The bus stop is a short walk.

The cliffs themselves are beautiful and you can freely walk along them and explore the area. A beautiful place to visit if you are in the area. There is also a street nearby that sells lots of festival style food eg. Ice cream, Fish, Dango...

It’s quite a surprise spot for me. The cliff is quite astonishing. The cave (which you need to pay the entrance fee) is quite an adventure. It’s a good place to stop by and spend an hour to chill a bit.

The entrance fee is 1300 yen for adults... You have to take the elevator down to the sea level..staff will help u take a photo and u can buy it as souvenir. When you reach the cave you can feel and listen to the strong wave....there are few tourists during weekdays and you can enjoy the natural...besides there is a mini temple inside the cave....

Beautiful place! Not your typical cave, must visit! First you arrive at the reception and you pay for the ticket, then they will guide to the elevator down to the cave and give you a quick orientation about the place. I would definitely come back and being my friends here in given the time.

Lovely place for Sunset. Somewhat crowded so be sure to reach early for a good spot. To reach take a cab or bus towards Rinkai bus stop. Note that it may be difficult to get any transportation from here after sunset, but it's easily walkable to the beach.

Pretty fun! Adults can enjoy as well. Me and my husband liked the optical illusions and the health parkour the best. Oh and there's this dinosaur rie that's surprisingly high quality! Like something you'd find at Universal Studios!

I haven't been there yet because I'm in kumamoto ken. But I really wanna go. But aside from that, I wish you can also build this energy land some where in Kyushu. So we can also enjoy it here!😁
