Undoubtedly one of the best weekend gateway or a place where you can visit with your family, friends or even solo . Very easy to reach , you can rent a bike for 300 and explore the nearby places . There are plenty of beautiful cafés , lake and views are beautiful weather is amazing. A must visit kind of a destination. Don’t think book your tickets. I stayed at Himalayan hotel ( expensive for the rooms and the value it provides but view from there is something to die for)

In the heart of Nainital amidst majestic mountains there lies a deep lake of calm vastness known as Naini Lake. It is one of serene places in Uttarakhand state of India. Quite a good place to hang around with friends and family. Beautiful and picturesque where one can breathe fresh air by away from city hustle. However, to reach there one has to cross the city hustle. As soon as you enter the city Nainital taxi drivers starts approaching you with offers to give a tours of snow capped mountains and stuff. Once you park you car in a nearby, yet crowded, parking the boat peddler starts approaching you for the deals of boating. The price is fixed though. Don’t forget to eat the boiled maïs corn from the street vendors. They’re really yummy 😊

The lake was really clean, people are not allowed to feed fishes as it creates waste in the lake. We went boating and each boat costs ₹420 if you go for a complete round or ₹320 for half round. It was really a nice experience it took us around 40 minutes to complete the full round.

This is the LAKE wherefrom the town got its name ... Nainital. Nainital Lake, Naini Lake, Naini Jhil all are same...a majestic, giant, picturesque, unfathomable Tal or Lake in the middle of the town Nainital surrounded by seven beautiful hills... a place most loved and cherished by countless tourists and people. Though my personal favourite is Sattal but the boating experience in Naini Lake is a memory to be preserved, particularly during morning and late afternoon. And a casual walk through the Mall Road connected with it or the Thandi Sarak, opposite of it or rather a religious visit to Naina Devi Temple...or some casual time pass in The Flattish....all are worth enjoying.

Truly the heart of Nainital! Situated between mountains, although in seasons it's fully packed but riding a boat there is still peaceful. Or even walking along the lake at night. You are gonna love it :)

It’s the first hill station of my life. First thing me I visited here in October 2016 with my friend. Since then I visited 9 times here and every it gives the peace which we don’t get in cities like Delhi. It excites me till the level that I visited here by my car, bike, and scooty too. One of the best hill stations, like Manali, cheap and best. Simply economical.

This is a one of best lake in series of my touring journey. Even Dal Lake beauty is fade in front of this lake. Cleanliness is maintained by government authorities. Boat and fish make the boating fantastic. I suggest everyone must go here at least once in a life. Nainital lake is one of the beautiful lakes i have witnessed till now. Lake along side mall road which has amazing street food and shopping stalls. Early morning you can do cycling with your partner or friends and in the evening you can enjoy the walk with hot chocolate. Amazing place.

Amazing place - definitely one of the rare zoo where all animals were extremely healthy with a shiny coat of fur! You can actually see tigers, leopards, bear, wolves up close. Glad I skipped Corbett cause this was better, easier with kids and far cheaper. Only reason for 4 stars is that the zoo is on an incline. There is a lot of uphill climbing and for senior citizens and even not so fit adults, it's quite tiring. But probably the best experience in Nainital - rest is all very commercial and similar to other hill stations.

It's a nice place to visit. One must visit this place, it's kind of tracking and a zoo enjoyment... The zoo is very well maintained and cleaned. The best part what I liked about the zoo is that they have made the arrows which you should follow and it will help you to see all the animals and birds. The best attractions are the Tigers, leopard, red panda, parrots and love birds..

Nainital zoo is a good experience, specially the Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopards and the different kinds of birds they had. They had red panda as well and many kind of deers. The entry fee for this zoo is 100 per person. The timing is 10-5pm. The travel experience of this zoo is also very good. You have to book tickets for the can service from the mall road and go at the hill top. After that also you have to Trek a bit to the entry gate.

Comparatively a smaller zoo but with a good variety of high altitude animals. You won't find animals which habitat in warmer climate. The zoo is walkable for about 25 minutes from the Mall road, if you can walk uphill. Otherwise you may take a shuttle from the Mall road (chargeable), till last 150 meters, which you will anyway have to walk. Don't bring elderly or people who have trouble walking/climbing uphill. Children will definitely enjoy and you can spend some 2-3 good hours here. Has a variety of birds & deers. A couple of Royal Bengal Tiger, a few Pandas, black bear, leopard. Keep left and follow the arrows on the ground while walking. This way, you will ensure 100% completion or else you may skip out a couple of animals, if you walk haphazardly.

This is high altitude zoo and I think the best zoo in India where animals are living in natural environment. You can see all the animals easily. The zoo is very neat and clean and animals are also healthy. First time I saw white peacock in this zoo and looks very good. The other peacock was dancing when I visited. The distance from mall road is around 2 KM and this is a must visit place if you come to Nainital.

Its a high altitude zoo. Lots of animals and well maintained zoo. Since the zoo is on mountain expect alot of walking up and down the terrain. The best part is that they have preserved the nature and tree within zoo. Few of the enclosures feel like jungle. Must visit for your kids.

One during the stay at Nainital must visit zoo situated in the city on hills. Thursday is closed otherwise it is open since morning to evening 4.30pm. One of the finest Zoo situated in hills and well maintained. For senior citizens, it is difficult to reach but their entry is free. Bengal tiger and other animals are well placed. It is very difficult to reach this place. There are no markings as to where to park the car and no cabs can enter the way leading up to the zoo. The only way to reach this place is but shuttle (the wait is more than 30mins during peak times) or by two wheelers. Apart from this To reach the entry you have to climb really high and zoo is actually vertical so be prepared to hike a lot. The zoo is nicely maintained and I got to see tiger, leopard, bear.

Highly underrated zoon in Nainital I guess.. Situated on the mall road the zoo is amazing place to see closely Tigers, Leopards, Red Panda, Bear & many other wild animals. Place is on hill that's the only trouble as walking on foot is a concern for senior citizens. Overall a must visit zoo when in Nainital.

It's a good place to visit.... I recommend getting there on your own if you don't have any knee pain then this is the best way. The ticket price would be 100 per head. Lioness is the best part here because you can watch them nearly rest are good.

It even has lot of fun activities for kids. It has flying fox as adventure sport also. Also at the top most point of the cave you can enjoy the beautiful view of nanital. It also has a canteen. I would however request you if you have high BP issue you should not go inside the caves as at times it is very small and you have to sit lay down even to cross the cave and you might feel it suffocating.

Garden park with shade trees, multiple caves for exploring & a mechanical bull ride. The entry fee of cave garden is ₹100 for adults. The place is quite amazing. It has lot of caves and animal sound in background makes it more amazing experience. It even has lot of fun activities for kids. It has flying fox as adventure sport also. Also at the top most point of the cave you can enjoy the beautiful view of nanital. It also has a canteen. I would however request you if you have senior citizens, you should not go inside the caves as at times it is very small and you have to sit lay down even to cross the cave and you might feel it suffocating.

A nice place to visit once....u will get to see actual caves of brat,tiger etc..not senior citizens friendly as one need to climb or go through narrow rocks but kids will love it surely. Even senior citizens too can visit only if they are fit and feel comfortable going through narrow rocks ...as sometimes u need to climb over rocks and sometimes need to go down via slippery rocks so be cautious while visiting these caves but enjoy too.

Kinda good park for just some outgoings if you're living nearby here. But the major issue which I noticed is that there is lack of sign boards indicating which place is where as the park is very massive and consist many visiting sights within it. Talking about this park specifically, its good cleanliness is maintained properly and the view is really good particularly for the statue along with the tree 🌲 there!

It is a great place to visit especially if you're excited to do some adventures. The place is awesome and the tickets are available at the entry gate. It costs 50 INR per person to get into the park.

It’s a good experience for children I must say. For me it was a okish experience. It has got some artificial sounds of lion and birds which are on continuous play. Yeah but the caves are really slippery too and it makes it hard for a healthy person to go along or pass through the caves. One can skip caves too. Inside they also have other attractions such as bull ride and rope cycling but it was not operational as I could not find any staff member there.

I can definitely say that this was our second spot of attraction after Naini Lake during our Nainital visits, the caves were awesome. Entry fee is Rs 100 for adults and Rs 60 for children up to 10 years of age. A small canteen is there inside the park.

A lovely Cave and cold place to start your trip. The caves are worth going in and exploring and the temperature goes low so it's cold and nice in there. The place has a canteen and some adventure activities like a zipline cycle and the balancing on a Bull. We loved it. Has a forest look and is well maintained. An hour is enough here.

Not a very big park but so many things are very nice which we can enjoy here. Very nice waterfall and Cave canteen inside. Cave is very interesting and On the starting point a cute tree was there and Tree will give u reply

Natural caves .. one time visit is suggested when in Nainital. This is not suitable for older people or the ones having difficulty in walking. You will have to walk quite a bit & pass through narrow caves. The ticket is Rs 50 & last entry is done by 4:30pm. You will find a few activities like mini zip line for kids as well inside.

Best place.. kids had fun with zip line and air cycling... cave walking is only for young and energetic people. People who have knees pain should not go inside cave. Others it is awesome place for adventure lovers

Eco cake is a good place to hangout with kids and family. there are 4-5 caves which are really maintained and proper lightning arrangement are there but the path are narrows. There are some caves where you have to bend low so I recommend not taking old people here.

Great experience, I would definitely recommend this place. People should go enjoy and feel underneath the rock and between those big cracks which are naturally formed.. some caves are too narrow one I remember is "Bat cave" thus go cautiously.

A man made tree welcomes you in eco cave park is the best experience especially for children. In total there are 6 caves, two in right and 4 in left. Panther cave is most difficult to track. There are also a view point on top.....offering scenic views of Nainital.

I found this place amazing. This is near to nainital lake. Going through cave was nice experience . There is less area to walk so you have to struggle which made it worth visiting. Entry is 100 indian rupees for adult and 60 indian rupees for children. Small canteen inside the park but not worth going. Sitting benches available so you can relax and enjoy nature.

At Nainital mall road, you have to cross the lake and take a slight right. You will get the ropeway counter, buy the ticket, submit it and wait for your turn. Each cable car carries 10 people. This is a beautiful place at a small climb from Nainital Mall road. You have to first take the ropeway, then you walk a little. The walk and climb is easy, comfortable for even a 3 year old but not for senior citizens as there is a considerable incline. The view from here is beautiful, you can see the snow clad peaks far away in the horizon above the clouds. There are no extra charges but if you want to use a telescope to see it clearly, you have to pay 20Rs. There are many souvenir shops, dinosaur park, horseride, go karting, bumpcars etc available here along with small eateries offering snadwiches, maggi, tea, coffee etc. Must visit!

At first getting there itself is a project. Trolley service is fully loaded. Although those guys are kind but still too much pressure on resources. Secondly very poorly managed other nature view. I feel Admin can do justice to this place by thinking and promoting innovative stuff. Overall a 1 star experience.

You get to see snow and Himalayas only if you're lucky. It's better to enquire about the day's climate before you decide to go to the place. Nevertheless, the ropecar ride to the top gives you a good view of Nainital and the Nainital lake. It's worth visiting if you're visiting it for the first time.

This is the east highest peak of Nainital. We have reached there with ropeways. A nice view point to see snows on the hilltops during winter season. You will enjoy the cool Breeze from this hill top but the are is not that much clean.

Snow view point in Nainital is view point at the top of a hill. There's a ropeway available to reach the top area. It costs 350 two way per person for this ride. So keep your tickets safely till you completely you ride back. There is a man with a telescope at a very nominal price of Rs 20. You can enjoy the course view of the snow capped Himalayas at this point and click pictures. It's best to go between Dec and March when there's snowfall in the Himalayan region. Unfortunately, the hill top area has been completely commercialized with plenty of shops and a silly dinosaur park. If you are not interested in all this like me, once you reach up, also directly about the his view point. Note that you get only an hour to roam around the place and need to take the ropeway ride back down.

Nice place to see Himalayan range, adventure island their is avaliable lost of activities like zipline, sky cycling, go kart shooting etc. Easiest way to go from ropeway which is chargeable 360 rupees per person for both up-down and stay time is 1 hours. You can see top view of nainital.

A small area from where you can see the mountain ranges of himalaya. On ground level there is a fast food corner, area to sit, having some tea etc. Also you can try some gun shots( 12 shots at ₹100). Food items are at reasonable price. There is a small round area at that place ( at some height) from where you can get himalaya view. Area is small as seeing the crowd. From Nainital you may come here via taxi car or via ropeway. But the view from here is really beautiful.

There's two way u can get go snow view. Either in car through the top gate or through rope way from Malittal . Rope way seems expensive as it charges 650 for a single person to and fro . On top there are some rides suitable for children and adults

This stunning temple complex combines a Shiva temple, a Shaktipeeth, and a Rama temple, all perched atop a mountain offering breathtaking views. The facilities are excellent, with ample car parking, a market selling delicious food, and everything you need for a pleasant visit. I highly recommend this temple for its spiritual significance, scenic beauty, and convenient amenities.

Beautiful Shiva Temple, located atop of a mountain. You need to walk 7-800 meters to reach the temple (depending where you find the parking) which also includes the staircase to the temple. Right at the entrance of the premises you will find shops serving food and Pooja Prasad. You will also find vendors of seasonal fruits, I had 'Kaafal' for the first time in my life. Fruit has a different aroma and have a real big seed compared to the fruit itself but a must try if you love fruits. You will find Shikanji vendors too and guides who charge 300 INR for a stroll (we never took one). The temple is a high energy point, I could feel the vibration just by facing my palms towards the temple. Although they keep it dirty, it can be managed better I felt like give me an hour and I will clean this mess up. Along the temple there is a cliff below the temple and a vast view of the valley surreal for sure. They have food tapris, picture points and even ziplining (500 pp). I did the zipline and my heart was pounding out of my mouth due to vertigo. You will surely need 3-4 hours to enjoy the beauty of the valley and the magic of the temple. Har Har Mahadev.

A must visit place whenever you are in Nainital. Around 40 km from Nainital, this place is a heaven. Mukteshwar temple is very old temple (Pandavas /Mahabharat linked) . Mukteshwar has a very pleasant weather all year around. Even if it is hot in Nainital or surrounding, you will feel so cool in mukteshwar. The devdar forests are so so soothing and beautiful that you will want to get lost. Do visit on 2 wheeler then you will enjoy more . Riding bike in that heaven is an experience in itself. Selfie points tea and Maggie are delicious, do try.

The place is beautiful but there is no parking space for lot of traffic. The temple is clean and well maintained but during peak season it’s really crowded and one has to wait for an hour for their turn to visit the main temple. There is also a way that leads to a view point which is beautiful.

A short trek to reach the top of the hill and wow you get a gigantic view of the Himalayas. A wind touching your face would make you forget all the ruckus of life and it soothes the nerve. A few activity is setup as well such as zip line etc.

We took a guide who charged minimal amount and took us via trekking and showed 3-4 nearby places (including its history, stories and other info) and clicked our pics too at the best locations. The temple can be reached from the direct stairs to the temple or through the Chowli Ki Jaali way. The Temple and the surrounding area is breathtaking and the nature here is just awesome. You can spend good time here and at the Chowli Ki Jaali do not forget to sip Malta juice which looks similar to Orange but tastes awesome.

This is a 5000 year old Shiva temple. It is famous among locals and tourists. One must visit the same. Since Mukteshwar is a very small place , there are very few tourist attractions. Parking is an issue thus park your car properly

Religious place. Scenic beauty. 40 km away from Nainital. Go through Bike, Car, Scooty, Cab. Parking is a little challenge You'll get paid meal ( Avg taste as per me) at the entrance of the temple. There will be big queue so better do the Darshan before doing anything else.

Mukteshwar dham is situated on the hilltop surrounded by the beautiful hills... Vews and roads are breathtaking.... Just in walking distance you will find the chauli ki jali...famous sunset point and main attraction for the visitors... Beautiful place must visit once 💓
