Rushden Lakes Shopping Centre is a popular shopping mall with a range of stores and restaurants. There is also a cinema complex, cafe, and indoor play area hidden in the trees. The mall can get busy by lunch time, but it's worth checking out for a great day out with kids.
I don't like shopping but Rushden Lakes is the exception. Plenty of free parking, great choice of retail outlets including top brands. Location is great with the Lake and a good choice of restaurants to end the trip.

More shops needed. Gym could be beneficial. The lake is only for renting the boats not for the public. SUP free entry acceptance would be beneficial for public and promotion of area on social media.

I have explored Rushden Lakes enough to write a review about it . The cinema experience here is fantastic, offering a wide selection of movies. There is an activity area for the kids too.
The surrounding restaurants provided diverse culinary options, making it a great one-stop destination.
A bit more variety in shops would enhance the overall appeal. Overall, a delightful spot for entertainment and dining.

Great day out. Kids went to Rock Up to do some rock climbing then for lunch with some awesome DINOSAURS! The lake is lovely and there are plenty of places to shop, eat and play. Cineworld is here too and you get 5 hours free parking. I advise arriving in the morning as it can get really busy by lunch time!

A fantastic shopping experience. Plenty of things to do,eat and drink. You can choose from a variety of restaurants and coffees. Free parking for 5 hours. What I never saw until now was the Dog Wash: you can bath your dog right there and this is a briliiant idea,I was really impressed.

They have fannels which have designer products such as burberry, versace, VL, dolce & gabbana but my only negative is that they do not list the price AFTER sale. Fraser also has pretty nice discounts on their Tommy and polo. There's also a cinema.
Overall positives are parking is up to 5 hours free, and the lake view is pretty nice.

Good for a quick shopping trip. We went early on Sunday morning and it was starting to get a bit crowded. There was plenty of parking with a limit of 5 hours. Plenty of shops to shop or browse. We loved the walk by the lake and our toddler loved eating ice cream by the lakeside.
You could also rent a paddle boat and go boating as well.
Prasanna Deshpande — Google review
I like coming here.
Lots of places to eat and good shops. In the summer, it's good to sit outside for food and for chilling around the lake.
Went to Nandos for lunch and Patisserie Valerie for hot drinks and cakes.

What a FANTASTIC shopping centre!! Finally a South African style approach to shopping centres with FREE PARKING, spacious parking bays, wonderful large stores, varied food choices, entertainment like climbing walls and movies and then a beautiful approach to nature which in summer must be totally glorious. Can’t praise this place highly enough! Only thing I would suggest is removing the silly 5 hour free parking limit. By doing that you force people to spend less time shopping which kind of defeats the purpose of the centre. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Free parking available for up to 5 hours.
Plenty of spaces, EXCEPT at the weekends it can get very busy !!
Do arrive early, or late in the day if you're visiting at the weekend. Most places are open until 8pm.
Plenty of shops and a lake that you can hire a canoe, Swan or a dragon on to peddle yourself around! ( book to use )
Toilets available. Drop kerbs for prams and wheelchairs.
Disabled parking.
Dogs welcome.
( you can walk around the small lake with the boats on with dogs too ).
Restaurants ( that open early )
Cafes.
A cinema complex that has other activities inside it, especially for children..
You will find Rock up , paradise island, flip out, and starbucks all inside the complex.
It's worth a visit, and although not a massive place, it has alot to offer.
Lidls, waitrose, pets at home, and wickes are also all within walking distance. ( Cross the bridge over the main road to find ).
A lovely long walking path that will take you all the way to stanwick lakes can be accessed behind AJ cycles too. This path has a section for walking and one for cycles, so keep pets and children close..

Plenty of parking, first 5 hours free which is more than enough. Good variety of shops including Flannels plus plenty of food outlets and cinema. The lake is lovely. You can walk around it or do what we did and hire a pedalo, we had a choice of a pink flamingo, red dragon, white Swan or car. Kayaks are available too. £23 for half an hour. We paid for half an hour and given an hour! Didn't give a full 5 stars as some shops felt a little cramped. Enjoyable place to visit.

Decent - nice when the weather is playing ball. Can imagine it's a nightmare to get in and out of at the weekend.
Nice little touches like charging points on the outdoor benches, lots of dog bowls outside shops. Plenty of variety and a nice version of the usual run-of-the-mill retail sites.
Stanwick Lakes is a 750-acre nature reserve in Northamptonshire. The reserve offers a fantastic day out for children, with activities such as nature education services and crafts courses. There's also plenty of space to walk your dog, and Cafe Solar has wonderful views over the lake from its huge windows.
Lovely walks with lots of benches to take in the view, a perfect place to take the family as there are lots of play areas for all ages even including a zip line! And if that's not your thing there are loads of hides and peaceful areas to walk through and explore nature. There is also a great cafe and toilets too!

Beautiful place to go for a picnic... plenty of alcove type views of the lakes. If you enjoy country walks, birdwatching, iron age findings, and brilliant play area for children. Highly recommend a visit.

Come here often to walk the dog. Great views, different pathways so always something new to see. Lovely shack, for beverages and snacks. Pay for parking 3.80 for the day so reasonable. Play area for the children.

Lovely area. Took the 2 kids and they loved it. The walk around the lakes in great with so much wildlife. Will definitely be returning and using their BBQ area. Playgrounds for all ages, assault course, zip line and a splash area. Seating inside, cafes, picnic areas and reasonable parking price of 4.50 for the day. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Really nice place for a walk, spread over quite a large area so even when busy it doesn’t feel it.
Lots of parking available. A lovely cafe with refreshments too.
Liz Wilson — Google review
Lovely place.
You do have to pay for parking. However, there are multiple ways to walk in if you live locally or are happy to park and walk to it.
Lovely visitor centre where you can get drinks and food. Toilets are also available.
Wonderful kids play area, situated next to the Rangers Hut.
There are always lots of activities running for kids and adults.
Friendly staff and well looked after.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on lead at all times. Doggy ice cream is available. Dogs are able to be taken into the visitor centre.
Claire Duncan — Google review
Went there on a weekend. Parking was paid and needs to be paid before you exit. The play area was really great with lots of fun stuff for kids of all ages. It was a little crowded with loads of families and kids, but we didn't have to wait for any of the slides. Our 3 yo enjoyed his time, and loved playing in the sand. One unique thing was the water flowing through the play area and down some wooden structures and places where kids could dip their legs and splash around in.
The park itself is huge and there are several areas to walk. We saw quite a few families putting down blankets and having a picnic. Would definitely visit again and recommend to anyone looking for a fun outing or a picnic.
Prasanna Deshpande — Google review
Easy parking with plenty of room. The park was busy but never felt crowded. There’s plenty to do and see. There’s an adventure playground, great walking and cycling paths and info boards with historical and nature facts. We’ll worth a visit for a fun and cheap day out.
Charlie Hobbs — Google review
Beautiful well kept nature park which so much to do and see. Family weekend walk round the trails did not disappoint. Plenty of open spaces for kids to run around. A treehouse which the kids found really engaging and finishing off the trail on one of the many playgrounds in the area. Truly was a fantastic, well kept park. And for parking for the whole day £4.50 for the whole day was not bad either.

Perfect for everybody! This place is known mostly for its amazing play area! We didn't have children with us but the walks around the lakes were beautiful. Not too long but plenty of different walks. Great little cafe, plenty of picnic benches around. There were also little play areas along the walks to keep little ones entertained! Parking prices were very reasonable as well. Great day out :)

Beautiful place perfect for the whole family lovely play Area and little cafe and gift shop with museum upstairs, sand are for kids with plenty of climbing frames and a stunning view of the lake

A great place to take the kids. A big playground with things for a range of ages and then lots of paths around lakes to take a walk that suits how long you'd like to be there. There are several bird hides around to watch the wildlife.
There's an adventure walk with a zip line and tyre swings too.
Su Fradley — Google review
What a beautiful place, I really recommend going here, the lakes are beautiful. The water is so clear under the bridge that you can see the fish. The park for the children is amazing. Especially the water feature they can play with. I haven't managed to go all the way around, but definitely will go back when I visit my cousin again.
The assault course was great fun.
Either grab yourself a picnic or buy food here and enjoy a great family day out.
Natalie Bowker — Google review
Great place for walking and seeing the wildlife. Buying a year's membership works out cheaper if you live locally and can visit at least once a month. Always a little windy here.
Rebecca Lemon — Google review
As you would expect, the playground was busy and the queues for ice creams were long, but the walks around the lakes were peaceful. We managed to get the second to last parking spot in the overflow car park. Parking is reasonably priced.

Friendly place for family time out🥰. Kid's can play with adults supervision, they will get really muddy, but it's easy to wash😁😁😁,as its only water and sand😜. Kid's definitely will have beautiful memories after visiting this place🥰.
Love it✅
No need for booking tickets in advance as it payable only the car park, £6.5 all day, or you can choose its different rates for 2 or more hours.

Fantastic place, full of endless fun.
There is huge playground, with water play in the summer. Kids can play in the sand as well. There is also a very long walk around lakes with sculptures, things to see, climbing walls and much more. There is also a fantastic obstacle course. You can visit this place on a bike or walk around it.
The cafe is lovely and overlooking the lake. The food is very good.
Herrings Green Activity Farm is a family-friendly farm attraction located in Bedfordshire. The center houses a vast collection of over 200 birds of prey, including eagles, owls, and hawks. Visitors can enjoy daily flying shows to learn more about these impressive birds. In addition to the bird displays, the farm also features goats and rabbits for children to interact with and a play area for them to enjoy.
My wife and I were given the Eagle Experience as a gift, and were finally able to take advantage of it today following all the covid restrictions. What a fantastic occasion it was, we got to hold some of the eagles , see flying demonstrations, and flew a couple of the eagles ourselves! Our host Abbie was very friendly, and very knowledgeable, and made the time that we were with her an altogether enjoyable one. A*****
Jon Millard — Google review
Very fun little farm. Great for kids. Demonstrations with the birds were great and the ladies hosting were friendly and informative (including the new lady who fought the nerves away to host for the first time and did a great job).
The rest of the staff we dealt with were really friendly too.
Barrel rides, owl flights, lots of play equipment, petting zoo, oh and the odd dinosaur kept the kids entertained all morning.
Good value for money. Will be back soon to try the tea room.

Today, I had my birthday present from my lovely family. What a fantastic experience.
Highlight holding a beautiful Red Kite. Wow moment, having a Bald Eagle land on my hand. Most exciting raptor the amazing Bateleur. Funniest Brian the Brahminy Kite.
I met some absolutely beautiful birds.
Jake was very interesting and really knows his stuff.
Sharon, you need need a medal, dealing with visitors, shop and tearoom pretty much single handed and all with a smile on your face.
I can't wait to come back.

What a wonderful day we had on Easter Monday 2022 at Herrings Green Farm! I think it's a fab place to spend time on any given day but for Easter they had set up a fun-filled schedule that all the children loved, including flying displays, tractors rides, animal interactions, an Easter egg hunt and much more. We had children aged 18 months to 12 years and they all said how much they loved it.
It is well worth the money and I'd even recommend an annual membership if you live in the area as it is a such a vast space, with different enclosures, various play areas for all ages, a wide variety of animals, especially birds of prey (with all the interesting information provided) and amenities are great. The staff are knowledgeable and kind, the cafe offers lots of options (we brought our own picnic but did try their hot drinks and cake - very good) and there's loads of parking.
Something I also noticed is that they offer a staggering amount of activity days, courses and events, like hawking or hunting with eagles, junior animal keeper days. You can also book for schools, birthdays or special events.

We came on Saturday with our little boy and a friend with his little boy, we absolutely loved it such a wonderful farm lots of different animals and bird to see also great play areas for the kids. We loved the shows and the pat a pet, would definitely recommend fir a family day out. we've just booked our son's 7th birthday here he loved it so much thank you ☺️

My Daughter brought a 3 hour experience with Birds of Prey, for my Birthday. Absolutely Fabulous day. The Staff were all friendly and knowledgeable, our guide was Shona), but the real stars of the show were obviously the birds. A large variety from very small to huge, were all on view and were all placed on our gloved hands. I have been to places like this before, but have never found birds that were so at ease with people. You could bring them very close to you and see them in great detail, with no sense of threat or unease with the birds, (who seemed happy and content throughout). An excellent venue, well run and friendly
Lee Elton — Google review
Had a lovely afternoon out. The bird of prey display was absorbing, educational and entertaining. In the aviaries the birds looked to be well kept and there was plenty of information on the species. The kids loved the rabbit and guinea pig petting session. A tractor ride made a nice break. Once we'd seen everything there was a little obstacle course and play area, again the kids enjoyed this. The only thing I'd say negatively was the food available in the tea shop was pre packaged and of variable quality. OK for a snack but I'd probably eat somewhere else if going again. Overall well worth a visit.
Giles Roberts — Google review
Great selection of birds. Some stunning birds of prey, as for the rest of it, I wouldn’t rush back. Unorganised, scheduled flight display just didn’t happen, when I questioned it was told, it was cancelled due to lack of people and that animal handling would be on in place an hour later. Returned and all that was available was an owl flight. Whilst we enjoyed that, it was a little disappointing. The toilets were filthy, no hand wash, no towels, toilets didn’t flush, there were very few people so no reason why. No signs to direct you to the other animal areas and generally shabby.
Veronica Johnson — Google review
Went here for a 3hr experience my bf bought me for Xmas. Unfortunately the day we went it was a bit drizzly and rainy so seems the experience was cut short? We didn't get to fly any birds ourselves as they state in the website and didn't get to see the larger birds of prey fly (like the kites or eagles).
Did get to hold an American bald Eagle, 2 large owls and a small falcon.
I loved seeing all the different birds but I'd say being a large group means you end up waiting a while for turns.
Overall I loved being so close to these birds, there were lots to see from tiny cute owls to massive sea eagles!

Amazing afternoon at Herrings Green Activity!
Staff were absolutely lovely and made the experience grand. Wide array of birds allowing for great photography. The midday show was absolutely fantastic! Very informative and a lot of fun getting people involved. If you have kids it’s a perfect day out!
James Boult (Dodgey5000) — Google review
What a great day out. Lots of birds and farm animals to see. Play area for the kids & lots of picnic benches.
The bird displays were amazing & the little ones loved the tractor ride & feeding the goats.
Getting the opportunity to wear a glove and have a owl on you was definitely everyone's highlight.
The toilets were a bit dated (porta cabins in car park) and when we went the car parks seemed full so the chap told us to start a row down the middle! But this is only a small niggle & shouldn't put you off going!
Nice tea room selling cakes, sandwiches and ice cream.

Herrings Green Activity Farm and Bird of Prey Activity Centre is a delightful experience that made for a memorable Secret Santa Christmas gift brought for me by my daughters.
My gift included a walk with the Alpacas, an Owl experience and tea/coffee cake afterwards.
The passion and knowledge the staff have are second to none and share their love and enthusiasm adding to the overall enjoyment. Very friendly and welcoming. The chance to interact with majestic birds of prey was truly captivating. It's a perfect outing for nature enthusiasts and families alike.
Highly recommend wearing wellies, although that sounds obvious there were a few people with wet and muddy feet in what looked like new trainers 😮.
Parking slight issue due to the wet weather with the overflow car park being flooded. So decided to park on the main road. No fault to the centre as not much they can do about it.
Simone Mcpherson — Google review
I love this place. Always interactive and plenty of things to do so children can get closer to the animals. The bird displays are amazing! And the animals seem happy as they are all flown daily and get looked after.
However I do wonder how often the cages are cleaned. The last time I was there, the red macaw was being kept in a cage far too small for him. However I believe they were making him a much larger area. I sincerely hope this has been done already.
Overall though we visit this farm every few months as there is a HUGE amount of birds that are incredible. It's a great afternoon out for kids & adults.
Donna Joan — Google review
Best to go when good weather, lots of variety of birds, organised groups can experience holding them, interesting displays. Knowledgeable staff. Play area is a little tired, fine for under 8s, but you don't go there for the play area.

A great day out at Herrings Farm. Some amazing, majestic and awesome birds. The highlight was definitely the display and getting the chance to handle the owl.
Kids area was fun as was seeing the other farm animals. Kids enjoyed the goat feeding. Was a bit muddy and mushy but that was expected with the current climate.
The staff and bird handlers were so friendly and informative.
Will return for sure in summer time.

Had a really lovely time here with our group of four on the owl and eagle experience. Sarah was our host and was super knowledgeable about all of the birds as well as making sure we were comfortable when handling them. Highly recommend this experience for meeting these beautiful birds and having the privilege of flying them. The bird flying show was also excellent. Thank you!

Payed for a family falconry experience to find out when we got there that they have no disabled access nor do they accommodate for people in wheelchairs. there is no disabled toilet. The ground is muddy and soft and was unable to joining the activities and some of the poor and hilarious excuses they tried using simply outrageous and was told there’s no manager but I could talk to and have to email them instead reply the food quality in the restaurant is terrible no dietary selections and the presentation well… most of your children can do better

What a lovely place. From the interesting story of how it started, to the range of plants, how to grow your own, tour, and tasting session, it was good fun.( Lots better than I imagined). With a fun group too, it made it a memorable & highly positive experience.

Had a fantastic time on the ‘Cooking with chillies made simple’ workshop. The owners were very knowledgeable, open and friendly. There was plenty to do on the workshop and we had a lovely day out. All in all great experience and I learned a lot. They also sell chilli plants and sauces on site which is really handy, including their own home grown sauces from their own chilli harvest. I only wish I turned up sooner so I could relax in the café, not to worry as I’ll definitely be revisiting at some point.

Fantastic little gem of a place. Warmly welcomed by owners Shawn and Joanne. So knowledgeable and enthusiastic for their passion on Chilli's. I took my child who has special needs and they could not have been any more welcoming. Spent time to have conversation and gave a little education.
I would highly recommend a visit especially if you dare to taste the hot chilli's. They have a nice selection of chilli's to choose from.
Just advise that parking is small but don't be put off.
I'll definitely be visiting them again as they have won me over with their warm welcome and politeness.

Visited the Chilli Farm for afternoon tea and a tour of the chilli farm.
Overall it was a great experience.
Joanna who is the owner of the farm and our guide for the tour was really informative and has a real passion for chillies.
After a short talk about the various variety of chillies, we had a sampling session in the cafe of various chillies, chilli sauces and marmalades, starting from the mildest up to the hottest…the Carolina Reaper! There was plenty of milk on hand should you need it!
Afternoon tea was lovely, a variety of sandwiches all made with various chilli based sauces and marmalades.
Would certainly recommend for an afternoon out.

We made it our New Year resolution to review the best experience we had in 2023 - and it was this chilli tasting and tour at Edible Ornamentals we went to in November 2023! The owners' passion for chillis was infectious - the variety of chillis we learned about was enormous, and we were able to taste a wide array (5+ chillis tasted and at least 9 sauces)! An incredibly fun and unique experience that has now inspired us to start growing some of our own chilli plants :) - Matt & Roz

Loved it from beginning to end, deserves more than 5 stars ! Went on the chilli tasting tour for two. Shaun the owner gave us a very informative talk on how to grow chillies from seed, then we had a tour of the farm and picked our own chillies. After that we went into their shop, tried their huge range of sauces followed by chilli tasting, from mild to hottest in the world! After that we had some amazing food in the restaurant. Definitely going back.

Bear in mind that the cafes don’t offer a big variety of food, only cakes and 2 savoury quiche/tart (but not suitable for special dietary needs).

We visited an hour before closing and we were the only ones there. Lovely gardens. Different areas, with different themes. From cottage garden, to an orchard and more formal designs. We spent a while just sitting on a bench watching six red kites enjoying the late afternoon sun. Bliss.
Frances Orchard — Google review
Beautiful gardens, with loads of daffs and tulips out when I visited at Easter. I look forward to returning to see the sweet peas at the end of June. The food in the cafe was delicious and mid-price, and the shop has some lovely, unusual garden bits and bobs as well as the obligatory plants! It didn't take too long for a walk around the whole area, maybe an hour and a half or so, but there's plenty of areas for kids to run around in and some woody bits to hide in, so you could certainly take your time and enjoy an afternoon out. For me it's the perfect place to bring a book and enjoy the sunshine surrounded by colour. The info boards add a lovely touch, explaining some of the works that's been done and the history of the place.

Not sure it will hold the attention of kids. Came in February, which is out of season, but the snowdrops were beautiful. I bet it would be very beautiful when the spring and summer flowers are out. Little for kids, but it’s a formal garden, so… There are 2 coffee shops. The one inside the paywall has more choice, but the one by the shop is just tea, coffee and homemade cakes, which were delicious. £10pp was a little pricey at this time of year, but would still come back.
Phil Stevens — Google review
It's comparatively a small garden, well maintained. It's £8/- adult and children below 4 years go free. I wouldn't go again. The lack of variety and compact size of the garden is the main concern. Had a pot of tea, lemon and coffee cake from the Coffee Room. The tea was ok but the cake was dry and cold and the portion did not do justice to its price tag.

We're regular visitors to Easton Walled Gardens and always love our time there. The gardens are beautifully kept and no matter what the season, there is plenty of colour to be found in the flowers. Whilst it may only be 12 acres, it is the perfect place to spend a relaxed afternoon walking through the grounds and enjoying its peace and tranquility.
Just be aware, there are some areas that are slightly sloped, that might prove a small challenge to some people, but don't let this put you off, there are gentler slopes or other areas to walk around to make up for it.
There are well maintained toilets and two coffee shops that offer cakes and hot drinks plus a gift shop with lots of lovely things & very friendly staff.
The car park is free to all and there is disabled parking as well.
The site is open on select days throughout most of the year so you can visit whatever the season, which is great!
A lovely place to visit and one that you can't help returning to throughout the year!
Nelly C — Google review
If you need some peace and tranquillity then this is a definite "must see" to add to your list. There are two lovely little coffee shops and a very well stocked little shop where you will find the most endearing little gifts to choose from, as well as a little garden nursery in the The Courtyard.
You must read the information boards as you walk under the arched "porch" into the gardens. The history of this estate is fascinating.
As you walk out of the porch into the garden you are treated to the most beautiful flower show ..... the colour and the scent is so stunning and peaceful.
The gardens are really well manicured, and you will see little robotic lawnmowers doing their jobs of keeping the lawns trimmed.
You have little pockets of interest, so be sure to walk through the whole garden so as not to miss anything out. Do give yourself at least 2-3 hours to walk through it all.
And don't forget to pick up a homemade cake or two from the shop on your way out, a delicious end to a beautiful day.

Easton Walled Gardens is an absolute delight!! I was genuinely enchanted with the gardens.
In addition the courtyard has a very good selection of shops plus a visitor centre. Plus it has excellent toilet facilities.
Within the gardens there is a cafe which does really good coffees and teas plus food.
Definitely well worth visiting.

Loved this gem of a find. Very peaceful midweek stroll round. Lovely gardens, two lovely coffee shops and very interesting chat with lady in the gift shop who processes the honey from the bees there.
The historical place Burghley House is an Italian-influenced Tudor-era mansion in Capability Brown-designed gardens. It is open to the public in the summer and closed in winter. The grounds are landscaped by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown and host the annual Burghley Horse Trials.
Lush gardens with sculptures so that everywhere you look is something exciting. Space for kids to run around although they may need to be dissuaded from climbing the sculptures, some of which look like fun. The water gardens are the perfect place for a sunny day--bring a spare set of clothes and the kids can cool off in the spray. I went when the South Gardens were open, which had a lovely lakeside view and excellent views of the House. It's not cheap but if you plan to spend an afternoon there then you won't be disappointed.

From start to finish, this exceed all expectations. The house was well maintained, fresh cut flowers throughout, absolutely jaw dropping paintings and knowledgeable staff on hand.
The orangery served beautiful cake and tea which was taken in the garden which was full of seasonal blooms.
The sculpture park and garden of secrets were amazing. Lots of exploring and plenty of space for a picnic where clumps of wildlife areas were dotted around.
Just wow. Absolutely amazing

Excellent visitor experience. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The environment is immaculate and beautifully presented. Loved the gardens, sculptures and enjoyed a coffee from the garden cafe when resting. Also great to see several younger school party visitors engaged by the house tour guides and eagerly asking questions.

Burghley House and gardens are beautiful! We had a really nice day out here over the bank holiday weekend, and we will be returning! So much to see, and so many areas of the grounds to explore it is a great place for the entire family. The cafe is also excellent, and we enjoyed our lunch here, however next time we visit, we will probably bring a picnic because there are so many beautiful places to sit and enjoy the views.

I was most impressed with this house. There is so much to see there and I would certainly recommend that the free audio guide is used whilst touring the house. The Room Stewards are happy to answer any questions that you may have
The gardens are also interesting to explore too. The Surprise Garden offers some quite interesting features
I also walked around the parkland too and from there I saw some good views of the house.
The guide book is well worth buying although a leaflet is given upon admission that shows the highlights of each room.
There is a tremendous number of paintings to see and I bought another booklet that provides details of these paintings
I would certainly consider a repeat visit since there is so much to look at.

What a stunning place. The house and the gardens are marvelous, the abundance of art and paintings in the house, well it is hard to call it a house, it has more the feeling if a grand castle, is amazing. The Park and gardens are really beautiful, the water features are a magnet for kids during warm days. And they are more than welcome to have a splash. Definitely worth a visit!!! Stunning!

The place is excellent. It is of such a high quality with an incredible attention to details. We loved everything. The art in the park is phenomenal and very well looked after. The grounds look beautiful and are perfectly kept.
The playground is so creative, it looks magical. Kids loved it. There is an area for smaller kids which helps, as the big playground is more for kids age 6 and above. The house from the outside looks incredibly impressive. You can also see deer from the grounds, which is amazing. The secret garden is also magical, full of surprises and very fun. We loved it.

Impressive mansion in vast grounds, free entry for Historic House Members. Excellent house tour with knowledgeable room guides, great water garden, sculpture trail and walk around the grounds. We tried the garden cafe which has a small menu and not much for my gluten free wife. We have been told there is a better gf menu in The Orangery! Big car park but can also be reached by bus or bike from Peterborough.

The house was original and well worth the visit. I found it very artistic but I was really there for the garden and plants. The garden feels like a work in progress but we'll worth the visit. Would really like more sign posts for directors as it's quite a large venue.

Lovely gardens very popular. Upgraded to include house and both valid for a year. Good garden map to explain what you see. Deer park free with cafe and toilets near the Garden entrance. All very well laid out ans staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Wonderful Red Devil parachute display and wonderful fireworks at the end.

Wonderful guided tour run during the summer holidays, which give early access to the house before it opens to the wider public, and with a child friendly and engaged tour guide. Ticket prices also include the gardens and play area and reentry to the house. Fantastic value at £14, and kept the family busy for most of a day. The content and quality of the house is hugely impressive, too. Best National Trust type offering in the area. The kids loved the water fountains in the garden too and left soaked and happy

Had a lovely day out, can easily spend the whole day here, loads of space for kids to run around and play, there was a halloween trail this weekend, all over the sculpture garden, which included the new huge play area ( rope bridges etc ) we then went to the garden of sueprises, which is stunning. The house itself is full of art work, and although the food and drink is hideously overpriced, it is tasty... bought mainly picnic stuff so we didn't need too much. We then had a lovely walk around the grounds. Its free to park and walk around the grounds, so if you did that and bought a picnic, it would be a good, cheap day out.
The heritage-preserved Nene Valley Railway (Wansford Station) runs alongside the River Nene in eastern England from Peterborough to Yarwell. The 7.5-mile railway is operated by steam locomotives and offers a unique visitor experience.
Fantastic day out for the whole family. We bought a Family Rover ticket for £55, which covers 2 adults, and 3 children. Various stops to hop off and have a walk, a picnic, or just admire the scenery. We chose to get off at Peterborough, and had a lovely afternoon at the cathedral, and shopping (which pleased my 16yo with Christmas money burning a hole in her pocket!). The buffet car sells teas, coffees, hot chocolate, and various snacks at reasonable prices. Staff are really knowlegeable about the trains, and goings-on, and are really friendly.
Would definitely recommend.

Nene Valley Railway is a great day out there is lots to do and great value, in fact you can walk round the station and yard totally free of charge. Staff are very friendly and full of information regarding the railway, Train rides are very reasonable price wise. There is a great cafe and gift shop, also for train collectors there is a small shop selling everything from toy trains to railway signs plus charity shop. I took my kids there with no money in my pocket and we had a great time.

Visited Nene Valley Railway back in April while the Sir Nigel Gresley was on tour there. The station is very picturesque with a lovely cafe situated inside.
We were lucky to get a guided tour of the workshop and steam sheds which was fascinating with a lot of history behind every locomotive stored there.
There were a lot of families and enthusiasts visiting and the station was busy but never felt crowded. Really enjoyed the day and will be looking forward to visiting again.

We are on holiday and the four of us went on the train yesterday the whole experience was amazing. There was so many different engines and trucks to look at , plenty of volunteers with years of knowledge to answer your questions .
There is a lovely cafe at the station.
There is also a bar on the train so you can have a cold or hot drink.
We saw school children enjoying the day, and asking their teachers lot's of interesting questions .
All the volunteers were very friendly and helpful 🙂

Incredible experience, my train mad son loved the steam engine! Unfortunately the steam engine had a fault so we have to wait 1hour+ to go to the next stop which by then was too late to go to other stops too. The replaced the steam engine with diesel which wasn't as exciting as steam but things happen. Really friendly staff too.

Nene Valley Railway 🚂🚃🚃. Children loved the Christmas Special, Santa, Elves, etc.
The Santa Special Steam Train Journey was a great experience, with the afternoon tea on board. Lots of steam filling the air.
Most off this set up is reliant on volunteers, who keep this place alive, so although the tickets may sound a lot, the funds go towards the great expense of running the railway and restoration of everything from trains to museum artifacts.

My son & I had a lovely time on the 92 Squadron steam train, in comfort of 1st class seating. We even had the pleasure of listening to some people singing Christmas Carol's while on the train. Which lasted 75 minutes travelling along the beautiful Nene Valley, through picturesque landscape of water Meadows, arable farmland & country park.

A family afternoon treat with fish & chips on the train. Great service from all staff, who were friendly, helpful & genuinely happy to be there. Fish & chips were great too. Totally recommend this especially to families. Parking was a little tricky though so allow for time to park before you get on the train. Shops also worth a look, charity shop has good quality things in.

Firstly I’d like to say, every staff/volunteer makes you feel number 1 there. 3 of us had the stone baked pizza & each of us said it was great & just the right size. The guy serving in the cafe was very polite & cleaned our table too. I’d recommend that place even if you don’t take a train ride.
I was surprised that this live wasn’t packed for tourists on a bank holiday Monday (maybe they all did the morning train, we did the last steam train). It was a beautiful 1959 polish steam engine. There seems to be a lovely change over every so often of steam engines.
This place is also dog friendly.
Thank you to everyone there. Recommend 100% & hopefully will return.
Please support this steam line.

What a great experience! Steam engine ride for two hours with a fish and chip dinner served on board can't be bad. All the "staff" are unpaid volunteers. The time on the train is 2 hours. If you want a drink from the train bar go early to beat the queue. After that just sit back and enjoy. Very relaxed, happy to let you have pictures in the engine etc. Highly recommended.

We went on Thomas weekend. Recommend the Robert ticket if you like traveling on trains as you can go on the trains as many times as you like and get on and off on the track to Peterborough. The Carrot Hunt was really good for the children and they loved to have their photo taken with the Easter Bunny. Highly recommend a visit. Lots of engines to look at and play area for children including a gift shop and cafe on the platform and on the trains buffet cart. The staff were very friendly and interacted well with the children making it a fun day. .

Nice location but expensive if you buy food here. Plenty of space to bring a picnic which we will do next time. Lots of BBQ stations so bring your own charcoal and enjoy
Bit of a sewer smell wafting around periodically which made it feel a bit dirty. Car park pay on exit works well and should be a similar system everywhere.
Will probably return again next summer

Excellent location near Nene Park. Big site but immaculate. Ideal for "country" walks around Nene Park and Lake, took us about an hour to walk all the way around the lake
We also cycled alongside the railway line on cycle paths towards Peterborough and then back along the side of the rowing and canoe course, past the golf course and through the wooded section of Nene Park -easy flat route.
On an afternoon we walked to the cuckoo pub along a wooded path and through the industrial estate - about 30/40 min walk. Dog friendly pub and served good beers.
Large CAMC site with plenty to do. Would visit again.

We have been coming here for years. My eldest is 18 this year and i have been bringing him since he was a few months old. I have since had 2 other boys who absolutely love coming here they are 8 &11. How you have revamped each area over the last few years is stunning. We very often meet friends and family here in the holidays as there is plenty to do for everyone and the kids have so much fun and have so much space to run around in. The newest part nearest the lake i have to say is my sons favourite and mine at the moment. Well done to everyone involved in looking after the park 💙❤️

The park in Peterborough is truly marvelous and breathtaking. The expansive lake adds to its stunning beauty, making it one of the largest parks in the area. What's even better is that the entrance is free, and the park offers a lengthy and picturesque space for walking and hiking. Conveniently, there's parking available on-site, along with restroom facilities. The presence of a cafe adds to the overall convenience, and I was delighted to discover private boat rides available on the lake. The enchanting nature of the park captivated me, creating a truly mesmerizing and unforgettable atmosphere.

This is one of the most beautiful places to spend a day out in nature.
There is a special area designed for barbecue, playground for kids with sand, water and green grass. There is also a little train that you can ride from one side to another of the park.
Another good thing is that you can visit and stay with your own motor home- caravan or tent.
I do recommend to hire one of the equipments like boat, swan or kaiac and saile around the lake.
Kids were very happy all day!

Maybe visiting after heavy rain wasn't the best idea as most of the footpaths around the lakes were flooded, as was the large play area but still some nice walks to be had. Well stocked visitor centre with some local gifts. Parking is relatively cheap as well. Very busy in the park though! I get the impression Peterborough doesn't have many other public spaces like this so everyone goes here!?

Went to winter festival was a tad disappointed only 2 small fairground attractions when advertised as being a Victorian fair ? The light trail was nice especially for little ones for bigger people could have been a bit more extravagant although thumbs up for the lovely sustainable willow animals throughout. Some of them very big..at the end of the trail there was a fairy enactment by 6 actor/ singers. Very sweet for the children. At this end there is a firepit where you can toast marshmallows bur at £4 for 1 on a stick was ridiculous, my advice is take you own if you want toasted mallows. Overall a nice chrismassy feel about it..enjoy the baikeys hot chocolate 🍫

Managed to catch the cafe for a hot chocolate before it closed, very pleasant walk, would love a place like this near me.

We're very lucky to have this on our doorstep, it's a lovely place to walk whatever the season. The only negative is when people choose to ignore the park rules and allow their dogs to be off their leads (we visited at the time when the park was trialling a scheme where dogs had to be on leads at all times but sadly a few people seemed to think that they were exempt from this!). As much as we love dogs, it can be extremely intimidating when a strange dog runs up to you and starts snarling and growling and doesn't pay any heed to its owner's calls. Furthermore, if a dog can be that disobedient, then what's to stop it from harming wildlife??
Also another note of warning, there are quite a few cyclists who use the park, so keep an eye (or ear!) out for them to avoid any potential accidents.
Aside from that, it's a great place for a walk, enjoying the beautiful natural landscape, with the chance to spot wildlife and if you fancy a hot drink or something to eat, there are a couple of onsite cafes/restaurant that offer a variety of sandwiches and cakes. There are a couple of play parks too, if you have young kids who need to expend a bit of energy!
We also got to see the new Willow Bridge that has replaced the old pontoon bridge and it looks amazing!
There are onsite toilets and a gift shop and a car park too (car parking charges apply).

Ferry Meadows Country Park, Ham Ln, Peterborough PE2 5UU, United Kingdom
Houghton Mill & Waterclose Meadows is a beautiful tourist attraction owned by the National Trust. The mill, mostly constructed from wood, sits in picturesque surroundings with an artificially filled mill pond. Visitors can enjoy watching the mill in operation and learning about its fascinating history with tours guided by knowledgeable staff and volunteers. The site has been home to a mill since 974 AD, and its owners have changed over time.
A stunning Mill set in beautiful surroundings. Plenty to see and I would definitely suggest going on a day when the mill is running to really get a full flavour of its use and history. Also worth checking out the attached campsite as the location is perfect.

Morning fog, sunny afternoon. Thanks for the informative tour by the kind volunteers, Ms Faith and his friends. Also a good place to encounter cormorant.

We were lucky enough to book a tour of Houghton Mill. Our volunteer guide, Linda, spent an hour taking our small group around the inside of the mill, detailing its thousand-year history.
Whilst on the tour, we were able to visit three of the four floors of the mill, the top floor is currently closed to the public for safety measures and look at some of the original 18th century machinery, learning about how wheat was transported across the building, ground, bagged, and even how a previous owner created a form of air-conditioning.
Please be aware that the waterwheel is not always running, however this does not detract from this beautiful building and its long and interesting history.
There is a carpark on site as well as a gift shop/cafe, with benches along the river to sit outside.

Didn't go into the Mill but had a walk around the grounds and stopped off in the little coffee shop. The Mill gives some nice photo opportunities from all sides, and the walk along the Ouse is very pleasant and not too strenuous. Usual NT prices, £7 for the Mill and expensive in the coffee shop.

There’s a little cafe onsite that opens at 10am and some toilet facilities.
It does get busy later in the day, so if you can go early!
There is also a campsite connected to the mill if you like sleeping with the stars.

Nice little mill dated at least from the 900s. Five stars for the enthusiasm of the staff and the clean well-maintained toilet. Nice tea room in the gardens surrounded by long nature paths to explore and wonderful watersports choices for a fun relaxing day!

A lovely place to visit at any time of the year. It can get very busy and the car park isn’t huge so best to go early. Great little coffee shop for after having a walk. We didn’t go into the mill but looked good from outside. £3 parking.

Didn't actually make it around the Mill itself but did a lovely walk following the River Great Ouse. Stunning countryside. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon walking the dog in the sunshine. Finished off with a coffee and cake from the National Trust cafe

The Cathedral of Saint Peter, Saint Paul and Saint Andrew in Peterborough is a beautiful Norman structure that is still standing. The building originated from the mid-7th century as a monastery, but much of its present-day architecture dates from the 12th century. The cathedral's jaw-dropping western facade is characterized by three massive arches that are unique to the Gothic period.
A beautiful cathedral which encourages people to enjoy the space. Great that contributions rather than an entrance fee are given, allowing everyone to be able to enjoy it. Good information all around.
Staff/volunteers are welcoming and helpful.

Wonderful tower tour with Brian and Maureen. Both so knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. This cathedral really is so beautiful and as a non local I had no idea just how beautiful it was. Definitely recommend the tour if you're not sacred if heights or small spaces!!

I recently visited the Peterborough Cathedral last Wednesday and am delighted to give it a five-star rating. This magnificent church, accessible to the public, left me in awe. Its origins as a monastic community dating back to 654 AD, its status as one of the most famous medieval abbeys in the country, its role as the final resting place for two queens, and its connection to the Civil War make it a truly great site. The Cathedral welcomes visitors from Monday to Saturday, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, and Sundays from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm.
What struck me the most was the abundance of natural light inside the church, creating a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere. It's a photographer's dream, as the lighting is simply marvellous. During quieter moments, one can truly appreciate the cathedral's rich history. Although I regret not being able to explore the upstairs tour due to my busy schedule, I hope to have the opportunity to do so in the future. Entry is by donation, and it's wheelchair accessible in the main church area.

Steeped in centuries of history and architectural grandeur, Peterborough Cathedral stands as a timeless beacon of tranquility and serenity amidst the bustling cityscape. From its majestic facade to the hushed interiors, every corner of this sacred edifice exudes an aura of peace and calm, inviting visitors to pause, reflect, and immerse themselves in its timeless beauty.
As one approaches the cathedral, its imposing silhouette commands attention, towering over the surrounding landscape with an air of quiet dignity. Yet, upon stepping inside, one is enveloped in a sense of profound stillness, where the cares of the world seem to fade away in the presence of such sacred majesty.
The cathedral's interior is a study in sublime simplicity, with soaring arches and delicate stonework that speak to the skill and craftsmanship of generations past. Bathed in the soft glow of filtered sunlight, the nave beckons with its spaciousness, offering a sanctuary for quiet contemplation and introspection.
Throughout the cathedral, the atmosphere remains hushed and reverent, punctuated only by the occasional whisper of footsteps or the distant echo of a choir's song. Here, amidst the ancient walls and weathered stone, visitors find solace in the stillness, finding respite from the noise and chaos of the outside world.
For those seeking a moment of quiet reflection, the cathedral's cloisters provide a peaceful retreat, where one can wander in solitude amidst the tranquil beauty of the surrounding gardens. Here, amidst the fragrant blooms and gently swaying trees, the mind finds rest and the spirit finds renewal.
In conclusion, Peterborough Cathedral stands as a timeless testament to the power of quietude and contemplation. Within its hallowed halls, amidst the whispers of centuries past, visitors find a sanctuary of peace and calm, inviting them to pause, reflect, and find solace in the beauty of the divine.

Stunning architecture - especially for a building that has its origins 900 yrs ago. Catherine of Aragon, Henry VIII's first wife, and Mary Queen of Scots are buried here. Well worth seeing.

First time to Peterborough and visited the Cathedral - the guide we spoke to was incredibly helpful and so passionate about sharing the stories and history with us, she also recommended other places to visit nearby. Well worth a visit! Reminded me of York Minster.

I did the architectural tour of the cathedral. If this interests you then I highly recommend it. Fantastic guides that had me hanging on their every word. The morning tour took in the ground floor and outside areas, followed by lunch in Becketts tearooms. Then the afternoon spent in the upper levels and roof. I absolutely loved seeing the bones of the building.

Absolutely breath taking place of history and beauty! Always love coming here to visit, its like walking into the history of the past, travel back in time!
Lots to look at, cemetery at rear end, I don't need to honestly say much as the building speaks for itself, absolutely stunning. Always captivating!
EDIT - if you're a fan of the deep blue sea history then come to the cathedral in July 2024, they are hosting a event in relation to the sea 🌊 🦈 looks like its going to be a fantastic one so dont miss out!

My son was a chorister here for 6 years. When people hear of Peterborough they don’t think of a cathedral.
This is a simply stunning building. It’s one of the Fens crown Jewell’s. It’s an a amazing building but it’s a place of worship. I would recommend, whatever your faith or conviction, to attend choral evensong. That’s a real experience in an incredible building

Coming from Australia on a motorbike tour of UK. I had heard from locals in London that Peterborough was worth visiting.. They were correct. It has been a lovely experience. Your cathedral is breathtaking. The doorman - Philip was such a wealth of knowledge. This history he talked about of this amazing cathedral was very memorable.. It made our experience and such a real pleasure and we will pass on it’s a place to visit to your town. Thank you

Very nice cathedral and surrounding buildings. Pity it closes so early, 5pm.
You need to park your car far away. This gives you a plus too. The old part of Peterborough has some nice photogenic buildings. So take your time wandering around.
I didn't go inside and the walk and shooting photos took me 2 hours.

Magnificent Cathedral in the centre of Peterborough. A truly impressive Cathedral with significant history, with; The Hedda Stone, Katherine of Aragon's tomb, Mary Queen of Scots original burial place and a memorial to Edith Cavell.
Originally an Abbey it was saved by the Abbot from ruin by Henry VIII.
It is free to enter but a donation is welcome and well deserved.

Gorgeous cathedral, the celling looks stunning with all the paintings and sculptures well preserved. You can visit the ground floor yourself when it is open, and the tour is organised (on Wednesdays) to the Tower with the ability to climb upstairs to see the upper floors.
Absolutely stunning place and a must-see if you are visiting Peterborough.

This is an absolute must if you visit Peterborough, no excuses. We went on the upper floor and roof tour, frightening and exciting all in one, unreal views of the inside and outside areas, great tour guides filled with expert knowledge. We then went on the ground floor tour, again a wonderful tour guide with expert knowledge. Not expensive either for such a magnificent time.

Wonderful church, amazing historic building.
Over the centuries the building has been affected by various people (local, national) dignitaries. Local, national governments and of cause the monarchy. National, international events ( civil, world wars).

Peterborough Cathedral is a mesmerizing example of Romanesque and Gothic architecture, with its imposing facade and intricate interior. The striking West Front features an array of medieval sculptures, while the vast nave and colorful stained glass windows provide a sense of awe-inspiring grandeur. The beautifully preserved medieval wooden ceiling is a sight to behold, and the intricate fan vaulting in the eastern transept is a testament to the cathedral's impressive craftsmanship. History enthusiasts will appreciate the connection to Katharine of Aragon, whose tomb lies within the cathedral. Whether you're drawn to its architectural splendor, spiritual significance, or rich historical heritage, a visit to Peterborough Cathedral is a captivating experience that leaves a lasting impression.

A real gem for Peterborough. So much amazing history in this Cathedral, including the burial of two Queens (one now moved to London). It’s amazing to be able to visit the resting place of Katherine of Aragon, one of Henry the VIII’s wives, a huge part of English history.
Make sure you take a walk around the outside too, there are remains of the original abbey still to be seen.

A remarkable cathedral which is free to enter and features stunning historical architecture.
It has beautiful stained glass windows and the entire cathedral is warm inside thanks to the large radiators located throughout the building that heat it up.

The Ayscoughfee Hall Museum and Gardens is a very lovely place to visit. The Museum has many interesting objects including a mummified cat and a Victorian wedding dress. There is also information on the town's agricultural history. The gardens are well kept and there is also a playground for the children.
Finally the museum open again great place go know a little bit more from Spalding history.

I arrived to see the museum but never made it as presently surprised by a big event outside in the lovely gardens. Bouncy castles fates games food just a multitude of events taking place. Couldn't even get my child off the bouncy castle which was free to go on and stewards keeping an eye on everything. I can't say what was going on but we only came to see the museum but obviously on a special event day. Thoroughly enjoyed.. but next trip I want to get past the gardens.

Very upsetting seeing distressed birds with feathers missing. Reported it but apparently a vet has seen them and claimed they were ok! Really? The only recommendation was to take their eggs away to stop further overcrowding. I can’t go there again, think it’s a sorry state that the council aren’t doing anything about 😔

My husband and I didn't go into the big house this time round,
Always very busy, lovely suroundings,
Food good in the cafe,
Shame the toilets weren't working in the cafe,
the main toilets outside were needing a bit of a clean, (well the ladies)
the disabled toilet was locked.
I walk with crutches and it was difficult to go to the regular ladies' toilets,
I did ask at the cafe if they had a key for the disabled toilet but they didn't seem to know where that would be.
It won't stop us from going back though.

Great place to visit and spend couple of hours. The Museum is great, theres a cafe too where you have breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. There is a playground, tennis court and also toilets. The whole site is wheelchair accessible.
Springfields Outlet Shopping & Leisure is a picturesque village-style shopping center that offers numerous high-street brands at discounted prices, making it an attractive destination for bargain hunters. In addition to shopping, visitors can also enjoy dining options such as coffee shops and restaurants on the premises. The complex has well-maintained gardens, both indoor and outdoor toilet facilities, and even a fun park for children.
Had heard of Springfields but have never been in. Easy to navigate to, tried to find a disabled parking bay but as the place was so busy I couldn’t find one. Really cheap car parking charge as well. Lots of discount stores so will definitely be returning for birthdays/Christmas shopping. Ladies toilets were clean but the one hand dryer wasn’t working. All in all I will recommend this outlet to others.

Was very busy but well worth it. Has decent amount of shops, couple coffee shops, only one restaurant on site to eat. Has Travelodge on site where we stayed, so if you are shopped out you can stay there for £30 a night.
So overall good experience. We went to M&S and Next and found so many discounts that we ended up buying loads of stuff 😁
And parking there is only £2 overnight.

Depending on the time of year, the gardens here are well worth a visit. This review is based on a visit during the last week of April with the tulips in full bloom! It was absolutely stunning and an absolute joy to walk around. The outlet itself has a very good selection of shops and a new updated Skechers store which is excellent! **Make sure you join the Springfield VIP and get 10% off in that store, amongst others**
But as my photos show this time of year its 100% worth a visit for the gardens alone... Top job 👍 highly recommended.
Dave London — Google review
Only giving this 3 stars as a shopping outlet, very limited shops all very pricey. The food drink establishments are extortionate in price. Disabled parking is v poor considering most visitors were elderly on my visit.
The positive was the gardens and walks with well kept borders and fountains are fabulous. Take a picnic and sit in gardens. Don't bother with shops 😊
Really not worth a visit won't be going back

I have been visiting and observing the venue for past 13 years, it changed and evolved. From my perspective for good. Lots of room for everyone, shops, flowers and so on...
Good place to get your youngest ones for a walk but not only, there are few activities addressed just for them. I hope no one would say they regret visiting Springfields.

Lots of brands in one place. Good facilities. We had tea and cake in the restaurant very nice but a bit on the pricey side. As it was raining we didn't walk round the gardens. Which we have done in the past at this time of year to see the beautiful daffodils narcissus and tulips.

Later night opening hours for Christmas and the winter lights trail was fabulous. Lots of choice of shops, free parking for the event and all so beautifully decorated for Christmas.

I'm a shopperholic and I love my designer outlets!
This one, however, is probably one of the worst, being the smallest one I've ever visited with very little interesting shops for my personal experience.
One of the restaurants on site (can't remember name) did really good cake but they aren't cheap prices. Beautiful little venue though.
As I say shops aren't to my taste and we spent less than an hour here. Can't believe you have to pay for parking too, don't get this at many of the outlets across the country.
More than likely won't return

Words can't describe how amazing my experience with North London skydiving was yesterday.
My instructor, Kev Dynan, was amazing and kept me calm from start to finish. He made the whole experience one to remember. And also a shout out to our camera man, Alex Turner, was captioning the BEST photos.
And a BIG thank you to the rest of the skydiving team for such a great experience. I would highly recommend using North London skydiving centre and would definitely love to do another jump in the future.

Wow, what an incredible experience! Everything was amazing from start to finish, the staff and instructors are so friendly and helpful! The skydive itself was such an unforgettable experience, words can't describe it!
A big thank you to Gary Small, the instructor I was paired with. He is such a lovely man and was so kind and calming. He explained everything that was going on, from the moment we met before we even got on the plane to the time we landed. He made me feel so at ease and in such safe hands.
I highly recommend to anyone that is thinking about going here and doing a skydive, a big thank you from myself and my dad!

If for any second you have ever thought about doing this, book it today!! You won't regret it. The instructors are brilliant, especially Gary ( the legend!) They give you easy instructions to follow so all you have to do is relax, take in the view's and enjoy. The adrenaline rush as you leave the plane is something else, the free fall is exhilarating, and then once parachute deployed its so peaceful and quiet while you float back down to the ground. A absolutely fantastic day which i will never forget!

Location: got loads of amenities and a pretty well equipped canteen, a place for people to watch and plenty of parking. Make sure your car isn’t too low to the ground though cos there’s a fun dirt track to go through on the way there!
Staff: so friendly, helpful and most importantly calm. The group I went in was a mix of excited and very nervous jumpers - each one of us were handled effortlessly with experienced jumpers! Also had a right laugh with them and even a quick little cuddle with their beautiful lil doggo Cotton! Would bring my dog the next time also!
The experience: it’s a ten out of ten in itself! Training was quick, everyone was ready to make themselves available for our needs and my cameraman took directions quickly for all the shots I wanted! I felt confident whilst jumping and got to take control of the sky dive for a bit - literally felt like flying!
Would I do it again? Hell yes!
The only thing I will feedback on is to have their back up generator checked on a monthly basis as we had to wait a while due to the fuel pump getting the electric cut off - but this just gave us more time to pose for pics in our jump suits!
Got a certificate at the end which is just teasing me to go again!! 100% recommend!

I would 100% recommend North London Skydiving!
The training before the jump is spot on. It is brief enough to keep you entertained and long enough to cover over all the safety requirements and expectations to keep you safe.
My instructor, Gary Small, was brilliant. He helped keep me relaxed from the moment I put the jumpsuit on right until we landed on the ground with his friendly conversation and reassurance throughout.
My camera person, Alex Turner, was also fantastic. He joined in on the conversation and kept me calm. The photographs and video footage are well worth the money and I would highly recommend getting the full package, especially if it is your first time jumping.
The canteen has plenty of drinks and snacks to keep you topped up throughout the day.

The team at North London Skydiving Centre went above and beyond with their support. Despite being unable to jump because I slightly exceeded the weight limit, they were incredibly proactive in helping me shed a few pounds. Although I managed to lose some weight, I still fell short of the cutoff. Their understanding and encouragement during the rescheduling process made it easier for me to come to terms with it, allowing me to cheer on my fiancé during her jump without any hint of envy. Despite not being able to take the leap myself, I still found ways to relish the experience and get ready for my rescheduled jump.

From the moment we got there to landing with Chris strapped to my back was an easy, relaxed and exciting experience.
Had a video session first, then a safety brief, which was very easy to understand and 3 simple rules, legs under plane, head back, and hold straps until tapped, other than that, you do nothing but jump out of a plane at 10,000 feet.
I will 100% go back and get my partner to jump with me, but next time go to 15,000 ft,
Chris was with me and was super calm and a joy to be with, while coming down to earth, we had a nice talk while my adrenaline was going around my body, which probably made me not ever coherent but it was so quiet once the canopy opened.
Before we jumped there was a delay due to low cloud, but this was due to safety, then we jumped at the perfect time! Which overall made me feel safe and in good hands from the pilot (who makes the plane look like a go kart with its manoeuvrability) to the receptionist and the jumpers them self.

My first experience, although I didn't jump was still enjoyable. The guys at the centre are so friendly and welcoming.
My second experience was equally as warm. My instructor was Glen & camera man, Matt. Both awesome guys that made me feel confident and comfortable with my skydive. They are all extremely professional with a lovely warmth about them.
Glen was brilliant at keeping me informed and made sure to check in with me. Matt, a super cool camera man was comforting and captured the amazing moments that followed. Thank you to all the staff at North London Skydiving centre. I would highly recommend these wonderful people.

They have amazing offers on Videos/Pictures etc that I definitely was happy with the option of both.
My instructor Gary was superb, very helpful, supportive and he massively helped me calm down as I was very nervous to jump, I am very grateful to have had him as my instructor.
Also wanted to thank the cameramen on my jump, his name is Matthew, he took an amazing video and pictures... they are a great memory to have.
I highly recommend this Skydiving Centre to everyone, they want you to enjoy your skydive whilst also being safe... definitely go and experience Skydiving here as you won't regret it.

Both my son and I have jumped with North London Skydiving. I was so impressed with the staff and my son's experience, that I booked myself in. I have always been afraid of flying and heights, but my instructor was amazing from the start and made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. I bought the video and pictures package and was not disappointed with the footage - they were well worth the money, especially as it was my first jump. I stayed close to the airfield, the night before, and got there early to queue, which meant there was not a lot of waiting around. I would be happy to jump with them again and would recommend the experience to anyone looking for a thrill.

Woodside Wildlife Park is a local animal park that offers hands-on wildlife encounters, demonstrations, feedings and a tea room. The park boasts of many events throughout the day including shows with exotic animals. Visitors can explore a large conservatory which houses alligators, tigers, birds and more. Additionally, there is an outdoor play area for children to enjoy. Despite its unassuming exterior, the park is full of fascinating animals such as wolves and offers visitors great value for their money.
It doesn't promise much from the outside but it's surprisingly full of interesting animals and there's an awful lot to see. The wolves are fantastic! The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and obviously caring. Nice little gift shop, loads of picnic opportunities and a great little café. Good value for money.

It's a perfect place for families to spend quality time together, fostering a love for wildlife and nature. The friendly staff enhances the overall positive atmosphere, making it a memorable and enjoyable outing for everyone.

We decided to visit Woodside on Saturday 6th April and are so glad we did. The park is fantastic with great size enclosures for all the animals, the diversity of species is brilliant we particularly loved the Wolves and listening to them howling. The indoor tropical house was my favourite I could have sat in there all day with the butterflies flying around freely. The staff were all very friendly and happy to answer any of our questions. Overall a fantastic day out and we will definitely be returning.

I want to start by saying that the staff where lovely. Had a drink and something small to eat in the cafe and that was really nice and priced well.
However...
On arrival it wasn't too clear where to go which was the same throughout the full park. It wasn't signed very well and alot of time I wasn't sure if I was able to enter the area or not.
Some enclosures -mainly the penguins- were really dirty. If one went into the water it couldn't be seen.
Another issue with some enclosures where that they seemed quite small for the animals they where housing.
It was nice to see all the animals up close and was a nice day.

Visited here as a family of 4 was about £50 for a family ticket (2 adults & 2 children), parking was fine and wasn't any long queues to get in. The place isn't huge but the animals are cool and they have a good attractions. The only animals we didn't see where the white wolf's whom were hiding the whole time! The indoor tropical forest was cool massive butterfly's and we found a talking bird that asked what I was doing and said WOW! The cafe and shop were nice and there are toilets and baby changing facilities. They have shows on although we didn't do that, we did do the walkthrough the Lemar inclosure where you can get up close and personal with then jumping around. All in all really cool place, kids loved it well worth a summers day out.

I visited here to do the Sloth experience and it was amazing! The staff are very friendly and the keeper doing the sloth experience was very knowledgeable, funny and friendly. I had a walk around the whole of the zoo after the experience ended and was not disappointed with my visit. It was a fantastic day put woth family and my child really enjoyed seeing all the animals they have there.

Small but well worth the money. We found it be accident on the way to Gunby and weren’t sure what to expect. Loads of animals and gorgeous to see them so up close in many cases. Highly recommend.

Been here many times, came again yesterday and aside from the on off awful weather which didn't dampen our spirits, the day at Woodside Wildlife Park was lovely. The kids thoroughly enjoyed it and it was really nice to see some of the new exhibits one of which is the new spider monkey one! It also looks like there's more work continuing with more opening later in the year. Well worth a visit and it's not very far from Lincoln.

A lovely little zoo...which can be explored within good time...leaving time to relax for the rest of the day!! They have parking, toilets and a cafe...the barn show was good too....quite small so not much else to say....its not a whole day out but its still worth going to at least once.

Spent 3 and a half hours here. Lots of fun, lovely animals, food was reasonably good although a little expensive. Gift shop was way too expensive. I didn't go in, but my partner did and walked out again after seeing the prices of the soft toys.
It's probably better to make less profit from more items sold to more people than no profit of expensive items that nobody will buy.
Anyway, 3 and half hours works out to be a fiver an hour. Cheap entertainment.
Since we visited last, lots of improvements have been made and although the price has increased, we felt it was still good value for money. A bit cheaper if tickets purchased online.

Loved it here, great place to spend all day. Lots of different animals to see, regular informative talks about the animals, staff are very helpful and will answer any questions. The penguin area is amazing, you can get really close 🐧
Play area outside next to a picnic area so you can take your own food if you want to. There is also a tea room which sells Jacket Potatoes, toasties and cakes etc 😀There’s also a sand pit play area near the indoor cafe so the kids can play in there while you enjoy a coffee etc…..
Gift shop isn’t too expensive either 😊
Definitely recommended, will be coming back. Thanks for a lovely day! 🐅

A great family day out highly recommended. We loved all the animals and it’s great to see them kept so well in such large enclosures. Our favourite was the wolves, the tiger and the penguins.
We ate in the restaurant the food was really tasty we had cheese and ham toastie and tuna melt with almond slice, it was reasonably priced and great quality. Our little boy loved the sand pit and park as well as the animals.

Not bad for a couple of hours. Quite small but well kept and good range of animals for the size of the zoo
The animals all looked well, and cared for, staff 100%, friendly and very knowledgeable.
Easy to get around with a pram and plenty of parking. Nice cafe too

Lots of animals to visit, clean environment.
Excellent talks from the keepers throughout the day at different times, I watched the penguin feeding and talk and the keeper was very knowledgeable and engaging. I really liked that you could go into some of the exhibits such as the lemurs where they are roaming around you, and the rainforest area with the birds!
Some of the enclosures looked a bit bare and small for the animals and it is not easily accessible to visit without a car, I took the bus and it is a half hour walk from the closest bus stop with no footpath down the roads.
The price for a ticket isn't bad, particularly considering you can stay for the full day, however I would say that a few hours is plenty of time to experience everything. There are picnic areas to bring your own food and also a café and gift shop, which is slightly expensive but not too bad considering there are plenty of sandwich and cake options available.

Just heading home from a lovely visit to Woodside Wildlife Park. It was our 1st visit but won't be our last. Our toddler loved it as much as we did. From our arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and that was the same throughout the day. We went to a few of the talks and the staff were knowledgeable and happy to answer questions even on this wet day. Lemur walk was closed but it was signposted to find a staff member to open it if required. Nothing was too much trouble. We saw a lot of the animals a few were hiding (probably due to the weather) but we will happily return again to find them on a nicer day.
A lovely cafe too with a selection of toasties/jacket potatoes and sandwiches. Kids meal deal bags and also lovely selection of cakes and drinks all at a reasonable price.
Nice play area too fit for all ages. Was a sand pit in the rainforest area too.

I've got to say we had a great couple of hours, for a couple of ageing adults we smiled all the way around. If you have children with you you will need a lot more time. All areas accessible for people in wheelchairs or buggies. Staff friendly and knowledgeable.

A small zoo in comparison to others but an excellent, thoroughly enjoyable day.
Animals include a tiger, wolves, crocodiles, sea eagles, lynx, penguins, lemurs, otters, meerkats & more.
There's also a play area for kids, a cafe & a gift shop.
Staff were really friendly & keepers more than happy to talk about the animals & help you learn more about them.

Great value for money, a small zoo which makes it easier to see the animals. Popular animals I saw were wolves, crocodiles, tiger, lemurs, snakes, emperor penguins, Eagle, racoon, monkey, my favourite was seeing the Sloth, quite very slow animal and lovely.
It's quite a lovely place and parking is free, and the wolves and reptile talks done by the Rangers was also quite informative and intriguing.
Great value for money.
"Fossils Galore" offers fantastic kids activities and a Dino dig with great prizes. The activity bundle is reasonably priced and includes lots of fun for kids of all ages. The staff are friendly and professional, and the shop offers reasonably priced items, making it perfect for kids with pocket money. Visitors highly recommend the experience and look forward to returning to explore the museum.
We attended today, it was fantastic!! The kids activities are amazing, the image below is everything one of my children got from the activities she did and the prize she won from the Dino dig.
Fossils galore is brilliantly priced, I couldn’t believe everything we got for the activity bundle! 100% worth doing. Lots of activities for kids of all ages.
All of the staff are friendly and professional. After the activities we looked round the shop, all items were priced in the right price range for crystals. I was so impressed because all the kids items were perfectly priced. Brilliant for kids who maybe are going with pocket money.
I highly recommend, we didn’t have time for the museum today but we’re all looking forward to go back and see the museum.

This was a new discovery for us! Me and my son had no plans so I searched online for things to do and this place popped up.

We are first time visitors and we will definitely be back!!
We completed the skills bundle and it was so much fun!! We did get a bit competitive as a family.
When you first arrive, I didn't see anywhere to park but we found a car park that was 5 min walk, it looks like a shop. Lacey was telling us it's an old bank (the old safe can still be seen). When you first walk in, there are cases filled with crystals, fossils and jewellery. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We asked about fossil hunting (found on their website and from reviews read) and they gave us a list!! Skills bundle selected!! Jamie suggested the museum and we have 6 months membership... hopefully a little bit more Indy will be seen).
Out back is where we had a great time going from station to station. Lacey stayed with us the whole time and helped me find a blue and white piece of pottery 🥰🥰 thank you Lacey!! We could take 3 pieces from each station. Safe to say we now have a goody bag upon leaving!! It was carefully thought of as all pieces were bagged with a info sheet!! Perfect to help remind ourselves after a few months!!
Lacey offered to show us around the museum, though small... it was enough to appreciate the work that went into what they have!! Check out the mammoth hip and Indy's skin prints!!
After walking around the museum... shopping!! OK, me and my step daughter can shop but we struggled to think of what we wanted to buy!! There are so many pieces that we could of got, the thought and care behind the displays!!
We will be back!! And we are thinking about joining the field trips too!!
Thank you Jamie and Sarah for fossil galore and thank you Lacey for putting up with us 🥰🥰

Rand Farm Park has everything a kid could want - animals to feed, rides on a tractor and trailer, indoor and outdoor play areas, as well as an air cannon shooting arena. There is also a play barn for smaller animals as well as sand pits and pedal tractors for kids to explore. The farm staff are very friendly and the place is always kept clean.
A beautiful experience. Lots of fun things for the children to do. Great access to well cared for animals. No more to pay once you've paid for entry. Friendly staff make for a very pleasurable day out.

Great little play park with bouncy pillows. My biggest mistake was not checking the closing time we went midweek and didn’t realise it closed at 2 🙈 I wish I’d turned up earlier to have more time here!!

Such a nice little place, it’s definitely not filled with animals BUT there’s tonnes for the kids to do and the animals they do have are obviously well cared for.
Plenty of parking space but I have heard it can get really busy.
The facilities are all clean and well maintained. The cafe is big enough and has decent options, portion sizes are small for adult meals but the kids get plenty! The gift shop is big and reasonably priced.

Absolutely fantastic. We have been to similar kid farms for activities and things to do local in the Midlands….
However we decided to book the night before as weather was predicted to be dry… it was one of the wettest days, which I thought we’d be full of mud grumpy 3 year old etc but how wrong was I? Pleasant staff, yes a lot was outdoors trampolines bouncy pillows and play equipment. We used the summertime sledges (but wet but we had fun) the the huge slides outside were brill, go karts we’re fab, the tractor ride was ok just right timing however… the animals disliked the rain as much as us!! Aha
They had an indoor cannon shoot with foam small balls, the adults had more fun! Aha
The animal barn is layout brilliant and activities throughout the day… smaller animals are put into areas for the kids to pet them and they was lovely.
The soft play was not massive but for us it was perfect.
Toy shop was ok priced and the deluxe hot chocolate is a must!
Prices were not expensive compared to some farms and I think we had the best out the time we were there! Was impressed and glad we took our raincoats! But would love to return!

We enjoyed a lovely day here celebrating our granddaughter's birthday. Despite the typically wet British weather, there was plenty to do and see for all members of the party (which included young and old members.) Family of 6 2 adults and 4 kids with extra child and two adults in tow.
Utilised the winter admission (dirt cheap).
Upon arrival, it was welcomed and shown to parking, which is a good touch, saves the usual chaos of people trying to get as close to front as possible drama. Car park is stoned but not marked out bays.
Easy to locate using sat navigation.
Parking looked to be of plenty.
Park it self was clean tidy with plenty spaced to sit and picnic, rest ect. Plenty dustbins with minimal litter.
Set out well with animals one end and said animals located in appropriate spacious and clean pens, avirys and barns.
All looked happy and easy to move about both animals and humans.
Play areas are awesome. Indoor is heated and huuuge.
Outdoor ones are cool too. There was trampolines, a all weather slope kart thingy.
Seesaws and we found a mini golf put area.
Tractor ride was short but very much fun.
Indoor softball shooting area was great too.
Staff welcoming and kind informative. Loved the calf feeding and the cow milking session. Small animal petting was a lovely touch too.
but over all I am happy and we would return again.
Kids all loved it and that's all that mattered to us.

Great day out, plenty to do even if it rains, indoor animals with chances to feed, pet and hold. Even better when it's sunny and you can enjoy all the outdoor space. Restaurant a bit pricey, so we took a pack lunch as with admission price can get expensive for a family day out. A shop filled with toys as soon as you walk in and next to the toilets. So had to rush through to avoid our tolder expecting a new toy.

Tattershall Castle is a 15th century castle with battlements, moats, bridges and grounds to explore. The building has outstanding historical knowledge and helpful staff combined with superb visual aids. The props were a little skimpy, but the visit was still enjoyable thanks to the Lancaster bomber overhead.
Lovely day out, quick top while in the local area. The church is also stunning, take a moment to go inside and look up. The graveyard is also worth a look, quite a few headstones from 1880s. Made my way up to the top of the tower for some sunning views.

One of the best castles we have visited. There are a lot of steps to climb but for those that are able, its well worth a visit. There are four floors so you can catch your breath in between each floor. You will find plenty of information in each room and at the top the views are stunning. There's a small shop where you pay the entrance fee and you can buy bottles/cans of soft drinks, there's also a toilet block not far from the shop. Ample parking too. Plus there's a room with clothes replicating the period to dress up in and take photos of yourself.

Much more to see than we expected. A friendly and helpful guide tells the story of this magnificent brick castle and its various owners. Fantastically extensive views from the roof. No coffee shop, but the church next door goes coffee and cake (but closes quite early!). Plenty of tables for a picnic.

Worth a visit if in the area. Really nice grounds and an interesting look into the history of the place.
Admission was about what you expect. We paid for a family ticket which is £25 for 2 adults and 3 children. Also bought an ice cream from the shop there and the prices were surprisingly very reasonable!
You can go to the top of the main house which has some really good views around the local area.

It's a very lovely castle and it's well looked after. Beautiful grounds around the castle, a moat and a church. It's situated in a nice little village and very easy to access.
There was plenty of parking on the Saturday that we went, although I can imagine, peak summer, it may be busy as the views from the top of the castle on a warm, sunny day would be beautiful.
Lots of useful and historical information is dotted around the castle, which is great for those looking for an in depth knowledge of the castle's history.
The staff were very friendly and polite as I find they always are at national trust places.
The only disappointment for us, at no fault of the staff, was that the basement wasn't open due to the amount of rainfall we've had lately overflowing the moat and flooding the basement. However, it's only a 40 minute drive so I'll certainly be going back in the summer to enjoy it in full 👍

We visited Tattershall Castle with two of our grandchildren. It was a flying visit as we had booked to visit the Petwood Hotel for afternoon tea. That said we had time to visit the church next door that was very nice and under some restoration work. From there we walked the short distance to the National Trust reception for the Castle. The team were very helpful and gave us useful information for the visit. We had time to climb the 149 steps to the castle roof. Although you need to be vigilant with young children climbing the stairs, they are actually quite wide and there are many windows, so well lit as well. We arrived on the roof for spectacular views in every direction, stunning.
We descended back down and walked around the rooms at the bottom. There are floors to peruse, but as said we were a bit pushed for time.
Stopped back off in reception as our eagle eyed grandchildren had seen the second hand books for sale. We bought them one each and one for myself. With that we left for our onward journey.
The castle has a lovely location and well worth a visit. We are national Trust members, so would certainly recommend to visit if you're in the area.

A small entrance follows into a lovely car park, lined with trees. The path follows past the church and into the castle grounds. There's grass for picnics, but the toilet is on the outside of the site entrance. The castle is a great walk around, steeped in history. Not just the history from long ago, but we enjoyed reading the graffiti from the last 100 years or so. The views from the top are great, well worth the climb up the stairs.

Lovely little gem of a place. If you have a couple of hours to spare (it's not a full day out), Shop is decent and not overpriced, the grounds have a nice little trail and there is a church on the grounds which is very nice. Some great views from the top. This place also has a very interesting and rich history.
Peter Dooley — Google review
An unusual castle here with the red brick facade. I imagine it looks even better on a sunny day. To fully experience it, you need to be prepared for the spiral staircase to get to 80% of it, although it is a wide and easy one as spiral staircases go, and has a good handrail. There isn't that much to see in each room, other than a fireplace and a few info boards, but the building itself is quite intriguing to explore. The views from the top are then quite vast, but be prepared if it's cold and windy as you step out. Sadly no cafe here, but there are a few sweets and lollies in the reception, and there's toilet facilities and free parking nearby. Whilst there aren't any grounds to explore like many NT properties, there are public footpaths along the waterways.

I adore this place. I love its location. You can't go wrong. The church is very sweet and interesting too. Lots and lots and lots of spiral steps! Ample car parking. Interesting, inviting chambers, garderobes, fireplaces and wonderful views. NB. No tea shop!

A beautiful and unique castle with some old history. The tower/castle is quite tall and interesting, you can climb at the very top of it. At the very top the feeling and the view is astonishing... additionally you can descend in the castle cellars as well it's not so big to explore, but still interesting to visit. This place have a small tradition with the wedding's stuff. So you can often see some bride's and etc taking photos of themselves to remember. The price for the adults tickets is 8 pounds, for kids i think 4 pounds each. But prices are quite fair i Guess. It's a nice place to spend time with your kids and families. My verdict - 7.5/10.

What a beautiful building in wonderfully kept grounds, warm and informative welcome. There is no cafe and the toilets are behind the reception. The castle is grand with plenty of history, once owned by a Cromwell and then Charles Brandon, Henry VIII best friend. 144 steps to the top which is a challenge but worth it for the view, if you decide not to go up, review my pictures. There is very little in the building, mostly empty rooms, with couple of reading locations. After return back down you can enjoy a ice cream from the shop

I really liked this castle. It has been well preserved and has links to old mate Curzon who perhaps had more a sense of heritage protection than I had previously given him credit for considering his flamboyant expenditure in showing off his wealth in other areas of his life. Really nice place to spend a few hours.

Lovely grounds, small shop where you can buy and ice cream but no other catering facilities on site.
Personally my favourite aspect of the castle is the medieval graffiti. It gives a different insight into our past.

There was plenty to see at the Castle, the staff had put out games for the kids to play as well. We were fortunate with the weather, showed the beautiful scenery all over when you walked to the top. The views were amazing. There were talks during the day, which provided the history of the castle. There were lots of information boards to show what part of the castle was what and the history behind when it was destroyed and rebuilt etc. Well worth the visit.

We had a wonderful visit to Tatershall Castle; we were staying in the area and decided to make the most of our membership. We anticipated the castle being not much more than ruins (we didn't read up beforehand); however, much to our delight, it was well-kept and restored in the early 1900s before being handed over to the trust. It has a fantastic history, and the restoration (no doubt with later support works by the trust) meant that the building has stood the test of time. Whilst there's not much furniture or elements, the architecture and history are worth the trip - plus the fantastic views from the roof! It's well worth a trip if you're in the area.

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre is a must-see for aviation enthusiasts, with interesting displays including the only remaining examples of the fighter planes used in the battle. The centre is located in an old military hangar, and provides guided tours that last around one hour.
Well worth a visit, the museum contains a brilliant display of WW2 aircraft including Spitfires, Hurricane, Dakota and the world famous Lancaster bomber.
The display can only be seen with a guide as it is set within a operational RAF base. The guide was very knowledgeable and told various fascinating stories about the history of each aircraft.
If you are lucky there might be a flight display of typhoon aircraft which take off on training runs on a regular basis. The best place to view this is in the plane spotters car park which is situated few hundred yards from entrance of the museum. Highly recommend

The visitor centre is well laid out, and the hanger tour is fantastic, last for over 90 minutes and the knowledge the guide has is amazing. Please support these guys and go and see, you will not be disappointed.

Really enjoyed this
The chap doing the tour was really interesting with plenty of information about the aircraft on view. Would recommend this tour and will definitely visit again. We were lucky to have the added extra of the Typhoons practicing above us.
Many thanks for a great tour.

A very good time spent here. The guided tour was excellent and well presented by our guide, Colin. A good number of aircraft undergoing service work as we were taken around. The museum was very interesting with plenty to take on board. We used the small cafe for a good cuppa and the shop seemed well stocked with items mostly relating to the BBMF. For me, it was a little emotional too as one of the aircraft belonged to the Squadron my father did his national service with in 49-51.
Time well spent, go see for yourself.

Visited on the members day at the end of September 2023 thanks to a good friend. It was a busy day with maybe 1500 people. The hanger was open with vendors selling some very interesting army surplus type gear, beers, books and more. The main event was outside in the sky as it was flying day. The Lancaster, three spitfires, and hurricane and a P51 Mustang were all flying and it was a fabulous privilege to see these warbirds back to life in the sky. Bring your own folding chairs as it's standing on the concrete looking up for the most part. The cafe is pretty good with Eccles cakes, sausage rolls and a good selection of sandwiches. I'd you can use the overflow car park as it's a much shorter walk to the cafe and hangar.

Amazing place to learn and see history of the flight. Paul the guide was really good and shared some really interesting information. The planes were fantastic to see up close. The tour is approximately 90 minutes. There are toilets and a small cafe. The centre is accessible to those with mobility issues. Highly recommended.

It is a fabulous place. The knowledge of the guides and their passion is second to none. Seeing the aircraft up close is a joy and the stories of those represented is guaranteed to bring emotion. A must visit if you are in the area.

Arrived a lot early my mistake and the cause of my only negative comment, the cafe was closed!
The tour, the guide and the aircraft were and are Superb. The guide brought history and the technology to life.
Our visit was crowned by the return of the Lancaster fron Ireland, we heard her fly overhead, magnificent, we watched her taxi to the hanger and watched as the ground crew moved her into the hanger. We even got to chat with the pilot who came over to chat and answer questions.
A truly wonderful experience, and who cares about a cafe anyway?

Had a great tour guided by Nick. Very detailed explanation and history of the aircraft and weaponry, coupled with knowledgeable historical context. It is a working hangar with technicians servicing the a/c. There is a great exhibition providing a good background to the Battle of Britain and the Bomber campaign.
Very reasonable cafe + shop.
Well worth a visit.

Fantastic tour from the lovely James who was not only funny but incredibly knowledgeable about all things Battle of Britain. Some of the stories he told were very moving. He was great with the children in the groups and got them involved in the tour too. He was generally just a fabulous host! The tour was excellent and totally worth the very small entrance fee! After the tour, we also saw Typhoons taking off and landing and were also lucky enough to see the Lancaster wheeled out for engine testing. What a beast!

There's not a lot there other that the guided tour which lasts about 90 minutes. There's a small museum 2 small rooms and a small gift shop.
The coffee shop is really nice and serves a decent coffee or tea. Shame about the view though.
If you want to see the planes flying your better off going to a show.

Amazing aircraft exhibition on RAF Coningsby, featuring six Spitfires, two Hurricanes, a Lancaster, a Dakota and two Chipmuncks, which are all regularly flown by RAF pilots.
Don, our volunteer guide, was brilliantly witty and delighted us with inspiring and moving anecdotes from the country’s brave past. Thank you for an inspirational visit, I will definitely return.

We've been planning on visiting here for so long !! Only open Mon - Fri, as weekends are generally when the various planes are out at shows etc. Tours start at 10.00, currently there's no need to book as it's the quiet season, but advisable in the school holidays breaks and summer months. Very friendly, very informative staff/volunteers. The museum/information area is free, and definitely worth a visit if your time us limited. The tours are 1 hr 30 mins, although ours almost ran into 2 hrs (which, if I'm honest, was a bit too long for me !). But, extremely interesting, there's the history aspect, and the very real physical planes in front of you. Amazingly restored ... and, of course the Lancaster !! RAF personnel apply to be stationed here (engineers) the pilots have to train to pilot these incredible old machines, the fly in their own time - the dedication to keeping this alive is quite something. A little cafe provides drinks and snacks. Toilets. There's no bags allowed, but phones with cameras (on flight mode) are allowed. Big car park with no height barrier. Great experience, well organised, very reasonably priced.

Had the 12:30 tour on Tuesday 2nd April 2004.
Guide was great and very knowledgeable, nice to hear some old stories about the planes and the pilots that fought for our freedom back in the war.
The layout apparently has changed from its old format, and this is for the better. We got up close and personal to spitfires, chipmunks and the mighty Lancaster.
The highlight for myself though was due to it being a working hangar, there is movement and work happening throughout. And because of this we got to sear, hear and smell the startup of a merlin then watch a spitfire taxi out ready to go for it's first flight of the season.
Will be going back at some point no doubt.

The working hanger holds amazing planes, you need to be there to be amazed. Simon our friendly and helpful quide showed us many planes and explained there history in great detail. It was deeply touching to see one of there Spitfires was carrying the decals of 303, my dearly departed Polish Grandfathers Squadron.I can't say how amazing that was.
I can't recommend enough. Great cafe, gift shop and museum too. We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you everyone in front and also behind the scenes. I helped me enjoy my birthday perfectly .

The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre tells the story of how air power has changed throughout history. It features an aircraft museum with a 1940s Bomber Airfield, and provides a taxy ride experience in an RAF Avro Lancaster bomber. The centre is a popular attraction for families, who can learn about aviation history while having fun.
Fantastic old school relaxed atmosphere museum full of information and packed with exhibits. A very well kept site and great cafe with an extensive gift shop. A wonderfully laid out control tower with sounds and voices of a busy but important time.

Never fails to delight. Wonderful atmosphere. Dedicated, enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff. Excellent cafe and gift shop. Wonderful artefacts and history. Hanger with workshop and a B52 being restored. Then, of course, there's the experience of seeing and hearing that amazing Lancaster Bomber, Just Jane.

We had a most enjoyable time here. The exhibits are very interesting. The star of the show is the Lancaster but the B25 and mosquito are well worth the visit. We spent quite some time chatting with some of the amazing people who are restoring the Lancaster to flying condition.
There is plenty to do and see. Including a very good NAAFI

Absolutely awesome.
I'd been before as a coach driver, but this was the first time with my wife and kids, plus the outlaws everyone enjoyed it especially the kids.
Just Jane, taxiing up and down the runway was thrilling, and the kids were in awe.
The kids engaged with everything and it brought history to life for them.
I would highly recommend a visit here for all ages.
We will be going back, only this time without the moaning outlaw.

I'd never been here before as it's out of my way, but had a few days leave from work so decided to visit. Well what a great day out. Just Jane (Lancaster bomber) was undergoing various maintenance tasks, but she is a beautiful aircraft and to get so close to her is a real buzz.
Also undergoing restoration is a Mosquito, which is equally beautiful.
Most of the site is accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs with the exception of the upper part of the control tower. I'm not sure how accessible the toilets are, as I didn't visit them.
Lots of things to see, read and do, including the NAFFI where there are lots of food and drinks.
Various different areas including the Home front exhibition, Control tower, Escape museum, Wellington bomber display and much, much more.
I didn't check all of the admission prices, but at £10 per adult, I thought this was good value.
Worthy of a good day out - 5 stars from me.

Everyone was enthusiastic and really helpful. The Hampden reconstruction was closed but a man called Philip opened it for me. I was very eager to see this as one crashed into my church during the war, killing the pilot. (St. Matthias Church Lincoln. ) I also found literature that told my more about the pilot (P/O D D Snooke) which was great. The lunch was good too. They were testing the engines on the Lancaster and the Mosquito which was amazing. Overall a fantastic experience. Thanks again @

Our visit was fir the East Kirkby Air show but sadly it rained for most of the day & none of the aircraft destined to fly could leave their host base.
Nonetheless there were taxi runs by Mosquito & Lancaster aircraft & there was a static B24 Mitchell on display.
The Aviation museum was inside a large hangar that was being used for the indoor stalls so it was too busy to enjoy.
Despite the weather the event was well organised & very well attended.

Entry was £11 per adult, but well worth it.

Visited on the Open Day, Bank Holiday Monday 6 May 2024. The Lancaster made three taxi runs during the day. Where else can you see and hear a Lancaster with 4 engines running? In my opinion, it was worth the £12 admission charge. Interesting displays in the main hanger, and period buildings

Great value for money. The exhibition of memorabilia is outstanding and presented with care and attention. But the star of the show is of course Just Jane she is just wonderful to look at and listen to the sound of the 4 Merlin engines start up.

I'm a frequent visitor and it's great to see ongoing work on the Lancaster as well as the Mosquito and B25.
There are reviews that claim it's "too expensive". Is it really, though? Where else are you going to see a working Lancaster Bomber so close you can almost touch it? Not to mention the De Havilland Mosquito that was used in the short film "The Shepherd" starring John Travolta. Where else can you stand and watch a talented group of people working to restore the Lancaster to flight condition? Not only that, ask them questions and they always have time to talk to you and provide any information they can.
There are information boards around displaying the running and maintenance costs for the previous year - this is a six figure sum, every year, and that's without the cost of the restoration to airworthiness.
The main hangar also contains many exhibits of aircraft parts recovered from nearby crash sites ranging from small barely identifiable parts up to engines, propellers, a wrecked spitfire fuselage and a Canberra cockpit you can explore.
There are numerous other exhibitions including a small cinema, escape museum, radio room, a simulated air raid shelter and many displays of aircraft parts, engines and information on the Nuremberg raids, the Dambusters and more.
There are also several examples of wartime vehicles to see.
The NAAFI offers a range of food from cooked meals to cakes, biscuits and ice cream, tea and coffee, and sits at the main entrance/exit with a gift shop at the end. The walls are covered with more information, photos, medals and paintings. A variety of large model aircraft hang from the ceiling.
There are taxi runs every week, usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You can sit inside the plane during taxi runs which, having done it, is a unique experience. This isn't cheap, and has to be booked in advance via their website and spaces are filled up very quickly.
It's a good day out for little more than ten quid, and there are several big events each year which cost more for entry, but then there are food stalls, tank displays, many stalls, plus Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flypasts including the UKs only airworthy Lancaster - one of only two in the world. They also have searchlight demonstrations and a lengthy firework display at their final season event in November every year.
There's loads of parking adjacent to the NAAFI, plus a larger car park that opens for the big events. I've been to many of them and the entry queues are always processed quickly.
If you have even a slight interest in WW2 aircraft and history, then it's well worth a visit.

It was great seeing the Lancaster driving around the runway. There's plenty to see around the whole base. It's great to see history being preserved so well.
There is plenty of free parking, very dog friendly (not allowed inside the cafe). Lots of outdoor seating and picnic benches.
I would love to see when they have all 3 planes out of the hangars. I imagine the event days are good.
It's amazing to walk around and experience a bit of history. You can't help but think of all the people that would have been based there during WW2 and the Battle of Britain. Lovely little Chapel, too.
The gift has lots of cool items. If I lived closer I'd be visiting all the time.

First visit today and I'm blown away, truly amazing place
The Oxburgh Estate is a charming medieval manor house steeped in Catholic heritage. It features a hidden room for priests, as well as a chapel and scenic woodland trails. Situated amidst a moat, it is an equally popular attraction to St. Margaret's Church for those interested in the royal-Gothic architecture of the region. Nature enthusiasts will enjoy exploring Snettisham Park or the Gooderstone Water Gardens & Nature Trails nearby, while history buffs can visit Castle Rising.
This place was great, their is works going on to improve the building but this doesn't stop you that much enjoying the gardens and the house. A number of nice walks around the house and longer walks available, you can get a map from the hut to left after you get in. We went with a picnic but there is a cafe on site and a really nice looking pub just over the road next to a new play park for the kids.

The upstairs rooms were not ready for viewing when this visit took place, so I suspect from what was mentioned by the guide, it would be worthy of a higher rating when opened. The church was also closed.
There was a free talk by a guide, which lasted nearly an hour and was very informative. Jane, the guide, walked the group around the house taking us through the centuries of the house and family's fortune.
The talk, with more rooms open, could easily elevate this to a better rating. Guides were all very friendly and the garden was lovely too.
It had a free car park, cafe and toilets.

This is a lovely moated historical house. Nice coffee/snack shop and large second hand bookshop that collects money for national trust. The day we visited (Easter Sunday 2024) was busy. But because the weather wasn't brilliant the surrounding area wasn't suitable for walking, so only had a quick walk around house gardens. Imagine it's very pretty in summer months.

Called in on our way to Kings Lynn. Despite the Hall being closed and still under scaffolding, the grounds were beautifully kept. Borriwed a wheelchair and found a path through a planting of mixed daffodils into the woodland towards the church, which we hadn't discovered before. The cafe in the car park had a good range of snacks and cakes too.

Absolutely stunning, beautiful building and estate. I'm glad we were able to see it without scaffolding. It is a magnificent piece of living history!
Would have been 5 stars but for a couple of things... None of which would prevent me from visiting again, and hopefully they will be resolved fairly soon!
1. There was no gift shop. We love buying magnets for our fridge from the places we've visited, and we were unable to get one from Oxburgh Hall.
2. Maps of the property are available, and they have suggested walks. One of the start/end points of one of the walks was closed due to storm damage. An alternate route was suggested via a chalk board, but wasn't very clear and wasn't well signposted, so we got a little lost.
All being told, I would highly recommend a visit. Particularly if you are a National Trust member.
We had immense fun playing Garden Croquet, and practicing a little archery all guided by one of the fantastic volunteers that helps to keep this amazing building alive!

We visited the estate on a Saturday afternoon. The site is part of the National Trust. If you're a member parking and entry are covered in your annual fees. The Estate and grounds are very well maintained and a wonderful place to spend time learning a bit of history and touring the extensive grounds. A moat surrounds the home. The staff are polite and helpful and the volunteers were knowledgeable. There are miles of walking paths, a Catholic Chapel (still in operation) and two places for drinks, sandwiches, and treats. If you are in the area, this is a nice place to visit and spend time with family, kids, and take those visiting.

07-07-2023 Lovely grounds and gardens, amazing property with moat. All the usual NT amenities.
This is our first return after many years and we waited until the restorations to the roof was complete and the scaffolding had gone.
The weather was hot and there are lots of places to sit in the shade and enjoy the view. As ever, in Norfolk, the skies are spectacular.
The vegetable garden was lovely to see, with lots of fruit and veg, not quite ready to harvest.
Just one disappointment, not as much of the house was available to view as I remember and the tapestries were being restored so not available to see when we visited.

Castle Rising is a medieval castle and fortress built in 1138 that boasts elaborate decoration and covers an area of 20 acres. It features a gatehouse and impressive earthworks. The site also includes the Caithness Crystal Visitor Centre, where visitors can admire authentic English glassmaking art. Although it is privately owned by the Howards, Castle Rising offers tours of its well-preserved rooms, corridors, and great hall accessed through steps inside.
Huge impressive old castle. Amazing to have survived for so many hundreds of years. There's a walk around the top of a very deep grassy moat. Inside are steps leading up to rooms, corridors and overlooking the great hall. A little English heritage shop, although the castle remains in the private ownership of the Howards. Lots of walks around this area, and easy access into the village. Lots of parking spaces. If in the area then well worth a visit.

I would have given 5 stars but unfortunately there was a giant wedding tent at one side of the castle, a giant roaring generator under a beautiful old tree and giant portable outhouse for the wedding at the other side of the castle. I understand the need for revenue but surely there was a better place for the set up, or even just keep it to one side to allow pics from the other. Other than my previous rant the castle.was beautiful and really well preserved. I would recommend!

I really appreciate how they preserve such an ancient building. Amazing.... loved the place. Greenery around the castle is so soothing to eyes. No wheelchair accessibility as well as baby strollers inside the castle as it has stairs . £6 pounds per each adult

Whilst the castle has been preserved well and is dog friendly I don't think it's worth £6 entrance fee. To be honest nobody checked entry tickets so you could probably just walk in for a quick look, you'll be back out within 5 minutes due to the size of the site. Would have been nice to see a flag flying for a bit of authenticity. The castle is in a lovely little village which is quintessentially English and that's what made the visit worthwhile. The castle was a bit boring to be honest.

Great castle ruins, with a large car park. Not much here in terms of facilities, but it is a very short walk from the village centre where you can get a nice drink etc. The grounds and castle itself is very scenic and you can have a nice walk round, as well as explore some of the open areas of the castle. Could have done with some additional info boards round to tell you a little more. Don't expect a visit here to last a day or anything, it doesn't take long to walk round, but is worth a visit (especially if you already have English Heritage membership!)

A lovely hidden gem of a castle. The remains are intact enough to explore especially the exterior. There are a few rooms to walk around with information boards, we were given a leaflet with our tickets which had some historical information. Tickets were £5 per adult. The Castle had a lot of interesting history. There is a grassed area surrounding the castle which gives excellent views. Car park is large with toilets. Allow about an hour to explore. There is an excellent tea room a few minutes walk away from the castle.

A wonderful little gem of a castle which is intact enough to be very impressive, especially the exterior. There's quite a few rooms and stairs to walk around with information boards in most areas both inside and out. For a small village this castle has quite a bit of interesting history. It cost £15 for a family ticket, relies on honesty really as it is seemingly easy to just walk in, was on our visit. There is a small shop in an outbuilding where you buy tickets. The grassed area surrounding which includes a very large protective mound helps with fun exploring for the kids. I'd allow around an hour to look around and take in the whole site. The village itself has a nice tea room and pleasant Church too. All a short walk away from each other.

It's a little bit hidden so it doesn't get particularly overwhelmed by the amount of visitors, therefore it can be a good choice to stop at for and hour or so.
It's completely free to visit with an English Heritage membership card.
I can recommend to families (especially with kids) and to people interested in history.

We stumbled across this historic castle whilst on holiday. Lovely ruins and parts that you can still go in and look around. Beautiful grounds, take a picnic if it's nice weather!
Set in a lovely little village, well worth a look around. Tea shop just down the track, past the castle is amazing too. The day after we went they had a historic reenactment, which I'm led to believe is one of many events in the castle grounds during the year.
Free large carpark. Entry fee £6 adults. English heritage members free. Concessions I think were £5.50. Our toddler was free.

Stunningly well preserved Castle, lots to explore - fascinating multi-era spanning interiors. Spectacular moat and surroundings, really worth a visit. Doesn't take long. We visited out of season, but have a English Heritage Pass so it would've been free for us - there were no facilities open which was fine for the time of year. Steps are steep so access can be limited. It was dog friendly and there's a nice little walk path around the grounds for them

Great place to visit. Very well preserved. Good parking and lovely village. Great tea rooms and The black lion pub and beer garden are really nice.

Very impressive ruined castle with equally impressive earthworks works surrounding the castle. The castle has access to some floors and walkways. Small shop on site and toilets on the car park. The village church is a small walk away and worth a visit.

Visit this if you have a spare hour. Free parking. Toilets are available at the car park. We visited on Saturday and it wasn't crowded. The ticket price was £6 for adults as of April 2024. Not a big castle and so it won't take much time for a quick visit.

Great little castle to visit. I’m not sure many people there had actually paid to get in. 🤔

Castle Rising is set in a lovely village. Staying at the Caravan and Motorhome Club site, we walked around 30 minutes to the village. We enjoyed tea and cake at the Castle Rising tea room on School Road. Staff were brilliant, and the cake was excellent. We then walked across the road to the castle. Having paid the £5 fee per person, we wandered around the grounds and inside the castle. The castle is in remarkable condition inside and out and well worth a visit.

This is a beautiful castle! I like to go round and imagine the banquets, battles as well as other events which would have happened there. It’s a great castle. Well worth the visit.

Lovely, interesting place that we spent a good hour at. Nice grounds to walk around, the inside to explore, and dog friendly to boot. The stairs are steep but our pooch managed really well. Toilets available in the car park.

Castle Rising was somewhere we tagged on to our day trip as a good place to stop for a picnic. It was much more than we expected. It was a lovely place for a picnic but also a wonderful medieval walk. We had a good explore of the grounds and the castle interior. This is definitely worth a visit. We would probably go without the picnic next time as there is a beautiful looking tearoom across the road.
The royal estate of Sandringham House is a historical landmark that was the birthplace and childhood home of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent. The estate features displays of royal life and 400 acres of country park and gardens. It is an enjoyable visit with staff who are very knowledgeable about the history of the property. The afternoon tea offered at the estate is perfect with beautiful amuse bouches and attentive good fun staff.
Great day out giving a fascinating insight into the history of the house following its purchase by Edward VII. Staff were friendly, helpful and well informed both in the house and the gardens. The beautifully maintained gardens are well worth a visit in their own right with a surprise round every corner.

Had a lovely time at Sandringham House & Gardens. Beautiful scenery, we stopped to have a picnic. Had a walk around the gardens and church. Stopped off in the courtyard for ice cream then had a walk around the shop and garden centre and bought a few plants to bring home with us. Such a lovely day out would highly recommend.

Great to see the house in its actual setting rather than staged such as Buckingham Palace. Some impressive rooms. Guides inside were brilliant by giving insight about the origins of the decor. Would recommend.

Have visited many times last visit was for the flower show that was attended by the King and Queen. Was well organised and parking was included. Show was a lovely day out. The grounds were open and included in the ticket price. Dogs allowed around the show stalls, country park and the house grounds, house grounds only open to dogs on this day usually they are not. Shop is dog friendly but restaurant is not.

Beautiful gardens and a lovely house. The gardens are well stocked with a variety of tree types, shrubs and flowers ranging from more formal areas to wilder spots.
The area of the house open is part of the ground floor and in the words of a guide "everything you see is what the family have and use when they are in residence."
It was great to see the interior and hear it's development over the years.

Brilliant place. Lovely for a long and adventurous walk through the woods and the house and gardens are lovely too (you have to pay to access the house and gardens although children up to 17 are free!). Cafe is very nice as well and there is a lovely gift shop. Well worth a visit.

Wonderful visit to what feels like a family home. The house staff are so knowledgeable and an absolute delight to speak with - full of little surprising facts and tidbits. And back at the restaurant, the afternoon tea is perfectly judged with gorgeous amuse bouches and very attentive, good fun staff. Our mouths were very amused. Nice selection of teas which keep coming.
A wonderful afternoon at a very special place.
Thanks for having us!

Lovely surroundings and dog walks. Dogs allowed in the park cafe and shop but not in the gardens or house. Still a great place to go on a sunny day. The children's playground is amazing. Parking is reasonably priced and plenty of room.

House tour would have been nice to see more rooms than 3 and a room with paintings. Was in there 10 mins, and then there was the exit door. The gardens made up for it. It was lovely and had some really nice photos of me and my husband. Would visit the gardens again. The staff were helpful and polite. Coffee was lovely too.

Was really good, cafe is expensive and would advise taking own snacks but the childrens play area was brilliant and the walk ways were good compared to most woods we have been to. Maple the dog had the best time

Amazing park! We drove from Bury and spent over 4 hours there. The park is HUGE and my kids had a blast. Just some notes: there is a cafe, restaurant, ice cream shop, and a store, there are plenty of picnic tables by the cafe area. Facilities are very clean. There is seating withing the play area for parents, but no dogs allowed in the playground, so I found a spot in the giant field just outside of the play area. Next time I will definitely bring a blanket or some folding chairs. There were also trails, but we did not partake this time.

A nice place to visit and see the house and grounds. Unfortunately there isn't an awful lot to do as the house is closed to guests. There is a nice tea room for food and a gift shop.

For £23pp there is precious little extra to see compared to free to access area. Only a few rooms in the ground floor are accessible to visitors. Grounds seemed a little parched probably due to the drought. Restaurant is great but lacking in options.

Very special place. Unique pieces, whether artwork or furniture, and history abound.
We caught the free “golf” cart up to the estate, walked through the 9 rooms that are part of the house tour, and proceeded to the old horse stables for a spot of lunch. Some old royal cars and fire engines are displayed at the stables also. Loads to see and the tour guides that are dotted around the house are very knowledgeable and helpful. Lots of the garden and playground areas are doggy friendly. Not to be missed!

The house is full of beautiful things and the tour guides are great, essential even, so knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
The grounds and lake are beautiful.
£23 for house and garden was a bit expensive, especially because the garden by the house is currently off-limits.

A super day out! Interesting house and lovely gardens. They are currently displaying a collection of the King's watercolour paintings which are fantastic. They also offer an audio tour guide which is worth having. A couple of cafes to choose from as well as a restaurant and not too expensive. Outside of the house grounds you can also visit the church where the Royal Family go for Christmas as well as a couple of nice walks around the woods.
Best to buy tickets in advance as you need to book a time slot.

What a fantastic place to visit. A beautiful house and the most amazing woodlands with a great outdoor adventure playground for the young ones. A great place to walk the dog, to look inside of one of the Kings homes. Ensure you have a look in the shop and if your hungry then food is available at reasonable prices. Alternatively you could bring a picnic and eat it in this beautiful estate.

Fabous Park / estate. The house is surprisingly homely. A lot of gorgeous crockery, etc, is on display, which I imagine is put away when no royals in residence.
The Christmas market was mainly food but all very atmospheric.
Sandringham always worth a visit. And second one third one...

Amazing place to visit. We were there all day. You can spend as long as you like in the private gardens (but arrive for your booking into the house on time). The staff inside the house were very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information, even things like where the Christmas tree goes and showed us the piano that the Princess of Wales (Catherine) & Princess Eugenie plays at Christmas. Saw a lovely exhibition of King Charles paintings of all the royal residents too. Also the private church that the royal family worship in at Christmas was open for visitors and it was small but beautiful inside. Outside the private gardens is a cafe, restaurant, shop and ice cream shop, a huge play area for children and the huge Sandringham park to explore. I would recommend and will return

Skegness Aquarium is a stunning attraction close to the beachfront with a wide range of attractions for visitors of all ages including exhibits of fish and marine wildlife, an adrenaline-fuelled shark dive experience and Aqua Theatre with an immense pane of glass displaying creatures like sharks and stingrays. There's also an educational element to the aquarium, with a focus on pirates and adventures at sea.
Yesterday I had my first ever diving experience and it was one of the best things I have ever taken part in. Not only do the team make you feel at ease, they help you learn about the equipment used when diving and how to make sure that you dive safely. The new full face diving mask made me feel a lot more comfortable and I could just enjoy the experience without the faff. Josh was incredibly helpful, guiding me around the tank as I had trouble with walking around the bottom.
Whilst in the tank, I loved seeing the fish up close and seeing how playful the sharks and the fish were. My favourite part was when we were playing with the fish by sprinkling sand on them.
I would highly recommend this experience and I know I will definitely look into courses available for diving in the future.

We had the most amazing time visiting Skegness Aquarium. From start to finish every member of staff we came into contact with made the experience more enjoyable. I’d highly recommend snorkelling with sharks, my 9 year old loved it. We can’t wait to go back and try a diving experience. I even left my swim bag and the aquarium went above and beyond to post it back to us, the manager Kerry also phoned to check it had arrived safely. Thank you.

We visited midweek during term time, I absolutely love going to aquariums so it was so nice that it was quiet and you could see all the fish and other little critters fully and stay as long as you wanted with each of them. Highly recommend this place to visit for an hour or two!

Great for little ones. The dig site in Jurassic Falls is such a good idea.
The quiet side room next to the big tank in the aquarium is my favourite place. Really relaxing when its not too busy.
I only wish they had more space as its a bit difficult to get around when its busy, especially if you have a pushchair, but it can't be helped. We've been quite a few times in the past 4 years and always enjoy it.

Today myself and my husband did the shark experience at the centre all I can say is absolutely wow absolutely fantastic loved every single minute, staff go above and beyond can't thank Nanny Shark enough for helping me into my wet suit, the two divers we had were also absolutely amazing talked us through everything and made the whole experience stress-less and out us at ease once you've been briefed you go down into the tank with a massive array of fish 🐠🐟🦈 it's a wonderful controlled way to see up close and personal some beautiful fish and experience the whole scuba 🤿 dive, the diver team also keep in touch with you the whole time with hand signals and you have a ear piece so they can also talk to you and advise you can't wait to do it all over again worth every penny it's a must!!

Again, it's a good place to visit when the weather's not too great.
It's good for the family and kids, you can get involved with a quiz as you walk around. Plenty to see as well as the fish and sea life you also have dinosaurs!
There's a soft play within the cafe so you can spend a fair amount of time entertaining the kids.

Been 2 years in a row on holiday and loved it both times. Lovely little place, not massive but the price reflects that, very good value. Love the interactive sand table and fossil excavation activities for the kids (and secretly for me). Love the aqua theatre, can sit and watch the fish for ages.

A good way to spend the day, lots to do for kids... Watching the baby sharks doing laps of a pretty big pool is quite mesmerising. Loads of variety of fish, all seem well looked after. There's a decent cafe up top with good views of the coast.

Came here with a friend to do a shark diving experience. I was really impressed with the way the whole thing was run. Done all the briefing online before and got given clear instructions on the day. Was an absolutely amazing experience to be up close with such amazing sharks and fish.
The walk around the rest of the aquarium was just as good with lots of information boards and plenty to see. There is a good cafe that has some delicious cakes. All the staff are really friendly and knowledgeable.

This was great, the main feature tank was awesome and there were plenty of spots for the kids to get close and see everything.
The aquarium wasn't very big, but it had a small soft play by the cafe and an outside area with dinosaurs.

Nice time out with family, conjoined Aquarium and Dinosaur Park.
In the aquarium there is an option that you can go under the water in full equipment with a professional instructor. Even children can learn diving.
Dinosaurs are very colorful and made with details. Some of them are moving slightly and making sounds.
Attraction for children is collecting answers to get letters to earn some price at the entryway.

Good place to visit with kids. They loved it. A lot of knowledge was shared. And a magic show inside it, was good. My kid loved it.
Expect to spend a minimum 3 hours in it. And better to get in early by 10am at least.
Take time in doing activities they offer. That was cool and time passing.
Jurassic Park was also good and had good time there too.

⭐⭐⭐⭐
Our visit to the aquarium in Skegness proved to be a delightful escape from the bad weather, as it was one of the few places open. Upon arrival, the staff greeted us warmly, and we were impressed by the well-maintained facility. For a group of four adults and two children, the entry fee of £50+ felt reasonable for the experience offered.
Throughout the aquarium, we found ample spaces to pause and observe an array of fish species. The cleanliness of the glass tanks enhanced our viewing pleasure and facilitated easier photography, adding to the overall enjoyment. Halfway through our journey, we encountered a children's show, adding an interactive element to the visit. The opportunity for kids to participate, win sweets, and create balloon animals was a highlight. Additionally, the interactive fish coloring activity, where creations came to life on a screen, was a hit with the youngsters.
Although we didn't explore the outdoor dinosaur section due to the rain, it seemed intriguing. Upstairs, we found a café offering reasonably priced food, including a satisfyingly large pizza for £9. The kids' play area provided a welcome break for them to burn off some energy. While we didn't inquire about the prices for snorkeling or diving with sharks, these options added an adventurous touch for those interested.
The aquarium's diverse collection of fish, including jellyfish and eels, captivated our attention until the end. Exiting through the gift shop, we appreciated the token of two gold chocolate coins for completing a puzzle, even if the solution seemed a bit ambiguous. While the shop's prices were typical for such attractions, they leaned towards the expensive side.
Overall, our experience at the Skegness aquarium was highly enjoyable, offering a mix of educational opportunities and interactive fun for visitors of all ages.

Skegness Pier is a large amusement arcade and tourist attraction with amazing coastal views on the East Coast of Lincolnshire, England. There are loads of family activities to do here like bowling, laserquest and climbing walls. Wristbands for day passes start from £7 for juniors and £20 for adults.
One of the beautiful beaches in the UK. Kids will love this site as there are numerous mini games located throughout the shore. If possible, go on a weekday because there will be fewer people. There is a vast range of cuisine to dine.

Nice little pier, but it's a shame the old pier hasn't stood the test of time. The remaining pier does have sooner of the old metalwork running around the bottom of the railings. Even though this is shorter than the original pier there are some lovely views back to the town. At the end, if you look out towards the sea, you can still see some of the foundations to the old pier.

During my recent visit to Skegness, I couldn't resist the temptation to explore the iconic Skegness Pier. This historic landmark has been a hub of entertainment for locals and tourists alike for over a century. From classic arcade games to thrilling rides and breathtaking views, Skegness Pier offers a delightful experience for visitors of all ages.
As soon as you step foot onto the pier, you're greeted with a lively buzz of excitement. The vibrant colors, the sound of laughter, and the tantalizing aroma of traditional seaside treats create an irresistible allure. The staff members were friendly and helpful, ready to assist with any queries or directions we needed.
One of the highlights of the pier is the wide range of thrilling rides on offer. Whether you're an adrenaline junkie or prefer a more relaxed experience, Skegness Pier has it all. The roller coasters were exhilarating, providing a rush of adrenaline as they zoomed through loops and twists. For those seeking a more laid-back adventure, there were carousels and gentle rides that offered panoramic views of the sea. The rides were well-maintained, and safety measures were clearly prioritized.
Another standout feature of Skegness Pier is the breathtaking views it offers. Walking along the pier, you're treated to stunning vistas of the sandy beaches, the sparkling sea, and the charming coastline. The pier's location provides a perfect spot for capturing memorable photographs or simply immersing yourself in the beauty of nature. Taking a moment to soak in the serene atmosphere was a definite highlight of my visit.
In terms of facilities, Skegness Pier doesn't disappoint. Clean restrooms, ample seating areas, and a variety of food and beverage options are available to ensure a comfortable experience for visitors. There are also souvenir shops where you can pick up mementos to commemorate your visit.
The only slight downside to my experience was the occasional overcrowding, especially during peak times. While it's understandable that such a popular attraction would draw large crowds, it can make navigating through the pier a bit challenging. However, this didn't significantly dampen my overall enjoyment.
In conclusion, Skegness Pier offers an entertaining and nostalgic experience that captures the essence of a traditional seaside getaway. From classic arcade games to thrilling rides and stunning views, there's no shortage of fun-filled activities to indulge in. While the occasional crowds can be a minor inconvenience, the overall atmosphere, friendly staff, and well-maintained facilities make Skegness Pier a must-visit destination for anyone exploring this charming coastal town. Highly recommended

Not for me. The pier was closed. Theme parks not in operation as it's still not the season. However, the town resembles a mini gold coastish set up. Not for my liking as I'm more of a natural history fan. If anyone fancy a busy, casino, coastal atmosmosphere, you can have a miniature experience in Skegness. Only thing I admired was the view from the small Central park. Few decent fish and chips outlets with value for money. Parking is really cheap with £2 for 6 hours.

Yeah well it's not great. It's a pier in Skegness. In Spring when I went it was far too windy and showery to enjoy it. It might be nice in the summer but it's nothing special. Much nicer piers and much nicer places in general to go on a UK seaside break.

Certainly bracing when I went (45+mph winds and showers!). Great views along the coastline and the town behind and a nice focal point. Parking right up to the pier if you are lucky.
Natureland is a wildlife park which focuses on care and rehabilitation of seals. It also has an aquarium, petting zoo, and tropical butterfly house. The attraction is open daily from 11am to 6:30pm.
Excellent day out! Highly recommend when you’re visiting Skegness! Staff are very informative whilst feeding the seals and you learn a lot from them. Great place that runs on your donations. We weren't sure what to expect, but we loved every minute. The seals at feeding time are funny & it's fun to watch. I called in here with 2 friends, we are all on the wrong side of 60! It was about 2pm and we looked around at the various delightful animals. We went into the gift shop to buy something to support this wonderful place. At 3pm we watched the seals being fed, it is well worth a visit to find out exactly how much it costs to care for each seal and how they rely on customers income.

A great place to visit whilst in Skegness. They rescue and treat the seals then release them back into the wild. They have interactive shows at feeding times where the children get to find out more about baby seals. The range of animals don’t stop there though. They also have crocodiles, reptiles, llamas, chickens, Guinea pigs, a tropical garden with huge beautiful butterflies inside. Tickets are reasonable priced and the proceeds go to a brilliant cause. A must visit if you are in the area.

Beautiful sanctuary and a wonderful demonstration on feeding the seals.
Only complaint was the penguins barely had any water in their section due to something not working and it was an extremely hot day and they were just left hiding in their little box with no water to cool them down.
I think they should have been moved while their little area was broken :(

Really nice little place, we really enjoyed it. My 4 year old loved it too. We timed it well and saw both the adult and baby seals getting fed so that was cool too. Very clean, lovely staff, and a really nice cafe which was cheap and tasty. Highly recommend, can't fault it at all.

Few things were shut due to the time of tue year, but that's okay. There's was still a good amount open. Wasn't too expensive so can't complain. The animals enclosures were clean and tidy. Lots of seals to see and others animals too.

Our second visit and we shall be back. We love to know our entrance fees are going to help care for injured seals and is really making a difference. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and I really recommend listening to the seal talks. Our latest visit did fall on a rainy day and a few of the animals were hiding, include the beautiful goats but who doesn't want to hide in the rain?! This visit takes around 2 hours and is great value for money in addition to knowing the money goes direct to the sanctuary. £30 odd pounds for a family ticket for 4 of us just can't be beaten. Thanks to all involved in running Natureland - you are doing a marvellous Job especially when funds are limited.

A lovely place to learn about seals and the good work the sanctuary does! Loads more than just seals..... aquarium, penguins, goats, reptiles, rabbits etc. Well kept, clean and tidy and excellent value for money

Really nice few hours spent looking around. Alot smaller than I was expecting but great all the same.
Had 2 kids lunch boxes and some other bits from the on site cafe..really good value and nice knowing that all profits go to help the seals and other animal guests..
We stayed for around 3 hours but 2 is about all you would need.

We had a lovely 4 hours with our grandchildren (2 and 5) at the sanctuary. I enjoyed it as much as them. A really good cause too - seeing the new patients looking weak and poorly and those who are due to be released looking lively was a joy. The resident seals (due to their condition) actually seem happy and enjoy meeting visitors. I highly recommend to you if you love animals (whatever your age!!).

Great sanctuary with friendly staff. My boys love it here and I have a lot of family memories visiting here when I was a child. Reasonably priced and plenty to see. You can feed the farm animals for 50p a bag and see the seals get fed at 11:30am. Well worth a visit if your in the area.

Fun place to visit, you can easily spend over an hour even though it's not big. There are a few different animals there, there's a reptile den, aquariums, greenhouse with birds flying around and of course seals. When we visited there was an albino baby seal and if you visit at 3pm (theres one in the morning too, can't remember when) you can witness seals being fed and do tricks. There are also animals like goats and lamas that you can feed. And if you need there's a little cafe where you can get some food and coffee.

Cute seal sanctuary even in February we saw baby seals who had just been rescued ... They also have a small indoor building with fish and another with reptiles. Much better than expected worth a visit. The staff were very friendly and happy to answer any questions

Such a lovely place to visit at the seaside. The rescue seals are adorable but there are other animals to see....penguins, goats, meerkats, bird house, reptile house. And you know the entry fee is going to a good cause. The gift shop is good too

This small but amazing place is a real must have to see in skegness. In February prices were really reasonable and you can also buy goat food for 50p to feed the sheep and goats. The talks they do about the seals and rescued seal pups is great in February the talks are at 11:30am and 3pm. Really sad to know this place does not get any government funding and each seal they recuse and rehabilitate costs them a average of £2,000 and they rely on tickets sales. We definitely will be back 🦭

We arrived here around 11am, quite busy due to the Easter holidays. The lady at reception was very friendly and approachable. It was £27 for 1 adult and 2 children. We got there just as the seals were being fed, with a member of staff giving out information over a mic which was hard to hear. There is a little hut to get hot drinks and ice cream, and a café which serves hot food and lots of seating. We didn't eat in, but it looked nice enough. We walked around to see penguins and sheep (watch out for Henry the sheep, very friendly and liked taking a good chunk out of my coat and bag!) I bought some animal 'feed' which turned out to be just grass! So I was a bit annoyed by that, as it was 50p each. The lady in the gift shop was lovely and helpful though. There were plenty of wash stations after handling the animals. There was a butterfly section, along with a garden of birds. There were alpacas too. A very small aquarium , where my kids said it was probably the smallest in the world! It probably took us around 50 mins to walk around the sanctuary. Some parts were closed off and some things where there was nothing to see. For the price, I personally thought it wasn't worth it. Especially, as we drove over an hour to get there. It's okay if you were passing, or in the area as it is close to the arcades etc. all the money goes to continuing the work for the seals.

We had a great time getting to know more about Seals, Goats and loads more. You must please support these guys as they rescue on average 60 Seals each year which costs around £2,000 per Seal to then return to the sea. It's not Sealife Centre, Ocean world, it's much better
The Seal Sanctuary Wildlife Centre, located near Havens Golden Sands resort, is a haven for injured or orphaned seal pups. In addition to seals, visitors can also encounter meerkats, ring-tailed lemurs, and axolotl salamanders. The center offers the opportunity for kids to participate in a zookeeper for a day experience.
Fantastic sanctuary with caring and knowledgeable staff who are happy to talk about their passion for the animals they care for, definitely recommend going for the feeding times as you get to see the individual characters of the groups. Thanks for a lovely visit.

The Seal Sanctuary Wildlife
Visited this lovely wildlife park with the family (two teenage children) and really enjoyed it. Having read the history before I was ready for a lovely visit. We were not let down. I expected something simpler than what we found. Everything seemed really well cared for and lovely natural looking habitats. It’s amazing to see the work they are doing to help these animals. Thinking about the humble beginnings a lot has been done to get to where they are today. Enclosures are mostly well thought out for viewing opportunities but still look really good for the animals. Labels in general are a little lacking but there are plenty of little stories to read about each individual. Thoroughly enjoyed a few hours at the Sanctuary.

Myself and my family loved it here. was bigger than I expected and lots of animals to see
Loved watching the baby seals with added bonus of all the other animals.
I would definitely recommend and will return again in the future ☺️

Lovely day out! I've been recommended this place many times and never heard anyone say anything bad. I now have to do the same.
This is a amazing day out. Much bigger then expected. Taking a slow walk around and enjoying everything they have took a new hours.
Cheap entry costs and friendly staff. They had a few empty cages but that is good as they are a Sanctuary so the less they have the less seals need help.

Whilst staying in the neighboring Haven campsite we decided to have a walk across the road to the Seal sanctuary.
All I'm going to say is it's most definitely worth the trip,
All though it's only a small sanctuary (in ground coverage) the amount of animals they look after is immense.
On arrival there are two lovely (older) seals in an enclosure before you enter the site both of which are blind, one of which was happily sunbathing as we walked in.
Once inside the park the animals were all out and active and happy to see people walking past there enclosure's.
The small aviary near the cafe holds a varied selection of parrots including what I can only say is a bipolar little green ringneck(could be a different species I'm not into birds) that once you walk close it becomes very vocal and appears friendly then suddenly wants to rip your face off 😅😅
The reptile shed is only small but as you enter the iguana makes itself known with a reptile nod of it's head.
Whilst wandering around the park you walk round corners to be greeted by different animals from different regions all of which are out and active unlike some zoo's I've visited in the past.
I could keep going about how good this park is but I won't,
Don't take my word for it visit the sanctuary yourselves and make up your own mind, All I'm going to say is for the price we paid it was definitely worth it even if it did start to rain whilst we were there

Great little place more to this place with lots for young children to see and do. Lots of learning and educational displays. The cafe is welcoming and the gift shop is good.

Had a really special day here, both seniors and children in our party enjoyed the many animals at the centre. The availability of a kennel for the dog meant we were able to relax knowing the dog was safe and visible (key for the children) The café although busy had lots to offer with standard waiting times and at a reasonable price. The two blind enormous seals on the outside of the centre were the highlight of our visit.

Really lovely place. Nice selection of animals. Parking was free as we were visiting the seal sanctuary which was a nice touch.
Good selection of snacks at the café. A nice way to spend a few hours.

We stopped by before we left mablethorpe after a week holiday. Its an incredibly intimate little centre and that means the people looking after the animals build an extremely close bond with them. You can tell they're loved on a personal level and looked after. They all know their little traits and personalities. Watching the seals be fed was awesome. The lady doing that was wonderful. Upon pulling up we were told we get free parking and the gentleman greeting us was so friendly and lovely. There's adequate parking!
Its small but they've put effort into making it nice and interesting especially all the ice age tunnels and dinosaur tunnels with history from mablethorpe in them.
We stopped by the cafe for a slice of probably the most amazing cake I've ever had, and some water/pop. 3 of us had a drink and a huge slice of cake and the cost was as little as £6! Brilliant value.
Finished off by a wander around the gift shop.

Great , great , great place to visit . Plenty to do and see ! Animal enclosures very good and more than enough info. Would 100% recommend 👌 on site cafe and gift shop . Very reasonable prices and friendly staff. Good for a few hours with the family. All for a good cause. Large car park backing onto the beach

Tickets were half price when we went so two adults and a child £17. Not a bad price and had a couple of hours entertainment including watching the seals being fed. Could have stayed longer but end of November is a little cold! Definitely will go back another time

I came here back in the summer with my 6 month old at the time. It was a lovely day out with plenty for him to look around at and plenty of things for me to see, do and read.
Would be perfect for a family trip out and we can’t wait to return.
The cafe was lovely and every member of staff I encountered were friendly and approachable.
So much more than I thought there would be!

We have been to many zoos, but this is noting remotely to a zoo. It's a really amazing place to see. All the animals we saw were so relaxed and lovely, like they were happy they were living there. This place is a must to visit if you go to Mabletorpe.

I was saddened at the condition of some of the enclosures. Very dirty and not a lot of room. The seals part was filthy. There was a rabbit that looked so sad in a horrible small enclosure that was really muddy and the hutch had seen better days. The monkeys looked bored. Not much to do. There was one who just constantly sat squashed in a corner up against the glass. Looked so unhappy. Everyone was banging the glass (ignorant people) trying to get it to respond. Didn’t see any staff around seeing to the animals.

An excellent day out. Staff were super enthusiastic & helpful, cafe was good & had a great panini.
It's very interesting with quite a diverse selection of animals, reptiles & birds. Seal feeding time was great!
Lots of benches to sit on which was great for my elderly mom with mobility issues. Not too large so even she got to see most things. We were there about 5 hours - some of it spent just relaxing in the sun.
Really fantastic & they do really important work.

Mablethorpe beach is a family-friendly beach located on the east coast of England. The golden sand and pleasant promenade make it a great place to walk or picnic with friends. There are events regularly held at Mablethorpe, including amusement arcades, a fun fair, and donkey rides. When the weather is good, the beach is lovely to walk on with dogs.
Beautiful clean beaches. Dog friendly out of season, I went January 2022. Found the love of my life behind the beach huts 🥰

With a mixture of fine sand and little bit more rocky we went to this beach as a family and we had a brilliant time. There’s a parking lot across the beach and free pool for the kids. Water was pretty warm too (19o C)

Nice dog friendly beach. From, I think March to September, there are restrictions on which part of the beach dogs are allowed on. In the holiday season, if you turn left and walk past the steps, there is a large expansive beach area perfect for giving your dogs a good run.

Visited for two reasons, firstly for my wife to get her seaside fix,and second for us both to watch some beach motorcycle racing.
It was bright and sunny but wind a bit chilly,a great place to visit with mile's of sand to walk in both directions.
Town not massive but friendly with various food snack places.
Overall really enjoyed it

A Great place to walk with family and dogs, we walk from Sutton-on-sea to Mablethorpe. You could go farther if you wanted. When the weather is good it's a lovely walk and the beach is very clean. Our son loves just running up and down the beach on our walks.

Nice clean, quiet blue flag beach. Plenty of shops to buy last-minute beach items and grab an ice cream. Lots of cafes and fish and chip restaurants too. Very family friendly as the sea is a short walk away and access is easy from anywhere along the beach. Parking is plentiful and seems to average £4 per day. There’s a train and bus which takes you to Haven site (or it’s about a 30 mins walk). We had a nice chilled and quiet visit as we stayed during term time (early July). I imagine the beach is busier during school holidays but still a big enough beach for many families a plenty!

An impressive stretch of beach on the Lincolnshire coast.
Big beach, nice and clean, with panoramic views.
Good access from Mablethorpe centre, inc for disabled.
Several public toilets on the seafront.
Queens Park (alongside the seafront) has a paddling pool, crazy golf and other similar visitor attractions for families.
