The place is good. Comfort rooms are huge and fresh. The only downside is that during our visit, some cocoon lights were not on. It would have been great if they were on so as to have a better look.

A small but beautiful beach resort.
We went there on a Sunday, and despite the long weekend there were not as much people in the area so it was very peaceful.
The cabanas were also more than beautiful. Each had sufficient space for guests, cushions to sit on, shades for privacy, and multiple outlets.
The food was a bit expensive but the family liked it. We did bring more food of our own though and had to pay a corkage fee.
All in all, I’d definitely go back here.

Based on the price of 2.230 PHP for a day of 8 hours, I can give only 3 Stars.
The beach is clean, the water seems to be clean too. Also the landscape is very nice, located on a vast beach.
But if you look for shade at the beach, you will find it only in the restaurants. At the pools, there are fewer umbrellas, so it's a hard fight to get one.
Another way is to rent a condo for an additional 1500 PHP.
The dishes are up to your taste. In ribs and pizza is additional sugar included.
The service act like a 2 Star level.

We came here yesterday and rented a cabana for 12 persons guest. The place is good and the staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant in the front building serves good food for a price. The pool is good for the kid’s, the lifeguard is continuously monitoring the area. The beach sand is not that white and fine. There’s a lot of beach activity you can do, they have wind sailing, dragon boat ride, jet ski and boat ride. I will come back here for sure.

Day tour on a weekend costs 700/adult. Kids below 7 yrs old are free of charge, otherwise you pay kid's rate. Booking is a must, walk-ins are not yet allowed in most Laiya resorts. Amenities are complete and restaurant and bar have a decent selection of Filipino and American, Italian staples. Smallest cabana costs 1250/day, but the one that we got did not have provision for curtains/blinds to shade us from the sun. Will definitely consider coming back here in the future.

On a Sunday drive, stopped by at the beach club for lunch. Staff were pleasant and BBQ food was good. Ice cold drinks overlooking the pool with view to ocean. Pet friendly restaurant.

This is one of my favorite beach clubs in San Juan. I just wish they have hotel rooms for overnight.
We had an overnight experience in this place and cabana is at its most comfortable setup to cater us. Luckily, their are no mosquitos around. Pool is awesome, a child friendly place.
Since this is a membership resort, this is not crowded. Amenities are good and staffs are friendly. Super nice place!

Lovely beach club for Playa Laiya members. Non-members can go in as long as they have endorsement letter from an owner and pay the entrance fee and cabana. It is a big and nice place but already showing some signs of neglect such as the power outlet in our cabana is not working properly, in the ladies shower room, some doors have broken locks. Hope the management will do something about it. But the beach area is very nice even if it is pebbly. Better wear aqua shoes especially for kids. There are some parts of the water that is uneven- like you are standing in a shallow part then when you move forward it becomes deep. Glad that there's a lifeguard around.

Sand is fine but the beach is a little bit rocky. There is also a swimming pool for adult and for kids. The comfort rooms are clean and big. The landscapes are beautiful, nice view for picture takings.
Tried the day tour and we loved it. Everything was hassle-free, from booking to registration, staff and facilities. Restos, ATM are available in the park.
Sand is fine, but water is calm, no waves, perfect for kids.
Throughout the day, there are small shaded areas in the beach (morning) and pools.
Rooms were fully booked but I didn't notice it being crowded.
Mobile network signal is a bit weak in some areas.
In general, day pass (8am-6pm) is a good deal but better if you can book a room.

The place, amenities and facilities are really great. I love the place but had an issue on the establishment wherein they are allowing guests not to be wearing proper swimwear. You would see guests in the pool wearing walking shorts and shirts and a bit off when you see it....

Nice place to relax. Not the best, but better than others. We got there a little bit early, and the staff didn't bother to assist or accommodate us. They just said that we should wait for our scheduled time. Then we got in and ate our breakfast, the food tasted good. Then we got to enjoy the swing in the middle of the beach before high tide happened. Also, the shower room near the entrance was the best part of this resort 😅 It's so big and it has a lot of cubicle. It's like you can have your birthday party inside - type of vibes 😂

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The pools were okay, but the beach is the main attraction. Our visit here gave us the chance to interact with stingless jellyfish and sea cucumbers. The entire beach area was clean.

1. The pool opens at 9 in the morning
2. 6 ft deep for the adult pool
3. They also have pool for the kids
4. A play ground
5. There are also available inflatables that you can use
6. Public toilet facilities are near with showers

Cabins and cocoons are remarkable. Food choices are ok. Prices, slightly high, but tolerable. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and very responsive. Facilities are good

Disappointing and waste of money. Wanted to come here during COVID, but no one answers any of the phone numbers on their webpage or responds to their FB, still the case now
Happened to be nearby so finally came today. Paid 600 for kids and 1200 for adults. Kids under 7 are free, but of course you still have to pay for the adults to accompany them. Main thing to do is ride a big slide, but the kids have to be at least 4ft, which excludes 2 of my kids. Otherwise, that's about it, it is just a big pool. There is a shallow kiddy section with some stuff that squirts water, half broken. So not much to do. Tried to let my kids play with one of the floats for the slide, but the life guard insists they are strictly not allowed, might be needed for riding the slide. Even though no one is here, there is a big pile no one is using, my kids can't use. Obnoxious
Water is super chlorinated, so your eyes will be red and dry after 10min, make sure to bring goggles
Complete waste of time and money

My family loves this water park/beach resort in Calatagan! We've been here twice already, and we enjoyed both walk-in day tour visits. The entire resort area is well-maintained and spacious, with separate large pools for adults and kids. We had fun using the big slide in the adult pool and walking along the long stretch of fine sand. The staff was approachable and helpful and offered us a free shuttle ride (PWD friendly) to the other amenities of the resort because it was quite a long walk.
I just wish there were more water park attractions (more slides, perhaps) and the main bath area wasn't so far away from the adult pool and the beach area.
There is a corkage fee if you plan to bring outside food/drinks in the resort; bringing snacks and drinking water is free of charge. Fortunately, there were two main restaurants inside the resort. The Sands serves classic Filipino dishes, while Captain Barbozza offers ribs, pizza, and breakfast items. I prefer the latter's food (my lolas/lolos said that most dishes at The Sands lack seasoning). There are other food stalls inside the resort, but I haven't tried them yet.
Overall, if it wasn't for the relatively expensive entrance fee (1,000+ per person), we would visit Aquaria/Casobe more often.

We had a great experience last weekend. We got what we pay for, luxury and accommodating staff are so excellent, foods are great and also services hindi ka tlga titipirin. If you really want to relax and not so crowded Aquaria Water Park Calatagan is Perfect. Staffs everywhere always greet you specially Jenna(if I'm not mistaken) she is the one who assist us when we are inquiring and Marcus who is always in front desk that really jolly and friendly .. Kudos to all staff and great place. We really enjoy staying. Very recommended place.

We do our company team building in this place. It was such a good experience. The resort facilities are nice, the beach is nice even though there are small seaweeds all over. The pools are good, there's also a slide. The view of the place and the beach is very good. The toilets & shower are very accomodating. I like this place. If you want to experience relaxing time with your loved ones on a pool or near the beach, you can try this resort.

Wow, folks, you won't believe the incredible time we had at Aquaria Water Park for our company outing! I mean, seriously, it was an absolute BLAST!
From the moment we set foot in this paradise, it was like stepping into a whole new world of fun and relaxation. The resort is so impressively spacious, giving everyone plenty of room to unwind, play, and soak up the sun. And let's talk about the ocean in Calatagan – it's nothing short of breathtaking. The sheer beauty of those crystal-clear waters had us all in awe.
Believe me when I say, I've explored my fair share of beaches in Batangas, but Aquaria is the real gem of them all! If you're looking for the ultimate beach experience with your friends, family, or colleagues, this place is an absolute must-visit. Trust me, you won't be disappointed – Aquaria Water Park is at the tippy-top of my recommendation list!

Nice pool for adults and children. It has a huge slide and a childrens' playground. The Sands Restaurant is in the vicinity of the pool...no need to be hungry. Cabanas are facing the pool and are gated. Your things are safe. Nice place.
The terminal has definitely changed. It is huge with an airport-like quality. Very clean and comfy as well. Their comfort rooms have bidet. It really is modern compared to it's previous counterpart.
Norman Malones — Google review
It's a really spacious and grand looking port. It feels like you're going overseas with how everything is designed; it also have food establishments inside so you won't go hungry while waiting in line if there is.
Marjorie Obciana (Jorae) — Google review
This review applies to people that are using public transportation going to the port or the people dropped off via port gate.
Upon arriving, there will be people who will approach you before you enter the gate. They will direct you to a small booth that offers insurance. Ignore them and do not hand them your bags as they try to assist you. The insurance they sell is not mandatory. Proceed to the yellow gate right away. The path will lead you to the terminal.
Inside, there's a line of ticketing booths for different ferrys. Buy or present tickets for confirmation. Next, go to a booth where you will pay for the terminal fee (P30). After, you may proceed to the waiting area for your scheduled trip.
Overall, the place is clean and maintained. There's a big screen for boarding schedules. Washrooms are clean. The entire terminal runs on air-conditioning. Food stalls are available too.
What I just didn't like is the insurance booth just outside the gate. The idea of people leading you to the booth feels like a scam. Avoid and DO NOT PAY. The port authorities should know better
Dexter Bulos — Google review
I am impressed by the newly renovated Batangas terminal port. It's big and ready to accommodate big crowd. But as a seasonal traveler, my concern for this port is the way going inside the terminal. A big sign should be posted how to get inside the terminal.
Amy Zamora — Google review
A modernized terminal and pier which boasts efficiency and progress.
1. All the ticketing booths are all in one place, but you can experience long lines and terrible services sometimes.
2. After getting your ticket, you will pay 30 Pesos for the terminal fee.
3. There are also homegrown restaurants where you can buy local food and stuff. There are also commercialized establishments such as Shawarma Shack, Mister Donut, and the Coffee Bean.
4. Once you enter the terminal itself after checking your baggage, you can see the big screen to check your trip schedule and boarding gate. You can also get your water free and charge your phones while waiting because they have electric outlets everywhere.
5. You might have to wait for 30 minutes to 1 hour before you can board. There are also delays that might inconvenience you.
Mark Daniel Nicasio — Google review
It would be nice if they had more stuff to do while you're sitting around waiting for the ferry, like vendors selling food or other things to do. Otherwise it's a very nice place with nice aircon and my seats. It's very clean and a fine place to wait for the boat.
John Eberhardt — Google review
It's nice they have this parking space where you can leave your car when you go for travel. It's like the Park and Fly in Manila. After 3 days, we returned and the car is still in good condition. So it's safe to leave your car here. For that 3 days, we paid around 576 pesos. In that parking space there is already close entrance for the main building where you'll buy tickets. As you enter that building, they'll gonna check your bags. Their place is big, clean and well-lit. After buying tickets and enter the waiting area, like in the airport, you'll need to scan all your things in the scanner. They have chairs here where you can sit while waiting for the announcement of boarding.
Romeliz Subiano — Google review
the port is well maintained and decent; however the ticketing is very slow. the queue is very long and is moving too slow. we waited almost an hour to reach the counter just to be told that there's a bad weather warning so boats are not boarding. we have to wait another hour and get in another queue again. as for the price, we'll it varies depending which boat you're boarding and which seat; but surprisingly even after paying for a specific seat that cost a different amount, they're gonna tell you to just sit in any available seat when you're boarding. so everyone just sit anywhere.
Jee-hae Yamah Arkoi (G-hair) — Google review
I must say. New and improved Port of Batangas.
With free water refill inside the waiting area.
Decent toilet.
Though still under improvement, aircon on certain areas are not cold. And i don't think there are enough seating area during peak season.

First time going there as an adult. Everything is efficient and the staff are friendly. The place is clean and is worthy of being visited by tourists and foreigners. The waiting area is huge. We arrived at Batangas pier from the bus that left PITx at 5:30pm. We are bound for Occidental Mindoro. The bus driver advised for us to eat dinner at a local carinderia while waiting for the RoRo to allow us to board.
The pier has several available seats for passengers. This is a late night travel to Occidental Mindoro, hence, there were only a handful of passengers. The seniors and parents with small children were allowed to stay in the bus and the rest of the passengers have to go through security until we boarded the RoRo.
The Minor Basilica of St. Martin of Tours is a massive baroque-style Catholic church located in Taal Park, Philippines. It is one of the largest and oldest Catholic churches in Asia, originally built in 1759 but destroyed twice - first in 1754 during the eruption of the Taal volcano and later in 1849 due to an earthquake.
Very holy and solemn place. Once you enter the church, you would feel the 15th century vibes surrounding its ceilings, walls and floors.
One of the oldest and largest church in Asia, it is well preserved.

An impressively sized church for Asia, this was an unexpected sight! Several very picturesque spots on the grounds. I was particularly gratified to see several statues depicting a more historically accurate Jesus with darker skin. Certainly doesn't compare to the majesty of cathedrals in Europe, but a neat find for those who haven't had the chance to journey further yet.

It was our first time to visit Minor Basilica of St. Martin of Tours in Taal Batangas.
Being one of the largest church in the Philippines you will be in awe when you get inside. The structural outside is just simple, but, when you get inside, it is “beautiful”.
Since this church is considered a tourist destination, vendors are all over outside of the church.
Upon getting out of your car, three or four vendors will approach you with different goodies they have and at the entrance, there is also a candle vendor.

I am eager to visit Taal Basilica or the Minor Basilica of St. Martin of Tours because an earthquake hit Batangas and it created a crack on the wall of this church. The facade looks old and I love that. While standing by the entrance, I was astounded by the unique silver tabernacle and the spectacular and artistic curves on the ceiling, highlighted by the stunning golden lights. The ambiance inside was solemn, calm and really relaxing. I did not proceed to the front as respect to the couples having their wedding vows.

If you are looking for an old church that has a beautiful interior and holds the record as Asia's largest church, St. Martin de Tours or Taal Basilica is it.
We stayed for the Thursday mass with the washing of the feet. The homily explained what it meant for Jesus to have removed His outer garment before getting down to wash the feet of His disciples. The outer garment represents who He was in this life: teacher, healer, Messiah, Son of God, God the 2nd person of the Trinity. The washing of feet represents His love and service to His creation: man. In return, as Jesus commanded His disciples to wash each other's feet, so are we reminded to do so to each other in our families and within the church, and yes even to those who do not share our faith if that could be used by God to open that person's heart to His word. We are to set aside all ego and pride that emanates from our positions in life (the outer garment), and assume the humility of a servant in serving others.
St. Martin de Tours is beautiful to behold and it's priests are wonderful to listen to. Kaya sulit mag visit dito. Taal has many beautiful attractions too that you can visit after visiting the Taal Basilica.

Reputed to be the largest basilica in Southeast Asia. This church was originally located nearby Taal Lake but was abandoned and relocated towards Balayan Bay in 1754 when Taal Volcano erupted. Construction began in 1755. The church features trompe L'oeil paintings inside with national historical markers emplaced on its facade.

We went here on Christmas Day to quench my son's thirst for history. The traffic was bad but maybe it's because the Mass had just ended and the crowd were leaving. What used to be like an eternity of traffic suddenly became a haven of parking space and open air. Get ready for narrow roads going up. The church itself, for me, was majestic overlooking Taal Lake (?). Inside you could see old chandeliers and sculpted ornaments on the walls. What's really mesmerizing was the altar itself in all its grandeur. The left and right side of the altar was adorned with mosaic like paintings as well as statues of saints. Overall the experience was great just brace yourself for the long ride. It wouldn't hurt to try Tapang Taal which comes in beef and pork meat. I think it's the best tapas I've tasted.

Taal Basilica was first built in present day San Nicolas in 1575 with San Martin de Tours as patron saint. In 1754 the church was destroyed along with the town Taal in the eruption of the Taal volcano. It was then that the church was transferred to its present site, but in 1849 it was destroyed again by an earthquake. Construction of the new church began in 1856. The church was made into a basilica in 1954. Taal Basilica is considered the biggest church in the Philippines and in Asia.

A Spiritual Journey through Time and Beauty
I recently had the privilege of visiting Taal Church, also known as the Minor Basilica of Saint Martin of Tours, and I must say it was an awe-inspiring experience. Located in the charming town of Taal, Batangas, this historic church exceeded all my expectations.
From the moment I approached the church, I was captivated by its magnificent facade. The intricate details and grandeur of the Spanish colonial and baroque architecture left me in awe. The massive wooden doors seemed to welcome me into a world of history and spirituality.
As I stepped inside, a sense of tranquility washed over me. The vast interior space with its high ceilings, ornate altars, and beautiful stained glass windows created a serene atmosphere that invited introspection and reverence. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were remarkable, reflecting the deep devotion and artistic expression of the community.
Taal Church holds a significant place in Philippine history. It has stood strong for centuries, withstanding the ravages of time, natural disasters, and wars. Being within its walls felt like stepping back in time and connecting with the rich heritage of the country. The church has witnessed countless events and serves as a spiritual center for both locals and pilgrims from around the world.
The spiritual experience at Taal Church was profound. I found solace in its hallowed halls, offering my prayers and finding a sense of peace. Attending a religious ceremony allowed me to witness the vibrant faith of the community, making me feel part of something greater than myself.
The church's location in the heart of Taal added to its charm. The surrounding area, with its well-preserved ancestral houses and cobblestone streets, transported me to a bygone era. I couldn't help but explore the town, immersing myself in its rich cultural heritage. And from the church grounds, I was treated to a breathtaking panoramic view of the town and the majestic Taal Volcano.
In conclusion, my visit to Taal Church was a spiritual journey through time and beauty. Its mesmerizing architecture, historical significance, serene interior, and the overall atmosphere of devotion made it an unforgettable experience. Whether you seek a connection with history, a moment of spiritual reflection, or simply a chance to appreciate stunning architecture, Taal Church is a must-visit destination. Prepare to be transported to a realm where faith, history, and beauty intertwine.

The Minor Basilica of St. Martin de Tours (within the Archdiocese of Lipa) is considered to be the largest church in the Philippines and in Asia standing 88.6 meters long and 48 meters wide. This a culturally and historically significant landmark in Taal declared as a Minor Basilica on December 8 1954.
The architecture is quite topnotch. The church looks amazing inside and out. It even has an elevated platform where priests used to preach in back when Catholic Latin Masses where still mainstream.
The Basilica is more quiet on weekday mornings and serves as a space for those who wish to quietly pray.
I would one day wish to go back and hear mass here on a Sunday despite the crowd.

A quiet place to contemplate and communicate with The Creator. The church and its facilities are well maintained. The candle area is located at the side of the church. The ceiling is high so it is not suffocating. The kneeling pads need foams because it is a little uncomfortable to the knees whenever kneeling for a long time. The image of Mary is in the separate building so don't forget to proceed to the other building.
It is very accessible as it is located along the highway. There are parking space and comfort rooms available.

Personally, it’s really a solemn place to rejuvenate yourself spiritually. We prayed and lighted candles as our tradition every time we visit churches. It’s wheelchair friendly around except if you go to see Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, you’ll need someone to help you get upstairs but lucky for us there were friendly men to help us.

This is a very beautiful and wonderful place despite the Vatican's pronouncement about the apparition. Even if the apparition is true or not, what is more important is the faith of the people to the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is a very cozy place to pray and to reflect.
There is a big parking lot provided for all the mass goers especially on Saturdays.
There is also a good souvenir religious shop near the monastery for good items. There are good books there.
In the upper deck of the shop, we can find the viewing deck in which they believe that the apparition took place. It is a very wonderful place to be.
Despite the heavy traffic and the noisy streets of lipa, serenity could be found in these place.
To God be all the glory.
Thanks!!

It's always a relaxing place to pray and meditate.
You get an added bonus if you get to talk to the Carmelite nuns who are so open and willing to share their time and prayers.

Another good place of worship located in the midst of Lipa City. This is the place where showers of roses petals first happened. Though it was not officially acknowledged by the Vatican, still lots of devotees flock to this church.
Kay.Tolentino Gaspar — Google review
Many miraculous showers of petals occurs on this site, last was in 1991.
Looking at this century-old church compared to the other churches in Lipa, this can be considered as relatively modern with no intricate embellishment and excessive decorations, just plain cream facade and the clean white painted interiors which reflect more light that enters its windows.
Taal Volcano is a popular tourist spot in the Batangas province of Philippines. It features a stunning crater lake, surrounded by dense foliage and hiking trails leading to a viewing platform with breathtaking panoramic views. A unique aspect of this attraction is that it remains an active volcano, providing visitors with an opportunity to witness its natural phenomena. Adventurous travelers can rent horses or boats to explore the area, but appropriate footwear is essential for hiking. The caldera can also be crossed by boat.
So even though you can’t hike on the island anymore due to the active nature of the volcano, it’s still super worth taking a boat ride around the lake. Lots to see, plus tons of cool birds flying everywhere. And if you’re lucky, you might even see a little activity from the volcano itself. Highly recommend.

Taal Volcano is an active volcano located in the southern part of Luzon, the Philippines' main and biggest island group. It has erupted many times these past few yeas (perspective is from 2022) and has caused problems to many of the towns and residents around it. The volcano is within the territory of at least two provinces, Cavite and Batangas. Still, despite its volatile nature, Taal Volcano is a beautiful place that easily reminds us of the power of natural forces. When calm, it offers a picturesque view that you can enjoy from afar, or take a guided tour within the volcanic island. It is near the capital and accessible if you want a break. It is just a 1 to 2 hour drive away from the National Capital Region. It is a must see when in Luzon! Before going, it is good to check the current situation of the volcano since authorities do not allow activities within the volcanic island when there is an eruption.

Didn't go... only looked it up to see exactly where it was located as it was erupting 😮. Lots of smoke coming out. Turns out we are 60km away, so no big deal for us, but lots of people living just 10km away. There they canceled school and many people had breathing problems. 🙏 for them. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ for nature and mother earth 🌎 at its best and worst.

Not sure where other reviewers have been, as you are not currently able to land on the Island.
It has been "off limits" since 2021, but MAY re-open in April.
That said, the drive down the hillside to get to the village was very interesting, as was the drive around the lake to Taal.
We were quoted 5,000 pesos for an hour boat ride or 6,000 for 2 hours which would go right around the Island - we declined.
It was worth the trip for the drive and the view but disappointed we couldn't actually visit the Island. On the plus side, there were virtually no other tourists

Beautiful place to visit before the recent explosion. Experienced horse backriding going to the top near the crater. Visit the place near the crater what they called red lava, where the ground is color red due to the heat coming below the volcano. Practice your golf stroke with one ball to the crater with a 100 pesos fee..

Taal Volcano Island as viewed from the penthouse suite of the SMDC Residences. TVI, shorthand - is a complex volcano and is known to erupt with periodic frequency - blanketing the towns of Batangas, Cavite and Laguna provinces with ash and debris. It is surrounded by a lake known as Taal Lake or Bombon Lake as it was called during the Spanish Period.

Very scary and awesome. Like most we climbed to the edge of the crater and it is a bit of a frightening site as it is one of the most active volcanoes in the country and has erupted numerous times in the past. Actually it is composed of a main crater and several smaller craters. The Main Crater Lake is approximately 2 kilometers in diameter and contains a small island called Vulcan Point. This point is the site of a number of volcanic vents and is considered to be the most active part of the volcano.

Taal Volcano, located in the Philippines, is a mesmerizing geological wonder with its unique crater lake and the world's smallest volcano within a lake. The panoramic view from the crater rim offers a breathtaking landscape, making it a popular destination for nature enthusiasts. However, it's essential to be mindful of the volcano's occasional activity, as it remains an active volcano with the potential for eruptions. Visitors can enjoy boat rides to the volcano island and explore the captivating blend of natural beauty and geothermal activity.

Worth it
First take a cab to the nearby island. Then take a boat to the volcano. Then come up to the top and then climb down inside the crater. Long long long journey but worth every second of it
You would visited an active volcano. In the crater it still smells of sulphur so please decide accordingly how close you want to get to that place without suffocating yourself it feeling nauseousness
Helpful guide and prepare for the climb if you are a chain smoker. Not going to be easy.
But go for it for sure after checking all regulations and weather and timings to visit the volcano

News of the phreatic eruption of Taal Volcano yesterday (12 Jan 2020) made me think of the trip to the crater we took 12 years ago (in 2008). From Tagaytay, we rode down to the lakeside and took a boat to the volcano. From the shore, we rode on horseback up to the crater of the volcano within a volcano and the view was just ... breathtaking!
I hope that after the dust settles, Taal Volcano will recover its beauty. I'm optimistic, though -- look at Mt. Pinatubo. Nature has a way of taking care of herself.

Tranquil riverside resort offering airy villas, plus dining, outdoor pools & a museum.
We stayed overnight as a big group during the holidays at their longhouse cabins and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It came with free use of amenities such as carabao ride, museum tour, three meals (lunch at their waterfalls, dinner with serenade, and breakfast), water rafting, and use of pools and jacuzzi. It was well worth it!
The food is superb, each meal was buffet-style, very delicious, and prepared with love. The staff was kind and helpful. And the place was clean and well maintained. It is highly recommend especially for families. Thanks Villa Escudero for making our Tiaong getaway enjoyable for everyone young and old. More power to the staff who made our trip memorable.

So this place is amazing. The whole place is so cool when you come as a family and you get to go stop by stop looking at all the different historical things. The museum has so many amazing collections of everything from statues of saints to old currency. I love how the museum has basically the entire history of the Philippines from the native tribes to all times they were colonized. The restaurant is definitely an amazing experience to be able to eat in a river at the bed of a waterfall. It's something unique that makes it so much more amazing. Then the show is so cool having them show all the different histories and traditions of the Philippines from bamboo dancing to cockfights. This is definitely a place to bring the family for a fun historical trip.

Wonderful spot! Rich in history and ambiance! The staff is very inviting and super friendly. The restaurant is amazing! The food is legit and that location is perfectly executed! The swimming pools are for everyone, all ages in different pools! The show was energetic and very interesting depicting Philippines 🇵🇭 history. The museum requires masks still but once inside there is much to see. And as an added bonus I will say the poolside bar makes fantastic drinks not holding back on the alcohol content in each drink!!!!! Fairly priced with very few visitors during the week, this is a must see if you’re in the area IMO.

A huge paradise-like place in a rustic Filipino setting with unlimited activities for guests. Endless activities includes; 1) a visit to one of the biggest museum dates back in the year 1800; 2) a delightful bamboo raft ride 3) delicious Filipino buffet lunch by the gorgeous waterfall; 4) three kinds of swimming pools for the kids, for adults only and an infinity pool for a quick plunge; and finally 5) a cultural show depicting dances and music of the different regions of the country.
We enjoyed the ‘Day Tour Package’. It’s a great vacation place having a combination of history from the museum, a nostalgic carabao ride, a kamayan buffet with your feet soaked in water and a refreshing dip in the pool. Fiesta Ambiance is welcomingly festive. All the staffs are welcomingly friendly, attentively serving with grace to everyone. Their efforts depicts an admirable bayanihan spirit.
It truly was rewarding to visit Villa Escudero. I recommend this place most especially to balikbayan and foreigners who wants to know more of the Filipino culture.

This place is great for anyone who wanna experience and enjoy Philippine culture!
The food was fantastic. Love how they serve it with banana leaves, bamboo plates and utensils, and coconut bowls for soups and condiments and it just brings back how Filipino eat before (some household I would assume still does but not a whole lot now)
But we hope they could do something to the flies as I found some dead ones in the food where the buffet is.
All in all, it was a great experience for our family.
Especially to my husband, who has never been to the Philippines. It's a must stop by if you're nearby! Make sure you're hungry if you do!

Puzzle Mansion, located in Barangay Asisan, Tagaytay City, is a unique museum that boasts an extensive collection of jigsaw puzzles from various genres. It gained recognition in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2012 for having the largest collection of jigsaw puzzles, surpassing the previous record held by Brazil. The museum is home to over 1,000 puzzles initially and has since expanded to approximately 2,000 puzzles dating back to the 1980s.
If you're a puzzle enthusiast, then, this is place is a must for you to visit. Out of curiosity, we visited the place with the family, and much to my surprise, we enjoyed it. The collection is robust mixture of puzzles you can possibly think of. It's a great place for amazement.

Entrance fee is around 100-150 (forgot the exact amount).
You will be greeted by a staff who will guide you through the entrance and will give you a brief overview of the things around. There are a loooot of puzzle pieces wc ofc makes sense since they are the Guinness world record holder. It was cool especially if you are into arts and stuff.
In the 2nd floor, they do have a merch store which sells puzzle that you can see at the museum. Was rlly interested on the Van Gogh one but I was a bit tight on budget hence I wasnt able to grab one 🥺
Overall, a good side trip and experience!

Cost is high for what it is offering, no guide to explain things to us. We went around as if watching some art works. Expected some simple puzzle activities for kids n adults but nothing as such. To travel quite some distance n for the amount we pay, I felt this is not a worthy.

Not much people on the weekdays. It's nice to walk around and admire the puzzles. It's just sad that some are fading. Especially the larger puzzles.

This museum is literally packed with two floors of puzzles with different designs, shapes, sizes, themes, and orientations. It's good enough to visit once so taking my time with each work of art was worth it. The 3D puzzles and giant puzzles were the best. Top 3 largest puzzles in the world are upstairs, sharing space with their puzzle shop for enthusiasts.
Puzzles can be great for bonding time so I would recommend buying one with several pieces despite the price. There are many designs to choose from.

I had the amazing opportunity to visit Padre Pio Church and I must say, it was truly a remarkable experience. One of the first things that caught my attention was the spaciousness of the church. It was incredibly soothing to have ample space to move around and find my own peaceful corner to pray and reflect.
The atmosphere inside the church was incredibly solemn and serene. I felt an instant connection with God as I immersed myself in the tranquility that surrounded me. What made the experience even more special was the presence of numerous trees and flower-bearing plants within the church premises. It created an ambiance of natural beauty and added an extra touch of serenity to the overall atmosphere.
What made the visit even more enjoyable was the peacefulness that came from being able to escape the outside environment noises. Padre Pio Church offers a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the city, allowing visitors to fully unwind and immerse themselves in their spiritual journey without any distractions.
In addition to the wonderful spiritual experience, the church also offers convenient parking space. It only took me a short one-hour drive from Manila, and I had no trouble finding a space to park my vehicle. This generous provision shows that the church truly values and cares for the comfort and convenience of its visitors.
Overall, my visit to Padre Pio Church was nothing short of extraordinary. The spaciousness, solemnity, abundance of trees and flower-bearing plants, and the tranquility it offers creates a truly unique and relaxing environment to unwind and connect with God. If you're looking for a peaceful escape from the city, I highly recommend paying a visit to this remarkable sanctuary.

Padre Pio is one of the most famous catholic churches in the Philippines and definitely a must-visit for devoted Catholics. Though due to its popularity it can be quite crowded especially during weekends.
There are souvenir shops, and places to visit and offer prayers. The relics look incredible and well preserved. There are also food kiosk for those hungry during their travels.
My take is that when visiting the church its best if you go by car, commuting can be quite a hassle especially during the holy week where devotees around the country will gather and visit.

There are guard roaming the premise to make sure that health protocols are followed. In between masses, they give pilgrims enough time to take pictures in front of the altar. They also have healing mass.
Abiding by the health protocol standards, the priest does not go down from the altar to bless religious articles, but they have a place where people can get holy water (with Padre Pio statue sits on top).
Ample space for parking. There are eateries near the church, stalls that offer religious articles, candles etc.
It's best to go there early to avoid the long line of vehicle entering the church.

Few reminders when going in the Shrine:
1. You have to go there as early as possible to avoid big crowd of people and it will took time to the entrance because of temperature check and hand disinfection.
2. Better also to be early because if you want to have better photos inside the shrine, it is better if there are only few people around.
3. The parking for a motorcycle was Php20.00
4. There are so many pasalubongs outside the shrine.
The shrine was quiet wide and perfect for family bonding after attending a mass. There were spots that are instagrammable. You must not also missed the chapel for relics of Padre Pio.

Nice place to visit when you're in Batangas where you could attend mass and offer prayers. The shrine is huge and have a very spacious area mostly with gardens, plants, trees which make the place relaxing too. We went on a Friday and attended morning mass and it wasn't too crowded. They also have an area where there's fountain of holy water, I think you could bring your own small bottle if you'd like to take some blessed water with you. You may also buy candles from the vendors outside, however the ones they sell are long candles and the church would not allow you to light those long ones, they would only let you light the small ones which you can buy at a store inside the shrine, it was closed during our visit so the ones we bought outside were lit at an area just outside the gate.

I am a devotee of Saint Padre Pio. It is only 45minutes away from Calamba, passing thru Star toll.
The shrine is located in Sto. Tomas, Batangas
There are two venues where masses are being held. It is spacious and well ventilated.
They also have a huge “free” parking for guests.
They also have a separate area to light the candles.
My only complaint here are their restrooms! It seems those restrooms are being neglected for quite sometime now. Water is scarce, toilet flash are not working, locks are broken, it is also dirty.
But guests have no choice!
I hope this will reach the management of St. Padre Pio National Shrine.

Padre Pio was a healing priest due to the stigmata on his right hand. He was Christ's instrument to pray and heal sick people.
Many sick people in Batangas and different places in the Philippines and around the world are attending masses and healing programs there. I prayed the Office of the Readings of the Liturgy of the Hours and Readings of the Mass to reflect this season of Lent. Lent is the time of reflection about suffering and death of Jesus Christ to save us from the sins of humankind. And that is why sick people are sinners to set them free from sins and all illnesses to surrender to the crucified Lord.

My youngest wanted to do the zip line, but there were too many people in line and also down below, which could be dangerous if someone dropped their phone or camera into a huge crowd. All in all, it was a good day, and fun was had. I would love to come back on a clearer day.

A family friendly picnic place for nature lovers. This place will give you the majestic view of Taal Lake and Taal Volcano while sitting in the grass or in the picnic huts and enjoying your good food. You can also try their zip line and horseback riding. The entrance fee is very cheap so expect the long line in the cashier as they are doing the ticketing manually. I hope they can upgrade their process. Currently, they are doing some rehabilitation on the grass and some works in the landscape.

After the eruption last 2020 and the pandemic, the place is totally back in place. Tourism is alive and it is getting lively and active. The scenic view is mesmerizing. Worth to visit and to relax and clear the mind.

It is located about 50 km south of Manila. It is the perfect place for family and friends picnics. There is a lot of greenary all around There is also a small zipline and horse riding facilities. One can also go for eco-trail which is made of boardwalk and wooden bridges.. It is the nearest place from where one can see Taal Lake and might Taal Volcano.
The entry fee is 75 pesos and 300 pesos for zipline. It's open daily from 7 to 7 and on Saturdays full day.

Good place to unwind and relax if you have kids. There is a wide grass area where kids can run and play. It's a nice picnic area. You can bring your own food here. There are also a lot of souvenir shops for tourists to buy to. For those who have their own car/vehicle, parking space is available.

The best view point for the magnificent Taal volcano, a unique volcano that's surrounded by a lake. A great place to take a picnic, there are also a few eateries, and even a Ferris wheel for ultimate fun.

Lovely setting and a very peaceful place away from the road. Tremendous views over the lake too. The suspension bridge is beyond being maintained, so it’s a little shabby in places. The cool breeze through the pines make this a great venue on a warm afternoon.

The view of taal lake is spectacular. When you visit this place you'll feel like you are in another planet. The activities are fun. There are a lot of available hut for picnic. The only downside I can say is the price of a food available in restaurants. It is really pricey so I suggest to just skip eating to restaurants there or just bring your own food.

75 pesos per person entrance fee! Motorbikes park for free. I think it’s worth it for the view.
You can sit on the grass or walk on the skywalk for free, tables and huts cost a fee. They have zip line and Ferris wheel, but it wasn’t running when I visited (around 5pm on a weekday).
Lots of shops (affordable takeout) for an impromptu picnic. We brought our own food from the nearby public market.

Great place to hang out and watch the sunset. The park is very spacious and there are lots of activities you can do here such as ziplining and horseback riding. You can also see a great view of the taal lake here.

super windy! cable car not working. ferris wheel not operational. horse riding @350 pesos per hr but within 30 mins, you'll get bored already despite of me and my 3 kids switching. food is cheap good. very scenic place to take pictures. the picnc huts are pricey. the open field is a safe place for kids to let loose and run like crazy. souvenir shops have good choices too.

It is well developed now. The skywalk is very convenient and also instagrammable.
The mushrooming of souvenir shops and dining areas means that tourists arrivals are still high.
The main attraction of the picnic groove is not in the property, it is the lake and volcano below.
So as long as the view is not disturbed or blocked, picnic groove will always be a must-see area.

Was a bit shocked that the used to be free-to-use cottages are now being rented. But it is understandable since maintaining the park is rather expensive. I am glad though that they are improving the place. There are also lots of horses now and they even offer boat rides to the lake.

You can see the Taal's view, plus the weather here is cool.
You can take pictures with horses or ride on them. You can also bring your own food or just buy some foods here.

Tagaytay Picnic Grove is a picturesque destination that promises breathtaking views of Taal Volcano and the surrounding landscape. With its spacious grounds and numerous picnic areas, it's an ideal spot for families and friends to gather for a day of outdoor fun. However, while the scenery is undeniably stunning, the facilities can be somewhat basic and in need of maintenance. Visitors may encounter long lines at food stalls and restrooms, and the overall cleanliness could be improved. Despite these shortcomings, the beauty of Tagaytay Picnic Grove's natural surroundings makes it a worthwhile destination for anyone seeking a relaxing day in nature.

Its has nice view, good for picnic and gatherings. The place feels little hot due to the place is open without shade too much. You just need to buy ticket for entrance. They do offer horse riding but with additional payment. During that time theres still not much crowd. If you will go to toilet there, you will need to pay for additional payment.

Very nice place to sit down and relax after a busy day. The views are amazing and there's a lot of space.
However, the little huts are nor free to use, you need to pay 250php to use them. There's a lot of space, few attractions like horseback riding, and some souvenir shops. Limited places to eat though.
People's Park in the Sky, formerly known as the Palace in the Sky, is a mountaintop park located on Mount Sungay in Tagaytay. It was built during the Marcos era and features a former mansion, Christian statues, and scenic overlooks. Situated at 709 meters above sea level, it offers breathtaking views of Taal Lake and the famous Taal Volcano from up to 50 kilometers away on clear days.
Still one of the best places to visit in Tagaytay... Especially early mornings. The breeze and the view is just amazing. It makes you feel like you're not anywhere the metro. A quick weekend visit refreshes your mind and soul. Place is well kept and very clean. You just have to pay 20 pesos for parking if your bringing your own transpo and an entrance fee of 30 per head. Highly recommended for the family.

This a bit of a ride to get up there, and had a nice view of the surrounding valleys. The bathroom inside there park was a better choice and they all cost $10 pis. Fit for royalty but good enough for me. Church services are held here, maybe closer to god? Nice picnic spot for sure, and try the local “taho” like sweet imitation ice cream Sunday but it’s actually tofu based. 👩🍳😊

People's Park in Tagaytay offers a scenic escape with breathtaking views of Taal Volcano and the surrounding landscapes. The park's colorful gardens, towering statues, and vibrant atmosphere make it a great spot for leisurely strolls and picnics. However, it can get crowded during peak hours, so visiting during weekdays or early mornings is recommended for a more peaceful experience. Overall, it's a must-visit destination for nature lovers and those seeking stunning panoramic vistas.

A breath of fresh air. The place is very refreshing, quiet, and relaxing. Perfect spot if you want a break from "city life." Going up is a bit of a challenge thou if you are walking as the slope is very steep, but there is a jeepney going back and forth (for a minimal fee) which is very convenient especially for senior citizens, pregnant tourists, or those with children.

Another famous go-to spot for sightseeing in Tagaytay is People’s Park in the Sky presenting a wide view of the Taal volcano joined by the all-green Tagaytay Highlands. It also nurtures the experience of being almost eye-level with the clouds and free-flying birds. There's a massive statue of Jesus Christ which solemnly overlooks the whole place. At the viewing deck, tourists can rent binoculars for a closer look at the stunning Taal Volcano and the towns below. There are also a few diner and memento shops where you can stop over for snacks and trinkets to take home.

Beautiful view for sure. Second time up here after 2012.
Pres. Marcos started the building of this place to accommodate Pres. Reagan. It was never finished. The problem is, that the place is poorly taken care, it's a monument of Marcos megalomaniac ambitions.

We went here on November 5, 2023. It was a beautiful and sunny day.
There are plenty of views of distant cities and vistas all around. It is a great place to hike. It is about 2 bends with a substantial incline. It might be a mix of heat and cold throughout the incline, so dress accordingly! I suggest a light jacket you can easily zip up or take off.
There are a couple of Jeepneys at both the top and bottom who will transport you and your group if you feel like you are too tired to go up or down the road.
They do have a bathroom near the top, but it is pay per use, so be aware of that.
There are also spots near the top that are also paid, meaning if you wanted to sit down in one of the labeled booths, you must pay to relax or to sit and enjoy the view from that spot.
A couple of souvenir shops are near the top with negotiable prices. If you want to eat at a couple of shops and little restaurants, there's plenty before you enter the park near the bottom.
Overall, it is beautiful, and it is definitely worth the visit whether you're here as a tourist (like myself) to go sightseeing or to go on a short hike with a very rewarding view!

One of the best place to see the beauty of the city from above. You can the beauty of Tagaytay and the nearby cities as well as the Taal Volcano. The place was not just built for tourism but with purpose. It is also good to walk from the entrance rather than to ride the jeepney. It was just disappointing when you see the place not properly maintained. This place needs rehabilitation.

Sometimes going early is not the best thing to do 😅. Early morning fog caught me by surprise. I did not have experience which I expected but still it was amazing ride going up to this Park. Short walk uphill from the entrance is relaxing and not to much steep. Unfortunately didn't manage to enjoy the view (which means ill have to return again). But nonetheless it was amazing. Does vendors should have a bit reasonable prices and I expected to have some coffee or milktea available (but there wasn't). Anyway it's a place to enjoy the view, relax and not to be occupied by small things. Just bring your own water, coffee or what ever you prefer. Small small meals are avilable as well. Do not come early morning in January as fog is not your best friend.

When the time is just right, the park is filled with fog throughout the day. The clouds were literally as low as can be, and with the winds blowing, you'll weave in and out of the mist with just enough moment to catch the view then into the mist you go.
It has parking, approachable staff, and the restrooms are clean, there's a shop at the top to buy food and coffee. You can catch a ride from the parking lot going to the park but you can't go wrong if you hike it.
Personally, if it's hot out, I'd rather not go. Try to visit when the weather is cool and breezy.

While People's Park in the Sky offers breathtaking views, my preference for more interactive experiences made it less appealing. The limited activities, coupled with the crowd and potential seat restrictions, posed a slight inconvenience. I'd recommend it as a quick visit for capturing picturesque moments, but for those seeking more engaging attractions, it might not be the ideal destination. The scenic beauty, however, makes it a worthwhile spot for a brief stop and photo opportunities.
•Scenic Views: People's Park in the Sky provides stunning panoramic views.
•Limited Activities: The lack of interactive activities might not appeal to those seeking more engagement.
•Crowded Atmosphere: The number of visitors and potential seat restrictions can be a hassle.
•Quick Visit Suggestion: Recommend it as a brief stop for capturing picturesque moments or taking photos.
•Ideal for Photography: The scenic beauty makes it a worthwhile spot for those looking for photo opportunities.

Beautiful little gem. It wasn't on our tour itinerary but our driver said we booked them for the whole day and took us here before returning.
The views from up here are incredible. It was a little cloudy on our day but I can imagine that on a clear day it'll blow your mind!
There are several little souvenir stalls and a cafe up the top. You can use a jeepney to reach the top. I didn't but I loved watching them going up and down the beautiful road.
Definitely recommend visiting!

We went here last week together with my friends. We rode our motorcycle and I must say that the roads we drove were really steep so I highly advise to just drive slowly, take your time and just enjoy the view and scenery. When we arrived at the top part, there was a parking fee (varies on vehicle) There are food stalls and restos and the prices are worth it for me since most of them are delicious. If you really wanna go to the very top part, you need to pay an entrance fee and if you don't wanna walk up, there is a jeepney terminal that you can ride on. We really enjoyed the overlooking view of Taal Lake and after awhile, it became too foggy and it was a very magical and memorable experience! We will definitely come back again!

Great views and not much of a hike from the bottom. There are also jeepneys to take you up the hill. Definitely worth the 50php entrance fee, breathtaking views and some attractions to spend time there. There are a couple small places to eat at the top, as well as souvenir shops, but there's even more at the foot of the hill before the entrance.
Pair of remote crater lakes separated by a strip of land, with bamboo raft excursions & swimming.
Although the parking area is only along the highway. I say its a bit unsafe. But the place is very nice. Locals are very hospitable.

Went here over the weekend.
Parking is spacious but you have to pay 50, no time limit as the parking area is privately owned. Its safer compared before that you will park at the roadside. Locals will look after your car.
You have to trek a little to reach lake pandin. Its just sad that you have to pay 60 pesos on top of the environmental fee. They said that the 60 pesos is for the right of way as the trail going to Lake Pandin is privately owned.
The Lake experience though is lovely. The water is clean the water underneath gets colder. Bangkeros wont allow you to swim w/o lifevests otherwise they will be suspended. If your not good in swimming at least you wont get tired easily as you have lifevest to support you floating. Maximize your stay as they only allow 2hrs. Per boat to stay.
CR is not well maintained. There is no shower cubicles here. You may wash up in the water filled in the palangganas. I did not wash up after our swim in the Lake, i just changed clothes but I did not feel any itch after. Two thumbs up for that! 😉

The restroom (before you enter the lake) desperately needs to be upgraded. You pay 5 pesos to use a very basic toilet with a broken door (and you are not allowed to shower). The lunch on the raft, and the swimming experience in the lake makes up for the dismal bathroom, though! Vests are provided for each swimmer/passenger. Bring your own goggles and snorkels if you wish.

We were welcomed by a local tour guide and an enterprising house owner across the street who rents his lot for parking to go to the lake. About half or 1 km and due to rain it's wet and muddy. Reasonable price P360 per person so we thought but that's for a group of over 4. So we ended up paying P400 per person. The lake was serene, greenery all around and the crew were helpful and accomodating. The food though simple as it is were delish. Investing on proper signage-directions, prices and improving amenities will make this place a great place for locals and tourists.

Me coming back to this mountain several times is enough reason why this mountain is highly recommended for experienced and beginners alike. After closing for several years, Mt. Palay-Palay (Pico de Loro) is once again open to visitors and this time around, the hiking activities are managed more responsively. Would have been a great experience to climb the monolith or the “Toreng Bato” but it’s already cordoned off and that’s understandable. I hope that the hiking trails will be preserved for a very long time and what the park rangers are doing is a step towards the right direction.

Mt. Pico De Loro is good for beginners. Depending on your speed, you can finish the climb in 2-3 hours. It is easier to climb during summer but more challenging during rainy season. The hardest part is walking on the muds, it is too slippery. It is advisable to wear shoes with spikes.
It has an iconic huge stone standing on its own. They call it monolit and only one person at a time can climb it. It is better to climb this mountain early in the morning to avoid long lines in monolit. DIY is possible.
There are stores along the way so you will not get hungry. You may bring your own meal but be sure to keep your trash with you.
The view is breathtaking.

If you are a cyclist like me, I highly recommend that you visit this place. It is very wide and open with refreshing breeze of winds around. It is one of my favourite place that I would like to go back and ride around using my bike. The roads are also great for having a designated road for bikers to cycles. There are also not many people around the area so you would not worry about social distancing yourself if you ever catch a Covid from someone you come contact with which is great. They also have many fishes around that are swimming around the lake. Which you can feed and they go crazy. There are boats also that you can ride for you to explore the lake. Hence, overall it is a good place to go if you want to hangout with your family and friends.

Enchanted Kingdom is an amusement park located in Santa Rosa, Laguna, covering 25 hectares. It features seven themed zones including Victoria Park, Portabello, Boulderville, Brooklyn Place, Midway Boardwalk, Jungle Outpost and Spaceport. The park offers a variety of rides such as Anchors Away and Space Shuttle along with live shows and educational attractions.
A great place to take your kids, have lots of parking also. Food is expensive here so I advise people to bring a water jug, they don't allow food bought from outside including bottled water. Attractions are great been here many times and it's good that they're well maintained. They also have performers(Victoria's way) on stage located in the food court, me and my family enjoyed their performance. Enchanted kingdom 5/5.

It is my 2nd time here during the pandemic, and until now, EK haven't failed me in delivering a great service and experience. They are able to manage crowds even in peak hours and they never failed to sanitize each ride.
Food prices are still high but it is expected. Missing the previous regular pass fee tho. Currently, their regular pass retails at 999 per person.

The kids enjoyed it!!! Oh well, even the adults. They're only open during weekends, Friday to Sunday. And I wish they could open earlier so that it won't be too hot at 11am when they open. I think 10am opening time would not be so bad. We enjoyed the rides although some rides are not open until after lunchtime. It's still not very crowded as from the pre pandemic times. Restrooms are still clean. I hope you could just put water refilling stations instead of people buying bottled water, it's more environment friendly.

I like it. It’s little but everything about attraction inside for having fun for a whole day. No matter if child or adult. Sometimes you have to pay for some attractions additional. That’s why one star is missing. I like the roller coasters and the wild water rafting. Also a lot of food is offered there. At the end of the day before the park is about to close you’ll see an amazing firework. So it’s my recommendation to stay there till the end. As soon as it’s getting dark the park is shining in it’s beautiful lights.

The security here is very strict, the moment you enter the vicinity they are going to check your bags.it is not allowed to bring any food, candies, bottled water and other drinks inside. On the other hand, they have food stalls all over the park where you can buy your food and drinks ,It's just a bit costly though. They got various rides you could choose from that depends on your liking. Most rides are for big kids and teenagers but they got few rides for smaller kids. They also got game stalls and 3D, 4D,5 D and 7D game theaters. They are also taking photos during your every ride, it's just up to you if you are going to purchase the photo. It cost P300 per photo print.
They also got souvenir and gift shops all over the amusement park.
Just be sure to bring extra clothes, for you can become wet with the other water wild rides that they have.
Over all, we have enjoyed our few hours of stay.

Book a ticket via klook inclusive of transportation from and to SM MOA. Bringing food inside is not allowed but there are a lot of foos stalls inside. Food prices are surprisingly not too expensive.
Wearing of a mask is a must. Sanitation is well done too.
Staffs are friendly and approachable. Definitely worth it to visit.

It was a great experience visiting the Enchanted Kingdom. A one-Day EKspress ticket is worthy of purchasing. It will surely prevent you from queueing for a couple of minutes. The lockers are available for extra bags that you do not need while enjoying the park. Everything is sanitized before you take the ride. The park attendants are all welcoming and entertaining. Their new horror attraction, Alcatraz, is a must-visit. You have to pay P270 for its entrance and get ready to scream out of your lungs. All actors are really scary. They interact with the visitors and they strictly implement "no touching".We had a lot of fun. Indeed, we will visit the park again.

A fun place for both the young and the adults. A bit dated but the rides and amenities continue to excite the visitors.
The staff were also friendly and helpful. Worth the drive from Manila.

Enchanted Kingdom offers a fantastic array of entertainment options but may become crowded and expensive during peak times. Visitors should be prepared for potential long lines and consider the cost of admission and food within the park when planning their trip.
Pros of Enchanted Kingdom:
Fun-Filled Entertainment: Enchanted Kingdom is a well-known amusement park in the Philippines, offering a wide range of rides, attractions, and entertainment shows suitable for all ages.
Variety of Rides: The park boasts a diverse selection of rides, from thrilling roller coasters to family-friendly attractions, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Clean and Well-Maintained: Enchanted Kingdom is known for its cleanliness and well-maintained facilities, providing a pleasant and safe environment for visitors.
Accessible Location: Located in Santa Rosa, Laguna, it is easily accessible from Metro Manila and surrounding areas, making it a convenient destination for a day trip or weekend getaway.
Cons of Enchanted Kingdom:
Crowds and Long Lines: Especially during weekends and holidays, Enchanted Kingdom can get extremely crowded, leading to long wait times for popular rides and attractions.
Ticket Prices: Admission and ride fees can be relatively expensive, which may not be budget-friendly for some visitors, especially larger families.
Limited Dining Options: The park's dining options are somewhat limited, and prices for food and beverages within the park can be high.

Very good value for money. A clean, and safe amusement park. Lots of fun for people of all ages. There are lots of rides, including inverted roller roller coasters, 3D movies, haunted house, etc.
Every night they have a fireworks show around 6:50pm.
The park closes at 8 so plan accordingly. The best part is you can enter and re-enter as many times as you want.
Don’t eat at the taco stand.

Nice park not far from Metro Manila. Cool roller coaster, amazing water rides, big clean territory, lots of food and snacks variations. The staff is friendly and helpful near each attraction. The fireworks show and parade at 7pm were beautiful. But you should buy tickets in advance, and also we had an express pass. With regular tickets lines are really crazy on weekends. Although the price for express is affordable only 2200 pesos and it totally worth it. Compared to Disneyland the prices are so much cheaper.
Yana Villalon — Google review
Entrance fee moderately expensive. Come early to get enough dose of the action. Came here at 2pm so we didn't finish every ride. Birthday celebrant (for the month) gets a free pass while guests get a 10% discount. We paid onsite but you can also pay online. If you've been here before, you'll notice some changes that comes with the passage of time, especially the paint.
Map is only online via QR code. There's free alcohol spray bottle to claim in many colors (yellow, pink, blue, black, brown) for the regular payee. Get it right away before it closes. There's also a 5% discount to a restaurant if you're dining. Food is cheaper than ever, like you're in a usual mall in the NCR.
All the staple old rides and streets were still around, but not all are as crowded as they used to be. The areas with extra payment were deserted, probably because 100 pesos extra entrance was expensive when the stuff looks super old from a decade ago. The entire local theme park feels like a time travel back in time. If you've been here before, you'll notice the very rustic look with the old paint, so it's like Old Wild Wild West with a Korean touch on the decor.
Water is cheap at 35 pesos, and most of the food were also cheap. There are several souvenir stalls around for hats and the like.
Flying fiesta still nice, the old swing goes up and down and around. It's moderate and not quite going to get you dizzy. Loved the soft breeze on my face.
The Rialto portion shows Mowgli's Jungle Race, one that's refreshing and worth the line.
We spent 30 mins in line. There were 60 seats upstairs & 48 seats downstairs. There's a bit of water that comes out as part of the effects. The story was a bit short and left me hanging.
Carousel for kids and maybe grown ups was a simple ride. Tried it for photos, can be cute here.
Rio Grande Rapids, this had a long line from afternoon up to night. We came around 5pm and got in around 5:45pm If you want a picture, it's 250 pesos and you can also download the digital version. I got really wet here, but it's fine since the hot weather at night made me dry in no time. There were ponchos at 75 pesos but it looked flimsy that you're better off bringing your own raincoat if you want to. Others used the magic dryer at 150 pesos nearby.
I ate takoyaki there and the snack was filling, worth a try.
Went to Agila 7D building, the only one looking modern amidst everything old-style. Closes at 7pm, so we were the last ride for this 15 minute show. It's got an epic music, even going as far as saying: You have just witnessed the splendor of the Philippines. It's a good line but you can't bring any large bags inside, only a small bag can be kept for your wallet and phone.
Parade? None. But the Eldar wizard went around randomly at the street near Rialto around 4pm.
Fireworks quick from 7:20-7:30pm when we came. We were told it started at 7:30pm prior to taking the Agila ride but they started it earlier. Best spot to watch it is near the outdoor theater stage area and near space rocket.
Ferris wheel ride finale. This one closes late, fortunately, and we got here on the last ride before 9pm. Overall, EK is okay for a quick activity for leisure.

it's good and fun here & has lots of variety of rides and foods you can pick! I suggest you should go here on a weekday so you can enjoy your regular pass but If u go here on a weekend you should avail the 1-day EKpress pass for fast line & no wasted time & can go around more. It's a nice & clean place I would love to go back again! ❤️🎡🎢

It's a fun place to be with family! The rides range from extreme to kid friendly. Other attractions are paid separately. The carousel is a classic, it never gets old. My daughter and i love it. Please bring gallons of water to break the heat, yes the hot weather. The water for sale inside is expensive. Just a friendly reminder.

We had a blast in Enchanted Kingdom. Here are top 10 tips to make sure you do so as well.
1 - buy the express ticket online, costs twice as much but totally worth it. No lines for the rides and even if you wait, it will not take hours for you to enjoy something. Also zero wait time in entering the park. Best decision I made.
2 - bring a big insulated tumbler. Trust me you will run out of water soon and it's super expensive to buy on stalls.
3 - Realto is the best ride for me, make sure you try this.
4 - Save all the dizzy rides at the end, if you still have time. You won't enjoy the park if you feel sick. Don't force yourself on rides if you think you can't handle them.
5 - not all the paid rides are worth it. The 7D kinda sucks, the go cart is fun 650 pesos for 10mins is worth it. Ride with a group not by yourself. The laser maze and others are pretty lame.
6 - bring a set of clean clothes. Trust me you will get wet and sweaty at some point. There's a bathroom stall outside the re-entry gate, dont wait in line inside.
7 - plan ahead and leave early. Best to be here during opening to make sure you experience everything.
8 - Make sure you have cash, we (2 persons) spent 2k trying out food and games. Also had lunch here. Expect everything to be a little expensive.
9 - Ask what time the fireworks and event shows happen. We missed most of the shows because we were on rides, they have a schedule for the shows, best to chill during those times.
10 - bring a cap or umbrella, super hot when we came. put sun block as well.
Don't forget to check out the pictures I posted. I hope you get a great time as well!

I had the most enchanting experience at Enchanted Kingdom! From start to finish, it was a day filled with pure magic, fun, and excitement. Visiting this world-class theme park with my friends was an absolute delight.
The moment we stepped into Enchanted Kingdom, we were transported to a realm of wonder and joy. The park's attention to detail in creating a magical atmosphere truly amazed me. The variety of attractions and rides catered to all ages, ensuring that everyone in our group had a fantastic time.
The rides were nothing short of spectacular. Each one offered a unique thrill that left us exhilarated and wanting more. From heart-pounding roller coasters to whimsical carousels, Enchanted Kingdom had it all. The safety measures put in place gave us peace of mind, allowing us to fully enjoy the adrenaline rush each ride provided.
Aside from the rides, the entertainment was top-notch. We were treated to spellbinding performances that left us mesmerized. The talented performers brought their characters to life, making the experience even more immersive.
And let's not forget about the food! The delectable food delights available at Enchanted Kingdom satisfied our hunger and cravings. From mouthwatering snacks to hearty meals, there was something for every palate.
What made the day even more special was the availability of unique souvenir items. We couldn't resist taking a piece of the magic home with us. The range of souvenirs allowed us to cherish the memories and relive the enchantment of the day.
Enchanted Kingdom truly lived up to its name, providing an enchanting escape from the ordinary. It's evident that the park is dedicated to delivering world-class experiences to its visitors. I can confidently say that it's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a day of joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
Thank you, Enchanted Kingdom, for an incredible experience that will be etched in our hearts forever. We can't wait to return and create even more magical memories with you!

We came on friday. Cause I know weekdays will be more ok and less people. When we can there was a school field trip so many students all around but it was fine as it is still manageable. Bring a raincoat in case it rain or you don't want to get wet in rides. or just bring extra clothes and shoes. No food allowed but you can buy food stalls.

The experience there was nothing short of extraordinary—utterly joyful and filled with delightful moments. What added to the overall satisfaction was the convenience brought by my ticket Express pass. Navigating through the activities, the hassle-free entry allowed me to maximize my time and immerse myself fully in the experience.
From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere exuded a contagious sense of excitement. The vibrant surroundings and lively energy created a backdrop that heightened the overall enjoyment. The anticipation built up as I approached the entrance, and with my ticket in hand, I breezed through the admission process. The Express pass, in particular, proved to be a game-changer, sparing me from the long queues that often accompany such events.
As I explored the venue, each attraction brought its own unique charm. The seamless entry process allowed me to savor every moment without the stress of waiting in lines. It was a relief to know that my ticket not only granted access but also ensured a smooth and efficient experience. The Express pass, in particular, emerged as a valuable investment, making the entire event not only memorable but also remarkably stress-free.

Been a decade before I visited again. In comparison with theme parks abroad, it came close enough when it comes to attractions. Although would love more 3D stuff since I'm not into rides. Fast pass is worth it and it's not even that expensive! Better come here January and February. Weekends so you got some people around and weather is best during this month in our humid country.
They have promo for PagIbig card holders.
Good choices are plenty too
Parking is secured and enough.

No need to get an express pass during the weekday. And if you’re unsure whether you should get one, you can just buy the regular ticket and have it upgraded after, if you discover that the lines are super long.
Still one of the best experiences ever. EK still has it! We had a blast!

Still the happiest place for me. But I would recommend renovating some parts of the park especially in the Rialto area. To have more food stands and more interactive rooms or areas for kids. I wish that the horror train was part of the entrance fee.

The rides were fun and exciting experience but the only problem I come across was the line for the rides because of too Many people it took me and my friends almost an hour to get in a ride and I advised you to bring your own rain coat or a spare clothes to change to if you're going to ride the Rio Grande Rapids and it's not allowed to bring food inside and if you want to get yourself a map of the enchanted kingdom just go to the guest magic or something and just ask them for a map or just ask one of the workers where to get them and no phone allowed in the rides

I'm a big kid at heart. I love water slides I had a great day here with my then partner & her kids. From the recent pictures it looks even better now with new attractions from when I was there last. I'd love to go back there again someday. It's a fantastic day out for the family.

Convenient and accessible water park if you are near the south.
Water activities for the kids were good but you need to take note of the hours when the certain water activities and attractions accommodate guests. The kids had fun at the Balsa River, Water Wahoo and the Twin Coco Nuts. Banana Kita which is beside Twin Coco Nuts didn't open at the time we visited.
Food and snacks in the resort were a bit pricey especially since they don't allow outside food and drinks. There are various kiosks and stalls inside the resort offering a variety of food choices from hotdogs, burgers, pizzas, grilled food, shakes, street foods and a plethora of choices of Filipino dishes.
Some of the restrooms need frequent cleaning by maintenance team to maintain cleanliness especially on a weekend where there are a lot of guests.
Parking fee is flat rate Php 50 (cash only) which you pay upon entering the parking area.
You can pay for the entrance tickets using cash, credit card or Paymaya (no GCash or Grabpay). However, you'll need to go to a different cashier and pay in cash if you want to avail of daytime accommodations such as nipa hut, casitas, tiki hut or tree house.
They provide discounted rates for PWDs and children with a height of 3 ft and below are free.

1 star because of filth and failure to maintain sanitary conditions. Garbage all over the grounds. The 1000 pesos rental hut we rented has food all over. A 1000 pesos is not cheap for a few hours. The big pool has inflables games in the back, and they are very entertaining. You'll have to pay for other activities like climbing or golf. Also for paintball, 500 pesos. And the paintball court is very small, it's not worth it.
The calm river is great, and the slides too. I went in january and the place felt almost empty, all for ourselves.

If I were some dud from the country side, I would have rated this place a good 3. It's a clean and lavish place for people who want to go to malls that are not necessarily crowded. It's also a good place to hangout, and EAT. The restaurants there are good, especially Crisostomo and another Spanish-centred restaurant. The cinemas in this place are god cold so pack you jacket with you of you want to watch a film here. The cinematic experience is better here than anywhere else I've gone in the Philippines, so I always bring my jacket if feel the whim of going to the cinemas.

The Santo Niño de Paz Greenbelt Chapel is a modern, dome-shaped Catholic church with open sides that sits in a tree-filled park amidst skyscrapers. It's one of the Makati City Tourist Spots and is very impressive with its bright yellow stained glass window.
Best to wait outside and start queuing about 45 minutes before the start of the mass, as seating inside is very limited due to social distancing. Saturday anticipated masses are currently at 4 pm and 6 pm. Mass can be solemn even if this chapel is literally just beside the shopping area.
Nestor PRECIOSO — Google review
An oasis during the weekday masses, almost open air since apart from roof and posts, chapel is open to beautifully landscaped grounds.
There is a confessional and times of masses and other activities are clearly posted.
The current chaplain Fr Dave Concepcion, gives practical and very interesting homilies. He was also very patient and accommodating to a child who brought a huge bottle of water to be blessed.
I also like how Fr Dave always ends his masses with the prayer of Padre Pio after communion “Stay with me Lord”.
Worth your while to come here for mass.
Marie C — Google review
Located inside Greenbelt, Makati City area. Attended the mass today for the second death anniversary of my sister. I find this chapel charming. The interiors are lovely. Attending mass here is not crowded. There are still vacant seats, though I was a bit late.
They also have place to light the candles just outside the chapel. And there is one guy who sees to it that candles are available and there are spaces to light the candle. He carefully removed candles that are mostly melted, so that other church goers can lit theirs.
I find it clean too and visitors are not noisy.
It was a Blessed Friday. 3.15.24

Would recommend going here early if you want to be seated inside the church. Since the capacity is limited, people queue an hour earlier. In our case, since the mass was at 4PM, we were already at the middle of the line at around 3:10PM. Also, would be better to call instead of depending on the site. The schedule they published was different from what the actual schedule was. Referring to the site, it said 3PM, then when we got there at around 2:30PM, we were told it was at 4PM.

I would say that it is really such a solemn place though it was in the middle of a mall like if you are right in there it is quiet and a time where we can offer our prayers, even confessions do so quite accessible into the community.

Visiting here on the weekdays out of curiosity and it has been such a pleasant visit. Uniquely located in the middle of Greenbelt Mall Park Complex, surprisingly it's really tranquil and offer you a whole experience of visit.
Not only available for prayer, you can do confession to the booths available in here or take seats on the outside chapel as well and enjoy the serene scenery. Also love the interior quite much! 👌

Never did i expect to find a beautiful Catholic chapel built right in the middle of a high fashion and chic shopping district, completely integrated into the Greenbelt Mall development, surrounded in greens. The serenity, the piety, and the deep faith of the community was radiant and most admirable. There were many young people in silent contemplation spending time with the Lord. There was also a priest waiting in the confessional box. The entire scene was so beautiful, calming, and humbling. So I knelt and made the sign of the Cross and prayed with the community. Time stood still. I love this chapel.

Sitting inside on one of the comfortable pews, one is almost mesmerised by this oasis of peace and tranquility in the heart of a hustle and bustle environment. I have been to Greenbelt many times and found this chapel for the first time - No visit to Greenbelt can be complete without stopping in here, saying a prayer and thinking -
“O Lord my God! When I in awesome wonder consider all the works thy hand hath made, I see the stars, I hear the mighty thunder,
thy power throughout the universe displayed;
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to thee, how great thou art, how great thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to thee, how great thou art, how great thou art!
When through the woods and forest glades I wander and hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees; when I look down from lofty mountain grandeur and hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze:
Then sings my soul…
And when I think that God, his Son not sparing, sent him to die – I scarce can take it in that on the cross, my burden gladly bearing, he bled and died to take away my sin:
Then sings my soul…
When Christ shall come with shouts of acclamation and take me home – what joy shall fill my heart!
Then shall I bow in humble adoration
and there proclaim, ‘my God, how great thou art…”

Sto. Niño de Paz Chapel or commonly known as Greenbelt Chapel is one of the loveliest and solemn place to visit in Makati. It's a green oasis in the middle of the busy Makati business center. I highly recommend visiting this chapel early in the morning, where you'll experience the quietest time to talk to our Lord. All you hear are birds chirping and the the rumbling leaves of trees around as the wind pass. Enjoy the relaxing dance of kois at the pond and some gentle, cute cats that cross the pathways as you walk around. You'll definitely fall in love with the dome-shaped, open chapel and all its landscape design if you are new to this place. But most importantly, the silent moment with God. This is also one of our favorite chapels here in Manila since the time when me and my wife worked back in the 90's. The chapel has a daily mass schedule at 7am, 12nn and 6pm on weekdays and 12nn, 4pm and 6pm on Saturdays, and on Sundays, 7am, 9am, 1030am, 12nn, 3pm, 4pm and 6pm.
Ayala Museum is a private museum in Metro Manila, Philippines that features collections of art, history, and culture. The most valuable part of the collection is the "Gold of Ancestors" exhibit which displays over a thousand pieces of gold jewelry from the 16th century. The museum also has rotating art exhibits that feature Filipino masters such as Luna and Amorsolo.
A must-visit place for any Filipino citizen to immerse oneself in the Filipino identity and culture, the museum is a multi-level facility. I certainly highly recommend the Filipino History dioramas. The old Filipino Masters Painting collection is a must-see too. Some sections/areas are not yet open to the public though.

If you are interested on Spanish time Arts incorporated with Filipino History, this place is perfect for you.
I was given the chance to visit the Ayala Museum as an AYLC 2022 delegate and I am thankful for the opportunity.
Here, I was able to see a lot of significant arts (from well known artists). It also gave us a glimpse of Philippines history.
What I liked the most in this museum is the Dioramas. It was well made and it incorporated the history of what happened before.
This museum has a lot to offer. And I assure you, the general admission would be worth it. Though of course, there are restrictions to be followed. Some these restrictions include "not taking photos" of some of the art works, crafts, and others.

Besides from the pricey entrance fee, I've been wanting to go here since it's around the Metro. The museum highlights an impressive collection of gold artifact (The Ayalas are definitely rich people). The museum is a treasure trove of knowledge and a visual treat for the visitors. I enjoyed the dioramas a lot! I think it's new since the renovation recently. I suggest noting down about historical events when walking down the diorama part since it's very interactive and if you're history fan like me then this place is for you.

Ayala Museum is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in Philippine history, culture, and art. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with a sense of wonder and discovery. The museum's layout is well-designed, making it easy to navigate and explore the diverse exhibits.
One of the highlights of Ayala Museum is its comprehensive collection of artifacts and artworks that beautifully showcase the rich heritage of the Philippines. The Gold of Ancestors exhibit is particularly captivating, with its stunning display of ancient gold jewelry and ceremonial objects. It provides a glimpse into the country's pre-colonial past and the extraordinary craftsmanship of its ancestors.
The museum also offers a fascinating journey through Philippine history through its meticulously crafted dioramas. These vivid scenes transport you to pivotal moments in the nation's development, allowing you to immerse yourself in the past and gain a deeper understanding of the country's cultural identity.
Moreover, Ayala Museum embraces contemporary art, featuring a range of thought-provoking exhibitions that highlight the talent and creativity of Filipino artists. The modern art section offers a refreshing contrast to the historical exhibits and demonstrates the vibrant and evolving nature of Philippine art.
Throughout my visit, the museum staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the exhibits. Their enthusiasm was contagious, enhancing the overall experience and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Additionally, Ayala Museum regularly hosts educational programs, workshops, and events that further enrich visitors' understanding of Philippine culture and history. These activities provide valuable opportunities for learning and engagement, particularly for students and families.
Lastly, I appreciate the amenities provided by the museum, such as a well-stocked gift shop where you can find unique souvenirs and books related to Philippine arts and culture.
In conclusion, Ayala Museum is a gem that showcases the diverse and fascinating aspects of Philippine heritage. Its impressive collection, engaging exhibits, and knowledgeable staff make it a truly memorable destination for locals and tourists alike. I highly recommend visiting Ayala Museum to discover the beauty and depth of Philippine history and culture.

Very interesting museum if you want to learn more about the culture and history of the Philippines. It's a pleasant place and it covers several subjects, such as gold items, porcelain, history of the Philippines and paintings. Every single peso is worth the investment for the knowledge you get.

This is an exceptionally good museum. The building itself is pristine and the exhibition spaces well laid out over several floors with interpretation boards in English.
The modelling of the dioramas tracing the history of the Philippines was particularly good. In the section chronicling ancient gold artickes, the display cases were usefully fitted with magnifying glasses so as to see the fine craftsmanship.
Also a section featuring 19th C Artist Luna and accompanying video documentary was very interesting. Definitely worth a visit

Good way to spend an afternoon when in this part of Makati. Soft opening price is at 350 pesos, and you will need to book and pay for your visit online before coming here. Budget about 90 minutes to visit the museum including the latest galleries. Was super amazed to see the dioramas! Last time I was here was in the 90s, so seeing the dioramas definitely takes me back.

I only had a few minutes there since I had to be somewhere. But the Splendor exhibition was really great! Juan Luna was truly a gifted painter and every Filipino should catch the exhibit as it lasts only until December 31, 2023, then it goes back to its owner.

What an exquisite museum!! I learned so much about Philippines history and culture. The diorama displays are incredible and detailed. The textiles are beautifully displayed. Just an absolute hidden gem. Come visit!!

One of the most unique museums I've been. I especially enjoyed the historical dioramas depicting and narrating the history of the Philippines (located in the 2nd floor). The artists took time to meticulously make them. Truly amazing!
Saw the Juan Luna exhibit of his long-lost masterpiece.
I really loved all the exhibits. Kudos to the museum curators and staff.

Went there on May 15, 2022 and availed of their soft opening rate this pandemic at Php350 per person. Several sections were still closed during my visit.
Was able to see the gallery at 3F which shows artworks and artifacts proving that Philippines, even during pre-colonial times, is more intertwined with the rest of the world.
Also saw a gallery of minimalist/abstract paintings.
The 2F is best explored if you're really in the mood to do a deep dive in the Philippine history. Best enjoyed with the Ayala Museum app which allows you to play recordings to help explain the diorama. There were more than 50 dioramas and you may need around 2 minutes each.

Very informative Museum! The Art Collections and paintings were amazing! Even more the Gold Jewelry Collections. The dioramas from the ancient civilization to the modern one were so intricately done. One way of connecting the dots….. 😀. And its In the Heart of Metropolis Makati just beside Glorietta Malls.

My sister and I went there yesterday free entrance because it was international museum day. There are four floors but what we liked the most were the gold collections, the beautiful work of gold, different types of cloth, ancient tools and so on. The staff are also kind in assisting the guests, there are also booths for free coffee and brownies. A fun experience.

I can vividly remember this museum as one of the places we visited on our school field trips during mid 70s.. This is along Makati Avenue cor Dela Rosa Street in Makati City. A glimpse from the window glass panel outside you can view some of their best piece of artifacts collection from the old century.

It is a great place to spend with school going kids to get them excited about the Philippines history. The fashion, gold ornaments and pins, the art, the depictions of various important historical milestones, all made them engaged for 2hrs. I would highly recommend downloading the museum app before hand and to take your headphones along to get the audio explanation of various artifacts.

I don't know if I would classify it as a museum, but that's what ot is called.
There are different exhibitions on the different floors. Floor 2 is about the history of the Philippines. You can follow in numerical order (in print and very illustrative puppet scenes), what has happened in the Philippines and how the country has developed. Floor 3 is mostly about the famous painter from the Philippines Juan Luna, and you can to see some of his masterpieces. Floor 4 is very much about gold and works in gold from the 10th century to the 13th century.

Ayala Museum is a well-curated museum and art gallery.
Highlights of our Nov 2023 visit:
1. “Splendor”, the Juan Luna exhibit - It includes a nice film which tells the story of how “Hymen, oh Hyménée” resurfaced after years of being kept in France. Every Filipino needs to see this. Such a masterpiece!
2. “Gold of Ancestors” - Spectacular display of antique gold pieces from the pre-Spanish era. The exhibit is modern with an intro video + clever ways of examining the art. (Don’t miss out on the drawers.)
3. Diorama - Creative way of telling Philippine history. We enjoyed going from window to window. Learned a lot!

Love the discount for teachers and the efficient ticketing system. Start from the top floor, the gold exhibit then spend the remaining time for the remaining exhibits. Weekdays are not so crowded days.

Ayala Museum is a museum in Makati privately run by the Ayala Foundation. We have been going there since I was a little girl together with my family. I learned a lot about Philippine history through the dioramas and other exhibits inside. I'm so happy to be able to be back here after how many decades. It is definitely bigger with more exhibits to offer like the Indigenous Textiles, ceramics and cultural currency, the globe digital gallery to name a few. It is very worth while to visit this museum.

Greenbelt Park, Makati Avenue, corner Dela Rosa Street, Ayala Center, Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines
The Ayala Triangle Gardens is a landscaped urban public park in the Philippines Makati area. It features green grass, towering trees, and rows of restaurants making it a popular family hangout. The park is well known for its spectacular lights-and-sounds show that runs for a month every Christmas season.
Even though it is not like the old times where the green grounds is still a literal triangle, the owners still managed to keep the grounds and the trees in tacked. I also love that the happy and lively vibe of the place is going back even with covid still around.
I did go back to the grounds to witness the Art fair 2022 which is indeed a breath of fresh air and a good opening this year. It features modern art from different artists. It was a really good ensemble.

Such a beautiful place to cool down after walking all day (which i did). Really clean and abundantly green lawns. It was so peaceful and totally worth the visit. It almost seemed like the humidity disappeared when i stepped into the park.
Not far but within the same area there’s an underground shopping area with some cafe’s and restaurants. It seems to be under development and hopefully will be completed soon.
Enjoy my pictures.

This expansive lawn with trees and flowering plants is one of the last lungs of Makati's concrete jungle. You can stroll, dine, exercise or do your fitness routine. Towering buildings surround this place but has its own atmosphere. This ever changing spot is a breather to the hectic and busy life of Makati's central business district.

Visiting here during weekdays and the park really offers a nice place to stroll around and take a breather. However, there's nothing much to do in here as there are no other facilities - asides from the Ayala Triangle Garden plaza that you can visit. Hopefully there'll be more facilities to be built in here!
The Ayala Triangle Garden plaza itself is quite nice and offers selections of dining and cafe outlets to choose. Really love the building design and concept!

Ayala Triangle is a beautiful place to hang out, offering a serene and vibrant ambiance. Ayala continues to imbibe how we can make business districts as livable and walkable communities. Ayala Triangle Gardens is one of proof of it! Surrounded by tall buildings yet this garden makes you feel serene and quiet. You can feel the breeze of the sun in this summer time.
People are allowed to sit and stay in the grass area and it is even pet-friendly! You can have water jug because we think having a picnic is prohibited. We saw one family politely asked a guard to quickly and properly dispose their food and garbage.
You can stay as long as you want (park is open until 10pm) too just practice clean as you go and do not leave your things unattended.
There is parking beside Blackbird. You should be along Makati Avenue so that parking will be on your right side.
Closest mall is Greenbelt 5, which has a parking area as well. From Greenbelt, you can pass thru the underground walkway to Ayala Triangle, it is a 5-minute walk from Paseo entrance.

Super great place to hang, have a picnic, even work, mag munimuni, eat dinner, take a run, introspect, be with others, or just chill out and slow down. Ayala Triangle Gardens truly sets the bar for what an accessible people-centric park should be especially at the heart of the Makati Ayala Central Business District. Super glad we have one of these in our midst as Filipinos. They also have an upscale mall that looks remarkable with its lush greeneries and astounding architectural hill-esque design. They also of course house the original Philippine Stock Exchange, as well as other upscale restaurants. Definitely a must visit for those living and working in the area, especially on a weekday and off peak hours.

Cute place to make friends and to go for a stroll. I loved the trees they are so beautiful and enduring.
I enjoyed the architecture of the surroundings edifices and the areas where one can sit and chat with a friend or loved one.
For sure worth a visit to anyone coming from abroad. Green spaces in Makati are most welcome! As others have said it’s good for a jog, people watching, and can serve as a refugee from the hustle and bustle of the megapolis that is the city of Manila.

The place is spacious and clean, but it is also very plain. There is not much to see, just people, dogs, and children walking around, running around, and playing. Some old people are doing zumba, which is entertaining to watch. It would be nice if there were some attractions, not just a plain grassy area in the center of high-rise buildings.
PR4X — Google review
A place to enjoy Makati city and the park itself. Man made parks were made though trees have not been shady and thick. The health of the trees, its canopies have shaded out compared to the previous years. They needed rehabilitation and care.
Though lights were structured for its illumination purposes, it gives beauty and light. Shops are recently renovated so stalls were put to cater snacks, coffee and such.
Still looking forward to how Ayala Triangle Gardens will turn out to a greener haven in the future.

I love the place, sits comfortably in the middle of a busy business center. Here they sometimes host art fare, a lot of dining options (but on the expensive side usually) and close to other malls like Greenbelt. The cons here: it's just a small land space, and you can't cycle around as it's not allowed. But they do have bike parking.

The light show before Covid was much better. The Christmas songs used are more traditional. Now it seems more techno and the show is shorter. It is only 7 minutes long. I recently visited Regina Rica in Tanay, and the experience was truly serene and peaceful. The atmosphere is solemn, enhanced by the presence of the beautiful image of the Virgin Mary. The good sunny weather added to the overall positive vibe.
🌿 The gardens are lovely, but I suggest enhancing them with more flowering plants to make the surroundings even more captivating.
🍽️ While the restaurant offers a peaceful dining experience, it would be great if there's a stronger emphasis on "Clean as You Go" to maintain the serene ambiance, especially since not all diners are mindful.
🚽 Accessibility to comfort rooms is crucial, especially for the elderly or senior citizens. Ensuring easy access would contribute to a more comfortable experience for all visitors.
🌱 Additionally, it would be wonderful to see more plant-based options on the menu. Embracing a variety of choices would cater to different dietary preferences and promote a healthier lifestyle.
🍲 If you choose to dine at the restaurant, I highly recommend trying the Molo Soup and Mushroom Barbecue. Its super delicious 🤤
Overall, Regina Rica is a gem, and these suggestions are meant to enhance the experience for everyone. Highly recommend for those seeking tranquility and spiritual reflection.

Had the privilege of visiting Masungi Georeserve for the 9th time (6 times at the Legacy Trail, thrice at side trails and once at Discovery Trail) and every visit is a memorable learning and life-changing experience. All dedicated forest rangers are well versed in the changing landscape and diversity of flora and fauna. The experience differs depending on the weather. I prefer windy, cloudy weather when going up there. The Sierra Madre is more dramatic with rain clouds. Beyond the transformations, the team behind Masungi Georeserve is focused on restoring the lost and abused part of the Upper Marikina Watershed Area. Masungi Georeserve is a platform to make anyone fall in love with nature in a much deeper level. The Masungi Georeserve experience should be in every nature lover's bucket list.

Great experience! We did the Legacy trail which was a 5-6 hour hike. The experience was a mix of hiking and relaxing (they gave us an hour to rest by the hanging houses). We also had a short tree planting / nurturing activity. The hike itself was a bit long- with some parts having an actual path and some seemed a bit more off trail. Food was included served in banana leaves. Overall a nice experience with a group of friends! Better to go early to avoid extreme heat.

We did the Discovery Trail trek and it was a fun- filled morning. The nature’s views were absolutely stunning and we were amazed how safe the trek went by. Unforgettable experience with the help of our friendly and professional guide (Sarah).

Awesome experience!!! The hike is scenic and it was easy. Would love to go back there if camping / night trek would be allowed. Our tour guide, Joy, was awesome. This nature haven should be supported and protected. #SaveMasungi #SupportMasungi

Great outdoor experience just an hour outside the city
We came here not really having any expectation and had such a great time. Very well organized and friendly guide. Had the 3 hour hike with amazing views and so well taken care of. Will definitely recommend.

Masungi Georeserve Dayhike (Legacy Trail)
Overall, the experience was fun and fulfilling. All the steps you take in the trail are worth it. Indeed, connecting with nature is always the best. I hope that every person who will visit Masungi will have a safe and fun experience and that they will appreciate and love nature more. Let's respect, preserve and protect our nature thru our own efforts.

No walk in visitora, prebooking required. We arrived 730 am 30 mins ahead of our time slot (8am) and the group ahead of us arrived exactly on the dot (745 am) but there was one more person than the prebooked slots so they couldnt be let inside. Problem was the guard also wouldnt let us in while the other group couldnt get.in because they had to call the booking office. We were able to enter at 815 am already. The trail is a one way trail. Once you get in there is no turning back. You will have to finish the entire loop in 3 to 4 hrs. Very challenging for sedentary individuals. The forest ranger/guide was very patient and supportive of my autistic son who had trouble following insteuctions. The trail was also very interesting with aome paved steps. The caves and crevices had hanging hammocks and swings in some portions.it was an experience worth remembering. I wish I started trekking and hiking when i was younger

It's our first time to hike/trek. We absolutely love it! It was hard, scary and exciting at the same time! We will definitely go back to explore the other 2 trails.

This is the most amazing place we saw in Philippines so far.
If you are looking for weekend adventure - this is the place. Book in advance, cause it's too good to be open for walk in tourist.

Third time here and I’m still in awe of the beauty of Masungi. We were there at 6:00 am and completed the trail by 9:30 am. Our guide was exceptional! The snack served before we ended was good. Do sign the petition to remove quarrying in Masungi and its larger protected area. Also, note that the government wants to convert the area to a correctional facility.
If your nature lover, you might consider this place. The park features a diverse range of ecosystem which includes forest, rivers and waterfalls. it is also home of variety of wild life such as birds, monkeys and lizards. This is great destination if you want to experience beauty of nature while supporting sustainable tourism!.

The water hike is to easy..
A hil hike is more interesting but still short 35 minute , hardest trail. This adventure is more for easy family park walk , for hikers looking more intense hike it is not worth the time going here and back , 5 hour total travel tike by car.

Great place to get away from the city! Only about 1.5 hours away but when you're there it feels like a totally different world. Hardly any cell signal, but that can be a good thing too. The trail hike was harder than I expected, the river walk was refreshing!
Food was amazing!

Had a disappointing experience, we went to the resort to mainly go up the mountain as it was included in the package. Took the 5 am hike, woke up at 4, came down at 4 40 when they said be ready at 445 in the lobby. Area was pitch black, we waited 2 hours then the guards told us the tour probably won't happen and the next one was 10am. When we went to see the receptionist at 8 he said the guy called in sick?? Why not let us know if that was the case to begin with? Asked for a refund for a wasted night and he said it's part of the package so they cannot refund us....... The same thing happened the next day, they told us the guide will come pick us up from the room. We woke up at 4 am turned the lights on opened the door at 4 55 and 5 10 and no one was there so we went back to sleep at 5 30 to not waste any more time. Came down and they said we missed it?????? Seriously disappointed in the staff. When you ask for something it should be delivered, they can come wake us up if we were sleeping... It's a contract. 2nd thing was the food, dinner is good but a breakfast for 350 pesos and you get 1 egg 4 pieces of bacon and 4 piece fruit salad was disappointing. You can buy this anywhere for around 100-150 pesos. Lastly the staff was very shy which should not be the case when you work in a customer service environment. Overall the place was nice but extremely pricy for the lack of service, location, activities and communication from the employees.

A really wonderful experience. Spent 3 days and 2 nights with the family and friends last week. Great service, delicious food and fun activities to keep all ages occupied. This was the second trip to the resort and will definitely come back again.

Time your trip right so you can avoid large day trip groups. Excellent hiking adventure for the kids. We stayed in one of the cottages while some friends pitched tents.

We had a nice vacation for 2 days here. The place is cozy and relaxing. Love the breeze. The people are very friendly. The river and forest trips are great. We stayed in a Casita, and it was really well maintained, clean, fresh and we appreciate the structure and design. The food is great! Fresh, tasty and filling! Just a quick 1.5 hr travel from Manila

Great place to stay. Really enjoyed the nature there, the ambience, the temperature is sooo cool and refreshing even without aircon on their casitas. Great food too ( no menu available here so you just have to eat what they serve but it's all sumptuous naman)! Though cash basis lang sila and we were not informed before hand kaya ang hirap ng payment. So better prepare cash specially if you only paid dp before coming. No wifi din since you really have to disconnect to connect (but it's a good thing, you have time to meditate and enjoy the nature) only Smart Network works. Be sure to bring a set of slippers and hiking shoes for the pre-activities.
Overall, we enjoyed the place ❤️

I love their mission! Great place to stay and #disconnecttoreconnect Place is kid friendly and has alot of areas to explore. Food is very yummy, just the right amount of portion. We tried the hard trail to hike up the mountain and it was a blast! The view from up top is amazing. Tour guides are very friendly. I would definitely come back and bring family and friends here so they too can experience the serene and tranquility that this nature reserve has to offer.

It was a fun and nice calming nature experience. Good food really heavy meals. Nice ambience cozy rooms feels like natures home. River trip is outside the vicinity and you go for a walk in the community. Hiking is inside the area a lot of uphill steeps. Has a play area for kids. Game room with small court, table tennis, billiards (table and taco is in bad condition.) Has a nice pool to dip in. Many cabanas and places to chill n relax. We got the couple package for ₱5400 casita room w/ bfast and lunch overnight. Overall its a good place to be with nature and peaceful environment. Staffs are also friendly. We had to problem at all. They had bonfire at night too.

Who would have known that you don't need to travel far for a great relaxation.
I love the place soo much. Very homey and nature-y.. All staff are friendly and accommodating.
I like it most that you can just sit and relax to any open huts and just be.. Then appreciate the birds chirping, wind passing through the trees, the sound of the small river flowing, then at night you'll hear crickets, feel the cool breeze and if you're lucky you'll spot fireflies around. Very relaxing!!
The food selections are also superb! No need to worry about getting hungry at all! (though all meals are pre-booked)
The forest hike is a must do where you can get the chance to witness sea of clouds, really amazing! River trek as well is an extra-ordinary experience! you will literally walk in the river. The balsa ride gives you the best view of the mountains.
Mount Purro Nature Reserve is truly a hidden gem that everyone needs to visit to appreciate more our nature and also an eye opener on how to be more pro-active in helping save our environment.

One of the best nature reserve within the Rizal province the few draw backs is that the service in the dining area are not so organized. They keep missing our pre order meals and seems so confused about the numbers of meals they serve us. We booked for 17 adults and 2 kids. If we didn't ask if the breakfast includes coffee or hot chocolate they won't even serve this drinks to us. The trail tour consist of 2 tour guides one leads the groups and one is the sweeper. The sweeper dissappear during our walk with 3 of the ppl in our groups and they have no form of communication except one walkie talkie we have no idea what happened to the other group. We find out that they only have one walkie talkie and most of them are broken. In case of emergency there's no way to communicate between the 2 tour guides. Other than that the place is very cozy and relaxing.

This is the place to be if you want to commune with nature. There are 4 hiking trails of varying difficulty. However, some parts have been eroded due to the heavy rains. Safety ropes need to be put in place.
There is a free river crossing that comes with your entrance. The nearby river (about 15 min walk) is NOT recommended. There are road hazards going to the river and the water is murky
Note: There is no wifi nor mobile phone signal so better inform sigbificant people about your whereabouts.

I give it an additional star for its purpose but other than that, they should really train their staff better.
My chief complaints would just be about their food. Although their food is delicious and comforting, I find their juices a little too sweet and vegetables a little too salty. My family and I would dilute more than half of the glass with water just to thin out the sweetness of the juices. And I'd eat 1 piece of sayote at a time with a tablespoonful of rice just to reduce the saltiness of the dish. They're also pretty clueless about what vegetarians eat and don't eat. I was asked if they can serve our vegetarian with fish, or even chicken. They're probably just making sure but it's a stretch.
On a positive note, it's pretty easy to book their activities. They just need to work on their communication skills instead of replying to me with "We will find out if Activity A will happen when you get here." Not everyone's as spontaneous as those without kids.

We rented tent space for our trip. The view inside is calm and tranquil. The spacing is not crowded and there is nearby comfort rooms with shower and bidet. The water is not heated though. The light is just enough to navigate at night.
Food is average but multi-course for dinner, the breakfast was much more tasty. Staff were responsive and helpful. The hikes and river adventure was fun. You NEED sandals or hiking shoes as it is slippery and muddy. Ok for beginners as long as you pace yourself.
