Waterfalls
Corbett Falls is a picturesque waterfall located in a forest setting that can be reached either by car or on foot. The entrance fee is reasonable, with different prices for individuals and LMVs. A short trek leads to the main waterfall, which is an ideal spot for photography enthusiasts. Visitors may come across wild animals while making their way to the falls, particularly from November to February, when it's the best time to visit.
Corbett fall located near village chhoti Haldwani. Very nice view and very near to main road. But this fall is closed. You can only visit and take photos. Some modifications work was going on. Nice place you can visit with family.

Things are kept as it is. Quite natural and serene place. Tickets are too high. Adult 50/- is okay but car 100/- is too much in my opinion. Waterfall was pretty

This is seriously a beautiful place to visit. They have lot of parking space. Ticket is ₹50 per person and ₹100 for LMV. All details in The picture. A short trek to the main waterfall. It’s a perfect picture spot. You’ll have to fight to get a picture. If you are lucky, you might see wild animals along your way to waterfall. Best time to visit, November to February.

Good parking area available. It is generally 15-20minutes trek to the waterfall but it is not that worth going. Small waterfall just for picture since it’s gated

Small trek to this beautiful falls was worth it. We clicked some best pics of out Uttarakhand vacation here. Even elederly people can come here with little help. They are a few steep steps to climb. Though they should put up a little sign or arrow boards at the beginning to avoid confusion from where to go.

Cool experience , the waterfall is great , the care for environment is awesome . Nothing to say about you can just see the pics ( you can't touch water or bath in it it is restricted )

One of the places to visit near Jim Corbett National Park. Corbett falls is a small waterfall that is in the middle of a forest. The car is allowed inside from the main gate and can go up to a parking spot that is close to the falls. There is a small trek amidst the jungle in order to reach the waterfalls. The ticket per person is Rs 50 while for the car is Rs 100. The waterfall is small though but the surroundings are really nice. I would suggest you to visit this place if you are visiting Jim Corbett.

Corbett Falls is a scenic water fall located at 25 kms from Ramnagar. Developed as a picnic spot for tourist, Corbett Water Falls is surrounded by dense teak wood forest which extends its natural beauty. Sound of the waterfall makes perfect melody with chippings of the birds. The falls are lovely and always with water, though bit of a drive and walk to reach there. Make sure you are wearing comfortable shoes as you will need to walk a bit. Must visit place, a beautiful waterfall and oldest attraction of Ramnagar and way to Nainital. Reach there before 4 PM. The rustling of the leaves and the deathly calm in Corbett Fall are undoubtedly beautiful. The vast area surrounding the water falls offers excellent camping and parking options. It’s a lovely picnic area. The “Nature Walk” museum is a nearby destination where visitors can get a sense of unadulterated nature in all its tranquilly and basic beauty. Nestled within a serene landscape, Corbett waterfall offers a refreshing retreat for nature enthusiasts and weary souls alike. Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting this hidden gem, where the soothing embrace of nature and the gentle cascade of water provided a much-needed respite from the chaos of everyday life.

It was a nice place. Not a very big one but it was good to visit. Kids were happy to see this. You are not allowed to go inside water. The place is very clean, completely plastic free. It was very good to see such a clean place. It is a 200-300 meter walk from parking, a very simple and easy walk. Even my parents took only 8-10 minutes to reach there. Entry tickets were: 50 rs/- per adult 100 rs/- for 4 wheeler For kids, there is a small canal where they can enjoy a soothing bath. Overall i liked the place and worth a visit.

Corbett Tiger Reserve is one of the best place for Wildlife lovers. It is situated in Nainital district, Uttrakhand. It is well connected with Ramnagar, Haldwani. It's a very big Tiger Reserve established in 1936. Dhikala, Bijrani, Garjia, Jhirna, Dhela, Durgadevi, Sonanadi, Sitabani, Mohan etc. entry gates are there. We took three Jypsi safari from Dhela gate towards Jhirna Jypsi Safari Cost approximately Rs.5000-5500/- including Permit, Naturalist cum guide, Jypsi charges. Safari timing for 35 Km approx track in May/June - Morning 5.30 AM to 9.30 AM and in evening 3 PM - 6 PM. Jhirna gate is 25 km away from Ramnagar. Safari starts from Dhela gate. Beautiful landscape, River basin, High bank, Forest Camp, Jhirna Forest guest House are there inside the jungle. Jhirna FRH is the most Wonderful place to stay inside the Corbett Tiger Reserve, Jhirna zone. You can enjoy the nature. You have to pre-book this rest houses otherwise very difficult to get the booking. I have spent few time here during our safari. Washroom, Canteen is there. I am fortunate enough to witness the grand sighting of Three Royal Bengal Tigers, Sambar, Cheetal, Himalayan Langur, Blue- tailed bee eater, Great Hornbill, Paradise Flycatcher, Jungle fowl, Indian Peafowl, Common Kingfisher, Mayna, Woodpecker, and many more. It's a very wonderful experience for me.
Soumendu Khan — Google review
Visited with my adult son for 4 days/5 nights, staying just outside the Reserve. The first day, we went on elephants in search of tigers. Fun, but seemingly useless way to find tigers as elephants make lots of noise and tigers hide very well. Next 3 days, we rented a 4 wheel drive vehicle with a driver/guide and security guy with a rifle. Fascinating! The Reserve is very large and the guide drives from valley to valley, through all sorts of environments, where we saw plenty of wildlife. He tracks tigers by listening to the sounds of the wildlife; monkeys and birds especially have distinctive calls to warn each other if a tiger is nearby. So by listening to and understanding their chatter, one searches for the mighty predator. Out last afternoon, we used this method to find a male and a female tiger calling to one another across a small valley. We followed the “song” of the male and were very lucky to find him resting under a tree singing to his lady-love. Fantastic experience!

Lovely place to feel the real nature. Main attraction here is the national animal of India, the Tiger. Tiger tracking is an interesting task as it involves lot of suspense, patience, talent and luck. Currently many sightings are there is Dhikala zone due to active cubs in winter of 2020.

Corbett Tiger Reserve is an amazing national park. Pros - You get to see tigers, elephants and other amazing animals. Cons - there are no self-drive options. The pros outweigh the Cons for sure. The guides always get you where you want to be and to give you the best chance of seeing wildlife. A thing to keep in mind is that this isn't a zoo so wildlife isn't guaranteed. My advice is to fall in love with birds and the big cats are a real bonus. If you do want to see a big cat patience is key. You will likely need to book multiple safaris. Since, need to be out of the park at certain hours don't be late getting up. Also, you are outside. Bring additional water and sunscreen.
Martin Fransham — Google review
We had several safaris entering through differenet gates and each time we had different animals, birds, flora, and scenery. We went very early in the mornings arriving at dawn. We had been told to wear layers of clothing as it would be very cold to begin and then hot by midday and it was. Our evening safaris also began in the warmth and ended in the cool of the evening at dusk. We just cannot describe all the experiences we had, the deer on the riverbed, the hillside jungle, the various monkeys, the wild elephant herd on the plan, the jungle cat on the road. The beautiful birds, eagles and flowers galore. Our guides described what we were seeing, the habitat and breeding of different animals, we were fortunate to see a tiger after its kill. We saw paw marks claw marks droppings and smelt it and heard it, Loved it. Some jeeps could missed, with being mended as foot steps broken and some guides self opinionated. We were always in a jeep solely for us three so we could ask questions and hear replies. Really enjoyed the time.

Sitabani Wildlife Reserve is a protected natural area which serves as a haven for endangered avian species, elusive leopards and majestic elephants. The reserve is predominantly covered in lush verdant forests and offers breathtaking panoramic vistas of the towering Himalayas. As a popular tourist destination, Sitabani provides visitors with an immersive experience in nature through eco-tourism activities such as trekking, bird-watching and wildlife safaris.
An absolute heaven on the earth this place is meant for solace searching hearts. Far away from the chaos of cities and the overcrowded mountain hotels, the place is absolutely serene and blissful. Welcomed with great food, great treks and hospitality, one must definitely plan a visit to Sitabani Wildlife Reserve created thoughtfully by Abhishek Ray who is a bonafide conservationist apart from being a great music and film composer and director based out of Mumbai. With the hard and heart work that he has poured in into SBR, you will be surrounded by the more than 500 species of birds, mighty magical monsoon rivers on various sides, the lush green overwhelming forests with wild cats and great starry nights just to mention a few. Definitely a must have experience! I just had mine!!

If some one wants to visit Jim Corbett National park, do avoid this zone as this zone is reserve forest and a buffer zone of Jim Corbett, very few tigers are here and very unlikely to see anyone during safari. We were fortunate enough to see 2 Langoors, 2 peacocks, 1 Lizrard after spending of Rs 7500/-. This zones only attraction is ancient Sitavani temple where Sita with her two sons Luv and Kush supposedly lived.

Positive : 1. Excellent location. No doubt this is one of my best place. 2. Chandan and his team is very efficient and polite. Never said no to anything. Excellent Hospitality. Area of improvement: 1. Need maintenance 2. Hygiene is not upto the mark 3. I strongly believe, management should seriously think to stationed one knowledgable “Naturalist” who have good understanding of flora & fauna of the location & guide the guest properly.

One must visit This place with ur friends and family .

Place is very nice, calm, serene, close to nature. Cottage is also well equipped with all sorts of amenities. Evening and early morning ambience is awesome. Good place to spend time with yourself amongst the nature and feel relaxed. We even heard barking deer's call from surrounding dense forest in evening- a signal for tiger/leopard visit. Lots of birds are always playing background music. Food is nice. However, per pax rate is not considerate compared to everything. If rate would have been per room, even if premium due to location, more travellers would have got interest, since in 1 room, 4-5 people can easily accommodate.

Just make sure you carry everything you need besides food and park yourself there leaving the five-star disco, DJ, swimming pool expectations behind. Chill and connect with nature in absolute tranquility with spectacular surroundings.

One of the densest zones of Corbett. Tiger sightings are difficult because the jungle is thick - but population of tigers is very high here as well. We spotted 4 tigers - in an open area of the river bed. But it was a hit or miss - they walked away quickly into the bank foliage so no other gypsies saw them. Hundred percent recommended for the beauty of the jungle even if you don't see the tigers. Plant and tree bio diversity is very high as well. Book safaris in advance for better chances of early entrance.

Small gallery by the roadside just beyond Aamdanda gate as you go from Ram Nagar. It looks like a roadside kiosk and is actually a part of a cluster of shacks. The entry is free and open. The owner if not busy elsewhere also can be met here and has prints to sell. The gallery has very beautiful and thematically arranged large colourful prints of the picture by the owner. It looks very small from outside but has 3-4 rooms. One can spend about an hour here. Entry is free. A small box kept for any contribution to a NGO run by Mr Deep for conservation.

The Kosi Deck, a stunning riverside eatery, is a definite must-see. In addition to being one of the few establishments that serves alcohol, this restaurant offers delectable Kumaon cuisine and boasts awe-inspiring views. Make sure to stroll along the riverbank and catch sight of horses leisurely grazing. Lunching here was an extraordinary experience that shouldn't be missed! It's perplexing why the Google rating for this place falls short.
This is a small deck cafe in Riverview Retreat Resort, Dhikuli. If you are staying in the hotel, finding a table here isn't a problem but if you are just visiting the cafe please book it in advance. This place will blow your mind, its beautiful. We had gone there around 7pm and we loved the vibe. The view is overlooking the forest and the Kosi river flowing through. Its so serene. Such a breathtaking view. They had such soothing music playing in the background which was just adding so much to the whole experience. The food was well prepared and tasty. The atmosphere is quite good. Food is fine here, pocket friendly I would say. But the biggest issue is, service. Very unprofessional and delayed.
rajive N — Google review
The Kosi Deck is the river-front restaurant of Riverview Retreat. It sits on a wide terrace, below flowering trees, overlooking the Kosi river. It's very scenic, and the cane furniture is stylish. The food here runs the gamut from Indian (including regional delicacies) to continental (sandwiches, soups, salads, burgers, pizzas, grills and so on) through to East Asian, middle eastern, and more. There are various hot and cold beverages (alcohol is available too) as well as some desserts. We tried some regional dishes (a Himachali malai mutton served with bhang ki chutney, walnut chutney and khameeri roti; and sorshe maachh), as well as some international small plates, with a chocolate brownie for dessert. The food was good, but it took almost half an hour for service, and a couple of side dishes mentioned in the menu were not provided. Service also was somewhat slipshod and erratic, and we were not warned that certain dishes would take a long time.
Madhulika Liddle — Google review
The place was extremely beautiful with great views. However, the experience got soured due to poor quality food with no taste whatsoever. They failed to provide how they described the items in the menu. Ex- Four cheese pizza had just mozarella, kejriwal toast mentioned that it came with chilli cheese toast, however normal toasted bread was given, pizzas were beyond horrible, 600 bucks noodles were like 50 rs thela chowmein. Capuccino was not capuccino but filter coffee. In the end staff were courteous and helpful to compensate us in some way, however, for the exorbitant prices charged for the dishes, the quality needs to improve by a big big margin.

Coming to the ambience that was too good in one word awesome can't imagine that you will get this kind of restaurant in Corbett after watching other restaurants. Near this place you will also get play activity for your child.

The food was amazing and the service too. I would rate it as one of the best places you can eat in this area. The owner was very nice and was kind enough to come to my table and ask me how the food was. He even told me a nice story of the origins of the restaurant. The food and service is amazing!!

This a swanky restaurant on the Ramnagar Mohan Road. If you are coming from Ramnagar it's on the right side of the road. The ambience is awesome, but that's where the buck stops, the portions are abysmally cheats. If you are coming with a big family, better look for alternatives. The quality of the food is good, not outstanding. The cutlery was deficient. And they use cheap quality water bottles for serving water, with this age of awareness about the ill effects of microplastics in human body, it's the duty of the owner to be considerate on these issues. Minting money is a byproduct for passionate workmanship. Hope our next visit goes better.

Wonderful place to eat a quick meal or unwind. Prices are very affordable. Ambience is so pretty and cozy. They have feeding chairs for toddlers and an outdoor / rooftop seating. Food is yum and service is quick!

Food was tasty and quantity was also fine. Ambience was really amazing both outside and inside the restaurant. You can take pretty good pictures around it.

A very well designed and tastefully some place with live music. The staff is easy going but very helpful and courteous. The place has a BYOB policy which is great and the open rooftop area is a magnet for crowds so go early if you want to hear live music. They have mist generators all over so heat etc is not an issue at any time of the day. Food and mocktail etc are priced ok but maybe slightly expensive by Jim Corbett standards.

The ambience is amazing! Such a nice and cute place in the jungle. The food is great. The drinks are refreshing!! They have plenty of options and it's multicuisine. The staff are courteous and kind. Very well maintained place

Delicious food, friendly staff and great presentation. You cannot miss the board while crossing the road, it has such attractive vibe. They even serve hookah here. A must go to cafe to relax after a long disappointing safari as tiger's are always chilling in Jim Corbett;)

The food is good in taste as well as quantity. We tried Veg Khurchan and Paneer butter masala. Both were very good specially veg khurchan which had mild flavours but went well with Missi roti and garlic naan. There was fairly enjoyable live music on the first floor. There are a few bakery desserts near the entrance which look tempting. The ambiance and decor is nice with focus on greenery. Overall a nice place to enjoy your meals.

The best restaurant in entire Jim Corbett. Forget about the food in hotels, this is way more delicious and authentic tasting. Much better prices compared to resorts as well. I a big foodie from Delhi and I tried few outlets in The Corbett but I was disappointed. But when I tried Village vatika, I was soo happy and amazed by the food taste and quality. Must visit

Nice decor and ambience. Can accomodate 200 people in 1 go. The menu is extensive and this is the only fine fine multi cuisine restaurant in an area of 15 kms. The staff is courteous and friendly. We tried Kumaoni Bhuna Gosht but little disappoint with the flavour as the Bhuna Ghost must have that charcoal fragrance which was missing. Ordered Lachha Paratha and Butter Naan which was super fresh and hot.

The cabanas in the outdoor area are incredibly stunning, particularly during the evening. The interiors have a distinct tiger-inspired theme with paintings and animal hides. Their playlist is quite impressive. It's a fantastic place to visit before venturing into the jungle (Jim Corbett). This establishment offers great music, atmosphere, food, and most importantly, positive energy. Children were captivated by the sight of a tiger's head and hide on display in the restaurant.
Excellent place to have food on this route. Great ambience and staff, Ravi particularly. Welcoming environment and overall a classy place. Keep up the work. Will visit soon. Cheers :) P.s. what you see on the screen is veg platter which is a great dish to start with.

Good restaurant very close to the place were staying. Although there were not many people at the time we visited for dinner. Service was amazing and super fast. The main door makes a lot of noise, so better to sit upstairs or outside. Soup - little spicy Main course was good Overall an okay experience.

Popped in for a coffee and ended up staying for lunch and another coffee! Firstly the decor inside and out is beautifully done, feels like a little oasis. The service was great! All the staff were very attentive, polite and helpful as well as quick service. To finish off the food was amazing, probably the best tandoori prawns i’ve ever had! We will be back ☺️🙏

Amazing place to stop by before heading to the jungle (Jim Corbett). This place has good music, ambience, food and most of all positive vibes. My children were busy looking at the tiger head and skin mounted on the wall of the restaurant. For adults it’s usual,we all know taxidermy but for kids it’s a world of questions :-)… we had delicious dinner- specially the lemon fish. Had few crazy hours at diner’s villa. A must stop for the ones going to the jungle and also for the ones heading back to the concrete ones 👍🏻👍🏻

One of the best place to hangout in Jim Corbett area or dhikuli. Overall the starters are very delicious. If you are a non vegetarian go for main course. You can have drinks of your own here. Enjoy live music on weekends. Try to come by the evening here as the atmosphere in the night is very soothing. Lights and all functions in night is bright. Very spacious can accomodate 100 to 200 people at a time.

Went there for lunch, ordered starters and burgers. starters arrived after 1 hour, till that time our meal was finished . Calling bell was not working and even their staff didn’t realise it. After placing the order no one was bothered to check whether you received the order or not. Place was good. Food was delicious but the service was very poor.

The CORBETT CITY ROYAL RESTAURANT is renowned for its delectable Chicken Biryani and exceptional Chicken Snacks. This eatery boasts a wide array of chicken dishes, and the amiable staff is always on hand to assist with any queries. It offers halal meat, making it a unique choice in Ramnagar. The individual known as "chacha" who sits here exudes politeness, charm, and friendliness.

We visited Mudhouse Under Mangoes based on positive reviews on Google. Our group of three families with children was specifically looking for a restaurant that offered non-spicy food. We contacted the owner, Shruti, who assured us that they could accommodate our preferences. The food prepared at the restaurant was outstanding and reminded us of home-cooked meals. We particularly enjoyed the tawa roti paired with flavorful yet mild dishes. The kids also loved the non-spicy options available.
Awesome place, great hospitality, nice people. We stayed here for 2 days and they really made us feel like home. Food is super tasty and fresh here and service is extremely nice. They'll arrange everything for you at a reasonable price from cabs to safaris. The property is really beautiful with nice gardens and mudhouse rooms which have all the facilities you can ask for. Their home made mango pickle is so good, we took some with us home :)

The place is good it is located on the main road. They also have the homestay which is made from the mud and it is known as mud house. The concept was good, but I didn't find it hygienic as the mosquitos were there. They have a restaurant also, and the food is really good. Try their aloo paratha and mango ice cream. The host is really very good and calm.

It's good place for bachelor only not for family vacations. Because of the safety issue.. there is no safety on the door.. it's just showpiece and food not was not up the mark, food price was too high, and service was very poor..

Sanket and Shruti are really great host. We felt like visiting our natives place and spending time with family. The property is very artistic and the mudhouse are really a hell of a experience to stay.... being very cozy and comfortable. U will find many small small things handpicked from various sources and this tells how serious and dedicated Sanket is about giving a great experience to their guest, For Example: antique watche, fire flame lamps, mud lamps, floor rugs, handmade copper crockery, unique Tea Cups etc etc.. Watching movie under the stars in an open air theater setup is again iceing on the cake, followed by dinner. Collection of recipes by Sanket and Shruti are amazing. I bet some u have never heard of their recipes and those are the things one must try, I loved the Kala dal and Bhaang seeds ( cannabis seeds) chutney and the home made mango icecream in Dessert. We stay for less than 17Hrs but can write a 20 pages book on the information I gather and experience I had. Surely i missed my family as it was a random trip with one o my best friend but will be visiting back soon but this time with family and few more close friends for a long stay. Thanks Sanket and Shruti, keep up the good work and keep giving wonderful memories to all your guest as u did it for us. See u soon...!!

Nice place. We stopped here while on the way to corbett. Good food. Tasty mango ice cream. We had 5/6 bowls of it. Freshly made pickles of their own mango tree. The person who served us was very sweet. The resort is developing and a part of it is under construction.

Great food and great set up. A chilled out place for one to sit, relax and enjoy the buransh squash with soda. Mutton nihari had authentic taste and biryani was far better than ordinary ones of lot of places. Biryani is one thing even big names don't get it right and use short cuts to prepare, here that was not the case. Bakheer was sweet and a good finisher of meal. Hosts were warm and hospitable.
