Q&A about Townsville

The Strand is a great easy walk to do, particularly early in the morning while the sun is rising. Make sure you head up to Kissing Point if you’re at the Strand. If you’re a beach goer head over to Magnetic Island - Horseshoe Bay has a few water activities or you could just laze on any of the beaches. There are some nice waterfalls north of Townsville but you would have to make a day trip of it. If you don’t want to do the walk up Castle Hill then drive up at least to say you have done it and take in the view.
