The store was bigger than I expected, and I was spoiled for choice as there were so many different things on sale.
If the sugar content was written on the fruits, I would have bought them on a whim, but unfortunately I couldn't venture out and just bought a few to take home.
The number one recommendation of this roadside station is a very clean restroom. It is very spacious and there are many, so you can use a spacious private room with a small child.
Shopping will be more enjoyable if the restroom is clean.

On the day of my visit (March 5, 2022), I stopped by at other roadside stations to buy vegetables before I went here, but I bought more vegetables! As for meals, there was a bakery, a cutlet shop, and a seafood restaurant (2nd floor).
At the seafood restaurant on the 2nd floor, I had "Mekkun Don" and "Vegetable Tendon", both of which were quite good. In particular, Tendon has a cheerful atmosphere like soba hot water, and when I think about it, it contains soup stock, and at the end I eat it like Ochazuke, which was really delicious.
However, I had to wait for more than 30 minutes probably because it was quite crowded on the day. Moreover, the operating was strangely bad, as it seemed that people who came later than us were served meals first.
Even so, the staff are working very hard and I feel sorry for them, so I didn't say anything in particular ...
Without that, it was a roadside station that made me want to score 5 points without complaint. In addition, I would like to revisit at a time when it will not be as crowded as this time.
By the way, the signboard said "Gokai Tendon" with plenty of seafood, but in reality (maybe it was out of material ...), there was only vegetable tendon.
vinegar.

Laguna Ten Bosch is a recreational spot that boasts an amusement park with various rides, fish markets, outlets, and events along with a marina. This attractive theme park caters to both kids and adults alike. With its numerous attractions and mesmerizing illumination at night, the visitors can have endless fun. The Aqua Wind ride stands out as one of the best experiences in this park while the sunset view from the ferry's wheel is highly recommended.
It's one of the best winter illuminations I've ever seen.. ❤️ it's really beautiful. There is also a kid's park where the kids can enjoy the rides, a food stands & a souvenir shops & game center. The entrance is not so expensive.

Small park, fun rides but recommended for children. There's an entire section just for small kids with small rides. The food from food trucks was good and the people are nice, and most ride explanations were thorough and enthusiastic. If you get the full day passport, you can also ride the ferris wheel in the shopping center area, and the view is very nice from the top of the ferris wheel. (Night time illuminations are very nice seen from above, probably a good place for couples)

But i tell you, never miss Le NoiReve!!! It was short but it was pure magic! I felt like I was on another realm. It was the highlight of my visit. I loved it!
We got the adult pass, 4350yen.

Pretty small scale amusement park. ¥2,150 park entrance fee. The individual ride costs too much, so if you plan on riding anything you would want to just purchase the passport. Since the park is so small and the rides are very short, you don’t really need an entire day to go through the whole park. The after 4 pm discount ticket for ¥3,350 with unlimited rides is more than sufficient. The flower park and illumination shows at night are nice. If you only want to enjoy the night scenery the entrance fee ticket alone may be sufficient.
Free shuttle from the Gamagoori station to the park is convenient for those who are not driving. This place is quite empty on weekdays and non public holidays. I went on a weekday with 0-min wait time for every single ride.
Overall, good amusement park for the locals (family with kids or couples); if you are a foreign visitor with limited amount of time, definitely visit places like USJ or Tokyo Disneyland instead.

Born in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture, I recently learned of its existence and this was my first visit.

Particularly impressive was the book ``Kagetsu Ichimou,'' which Ieyasu is said to have written as a 10-year-old child during the Takechiyo period, while listening to the story of gratitude from the chief priest.
I was given the opportunity to copy the sutras at the right time, and the chief priest happened to give me a detailed explanation after I noticed that it was placed near the place where I was writing it😃
Mr. Ieyasu is in the spotlight in the 2023 Taiga drama, but learning about Mr. Matsudaira's history is also very educational ☺️
It has become a special place that I would like to visit again.

This is a lovely place in Toyokawa! The park has many things to see including an aquarium where visitors can see fish 🐠 from many places of Japan as well as fish from a few other countries.
It also has a nice fountain ⛲
And many trials.
At this park visitors can also see Sakura (Cherry Blossoms) and more.
By the way, there is plenty of parking for cars, motorcycles and bicycles 🚲

Daihonden is a Buddhist temple that was established in 1441, boasting verdant grounds and a fascinating hill called Reiko-zuka adorned with divine fox sculptures. Although it can be overwhelmingly congested during the New Year festivities when throngs of people converge to pray for blessings from the fox god, this shrine offers an enjoyable and uplifting experience. However, it's generally more peaceful at other times during the year.
Beautiful shrine a must see if your in Toyokawa.
primo de leon — Google review
I wasn’t expecting it to be a temple! It’s a temple but it’s also for Inari, who is a Shinto god, and usually Inari has shrines. I prefer shrines to temples, but it was nice to go to another Inari site that is closer to me than Kyoto. I’d been trying to get there for over a year before I finally went. I’m glad I did, but I probably won’t go back. It’s a huge temple complex though, lots to see, and there’s a shrine with lots of fox statues around it.

The Michi-no-Eki Shiomizaka is a roadside station located along the toll road, offering local souvenirs and food. It features a cafe, restaurant and an outdoor footbath with stunning ocean views that can help relieve stress. However, it tends to get crowded on weekends. Additionally, there is a pedestrian passage nearby that leads directly to the sea where visitors can enjoy quality time with family or friends.
Best rest area ever with foot bath and lovely food. Ordering can be a challenge as all are noted in Japanese but you know what, following the locals and you can get the best ones. :)

A nice place to stop over along Route1 between a very long drive. You can enjoy the foot bath for free while viewing the ocean from above. There’s also a walk way to the beach if you’d like to enjoy the sand and the cool breeze. The restaurant serves tasty menu. But I tried the local food and a macha latte from the vending machine. The ruins of Nagashino Castle, dating back to the Sengoku era, are a popular spot for accessing the nearby river. While descending towards it, visitors are advised to be cautious and also ensure that they close the fence behind them. This is important as it helps prevent wild animals from entering areas where they don't belong. The castle site has significant historical value as it was the location of the famous Battle of Nagashino in 1575.

Very few remains of the castle remain, but given its location between two rivers, it makes you wonder if the castle was built with the advantage of the land in mind from the beginning. It seems possible.

It is a natural fort built on a river terrace near the confluence of the Toyo River and the Usure River.
Imagawa, Takeda, and Tokugawa fought for it.
It is said that Motonari Suganuma built the castle in 1508. In 1571, Takeda Shingen began moving west and attacked Nagashino Castle. Driven to the point of falling, the lord of the castle, Masasada Suganuma, surrendered to the Takeda army. In 1573, Takeda Shingen died of illness. As the Takeda army retreated, Masasada Suganuma opened Nagashino Castle to the Tokugawa army. In 1575, Takeda Katsuyori laid siege to Nagashino Castle. The castle lord, Nobumasa Okudaira, barricaded the castle with only 500 soldiers and fought well. At that time, Torii Koemon would become active. You can see the place where Goemon was crucified in the distance on the opposite bank of the river. In addition, a signboard has been erected in front of a private house near the parking lot at the spot where Goemon shouted that reinforcements were coming. Kuruwa, earthworks, dry moats, stone walls, wells, etc. remain. The castle gate was relocated to Momogyu-dera Temple and still exists today. The castle was abandoned in 1576, when Okudaira Nobumasa built a new castle.
It just so happened that the day I visited was a day when the Historic Site Preservation Museum was closed, so I couldn't take a tour, which was a shame.

The Iwamura Castle Ruins are located on a secluded mountain and consist of stone walls and a turret from a 12th-century castle. It is considered one of the top three mountain castles in Japan, but only known among select individuals. Visitors should be aware that it requires a steep 2km hike up and down the mountain to reach the ruins. English translations are available for explanations, as well as QR codes for CG photos of what the castle would look like.
The foundation stones of the castle are still as strong and stable as the day the were laid hundreds of years ago.
The location, high on a hill, gives a commanding view of the local area although the surrounding forest has grown tall and obstructed the view from when the castle was occupied.

It is located in a beautiful area in the forest. It is unique in the seance that its ruler was a woman, rather tan a man which was very unlikely in that time period. That being said there is not much left to see there...

Great little spot with lovely ruins
Hidden up at the top of the hill the ruins are easily accessible with a carpark up the top, or enjoy the walk up from the bottom car park.
The Airpark JASDF Hamamatsu Air Base Museum, also known as the Hamamatsu Air Park, is a unique attraction located within Japan's Ministry of Defence. Situated on a working air base, visitors have the opportunity to witness active planes taking off and landing. The museum boasts an extensive collection of military aircraft and offers flight simulators for an immersive experience.
It is good to visit this Airpark because its free😊 also you can see the other kind of plane. This place is also good for the kids. The place is wide and nice.

The Hamamatsu Airbase earns a perfect 5/5 rating for its exceptional qualities. Firstly, the fact that admission is free is a significant advantage, making it accessible to a wide range of visitors regardless of their budget. The airbase holds historical significance, offering visitors a glimpse into Japan's aviation heritage, which adds depth and meaning to the experience. Additionally, the provision of free parking enhances convenience for visitors, ensuring a hassle-free arrival and departure process.
One of the standout features of the Hamamatsu Airbase is the opportunity for visitors to go inside the cockpit of aircraft, take pictures, and even change clothes, providing an immersive and memorable experience. The inclusion of cockpit demonstrations further enriches the visit, allowing visitors to gain insight into the operation of these impressive machines. Moreover, the airbase offers a commanding view of the runway, providing visitors with an exciting vantage point to observe aircraft in action.
However, there are a couple of drawbacks worth noting. Firstly, all the information provided at the airbase is in Japanese, which may pose a challenge for non-Japanese speakers to fully comprehend the historical context and details of the exhibits. Additionally, the size of the airbase is relatively small, which could limit the amount of time visitors spend exploring the site.
Overall, despite these minor drawbacks, the Hamamatsu Airbase offers a superb experience, combining historical significance, interactive elements, and scenic views to create an engaging and enjoyable visit for all. Its free admission, coupled with unique features like cockpit access and demonstrations, make it a must-visit destination for aviation enthusiasts and history buffs alike.

You don't need a ticket, this museum is government owned and is free. The museum has games and a realistic plane flying game where you sit in a plane chair and drive a plane on a tv. Everything is free in this museum. Lots of information and a playground at the back of the museum.

A place for family and kids!!
It's a three floor museum, has food corner, kids playing area, few movie screening and a bunch of plane models to see !!
Loved the live demonstration of the armed vehicles at the rear of the museum.

We went there on a Saturday, the entrance was free. Free parking on the premises and if you like airplanes, or military stuff, you’ll love the place!

Located next to active military training airport you are likely to see a lot of aircraft training if you visit at a good time. The museum itself is free and offers an overview of the Japanese Self Defence Air Force, how it operates, aircrafts used and so on. The second part is a hangar with planes, helicopters and experience zone.
Thr downside is that there is no direct bus line from the station so you need to walk a bit to get there. Second downside is that all the materials are only in Japanese, but I think that doesn't matter for the most part.
I would highly recommend this for military or plane enthusiasts. Families with children at the age where they enjoy airplanes will find the experience zone super fun as they can for example go into a cockpit simulator of a fighter plane.

No easy way there by train, but worth the effort. Super friendly staff and you can even sit in some of the displayed planes cockpits.

Good aircraft displays, but ongoing COVID measures limit access to the cockpits. If you want to try the simulators, reserve early.

Good place if you like fighter planes. Retired pilots tell you about the planes. We wanted to try the Jet fighter Simulator, but the Equipment is old and was out of order that day. If you bring your dogs you’ll have to park outside of the premises.

The museum has such a huge wide range of display where you can enjoy and take a look around. Sadly, some of the activities are closed because of Covid but still it's a nice experience. 👌❤️

The Hamamatsu City Museum of Musical Instruments is a must-visit for music enthusiasts, boasting an impressive collection of over 1,300 instruments from various countries. As Japan's sole public musical instrument museum, it offers a unique opportunity to explore the rich diversity of global musical heritage. The first floor showcases instruments from Japan and Asia, while subsequent levels feature collections from Africa, South America, Europe, and beyond. Visitors can also enjoy hands-on exhibits and even participate in performances at this immersive destination.
Never would’ve imagined that a museum of musical instruments would be the highlight of a mini-vacation, but there you go. If you have any interest in music, this place is worth a couple of hours of your time. The range of exhibits is seriously impressive.
Justin Norrie — Google review
This museum should be amazing and it has a fantastic collection. However the displays are oddly arranged, crowded and unpleasant to look at (for the Japanese aesthetic) -- they also result, therefore, in dreadful photos. It's a shame because this could be done so much better.
Mandy H — Google review
An amazing collection of instruments from around the world. Allow at least 2 hours to look around and to also play on the selection of keyboards (and a drum kit) that are provided for this purpose. Many items are labelled only in Japanese so if you don't speak the language you can use Google lens on your smartphone to identify and understand what each exhibit is. There is a small gift shop on your right as you exit the exhibition space.

At first, this museum seemed small; I wasn't super impressed when I first walked in. Next thing I knew, we had been there for 3 hours! There is a really impressive collection of old and obscure instruments, and the interactive room was fun even for adults. This is a must-visit for anyone who has played a musical instrument.

Atera-no-Nanataki Falls is a picturesque location that can be accessed through a forested walking trail. The waterfall features seven tiers and is believed to possess sacred powers. Visitors can wade in the stream or relax at seating areas, making it an ideal spot for picnics. There is a fee for parking, with rates of 300 yen for cars and 100 yen for motorcycles. The tranquil atmosphere and scenic drive around the mountains are perfect for enjoying the autumn season.
Mt wife and I visited there on the way to Yuya hot spring resort.
There’s enough parking lot.
At the same time we could enjoy the forest bathing on the way to & from this waterfalls.
Not only elderly but also small children can enjoy them listening to the sounds of cicadas and insects.

A neat multi-level waterfall in Shinshiro City, Aichi. As its name suggests, there are seven falls and measure 26 meters in height. Access is rather difficult. Driving would be your best option. A part of the road is often blocked during the rainy season due to landslide, so you have to find another way to get around it.
¥300 for parking. There is an old restroom located next to the parking lot and also a vending machine. Approximately a 15-min walk from the parking area to the waterfall. Not a huge area.

(Translated by Google) It is said that the waterfall has 7 tiers, but the upper part cannot be seen. The rock was carved out at a step in the middle, creating a waterfall basin, which was beautiful.
There is something called Kotaro Kannon here, and many people seem to visit it. There is a small shrine on the rocky part of the way next to the waterfall.
The shop at the entrance doesn't seem to be open during the winter, but there was a sign saying it would be open from spring.

There's a signboard that says it's a 15-minute walk from the parking lot, and if you don't drive around on the way, you'll probably get there in about that time.
You can also take your time to see some small waterfalls, rocks, and flowers along the way.

Chausuyama is a mountain peak that boasts an active volcano, offering various walking trails and trekking routes suitable for all levels of hikers. In addition to these, there is also a ropeway available for visitors to enjoy the stunning view. However, during the Shibazakura Festival, visitors should be aware that a parking fee will be charged.
The highest mountain east of Nagoya, located at the border of Aichi and Nagano prefectures. Even though it is not so high and there is an only very small ski resort, the specialized constructed driving way to the top is very much breathtaking with so much very Japanese great nature in the mountains.
Located at the edge of northeastern Aichi and southwestern Nagano, very close to the border with Shizuoka prefecture also.
Driving car or with tourist group from Nagoya, recommended tourism course is, through the Sanage Green Road which is very new and comfortable ETC highway, and after the very end directly run national route 153 which is very much natural Japanese countryside route with lots of nature alongside, through southern Nagano till Chuo expressway at Sonohara or Iida Yamamoto.
Recommended visiting or driving route is from Nagoya, see and experience some tourism spots like Toyota automobile museum or IKEA Nagakute east of Nagoya, see the beautiful tiny rounded river Kanpachikyo which is very close from the end of the Sanage Green Road.
Around Asuke area can see red and brown or sometimes even gold coloured very much special maple trees at Korankei in autumn, can try to taste local traditional snacks like Goheimochi or grilled solty or Japanese miso flavored river fishes or can find any kind of very traditional souvenirs at Korankei, then you can find lots of onsen around Inabu and southern Nagano, onsen means very traditional Japanese hotsprings which every foreigner can experience only in Japan. There are some nice affordable hotels as well. Very Japanese countryside natures.
By the way here is the border of both Aichi and Nagano and the address of this place should be Nagano prefecture I guess.

Hattasan Son-ei-ji Temple is a temple complex that showcases historical structures, landscaped gardens and vendors offering sweet dumplings. Recently, I visited the temple for their matsuri event where many lanterns illuminated the area. The stairs were quite high but not exhausting to climb. It would have been better if the festival was held on weekends. Additionally, the omamori trinkets were cute and there were many interesting food choices available.

If you love birds, you'll love this place! I easily spent over 2 hours here. You can feed the birds, but the sale of food ends at 3:30 PM, so be sure to arrive before that. At 3:30 PM, the birds will get fed, so you won't be able to go close to them while they eat, but it is adorable to see them all munching down on their meal. There are bird shows as well, but the outdoor show is only once per day. Highly recommend if you love birds!

When I brought my 3yo, flamingos looked down on her and she got really upset. So, it might be more enjoyable for kids who are older than elementary school age. This time, my kids were 8yo and 10yo, so they had no problem.
There are various activities available, such as holding cute ducks and penguins. You can also put several different kids of owls on your arms.
Thankfully, they have a variety of menu at the cafeteria. They even have hamburgers, and they were pretty good. My little one went with something unique that has a shape of a bird nest. She was really happy.
It's a bit far from the nearest station, so we took a taxi on our way there from Kakegawa station. We wanted to explore a bit, so we walked back to the station. We will definitely go back again.

Kakegawa Castle is a picturesque castle complex located on a mountain, offering stunning views of Kakegawa city. It is renowned for being the first post-war main keep reconstructed using traditional carpentry techniques. The castle features wooden chambers, a tea room, and an ornate watchtower set within hilltop gardens. Visitors can explore the original Ninomaru Goten and enjoy Shizuoka tea in the serene garden below.
Amazing historical place.
The staff at the top level of the castle told us many interesting stories about those buildings, old times, historic periods, etc.
Highly recommended to visit.

I visited Kakegawa Castle, Nijo Castle, and a tea room. After its disappearance, the castle was restored and has been beautifully recreated. Nijo Castle has a variety of interesting items on display, so history buffs should take the time to explore it. You can enjoy matcha for 600 yen in the sophisticated tea room. The tea room is also known as the place where the championship match between Sota Fujii and Akira Watanabe was fought.

Climbed to the castle on Saturday evening.
It seems to have been recently renovated and is very clean.
Ninomaru Palace, where you can also enter the botanical garden near the entrance with the same ticket, is also wonderful.
The castle tower itself has steep stairs, so it takes some courage to climb up, but the view is good.
I didn't have enough time so I only went into the castle tower and Ninomaru Palace, but I saw the view of the castle tower from Sannomaru Square, Lotus Pond, Takenomaru, Stained Glass Museum, Dainippon Hotokusha, Prince Arisugawa Prince Takehito's former residence, and the Yotoku Prayer Memorial. There were many things to see near the museum.

If you are in the area, Kakegawa Castle is worth a visit. The original castle was constructed by a local daimyo about 5 centuries ago during the Sengoku, or Civil Wars period. During the period that followed, Kakegawa and the surrounding area prospered. Unfortunately, most of the castle was destroyed in an earthquake in 1854. The castle tower was reconstructed in the 1990s, and was the first castle in Japan to be rebuilt with wood. I have posted photos of the castle from the surrounding area and from the top.

I only wanted to get off at this station for the Shioho Suspension Bridge. It rained heavily today, which may have reduced the number of tourists. When I got off the bus, there was no shelter from the rain on the platform. I quickly crossed the road to the waiting area built on the opposite side, and looked around for hundreds of meters, except for the passing cars. There was no one else around, and it felt a bit desolate. In addition, it is also difficult not to notice the entrance sign of the tall Shioxiang Suspension Bridge on the side. The Shioxiang Suspension Bridge is a very exciting suspension bridge. It is hard to imagine that such a simple and thin structure can support my 90 kg uncle. People who come here may be worried about not being able to find a toilet. In fact, in addition to the station platform, there is a small attraction of Kawane Waterfall near the entrance of Shiogang Suspension Bridge. There is also a clean and beautiful toilet there. Overall, although the area is a bit desolate , but there is still no shortage of necessary facilities.

Yume no Tsuribashi, also known as Dream Bridge, is a 90-meter-long suspension bridge that spans the Sumata Gorge in Shizuoka. The bridge hangs 8 meters above the striking emerald-colored Oma Dam Lake, which gets its vivid hues from the Tyndall Effect. We went on a Tuesday at 1pm and nobody was there. It was so beautiful. My wife made me go and it was so much better than what I expected. It is truly breathtaking and we have never seen anything like it. The water is crystal clear and blue. The surrounding area is beautiful. I would have liked to have seen it before all the fall leaves were gone, however I know there would be so many people here. Our friend from Tokyo drove us there. The road to it has a lot of turns, very narrow, and you go up and down mountains. Also, when you cross the bridge, you are not supposed to cross it back (from what we read and heard). You are supposed to continue up a steep mountain and circle around. With nobody there, we just crossed back and did not have to go around and do that steep hike. In the end, I recommend going at this time and during the week. Hardly any people and it is still beautiful.

What a beautiful place!!!
The stunning water that can go from a green shade to a blue one depending on the weather is definitely worth a visit.
Crossing the bridge can be both challenging and fun. Surprisingly, even though it's not stable at all, I felt very safe and secure on it.
Be prepared for the way up after the bridge as the staircase seems to be endless. I had to make some stops on the way to catch my breath (just for the record, I'm not in my best physical condition 😅).
Wear comfortable shoes for it's a long walk back to the parking lots area and if possible, plan your visit to a non holiday weekday.
There's no cost to enter the park, but they do ask for donations to help on maintenance (non mandatory) and the parking lots are charged.

Very nice place to visit. Beautiful nature.
The route to visit the bridge was one way. Climbing up the perpendicular stairs was quite exhausted.

Best place to visit this place in Summer
The only way to go there is by Car 🚗
The roads are narrow and only one car pass at a time

Must visit location. Great scenery. Walk to and fro around 3.6km including crossing the suspension bridge. Parking fee is 500 yens

夢の吊橋 🙏 World's Top 10 Pedestrian Suspension Bridge to cross before you die, I can't really imagine that I experienced this in my entire life. 😭❤️✨ It feels so magical. The forest, bridge and the emerald green water, a perfect scenery ✨🌉 Also, there is a rumor that if you wish about love while crossing the bridge, it will come true 🤣 (I hope so🙏)
This is really a must visit in Shizuoka ❤️✨ Beautiful.

Kawanehon is located in central Shizuoka with great hot springs and nature spots. It is also a town well known for the Oigawa Steam Locomotive train. This time we visited the Yume no Tsuribashi Bridge, a famous suspension bridge.
Yume no Tsuribashi Bridge (Dream Suspension Bridge) The bridge is 90 meters long and extends over the Oma Dam Lake great place to explore. 🇯🇵🏞️

The whole area is really beautiful! Crossing this shaky bridge is an interesting experience. The water color is very unique.

Photos do not do justice to just how beautiful this bridge and area is. While, it is quite a drive to get to the location, it is completely worth the visit. While the bridge does get very Shaka, be sure to secure your phone and camera before taking and pictures.

Rengejiike Park is a vast green space surrounding a picturesque lake, renowned for its blooming cherry, wisteria and lotus flowers. This idyllic spot offers tranquil ambience perfect for family picnics or romantic first dates alike. The park presents diverse attractions like hiking up the hill that rewards with mesmerizing views of lavender gardens amidst forests, boating in the lake and even riding down the jumbo slide.
A huge park in Fujieda, you can play, walk, jogging and have some fresh air here. There's also a lot of flowers during spring season. I was late to see the wisteria to bloom, but it's okay. We also enjoyed the slides here 🛝😅.

Wonderful place to visit. Beautiful walk around the pond, take a paddle boat on the water. Climb the ridge for spectacular views of Fujieda. There's 3x great slides for the kids to try as well.

This park is incredibly nice. It is so serene, good for family picnic. Hiking up on the hill was a nice experience, I loved the lavender garden in the middle of the "forest". Boating is also a fun activity to do here. If you are looking for a first date idea, you should go here. There is also a Starbucks just right beside the parking lot.

I love this park. Next door to my wifes childhood home. Full of nature a beautiful pond and lots of people exercising walking and jogging. It is beautiful and scenic and extremely vibrant during the blossoming of the Sakura which one day I hope to be there during cherry blossom season.

Something different to see every season. About a 4.5km walk from Fujieda station I try to come here during my work trips to Fujieda. Walking in the hills behind the lake is also great.

I have been going to many parks and this is considered the best slide in the region. It gets super hot in the Summer, but very long and so much fun for kids.

(Translated by Google) A tiered waterfall with a drop of 70m that flows into the Abe River. This waterfall was formed by an earthquake in 1707, and although it only looks like two steps from the front, there are two more in the back, making it a total of four steps. There is a separate waterfall basin on every step. Since it is a main stream waterfall, the amount of water is abundant and very impressive. If the weather is nice, a rainbow will appear.
It takes about 2 minutes from the entrance along the road to the observation deck. Basically, it is a far-sighted view. The promenade is well maintained.
To approach, go down the slope on the left bank and head towards the waterfall from the riverbank. There is no way to descend, so if anything happens, you will be at your own risk.
The lower roll is from the left bank. Descend along the rock wall to the entrance. This is the only place where there is foothold on the shore. It looks like you can climb F2 from the right bank, but there is no place to stand in front of F3, so you have no choice but to flee up the steep slope of the right bank towards the mountain. The crossing to the right bank itself is difficult, and the force of the water is such that if you fail, you will definitely fall to the bottom.
As a whole, the left bank is steep, and there are no scaffolding in F4, so it is difficult to see it from the front as there is not enough water to swim to attach it.
Free parking available. You can park near the entrance. Restrooms are located in the parking lot across the road. Although it is only for a short period of time, it is illuminated during the autumn leaves season.

(Translated by Google) The waterfall itself is amazing.
I would have given it a higher rating if the roads around the area and near the waterfall had been maintained.
I gave this rating because I can't go close.
It's a shame, considering that if you look down at the falls, you can clearly see how impressive it is and how beautiful the water surface is if you look at it up close.
I was surprised at how strong the waterfall was.
I wanted to see it closer.

Gravel parking space available (free of charge).
We arrived at the observation deck in about 5 minutes on foot.
A gigantic waterfall with a total drop of 60m, and although it is far from the observatory, it still has an impressive amount of water.
The emerald green basin of the waterfall and the rock walls on either side surrounding it are very well shaped.
However, since it was far away, we forced ourselves down from the mountain path and up the river to reach the waterfall basin. *This is your own responsibility.
The waterfall that looms right in front of you is so powerful that it feels like it's swallowing you up.
