Playa Blanca is a stunning beach that provides breathtaking panoramic views and numerous options for dining, shopping and entertainment nearby. The beach boasts of pristine clean sand and crystal clear water which makes it perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Snorkelers can observe a diverse selection of fish near the rocks. Additionally, there's another smaller beach located at sea walking street with one shower available.
Nice small beach, it was not crowded at all (in January). The lifeguard warns you if a ferry will make big waves, take it serious, the 2nd would have taken our bags and towels if we don't move. Water is clear.

A smaller beach right when you get to sea walking street. It also has one shower there.
Uros R. — Google review
Lovely clean sand beach with crystal clear water for swimming & snorkeling. A nice selection of fish to see if you snorkel by the rocks
BeReal — Google review
very nice walk at the seafront, wild nature. The day we went there the sea was a bit rough and it was windy, but all beautiful. If you like shopping, this is also a good place. Plenty of restaurant and bars as well.
Dennis Zimmer — Google review
Overall this resort has seen better days. There is a really nice harbour/promenade along the seafront with the former undergoing major building work.
Once you venture up the steps (or ramp) to The tourist area of the town centre, your greeted by many boarded up stores and few which are left, mainly selling the same tat.
This resort has much room for improvement but until then it’s nice but not brilliant. The highlight is definitely the promenade with it little shops and restaurants, access to a little sandy beach and amazing views across to Fuerteventura.

Nice area with plenty to do and as well as eat and drink we visited Playa Blanca for the market and again just to walk around and get some food and have a few drinks

We visited in December 2023. Beautiful sandy beach. Wasn’t busy at all. Sunbeds available at 11€ a day. We kept coming to this beach. There are water facilities to wash off the sticking sand. Restaurants and shops across the road from the beach. Best beaches we visited on our trip.
abdul quader ganjifrockwala (Malakoplakia) — Google review
Small charming beach , plenty of shops and restaurants directly behind , which means you could do some shopping and after ,you could jump straight on to the sand and in to the water 💦. Usually not busy as most people go for bigger beaches in area. Looks especially beautiful if you wait until sundown.

We were supposed to go there for the day but we decided to walk to playa flamingo as it did not look very nice and it's also very rocky

Nice little beach, especially with North wind. It's very funny when ferries arrive at the dock, be careful of your belongings.

This luxurious resort overlooking one of the longest white sand beaches in Fuerteventura is perfect for families. There are 3 outdoor pools, a Mediterranean restaurant and a gym, making it the perfect place to relax after a day at the beach. Kids will love the splash park with water jets and mini clubs, while adults can enjoy peace and quiet at one of the outdoor pools or at the spa.
This place was great, I'm already looking at booking for next year. If you want kids to be entertained, this is the place. They work so hard & give it their all. Even during the day, there is stuff going on for adults, etc. Food was what you expect all inclusive, not great if you're a veggie, but you will get by. Staff are so friendly, rooms cleaned every day. Treat sent to your room if it's your birthday....loved it!!!!

What a great holiday! The room we had on the top floor had great views. The buffet was decent, nothing to shout about, but enough variety to please everyone.
The staff (especially the cleaning staff) are great, very helpful and friendly.
The hotel is halfway up a very steep hill so if you aren't very fit then you will probably only be leaving the hotel once a day. Getting back up to the hotel after some beers is a killer.
Joe Feno — Google review
Brilliant hotel! Absolutely wonderful service and the staff are brilliant. Always willing to offer help, very friendly and extremely hard working! No faults with the hotel. They have two pools, one which was heated and one which wasn't but but both are spacious and vary in depth so there's always somewhere you can stand! The hotel is spotless and the views from some of the rooms are incredible! Can't wait to visit again. The only thing to be wary of is the hill up to the hotel which is very steep, but there is a bus that takes you down once a day which I belive is free but not sure as I didn't use this 😀

Our first trip to this area and we travelled for a 5 dat break to celebrate our anniversary. On arrival we had a lovely welcome from the member of staff on the desk as we checked in. A gift of a free upgrade to a deluxe room as part of our celebration and arrival at our room a free bottle of bubble. This was such a surprise and we were so grateful. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was great. Hotel was very clean, with all amenities on site and great value for money. We loved the touch of a shuttle bus to get you back and forth the beach. The only addition we would of liked was a provision of a tea and coffee tray in our rooms. However, all in all very good. Would recommend the hotel, especially for those with a young family. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Gareth and Lucy Edwards room 435.

I absolutely loved staying here! All the staff members were lovely and friendly. Food was plentiful, and I had no issues with what I ate. Lots of selection. I read comments, saying it got repetitive, but that's the same as any hotel! Just go for a week, and that won't be an issue! The hotel was so clean and tidy. Very big hotel, lots of space! We had no issue getting sunbeds. The pool bar food was also lovely. The beach involves a big walk, up and down a steep hill, but it's definitely worth it! I would definitely go back!

The rooms were nice but our AC didn't work and when we asked about it at the front desk they said they would send someone to fix it...they never came, three different times we asked and they said someone would come but it never happened. We gave up and just delt with a hot room. AC worked great in our other room we booked for our parents though. Grounds were in need of upkeep and maintenance. Roaches were on the walls of the bar in the hotel and in the public bathrooms. Food was alright for the price. Pools were clean and nice. Great gym but not open in hrs that worked for our schedule. None of the kid activities we wanted to do were open during our stay "princess for a day". Mini golf was closed down so we could not do that during our stay either. There were not many things to do at the resort other than swim in their two pools.
Alicia Jobe — Google review
Lovely hotel, multi cultural which is nice, no fighting for sun beds in the morning which is a welcomed bonus. Food good choice in general as well as drinks.
Children’s entertainment staff (under 12’s) were great especially Sara, Marie and Esther a special mention there, Our girls have never done a kids club before but asked to go nearly daily and enjoyed the range of activities on offer.
Staff generally happy and helpful.
Room Cleaning was basic and a little rushed/incomplete especially as the wind was so high our balcony was never cleaned thoroughly enough.
Only shock was 12pm lights out all off, felt like you were being told to go to bed literally.
Water in room would had been a nice touch also.
The hill is very steep so a taxi is recommended.
But In General we had a lovely stay.
Jenny Lawton — Google review
The room looks exactly as described, and very clean, the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and there are a lot of different dishes every time. Hotel is on the hill but it guarantees nice views of the ocean. The walk to the beach is approx 15 min, maybe slightly longer for return. Overall a very good experience!
Maksym Sorokivskyi — Google review
This place is just perfect. We had half board at the hotel. The food menu was varied. The hotel is situated on a hill and we had a beautiful view from the room. Our room was not accessible by elevator, but it wasn't a big problem. The rooms are very cozy and clean, equipped with air conditioning. The bathroom is spacious with a bathtub. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Petra Andresová — Google review
Lovely hotel, although be warned, there is a steep walk from the hotel down to the town or sea... the food was probably the some of the best mass catered food I've ever had.
Only complaint was lack of info telling us that as half boarders we were only entitled to free water and coffee even with our evening meal.
Charlie Hilton — Google review
Myself and my fiance have just spent a week here, absolutely beautiful hotel, the food was varied but always lovely. The room was very spacious and clean. The pools are very clean and plenty of sunbeds so no need to put your towels on 😀 all the staff were lovely and always greeted you with a smile. If you want a relaxing time then it's great, although it is very family/kids friendly so be prepared but there are quiet spots to sit away if you want to. The walk to the beach is on a downhill slope but a free bus runs if you don't want to walk. A taxi back was great for us and only 5 euros! No nightlife nearby but there is entertainment a few times and always stuff for the kids. All in all we really enjoyed it and recommend it.
Andrea Davies — Google review
Nice hotel, a little tired looking but clean and tidy. Food was average. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Had a wonderful week in the autumn sun!
Jamie Cohen — Google review
Lovely hotel. I read bad reviews about the food before we went but we had no issues. The food area is huge so walk around before you start piling your plate! The fresh fish is great and there's meat, fish or desserts cooked fresh to order at dinner.
If you've got boring English kiddos then there's pasta, pizza, fries, nuggets and cucumber every day.
Wine glases on tables and you're encouraged as all inclusive to bring those bottles to your table
I often go meat free on holiday and have lifetime vegans in my family unit. Their salad/pasta/ rice options weren't as good as some hotels, but equally nothing to complain about.
Overall, if you want to relax, eat and drink then I totally recommend 👌
Jane Whitehouse — Google review
Lovely hotel, great if you are fit as a fiddle. Lots of steps to climb to get to your room as lifts only go half way, then you have to climb, climb, climb. Food is of a good standard and plentiful but as with all inclusive deals it gets a bit monotonous after a few days as there seems to be a lot of repeat dishes and an awful lot of fish dishes. That said, there was always something on the menu to suit and I never went hungry. Our rooms were spacious and very clean. I was disappointed that there was no kettle to make a drink but the hotel was very accommodating and provided one immediately when we asked for one. The staff were fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble and their smiles were genuine and on their faces all day and night. They provided a first class service and made our stay perfect.
Beverley Gilligan — Google review
The hotel does not look like 4* hotel.
Actually it is really outdated and in a huge need of renovation.
Reception staff are very nice only during checking in.
The approach is totally different when you need something or you have a problem.
We had a problem with our bathroom when the water wouldn’t go down the toilet and also water was coming up the bath tub waste.
Both the bathroom and the bedroom was filled with a horrible waste stink.
We reported this to the reception 3 times over 2 days (2 times in person and 1 time over the phone)
It was logged only once and with ‘problem with toilet’ only - which the manager used as an explanation.
We were fobbed off and heard lies that somebody will come over to fix.
The only thing that worked was us denying to go back to that room with our kids.
Treating your clients like that is just unacceptable!!!
The dining area is very busy and messy at peak times (although the staff are very nice).
Simply not ready to accommodate the people in the hotel.
We will not come back to this place. Our advice - Best to stay away.

We have just come back from an Easter break. Although the rooms are a bit dated, they are lovely, spacious and clean. The food was excellent. Meat & fish stations, pasta, pizza, paella, fresh bread, smoothies, fruit and lovely salads. Also a nice desert station and a separate kids buffet which my son loved. The in house entertainment was average at best, I honestly expected more. There was a Tina Turner tribute act who was excellent though.
The onsite water park is brilliant. Lovely and clean and so much fun. The heated pool is excellent, especially as the weather was chilly for a couple of days.
The one thing I was disappointed with was when checking out. My 3 year old son had been poorly for a couple of days and was much worse on the last day. The onsite doctor arrived at 11am so I took him down. I then had to travel via a taxi to a pharmacy to pick up his prescription. It meant I was late checking out of the room by 40 minutes. I explained the situation to the receptionist but she insisted I had to pay 22 euros for the late check out.

Nice place for a holiday. The hotel as a whole was maintained very well. Staff were friendly, and there were plenty of sunbeds around the pool. Our rooms were sea view rooms. However, there was another hotel complex in front of this hotel blocking most of the sea. Rooms were very dated and needed to be upgraded. Walk to the beach is pleasant. However, the walk back is very uphill.

We stayed here for 5 days at the end of January. The staff, location and food were excellent. The pools are really clean and there's plenty of space and sunbeds. Very good selection of food at the restaurant, with lots of seafood. Big variety of drinks and exceptional view from the hotel. The beach is a 10 minute walk. We loved our stay here 😊
Christina Atanasova — Google review
Firstly, you might think too far from airport but you'll be mistaken; it goes like the breeze. Our initial welcome set the tone, and our holiday began. Room was very spacious overlooking the resort with a view to the beach. What was very noticeable throughout the resort, especially our room, was the general cleanliness (A+ to our room attendant). Credit to the Food & Beverage team. The food was great, and the theme changed daily, and it had flavour, yes, distinguishable flavour. My hat goes off to Restaurant team for keeping it professional when the footfall increased but managed to service everyone, thank you! Bonus, beach on the doorstep (delight) with multiple shops nearby. The water park was a good addition too. Special thanks for my wife's birthday treat, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, good resort for families and couples alike.

What an amazing holiday we had!! Beautiful beach near by , delicious food and new water park with free access. Also this hotel has the best animator team❤️ So friendly, funny and full of energy young people. Girls absolutely loved them! Thank you so much to Jessica from Portugal, Jon from Netherlands, Ruben and IB. Without you wouldn't be the same holiday . We are hoping to see you all next year!
Thank you again to everyone who made our memories so precious 😍

Morro Jable, located on the southern coast of Fuerteventura in Spain's Canary Islands, is renowned for its stunning beaches. One notable beach is Playa del Matorral, which features the Morro Jable Lighthouse and a fascinating sperm whale skeleton. Another highlight is the Morro Jable Wharf, where the Turtle Nursery provides a safe haven for loggerhead turtles before their release into the wild.

Best stops along Teguise to Santa Cruz de Tenerife drive
The top stops along the way from Teguise to Santa Cruz de Tenerife (with short detours) are Timanfaya National Park, Las Canteras Beach, and Palmitos Park. Other popular stops include Parque Natural de Corralejo, Oasis Wildlife Fuerteventura, and Rancho Texas Lanzarote park.
If you're looking for a day out that includes some water fun, Lanzarote's Rancho Texas is the perfect destination. With animal shows, swimming with sea lions, and more, this park has something for everyone. Be sure to book in advance as spots are limited.
A very beautiful zoo!
Yes, we (two adults + baby) paid 60€ + 30€ for photos with dolphins. Considering that the transfer was included, this is a fair price.
BUT: the zoo was absolutely clean and well maintained. It is very manageable in size and not huge. 10000 steps we still managed.
The shows were great and very informative. The animals also seemed to enjoy the shows. Even if the price seems high for one or the other, we were very happy to pay it! The photo with the dolphins was an absolute highlight!
This is not self-evident, you read another rating for an Ozeanium from me ;)
The water park was "nice" to look at, because unfortunately too cold. All in all, it was still a wonderful day trip for us as a family, which we can only recommend!
Very important to take the shows;)
Marek D. — Google review
Amazing day out for the whole family you must take in the shows these are very information educational and fun. All the animals seem to enjoy the attention as much as we enjoyed watching them. For a small zoo the animals have lots of room and seem very well cared for.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
And the food was great to. You can choose from a sit down meal that we did or take away style.
Please do cover up sunscreen and take a hat as it was very hot and some areas there is little shade.
Approx 15'000 steps to see everything. And bring swimming trunks for a dunk in the swimming pools with kids water slides at the end.

Such an amazing zoo/experience. The enclosures are fantastic and huge. Excellent value for money and the shows are fantastic. Make sure to visit early in the day so that you don’t miss any of the shows as they are only on twice a day.
Mark Pitts — Google review
Super nice activity for everyone, the animals are well kept and they seem healthy. It is absolutely worth the price, especially for the dolphins show and sea lion exhibition. The thing I appreciated most was that both during the show and in the park there were always reminders about how we should be more responsible for the environment. I absolutely suggest it!
Maria Funghini — Google review
Went on a Monday in May with two kids 4 and under 2. Both had a lovely time and so did the adults. Worth a visit even without kids. There is a bit of walking but attractions are around every corner so both kids visited all animals fully on foot. The food in the restaurant by the pool was good too and very reasonably priced. Typical pool side bar menu with pizzas, sandwiches and chips with burgers etc.
Anna O'Reilly — Google review
Booked the bus through the hotel, which was due at 9.45. However, through the first bus not showing up and the second being full, we get there late (11.30). We booked the 'Dolphin Experience' for all 4 of us (€150 each), which turned out to be waiting in turns in a group of about 20, to get 3 pictures with a dolphin. So really should be called "3 pictures and a rub of a dolphin".
Once that was finished, we had time to grab a bite to eat and see the 3 other experiences (Birds of Prey, Sea Lions and Parrots) which left no time for the kids to get use out of the water park. The shows are good and the staff do great work keeping the animals. The food was quick and the salads were actually really good (burgers and pizza were also on offer).
If you have children, the water park would be great fun for them. Getting a picture taken with the dolphin separately would be much better value for money than the 'experience'.
If I had the time again, I would go but made sure I got there earlier, saved ~£600 and not done the 'experience' (which I have to print out the pictures myself when they are emailed to me) and made better use of the water park. Good luck folks.

Rancho Texas was only a couple min drive from our hotel and it’s a lovely little place. We spent most of the day looking at the animals. Including the afternoon dolphin interaction. This costs €150 each plus your park tickets. Lasted about 45 mins got lots of amazing photos.
We then spent afternoon at the water slides. They were good and my 6 years liked the big slides and the big pool was a salt water which was different.
We then went back later in the week and done the ranch night which was lots of fun shouting yeah ha every time we wanted a drink. All drink and food was included and worth the 50 euros a person. Great business and should be proud of everything you deliver
Chris Matthews — Google review
We arrived around 10.30 and bought tickets on site, hardly any wait.
Animals seemed well looked after and the park was clean and spacious.
We armrest in the restaurant which seemed to be the same price and menu as the take away next door. Reasonably priced!
We saw the animals and the shows first and then went to the water park about 3.30. Theres only a few slides- slide, ring slide, slide with bowl. Good fun. The park closed at 5.30 but slides closed at 5pm, although we stayed in the pools until 5.15.
Locker keys can be obtained from the small shop by the lockers. 8 euros for a key and 5 euros returned when key is handed back. The shop shut at 5pm too.
Plenty of parking. Shaded areas throughout the park but the dolphin and eagle shows were in the sun.

Amazing day out for...anyone, really! The zoo itself is really easy to navigate, and the animal enclosures are very spacious and clean. They seem well cared for and the staff seem to love their job too. Definitely bring sun cream and maybe a hat as there is little shade. The zoo offers different animal shows (sea lions, dolphins, parrots, and birds of prey). I can't comment on the parrot show as we didn't see it, but the sea lions and dolphins were very fun and enjoyable, and the birds of prey show was a personal highlight of the day for me! They have a restaurant too but I can't comment on that either as we didn't eat there - from what I've read though, you can choose to either sit in and eat or take away/fast food option. One last thing I'd like to add is that I took a lot of photos on the day, over 500 😂🙈 so enjoy some of them if you will 📷😁 not all of them of course, I'll narrow it down for you 😉

Rancho Texas Lanzarote is a fantastic destination for animal lovers and families seeking a fun-filled day out. The park offers a unique blend of a zoo and a water park, making it an excellent choice for those who want to experience both.
One of the standout features of Rancho Texas Lanzarote is the variety of animal shows. The Dolphin Show is a must-see, allowing visitors to witness these friendly creatures up close and even interact with them through the Interaction with Dolphins experience. The Sea Lion Show is another highlight, offering the chance to get close to these playful marine mammals and even swim with them. Additionally, the Birds of Prey Show features impressive birds such as eagles, falcons, and vultures, while the Parrot Show showcases the wit and brilliance of parrots and cockatoos.
For those who prefer water activities, the park's Water Ranch (Corral del Agua) is a great alternative. It features a splash zone, swimming pools, and two twisting slides, providing a refreshing break from the animal encounters. The park also has a restaurant and bar where visitors can recharge with sumptuous food and refreshing drinks.
Rancho Texas Lanzarote is open daily from 9:30 to 17:30, and visitors can purchase tickets online to avoid long waits at the gate. The park is well-maintained, with friendly and helpful staff, and the food is affordable and tasty.
In summary, Rancho Texas Lanzarote is an excellent destination for families and animal lovers. With its diverse range of animal shows, water park attractions, and well-maintained facilities, it offers an unforgettable day out.

At first I thought 30€ is a lot for the ticket but at the end of the day I realized it's totally worth it. It's definitely a full day visit ! You take a walk around the zoo, definitely visit all of the animal shows they offer, the dolphins and sea lions were exceptionally good. And once you're done with that, grab some food at the restaurant (reasonable prices) and go to the pool. I found it pretty funny that a "zoo" has a water park but it was fun. You can get a key to the lockers at the souvenir shop for 2€, there is plenty of chair where you can lay down.. so don't forget your swimwear and have a lovely day!

I visited Park with my family in June. I booked on the webside with free bus from hotel, bus should be at 9.30 but it didn't come after 10 and then we had to wait around 15 min at the entrance of the park.We had nice day out, it wasn't too crowded during a week. It was few shows during a day, dolphins, parrots, sea lions and and birds of prey. All very good but I recommend to have suncream and hat as there is no shadow anywhere you seat and watch except parrots show. There was a restaurant on the side, typical fast foods but tasty. Park isn't that big, you can see all animals in short time but also have mini water park with two slides, splash park and pool with sun lounges. They are lockers up there if u need to use them.
Monika Jarosinska — Google review
It is lovely park. Plenty of things to do. Many species of animals to see. So many trees and plants make experience even much better. We loved dolphins' show. They were adorable. There are other shows in a park. Just check a time when it starts (times are on a map you get). The Aqua park area is a good bonus. Just to chill and have fun after walking all around the park. The only problem is that there are not enough lockers to keep your stuff (plenty of space to put extra lockers). So we had to cary our belongings with us in the Aqua Park area (good idea to secure locker right away you get to the park). Otherwise, those two slides were fun. Good assortment of fast food and prices are reasonable. Park has its own buses to bring people to the park (that service is free). Overall, it was fun and we had a lovely time there. Thank you!

We recently came here on our family holiday to Lanzarote and booked a trip here through our hotel with Jet2.
We got picked up and brought back Ont he coach and what a great day it was!
Our 5 and 6 year old absolved it! The zoo animals, the parrot, seal and dolphin shows were all incredible!
We then spent the rest of the day at the water park making the most of the kids area and water slides, then had lunch at one of the restaurants there.
Fully enjoyable day and would highly recommend to anyone to go!

A great day out! We all enjoyed all the animal shows - they are very well thought out and perfectly executed. The water park section is also brilliant - we've spent hours on the slides. As an added extra, the restaurant has *very* reasonable prices and their waiters have impeccable English!
Lots of shady areas in the park so you hide away from the sun if it's getting a bit too hot.

We went at the end of November, was nice and quiet so easily could see everything! Absolutely beautiful park and worth a visit!
We paid extra to swim with the SeaLions and would recommend it to anybody going there, it was well worth and more for the money you pay

Great experience, would definitely recommend for a day out. You get to go around an amazing zoo with animals that are really well looked after and cared for, get the opportunity to watch the shows and even then you can relax pool side and finish the day in the sun.

Highly recommend the sea lion experience!
So much better than expected, loads of different types of interactions and you are given so many lovely photos digitally.
They provide you with wet suits, shoes, lockers, changing rooms and a hot shower.

A memory we will never forget. We went 10th March and weather was 25c ☀️
The rest of the zoo is beautiful the only disappointment was we had a photo with the a dolphin but we were only able to buy printed not digital (which for us would get lost in a draw), which is a shame as we would of happily paid €15 each if digital but they said No.

There were 4 shows, the only one we didn't see was the parrots (due to timings and finding our way round). The shows were amazing and going to the dolphin show, there was information over how the island was formed. There were so many different and beautiful animals here.
The water park area was nicely set out and my kids loved the slides. The only issue with the water park is that when we used the water slides, we passed our rings to the next people to use, but when we waited for our turn, no-one handed any rings over so waited around 10 minutes before someone shared the rings for us to take the kids back up to have a turn. There needs to be someone there making sure everyone takes turns or supply more rings to use the water slides.

This is a must see for all ages. The dolphin show alone is worth the visit. The bird show was also fantastic. Wheelchair accessible but some hills are a bit steep. Would recommend having a mobility scooter some rental places will drop it there and collect for 35 euro.
There is a restaurant and a few vending machines but cash only not the card reader machines.

Beautiful place to visit. Plenty of restaurants and restrooms. Drinks machine throughout the park. There is a water park for the kids with loungers around for the adults. Changing rooms and lockers are also available. There are more loungers to relax on further down for those who don’t have children with them. Animals look happy and clean and very well looked after. Staff are very friendly. The whole ranch is very clean and well maintained. The food is very good priced too. The walk ways are very wide and lots of shade from all the trees. It’s just a beautiful place to visit. Those who struggle with mobility may struggle as there is a lot of area that is a little steep.

This is a must to visit if you are in Lanzarote. The enclosures were nice and big and the whole park was clean and tidy. So many animals to see and definitely make time to see all the shows. Would definitely visit again when I go back to Lanzarote.

Submarine Safaris Lanzarote offers a unique and unforgettable experience for visitors to the island. With only 15 commercial submarine trips in the world, this underwater adventure allows you to explore the hidden treasures beneath Lanzarote's beaches. Boarding a yellow submarine, you'll descend to depths of 30 meters, passing by shipwrecks and encountering an array of marine life.
Super fun for all the family. Really well run with great safety and cleanliness of the highest standard. Staff are friendly and great with the kids. You get to see some sunken boats and loads of colourful fishes and some Sting-Rays. Make sure you wear shorts and a t-shirt as it is really warm. The Captains were great to take pictures with all the kids (photos attached). All in all super day out.

What a fantastic experience! If you are in Lanzarote, I would strongly suggest trying this experience.
It is really well organised, and they collect people from their hotels to take them to Puerto Calero.
The tour takes about 25 minutes, and the submarine goes down to around 30 meters. They explain the variety of the sea life that we find along the way, and you do get to see a lot.
Along the way we pass by a couple of sunken ships, which makes it a bit more interesting.
We did see a school of barracudas, which was cool, and a few small sharks. Do try it.

A Great experience. This is a must for anyone wanting to do this for the first time. Me and my partner did this on Monday and loved it. The team was great and we was looked after us well from picking up from our hotel and dropping us off.

This was one of our favourite parts of our holiday. We turned up at our pre allocated time and signed in. We were then taken through a 5 minute safety video before being walked to the end of the marina where the yellow Submarine was. We boarded and had a picture taken before entering the submarine. From there we were towed out to sea and dived to a depth of 30 metres. The sea life was amazing and went past some shipwrecks before turning round and coming back. A really good experience and value for money.

Enjoyed the trip, a little pricey though. €59 for an adult is quite alot to pay. The hour includes boarding, where they take photos of every passenger /group, the ride and disembarking. You get a certificate but the cost of the photo is another €8. Cost of refreshments in the shop is steep too.
The guide on the sub was good and we saw quite a few fish and the wrecks. Not something I'd pay to do again though.
Deb — Google review
Perfect for tourists.
I saw only one type of fish that are fed to follow the boat. There are old ship parts on the bottom of the ocean. It is ok to go there for the first time, it will be interesting for kids. As for the price it is too expensive for such type of ”safari”. Guy at the office was absolutely not friendly.
Remember to book in advance (24hours) through the site.
Next to the office there is a toilet (otside to the left) and a shower. If you will need to wait for safari - check out italian cafe nearby.

Great day out, my son loved it. Nice little area for a drink after too. Also the company went out their way to get my sons drinking cup back to him.
Millwall Darren — Google review
I had a fantastic time and the experience exceeded my expectation - for the price of the trip.
The overall journey was an hour. I just wish the time we spent looking at the fish could have been a bit longer. The submarine took a while to get down to 30m below sea level and to the site of the shipwreck(where all the fish are), but it then turned around and took us back immediately. I would have liked for it to stay there for, say, 15mins more?
I also wish they had let us choose our seats in the submarine. I wanted to sit at the front but was lead to the back and gestures to a particular seat, as I understand they wanted people to board quickly and get on with the trip.
All in all, I would recommend this to anyone who wants a slightly more unusual adventure.

Excellent. The whole excursion was excellent. Both pick up and drop off were prompt and fast. We were brought to the offices and given a safety demo and a chance to get some souvenir shopping done. Even time for a quick drink, it was very warm that day. We boarded the sub and straight away I was surprised with how bright, spacious and airy it was on board. Our guide on board was excellent with lots of species of fish being pointed out along with wrecks and other surprises along the way. Our whole family loved the experience. Nice souvenir photograph taken as you board the sub and they were priced very reasonably. Cannot recommend this enough to anyone. 5 stars all the way.

I recommend An amazing experience. The staff is very nice.
A shuttle is possible.
The team is very concerned with security. First 10 min as remembering how to breath and what to avoid. It's very important to be all ears. And for only 25 euros you can have all your photos and videos. Enjoy... and big up to Submarine Safaris Lanzarote.

Please don't hesitate to book. I thoroughly enjoyed myself on this unique and informative trip. It's a seamless process from booking through to getting you back to your hotel. The bus will collect you (be sure to tick yes on the booking page for the bus) from your hotel and take you to the harbour where the submarine is. You are greeted by friendly staff who explain there is time to use the toilet and browse the gift shop before a brief safety video is played. You are taken to the sub and separated into two groups to board fore and aft with your picture taken before you go down in the sub. Seats are perfect with a port hole and audio commentary. Make use of this because it answered so many questions I had. Back on the surface, you have the option to view and purchase the photo back in the shop. The bus arrives and takes you back to your hotel. Overall, it was a really tranquil and moving experience, very unique and a core memory.

Great experience for kids and adults. Before the diving they explain to the crowd how the submarine works and what you could see during the trip. The submarine goes about 30 meters deep and few hundreds meter offshore escorted by another boat. When you’ll reach the bottom there will be a sunk ship full of marine life. It’s great to see all those fishes following the submarine, tempted from the food the crew will give to them. The inside is quite claustrophobic also considering the fact that there are about 30 people on board. Each person get his own seat by the portholes so there is no moving around or standing up -consider this if you bring your kids- The activity is pretty enjoyable and last about 1h. Buy tickets in advance, it should be cheaper.
Stefano — Google review
Great experience for all ages. We saw a lot of marine life. Everyone gets a set of earphones to listen about what is happening with the submarine or about the life in the ocean. Before the diving they explain to the crowd how the submarine works and what you could see during the trip. It’s hot inside and around 30 other people with you and everyone gets their own seat. The inside is quite claustrophobic also considering the fact that there are about 30 people on board. There is a free parking around 3 minutes from their office and also free toilets. We didn’t use the transfer provided. Overall it was a very positive experience.

The submarine was spacious and you could easily see, please it came back the same way so neither side missed out.
Would highly recommend!

This is a 'must-do' when you are on Lanzarote. A fascinating experience, one for all ages.
The trip includes a bus collection from your hotel or local meeting point. You are transported to the harbour in Puerto Calero, where the submarine is housed. One of only 13 public access submarines globally, you get an introductory safety course for a few minutes, and then everyone boards the sub.
There are no facilities for anyone unable to walk, as you need to be able to climb down a ladder into the sub.
There are 2 staff and approx 30 guests. You get a seat with a large window and fantastic views outside the sub.
The sub leaves the harbour, dives to 30m (100 ft), and passes 3 shipwrecks en route. The journey takes approx an hour in total.
There are genuinely thousands of fish of varying sizes to be seen, some even before you leave the harbour.
With plenty of photo ops, this is sure to entertain you and any kids you might have with you.
Definitely worth doing, a morning trip you won't regret.

Superb scenery ... it feels like you're on a different planet. I loved how they cooked the meat for the restaurant and the water demonstration. We've arrived early at 9 am. Otherwise, we would have stayed in the queue for quite a long time. Don't miss the information centre ...

Amazing! The scenery is breathtaking and dramatic. We had hired a car, so were able to drive round the National Park unhindered. Lots of good roads, but also tracks that allow you to see so much for free.

Great place to visit, I recommend a guided tour as a bus gives a greater vantage point.
The demonstration on steam and fire is awesome. It gets very busy so an early start is recommended. Think about sensible footwear too the ground can be hot. You can get coffee and cake in the cafe. The guided tours can tell you about the history

I just drove through the park, there was a visitor centre and camel rides along the way….I didn’t do any of that. But the drive was beautiful, lovely mountain landscapes and the volcanic rock on all roadsides are worth seeing. The roads are good and well marked.

Wonderful! Do it, you won't regret it. Food is lovely & they dish out lots of wine & drinks for kids too. Beautiful views. Only warning I will give is TAKE HEADPHONES if you're getting the guided coach tour incase you get what we had tonight. Both have splitting heads & had to take tablets & lie down from being subjected to the worst "music" I've ever heard. Thought the coach was dragging metal along under us but it was playing on the speaker!!! Then a gap & a random loud dong & more screeching. Pure garbage. Pink Floyd I'm sure he said but honestly no beat or tune so 🤷 noise then yeah??? Loud awful random noise spoiling the views.
If you want to play anything up a Volcano play Lava or something for the love of God!!! Don't torture folk with blasting odd sounds at them. My forehead is throbbing so I'm coming off here. Definitely worth doing just remember to pack 👌

Amazing natural park that allows you to see the effects of the eruptions that happened at the beginning of the 18th century.
The tours will take place in a bus. Its recommended to come early in the morning as the parking areas get easily full.
You will need to pay for the entrance.

An enjoyable trip but very very long queues.
Staff are friendly but it feels so chaotic and made us want to leave as soon as we’d finished the main bus tour. I’d return but only during a quieter period where we didn’t have to queue for an hour just to get into the car park!

The entire place is so beautiful.
You will see volcanic rock as well.
I would recommend to visit the place.

A trip through the volcanic national park is memorable, unique and obligatory.
Taking the bus for an on-rails experience had the benefit of bypassing a lot of the queues so I would highly recommend taking one if there is an option.
Although the scenery is breathtaking, there were many more "fun" things to experience on the island and even on pre-booked tours the whole experience is packed with tourists being herded through the whole time.

Very interesting to find out about the origins of the island. Such a shame that you’re not able to explore by foot but the free coach journey is quite good. It was very busy with a lengthy wait so go very early in the day or late afternoon to avoid a long wait/queue.

This place is surreal, straight out of science fiction. The land is like mars!
The national park entry includes a bus ride with a detailed audio guide. Also at the end of the tour they give a nice demonstration of geysers.

If you love the volcanic landscape this is a must. Unfortunately not too many places to discover on your own or by foot, but even driving around and just enjoying the scenery is mesmerizing. We visited the visitor center by bus, so we skipped the lines. Nice attractions, to see that just below few meters underground it is still hot and active, just wow.

Amazing area, very easy to imagine what it was like millions of years ago when the island was being formed. Bus trip round the volcanoes was worth seeing (part of the price).

Amazing place. Incredible scenery. Feeling the heat, seeing the effects of the magma and eating food which had been cooked using that heat was a truly memorable experience. The restaurant has beautiful views - we were there at sunset. Was very busy - 3 coaches - but plenty of food!
Charco Verde, also known as Lago Verde or the Green Lagoon, is a natural wonder located in the small fishing village of El Golfo in southern Lanzarote. The lagoon's waters have a distinctive green color caused by phytoplankton and various minerals and microorganisms. Surrounded by ebony cliffs and the ocean, it offers a unique sight with sunbeams glistening on its olive green surface.
For finding this place, enter "Charco de Los Clicos" into the Navigation. ;) Besides from that, it is easy to reach with a car, has free entrance and free parking. There is a small trail 10 Minutes to walk to the viewing point (also good for older people: my mother is 70 J. old and not good on feet). There is also a trail below directly next to Altantic Ocean where you can get closer to the Green Lake. Those who want to do hiking also can walk straight to Los Hervideros (about 1.5 h). Recommendable.

Ok place to stop off great views of the sea and big waves. Green lake
Few cafe's and restaurants

It's a nice view, but you can see green water/lakes/ponds anywhere in the world so not sure it's worth a detour.
Michal Sekera — Google review
It's nature, not so sure how you can rate it by stars. Finding this place is obnoxious on my Google maps, I kept having glitches and bringing me to Green Lake Jr. For parking, just type in Siroco Coffee Shop and go there. They have a large parking lot and it is just a few minutes walk up a pathway to view the green lake. Alternatively, you can just head to El Golfo, find parking anywhere there and walk to the lake viewing area.
Marcella Leeper — Google review
What a special place to see! It's only a short walk from the parking area in El Golfo and definitely worth it. Only negative is that you can't get closer to the lake but the reasoning is understandable.
Tatiana Ďuriančiková — Google review
Stunning views of seashore, the lake and the surrounding hills. Come early, as it can get quite crowded here. Free parking. If it's full, just continue to the village; also lots of parking space there.

The green pool by the black sand and open ocean makes for a pretty stunning sight. Unfortunately, you are not allowed down to the pool so the best place to go is the viewing point overlooking the area. The town right by it is also very picturesque. What's even better is that it's a five minute drive from Los Hervideros, a beautiful show of nature combining volcanic rock, sea caves, and dramatic wave breaks against the rocks.

Wicked place to see, it's interesting to know how this phenomenon happens. Worth to see and it's free
Los Hervideros is a stunning and unique geological attraction located on the west coast of Lanzarote. It features a rugged volcanic coastline with sea caves, rocks, and lava tubes that were formed during the 18th-century eruptions of Timanfaya volcanoes. The area offers picturesque views of waves crashing into the caves, creating an extraordinary sight. Visitors can enjoy various food and drink options while taking in the beautiful scenery al fresco style.
Lovely short walking trail with beautiful views of the sea and caves, free access, lots of parking. Well worth a visit, great views at sunset.
Take care on the rocky trails as can be very uneven underfoot and some of the drops unto the water do not have secure boundaries. No bathrooms nearby.

We enjoyed the forceful sound of clear, blue green Atlantic Ocean waves hitting the caves and the light orange mountains-dormant volcanoes as background. Care in negotiating the path and steps to viewing spots is a must because the lava everywhere is coarse and hard.

Fantastic place. You have to drive here, although probably accessible from a hike. Seems like they are busy making this a tourist area as it's not properly open to the public, some fences and evidence of them building a car park etc. However, you can still visit. Fantastic views of volcanic caves in the water and views back into land of what could be Mars. Fantastic place but you must take care as it is fairly remote with lots of dangerous drops etc. Stick to the paths and you'll be fine!

The volcanic caves in the sea are absolutely stunning. The park car is only a short walk from the amazing views. There are several walkways which are quite wheelchair friendly. You can reach very precarious viewing areas close to the water. A Good way for children

Great free touristy site. No facilities at all but free parking and lots of little pathways to crawl between the lava rocks to get to unique views of the waves crashing against the lava cliffs. Spectacular when the seas are rough! Make the effort to go down the little pathways and watch the show!

Lovely place for tourists and is very scenic and beautiful. Might be a bit boring for kids though. I would definitely recommend having a quick visit here because it is definitely worth it. On a busy day it might be difficult to park because they are currently doing road works in that area.

I really love areas of natural beauty and interest and Los Hervideros ticked all those boxes for me. It was a lovely coastal drive to arrive there and it was a windy day so the blow holes were very spectacular. The area has been nicely laid out for people to visit with small walkways and steps. It's still quite rough and natural underfoot , so take sturdy shoes! It was one of the quieter attractions that we visited in Lanzarote, so that made the visit even more worthwhile

Beautiful lagoon chacterised by the green rock formations underneath giving its grean colour (no its not algae). Its cordoned off to stop people taking the rock now but you can view from the viewing point above or walk down to the beach and walk up to the fence.
Worth the visit to see the view from above and then walk down to the black beach below

Be aware that the road from the south is closed long term but it is accessible from the north.

Beautiful landscapes, you can't believe how these landscapes were formed after the volcanic eruption. Only rock everywhere....and ocean :)

Beautiful place to visit, water hitting the cliffs creates nice splashes. There is a path with several natural "windows" from where you can watch the scenery down below. Only downside is that it is quite short, it takes no more than 20-30 minutes to walk it all with slow pace.
Parking is right next to it and at the time of our visit (09/2023), google shows the parking spot as closed, but it is possible to park there next to the road and due to the roadwork, which starts right where the parking is, there aren't any cars comming from the other direction.

Lobos Island, a protected islet located just a short boat ride from Corralejo in the northern resort region, is home to a diverse range of plants and animals. With its 19th-century lighthouse, this island offers visitors an incredible opportunity to reconnect with nature. The landscape here is rugged and breathtaking, surrounded by crystal-clear waters that are teeming with marine life.
Is this small island worth visiting? If you have more time and are looking for something else, buy a speed boat cruise. It is only 15 minutes from Corralejo (2 km) and you will be on a moon island. Raw landscape, no roads with paths only, no inhabitants. The highest point of the Caldera de la Montaña (127m), 14 km of coastline and lots of lagoons and absolute peace. In a few hours you can get around the island and meet no more than a few people. I suggest spending a minimum of 4 hours here to explore the island a bit. Personally, I must say that the landscape of this island made a great impression on me. There is something magical here ... starting with the silence of the rocks that dominate every step...

Stunning island with amazing scenery and a really nice walk. You do have book in advance to get the boat to the island as I believe there is a daily capacity on how many visitors the island can have. Be sure to take comfortable footwear and plenty of water and snacks. Make sure to use the bins located around the walking path for any trash :)

A must visit if staying in Fuerteventura. The island is a short hop on either a cheap (and fast) water taxi or a bigger less thrilling boat, available to book at vendors near the docks or in town centres.
The island is small and features a lovely beach, a volcano you can walk up, some exquisite little bays with gorgeous views and lots of rocky trails to explore.
Make sure to book enough time as it really flies by once you’re there, and although there is a cafe on the island, make sure to take snacks and drinks as walking through the rocky trails can get very warm.
The beach has shallow water and is great for little snorkelers (and big ones)
One word of warning, if you are planning to travel on the small water taxi speed boats, you do not get provided with a life jacket. Not really an issue for swimmers, but both my kids are young non swimmers so if the boat hit a big wave (it gets very choppy) and flipped, they would be in big trouble. The driver made sure to go slower on the way over due to our small children, but as we stuck armbands on them for the return trip, they opened the throttle and rode the waves. The kids loved the thrill ride and it made the perfect exciting end to our holiday. :)

Took the 10:00am boat and came back on the 2:20pm one. 4 hours were well enough to walk the entire island and hike up the mountain, we even could chill on the beach a little. Turquoise water on one side and mars landscape on the other. If you are in Fuerteventura I would recommend doing it.

Wonderful island near Corralejo, Fuerteventura. Accessible by boat with a range of competitors providing options from little speed boats through to larger craft costing around €16 for a day return trip.
You can walk around the whole island on a circular route in 2-2.5 hours which we found well worth it to sample the fascinating range of landscapes on the island.
The volcano Montana La Caldera to the west of the island is well worth the climb although it can be busy with tourists.
There is a nice beach (Playa de la Concha) 10-15 minutes from the port. We went there to relax after our long walk until our return boat.
There are no real facilities on the island so make sure you bring food and drink. There is also limited opportunities for shade.
Very nice place to visit though and highly recommended.
Nick Hill — Google review
We took the speedboat over. If you're not into thrills please try one of the ferries. It cost about €50 for a family of 5
Do check tides before going especially if you wish to snorkel. We arrived at low tide so it was a bit of a wait.
There's absolutely no shelter, so you need umbrellas, protective clothing and plenty of suncream. The umbrellas need to be secured so do keep this in mind.
I froze drinking water the night before so it stayed cool for a while. Took a picnic lunch so can't comment on the eating facilities.
We went to the lagoon side and stayed there
We arranged a pickup time so you already know how long you'll be there. 3 -4 hours is enough unless you're hiking or exploring other parts of the island.
This is not really a viable option with younger children.
A lovely day out but very hot so be careful of sunburn etc.
Melinda Barthel (NotJustAMum) — Google review
You can spend 3 hours here…. But you don’tneed to go to Lobos island to see black stones and mountains. Fuerteventura give you that in many other places in the island.
Good to know : the toilets are closed at 3:30 PM. Good luck if you need it! Enjoy the nature!

Amazing trip there with Ferry Isla de los Lobos. We bought the ticket that included the snorkel stop and mini cruise for €25 p/person. Great for a walk and a swim (one can walk to the top of the volcano in about 40 minutes). There is only one restaurant there which is very busy and closes at 3. Bring your own water and remember that there is no shade. Great photo opportunity in the bay just outside the restaurant and possibility of rock pooling in the bay nearby.

The Corralejo Natural Reserve is a vast protected area known for its extensive sand dunes and pristine beaches. Spanning approximately 10 km from Puerto Remedio to La Salina, these dunes are the largest in the Canary Islands and are home to numerous protected local flora and fauna species. Their formation can be attributed to the decomposition of mollusk shells and other sea organisms. The reserve's beaches attract surfers due to the strong winds, making them popular destinations on the island.
Beautiful national park bordering the south side of corralejo Town down along the east coast for about 5 miles to red mountain.
Beautiful beaches large dunes reaching 5 and 6 stories high.
Interesting part for me are the little brown shell/ stone like objects you will find scattered I'm the sand with little half inch holes. Turns out they are little egg sacks that have been petrified from a long since extinct pre historic wasp.

The dunes are perfect for activities like hiking, sandboarding or just relaxing in the shade. The environment is very quiet, which contributes to a pleasant stay.
There are also a few beaches in the park, ideal for swimming and sunbathing.
Corralejo Nationalpark is a must for those who appreciate nature, beauty and tranquility.

Amazing dunes reminding of a proper desert. Apparently the sand was brought to Fuerta by winds from Africa - Sahara which is roughly 200km in a direct line. Well it is a must see place if you interested in sightseeing business. The only downside is lack of toilets facilities but being a national park it might be an explanation. You can visit anytime as it plenty of space around and it doesn’t looked busy the times we went there or drove pass it.

Huge beach, fantastic dunes, something beautiful. Similar to the dunes in the Polish Słowiński National Park, but much larger. And the water is much cleaner and nicer.

Such a beautiful place! I walked here along the coast from the other end of Correlejo…it’s a bit of a trek so would recommend a car if you have mobility issues. Lots of space to lie and relax, although very windy!!!

The combination of the dunes and the sea is what makes this national park so unique. I have traveled to dozens of countries and I have never seen such beautiful place. there is a strong contrast between the dunes and the sea. A road in the middle that goes through the entire dune area, with lots of parking places and easy access to the beach. Big waves make it a surfing paradise. I love it!

Well, it's not the greatest sand dunes I have ever seen, nor are those the biggest. If you have a car and if you are in the area, yes stop there. Otherwise, you don't miss much. Sorry sand dunes, you are pretty but just not that spectacular.
Located on the southern edge of Corralejo, Acua Water Park is a popular destination for families and thrill-seekers alike. The park features nine different water slides suitable for all ages, a lazy river, a wave pool, and a giant jacuzzi. For those traveling with kids, there's also Gambito Games, an arcade with a bowling alley. Spanning 25,000 square meters, the park offers 14 water features including traditional slides and a wave pool.
Spot on for a day out, we all loved it, not just the kids, great slides, nice deep areas to jump in as well.theres also pools and playthings for the smaller kids, so something for everyone, and they do food, the zinger burger was spot on.

Had a good time at the water park with my 7 yo granddaughter. She absolutely loved it...
Price to get in is pretty reasonable. Food and drinks are a bit expensive, but expected.
Lots of sun loungers everywhere. However, there are limited places in the shade, so wear plenty sun lotion...
A great day out overall

If you've been to Chimelong, Siam Park, Sunway Lagoon or Six Flags, you're in for a real treat. I wasn't prepared for the disappointment I was about to experience when I came here. It wasn't cheap and having a large family would make it an expensive day. The place just comes around as old and tired.
The staff are very friendly and the food prices are extremely reasonable, it's just the expensive admission charge, for what you get. Luckily, the place wasn't busy so there were no queues. The wave machine was more of a ripple in a millpond and the Lazy River was so bone idle it went backwards at one point.....
Been there, done it but unfortunately won't be returning.

Visited on Easter weekend and had an amazing time! The place was very busy but the queue for slides moved quickly. Great variety of slides and the lifeguards/staff were very friendly and attentive. We found the place very clean. We enjoyed the dark cave and rapid river. We paid the extra 5 euros each for the rings, just beware they might go walkies if you don’t keep an eye on them!
Sam C — Google review
Great place for the family. We went October half term so only had to queue a couple of times for the popular rides.
Daughter is 8 and not a confident swimmer (yet) but other children gave her confidence and managed to slide down the child water slide. This was a huge step.
Staff are very friendly. Lots of life guards clean facilities. Weather was perfect.
No idea what it would be like in peak season though. Only tip would be to hire your own ring from reception to save queuing for the rides where you need a ring.
Richard James Wedding Videography — Google review
Great value for money. A little limited on number of slides, but enjoyed what was there.
Lazy river is extremely lazy.
Wave pool was fun.
Good value food and drinks.
Overall an enjoyable day out, but real thrill seekers may be a little disappointed.
Mark Burns — Google review
Good range of slides for different ages. Lazy river & wave pool. Seperate Kids water play area. Not a huge park but big enough to keep you busy all day. Snack bar & cafe reasonably priced. Plenty of sunbeds. Had a great time.
Sarah Wynn — Google review
We had an amazing day at the park! The water was warmer than expected and the place was really quiet so there were no queues. It's a shame that there aren't more rings for use at each ride (without the need to hire them at an extra €5 each) as that wasn't obvious from the website, but we were extremely lucky and didn't have to wait for anything! The kids thought it was a fantastic way to spend a day!
Jude Johnstone — Google review
My family had an amazing day here. The water isn't heated anywhere but was a nice temperature which makes it more enjoyable.
They have smaller slides for little one's, unfortunately the adults can't go down but you can stand at the bottom to catch them.
Has plenty of seating areas with shade. The cafe has a good amount of food and drinks to offer. All in all a really good experience and I would highly recommend to anyone.
J — Google review
Great wee waterpark, good lockers, can hire inflatable rings, if you don't want to wait in que, think it would get busy peak season, so worth the 5 euro deposit and 5 euro hire, deposit is refundable, same with lockers
Ian Reid — Google review
Good little waterpark enough for the day, kids love it foods Good there too.
So if your going book on line to avoid queuing then all you need to do is show the barcode off email.
When you get in it's €5 deposit and a €5 charge for a locker then when you return the key you get your deposit back.
Don't worry there no panic for trying to get a bed whilst your there, there are plenty of beds.
Also if you wish to rent a rubber ring you will have to do this if you don't want the ones provided at the slides, we didn't rent and just used the ones provided which was fine.
If you like a big dinner then get the lunch pass with your ticket if you have a family of 4 or more quite big portions so will work out cheaper to do this.
It has a larger cafe and a small cafe snack bar in the middle of the park.
Parking for cars is outside so no problem parking up no charges neither.
Steven Shaw — Google review
As a family of 4, we first thought the prices were quite high but we were there all day so you get your moneys worth. Lots of slides, some on your own and some with an inflatable ring (don’t rent the one at entrance - unless you don’t want to wait a couple mins for the free ones) it might be busier middle of summer, we were there start of July.
The park ground gets very hot so wear wet shoes or be prepared to walk fast! Lockers available but you need to pay €10 which you get €5 back when you leave.
Toilets and showers available by the lockers.
There are 2 places to eat. The pool side bar in the small kids section has a small menu, the self service area by the wave pool in much more varied and the chicken burger I had was delicious.
The wave pool was fun but water was a bit dirty with some litter debris.
Slides - better to wear goggles, as some you go down and the water spray is so much you can’t see! Be prepared for a fast landing in the water usually with swimsuit giving you a wedgie! 🤣
If you want sun-beds with a parasol get there early enough. Park opens at 10 and closes at 6 but the attractions close 30 mins before. Good views when you walk up to the slides.
Sarah McLaughlin — Google review
Quite expensive for entry but a nice day out with the kids. Good range of slides and pools. Wouldn't go on a windy day as it can get quite chilly walking round. On Site Cafe is reasonable priced although expect to queue for 20 minutes plus around lunchtime.
Quite a queue to get in at opening times, so possibly book online in advance.
Christopher Court — Google review
The water park had everything there you'd expect for all ages, apparently Sunday supposed to be the busiest day to go before I forget to mention. Cost for us booking with Tui was €87 that didn't include food,it did include the Sun loungers, parasol and inflatable rubber ring.Food was decent and they had a fast turnaround considering it was busy.
stephen maxfield — Google review
Visited on a Sunday in August, and we could walk straight on to the slides all day - the longest queue we experienced was ~5 mins to get on the Dark Cave with an inflatable ring. See the pics - there is no-one on that blue slide, and it's brilliant. Lifeguards were all friendly, and applied common sense. There was enough to keep a 7 and 11 year old entertained (and their Dad) until the slides closed at 17.30. Siam park it is not, but there is so much more fun to be had when there are no queues. Food was basic, but reasonable value. As others a have said, don't bother paying extra for your own inflatable. Do book tickets on the website to save 10%. Recommend a visit if you're nearby.

The beach Playa del Castillo is a popular spot on Fuerteventura in the warmer months, with sunbathing, swimming and picnicking attracting crowds. It's also known as Caleta de Fuste and Piedra Playa, due to its protected bay location. There's plenty of activity in the water from snorkelling to dipping with local sea lions.
Lovely beach, suitable for everyone. There is disabled access with wooden walk ways running on to the beach (though not across it)
Beautiful Turquoise water, cool to start but warm once your body adjusts to it.
The top of the beach near the board walk has toilets and fresh water showers. There are nice affordable bars at the right of the beach near the Eurotar Salinas hotel. These cafes and restaurants do take out ice creams too.
the car parks seem to be at the right end of the beach too or you can park anywhere on any road in the sprawling complex all around this end of Caleta de Fuste
This is a man made beach with quite gritty "Sand" laid deeply to cover the Natural volcanic ledge that was here, It is a gradual shelf and suitable for all swimming abilities. You still need to be mindful of the currents and wind direction here as the entrance to the beach goes directly out to sea
There are man life guard towers here and a shark net to protect the beach from both Sharks and rays. There are smaller fish and these quite happily swim round you, you need to be aware of this as some people seemed quite distressed by that. These fish do not bite but might just swim against you.
You can hire sun loungers and sun shades/Parasols here on the beach - you just sit on a lounger and the attendants will come to you. We were there 2nd week in September 2022 and the price was still 10 Euros for all day rental of x 2 loungers and Parasol 0r 7 Euros for one lounger and Parasol. Pretty good value as you do need the shade especially if you have a young family or you burn easily.
Very nice beach for evening walks along the Board walk.
Possible Downsides:-
It can get very busy in high season, but never "Rammed"
Very close to airport so planes fly over head to land - but its not that often .
Can be choppy with small waves on very windy days.
F Kent-Ledger (**SkiEtna**) — Google review
We had a week here with the family and had a great time. The weather was go. The beach looks nice, but there are some sharp pieces of shell, which got in to my sandals and were uncomfortable.
Steve Butcher — Google review
A great beach with a snack bar, toilets (free), and 2 sunchairs and shade for €10.50. Beach has a bit of rocks and seaweed, but that doesn't bother the kids. Go further down away from the toilets for less sand and seaweed. Quite windy.
Lisa “Jootjoot” C — Google review
To start with, location is very close to the airport if that makes any difference, beach is manmade, not natural. It's wide, there's plenty of room for everyone, ocean is calm so it's ideal for families with young children, down side of it I would say is that there are only 2 beach bars operating from 11 till 6 only so if you would like to eat some restaurant food you have walk a bit to the main area off the beach. There's another thing to mention here that can be annoying or pleasant, the airplanes are flying right above the beach and they are loud. Hope I covered it all.

Stunning beach. Crystal clear water and a fantastic place to visit for both adults and families
Andrea Turnbull — Google review
The beach has excellent facilities, including restaurants and cafes, clean bathrooms near the beach, showers, and parasols (€7 for one person or 10 for two people). The beach is ok, it certainly isn't the best on the island, but the water is calm and it is clean. It's near the airport - about a 10 minute drive. There are dromedaries which were nice to see, with the option to pay for a ride.
Caterina Bassano — Google review
Very wide beach , great for toddlers as they don't get stuck in the sand and there are not many waves
Rostislaff Bayeff — Google review
Fantastic beach. Shallow water for quite the distance out. Very little waves means you can chill in the water with your kids with no worries.
Nice snack bar on the beach. Camel rides and toilets as well. You can also rent sun beds for a resonable price. 10 euros for two for the whole day.
Leon Milliken — Google review
Such a beautiful place!! In the early morning the beach is quite empty and it’s lovely to take some pictures!
If you want to use the sun beds and the umbrella there is a €10.50 charge for a day. There are shower, toilet and live guards available.
Also, few restaurants that have take away coffee and drinks with an average of €3 per drink.
Definitely a place to visit!
Silvia Casian — Google review
A truly wonderful beach that's very wide.
Toilets are on the beach.
A bar on the beach too.
Many restaurants and cafes nearby.
The sand is flat as it's a man made beach.
This makes it easy to walk on, but not as great for sand castles!!
The water is shallow though, so great for swimming in !
Very tranquil with many sunbeds under shaded umbrellas.
To note, it's 10 mins drive in the car from the airport.
Jamie Ward — Google review
A very large and lovely, man-made beach, with affordable sun loungers. A pair of loungers with canapoy was €10.50 per day. Attended by several life guards, the shore at low tide is very stoney so wear your beach shoes while in the water, (well it is a volcanic island after all). There are good walkways with clean, attended toilets (tips are optional but don't be shy...) and loads of bins etc. The chierichetto is good for a coffee or drink but a bit far from the water front, but the wooded walkways make this tolerable. This is a windy beach so be prepared.
A Live — Google review
Nice and scenic at both day and night, even if it is highly likely to be man-made. The ocean is still real and you get some spectacular views of the coast regardless. Didn't use the sunbeds during the day so uncertain as to the cost, we mainly just had the odd walk around as we were staying very close-by.

Water is crystal clear and beautiful to swim.
Sadly a lack of beach bars.

Moran “MBy” Ben Yosef — Google review
A nice beach that I think is man made as it is virtually all South facing. It’s quite shallow especially when the sea goes out. Very little in the way of Waves as the bay is a bit sheltered. The Sun beds are just over €5 per person per day. Toilets and areas to recycle. There is a bit of an area for disabled access/pushchair. Near the centre.
The Salt Museum Salinas del Carmen, located south of Caleta de Fuste, is a museum within an old saltworks that showcases the history and production of sea salt. Visitors can enjoy two tours, one inside the museum and another outside in the actual sea salt mines. Inside, they can explore the extensive history of salt, its various uses in medicine, cooking, and chemistry throughout different periods and regions. They can also learn about the cultural significance attached to salt by different societies.
Hidden gem. You've got to visit this place. From the main beach in Caleta, its either a 10 minute bus ride ( no 103 ) from the main bus station, a 15 minute bike ride , or a 40 minute walk. We took the bus there & walked back. Paid €6 each to visit the museum & brought some sea salt for ourselves + friends who love cooking.
There's a few chipmunks 🐿 living down there too.

Great place to spend a couple of hours. Museum is very informative. The shop is good for buying a souvenir and had a decent Cappuccino and expresso in the little cafe. Accessible toilets and my husband who uses self propel wheelchair did manage to see the majority of the outside displays.

Interesting museum, not the friendliest of staff in the info centre! but 12€ for the two of us to look around the museum was acceptable. Although we did see people just looking around the trenches and not bothering with the indoor museum. We can’t recommend the cafe though, just couldn’t get served, maybe because of Sunday lunch being served in the restaurant.

Good place to go and see. Very cheap. Lovely gift shop. Friendly staff. Only downside wish there was more information on the process behind making salt and having staff members outside around the ponds to answer questions. Would have made the trip much more informative

Ok so think of the 12 euro (for two) entry as a tourist contribution to the local economy. We walked along the coast from caleta de fuste and it was a nice little bonus to go in here and see some local history! Add wild chipmunks and a huge whale skeleton and what is not to like! There is a nice shop and restaurant here but we left empty handed and hungry lol . Give it a visit!

This is an amazing place with super nice and lovely staff. It has an indoor museum part which is interactive and provide interesting information about this profession and place. Do not miss the 5 minutes video, it is created in a unique way. There is a special way of presentation. I am sure it will grab your attention. The outside part is must visit too , how the water go through the different stages than seeing the the result the salt itself in the end.

Worth seeing. It's amazing how ingenious the traditional salt production methods were. The museum gives a good overview of the process both in the various exhibits inside as well as the actual production area outside.

The history of the place is interesting. There is a small exhibition inside and you can walk around the actual production facility. The gift shop is a bit generic.
On the negative side - the outside area could have done with a bit more care. I could see discarded drink cartons and general rubbish in the actual salt pools ... So I did not buy salt from the shop ....

It is a small but very nice museum about salt and ist's traditional handcrafted gaining from the sea. Besides that it's including a beautiful female Narwale-skeletton (though sad) - and a very nice museum shop with very kind staff. Situated in the northern region, El Cotillo Beach is renowned and impressive, with its notable stretches including Playa de los Lagos and Playa de la Concha. These two beaches are practically interconnected, featuring clear waters and fine sand that won't adhere to your feet. For a glimpse of the Faro del Toston lighthouse, visitors can head to Playa de los Charcos, which offers even clearer waters than its counterparts and is an idyllic haven for sun worshippers.
A lovely beach with natural lagoons. The coast line is quite rugged in parts however there are still plenty of sandy parts to sun bathe and the area has the typical Fuerteventura stone/ lava walled wind protecting "houses". As always please pick up your litter and take it home to help protect the beauty of the area and the wildlife living there.

Lovely beach with sandy shore and crystal clear lagoons. It is about 15 mins walking from the bus stop. There are toilets and showers near the life guard. We prepared drink and food for the day because restaurans and shops are not near. Naturists and bikini sunbathers next to each other with no problem.

Love El Cotillo, there are turquoise, clear lagoons protected from the big waves on one side of town. The big, wild beach at the other side of town is good fun for waves. Situated on the east coast, Faro de la Entallada is a captivating lighthouse renowned for its Moorish architectural style and stunning vistas of the ocean. It stands as the nearest point to Africa in all of the Canary Islands, merely 100km away from Cape Juby in Morocco. The compound comprises three colossal towers, with the tallest measuring an impressive height of 200 meters, serving as a functional beacon.
A wonderful escape into the big blue. Almost 200 meters above the infinite blue in the place closest to African land (100 km). The very access by winding mountain roads is fun, later a wonderful lighthouse and an observation point make it all worth visiting this place. Even though it will be windy, even in December it will be a pleasant warm breeze.

Nice views over this Mars landscape looking island. The way up is an adventure, if you don’t pay attention or meet oncoming traffic you’re gonna have a challenge. But on the other hand, it’s not that long and quite thrilling actually. The lighthouse is closed so not much to see but worth a visit!

Great view, worth visiting. The road to the lighthouse is very narrow, no borders, if you re afraid of heights be prepared to drive slowly. But the view is worth it. Would galdy buy some miniatures for good memories, but nothing there.

Fantastical view, it's worth the vist. It's easy to reach, by car, or a 20 minute hike ( if you leave your car down ). Be careful!! Not suitable for people who have high phobia!! The road too narrow and dangerous for driving up.. be prepared before you go. We didn’t know it’s like this and we managed to drive up but can’t drive down because our driver has high phobia (you know if people they has this condition it’s not fear of high.. it’s a phobia that they will jump down and shaking, loosing body control)we has ask the officer there to help us to drive down but they said the can’t.. they even don’t know what is high phobia. But luckily we found someone who kind and helped us driving down the hill with safety. Just would like to advise that if you didn’t drive pretty good or has high phobia you should park down the hill and walking up. By the way view is amazing but not safety.

Delightful spot with great views and those amazing statues! Parking right by them. Well worth a visit. And a pretty village nearby.

Amazing view. Well made statues, nice and big. Holding the statues' private parts while having your picture taken seemed quite a popular thing to do.

Nice view from the place. It’s possible to park at the two places if it’s not space close to the statues. You can take a walk around as well.

Ajuy, a quaint coastal village on the western coast of Fuerteventura, boasts an incredible sight for visitors. Located north of the village center along a scenic coastal path lies the awe-inspiring Ajuy Caves, once hidden sanctuaries used by pirates. These captivating caves hold historical significance as they were where Jean de Bethencourt first docked in 1402 upon his arrival to this island.
Very beautiful place! Please beware that it's not adapted to wheelchairs or strollers. I would also be scared to take here children below 6, but that's me. The views are spectacular. Some walking along the cliffs, which could be better protected.

Fabulous place to visit. Black beach, power of the ocean, and the magic of a natural beauty. The clifwalk is not too long, but it might be a challenging experience. Comfortable shoes are highly recommended. Absolutely must to visit place!

The view is good. Too many people though considering the fact that the path is super narrow. And there is an unpleasant smell in the caves, like it is a toilet. The cutest part is ground squirrels, dozens of them, absolutely fearless, running back and forth and looking at people with curiosity.

Great geological location. One can see many different types of rock formations. Very interesting and the view is breathtaking.

Amazing place to visit... I really enjoyed seeing the huge caves. Such a beautiful place. A bit disappointed that the local council hasn't made more of it by way of perhaps a visitor center and sign posts going down, showing the way. It's free, no cost.... Tourists wouldn't mind paying a minimal fee for a bit of orientation and guidance... A few parts you do have to be very careful with your footing. All in all absolutely worth a visit 😊
Amanda May Brown — Google review
Stunning place with lots of steps made on the stairs and in the caves. Take some nuts with you to feed the squirrels on your way down to the caves and watch them quickly run away to dig holes and hide it to come back to you for more. Lovely views and enjoyable walk that both young and older people will enjoy.

Nice huge cave, with spectacular views getting there. But if you have been to organised cave tours this might leave you underwhelmed.
Won't take more than about an hour to walk out to it and back.
If you have any kind of mobility issue this is not a location for you to visit.

Amazing place! The walk along the cliff towards the caves can be a bit challenging in places so it's a good idea to wear sturdy shoes or trainers. Gorgeous views along the way and in the caves. Definitely worth a visit!

Nice cave. Should be careful. No barricades or anything near the cliff and its pretty windy too. But the cave is worth the climb back.

Its a long and fairly difficult trek even though there is a path carved out. It was even more difficult coming back up. Having said that the scenery is amazing.
Established in 1985, Oasis Wildlife Park is a zoo that provides interactive experiences with animals and captivating shows featuring sea lions and birds. It serves as an ideal alternative for those seeking indoor activities or during unfavorable weather conditions. Boasting a diverse collection of over 3,000 creatures, this expansive park also houses the largest cactus garden on the European continent. Additionally, Oasis Park showcases entertaining live performances by various animal species such as birds of prey and marine mammals like sea lions.
Came here a couple of days ago and it was amazing! Some of the other reviews had me worried, but I think they just didn't optimise their trip very well. You really get what you pay for as there are free live shows throughout the day. Me and My fiance viewed them all and they were brilliant! The food at the restaurant was also really nice, and not overly priced in my opinion. It's what I'd expect to pay at a zoo. We actually ran out of time and missed a couple of animals as well! We had to hurry back to our bus and didn't get time to see the lemurs! :O Transfers are also free (you don't even need to book a ticket online), so if you're staying at a hotel then they will pick you up from there. There is a timetable on the website, so be sure to have a look at that. But overall, it was a really enjoyable day out and I managed to snap a few photos on my phone. You can also get up REALLY close to the giraffes, which is exciting! And no, the animals aren't treated badly. I am qualified in animal husbandry and can confirm the animals were fine. Some could have done with a little extra space but the same can be said for every single zoo I have visited. You can tell the staff adore the animals, so PLEASE ignore the ignorant reviews spouting out nonsense in regards to the animals "looking depressed". All in all, I would highly recommend coming here!
YeetPea — Google review
Fantastic day out well worth the entrance fee. All the animals look well looked after and are very active. We were watching the otters and they were so excited when a lady in a green t-shirt walked past they thought they were going to be fed so if you wear green they'll be some excited animals 😂😂 a lot of the animals you can feed ( €1.50 for a bag of food, signposts on all animals saying if you can or can't feed them) I got to stoke a llama (so soft) and feed a giraffe from the palm of my hand!! You can get close to the animals (this was lovely and unexpected) which was amazing and everyone was really respectful towards them. We came 17 years ago with children and it's grown a bit since then but in a good way. Food and drink reasonable not overpriced. Free bus from most of the island which is a bonus.

This place is fantastic, it's massive, you can get really close to the animals, the restaurant is very tasty, recommended the burger. The sea lion show is fantastic. I just wish I had more time there to fit in the train ride and all the birds and plants.
We brought our tickets online the day before using a special promo code and got the tickets at a bit of a discount, the code at the time was "wildlife" ended up converting to about 25 - 30 pounds for an adult ticket. It's amazing value for how good it is.
It's a definite must if you're nearby.

The Oasis Wildlife Fuerteventura is superb!!
First, the Personnel were friendly and attentive at all times. Second, they maintain the cleanliness and the habitation of the sanctuary of every animal. Third, the Food on the Restaurant I find it fair on taste but a bit Pricey. Fourth, I witnessed the how they trained the Animals for show ( Bird show and 🦭 show ) with love and care. Lastly, the Botanical Sanctuary was really great and well maintained.
Overall experience was great and it is a whole day walking activity here because I thought 2-3 hours is enough but no… you need the whole day to see everything here.

FANTASTIC!!!!
We went mainly to see the giraffes who are so close you can feed and pet them. They were amazing. We took fruit with us and they loved it.
The zoo sell bags of hay to feed them at 2€ but they giraffes aren't interested in it.
It's a really lovely set up, very clean, very well cared for animals and lots of variety.
The bird show was fantastic. ( up a massive hill and over a km walk but worth it.
I would recommend this zoo to everyone.
I wouldn't hire a baby cart at 12 € due to the terrain.
Definitely take water with you and plenty of sun screen.
SUPERB DAY

What a fantastic hands-on experience! We fed the camels and giraffes with the zoo’s snack bags which are sold for 2€ and yes we bought many! The animals are so used to being fed that they are really gentle and kids can do it too without issue. The range of animals are good and the experiences are reasonably priced; you can go in with the lemurs or walk with camels, right up to meeting the elephants for example.
The bus to get to the zoo is cheap and picks up from so many hotels (takes 30 mins to 1 hour). To go home the bus leaves at 16:30.

Fantastic place, it really feels more like a safari than a zoo. Lots of shade for the hotter sunnier days. The camel ride is very good value for money too. So much to do it's hard to fit it all in but one thing you must do is feed the giraffes that is not to be missed

One of the best zoos I've ever been to. Everything timed perfectly. After the first section, monkeys, giraffes, elephants, camels etc, you get to go on the train across to the live bird show. Then a short walk to the live reptile show and lastly to the live sea lion show. There was a restaurant with top quality food which we had lunch at. Also a restaurant at the beginning where we had breakfast and a drink at the end whilst awaiting the coach. Would definitely recommend a day here. We have a 21 month old daughter and she loved every minute

Great place to visit with family. Easy access to car park. Toilets are located at each destination stop. The map was very clear. The staff are very friendly, but with poor English skills.
Very clean toilets. The restaurant's food was delicious. A huge portion at a good price.
The only minus: whenever you purchase online tickets, you still have to queue to get a paper one....

Lovely place to spend few hours on your own or with family. Loads of parking spaces available without any charge. Only issue we found, as we booked tickets online (online is few euro less) there was no information in the entrance if we can just walk in or collect something from ticket office. Finally we found out that we need to collect printed tickets from gift shop on the side to entrance. About oasis park all the paths well signed, you don't cross the same path few times. A lot of walking in the sun especially when you visit savanna animals. But also beautiful botanic side. Treats for animals available all over the way, you can feed lamas, giraffe or camels. For someone who previously visited Loro Park in Tenerife, Oasis is less busy, commercial and I find the place more peaceful. Food really good and with reasonable prices.

Lovely Zoo! All of the animals seemed happy and clean. We watched 2 live events- birds and sea lions. Both amazing. You can buy snacks for the animals(at the entrance and in a few other spots) and feeding them was a great experience. All in all- normal Zoo+ live events and botanical garden. I recommend!

Wonderful day out for the whole family. Able to feed the camels and giraffes and get up close with them. Need comfy shoes and light clothing though, as it's quite a walk to some of them. Take plenty to drink too, although there are a couple of places to stop for refreshments. Wheelchair accessible in most places, but some routes they are not allowed! Well looked after animals, great staff an all-around great day out for €36 if you book online.

A wonderful experience!
Loved everything about this zoo.
Beautiful and adequate animal housing, pretty cool shows (Fauna show and bird show - sadly the seal show wasn't possible during our visit).
My personal highlight was feeding the giraffes. (At the entrance you're able to buy food for the animals for 2€ per bag)
The botanical cactus garden was also very beautiful and worth seeing.

Lots of walking and steep hills so be mindful of with older people or young children. We only found out there was no seal show on arrival on a board so that was disappointed. We also paid extra for a lemur show but it's basically what we can do here for free on a UK zoo. A walk through and talk about them and that's it. Not many animals to see but you can feed some animals by purchasing food. We fed the camels and giraffe. Food options here are not bad at all and not as expensive as I thought.

Lovely wildlife park. Excellent experience not only for families with kids. It is a day trip. It's really big so you will spend the whole day there. There are some free exhibitions like sea lions, birds talking etc. You can also feed some animals.

Indeed a huge beautiful oasis in the desert. A place where you can spend half of the day enjoying different activities, gorgeous gardens, exotic animals and birds - some of them I've never seen in my life. Plenty of benches if you feel you need a break from walking, dozens of vending machines with drinks around if you get too warm under the sun, a couple of places to eat and buy ice cream. Sea lion live is the best experience! I would go here again for sure.

Amazing wildlife park. We did camel experience 1 which was great. Loved being able to feed fish and turtles for 1 Euro. Loved feeding the giraffes and camels. Lifelong memories. Staff all lovely and helpful. Hired a cart to pull our toddler in which was good. Amazing views from the tractor ride.

Oasis Wildlife Zoo is absolutely worth visiting and I would highly recommend the Lemur experience. You can get into the Lemur enclosure and spend time with them inside their habitat.
The giraffes are my favourites and you can feed them using the feed bags purchased for a very reasonable €2
The tickets are cheaper for residents of the island but you’ll need to prove it with your TIE card.
Been here twice and both times I’ve been blown away by how great the zoo is and how well everything is kept.

Lovely zoo with obvious attention also to the botanical setup, making it a really lovely and colorful experience. Loved watching the otters and feeding giraffes and camels. Unfortunatelly I was not lucky to be interacted with by lemurs during the lemur experience but got a chance to take some closeup pics at least. Lovely day, plenty of shade, not too busy - highly recommend.
Radka S. — Google review
The zoo we visited had a unique concept, rescuing monkeys and primate species from illegal keepers and traffickers, providing them a sanctuary when they couldn't survive in the wild. While it was clean and the cages were regularly maintained, I couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness for other species confined without a normal life.
The zoo's commitment to cleanliness and personal care for the monkeys stood out. Eucalyptus trees added a pleasant aroma, making the visit more enjoyable. Bringing snacks for yourself is advisable.
We witnessed a captivating bird show featuring prey birds in a distant, uncaged setting. However, I wondered about the keepers' methods during the day. The ambiance was perfect for photography, but the ticket prices could be more budget-friendly.
The staff was friendly and helpful, making it potentially fascinating for kids.

The place had a nice vibe, lots of shade from greenery so no worries about sunburn. There was alot to do and lots of animals to view. Many different experiences such as the Lemur Experience, which we went to. It was a bit short but overall the lemurs were cute and very tamed. There is a snack bar and buffet. There was a few shows you could attend without extra charge and botanical gardens. We enjoyed our stay here and it was a fun day out. Overall i have no big complaints and despite the price it was perfect

The ticket prices seem expensive at first but having considered the amount of animals we saw as well as the amazing plants the prices are actually reasonable. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it felt like we had the place to ourselves most of the time, it was very relaxed and there weren’t many people there. We were able to see most of the animals however some appeared to be sleeping. The plants, especially the cacti, were very impressive. Come prepared to walk up some hills!

Great animal parc to visit. Even on a Sunday, it didn’t seem overcrowded, at least in offseason. Plenty of exotic animals and plants. The shows are great too, especially the fauna live show.
The restaurant does the job but don’t expect something nice.
Samuel Gillessen — Google review
The zoo is a great day out, and not overly expensive. The birds of prey show is very good and interactive. The sea lions are very good, although the show was not on this time and there was no advance warning of it being cancelled. Feeding the giraffes is great fun and a good photo opportunity, but buy the food from near the giraffes not at the entrance as they prefer the fruit option.
We paid for the lemur experience, £15 euros, in my opinion it was not worth the money. It was only 15 minutes long, 6 minutes of information and then time to wander round the enclosure. I would not do this again unless the price was lowered.

Fantastic day out, all animals where happy, and you can feed giraffes and camels. Facility's are great even for disabled people. It isn't that wheelchair friendly if it's manual as there are a lot of hills, but they do offer off terrain mobility scooters that make life easier. We did manual wheelchair, so expecting a good loss at slimming world next week. Fantastic day out.
Allan Carnegie — Google review
Perfect day. Reserve at least 5 hours for this zoo and botanic garden but there is a lot to see and enjoy for the whole day. It is expensive but worth it. If you would like to save a little buy tickets online but you can do it the latest day before..not at the same day you want to visit. And you can bring your own food there are many nice picnic tables areas. Feeding animals like girrafes and camels was precious to me. Enjoy.
Lucia Luknarova — Google review
I would give it 3,5 if there is such possibility. Area is really vast and high differences are significant what makes it hard for trolleys, small kids and older people. Same animals are perfectly displayed and others not, there is lack of consistency in it.
Nevertheless we have spent here whole day and it was really good. Nice to hide here when winds are strong.
High expectations were set by high price there.
Michał Miszczuk — Google review
We visited the zoo on a lovely warm day, and it was lovely.
The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because we bought our tickets online, and then we had to queue to get our tickets. I didn't understand what the point was, and it meant we saved no time.
We used the free bus to go to the park, and unfortunately they've stopped doing the bus from where we are staying (El Cotillo) so had to travel to Corralejo to get the bus. It then took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get to the zoo, which wasn't terrible and the coach was nice so was quite pleasant watching the scenery. But I think personally in future, its worth hiring a car to do the journey down.
The food was amazing, I wasn't honestly expecting to have delicious food for such a good price. I had paella and my partner had the chicken escalope with chips. Great portions, good price, tasted delicious. The variety of options available wasn't something I was expecting but was great either way!
The animals were so much fun to watch, and as someone with a soft spot for tortoises, it was so much fun just watching them run around and eat for ages! It was really great seeing the baby hippo after seeing them get busy last year as well, almost like a part 1 and 2 series!
My favourite part of the day, and it's definitely worth paying for the food, was feeding the giraffes. They were so gentle and lovely and for 2 euro a bag, worth it for the experience!
Overall, it was a great day out and I would suggest everyone visit!

Great apartment. Little bit older and showing some signs of wear and tear, however service is incredibly good. Had problems with the door that were instantly remedied. Food is ok. 98% of the clientele is German I legit feel like the only “foreigner” here (English) 😄
And the buffet is mostly a Darwinian affair of the survival of the fittest. Lots of elbows and plates being stupidly overfilled.
However the location is top. Staff are super friendly can fully recommend the visit. Clean. Safe. I’m happy here. Family are happy here. Life is good.

Apartment is musty, smelly and dingy. Bed smells like vomit. If you don't speak German then you will have to translate any signs and information.
There is very little assistance provided by staff. Most do not speak English. For half board you have to pay for any drink with your meal(including water). The ground floor apartments have no privacy and you are warned to lock even when in the apartment due to theft. The safe is charged daily if you wish to use. Food is not great glumpy and rice burnt onto trays as if been left in situ for long periods of time. If your looking for a relaxing time, do not book here as you will be left on the edge and the whole experience is uncomfortable and a massive let down.

Nice service, the rooms are fair enough, and very good restaurant. Just a suggestion for improvement, it's evident that the most part of tourists are Germans or are German spoken natives. For that reason most part of info, signals, activities, staff, are all in German. So, if you'r planning to go, keep in mind that, as much as you'r not annoyed in, visiting Spain, however feeling that you are in Germany and nobody Speaks English, it's ok, good lucky!

Hotel is german managed and staffed, all activities in German.
Spotted some cockroaches around the walls outdoor. The original (double) room smelt bad because of piping bathroom. Dinner buffet 1st night of poor quality, breakfast + buffet other nights good. Hotel manager offered a better room + wine + fruit basket to compensate. We were also offered a refund of the remaining nights if we preferred to change the hotel.
+ friendly staff
+ satisfactory compensation
+ quality buffet was good (except for night 1)
+ location right at a nice beach
+ clean facilities, well maintained
- rooms, terrace furniture & pool chairs outdated
- hotel area deteriorated/ abandoned
- kitchenette includes coffeemachine + cutlery, but coffee filters and detergent must be purchased separately.

No complaints up until the incident at dinner. I tried to make a cup of tea to eat with a desert, when a member of stuff grabbed a cup from my hands and another member shouted that tea is only for breakfast. When asked to speak to manager I was ignored. I then went to reception to ask for the general manager, however I was told they cant contact him/her. In general, everyone at the restaurant was very aggressive in the way they talked and how they tried to enforce the rules like no tea drinking at the dinner, even though tea and hot water was on the display at the buffet , and no signs were there to inform that it is only reserved for breakfast. Similarly often quite aggressive in how they enforce partial closures of the restaurant before the official restaurant closing time when staff decides they want to start cleaning the area early. As a result, last hour of dinner and breakfast, half of the restaurant is closed and is being loudly cleaned which makes you feel as if you are already sitting past the working hours even though that is not remotely the case. This is a shame, given how friendly the reception stuff is most of the time and the location of the hotel is very good.

I found very disappointing that food menus, information and communication in general is adapted to German taste, style and language. Missing the Spanish flair, food, music, language.
Nothing against German language but I travel to Spanish territory looking for something Latin. The feeling is like being in Germany but with sun.

Everything is on site. Literally: Shops. Gym. Pool. Beach. Food. An ATM. Bar. Theatre. Restaurant. Fast wifi. Etc.
It is very family centric. Party goers might find the hotel quite passive. If you have kids and want them to adventure the hotel for a couple of days and be fed endless food from a huge buffet, this is the spot. Large kids park and small soccer field with daycare for kids.
Rooms were a bit dusty but otherwise everything about the hotel is very very nice.

Playa de Cofete, located in the windward division of the peninsula, is widely regarded as one of the most desirable beaches in the Canary Islands. This remote and unspoiled stretch of sandy coastline offers sweeping vistas and crystal-clear waters. With a 12-kilometre-long shoreline that remains largely untouched, Playa de Cofete is truly a breathtaking destination worth visiting on Fuerteventura.
One of the most spectacular places on earth the beach is pretty much the whole west coast of Jandia. The beach isn't really for swimming as the Atlantic is crashing straight in but it's the untouched nature of the place due to the poor access. 3 main ways to get here first.is a 2 hour hike from Parking départ randonnée Cofete up over the mountains. Not very difficult tbh. Second is the drive the road which is twisty windy and unpaved. The third is the bus. The bus is a small offroad vehicle which takes about 12 pax

WOW! I will start with that to summarize. Everything about this wild beach is magnificent, probably one of the best in the world. 1st of all 14 kilometres of country roads circling the volcanoes it's slow and a probably scarry for some but oh my ... The reward at the of the road is out of this world, the feeling you get being there makes you think about creation itself. Millions of years of violent activity, volcanoes, wind, ocean and they have sculpted this! Nature overwhelming right there. Of you are on the island you don't visit this beach you are missing on a rare occasion to feel alive and humble. My camera does not make any justice to the landscape. Big waves are crushing into the sand creating a fuzzy view along the coast. Words are not enough to describe it.

Improvements could include adding facilities such as toilets and better road maintenance. Overall, I recommend visiting for the stunning scenery but be prepared for the lack of amenities.

True nature and amazing view ;) it’s breathtaking. Road is not so easy to reach but you can get there with the car like mini suv. Take one day and go for the trip

Harrowing drive but worth it. We had a whole stretch of gorgeous beach all to ourselves.

Beautiful wild beach
The road is "complex" to get there if you haven't practiced mountain gravel paths ... but otherwise no challenge
Sand soft ... waves ... bug waves ... and soooooooo amazing at sunset

Beautiful, unique place.
Watch out for flat tires. A lot of insurances don´t cover damage to your rental car when you´re offroad!
A must see!!!

If you're seeking a true escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, Playa de Cofete is the perfect destination. Located approximately 18 kilometers from Moro Jable, this secluded beach may require an hour's drive through the mountains on a rustic dirt road, but the journey is well worth it for the breathtaking views it offers.
The serenity and tranquility of Playa de Cofete makes it a hidden gem for those seeking a peaceful retreat. As you navigate the winding path through the mountains, the anticipation builds, and upon arrival, you're greeted by a picturesque coastline that stretches as far as the eye can see. The unspoiled beauty of this beach is simply awe-inspiring.
Driving along the dirt road, you'll find yourself surrounded by dumb tourists driving a hatchback as if it were a 4x4 but with magnificent views unfolding before you at every turn. It's an adventure just getting there to be honest.
Once you set foot on the soft sands of Cofete, you'll feel as if you've entered a different world. The beach is embraced by dramatic cliffs and rolling hills, creating a natural enclosure that fosters a sense of seclusion. The lack of crowds allows you to relish in the tranquility, where the only sounds you'll hear are the gentle lapping of waves and the soothing whispers of the wind.
While Playa de Cofete may be off the beaten path, its remote location is part of its charm. It's a place where you can disconnect from the outside world and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. Remember to bring your own supplies, as amenities are limited, but the experience of this untouched paradise is more than worth the preparation.
If you're a traveler who appreciates breathtaking views, tranquility, and the allure of an off-the-grid adventure, Cofete beach is a destination that will capture your heart. Prepare for a scenic drive through the mountains, and be rewarded with a beach that feels like a private paradise, far removed from the stresses of everyday life.

Huge beach!
I drove with a SUV and thought it was really easy. You drive mostly in gear 1 and 2. Just don't drive to fast. If a local is behind you who drives faster just park in one of the many corners and let them through.
You can use any car. The only thing with a small car like the Fiat 500 which I saw a lot is that sometimes there are like hole where you have to drive slowly. Try to make sure that only one tire is in a big hole otherwise you can damage your bumper.
We went to Roque del Moro, Villa Winter and Cofete beach. I personally thought that Roque del More was more special than Cofete beach. It's much more deserted than Cofete beach. At least at the beginning of Cofete beach as it 14 km long.

Breathtaking view, one of best beaches that i have visited! Acess to the beach at part where is roque del moro is only for jeeps and cars with big wheels, we got stuck on the road and we were driving a volkswagen t-rock which is not a small car. Definitely worth a visit, set aside at least half a day for this location
Dragana Jakovljevic — Google review
A spectacular wild, untouched beach, stretching many kilometers. Very windy! It's only accessible by dirt roads. There is a bus from Morro Jable two times a day, finding the right bus is super easy :)
Balázs Kecskés — Google review
The road there is not ideal, you will have to drive around 40 minutes on dirt road through hills, but it’s definitely worth it.
The beach is long and clean with no hotels / resorts around so you will be only encircled by the nature. Must visit in Fuerteventura.

A highlight of Fuerteventura
+ absolutely beautiful
+ lonely
+ public transport connection (bus)
~ this is a natural park. there is no proper infrastructure. Be prepared, if you go by car. Especially if you're driving a rental, since some damages and territories (natural park!) aren't covered. there is a bus.
~ beware of the ocean currents, it is dangerous and there is no safety personal.
- unfortunately, there is a lot of dirt, garbage and also signs of car break ins at the general parking space
Nicolás Martínez — Google review
Wow, amazing beach. It looks very natural. The view is breath taking. The beach is quite long. I would not recommend swiming, since the waves very quite strong when I was there.
But the road to the beach is amother story. There was no concrete, most of the time you have to avoid holes, rocks and other cars. I would suggest, the most skilled driver should take the driver's seat, also avoid the most busy visiting hours and pick the adequate vehicle for the job.
Marko Intihar — Google review
Cofete beach is southwest of Fuerteventura and can be safely defined as the largest and most beautiful beach in the Canary Islands. Its pristine beauty makes it a true pearl of the entire archipelago so much so that it is periodically used for settings in science fiction films … it is 2h 30’ drive from the north to reach this beauty - last 60’ drive are unpaved off-road where you can keep 30/50km per hour - enjoy your journey
Giovanni Negri — Google review
A must-see in Fuerteventura! Totally! The road to the beach is quite off-road however we managed to get there in Toyota Corolla without any problems. There's also a stunning viewpoint on the way

An amazing endless beach betweenthe Atlantic and the mountains... I've only seen in Australia before. No Hotels, just natur so far your eye can see.
You shouldn't swim in the sea. It's very dangerous and not watched. Just enjoy and inhale this beach and have a long walk.

Faro punta de Jandia
Sights & Landmarks
Lighthouses
The Punta Jandia Lighthouse, erected in 1864, is an active lighthouse situated at the end of a dirt road leading from Morro Jable. The museum in the lighthouse showcases marine life exhibits and offers a viewing deck for visitors to enjoy stunning views of the Atlantic waves below. In addition, there is a small information centre that provides details on the flora, fauna and geology of Parque Natural de Jandia.
Beautiful point. Away from everything. On low tide there are nice pools in the rocks for swimming. The lighthouse is very nice. A great place to chill out and watch the waves.
Taz mania — Google review
The cafe and museum were closed when we arrived but that didn't ruin it for us. We wandered around and enjoyed the waves smash against the rocks and take in the sun. The road is rough in some parts so take your time, no doubt you'll be in a rental. Just use your head driving - slow and steady will win the race. Apparently the cafe is closed a lot so bring bottled water at least.
Gareth — Google review
Lighthouse at the southern end of Fuerteventura. Although the last part (19km) of the access road from Morro Jable is an unpaved one, it is motorable with a normal car. Scenic landscape along the way with a few diversions possible to different view points.
The lighthouse itself is imposing and is functional

Great vistas. You feel like you are on the tip of the world. Definitely worth a visit, especially in the evening. The drive towards it is a bit winding though. So, drive carefully.
Akhilesh Maganti — Google review
One of the most windy and beautiful spots in FUE.
You can feel the strong force of nature right here. There is also a Museum in the adjacent building. Free entry!
Thomas Roemhild — Google review
Nice view, but not much to do. You are not allowed to go to the top of the lighthouse (probably safety reasons). But you can enter the ground floor, where there was an island exhibition (when I visited the place).
By the lighthouse is a small building, which resembles a bar / shop. But it was empty, at the time of my visit.
I would recommend visiting, only if you are visiting something else nearby. The road to the lighthouse is bumpy one.
The Casa de Colón, located in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, is an extravagant former governor's residence that was visited by Christopher Columbus during his voyages. This prominent museum showcases a collection of artwork and ceramics from various historical periods. The museum's grand Gothic-style exterior and impressive architecture are complemented by its extensive displays of memorabilia related to Columbus and his numerous expeditions. Additionally, the district surrounding the Casa de Colón offers architectural highlights such as elaborately carved wooden balconies.
As much as I don't like or respect the character of colonialist Christopher Columbus, I must say this museum is one of the finest in the city. I was reluctant to paying a visit, but I don't regret having done it. Throughout its two floors + the crypt, the museum holds some very interesting exhibitions, and all very varied; from detailed descriptions of Columbus' trips to the American continent, to exquisite paintings, miniatures, info about the social and historical origins of the island of Gran Canaria and pre-columbian art. Definitely a must when visiting the island. There's audioguides in different languages and even two parrots roaming about freely!

Nice museum, lovely Spanish courtyard, very interesting maps. I was very disappointed about the personnel. I was wearing the mask as required but the assistant ( his behaviour was very close to franquista (fascist policeman), he was very obsessed and very concentrated to control people into the museum. I know the Spanish people apparently is friendly but in reality is very closed and aggressive. I was scared and decided to exit.
Ste Testa — Google review
The museum was before the former Governor’s house, it has a very interesting architecture, large patio and carved wooden ceilings. It is claimed that Christopher Columbus stayed there in 1492. Although the museum has several sections with artifacts, paintings and maps, I was expecting to find out more chronological information about the history of Canary Islands and its indigenous inhabitants.

An interesting part of history, well presented. Friendly staff on hand to help. My phone was playing up, so I couldn't download the English guide. That was down to me, but it was good that it was available ( and free!). Even without the guide, there was plenty to see and understand. It was clear and interesting. A fascinating attraction, well worth a visit.

Here you can walk in the footsteps of Columbus. You can learn about the island and it's strategic location on those famous voyages back in the 15th century.
Well kept building. Amazing wooden ceiling and pretty courtyard can be found inside.
2 lovely parrots as extras to entertain visitors. They are truly amazing creatures and can be super loud but they are fine surrounded by people in the yard.
I recommend to pop in and check out this building!

An interesting museum, but I am very disappointed that not a single picture that hung on the wall is in English. Not to mention that there were 2,3 girls standing next to the ticket office, obviously for money, and ask God how much they go and explain about the museum BUT no one instructed us in anything, everyone was totally uninterested in me and my boyfriend for our visit to the museum that I was very sorry to give 8 € for entrance.

Wonderful building and an impressive collection of art. I have 4 stars instead of the full 5 as I struggled to find any representation from women artists. Also, the basement was used to present relics from South American countries which were fascinating but the basement of the old building had so much historical interest in its own right which was ignored. Such a shame.

Well kept place. Free entrance. Spectacular building. Beautiful paintings inside, some of them from the XVII century. 3D models of Las Palmas in different stages of development.
When on Gran Canaria, you got to visit.
Tomasz Wrzosek — Google review
Very cheap to get in, the highlights were the cartography room and the crypt, which you could easily miss. There's a lot of portraits too if that is your think, and there are some excellent copies of documents from the voyages. Ethical points aside, the collection of indigenous artefacts is impressive and the setting for them is fantastic.
Stuart Saint — Google review
Interesting museum about the life and voyages of Christopher Columbus. Very reasonable entry price. However, please note the entry had to be paid by card as no cash transactions were permitted.
Morag Brown — Google review
Nice building, full oh history, you have to stop by if you are in Las Palmas. You can find a lot of parking in the area nearby that are neither so expensive. We really enjoy the visit of this museum, unfortunately we hadn't enough time to go through well all the interesting things that we found there.

Historic, and an essential place to visit for seafarers, because Columbus is the first ever great seafarer and explorer who discovered the Americas.
I did not have time to catch the place in the day so I was not able to enter it. Some other time maybe.
A D — Google review
We visited for free on a Sunday. Lots of interesting artworks, mostly from Spain/Canary Islands. A few original pieces by Rembrandt and other Dutch artists.
The house has two levels above ground and one underground (with mostly South American cultures pieces). Different levels only accessible by stairs. Wonderful many centuries old quilt between first and second floor.
Amenities: toilets in okay condition, lots of benches to rest on. Most info on Columbus’ is only in Spanish, artworks in Spanish and English.
Bonus: Two friendly macaws in one of the inner courtyards and a nice little gift shop.

Beautiful house to visit and interesting displays about Christopher Columbus, though I do think it could be ordered a bit better in English to give the history chronologically.

As a Filipino, we are known as Mall goers, we have large malls in the Philippines, and this place is just so refreshing, it is almost the same as strolling along a big mall, but this is an open space, with natural cool air, and stalls bear history and culture.

Plaza de Santa Ana is a charming square situated in the historical Vegueta district of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Notably, it features a stunning cathedral, the Santa Ana Cathedral, and two iconic bronze dog sculptures at its entrance. Other notable buildings in the vicinity are the 17th-century Palacio Regental and remnants of the Bishops palace that was devastated by fire. The Museo Diocesano de Arte Sacro also houses an impressive collection of religious art.
It is a lovely square next to the cathedral of Santa Ana in Las Palmas which is surrounded by impressive old buildings . I would recommend visiting the cathedral ,it costs 2€ and you can get on the top and get access to a stunning view of the Plaza de Santa Ana and the city.I'm sure that the elegant architecture and the irresistible energy will make your visit unforgettable.
Moreover, there are some nice terrace bars, where you can sit down for anything ranging a glass of wine to a tapa.

Very nice peaceful clean plaza to hang out in the lovely under-rated Old Town of Las Palmas. Visited during a weekday in early May and very quiet. It was a cloudy day otherwise photos would have been really nice. We visited the cathedral and museum afterwards which is definitely worth the 3 euros.

I hope that this place lives forever in my memories because it is wonderful. Very charming whether day or night. My favorite moment in this plaza was the warm night before we left the island, stomach full of tapas and Spanish beer, cool wind, flowers in bloom, moon light shining down, and people all around quietly conversing or playing toss with their dogs. Go make some island memories at Plaza de Santa Ana!

One of the beautiful squares of Las Palmas located in the old part of the city, which is ideal for evening and morning walks. Great atmosphere of the streets and old buildings. You can see 8 green metal dogs. They represent the history of the name of Canaries islands. It wasn't from birds that the Canary Islands, known in Spanish as Islas Canarias, got their name, but dogs, or perhaps seals depending on what you believe. The name comes from the Latin word for dog, canaria, and was given by the first Europeans to arrive here

The beach is excellent. It is sandy with nice water and it is also very long so you can find different interesting spots where to stay. In the northern part the water is calm, in the middle you can find rocks in the water so be careful and in the southern part there are waves suitable for surfing. I would 100% recommend!

Good beach, quality and space improves as you head towards La isleta. Endless restaurants and bars along the whole beach. There are also showers and tap for washing of feet. Beach is fairly peaceful and we were not disturbed by beach vendors.

Very diverse and enjoyable beach! Plenty of sand :) ranging from normal gold towards Isleta to almost black near the surfing center. Weather is always warmer during the low tide in the first half of the day, rocks in the ocean are visible and all the rainbow fishes are out and easy to watch - they come close to the bay. You can even feed them-great fun for kids. Also this is a good time for snorkeling as waves are low.
In the second part of the day there's high tide and waves are huge, mixed with sand. The ocean takes back quickly most of the beach.

We were staying on a hotel right on the beach so it was great to just pop out of the room and relax there. The beach is really clean (saw it being cleaned every morning), the waters are really nice and there is enough space for everyone. The promenade around the beach is a nice place to walk around and is filled with bars and restaurants of all sorts. Highly recommended if you are in the area !!
Jardín Botánico Canario Viera y Clavijo, situated in Tafira Alta in the northeast of Gran Canaria, showcases the surprising lushness of the island with its diverse collection of around 500 plant species. These include native flora from the Canary Islands and other Macaronesian islands, as well as imported cacti and succulents.
Beautiful garden. If you enter from the down entrance, you have a cactus garden and different spaces ornated with specific plants, lakes and a waterfall. A lot of places to stay cool and enjoy the shadows. Then I recommend going up the hill on the rocky steep paths. You will have an extended view over the garden and the valley below.
Vlad Danciu — Google review
A pleasant and enjoyable way to pass a couple of hours.
I didn't find the main part of the gardens to be run down or poorly maintained as some other reviewers describe. The paths leading down from the car park to the west of the gardens are steep and uneven in parts so I would suggest that those with mobility problems avoid this entrance. There is an alternative entrance to the east of the park which provides access to the main gardens where the paths are well maintained.
I enjoyed spending a couple of hours amongst the various trees, plants and water pools. It's a peaceful place to walk around in. There is no shop or cafe so take refreshments with you. The toilets were clean. There is no entry or parking charge.
I recommend you visit, and I would visit again if in the area.

Awesome cactus garden for a family trip!! There is parking space above and below and we do definitely recommend parking below, at the lower level. This way you are not forced to climb the sometimes rather narrow pathways to the garden but can decide for yourselves. Entrance and parking is free of charge.

Loved the Botanical Gardens! We entered at the top and wove our way down the paths along the hillside, to the bottom, through fascinating flora, and the sounds of birds. There are interesting sculptures, a fountain where the wise men behind the gardens and the study of indigenous flora are commemorated, special groupings of plants from other places (including a fascinating collection of palm trees), waterways, and good signage. I absolutely recommend taking the time to visit the gardens!

On our final day in Las Palmas, my girlfriend was adamant about visiting the Botanic Garden. While I was initially hesitant and skeptical about spending our time there amidst the lush greenery, my doubts were quickly shattered. To my amazement, the Botanic Garden turned out to be an enchanting oasis that left an indelible mark on my memory. This destination was far from ordinary—it was a realm of extraordinary beauty. If you ever find yourself in the vicinity, I implore you to pay a visit to this remarkable place. Its allure is not to be missed.

It can be said that it is nice for a free park. Especially the garden with cacti was very nice. There are giant cactus trees and different types of cacti. It's worth a few hours. Fish, insects and plants in tiny pools should also be seen. The toilets located at different points inside were also clean. Also, the security guards were polite and helpful.

Great botanic garden in Gran Canaria with a great variety of cactus to see and also offers an interesting hike. It is much bigger than I expected and you can easily spend 2-3 hours here wandering about in a lovely sunny day. Definitely worth a visit. Plus It is free entry which is a bonus ;)

The place definitely has some untapped potential but currently looks like no one cares to make it work. Some areas are interesting, but majority of garden is just dirt, dry plants and nothing to see. Would love to have more info about plants not only general. Don’t bother to go up to the hill - apart from views same plants over and over again.

The garden is interesting but the trails are not well marked. The map at the lower entrance ( which Google directed us to) is scanned via a QR code. This garden plan is not easy to use when viewing on a phny
The trail up to the main entrance where the mirador is, is very steep, narrow in places and there is no handrail or barrier. Due to vertigo, we chose to drive to the main entrance to see the mirador.
There is a restaurant at the main entrance, we didn't visit it as it looked somewhat formal for our needs.

If you choose the right time of year, this place will delight you. The garden area is 27 hectares, and a walk around this wonderful place will take you 3-4.5 hours and will remain in your memory for a long time. All plants have been carefully categorized and described, and there are over 2,000 species, including 500 endemic ones. Admission to the garden and parking is free.
I recommend👍

The biggest botanical garden in Spain, the place is so massive and entertaining it honestly feels more like an amusement park for plants and nature.
The place is slightly inconvenient to reach by public transport but it’s absolutely worth it, and it’s all free. Spare a day for it and if you think you’ll get hungry make sure you reserve a seat at their amazing but quite packed restaurant.
Zoran Gjorgiev — Google review
Fabulous public gardens containing every type of plant from across the islands.
The mixture of climate conditions, soil and landscape variations makes for the perfect site for the botanical gardens.
Wandering around the well designed and cared for site is an absolute joy. Both relaxing and fascinating at the same time.
Several of the plants and views are guaranteed to take your breath away in more ways than one as some of the paths up the steep hillside are demanding and even treacherous in places.
There's a little restaurant at the top of the hillside and carparks both below and above.
Amazingly, the park is free to enter.

A must see place in your first day in our opinion. We are not plant people but it changed our experience for the rest of our 7 days trip. Recognizing what we saw here during our trips was a bliss. So nicely done and organized, very rich park. Really helpful staff too.

Beautiful and huge garden. You can enter and see everything for free. The section with cactuses is especially breath taking.

A beautiful botanical gardens with free entry. The collections of palms and cacti is particularly interesting. If visiting however bear in mind that there is nowhere to get a drink in the park - it’s a good idea to bring some water on a hot day.

Cool place to stay for some 1,5-2h. Parking is also quite big . You should come here if you are in Gran Canaria. The largest botanic garden in Spain. It says something even this fact

Cocodrilo Park Gran Canaria is an exotic animal rescue center located in Aguimes on the Grand Canary Island. The park features a diverse range of species, with opportunities to witness live crocodile, bird, and monkey feedings. Additionally, visitors can enjoy zoo exhibits and interact with the animals. This educational yet entertaining experience is available in Spanish, English, and German languages.
Amazing place! You can see how the employees truly care about the animals there. Important to know is that this isn't a regular animal park, but a sanctuary for rescued animals.
You do get information about all of them and I do think especially if you're with kids, it's a great place to visit. The entrance fee is fair and considering that you help the animals, it's a reason more to visit.
The toilets are nice and clean. There's a little restaurant inside, with simple, but good meals.

Fantastic experience!
This isn't just a normal park, this is a rescue park.
All the animals looked well cared for and happy.
Interactive talks given throughout the day from the staff. I highly recommend you attend the talks because they are very informative.
Highly recommend visiting the rescue park. We really enjoyed it.
The entrance price into the park is very affordable and you can spend a full day there if you take your time.
There's a restaurant, although we didn't try it.
We did try the snack bar though and got some lovely smoothies, which were priced well.

I'm super happy with this park! The fact that there are rescue animals there is amazing. It's not expensive at all, and the quality of the place is much higher than I expected.
Dora Varga (Elyon) — Google review
I was not too sure what to expect here but this is a brilliant little place providing security and a nurturing environment to rescue and seized crocodiles, tigers, reptiles and more. The staff are knowledgable and very friendly. You can even walk through the bird enclosure at certain times. A highlight was feeding time for the crocs! If anything it would be nice to read a little more information about where the animals came from but overall a reasonably priced and well worth trip out to see.
Tom Ellinson — Google review
It’s a rescue centre with a big variety of animals not only crocodiles.
We’ve seen snakes, monkeys, lemurs, parrots, ducks, chickens, lamas, deers, tortoises, iguana and more.
Very nice place to spend some time with kids if you have any.
In the park it’s a little bit windy but the weather was still very nice.
The bar on the park had some good choices and I drank a very nice and refreshing berry kiss smoothie, it was 10/10.
On the last part of the park you can buy food to feed the animals and interact with them.
The only thing we didn’t like was the fact that we didn’t see the tiger, the cage was empty. And on the get your guide reviews it showed pictures of people interacting with baby crocodiles and that didn’t happen also but maybe because we went on a Sunday, besides that it’s a very nice park.
Raquel Moiane — Google review
Simply awesome! Not a zoo in the traditional way, but a rescue center where animals with a history of mistreatment are given a second chance. It is clear that they care very well for the animals there, so it was great to see so many animals enjoy life!
My wife and I had a great time, so it's definitely recommended, if you love animals too!
Kasper Hansen — Google review
Nice little park. Worth a visit, you can spend 2-3 hours here.
Some animals were difficult so see though and parts of the park had little shade so it was extremely hot. Also the maintenance can be improved as it didn’t all look too clean and for example the “birds walkthrough” was closed, which was a shame.
Erik — Google review
Fantastic place to go staff wonderful and very caring they really care about the animals and you can see it. For a place that is a rescue and relies on people coming to keep going, it's really clean and tidy. The shop/restaurant is a bit expensive but clean and a nice little place for kids to play while you eat. We would 1000% recommend taking your kids to this place 👌 👍.

Not a bad zoo. Quite small, but expected for the price. Mainly focused on crocodiles and other reptiles as the name suggests. There are a few different shows - mostly feedings. The bird one has you sitting with the birds which is really fun experience. There is a small cafe that has food for a reasonable price. Definitely worth a visit.

I thought this was a wonderful place . Went to all the animal feedings which were informative and in Spanish , English and German . Was very out of the way but well worth the money to take a taxi . Thoroughly enjoyed my day and somewhat made my trip to the island even better than it was .

Interesting place with many animals, who were rescued or seized by authorities. Very informative for kids and adults as well. There were many opportunities to get closer to the animals while they were fed and the staff told stories about them in Spanish, German and English

I love this place so much. I went here with my family while on a trip to Gran Canaria.
The had a variety of animals, and they all seemed healthy. I also met one of the cutest birds I have ever met, I decided to name it Pico.
Not only that, but the food was surprisingly good and the bathrooms were really clean. I highly recommended this place!

Had an amazing experience here. This rescue park has a wide variety of rescue animals. From different reptiles to deer, crocodiles and even chimpanzees. I love the way how the zoo keepers are very interactive and actively let you know if a feeding time was going on. They are very enthusiastic too and draw you in and very educational. It's rare you get to have so many close encounters with so many animals. Would definitely reccomend. There is a main car park if you drive past the park on your left if the the park entrance is on the left.

We loved the park it was one of our highlights at GC. (we are a couple without children)
I like the idea that the animals are rescued and are treated nicely. The price is also quite good to get in.
The staff is mega nice and they always informed us when there was a show (feeding crocodiles / birds etc) going on. They also do dangerous shows like feeding crocodiles directly etc. And they bring some reptiles around to show them to the visitors. It was very informative and entertaining. Definitely a place to go.

Fabulous zoo with lots to see and wonderful shows. It's on the small side for a zoo but really fills the space. There's very little walking between enclosures. The pathways are a little narrow but fine. Lots of coverage from the sun.
There's a small restaurant with a limited range of snack foods but it's perfect for the size of this place. Plenty seating available.
The staff are wonderful. Informative, helpful and friendly.

Wonderful place. Quite busy even at the start of working hours, but all visitors fill the area and it is not too crowded inside. Recommendations to wait for the show of birds, who can freely walk between spectators. Best atraction for kids !

Cocodrilo Park is a great place to visit for animal lovers and those looking for a different kind of experience.
The park is home to many species of animals, including crocodiles, snakes, birds, and turtles. There are also feeding shows and animal interactions, making it a great place to learn about these animals.
The staff at Cocodrilo Park are very knowledgeable and friendly. They are always happy to answer any questions you may have and will help you to make the most of your visit.
If you are looking for a fun and educational day out, I highly recommend visiting Cocodrilo Park. You won't be disappointed!

This is an amazing rescue centre which clearly takes very good care of their animals. They’ve all come from traumatic backgrounds so it’s great to see them looking so confident and relaxed in their new home. I would’ve liked to see some more vegan/non-meat options in the restaurant/cafe - it’s a bit ironic serving meat here. This location is also only accessible really by taxi/car, but 1000% worth the trip!

The Sioux City theme park in San Augustine offers a variety of Western-themed activities for visitors of all ages. There are cowboy shows, BBQs, Western dancing, and a small zoo that's perfect for kids. The park is well worth the visit whether you're in the area for a day or spending the weekend.
Amazing full day out for all the family! Was there from 10am until at least 4.
Well worth every £££ definitely go again!!!
Ticket admission includes a free meal and 1 cold beverage (alcoholic drink if preferred).
The bbq area for the meal opens on around half 1, you can get Angus steak burger, pork chops, sausage, & potatoes. However we paid extra and went on a horse ride for half an hour, the by the time we got to the grill area they had stopped cooking the Angus burgers and we don’t like pork chops. They were very pleasant, accommodating our needs and n they made us chicken burger and chips fresh instead!
There are a few shows in the day, a magic act, cowboy& Indians play set in the streets that surround you, a horse whisperer show, a cowboys shoot off/ dancing & a clown act. Be aware that most of these they pick people from the audience to participate in!!!
Western themed around the whole park, takes you back in time. Great fun for kids and adults alike. Many dressed up as cowboys and Indians especially the kids. They have a great souvenir shop that you can kit yourself out in at a price! They also have farm animal feed that you can buy to feed the goats and baby pig with!
Overall great day out & something different to experience :)

Between 10:30am and 3pm there was good few shows. It was nice. Place isn't very big, you can see everything in an hour but they won't let you get bored. Let's be honest for €25 it's well worth it.
There is a bbq buffet for extra €15, beer in a saloon costs €4.5
We had a good day there. I recommend especially if you have children. It is a family friendly place. Only problem was the wheelchair access. Its a sand and gravel road, depends on a wheelchair you may have some problems. Beside that it was really fun.

At first I thought the park was going to be boring and quite money grabing, but man was I wrong. The shows are amazing!!
I traveled there on sunday so I saw the bank robbery and the saloon show. So to begin, it is worth to visit early - around 11 am so you don't miss the shows.
The bank robbery show is quite amazing. The actors do a great job. The loud bangs of guns, fast gallops of horses and loud shouting. You really feel like you traveled back in time to wild west. Also the story of the show drags you in like a movie - the whole lot of visitors laugh during the show - so great times (:
The saloon show is also great and entertaining, because actors include the visitors in it too - great fun.
The actors are all kind and you can see they enjoy their job so you feel also welcome in the theme park.
Also got some amazing photos I am sharing below so I must say I really had fun!!

I loved it, I’m so happy we visited

It was our last day on the island and my sons wanted to come here and I’m glad we did, I was a bit sceptical but absolutely enjoyed every minute.
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was full of fun and shows.
You can hire a horse for some horse riding, feed some goats there is a saloon for some typical pub food (it was good food).
The shows feel like they never stop the entertainment keeps flowing, there is enough time in between shows to grab some food and souvenirs.
If you want the full experience if you get the chance make sure you participate in the shows especially the last show in the bar, I’m not going to say too much (but you will want to 🔫💥)

Small entertainment park depicting the life of American Prarie many years ago. The park doesn't look much, but the staff and the animals make up for all of that!
You will find a few hidden gems like the enigmatic village fool, the strong and powerful (and bendy) lady!
The park is open from 10 till 15 with stories being told in the middle of the street, in front of the bank and in the saloon.
Feeding and riding the animals was the top attraction for the kids, whereas the slapstick comedy was for many to enjoy.
Don't expect "attractions or rides", the people telling the story and the small town itself is the attraction! Be here on time and be sure to watch the staff. They are the show... and it is not well conveyed when and where the next story takes place.
All in all had a amazing day in a tiny and freakishly warm town, which looks like a movie set and felt as warm too.

There is so much to say! Cast and crew were superb, the shows were interactive and amazing. I took my Daughter on a girls day out and I was more than impressed.
She was made to feel like a princess of the west and that was just in the shop it was better with each step we took. They were very busy but still took time to speak with all the visitors and they are family orientated with plenty for adults too.
You can take the free bus, various resort pick ups so check the locations on the timetable, the staff will call for a taxi if you miss the bus (we chose to), they stayed until we were safely in the taxi.
The kindness from each staff member was heart-warming and made my Daughter feel like she was a VIP.
They have farm animals that you can view and interact with some of them and the staff knowledge of them is fantastic. Horse rides are available (extra fee), be sure to check out the barbecue (extra fee) and buildings.
Lots to experience here, prices are very reasonable for the experience and I would highly recommend!

Made us very happy to see how well all the animals are taken care of. Clean, well fed ,happy and loved. Bathrooms were spotless and everything around as well. The actors were amazing!! So kind towards children and us adults as well. The bbq was really good 👍.
I would like to thank all the actors staff and all the people that work there ,for the wonderful work you're doing!!

Absolutely the highlight of my holiday. As a lover of horses, animals and Red Dead Redemption 2, I felt like I was living my Wild West dreams on this trip. Definitely arrive on time as there are lots of entertaining shows and it's all planned out. Gift shop is great and some really lovely hats and caps in there. The shows are soo funny and the actors absolutely brilliant. If you love animals, you get to hold baby goats, feed goats and piglets and stroke the horses. There's also a chance to ride the horses for the kids. The food is slightly expensive but massive portions and very tasty. I can hardly fault this place but if I could give 1 bit of advice it would be to leave a little bit longer between each show as we nearly missed the Wild West show as we were still eating lunch and didn't get chance to take the kids on the horse ride as we went for lunch when it was on. We didn't realise we should of ordered food whilst watching the Illusionist show! But other than that it's an absolutely fantastic day out and so different!

Fantastic day out from start to finish. Lovely free Bus scenic view trip from Amadores Beach all the way to the Entrance and a return trip home later. Great place to go with some fab shows spread out during the time there. Don't want to spoil it for others but some fab acting and Gun shoot outs along with lots of time to walk around taking loads of photos and exploring the Wild West City. Would highly recommend and will definitely go again. Took tons of photos and videos.
Just returned from another visit today and again had another amazing experience. All the staff do a fantastic job and the shows are amazing. Definitely get value for your money and well worth the trip.
A little tip though. When you are in the saloon watching the last act at 14:10 don't sit near the front as those "Guns" are extremely loud 🤣🤣.

The Cueva Pintada Museum and Archaeological Park is a significant pre-Hispanic site on Gran Canaria, discovered by a local farmer in the late 19th-century. It features a cave adorned with geometric shapes that possibly relate to lunar and solar calendars. The museum displays ancient artifacts from the area, offering guided tours for visitors. This archaeological site is wheelchair-friendly and conveniently located in the heart of town, making it easily accessible to all who wish to explore its history and beauty.
Me and my family found La Cueva and the Tour super interesting. There is a lot of work done that is worth seeing. The personal was amazing and very helpful. This trip works also as complementary one to my hiking routes through Gran Canaria. It was well ventilated and clean, parking was a bit hard but doable. For elderly people, the way to the caves is easy and accessible. A must if you want to know more about the Canary Islands history.

Very nice miseum, lovely hosts and hostesses who guide you around with a lot of knowledge and patience. Sundays you can visit the museum for free. The video about the first island inhabitants was very well made.

You can tell they put a lot of money and effort into this small museum. It seems like most people are taken around in tours. Though I could not find tour information on the website. I would have made the effort to come at a certain time in order to have an English tour. I arrived around 1 and was told there were no more English tours. Walking around by myself was fine, there are lots of screens with English as an option. It was not busy so I was able to select English. Signage was not great, staff kept correcting where I was going. The excavation site is interesting though if you've seen other older bigger cave paintings around the world this might not be so impressive.

it’s a lovely museum, partly open air, and it’s free on sundays. you can choose self or guided tour (which ends up to be the same anyway) but the entrance is “timed”
the staff is super interesting, speaks many languages (not french) and are very friendly. they love their jobs, it comes across loud and clear, the pride in the aboriginal people with which they feel a strong connection. no photos nor videos allowed in the painted cave.

Part of a larger village has been exposed under cover. They are still digging to uncover the history. We managed to get a free tour as it was a Sunday, and oir guide spoke good English. The Spanish invaders do not come off well in this interpretation.
As it is free on Sundays, the museum gets very busy. You can turn up to get tickets, but as they are popular you need to plan ahead if you want a specific time. The foreign language tours are much quieter than the Spanish-speaking ones on these days.

Very well presented archeological dig. No photos allowed of the piece de résistance (the painted cave) which was frustrating, but nice "recreations" of typical Guanche house interiors. Worth a visit, but not spectacular.

If you are interested in how things happened 800 years ago, you'll enjoy the Paonted Cave. Although we opted for a self-guided tour, the staff volunteered to show us around and explain everything - in English! They are very keen and interested in the cave and its surrounding settlement and that enthusiasm shows through. To be honest its not a very exciting place but we spent a very entertaining 90 minutes there and also discovered the lovely town that houses it. Worth the excursion.

Amazing museum and archeological site! One of the best we’ve seen. We were lucky and got a free tour in English for 1:40h, with a very dedicated tour guide. It’s unbelievable that you can still see the pre-colonial times there and the cave, as I’m sure in some years it’s destiny will become Altamira’s or so… stop by if you’re a history and archeology lover!
PS: They have access for people with disabilities, too, which is great.

Definitely a recommendation if you want to enjoy the history of the island.
We joined one of the guided tours and definitely recommend doing that.
Do look at the website for a tour in your language as it seems like there's only one tour in each language per day.
We were lucky enough to be multilingual, so for us it didn't matter, but a lot of info the guide had to share wasn't written down.
The rest of the city is lovely too!
Mariska Poiesz — Google review
Interesting remains of a village built into the hillside by the island's original inhabitants, hundreds of years before the Spanish arrived. The painted cave itself is sealed off to protect it, with a glass passageway that lets you stand inside without interfering with the controlled climate. Photos aren't allowed inside the cave, but you do get a good view of the geometric patterns painted on the walls.
Guided tours are available in various languages, and the staff are very friendly and helpful if (like me) you arrive between tours and don't want to hang around. Maybe it's just because I visited in January and it was quite quiet, but I would have had to wait over an hour for the next tour.
The attached museum has a couple of short films about the history of the island and the background of the village (again, the staff will put these on for you in whatever language you need). The first one in particular gets quite dark (spoiler: the arrival of the Spanish on the island doesn't end well for the natives) and includes some brief nudity, in case that bothers you.
The museum also includes various items found at the site, from pots and plates to tiny figurines and carved stamps. There are also a couple of recreated houses in the village to show how they might have looked originally.
Aside from that, there are a few quick videos on screens scattered around the site explaining various things, and an AR app for your phone, although I only noticed one spot with a QR code to use it at, and that wasn't very exciting. Overall it could maybe have done with a little more information to help picture what the various structures were and understand the site.
Once you get inside there's a raised metal walkway going around the whole site, giving you good views across the village. Lifts are available to take you between levels, for anyone who needs them.
John Bye — Google review
Very friendly and helpful staff - all English speaking - guided us around this interesting museum. There were several videos to watch that explained the history of the indigenous population and the way that they lived in caves on the island. Lots of stairs but lifts available too. All under cover so perfect in the unlikely event of rain. The town square and the old dragon tree in a building on it are worth seeing whilst you’re there.

We absolutely loved it here. Easy to find just of the main square by the tourist information office. Our tour guide Alba was amazing and gave us so much information and answered all our questions. We learnt a lot about the original inhabitants of Gran Canaria and its history from her. We saw a short film about original settlers and artefacts found on site and in the local area and learnt what they were used for and about their lives . We walked around the excavation site town and found out about what the builds were used for. We saw the remains of cave houses and the reconstruction of 2 style round houses. Their was a short film of how the houses were constructed . We also saw the famous painted cave which is being preserved and she explained what archaeologists thought the paintings were and what they used for colours. Their are lots of steps, but those in our group with mobility issues used the lifts to access other levels. This was offered by Alba and they did not even have to ask. Their were toilets and a well stocked gift shop. A must see visit if you are in Galdar and like history and want to learn about the area. Older children would find this very interesting. Make sure you have a guided tour in your language rather than a self tour. We were here about 2 hours and had a pre booked guided tour in English.

Do not visit with children. Even if you do not take guided tour you have to wait for the guide to let you in different rooms and then they demand you to just sit with the child and wait while the guide talks. And then if the child makes any noise (which is normal with kids) the security guy asks to be silent. Rude employees. Nothing special to see (as much as we saw as we basically were forced to leave as it was impossible to stay with a child there. Spent 12€ for nothing just to wait 30 min to get in, then 15 minutes more waits inside and rude people. Very disappointed and wanted to get the money back but of course they did not.
Palmitos Park is a must-visit attraction on Gran Canaria, offering a diverse range of experiences for the whole family. The park is divided into five areas: Birds, The Garden, Aquarium, Reptiles, and Mammals. Visitors can explore the Cage of Lories to see colorful birds from around the world and the House of Butterflies, which boasts being the largest in Europe.
Really enjoyable day out. We could easily spend 4-5 hrs there with the different live displays. You can really see the ecological factor/learning that goes on with the animals and it's really nice to see the handlers with such passion for their animals.
Would recommend the birds of prey show.
All toilets had a baby change and were clean. Good gift shop which serves ice cream.
We had a hire car but there is also a bus directly from Maspalomas.
Restaurant is priced similar to the tourist locations but was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food (specifically the burger).

We went to Palmitos Park and I was rather disappointed in comparison to other zoos on the canaries.
Beautiful orchids in the orchid garden.
I enjoyed the dolphins, definitely go to both shows if you have time as they are different shows.
The road travelling in is a bit hairy in places.
The signage could be better.
Large car park.
Lots of toilets.
Great restaurant, reasonable priced meals.
The gift shop is expensive.

Not a bad zoo by any means, but not sure if it's worth the price. Definitely a lot to see, but nothing particularly spectacular. Add the steep uphill climb and the scorching hot weather and it becomes quire a risk for heat stroke. There are a few shows, of which we seen the one with dolphins and it was nice. Quite a lot of exotic birds which was nice. There is a restaurant there but it is really expensive for what it is. So would recommend bringing your own food.

Amazing park in Gran Canaria with lots of local animals, a big variety of birds with very interesting bird shows in the mountainous areas. dolphin shows are also very entertaining. It’s perfect for family day out. A really fun and lonely experience. Definitely should visit if you are at the island and love animals :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE this zoo! It was massive and we spent nearly 5 hours there!! So much to see and different shows on at different times! The dolphin show was amazing! Such talented and amazing creatures!! You can tell their animals are well cared for and happy! There was lots of restaurants also but we didn’t eat there! They also had an aquarium and a butterfly house! I recommend buying tickets before hand as it is cheaper!

absolutely beautiful park. we booked tickets through our hotel and got a €3 discount per person and our 2 year went free.
the dolphin show was amazing! there were many seats available and lots of shading. we also saw the birds of prey show and i got to catch an eagle on my arm. however there was no shading for this show so it got quite hot sat in the 90°F weather.
this park does require tons of walking so be prepared for that. expect to spend at least 4-5 hours here especially if you are with young children.

Great zoo with plenty to see and do. It’s built on a hill so be prepared for some walking but it’s very much worth it. Plenty of places around to get water and drinks when it’s hot and plenty of toilet facilities too. Don’t miss the indoor bird house where for €2 you can get a little tub of bird milk and the birds will land on your hand to drink it. Dolphin show is fantastic too and you can get your picture take with the dolphin. Overall great day out for and adults and families.

Palmitos is quite simply the best park of its kind. To watch the birds of prey being flown out over the Canyon is a joy to behold, closely followed by the gorgeous exotic birds. The dolphin show is better than anything we've seen in Florida.

We really enjoyed our visit to Palmitos Park. It was a very hot day and there's lots of walking involved but there are lots of shaded areas you can stop and get refreshments. The dolphin show was amazing. You get the opportunity to have a photo taken with the dolphins (at an extra cost). There's a huge variety of birds there and and walk through butterfly House.
Definitely recommend going here

A great place for the family or friends, loads of interesting animals to see and a few shows to see, there is a few photo opportunities with some of the animals but you do have to pay. prices for food and drinks were quite expensive so i would bring your own if your not prepared to splash out. Overall we had a lovely experience there.

Really good zoo set amongst the volcanic mountains.
Picturesque setting but very steep pathways to negotiate so need to be fairly agile
An amazing collection of animals, all well looked after.
Exotic bird show, raptor show and the best dolphin show I've ever seen are all included with entrance fee.
You need to allow at least three hours for a complete your.
Well worth a visit if you're ever in Gran Canaria

Fantastic park in Gran Canaria. If you hire a car 15 minutes drive from Maspalomas. The park is in the mountains so only recommend well experienced drivers otherwise use taxi or bus ( both reasonable price )
We stayed 5 hours but can easily spend more time.
Be prepared a comfortable shoes and clothes lots of walk up and down on the hill.
Highly recommend Birds of Pray and Dolphins show.
Birds of pray show there is no shelter so take a hat, suncream and plenty of drinks with you. Dolphins show perfectly in the shades.
Food and drink price is the same like every other tourist spots but queue is quite long.
Plenty of bench so you can sit and ate your own pack lunch.
You can have a photo with dolphins, eagles or parrots for a bit extra money.
Overall highly recommend and fantastic memory for our family !

Brilliant park, very well laid out with places to get out of the sun/heat. Lovely seeing the animals. The Dolphin show was my favourite part of the park oh and the Birds of Prey.
We ate in the restaurant and the food was good with friendly staff 😋
My only complaint would be the busy service No.70 from Global Buses, an absolute disgrace.

Amazing day out, even though the weather was 49c the day we were there. The only advice is to take extra drinks and snacks as the prices are very expensive!!
The Dolphin show was fantastic and very well trained. Staff were lovely.

Palmitos Park is an amazing park! Great atmosphere. Saw plenty of shows, both engaging and entertaining. It is a small park but still spent four hours in it! Bird show on top of the summit offers some incredible views of the birds in motion as well as the surrounding hills, mountains scenery.
Definitely one to visit! Walked straight in to buy tickets, no wait. Wasn't necessary to but our tickets in advance.

Somewhat off the beaten track - make sure you follow the signs along the valley floor. Worth the entry fee this is a well laid out animal park with plenty of shows to experience. Whilst there are food and beverage facilities available we enjoyed a pack lunch at one of the many seating areas . Alow a full day to see everything, making sure not to miss the shows by checking the times at the entrance.

Found this place and thought we would visit quite out of the way so cost quite a bit by taxi to get here, didn't need to que to get in which was nice but 35 euro per adult, we saw meerkats kimono dragon and lots of different birds. You can go and watch them fly, dolphins again can watch a show and an aquarium, lots of places to eat and rest and an amazing orchid house, had a really good day the only thing to note is its very hilly so be prepared to walk.

Our family was so happy in the park but only reason for a 4 stars is the price for everything.
We all know the park cost a lot for water, food, and other things but you can easily spend €200 for this event.
Also there is so hot. There is nothing ebove your head when you're on the dolfins show.
Otherwise the shows and the park is great.
You can buy tickets and food online and some money. The pizza was great, chicken nuggets with chips also. The coke was huge.
Check the shows timetable and you can save some steps.

Very nice park and perfect for a day tour.
There are different shows, so it’s good to check their schedule in advance. Kids love this place.
There very few restaurants in the park.

Lovely natural park. Mainly birds but a few small mammals and reptiles plus dolphin, butterflies, orchids, and an aquarium. Rather pricey with no concessions for pensioners. Walking not for the faint hearted or disabled. Couple of restaurants and plenty of snack points, and toilets throughout. Ample parking or get a bus or taxi.

Absolutely fantastic day out. Well laid out park that has several shows to see. There's an interactive show where you can touch the animals and birds,a dolphin show that is great, and the birds of prey where you are right in the middle of the action.
Multiple photo opportunities where you can pay 10€ for a picture with a dolphin or birds of prey. Did is pretty expensive but no bag check, so take your own if you want to.
Catch the 45 bus up into the mountains or 20€ ish for a taxi from Playa Del Ingles
Rob Bastow — Google review
Lots of animals, especially birds. You can hold birds in your hands, on your head, and on your shoulders for pictures, but it costs money, it didn't bother me at all. 4 different shows per day. You can buy a ticket with which you can take a photo with With a dolphin. You can also feed fish and emus for two euros. Emu can bite a little. There is an aquarium and a butterfly room and a greenhouse. I highly recommend.

A wonderful zoo and botanical gardens, very well laid out and well kept. The dolphinarium show was absolutely outstanding, the dolphins seem really happy and their show is both educational and breathtaking. The trainers are super talented too.

The La Laja plantation, situated in the Agaete Valley, specifically in Los Berrazales, is renowned for its diverse range of agricultural products. While they cultivate various goods, their primary focus lies on coffee and wine production. Their coffee consists of natural and typical Arabica beans, widely regarded as the finest variety available.
Great experience and such a beautiful location! Definitely a must, even if you are farther away on the island. The trip (by an easy road) to the valley itself is already fabulous!
Without any prior booking, we took a wine&coffee tour that was finished with the tasting (they have two options: wine&coffee tour for 10euros and coffee tour for 6euros).

The place with the soul ❤️ Ideal to spend couple hours, take an interesting tour around plantation and winery, enjoy very good local wine and coffee. The girls who work there are like angels, so kind, attentive and helpful! Also, big thanks to Victor, we wish you all the best in your business, so client oriented, everyone should take you as example. Thanks a lot for all you did for us in the situation with flat car tire.

Very friendly staff. The tour is not very elaborate but please remember that you only pay €12 for the tour and tasting. We also learned something about coffee and the fruits they grow. We enjoyed the apple/coffee marmalade.
Our guide Anna was great! She spoke perfect English.

Great place to see coffee plants and many other exotic plants. Great guides, welcome staff and delicious treat included in the ticket price. Fantastic views on the valley and mountains. And last but not least the vineyard! Really enjoyed and recommend this place.

We went to this place with one of our excursions with Trip Gran Canaria. Here you can take a look at orange and avocado plants, coffee bean plants and many more. You can get more info about the coffee bean process and can taste their coffee at the bar. In the shop you can find some local products. We can recommend the view at the rooftop terrace, the valley is amazing from there.

In a beautiful setting you find a near perfect bodega beautifully presented. This bodega produces not only wine but it’s own coffee. Apart from this the landscape contains many different fruit trees. The guide presented a very knowledgeable tour not only of the wine and coffee but all the other parts of the finca. We did the tasting tour which was red-white & rose wine and some snacks and coffee. There is also a full restaurant and they have a shop where you can buy their products - we found it somewhat difficult to find and they need some more clarification on directions if you are driving there but there is also an option of a bus tour. The day was somewhat marred by a beautiful tame African grey parrot in a small cage and I would urge the owners to rectify this asap as it detracts from a very memorable visit

We can highly recommend the tour with tasting!
The diversity of plants, coffee, oranges, vines, papaya and much more, it also smelled great.🤩
The tasting included 3 wines, cheese, bread with sausage, crispbread. You can also try cake and coffee made in-house from their plants. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating, it was a great experience for us!😊

Absolutely loved this place!! The tour guide was very knowledgeable about both wine and coffee production, and to top it off the wine and coffee were truly brilliant.
I would recommend coming here from all over the Island. We drove from Maspalomas and it took roughly an hour.

We came here today and enjoyed every minute. The 10 Euros for the guided tour includes wine and coffee tasting. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a must visit if you like coffee and wine. Even if you are not a fan, just visit the Valley, it’s beautiful!

I like nature nearby and the story about this place. Coffee is soft and not too bad. I don't like a wine, but people liked white wine. I liked the smell of orange flowers - it was surrounding. You should visit this play just for those tree flowers )

Beautiful place to visit. A short guided Tour with a small degustation in the end for 12 euros - which seemed like a fair price to me. The valley where it's located in, offers a stunning view.
Would come here a second time for sure. Wow effect guaranteed.

An incredible place as there grow mango, avocado, coffee, oranges, mandarines, bananas and many other things just in one place. Highly recommended to visit, but keep in mind that fruits are available to by there only in appropriate seasons. For instance, uou can buy and try mango at end of Summer, or in December. Very nice coffee is also there, which is a local well known arabica!

Beautiful place, the price for the visit and degustation is more than worth it, one thing though to me the coffee that was poured for degustation had extremely mild taste, like it would be if cut with too much water, would have been nice to have had a very strong, espresso like coffee to really have the flavours, their wines were very good, we took a bottle of dry white wine.
I recommend this place!! Must do I guess if you are visiting the island (plus we went with a stroller and no problem at all to go around during the visit)

We arrived at Bodega Los Berrazales in the mid-afternoon with our two-year-old daughter, following a visit to a nearby banana plantation. The road to the plantation was a bit narrow but manageable. Upon arrival at this charming and authentic coffee and orange plantation, we headed to the souvenir shop, planning to purchase our tickets. To our surprise, we were informed that payment would be after the tour and tasting.
Our guide, Anna, was truly exceptional. Her kindness, understanding, and genuine love for the plantation shone through. Anna provided a captivating history lesson, explained the coffee-making process, and introduced us to the various plants in the area. The most astonishing part was witnessing butterflies hatching in the wild, which Anna actively assisted by relocating caterpillars to ensure their survival.
The tasting session was enjoyable, though the wines didn't quite match my palate. The cheese, however, was delightful. They even generously refilled it when we ran out, thanks to our daughter's love for it with marmalade. The best surprise came when it was time to pay; they didn't charge for my daughter, resulting in a much more reasonable bill than expected. The extra cheese was a lovely bonus.
I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this hidden gem, and if you're fortunate, you'll have Anna as your guide.

Wonderful visit to this bodega in a beautiful valley near Agaete. We tasted three of their wines 🍷 with some bread, cheese 🧀, chorizo and jam.
Followed by some lemon cake with coffee and a short guided tour. All local produce from their farm.
The people were very welcoming 🙏 and the location was stunning 😍 even with a little rain shower.
