Bruno's Art and Sculpture Garden, situated on Falls Road near the town center, is a fascinating and distinct destination. For a cash payment of $10 per adult, visitors can explore the gardens adorned with approximately 160 sculptures. The amount of effort invested in this popular attraction is evident from its meticulous design. Notably, it is located amidst a lush rainforest environment, adding an enchanting touch to the experience.
Life changing experience.. Bruno is extremely talented person and so humble to chat with.. his sculptures are beautiful and takes you to a different world. My almost 5 years old loved strolling into garden.. the music was amazing and surprisingly created by Bruno.. I purchased a CD too. Would love to go again.

It is such a wonderful place to come and check out the art and sculptures throughout the garden. Our host, who greeted us at the entrance and explained about the gardens, sculptures, and artwork that was around the grounds. To get back to where they are now after the fires in 2009, which burnt everything in its path, is great. Thank you. The kids especially enjoyed walking through finding all the hidden sculptures. As you walk around, you can still see the scars from that devastating fire in areas still under reconstruction.

A gorgeous place. I wandered the gardens for hours and I'm sure there's still some sculptures I'd missed. Through his many, many works, Bruno demonstrates so many different things: a deep love for his wife, a respect for his father, his creative use of real world items, an eye for the abstract and the ability to hide small details in the most obvious of places, and my personal favourite, a good sense of humour.
There was one piece in particular that stood out, a lone hooded stone figure, in the middle of a small, circular path, facing away from the main path. Curiosity got the better of me, and I stretched my head around so I could see the figure's face. Under the hood was a mirror, revealing the sculpture's face to be my own, almost like a prank is being played on the viewer. I think the greatest part of Bruno's work is how much fun and passion he's clearly put into it.
He and his wife seem to run the place alone and they're doing a fine job of it. They were quite personable and professional, and seemed to have fun describing the circumstances of each piece in the indoor gallery, as well as walking through the gardens, commenting on some pieces and even bringing certain details to my attention.
Lovely place, I hope to return again sometime.

Visited this place last month with my friends and family.
More than the place if you are from Melbourne you will love the drive to the place as it takes you around small ups and downs to reach there.
This place is good but sometimes feels like way to tight to walk as the trees and some
Plants need to be maintained.
Sitting 🪑area was not widely open so have to adjust whatever option is there. This is a good place but it can be maintained to get more business.
Like if there could be a coffee shop around that would be great so that you don’t have to go back to get one.
Most importantly you need to plan minimum 30-45 minutes so when you are visiting please plan your trip accordingly.

Wow! Just wow!
Bruno's art and sculpture garden is a mesmerising place. The amount of effort that Bruno and his partner have put in to re-create this place after it was destroyed in the black fires is commendable.
Bruno is passionate about art and his work is impressive beyond words.
There is a nominal entry fee. If you're interested in art then spare a couple of hours because you will be here adoring every single sculpture.

Great work by Bruno. Worth visiting for the price he charges. Not far from town centre. The wet weather gave the entire place a magical feel. The creek and small water holes were all filled up.

Highly recommend a visit to Bruno's sculpture garden! Such a magical, whimsical place with surprises waiting at every corner. Make sure to follow the white arrows so you don't miss a thing. And bring cash if you can as no cards are accepted but bank transfer is possible

Very exciting place to visit. Both Bruno and Christiana were lovely to talk to you. It is fortunate that such lovely artists are here and have the passion to share their arts and vision to public. Highly recommended

Fantastic, we spent almost 2 hours in the garden and its was magical, had a great chat with Bruno and his wife. And the accompanying gallery is great as well, Bruno is a national treasure!!

We went here with our friends. Really liked the environment and experience. I felt like walking in a sci-fi movie scene. Everything were so artistic and real. I was really surprised how he has recovered everything after terrible fire incident about 10 years ago.

We loved this place. It was very hot and a true oasis was waiting inside. A magical place for children especially for fairy realm lovers. Loved how some of the sculptures were mixed with the natural features and trees. Very talented. Had a chat to Bruno who was welcoming and interested in how we liked our visit. Thanks it was lovely.

Amidst the towering trees of Marysville, the whispers of ancient magic still linger. Step into a world where nature and fantasy intertwine, and walk the paths that could lead you to adventure. In the Bruno's Art and Sculpture Garden, myths and legends come alive amidst the majestic beauty of the landscape.

I visited this place on a recent weekend away with friends and had such a great day I had to come back to Marysville for a day with mum a few weeks later to share it too. Bruno was so lovely and made the visit even more special! What a spectacular place and amazing artistic mind on show! Love this highly recommend a visit.

Really cool art and sculpture place! $15 entry fee and cash only. Soooo many sculptures and so creative. Definitely worth a look.
Steavenson Falls is a well-known tourist attraction in Victoria that boasts an 84-meter drop and offers camping grounds, trails, and viewing platforms. Visitors can enjoy an easy 700-meter walk to the waterfall, which is floodlit between dusk and midnight for nighttime viewing. The area also has additional walking tracks, including an 800-meter hike to the top of the falls. However, parking can be a problem at times with warning signs in place.
So amazing.
The falls are an easy walk from the parking lot. The falls are powerful and there is plenty of water. Certainly worth visiting.
There is also some great hiking in this area, if you have extra time.
Family friendly activity.

Nice spot. Very popular.
700m easy grade walk to waterfall. Nice viewing platforms.
Then 800m hike to the top of the falls.
(I didn't go)
Parking was a problem, but there was a warning sign well in advance reporting the problem. So you can turn back and go later, or wait in a queue.
Other walking tracks in area. You can even hike back to town.
No pets allowed on the walk.

Stevenson Falls such a great, peaceful, majestic, beautiful place. Whether it's a romantic day out with that special person, a fun family day or a great nature walk. Stevenson Falls is a place you can't miss. Victoria has so many wonderful places to see and little hidden gems. This is definitely one of those gems that needs to be on everyone's bucket list. With amenities and facilities, those comforts people need are available and after a shot walk from the car park to the Falls. It is sure to be a place you'll never forget. A definite must see.
Peter Niksic — Google review
The falls are always pretty and worth a look. There is a walk of about 700 metres along a fairly flat gravel path.
Watch out for snakes on a warm day.
It's a shame the track to the upper falls lookout and Keppels lookout was closed due to tree clearing works.
Nick Iles — Google review
First trip to Steavenson Falls and it is probably the best access and for viewing Falls in Victoria, I wish all the councils can provide similar wide, clean and flat walking path, and very strategic located and will built viewing platforms - not 1, but 3, near to each others but with different perspectives.
There are many other tracks around too for those enjoying forest walks or wish to walk to the top of the Falls. The Falls is in fact a 3 levels falls.
Michael Chen — Google review
It’s one the good waterfalls we’ve seen in Victoria. You can walk onto the stone below the waterfall at base. There are 2 viewpoints at base for clicking good pics. If you are up for a small hike, you can go to the top of the waterfall too. Definitely worth visiting.
Sushma Kollu — Google review
Great scenery and very easily accessible waterfall.
The path there was very well kept and nicely lit when it gets dark thanks to the in-house turbine supplying the electricity.
The trek up to the top of the falls can be a bit sketchy specially if it just rained in the area. The mud and the rocks will be tricky to navigate through during these times but rest assured, the view up the top is quite nice

Steavenson Falls is perfect for folks who like both short and long journeys. You can take a quick 800m path to see the falls or opt for a longer, about 1-hour hike to reach the top. No entry fee, and there's plenty of parking. I visited on a day when the parking ticket machine was closed, so no charges. The falls are beautiful, and you can choose how much adventure you want – whether a short stroll or a longer hike – making it a great spot for everyone.

Beautiful waterfall located in Marysville Victoria. Strollers can be taken up to the view point which is an advantage if you are traveling with a baby. Just about a 15 minute walk from the car park. If you are going to the top of the waterfall, the walk will take around 1-1.5 hrs but I’m sure the view will be amazing. Unfortunately we couldn’t make it with the kids.
There are some ticket machines in the car park which are not working so it is free of charge for now.
Loraine Angammana — Google review
Seriously beautiful falls just outside of Marysville. It's about 90 minutes from suburban Melbourne. There are toilets and car park (bring coins for meters). The walk to the falls from the car park is quite easy. The walk to the top of the falls is far more challenging. The elderly will need to take it in stages. Young kids will ask 4,000 times "are we there yet??". If you get to the top of the falls you are rewarded with a viewing platform that allows you great views of the valley. On a hot day it's wonderful to cool off your feet in the crystal clear water. There are several other hiking trails for those with too much energy. There are very few sizable falls close to Melbourne - this is one of them and well worth the trip.

This might not be the biggest waterfall, but you can get close to the waterfall to enjoy the sight and sound of the rushing water. The water volume is high and the environment is tranquil. It's winter during my visit so it can be quite chilly in the evening. It's worth visiting and I recommend it. ;)

Amazing place with a beautiful waterfall!
10-15 minutes walk to the top of the falls and if you wish there is another track that takes you even further to see a. Beautiful view of the mountains and the town below.
About 30 minutes in addition to the first trail.

What an amazing place ! This place is surrounded by kid friendly parks, creeks, lakes and eateries. The falls in itself was mind blowing. It is a short walk to the falls. For a better view of the falls, there are 2 kinds of treks - one that is easily doable by kids(4-7 years) for 45 mins and the other for more seasoned trekkers which is a longer half day trek. We loved coming here in July 2023.

Beautiful waterfall around Melbourne, Victoria.
🌈I went to Black Spur Drive and added an extra 30 minutes to drive to enjoy one of Victoria’s stunning waterfalls.🤩
📍STEAVENSON FALLS,Marysville, Victoria,
They have free parking, some time you might need to wait 5-10, if parking is full.
Need to walk 5-10 min with beautiful nature walk. 😍

One of my favourite waterfalls in Melbourne! You can see the falls from bottom or from the top.
Highly recommend to spend 15-30mins walking to the top of falls.
There is a Free parking area (the ticket machine is closed) but the parking slots are limited.
Mandy Choy — Google review
If you're looking for a waterfall with a decent fall, this will be a really good one to visit, it's got the height and the water rush. We were however visiting on a rainy day so that clearly impacts water density, though signs do indicate that they get falls throughout the year. You're not allowed to go into the water as it's the town water supply, and you can't really find spots to sit on right next to flowing water with views of the fall if you're thinking of a picnic. We visited in the day but there's a turbine that powers up flood lights at night (till 11pm) so that would be quite interesting if you were staying nearby. The walk is not difficult for the average person (flat), but there's railings all the way from the carpark which may come in handy for some. Path is also rubbled so it wasn't muddy even with the rain. Public toilets available.

Nice place/waterfall to visit, worth a short and easy walk from a free carpark. View from the top of the waterfall might not be worth it if you are with kids or in a hurry. There is also a hiking path around, near the top of the waterfall, however, again it might not be worth to take if you are not into longer hiking and with kids. The hiking path is not difficult though.

A water fall is close to the town centre, easy to access, short walks from parking. a good place to visit. We could even visit in night time, there're lights along the pathway, good experience (light off from 11pm)

You will definitely fall in love with the beauty of nature while hiking.
I would definitely recommend the hike around the Stevenson falls (Circuit) which is around 10kms.

serene and green location with 700-meter trek. Parking is convenient, but be prepared for basic restroom conditions. Remember to pack your own food, as there are no shops or stalls nearby.
Drive from Melbourne is scenic with hilly terrain leads to an "okay" destination.
Enjoy your peaceful adventure

A gorgeous and peaceful spot, only a five minute drive from town. Many of the tourists there are quite pleasant and respectful, at least in my own experience. I did the hike up to the top of the falls and loved it, despite being rather out of shape and having to push myself to do it. I didn't have the heart to try Keppel Lookout, maybe next time hahaha.

Lived in Melbourne for 20 or so years and had my first visit it Steavenson Falls. It's a beautiful spot just outside of Marysville and really easy to get around and the falls not far from the carpark. For those more energetic, there is also a much longer hike but that will be another day for us. Keep an eye out for the local wildlife, there's plenty to see, just check out my photos.
Toilets, seating at the falls and other places and plenty of informative signs all make the visit a great experience.

We drove four and a half hours to go see these falls today, it was very pretty at the bottom of falls and the walk up the track to the top was amazing, views from up there will not disappoint well worth a trip

It’s one of the best and beautiful experience to be here. We caught the trout ourselves which took almost 90 minutes for 6 (but quite big ones) fish. This place is very beautiful and very cheap. We were almost 12 people and the entry fee was only $20 for all of us including fishing 🎣 rods, unlimited time, and bbq grill. The staff is amazing, very polite and sweet. Definitely we will be here soon again. Keep it up guys👌👌👌👌👌👌

Great host running the place, with tonnes of fish. We actually had to be careful not to catch too many as it was getting expensive! Good prices and very cheap to get in, especially if you're a family. Would highly recommend!

Good place but the fishing was far too easy as the pools were full of fish. A good place to go with a group of friends, u can catch the fish and grill it over there. Perfect for a morning to evening plan.

Took my son there on the weekend and had a wonderful day. Hooked some huge trout using rods and lures I brought along. My son will remember this experience of fighting a big fish and watching it leap into the air for a long time. Highly recommend this trout farm.

It was a great experience of fishing here. It was my first time fishing experience. Trout fishes are in abundance in ponds here, rainbow trouts were getting hooked as soon as we cast the line. Owner isn't very cooperative, so good if you have some prior experience or if you get somebody fishing there to help you

Both my kids said, “100%, Five Star, Awesome!” We had a great afternoon, caught a few big trout and made a great first fishing memory for our kids. Beautiful natural surrounds, very helpful and friendly service, and everything included with the entry price (rods, bait, net, extra hooks, bucket, ice). We took the fish home already gutted and cleaned and ate it for dinner. Delicious! We’ll be back!

SNAKES!!
Just coming back from the pond. Too disappointing. The owner was kind of rude. Most of the places are not maintained at all. BBQs are so dirty and I doubt anybody used this place for BBQ within a year. Tried for fish in 2 ponds but didn't get anything for long time. Finally told the owner, his reply was, "I didn't told you to go to those ponds". Well, you didn't forbade us as well. You should advise at the beginning where to go. Last but more surprisingly, we found a snake crossing the walking path just after entering the pond. after half an hour we saw another snake in a place where my friend was standing and trying for fish. He left the place immediately after that. We still stayed and while leaving told the owner regarding the snakes. He told, did you eat them?
So disappointing. Don't want to pay for rude behave and can't risk my kids with snakes. Next time..."NO".

I would not go back and personally would not recommend the place when Buxton Trout & Salmon Farm is close by. The only experience I appreciated was the layout of the place, everything else was pretty bad.
The place is run only by two people (husband and wife) so on a crowded day, service is slow. Service was poor by the wife as she did not have a say and would have to go to the husband for everything. The husband was rude and I believe he was going through a hard time but that personally is no excuse.
I went today and no salmon was available. The husband made a comment along the lines of "I can't get the salmon to commit suicide to get you a salmon". (Thank you for clarifying that?)
Could not see any fish (trout) but other customers did manage to catch some. We spent 2 and a half hours there until closing time and did not catch any fish. We We had to resort to getting 2 from the fridge.
Admission is $5 per person and trout is $14.50 per kilo. We were a group of 10 people and paid $20.00 for the 2 trout fish which calculates to $70.00.
-never again-
Last year my school came here for our year 5/6 2022 camp we all loved it the staff were amazing they gave us great food and we did great activities however we did not get much sleep due to noise from outside and the bathrooms were ok but I still enjoyed the stay would definitely come back!

Cement Creek Redwood Forest, located within the Yarra Ranges National Park in Victoria, is a small yet stunning forest of Californian Redwoods. The 1467 well-planted trees reach heights of up to 55m and are surrounded by beautiful native forests. Visitors can enjoy several marked trails, picnic spots, and the peaceful banks of Cement Creek. Although parking may be limited during busy times, this magical forest is definitely worth a visit for those seeking breathtaking scenery and photo opportunities.
Well, personally I don’t mind exploring the small forest with other visitors (as long as the amount is reasonable). Actually, the other weekday when I was roaming around the forest with my partner, I came across other people meditating in the bush or on a cut trunk. Nobody bothered them in the least. They inspired me to sit a while for meditation. It was a really beautiful experience.

While the road in is closed, you can still reach it by taking the O'Shannassy Aqueduct track, although it's 6 to 7 km which is about 2 hours walk (one way). And the walk is mostly flat with great views of the forest. Mountain biking in would be yet an even better option.

Calming and relaxing spot for 1hour hike. Plenty of parking spots. There is a food truck at the entrance of the parking. Walking through the forest there are some trails next to the river. Easy to spot birds and friendly for kids and families. There are some art works across the forest.

A magic 'little' forest of California redwoods right here in Victoria. The forest is not that big but the trees themselves are breathtakingly tall and make for some wonderful photos. Our kids loved running through and hiding amongst the shady redwoods. The introduced giants are also amongst some lovely native forests and the park offers some peaceful places to sit on the banks of Cement Creek. Parking can be a bit fierce during busy times.

The road in is absolutely shocking condition, really big deep potholes past the bridge, so go carefully. The redwoods are fun to explore, and cement Creek is great for a paddle.

This place is absolutely beautiful. It’s so big so every time you go it feels like you get to see something new. The nests of fallen branches are really amazing and the creek running through is beautiful! Perfect place to spend the day and have a picnic

One of my favourite places to visit with the kids or interstate visitors located east of Melbourne. The forest is also known as Sherwood Forest a short 10 minute drive out of the township of Warburton. The densely planted Californian Redwoods form a perfectly lined tree area that is approximately 100m by 100m in size. Walking amongst the tall trunks is so freeing and wonderful. Big ‘nests’ line the forest floor made from the fallen branches which kids and adults can climb into. At the top end of the forest there is parking for approximate 30-40 cars but this can easily fill on busy weekends. At the bottom end of the forest is a less dense bush land and stream which you could easily spend 2 hours exploring. The bush land is not very well signed so one can get very lost if you step off the main tracks. Not to be missed. Enjoy!

Very nice Redwood Forest and so easy to walk around. So many tall young and old tree. With few mins walk, there is a creek. Many parking in front. There is no official one entrance to walk inside forest. The whole car park is the entrance. This forest is accessible by wheelchair.

This place is magical and serene at the best of times, but I chose to visit ½ hour before sunrise, on a beautiful clear morning (no clouds to hide the sun.)
I had the entire forest to myself, to explore alone!
The highlight was watching the sun rise between the majestic tree trunks!
This is an experience I'll never forget!

A beautiful forest experience.
I visited with my nieces and it was really fun to get out of the house and explore a real forest. You can follow the path or trek through the muddy wilderness and see some beautiful sights.
Lots of hot spots full of amazement, even some areas with giant logs to hop on, even a massive uprooted tree to explore.
Overall lovely experience.

Right here in Victoria, you will find magical redwood trees. Despite its small size, the forest is filled with tall trees that make for beautiful photos. So enjoy a book by the water or play hide-and-seek. There is a car park just in front of the forest, so it's a minute's walk to the woods. Besides the walking tracks, there are several cool creeks and shady spots for picnics.
A small nest has been created by visitors so that others can take beautiful pictures of it.
And there are no toilets, so plan accordingly. The nearest toilets are 3.4km away. Address: 410A Woods Point Rd, East Warburton VIC 3799
Best to stop at the toilets on the way in. There are also toilets in Warburton town.
It's best to drive here. Public transport is tricky as the frequency is not great. Also, it's very hard to get uber or taxi to town from Redwood forest.

This place has amazingly tall redwood trees! There were a lot of tourists during the time we were there, so it can be a bit difficult to get undisturbed photos. The photos with the forest are amazing regardless. Walking a little deeper, you can find small streams of water. Very peaceful

Our recent trip to Warburton's Redwood Forest was an unforgettable escape into nature's grandeur. The journey itself began with a scenic drive, the road winding through picturesque landscapes that hinted at the beauty to come. Upon reaching the O'Shannassy Aqueduct Trail, we embarked on a leisurely 3-hour walk, the anticipation building with every step.
Finally, the towering sentinels of the Redwood Forest came into view. These Californian Redwoods, some reaching an impressive 50 meters, stole our breath away. Their immense size and reddish bark created a mystical atmosphere, sunlight filtering through the canopy and dappling the soft forest floor. The silence, broken only by the occasional chirp of a bird, was incredibly calming. As we wandered among these ancient giants, their sheer scale instilled a sense of awe. It was a truly restorative experience, a perfect escape from the everyday hustle and bustle, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the serene beauty of the forest.

I love this place. It's worth a visit and has some nice walking trails, too. But for the most part, it's a great experience to feel grounded if you just let yourself embrace it all.

The Cement Creek Redwood Forest in the Yarra Ranges National Park has become an increasingly popular site for visitation over the last few years thanks to the enchanting and photogenic Californian Redwood trees.
Its dense forest is the beauty on itself. The alignment of plantations is mesmerizing.

Such a beautiful, serene, peaceful forrest. So glad it re-opened
I went on a Sunday arvo. It was busy but not too packed. I avoided the Saturday crowds. Dont forget to walk to the area behind the trees with the pretty creek. Nice views. A lovely piece of nature to top up your day

Beautiful getaway from the city. Located 90km from the city you can see beautiful and tall redwood forest. Even on the hot day of 38c it felt so relaxing under the sheds of tall redwood tress. Good family spots. On the return you may also enjoy a quick stop and bath on the shallow rivers flows. Perfect outing day on hot day. Parking is limited though and internet connetivity is challenging. You may find restrooms near the carltex servo not far.

One of Victoria's hidden gems. Beyond the incredible forrest there is also a beautiful and clear river as part of the trail. 10/10.

The alignment of the forest is incredibly beautiful, which make this place great for picnic under the shades. Those huge fern trees are also around to be viewed. Something special about this place is that brunches of trees are arranged in a bird nest shape, so take your time finding those spots in the forest. However to be noticed, the tracks are exposed to the sun in summer, so be careful of the sunburn. Also, no bathrooms available, you need to go back to the town.

Four Pillars Gin Distillery, located in Healesville VIC 3777, is a modern distillery specializing in producing a range of unique gins. The contemporary tasting room provides guests with the opportunity to sample their gin cocktails and snacks while enjoying the refreshingly modern decor. Although wine tasting is popular in Yarra Valley, Four Pillars offers an alternative experience with casual tastings and tutored masterclasses, showcasing their innovative approach to gin-making.
Quite a large space.
Good service.
So many different gins on offer.
We did a few cocktails.
My favourite was the PB&J cocktail- could really taste the roast peanut and chocolate in there. So good.

There is something here for everyone, even if you're not a big Gin fan.
I hadn't been in a while, and wow, has it grown and changed for the better. There is now more space for everyone. You can make a quick stop for a queeky drink the bar or sit and enjoy lunch in the dining area with a beautiful menu and extensive cocktail selection. There are also special tasting experiences and classes. But remember you need to book in advance, as they are very busy.
The staff are all very friendly and a few of the more senior staff have a lot of knowledge.
We certainly felt welcomed into the Four Pillars home.

A very well designed facility. The decor is awesome.
Love the gin, though their different styles need some more work in my opinion. Their navy strength is the best I've tried though.
Staff were friendly and light-hearted.
Definitely worth the visit.

Did gin tasting here. I love the vibe here. Very calming and serene. All the gins I’ve tasted all good and they gave us their Christmas edition to try too. Amazing 🫶🏻

We’ve been to four pillars back in the early days, during their renovation and today. Great gin, my fav is the bloody Shiraz gin, and for lunch they have an expanded menu now. Today we had their grazing board which included some gin infused bites such as the salmon and duck pate. A great combo with their gin paddle. Highly recommend you check this place out for lunch in Healesville, the distillery looks amazing.

Amazing company and great Gin, You should for sure take their tasting tour and facility tour which gives you an inside and background view of how they distill their Gin and Tonic and process it goes through for maximum purity and efficiency.
Vibe is amazing, great music, great people, great bartenders and managers. Loved it and will visit again soon with some friends. Afterall Winter is Coming. ☺️

This place is amazing, and not just because I’m partial to gin. The decor is tasteful, the service was outstanding (super friendly and helpful staff, I’d advise you listen to their serving suggestions), and the food, while simple was out in a flash and delicious. Will definitely go there again.

This venue was absolutely amazing - we came here for a gin tasting session and the assistant who was explaining each type of gin was informative and helpful! To top it off, the food we had for lunch was scrumptious and delightful - we highly recommend getting the salmon bagel! What a wonderful experience, hoping to come back!

We were super impressed by this distillery and how sustainable they were as they had used copper and recycled bricks. They even had recycled gin bottles as vases on the tables. The whole look was amazing! We decided to have the gin paddle and arancini balls - both were delicious! The staff were lovely and friendly which added to the experience. If you are a gin lover and in the Yarra Valley you would be mad to miss this stop!

Was here before the massive renovations. What a delightful space! Had a couple of snacks and cocktails, all very good. Friendly service. Walked away with some bottles ($10 off/bottle) and gin-infused caviar. Perfect weekend experience in the Yarra.

Great vibes and friendly staffs. This place is so popular that I can see a lot of walk-ins waiting for seats. My partner and I ordered G&T paddle and PB&G, both of them are surprisingly good. We also had their locally produced nuts, which is the best spiced nuts I’ve ever had!
Adam Wang — Google review
Really there is only one reason to visit and that’s for the gin! The G&T paddle it’s enough to share one paddle between 2, plus delicious small plates. The bagel is a must try and so is the taramasalata dip with Turkish bread, light foods to complement the gin. Staff are fab and know all about their gin and cocktails. We loved it all and walked out with a few bottles.

Great place to stop and have a drink.
Awesome food! It feels like you're in the Melbourne CBD after the refresh.
Very professional staff and service is fast and has pinpoint accuracy.

Really loved it here! Came for the Gin tasting and loved learning about the history and production methods of Gin, and ended up coming back to their bar later that night. The staff were really knowledgeable and friendly, prices were really reasonable, lots of great cocktails and the design of the entire place is amazing. They've clearly put a lot of work into making it look and feel really welcoming and cosy. Would highly recommend doing the Gin tasting for anyone in the area looking for something fun to do.

Had the 30 minutes gin tasting session with Paolo. He explained the different Gin well and accommodated us well. Knowledgeable about the product. My favorite is the olive gin and the Shiraz. 15 AUD for the experience.
Smaller than I expected. Didn’t have a lot going on unlike the other vineyards around which has a lot to walk.

Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the tasting plate. Thank you for letting us try the Christmas gin as well. It made our day. We’ll definitely come back and recommend to everyone.

The restaurant at The Four Pillars gin distillery provides a remarkable culinary experience, perfectly complemented by a gin tasting.
Among the standout dishes, the chicken, leek, and tarragon pie was a true delight, as were the confit duck arancini and gin-cured salmon bagel. The ham, cheese, and chili jaffle was also a pleasant surprise.
The service was both professional and friendly, adding to the welcoming and warm atmosphere of the place.
Overall, it's a gastronomic experience not to be missed for gin enthusiasts and lovers of inventive cuisine.
Dominique — Google review
This place has some great gin and food but the whole experience feels a little rushed. The waiters are rushing to get you your food and beverages and always seem to be out of breath. The only time the waiters didn't feel rushed was bringing my gin paddle where they actually slowed down and explained the hub. Was a bit shocked they gave us a ticket saying we only had 90 minutes even though the place was half empty.
It is the most popular gin distillery on the area but I find it is a little over hyped and over priced.

Excellent venue, great gin.
Make sure you make a reservation in busy periods, however it wasn’t too busy when we were there.
Great selection of gins to take home or as gifts.

A well organized place to provide you lots of knowledge about Gins. You can have Gins taste here by professional introduction here. Lots of visitors come here not for taste but for dining. Just pick up what you want and enjoy yourself before heading to next destination. Enjoy.

Our visit to Four Pillars Gin Distillery for a tasting was truly exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, setting the stage for an immersive experience. Alexa, our guide, went above and beyond, offering insightful and detailed explanations about the intricate process of crafting their remarkable gins. Her knowledge and enthusiasm added a layer of depth to the tasting, making it not just a drink, but a journey through the artistry of distillation. The distillery itself exuded a sense of craftsmanship, and the diverse range of gins showcased the mastery of flavor. It was an impressive and memorable exploration into the world of gin, leaving us thoroughly delighted. Highly recommend for both enthusiasts and those new to the craft!
Healesville Sanctuary is a renowned Australian wildlife refuge that provides both indoor and outdoor playgrounds, as well as cafes and shops. This iconic Victorian destination allows visitors to experience Australian animals such as dingoes, emus, wombats, koalas, kangaroos, platypuses and more in their natural habitat. Guests can enjoy feeding parrots and watching the Spirits of the Sky bird show while learning interesting facts about these fascinating creatures from knowledgeable zookeepers.
I have visited this sanctuary multiple times and loved it every time. It has a good variety of animals with a nice setup to show them in their habitats. If you’re there in time for shows, shows are both informative and interesting. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s great to know that this place helps animals and puts them back to the wild. Another great thing about this place is that it’s open on public holidays, even on Good Friday and Christmas day. Also kids can visit the place for free on weekends.

Amazing place to visit! I have been there twice now and each time it has been a great experience. The sanctuary has a variety of animals and all of them are looked after very well. The bird show is definitely the highlight and not to be missed! The Harvest Cafe inside the sanctuary serves great coffee and food. Overall, an excellent experience and really loved it. Highly recommended!!

Absolutely worth the drive from Melbourne! Even the drive itself is really lovely... But the Sanctuary is just great! You really feel like you're in the middle of the bush with the animals joining you. The animals are in nice large enclosures and seem to have good space, the trees tower overhead and the local river is just an extra nice feature. One of the definite highlights is the Spirits of the Sky bird show... Awesome information and skills from the keepers, with incredible natural behaviour on show from the birds... Who definitely own the decisions to participate or not. Kids and adults alike area just mesmerised. Thanks for another amazing visit Healesville Sanctuary! 😍

Highly recommend this sanctuary for Australian animals. Good layout, lots of trees and shades. Easy to navigate within the sanctuary, good signage that shows directions for each animal. This centre serves to protect endangered and vulnerable species and promote education and awareness.

The sanctuary has most of the local Australian species some of which are endangered. They are kept in an healthy environment which is aesthetically designed.
The kangaroos and the Kualas are fun to watch.
You need a day to actually fully appreciate the place.
Well kept and well designed sanctuary.

We went there with a tour, but if you live nearby you can buy a membership and visit often. We tend to buy memberships to the local museum and zoo in our area and when we have visitors it's nice to take them there.
This zoo gives you a chance to see the animals that are local to Australia, like the kangaroo, the koala etc. they have lots of play areas for younger kids.
,a few picnic areas and at different hours they have one of the caretakers come out and talk about a certain species of animal found there. If there are specific topics you are interested in, I would suggest to look at their website and know what time they have their talks and where, to plan for that.
The best part for us was at the end they have a bird show at 3pm where the trainers come out to show your a few if the species they take care of and your studio see how well the birds they have are trained. It's pretty impressive.
The downside is that it was a bit hot day and most animals are napping in the shade with their face hidden.
Perhaps it's better to buy tickets yourself instead of paying a tour company to take you. You will have more time to do as you please. The main issue you will have is how to get there.. but if you are local.. you probably won't have that issue ;)

Fantastic zoo to take your children to it has all the native animals and you can get a close encounter with some of them. Be careful to go on a hot day. It is pretty dry and can get pretty hot as you walk around. The place takes at least 3 to 4 hours to see if you want to visit every exhibit. The staff is friendly and there is a lot to see and do.
There are also baby change rooms located throughout the park so you can take your infants and babies with ease

We had a wonderful time at Healesville Sanctuary. The kids all enjoyed walking around looking at the animals.
The walking track was easy to navigate. The map and signage easy to follow.
Only one of the keeper talks occurred. Which was a shame as we walked to quite a few animals enclosure at the specified times.
The Bird Flight display was so good we went back for a second viewing later in the day.
All the nocturnal houses were wonderful and of course the animals were not affected by the weather. The platypus performed for us like he was putting in a private show.
A great family out. Would highly recommend.

This is an absolutely fantastic place to see Australian native animals! The sanctuary does not capture animals for the purpose of being in the zoo and all animals are rescue animals, once pets, or have various stories as to why they can not be released back into the wild.
You can tell all the keepers care deeply for the animals and the animals are all well looked after.
Clean, well maintained and a pleasure to walk around. Also was not crowded on the weekday that we visited.

This is very nice and educational. Don't worry about food and drinks; they have them there. Just prepare your legs for the long walk as you tour the area. The bird show is the best. I failed to see a few of the animals, though, as they were hiding. #nature #birds #animals #educational #longwalk #beautiful

Amazing little place to visit.
You don't need to pay extra for any of the events if you just want to pay entry and roam, we got to watch after they changed the food in the koala enclosure. Even though it was so hot they had fresh food so they ended up being very active.
The kangaroos normally come right up to you to say hi but in hot days they lay in the shade and sleep.
It's definitely a good place to visit whether you are with family, a partner or by yourself. Plenty to see and do.

I had a brilliant experience. Visited after about a decade. At places it felt like a zoo but overall could see the animals in their natural habitat. They are well looked after. Had conversations with the keepers and volunteers which displayed their genuine love for the animals in their care. The staff is friendly and accessible. The flight deck bird show was informative and exciting. Cafes and washrooms are well located. Not posting many photos as they are readily available on the net.

Wine and wildlife day at the zoo was great for adults and kids. The renovated vet hospital that ee got a sneak peak of, is amazing. You can see the injured animals come in and be treated by the vets.

Better than Melbourne Zoo in my opinion. Australian animals birds and parrots and a lot of endangered wildlife. Well worth the drive. Parrot show is exciting. Nice walk in native bush. Check out my photos and videos for a good indicator of what you can see.

We can easily spend a day here. Most of the animals were on display and we could see many of them up close. The bird show was entertaining. There were also 1 or 2 children’s play areas and kids loved playing with the sand. There was a toilet near the kids’ play area which was convenient. The directions were very clear, placed throughout the place and hence, helpful to get around the sanctuary. Thanks.

A tourist must for visitors to Australia. This beautifully designed, interactive animal sanctuary sets a standard in animal care and exhibits. The keeper talks and shows are great. The volunteers are kind. I’d happily spend 4 hours here.
Healthy options in the cafe too! However you can bring a picnic and find so many play and peaceful spaces.

This was my first visit to the sanctuary, so impressed. It has a genuine feel of looking after the animals, insuring a suitable habitat for the different animals, plus providing us with information/education about the animals .
Highly recommend for families interstate visitors etc.
The volunteers certainly made our visit extra special by assisting us and also imparting some good knowledge about the animals .

We had a great day. It's been a while since I have been, so good to see it hasn't lost its charm. Saw everything but the Dingos. The wombats were the highlight especially the bigger one who has a lot of character!

It was an enjoyable day out from Melbourne. However, the sanctuary did not keep us occupied for more than two hours. Although not small, there were not many animals to see. The ticket pricing is on the higher end. Not sure if we will revisit until more animals and activities are introduced. The Spirits of the Sky show was fantastic and interesting.

What a great place for getting to know the Australian fauna.
Beautifully laid out sanctuary with plenty of space for the animals. For Europeans it’s a place of wonders as we’re not used to the extraordinary and unique fauna of Australia.
I always longed to finally see a Tasmanian Devil or an Echidna. There I had them all. The work they’re doing here is beautiful and important, so supporting the sanctuary is vital.
We could even witness an operation on a wedge-tail eagle who suffered from trauma. Where in this world are such things remotely possible? Just wonderful.
Loved every minute and would go there again any time we’re back in Australia.

I wanna visit here every single day when I’m not working. ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ Spirits of the sky is definitely worth watching, with different birds presented for every single show. Staff there are all friendly and helpful. Love the vibe.
What’s more amazing is that there are wild birds just flying around in and out of the bush inside the zoo - superb fairy wrens and others that I cannot name.

Lots of great animals to see, clean and tidy sanctuary. The gift shop has some really good stuff, something for everyone. There is a bird show on 2 times a day.. it is free and included with your general ticket. You can see the birds fly around the area and do things on commands. Beautiful place, we enjoyed it more than the melb zoo. Felt like there was more to see here also. Would recommend and would definitely return.

We loved our visit to Healesville sanctuary! An easy drive from Melbourne; the sanctuary is a little outside of the township. We arrived to find loads of parking and quickly made our way to the entrance. Tickets prices are reasonable if you plan to spend the entire day visiting.
We spent a full and exciting day in this beautiful, peaceful setting observing animals in the natural environment. We were thrilled that some of the keepers spent quality time talking passionately about the animals and birds that were in their care.
Unfortunately we didn’t bring lunch with us and relied on the on-site cafe. The food is ok and a little over priced but we will definitely come back with our own picnic basket as there are many gorgeous spots to stop for lunch!
We also stayed for the Spirits of the Sky show. The show is located in flight arena with plenty of room for large sittings. The birds are incredibly well trained and are rewarded for their efforts!
A wonderful way to see Australian native flora and fauna. Great day out for all ages and it’s wheelchair friendly too!

Very nice zoo. Yes, they do animal rescue and breeding but they are a zoo. Animals were well cared for. Excellent staff, plenty of parking. A tad too much money for admission. Gift shop and refreshments are cashless. So if you have no card you are unwelcome. I tried to spend money, you know actual Austalian currency, in the gift shop but was rebuffed. Seems like a poor decision to lose 100-200 dollars because you won't accept money. 8$ for a magnet seems steep. Lovely place, will not return and do not recommend for those who still use money.
Amusement park with activities such as waterslides, go-karts, miniature golf & bumper boats.
Absolute blast!
Enough shade to take your own picnic basket or bbq stuff.
Some people had mini speakers as well, cool!
Wasn't necessary to get a bed at all especially because there is no food allowed in that area.

Went with my daughter and 2 grandsons ( 7 & 10 ) and we had a fantastic day. So many fun water and non water rides to go on. We arrived 9.45am and didn't leave until 4.45pm, tired and exhausted but we all agreed it was a great day. We splashed out and got a Beach Club VIP pass for the sun lounges and think it was worth it, very relaxed especially when it gets really crowded. Not a cheap day but considering all the attractions i consider it good value. Special mention to all Staff, they were exceptional 👏👏👏

Fun family day out at Funfields. My kids age 7 and 10 loved the slides and rides. Going I. March was great as it wasn’t super busy and rides were at most a 5 minute wait. There were enough seats around the Volcano Beach to sit and the water at the wave pool was fun for kids without being too deep. We will be back again!

We chose to go on the non-35-degree day of the weekend which was a great idea, no lines, sit anywhere you want, ride anything you want when you want. Great options for wet or dry rides for all ages. Kids had a blast, we stayed from opening to close. Only 1 small complaint, the gokarts were overstaffed with 4 workers while the kids rides were understaffed with staff having to jump between alternating rides.

The customer service at the theme park was incredibly disappointing. From long wait times to unhelpful staff, it made what should have been a fun day out incredibly frustrating. Our family went there yesterday for easter egg hunt which would have been first ever egg hunt experience for my 2.5 yr old son but due to lack of humbleness and empathy among staff, that experience went sour. They at first forgot to give us egg hunt pass at entry despite of asking them if we need one, FYI we 4 adults and 1 kid all bought full priced day pass and egg hunt ticket was included in same price. We lined up for 20 mins and when it was our turn to go for egg hunt, they said we cant allow u without egg hunt ticket which entry staff forgot to hand it to us. We mentioned if its okay if we show the entry ticket. They denied & said we need the egg hunt ticket and said to leave. My husband quickly ran to entry gate and got the ticket. We were back in literally 2 mins and showed them the ticket but they said now its turn for 4-6 yr kids and we cant let parent accompany your kid as big kids go on their own. They were not considerate at all knowing a child is awaiting to go. The hunt was meant to be till 1230 hrs for 0-3 yrs kids but they had started sending 4-6 yr kids from 1220hrs onwards. Further to that we went to icecream parlour located there to collect drinks. My son is a fussy eater and he wanted to have waffle cone by itself without icecream and we requested for same nd said we are happy to pay but they said we cant sell only cone without ice cream. What kind of customer service is this? It's disheartening when a place meant for enjoyment falls short in providing basic assistance and courtesy to its visitors.

We had an absolute ball at funfields today. All the young men and women working were really lovely, very helpful and had a sense of humour when we were a little (haha) scared of some of the rides. A really enjoyable day.
Just know if you are going on any of the land rides you need to be dry, so we did all the water activities and then changed into our dry clothes. We were there for 7 hrs.
Thanks funfields for a great day.

We want to say a HUGE thank you to Angelo Dinardo for being such a generous and kind Managing Director of this place. Today at 4.44pm after waiting for a good 20 minutes at Supenova we were turned down by the staffs. They told us that all the ride would close in 5 mins. We pleaded with them, telling them that we have waited for so long, but they didnt budge. My two daughters were so sad about it, so we and a bunch of others left. But, on the way down we accidentally met with Angelo and his dog, he saw us looking gloomed and questioned us why we went down. We told him the story, and he said “No one should be turned down, go back up and tell them Angelo said so”. So we did!
We had one last ride at Supenova and IT WAS THE BEST!
Thank you so much for bringing the smile back on my daughter’s faces.
Highly recommend this waterpark ❤️

To be honest, the food is not as tasty as its look. We had 2 course dining . They looked presentable, however the taste not really. The wine taste the same where we choose pairing of 4 type of their house sparkling wine. The service is not bad the environment is quite chill and relaxing.

Very pleasant place, staff, wine, food and clean facilities. That was March 2022.
Went to Chandon again in May 2022. The consistency of service, friendly attitude and terrific food is remarkable. The Autumn colours of the vines bring a somewhat Chery atmosphere to the scenery on a rather dull but mild day. Peps you up really as do the Autumn leaves on the trees. Had some Oysters this time before a generous Charcuterie board. You don't have to go to the Peninsula to get fresh Oysters, they were as fresh as can be. Ah, Chandon tasting board, Oysters, Chandon wines, serene outlook.
Wonderful.

Beautiful location and lovely winery. The food was delicious, and I found the set menu difficult to finish (I can't eat a lot in a short time). Someone with a bigger appetite would be happy with the serves as they were generous but not too large.
Service was good, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. If you are visiting on a warm day, bring some insect repellent as the flies are a bit too friendly if you are outside.

We loved the whole experience. Food was awesome and well balanced 3 course menu + dessert. It was my partner's birthday I booked in and they surprised him with a candle on dessert and the dessert was free. The waitress was very helpful, patient and caring. She was always checking up on us to ensure we have the best experience. It's just the drinks we didn't enjoy much because of all sparkling drinks because none of us are fan of sparkling drinks.

We arrived early for our tasting (that we booked months before, but looked like they had room for walk-ins), and are we glad we did. The bar area was beautiful and the Spritz was absolutely delicious! The tasting itself was very well done and they were able to answer all of our questions. We ended up buying a bottle as well as a topper that survived the flight back to the US. I’d definitely recommend Domaine Chandon for anyone in the Yarra Valley!

Definitely one of the prettiest wineries in the valley still. They've rezoned the place post COVID so tasting is now in a separate room for $80 per person at set times, or you could just buy their tasting flights at any time, <$30 for 3 glasses a flight and purchase food together. We ended up just doing that instead as that seemed more worthwhile plus it was an hour and half wait for the next tasting. Amazing views of their well maintained and well landscaped vineyards with classy furniture to match. Friendly yet professional staff and good service. Can see myself revisiting with friends for a relaxed lunch of their charcuterie or cheese board especially! Toilets available. Free entry and parking.

Overall, food was pretty decent with faultless and prompt service.
Each paired wine was also given a brief background by the waitress with expectations on smell and taste.
Highly recommend the onion tarte tatin (not advisable if blue cheese is not your thing), king dory (had the pork found that it was not as tender as I'd like) and the pear with rice pudding.

Dined in the lounge bar with a close personal friend. Wonderful, fresh, Coffin Bay oysters and a worldly array of cheeses. Very friendly service from all the staff who took time out of their busy days to greet myself and my friend. Planning a return trip ASAP! Most likely tomorrow.

Warm welcome by the wait staff at the entrance. Explain in details to us so that we know what to drink n eat. Indoor n outdoor seating. Nicely renovated n decorated. Great atmosphere

We visited on a Tuesday afternoon and the sunshine and sparkles were plentiful! The Chandon grounds are absolutely beautiful, the landscape boasts vines, nearby hills, and a European courtyard vibe in the outdoor seating. We loved sitting under the umbrellas and enjoying two of the tasting flights.
Our absolute favourite was the Ruby Cuvée- we could have consumed a whole bottle. Instead we ordered a glass after our tasting and enjoyed the indoor area, which has gorgeous decor and a little merchandise store. The staff were lovely and the space feels like a perfect location for a Bridal Brunch or Hens Weekend stopover!
My one request is for Chandon to release their Ruby Cuvée in local retailers as we are not from the area and would love to purchase this more regularly!

Lovely, relaxed environment to share some tapas food boards and sample local champagne varietals. There is a store attached to purchase bottles of your favourites and related items. Definitely recommend as a location to visit when exploring the Yarra Valley region

My wife and I love Chandon and we have been here multiple times over other wineries in the region. The staff are friendly and the service is exceptional. The food and wine options are plentiful and we enjoyed a nice romantic lunch together to escape our busy lives.
There's also no better time to experience it when the leaves are changing. Highly recommend Chandon 🥂

Recently after coming to Melbourne We visited Chandon to taste their beautiful wines. Although we had tried Chandon sparkling wine earlier also but tasting the same wine in their winery is itself a unique experience. It was a fabulous day and the food & wine together is sensational.Staff serving there was very friendly and knowledgeable and the Lounge Bar has a lovely views. Food was exceptionally good with a bowl of perfectly cooked chips with a homemade ketchup. A lovely bottle of Chandon Garden spritz was the perfect accompaniment. Looking forward to my next visit.

We try and visit Chandon at least once a year. It is always a fabulous day and the food and wine is sensational. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the Lounge Bar has lovely views. We opted for the Charcuterie platter which contains the best chicken liver parfait I’ve ever had. Gorgeous oysters with a yuzu dressing were tart and citrusy. Topped off with a bowl of perfectly cooked chips with a homemade ketchup. A lovely bottle of Chandon Vintage Brut Rose was the perfect accompaniment. Looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended.

We spent a perfect day enjoying lunch, tastings and the view. The staff are amazing and the ambience is superb. Our favourite winery in the Yarra Valley!
Yering Station Winery is a prestigious winery located in the Yarra Valley, in Victoria, Australia. Established in 1838, it is one of the oldest and most respected wineries in the region. The wines produced by Yering Station are known for their extraordinary variety and quality. Additionally, the winery features an upscale restaurant with stunning views of the valley.
The dishes were delicious, they only have a selection of 2 courses $70 or 3 courses $85 and we wanted 3 mains, 2 entrees. The manager was happy to charge us $48 for the extra main so that worked out great for us. They offered free wine tastings and a wide range of selections. Stunning view and great service. Quite pricey but worth the dining experience

Great food and Service. The waitress went to bring colouring pencils for my 4 year old daughter which was much appreciated.
The quail wasn't gamey but the sauce was. Cheese platter could feed 4 I reckon.
The steak eye was amazing! Very well cooked with so much flavour! I was also impressed with the Dory. It had so much texture and bite compared to what I find in my country. The rabbit felt like tuna to me though but still good.

Excellent service and food! The waitress are very friendly and helpful. I booked the table online, they reserved a table with awesome window view for us! All the starters and mains are outstanding (looks pretty & taste good), the potions are bigger than i expected. It’s make sense to have 15% surcharge during the public holiday. I would recommend this place to my friends.

We booked for lunch for celebrating birthday.
But we went to wine tasting before start lunch.
They said if you booked for lunch at the restaurant, tasting fee will be no charged. That’s very nice to know!!
All wine was nice.
Staff at the tasting were very attentive.
Staff in the restaurant , they welcomed us with big smile and services we received was excellent and friendly.
Food was beautifully presented and taste was very sensitive.
The portion was just right size for me. Just once thing if I can add, the food was bit under seasoning for my preference.
But overall We had lovely dinning experiences .
The staff who served us was so lovely, I think her name was Julietta. Thank you so much for your lovely smile :) Your smile made our day!!

A good dining experience with great wine selection
The dining experience could have been better. My steak temperature was a bit overcook but the food itself tasted amazing.
the presentation is on point but sadly the entire experience could have been more faster. Waited too long for each food.
The wine selection is great! Must try

Came here during the Easter weekend and the place was packed as expected. Did the wine tasting and there was a 30 mins wait and I was understanding, so we spent the time browsing the premises and admiring some of the artwork, architecture and the garden. Beautifully curated and on another day could spend a whole afternoon. Definitely one of the best wineries in the area.

Exceptional wine tasting at Yering Station Cellar Door! 🍷 Kudos to Ryan, the manager, for his expertise and hospitality. As a qualified winemaker from NZ, I vouch for the incredible taste of their wines. The 2021 Reserve Shiraz Viognier stole the show— very smooth tannins, ready for drinking now and ripe red fruits on the nose. Highly recommended!

I recently visited Yering Station Winery while on a Hen’s winery tour. The property was beautiful and had a great variety of wines. While we were there, we did a wine tasting session.
The staff member (sorry I don’t remember her name) was very knowledgeable on both the wines we were tasting, as well as the history of the winery which was great to listen to and learn about.
Overall I enjoyed the whole experience. I would come back here to try the food.

Always love visiting this winery as they have such beautiful grounds. Their tastings are all very good value, we did the $15 tasting where we were able to try 9 different wines. Also if you buy any wine you get your tasting fees waived. Only thing is we came close to closing so our tasting was a bit rushed but still very enjoyable!

A lovely treat for the weekend!
We went to Yering Station for a Christmas lunch and it was absolutely delicious! We had the option for a 2 or 3 course meal but I would recommend the 3 as the food is too yum to miss. I had the zucchini flower entreé, and for main the Lamb rack which came with a mushroom pie and for dessert a peach panacotta!
Definitely a pricier experience but great for a special occasion :)

Went there today for a 70th birthday. The food looks great in the photos, but had absolutely no flavour. The fish in the first photo was extremely dry and no flavour, the crab was exactly the same, I wouldn’t even call it crab for the minuscule amount that was inside. For $80 for two courses it was an absolute rip off. The only meal anyone in my family had anything positive words to say was the Kangaroo. Even the dessert had no flavour. We spent over $1000 as a family and feel extremely ripped off.
No table water, and no one came back to offer if we required more we had to flag staff down. Attention to detail lacking, no salt and pepper on the table either. Now I NEVER season my food but in this instance it definitely required seasoning. Don’t waste your money.

We came for a wine tasting after a recommendation from friends. Yering Station boasts the reputation as one of the oldest wineries in the region, and their skills are apparent in their wine. There is a good range of options for tastings and the Estate option provides you with the best selection.
After trying the Estate selection, I fell in love with the Shiraz Viognier and left with a bottle to share with my family 🍷The garden entrance to the tasting room is gorgeous and worth a visit, especially on a sunny day.

The Blue Lotus Water Garden is a sprawling 14-acre destination filled with beautifully manicured water gardens. Visitors can stroll along easy walking paths and take in the serene beauty of lotus flowers, banana trees, and Giant Amazon Waterlilies. The garden also features bridges and artworks that add to the overall ambiance. It's an ideal spot for families, with plenty of shaded picnic areas and a cafe that serves homemade juices, ice tea, and even lotus chips.
This place is amazing! Its a large well-maintained garden with gorgeous bridges and views. Great for photography or just a leisurely stroll.

Great picnic destination with lots of beautiful flower gardens, ponds and kids activities. Lotus chips, vanilla slice, freshly squuezed juices and mini pan cakes are delicious. There are lots of activities for kids like face painting, finding things listed on a sheet and getting treat for it. We met a gorgeous fairy who spent with kids almost one hour in face painting and story telling activities. Very friendly staff and well maintained gardens. I highly recommend this as a best picnic spot for all ages during non busy weekends.

Gorgeous garden.
A little pricey to visit but worth the beautiful view. Lotus leaves and flowers literally overflow into the path. The different theme that separates the lotus varieties was quirky and the garden seems to stretch on forever.
The owner welcomes visitors to enjoy their garden as there are plenty of shaded places along the path to rest, picnic, or BBQ. If you don't want to DIY, there is a cafe to take a break and enjoy the scenery and lovely lotus scents in the air.

There are probably a million reviews of this gorgeous garden. Not sure I'll highlight anything that others haven't before me, so I suppose I'll add a personal touch. I'd seen a few social media posts over the years and kept telling myself I'd go "one of these years". When I finally went in 2023 I wondered why it took me so long to get there. It's a wonderful place. So many corners to explore, beautifully laid out and so photogenic. They have a reasonable amount of parking, a cafe, a gift shop - but it is the lotus flowers, lakes and landscapes that are the highlight. If you haven't been, I'd highly recommend it. (Though they only open at certain times of the year.)

Our time was truly amazing at the gnome and fairy gardens, surrounded by vibrant flower colors that left us in awe.
The Queen fairy, adorned in enchanting attire, shared her adventures with the children during a delightful tour. Three-time slots are available for this enchanting experience.
Discover a cafeteria with an extensive and delicious menu, featuring my personal favorite, lotus chips. Don't miss out on this delightful treat when you explore the gardens.

Such a great place! Lotus are beautiful, the gardens are well kept, it's not huge but you can spend a few hours taking it all in. The cafe food is okay, bit overpriced but considering you get to sit on the lake and overlook the lotus it's worth sitting there. There's also plenty of gazebos to sit and enjoy, as well as picnic tables and BBQS. Public toilets throughout, water fountains, plenty of parking (although we went on a weekday). Small gift shop including plants for sale.

Nice gardens- Beautiful, but a F@#$ing rip off, tourists beware, best take out a second mortgage before you visit.
Pity as it could be a great place to visit except for the prices.
Don't expect fancy food, the Cafe is OK but basic, reasonably fresh✔️
As it can get busy, best to park early.
Good for young children.
Obviously making plenty of money if they can afford prime time adds on Chanel 9.

Second time here. Last time I went was a couple of years ago. They are open on new years day which is great! I was glad to see a face painting station for the children. Great place for the whole family. There are play spaces for the kids and many picnic tables for lunch. With the entry pass, you can go in and out to get your lunch from the car if needed. Lotus chips and ice cream were sold there and were delicious. People were lovely and helpful. Only thing I have to say is that if you have trypophobia (like me) you will not enjoy looking at the lotus flowers from a certain angle. But otherwise, it is a very peaceful place! Great tourist attraction and place to take overseas visitors too! Lots of places for photos! I also love that colourful umbrellas are provided on entry to use if you'd like too. It is very sunny in the summer so I recommend bringing a hat and sunnies.

Came up with dad and the fam. It was a really nice place to take in all the different species of lotus flowers and the views of the lake. The atmosphere was really nice too with many kids and families walking around and enjoying themselves, tho I must say, if you go during a day forecast to or has rained, be careful cuz the paths can get quite muddy and slippery, otherwise, a really peaceful experience.

Lovely set-up. The tiny trains are so cute!
It's only $4 per ride per person (children under 2 are free) and goes for about 2kms. All the staff is very friendly and smiley, they always wave when a train comes past which all the attending kids seemed to love. Although there is mostly children with their parents riding the train, it is certainly for all ages. Us in our mid 20s enjoyed the ride just as much!
There's a toilet block, a play ground and some kind of sports fields (that people used as a dogpark) right next to the railways. There's also a Coffee Van called The Travelling Cafe and and a food van for all your snack needs available on site.

One of Melbourne's hidden gems. A great day with the family and a unique experience without having to travel far.
List of attractions:
- Mini Railway for all ages, tickets can be purchased on location, $4 per person, train ride is around 10 minutes.
- Large playground with undercover picnic tables
- Barbecue areas
- Large oval for picnics or sports with cricket area
- Pony Rides for children, $6 per person for a short ride
Food available:
- Sausage sizzle, $2.50 with onions, cans of drinks
- Ice cream van with hot chips, chips are a bit pricey imo at $5 for a small cup
- Coffee van with chilled coffee
Great fun overall with plenty to do within the area as well.

We've been coming here since we were children and it was so fabulous to bring our toddler here for the first time. She loved it! It is such good value, the tickets are so cheap and you get a decent 15-20 minutes on the train. The queues can be quite long, but thankfully they have a playground right next to the station and food trucks. So it is easy to pass the time with the kids (while Dad waits in the line haha). Would highly recommend.

Visited on a beautiful sunny day in May. Hubby was interested in volunteering so wanted to check it out. Only open on Sundays, it appears to be a hugely popular attraction with a continuous queue. Hubby was very impressed with the set-up. Larger than expected with two stations and multiple engines running at the same time. Very impressive

One of a kind experience to be on that
Train with family. Because the place is managed by volunteers tickets price is shockingly cheap (only $4) . Ride lasts for about 25 minutes and that gives you ample time to take videos and photos while on the train. Definitely an experience to remeber for all age groups and amazing short drive time from Melbourne CBD. It takes less than 35 minutes to be there. PLace is open on Wednesdays and Sundays. Railway track is surrounded by a massive park with multiple rides( free of charge) and Grills, ample huts and seating. One of the best picknicks we had soon after the train ride on Easter Sunday. If you want to experience Yarra Riverto take a dip and some trekking, Laughing waters Swim hole is just 7 minutes away from Diamond Valley train station. Definitely a must visit again with kids before school break is over.

We absolutely love Diamond Valley Railway. So much so that we have been twice and will be back again. It's a fantastic day out especially if you have little kids and it's great if you're on a budget as tickets are only $4 each and under 2 is free so for me and my 3 kids it only costs $12 for a train ride. Rides go for approx 10 mins each and go through tunnels and over little bridges it's so much fun. Then after you're done there's a playground right next door within walking distance. Highly recommend.

If you have young kids, you should definitely consider coming to this attraction. At AUD 4 per ticket, the kids (and the adults too!) will definitely enjoy and have fun taking the miniature trains. The queue might look quite long, but they move very fast. If you are a group, the group can send one person to get the tickets while the rest joins the queue.
The place is operated by volunteers, and that's very commendable, consider the amount of work required of this place.

Amazing miniature railway that is nothing miniature about it! It’s got a big station with a large platform for the many train lines to take all the excited passengers on the extensive collection of miniature trains that is lovingly and wonderfully cared for by a large number of volunteers. They even have a couple of really good tunnels. Highly recommended for anyone who are train enthusiasts or just love trains… the surrounds that the train goes around are so tranquil and relaxing too!

The day we visited here the crowds were huge, especially since it was school holidays still. We didn't get to ride on one of the many trains they had, but we took plenty of photos to help others see how cool they look. It wasn't expensive to take a ride $4 per ride per person except if you're a wee train rider, under 2 are free, and the money goes towards keeping such an amazing attraction operating.

We went with our new puppy and as they could not allow him to be on the train they offered to put him in an office till our ride is back 😮. They also make us skip the queue for that as we have 2 kids as well as the puppy.
$4 for the ride last for 13 min this is not bad at all
The cons.
Car park is a challenge
Trains diesel smell bet high specially for kids (been to the same park is Geneva Switzerland and smell was not that bad)
Looking forward to have it more of open park where trains can stop in each station and you can just ride another train to another route ( from the way it is setup I believe this is to come )
Last thing , can we please have Saturday as well at least :)

Green paradise. Not many people.
Quiet tracks, waterfalls, full of nature’s abundance -Lya birds, Echidnas, Wallaby’s, Yabbies, Christmas Beetles, many species of butterflies and dragonflies - all spotted over two hikes. Nice place for a walk. It’s pretty huge so probably need to go a few times to walk around. Love the tall trees at the car park. Nice place for kids and elderly to see some nature. Lucky to see a lyre bird in action. Would be good to see spring flowers or autumn colours when the time is right.

Love this place and visit at least 4 times a year to fully appreciate all the different plantings. Great picnic spots, good work out as it's quite hilly with mainly sealed footpaths. On this particular visit we saw quite a few lyrebirds doing their mating dances and showing off their tale feathers and all their vocal capabilities. It was enchanting. In the past we've also seen wombats wandering about. It's beautiful and the air is always fresh. Worth a visit any time of t he year

The colour of the changing leaves at this time of year is so pretty. A nice walk around with a slight incline heading back up to the exit. There are lots of side tracks to take you amongst the trees for a quieter walk.
Gardens are beautifully kept with plenty of space to sit for a picnic.
It's best to go when the gates open, as parking fills up quickly and the garden becomes very crowded.

What a great place to go for a walk! You can easily do 4 -5Km on the various paths. Even in Winter (dress warmly: this area is a few degrees colder than Melbourne) it has a lot of charm and there is enough colour. The ideal time to go is in September, when the cherry trees are blossoming, but it's quite difficult to time a visit that perfectly, as the blossoms are over in a few days. Check out their web site for notes on when the blossoms are... blossoming! Check out the new Chelsea garden exhibit, and keep a look out for Wombats, Kookaburras and the elusive Lyre Birds. Also worth visiting the aptly named "Serenity point" although to be honest, there are better views into the distant hills from higher up close to the entrance.
I'd advise grabbing a coffee before you arrive as their cafe is often closed.
Entry is free and there is a little curio shop at the entrance.

It is beautiful and good walk. Weather is beautiful, bring a waterproof jacket with you. It might rain at anytime. You can enjoy the time there.

We spent an awesome few hours wandering the paths of the gardens and marvelling at the magnificent displays of stunning blooms. In future we'll endeavour to go in time to see the avenue of cherry trees in full bloom, I bet it is spectacular. This is a free garden to explore and appreciate, lots of places where you can picnic and enjoy the scenery. Please if you go, don't be like the stupid moron that climbed up a large rock and encouraged his kids to do the same. There are signs saying keep off the garden beds and rocks. Have some respect when visiting such places. Other than that enjoy the beautiful scenery and gardens. Take your own refreshments and food, the Cafe was extremely over priced. Also be aware there are no rubbish bins, take your rubbish home with you.

Beautiful garden though i feel our visit was inbetween seasons. So there were not much blooms and loads if wilting leaves.
But beautiful nonetheless and definitely a good walk through the park. Come early and properly spend time like u shld here.

Beautiful gardens. Autumn colours were nice. It probably needs another 2 weeks or so to be in full Autumn glory but still very nice.
Lots of families and groups. I was there on Saturday 27 April and so was everyone and their mother. Parking is very precious.
Gardens are large so wear good walking shoes if you plan on exploring most of it. There is an on-site cafe

Came here for a walk on the weekend and the gardens are simply gorgeous and is such a nice place to relax. Definitely would come back for a relaxing stroll here any day of the week. It was really busy, but I suspect that was due to the long weekend and school holidays but there was still plenty of space to walk.

There are no words to express the magical beauty of this garden. This is one of the best gardens I have ever seen. I keep coming here almost on a weekly basis, no matter the weather or the season. Rhododendron Gardens has played a big part in my wellness journey, and I promote it to my clients as part of their wellness strategy.

Amazing gardens. Really picturesque, with lots of winding paths leading to other little gardens off the main path. There are also several water areas such as lakes and a waterfall. Would also be great for a picnic. Some of it is also up hill, so be prepared to do a lot of steps. I would travel especially to come here.

Beautiful gardens, especially the Chelsea gardens, will definitely be coming back. Unfortunately, the person at the front desk was less than friendly or helpful. If you have a query, I'd suggest googling it. It will be a more pleasant experience.

Fall is perhaps not the most significant time of the year in terms of scenery, but still it is a wide open area with ponds and some red foliage, not a bad walk around at all. The Chelsea gardens is open, it’s a new addition, with a small pond and it is still being constructed. Very nice park.

During this summer season there are still a few rhodadendrums in blossom. The change of name to Botanical Gardens is reflective of the range of trees and plants. It is a fairly steep walk down to the pond then the lake, but a guided tour in a mini bus is available. it would be especially beautiful in autumn and spring. We enjoyed our picnic by the lake in the rotunda the an ice cream from the cafe back up the top level.
Jean Pettitt-Brown — Google review
Great place for a picnic or just a stroll.
Unfortunately just like the cafe, the rubbish is not well worked out. On your walk you see a cup, a bag or some ice cream wrappers. Some items left on the handrails. There are literally bins. I get it. Everyone should take the rubbish with them. But the don’t and nowhere to dispose. This doesn’t take away from the fact that the park is great, gorgeous and entertaining.

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Dandenong Botanical Gardens, and despite the late autumn weather with its cloudy skies and chill in the air, the beauty of the gardens still shone through. Even at this time of year, when many plants and trees were losing their leaves, there were still pockets of vibrant colors and breathtaking scenes.
Although I couldn't witness the full splendor of autumn or the blooming of spring, I couldn't help but imagine how magnificent the gardens must be during those seasons. The glimpses I caught during my visit were enough to ignite my anticipation for a return trip in the future.
One of the highlights of my visit was the serenity of the gardens. It was a quiet day with few visitors, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the peaceful ambiance and appreciate the natural surroundings. During my explorations, I was fortunate enough to encounter a Lyrebird, a fascinating native Australian bird known for its impressive mimicry skills. I watched in awe as it skillfully dug the dirt, searching for a meal. Surprisingly, I managed to get closer than I expected and capture stunning photos and videos of this captivating moment using my phone.
In addition to these wonderful experiences, I must also commend the maintenance and organization of the Dandenong Botanical Gardens. The pathways were well-maintained, making it easy to navigate through the different sections of the gardens. The signage and information provided were helpful in understanding the various plant species and their significance.
Overall, my visit to the Dandenong Botanical Gardens in late autumn was a delightful experience, despite the cloudy and cold weather. The gardens still showcased their natural beauty, and the quietness of the day allowed for memorable encounters with wildlife. I'm eagerly looking forward to returning during different seasons to witness the gardens in their full glory. It's a place that truly captivates the senses and offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Gorgeous! The botaniv garfens were so much fun with loads of trails to follow along with stunning little brooks and steps, hedges, footpaths and bridges, secret little nature tunnels like walking through tree tunnels. Toilets were clean and easily accessible, Cafe on site. Little garden centre and gift shop. Highly recommend a visit!

This was such a wonderful surprise and mindblowingly beautiful. Despite the intermittent showers, we thoroughly enjoyed meandering through the extensive and well-maintained gardens!
The Dandenong Ranges Botanical Gardens are well worth seeing aside a few hours to wander around... It won't disappoint!!!

We were fortunate to be there in springtime so the colour in the flowering trees and shrubs was spectacular.
The Australian section was great but unfortunately very little signage and many of their eucalypts are dead. Being free meant this was very popular on a Sunday.

It's a local favourite and for me especially, a comfortable 20 minutes from where I live. It's a treat to be able to go up to the national park and indulge yourself with nature. Autumn leaves are bliss to see, its colour beauty.... truly stunning.

Amazing and short hike through the gardens. Get there early as they start closing 4:30pm. Will take you roughly 2-3 hours enjoying the views!

Absolutely beautiful. We went on a long weekend, and it was a nightmare trying to find a park, but definitely well worth the effort. The autumn colours are stunning, and it’s a lovely cool walk through the gardens. We definitely underestimated the size of the gardens, and we’ll have to come back a second time to fit everything in. Highly recommend.

How surreal and calming 😌. The flora and fauna are just beautiful. The Gardens are a lot bigger than I realised. You could easily spend all day here. A nice picnic lunch, a beautiful day and a beautiful setting 😍 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
On a not so nice note TO VISITORS: DON'T BE DISGUSTING TAKE YOU RUBBISH AND YOUR DIRTY NAPPIES WITH YOU. THERE ARE NO BINS SO DON'T STASH YOUR RUBBISH IN THE GARDENS.. It is not the Rangers job or other visitors to pick it up. 😡

Don't sleep on this—they developed the area and acquired a golf course to add the Chelsea Australian Garden, as well as an upcoming Cloud Forest featuring tropicals from Queensland.
The Kurume Bowl and the Cherry Grove must be beautiful in spring, but we visited on a crisp clear autumn day and it was just as lovely.
Great place for picnics and families, weather permitting. Get in early—on a good day, parking can be tricky.

Absolutely stunning.
I would say this park would be just as beautiful during spring Autumn and Spring.
I’m surprised they don’t charge to enter, I would be more than happy to pay! They do have a donation box (which I put money into) and I think everyone should, just for the amount of work that goes into making the gardens as stunning as they are.
Highly recommend going and going all through the seasons.

Great place to visit with kids and family. It has various picnic areas to spend your day. Few spots were under maintenance so couldn’t access. Not a huge but surely not disappoint if you are a nature lover. You can also make a visit to Montrose reserve park nearby if kids get bored after walking. The entry is free and timing is from 10am to 5pm (last entry at 4:30pm). There are two parking areas which are quite busy but you will find a spot.

Beautiful Gardens to explore!
Great for a day out with the Family.
Take a picnic if you can, there are multiple tables and chairs around the park to eat lunch at or a take a picnic rug and relax on the grass areas.
Lots of walking so take a pram if you have small kids and good walking shoes.
Never had a bad meal. Service and wait times are good. Ordered a steak on Saturday and no dramas. Sides was nice, filling and fresh.
Typical pub menu with a few seafood specials that rotate.

I recently visited Warragul Country Club and had a fantastic dining experience. The first thing that impressed me was their extensive menu, which catered to everyone, including seniors and kids. It's always nice to see a restaurant consider different age groups and offer diverse options.
Speaking of the seniors' menu, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the portions were just as generous as the regular meals. This thoughtful approach is commendable, as it ensures seniors can enjoy a satisfying dining experience without compromising on portion size.
The selection of food items was impressive, featuring classic favorites like Chicken Parmas, Scotch Fillet, and the delightful Roast of the Day. I opted for the Roast of the Day and was pleased to see that the portion size was more than adequate; it filled both my plate and my stomach, leaving me completely satisfied.
One aspect that enhanced the overall experience was the welcoming atmosphere of the club. My group was seated on the green side of the restaurant, which provided a tranquil and quiet setting. It was the perfect spot for catching up with family and friends while enjoying our delicious meals.
All in all, my visit to Warragul Country Club was very enjoyable. The combination of a diverse menu, generous portion sizes, and a pleasant ambiance made it a memorable dining experience. If you're looking for a great place to dine with your loved ones, I highly recommend giving Warragul Country Club a try.

Usual stuff.
Friendly staff, nice surroundings Etc.
Sitting in the 19th hole overlooking the 18th.
Really nice meals and timely service.
The staff became AWOL when it came to clearing the tables though.
We would have liked a coffee after our meals but, had to nearly wrestle a staff member to the ground to get some attention.
So, overall rating good and not so good.

I ordered the burger and chips and had a side house salad.
The Burger was fantastic. I'm not sure I'd call it a smashed burger but it was absolutely fantastic. It was juicy, the sauce was great and overall I think it was the best main at one table.
The chips are as boring as you'd expect. I'm not sure why places don't give them some extra love. Why not use some flavoured seasoning salts. Not just the milk bar chicken salt... I can't exactly fault then for the lack of creativity here as people expect just chips, but I would love some garlic parm, or some spice dusted on them. And for the price they were going to be sent out plane I'd expect some gravy or a dipping sauce of sorts.
The house side salad was great. Spinach, beetroot feta and walnuts?! Couldn't ask for a better salad.
Everyone at my table enjoyed their lunch. My children had some nice fish and chips and a pizza and the adults all enjoyed a range of items.
A very nice lunch overall.

First went there 2 years ago could not fault the place. Went there about 1 weeks ago I asked for chicken schnitzel with vegetables my wife asked for no batter on the fish and vegetables after 15 minutes meals came out she had better on the fish we sent it back as thay made a mistake it came back 15 minutes later with no batter and with salad but the time I got to eat my meal it was cold would not go back here again it's better value at the pub meals were very small and for $27 for the fish and $24 for the schnitzel but the garlic bread was and cheese was good and it would have been nice to have more chips except for one little Cup. To their credit they gave a $20 credit for next time sad thing is I don't think there will be a next time.

My daughter booked this for us to start our Melbourne weekend visit. This was her choice and I was so so about going. Boy! How wrong was I!
From rocking up early the guys could not have been more helpful. As there was room they let us on straight away. Thoroughly safety briefed and all equipment ch eked we demonstrated our abilities and were then allowed to fly free!
The course options cover everything for toddlers through to those who like a bit more height and exhilaration. There is a 15m controlled drop from the tree to the ground. The safety system in place and the checks are of the highest standard and left us enjoying the time without fear.
We spent over 2 hours climbing through the obstacles and zip lining through the trees. The weather was fabulous which made it all the more special.
The staff were friendly and extremely helpful and this is a place I would highly recommend. Such a wonderful experience.

Book ahead and go as early as u can as it gets crowded later in the day. Great fun for all ages as there r courses suited for everyone. Green (beginner), Blue, Red and Black (13yrs +). There are also short and long versions of the same colour coded course. There is a 15min training n briefing session at the start. Once u get the hang of the safety clips it's easier and faster along the obstacle course. It get harder with the diff colours and more upper body strength is required to get across. Overall great fun for the family!

This place is absolutely fantastic ! Suits all ages. Very well structured and the courses are amazing with easy to hard level. Kids friendly. You are given a key for a locker to place your personal items. You are given a debrief about how the whole harness works and you get to practice supervised prior to going solo on the treetops. There are multiple levels that suits all strength. You are required to start at the lowest level to get your confidence up and get the hang of moving yourself along the course. I walked in not understanding how the hardness worked but came out a pro. I have gained great knowledge. Superb environment to distress from the norm. Loved this place in particular because you are solo, therefore you don’t have anyone supervising you, there’s no pressure, no one on your back and you can take your time. Staff are always available. I had such a fantastic time and will be going back. Toilets are available on site and also parking. The only downfall with the parking is that there is a little hill and some cars have had trouble going up due to the car level. So be mindful. Still a five star experience for myself and my peers.

Our 3rd visit and a blast every time, with different groups and ages each time. It is well run, friendly team and they take safety seriously! It is also a reasonably priced activity for such a unique experience. Spot the wildlife perched up in the trees and listen out for Puffing Billy in the distance. You wouldn't be able to get that anywhere else.
Having a cafe or fully stocked kiosk on site would make it even better but packing your own food and snacks is not a big issue. So many lovely spots to sit and rest between climbs.

The most fun I’ve had doing an outdoor activity! Exhilarating but safe, amongst the trees - a great activity if you’re not too afraid of heights, and love a good real life obstacle course.. and stepping a little out of your comfort zone. The staff were super friendly, you get a great chance to practice.. before you get to choose your own adventure based on what you’re comfortable with, and what age / level you’re at. I would strongly recommend to all - so much fun!
The Puffing Billy Railway is a preserved steam railway that travels through the scenic Dandenong Ranges. The train features first-class dining carriages, and offers tourists a unique experience of travel through the rainforest.
One of the landmarks of Melbourne and a must visit if you have a few extra days in hand. It's an all time favourite of kids and every single one of them enjoys it thoroughly. From fresh air to open window carriages, extremely friendly staff to the scenic route - everything makes it a truly memorable experience! Have been here twice now and have enjoyed it every single time.
Tickets usually sell out over weekend so book ahead of time online and take the return ticket from Belgrave to Lakeside and spend at least 3-4 hrs at Lakeside exploring the tracks, food, boating (if open) , food and definitely the model train house - one of the most unique experiences! Highly recommend doing that!
You wouldn't regret the experience!

Enjoyable experience. This is a must go if you are at Victoria. The view is nice from the train but it is the experience of being in a steam train that defeats all scenery you can see. The smell of steam and the sound of the whistle. Makes you think that you’ve travelled back in time but you still have your cameras to capture moments.
My first time on a steam train and I’ve enjoyed myself. It’s even more amazing that they’ve got passionate volunteers as well.

Great experience! From booking to going onboard. The part which needs to highlight is the legs hanging out of train and having a swing when the train is moving . All children enjoyed including my dad who is 80 plus. Lastly is the scenery including a part crossing the old wooden bridge . Lastly , at lakeside a visit to the museum.

Besides a mix up with a ticket we bought separate (apparently you can chose that you're going with others and then be put on the same carriage, which we didn't do) but with some help from the friendly conductors on the train we were able to work around this. The day was great, kids and us adults all had an amazing day. Do rug up, we went last weekend so it was very fresh. We went to lakeside where there is a restaurant with average food.. Next time we will plan better and take a picnic to eat at the lake. I do think a little more time between the trains would be nice but we had enough time to eat and go for a short stroll before boarding to return back to Belgrave.

The staffs were amazing! Their passionate smile and waving really warm my heart in this rainy, cold winter day. The magical ambience of the misty forest also makes the journey wonderful. I would say this is one of the must-visit place when coming to Melbourne.

Amazing views, passionate volunteers, everyone was very friendly. They even offer for people to have weddings at the visitor centre! You can take your kids or dogs, you can sit on the window ledge and dangle your legs out of the train - it's a lovely experience.

We had lovely experience today on the Puffing Billy steam railway train. Thank you to Arthur, who just by luck after we entered Metro Hobbies, 257 Burke St, Melbourne. A lovely young guy, we were talking, too, helped us out with ordering tickets online in advance, so we were not going to be disappointed at the opening gates Puffing Billy. Not getting a ticket. He showed us exactly how to order our tickets. He told us he volunteers for Puffing Billy. He also told us his mum worked at Puffing Billy. And coincidence she served us out of the 3 lines that were open we got her counter. When i first got to the counter i said you must have worked here many years, as she had a lot of Puffing Billy Bages on that's when she told us she had been working for them a long time. She told us her screen showed her sons name was down as serving us get the tickers at Metro Hobbies, and she told us, that, that was her son. Ohh wow. Yes, he was really lovely. You have a lovely son. She was happy 😊 she thanked us for coming and to have a wonderful day. Thank you Marge it was lovely to meet your son, Arthur, and you. Keep up the great work. Puffing Billy, they are both acredit to you. Spoke that they loved your place. Please reward them both for great customer service. We will always remember this day and the two of them for making our day, one to remember 🚂 your staff were very nice to talk to. We were very early, which was good. We got to take pics of an earlier train leaving the station. We also met some new friends too a couple with 2 children on the way there, and Eddie and Tiffany on the way back 🙂

Had an amazing experience at Puffing Billy train today. Amazing scenic train ride and very friendly staff members. Definitely worth buying tickets in advance as this is a tourist hot spot and can get busy very quickly. Also recommend to go on the earliest train possible so your cart isn't over crowded. Also recommend you to sit on the left side /terminal facing side of the carriage in order to enjoy the views. We were lucky to get a good spot as some other passengers got the boring views by sitting on the left side of the carriage. Overall excellent experience.

Amazing outing for all the ages with a steaming experience through the beautiful ranges & the nature. Would certainly recommend the train ride from Belgrave to Lakeside where you are allowed to sit on the window sill and enjoy the picturesque journey. At Lakeside, you can take a nice stroll among the trees, shelters are available for resting and paddle boats for hire by the lake though subject to weather conditions. Lots of moments to capture by the colourful trees and on the wooden bridge by the Lakeside.

Very cool vintage railway that was restored by a school to teach students about tourism.
Great open air ride. Stops along the way, one has a very large restaurant with great food. This stop also has a park with a pond with ducks and a couple swans.
We highly recommend the trip.

So much fun, have wanted to ride the Puffing Billy for a long time.
Best experience being able to sit on the edge and dangle your legs.
Views are pretty.
We adored waving back at everyone that waved to us as we went past.
Staff were super friendly and happy to take photos.
Great day out.

Puffing Billy is a family favourite. A beautiful old steam train that whistles its way through the hills. Beautiful scenery, gorgeous bridge and friendly locals waving as you pass by. Children 5 and up are able to dangle their legs out the windows. This is an activity everyone of all ages will enjoy. However, there are a few changes that have occurred over the last few years to be aware of!
1. You must book online it’s so busy now that booking well in advance is necessary.
2. Children 16 and above are considered adults
3. The best place to park is at the nearby train station but signage to puffing Billy from there and back is very poor! Use Google.
4. You are advised to arrive an hour early. This is due to the queues.
5. You will be assigned a carriage. 4 bums per seat.
6. Lakeside is a brilliant place to stop. There are cafes, bathrooms, a swimming pool, playground, paddle boats and fantastic picnic spots. As kids we would come for the day and return later in the afternoon. Sadly this is no longer an option. You barely have time for the bathroom once you get off the train and line up for lunch you are required to reboard the train and head back to Belgrave. The new rule allowing 1.5hour is no where near enough time to spend anytime at lakeside with a family. I was so disappointed that there was not an option to select a later return time. I felt rushed and frustrated. We then sat at Menzies Creek for nearly 30 minutes due to a late train and as a result were rushed off the train in Belgrave.
I think this is a wonderful service and a great family activity but timetables need to be upheld despite late arrivals and later departure options need to be allowed to enable families to enjoy a day out together.

Puffing Billy Railway is an absolute ripper of a place to visit! It's a historic steam train that chugs its way through the stunning Dandenong Ranges in Victoria, Australia. The train ride is a real treat, taking you on a scenic journey through lush forests, over bridges, and even through some charming little towns. It's like stepping back in time!
The best part is, you can hop on and off at different stations along the way, so you can explore the surrounding areas and take in the beautiful scenery. The train itself is a beauty, with its old-fashioned carriages and that iconic puffing sound. It's a real hit with both kids and adults!
If you're a fan of trains or just want to experience something unique, Puffing Billy Railway is a must-visit. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is top-notch, and it's a great way to spend a day with family or friends. So grab your ticket, hop on board, and get ready for a jolly good time on Puffing Billy! 🚂😄

So much fun! Awesome experience. I would recommend it to anyone. It's best to get your tickets ahead of time. Look online and pick out a date because they are sold out pretty quickly. I recommend wearing shoes. Bring a light jacket, depending on the weather. Try and get there early so you can get a good parking and seat inside the train cart.

Finally got to go on the reopened Puffing Billy Railway, after many attempts at getting tickets! You do need to book months in advance to avoid disappointment (minimum three months). The tickets are limited number and you absolutely, totally, CANNOT get it on the day.
Booking/purchasing in advance is a must.
I went with a friend and we went on the longer journey, up to Gembrook, which is a five-hour return (2.5 one way), great for day trip.
You can stick you feet out for part of the train ride, at the halfway mark (at Lakeside stop), you need to be completely within the carriage (or they take the permit away from the operators, which is wholly run by volunteers).
Take food and drink with you, and maybe a picnic rug, if you're doing the five hour day trip, there is a small park at Gembrook you can have your lunch at, or visit the other restaurants on offer in the town.
The most unfortunate thing during my visit was we were delayed for two hours at Lakeside, where the Visitor Centre is located, and we were not really informed why the delay. We didn't get back to Belgrave until close to 1800.
The views from the train speaks for themselves. I do recommend this trip to anyone, well worth it.

My family loved the experience! We chose the Belgrave-Lakeside return trip. The weather was perfect so we got the most out of the experience. I loved that we were able to ride with our legs out the side of the train! It was so much fun, even for the adults. We had lunch at the cafe at Lakeside which was decent. They had a lovely exhibition too. Highly recommend!

It was a fun experience to ride on a steam train! Highly recommended to buy your ticket online in advance because seats are limited.
The journey starts from Belgrave station to Lakeside station and at Lakeside station, you’ll be given 1 hour to explore around the lake and have your lunch before the train departs back to Belgrave station.
We brought our picnic food since there were many tables available around the lake. But there’s also a lakeside cafe available in the visitor centre.
To enhance your experience, try to get seats on the right side when heading to Lakeside station or left side when returning to Belgrave station as the view is more eye catching on these sides.

Amazing experience! One of the best in Australia, I think everyone that is coming to Australia should try riding the train!
Some tips: book the ticket 2 weeks in advance for weekdays and I think maybe a month ++ for weekends

The ride to the lake was an amazing experience. I bought my ticket 2 months before my visit through GetYourGuide but unfortunately the ride was canceled. Then I booked my ticket directly from this official website and was lucky enough to get 5 tickets just before a week ☺️. My in-laws enjoyed the ride. People on the roads were waiting for the train to pass and they were waving us 😀 . Such a wonderful day it was . If you are visiting Melbourne, you must really need to go for this .
Amusement center with a water park & rides for all ages, plus koalas & dingos on a wildlife trail.
Gumbuya was great! It was like four family parks in one place... water park, theme park, zoo, and farm + some carnival style games and a giant playground. We spent a whole day from open until close exploring all of the activities and still didn't have time to do everything. Our kids had a ball and so did we. Well worth the ticket price and the food was not overpriced as you may find in other places that don't allow you to bring your own food (except fruit and extreme dietary requirements).
I loved the wild life section (2 baby koalas!), the kids loved the rides and water park, and we all had a great time at the petting zoo and watching the cow being milked (great hosts).
The water slides and adult rides are awesome. Such a good day! Highly recommended. We went on a cloudy day so there were no lines.
The wave pool is very cool. The staff were all very helpful. I really thought it was terrific. Perfect family park.

Visited on 25th Jan '22 and we loved it. I'm a family of 5 with teenage kids and an extremely energetic 4 year old and everyone loved it. We drove 1 hour 50 minutes to get here, arrived at 10.30 by the time we got in we found a nice sheltered picnic table area not too far from the Cafe, there are many picnic tables scattered around the grassy areas, which was good we left our bags and shoes there while we enjoyed the theme park. Ques were normal waiting times for the dry rides. Enough rides for the little ones, then we headed over to the sanctuary, there were feeding times if you are interested to watch and there is a play ground and sand pit in that area too. Staff were friendly all around and helpful. We told the teens to do the water slides first as they do tend to get quite busy I think they were the busiest during 12.30 to 3. Still there would've been a wait of no more than 30 minutes. The change rooms were clean, they had showers and lockers. I only took off one star due to no outside food allowed policy and over priced cafe food, can get costly for families. The frozen coke and ice cream prices were usual pricing. Water fountains to refill water bottles would be handy. it was not overly crowded at all spent the whole day here up until 6pm. I would definitely come again, if it was closer, I would've purchased a season pass. I think other reviews that were given around new years break was expected for waterworld to be super busy due to COVID19 affecting travel, and most places even local beaches can get really horrible too during these trying times esp new years break and public holidays, people should be kinder considering the last couple of years of lockdowns. Anyway thanks to all the staff at water world

This has it all!
We as a family like to go to waters - indoors and outdoors and the waterpark here is so convenient.
I had a promotional ticket so it was cheap to visit for our family. Definitely look for some discount on the tickets as they are not cheap!
The water park was perfect as water pool was nice and warm and one of the pools were nice and hot! Some play area used really cold water but generally it was overall very good.
What I liked about Gumbuya world was it has other places to go. Some rides and farm-looking settings too! You get to see and touch some of the animals and it was just good for kids.
Everywhere was reasonably clean!
Only reason why I took one star out of 5 was the water at the shower was freezing COLD and my kids ended up crying while having a shower😅
I don’t mind a cold shower but water was not just cold it was freezing! So it was not a nice ending🥲 I’m not sure it was only the case when I visited or it’s always like that. Anyway cold shower was really bad but other than that we enjoyed everything!
Driving wasn’t too bad depending on the traffic /where you’re from but parking was pretty good + free :)

Fantastic for families with young kids! The rides are fun, the restaurant is normal theme park food and the toilets are extremely clean.
I only gave Gumbuya world 3 stars because the animal area is terrible. The animals are awesome, there’s nothing wrong there. But there are no staff to keep the animals safe and a lot of the patrons walking around have no respect for the animals, chasing around the peacocks and chickens and just being ignorant. Getting really close for a photo or selfie. Even if they are friendly, if they’re running away just chill!
Please put a few staff in that area to tell people to be decent humans and not harass the poor animals! It ruined my day after enjoying the water slides. If you’re going to house these beautiful creatures, please look after them. I saw a lady kick a chicken…and her son did the same.
I could rant forever about the care of the animals by patrons but all I’ll say is, take your family for a lovely day out at Gumbuya world and be respectful to animals and staff. ❤️

It's 2.30 on a Wednesday afternoon. No rides.. No water park.. Everything is shut. No food.. What a waste of time and money. I screwed up and got 3 memberships thinking it would be good.. Very disappointing. People are literally sitting around on seats with nothing to do. The petting zoo is still open but the animals are so over people right now. Yeah I don't recommend this place at all.. There's other places in Melbourne to go and spend your money at.

Nice place for Melbourne locals to head to during summer. The water park section is a lot more fun than the other parts of the park. The water slides are a lot of fun. The kids really enjoyed themselves. The other rides in the park are below average. The nature enclosures are a great place to walk around and educational for the kids.

Went there today (Wednesday 5.7.23) during school holidays and it was such a nice day out. It was my first time going since it became Gumbuya “world”.
Absolutely no queues, not a great deal of people. It was cold and a bit drizzly so maybe that deterred people but it was perfect for us.
So many animals, great enclosures, lots to see. The flight show was great, kids loved it.
The food is priced as you’d expect (hot dog, chips and 2 drinks was $27) but we also took in our own sandwiches and snacks.
Plenty of rides (rides are on during the week in school holidays) a couple of the big ones only opened for a limited time but there were no lines so it was fine.
Water park was closed obviously.
Gift shop is very expensive, $42 for one medium sized stuffed toy, $12 for a show bag with about 6 lollies in it.
We had 2 adults, a 15, 11, 6 and 2 year old and all had a ball. Got there at 11am and left at 4pm.
Will definitely go again!

Super fun place!!
> we went on a “cold” day, around 20 degrees and we basically had the whole place to ourselves. Not sure what it’s like on a warm day, but there were no queues on the waterslides and only had to wait one round for the rollercoasters. A lot of the rides were empty because there wasn’t anyone who wanted to go on them.
> The large rollercoasters have operating hours, they take turns between the TNT and Project Zero, we unfortunately missed the green one because we lost track of time feeding the kangaroos, so bare that in mind.
> the animals where very active, the koalas are really close! Saw a baby koala snoozing, it was adorable.
> The peacocks are very active, and they don’t mind you getting close.
> Lockers are $10 all day for a small one, in the cafe. Probably get scarce on busy days.
> the rollercoasters have pigeonholes to put your stuff in so you won’t need a locker if you’re not planning to go in the water.
> wave pool was really fun! Despite the cloudy day and cold wind, the water was warm.
> The TNT ride is really fun, it’s super smooth so you not to worry about it being too rough. Saw people of all ages having a blast on it (get it).
> waterslides where super fun, there is a lift to get you up to the top, but only if you get a Qpass ($25 extra per person)
>tickets online close at 11am (when it opens) so make sure you prepay! No need to get a fast pass if you’re going during the week or if it’s not school holidays.
In summary, highly recommend to go here with your family while you’re in Melbourne!
It is a tad expensive though, for two adults it was $122. It was also a very long drive from the city, so uni students probably not for you unless you’re rolling in dough and spare time.

Outstanding facilities. Plenty of car park spots, we bought the tickets previously and it did save some time at the entrance, was pretty quick.
The only thing is that we came in on a non particular warm Saturday, which made our day a bit difficult as the water is really cold and the wind didn’t help. However, that made it a bit easy as all the spots were really quick and we didn’t have to queue at all.
I’ll be back for sure!

Lots of fun to be had @gumbuya_world 🎟️🎡🎢🌊🍦
Gumbuya World is divided into 4 themed areas: Oasis Springs, Outback Explorers, Oz Adventures and Wildlife Trail.
We quickly visited Wildlife Trail: Critter Cave and Petting Zoo and we spent most of the day at Oasis Springs.
It was very busy but ride queues were moving fairly quick.
There were two main ice cream places available and also the main restaurant was serving a variety of fast foods. The staff were friendly and ensured the restaurant and the toilets were clean and tidy.
Life guards were actively supervising the park making sure everyone is safe.
We love our amusement park experience.
✨Note: Book in advance to get the best discounts. We booked the night before and it was expensive.

We had such a fun day at Gumbuya World yesterday. The Freestyle Kings, Ryan and Jordz were the reason we booked our tickets, and they didn't disappoint.
Of course we loved the animals and the rides but there were waits for a lot of the rides, and little kids are most impatient haha.
Would love to see the bikes again. Great combination of animals, rides and stunts. Well done Gumbuya World. 😊

There was a line before they opened at 11am. Best to book online beforehand and arrive 15 20mins before opening time.
There are wet rides like waterslides and lazy pool. Best to bring bathers and do the dry rides first before heading to the Oasis.
There are youngest for younger kids at the other end. Lotsa of shade and picnic spots for families.
There are also showbags and ice cream popcorn at the kiosk or cafeteria.
Lockers for hire are available too.

Enjoyed our family day out at Gumbuya World. The grounds are extremely well kept and beautiful. An abundance of tropical and local plants provide the perfect backdrop to each themed area. There was absolutely no rubbish on the ground and the bins ŵere discreet. The changerooms and toilets were very clean and modern. The staff were proactive at all times. The lifeguards were always active on duty and the safety taken by the ride staff was of a very high standard. Unfortunately, the food was terrible and expensive. I don't mind paying for good quality food, if the option is available. I would give five stars if the food was worth paying for. The park was busy but we didn't feel packed in, there was plenty of space for everyone. The entry price was not an issue because I appreciated the cleanliness of the park and the high standard and professionalism of staff. You can tell staff are well trained and take their job seriously, which added a nice vibe to the day.

the experience was amazing the only two complaints were the ride wait times and that there were to many people in the wave pool someone even picked me up and thought I was there friend. The wait times were insanely long and my grandchildren had to wait 20 mins for just the little kids slides. But other than that the whole park was ran so well and all the animals were adorable my brother said it was amazing and it was definitely one of the best experience of my life.

Such a wonderful surprise to find this place in victoria. Very well planned attraction. Only disappointments were that our pizzas were as cold and the water in the surf pool was freezing. Foodwise, aside the disappointing pizzas, overall it does deserve credit as they have a good selections and the prices are priced reasonably unlike the theme parks in Goldcoast which are of a rip off.
Well done and i really look fwd to giving it more stars!

I enjoyed my time here at Gumbuya Water Park, if you pay for daily pass for all 3
You’ll get a good taste of how good Gumbuya is. There are some pros/cons I want to touch base on
Pros:
- Awesome Rides, Water Slides, LAZY RIVER is amazing!
- Animals/mini Zoo (you get to touch some of the animals)
- Kids Zone
-Train that goes around like a Safari
Cons:
- Unable to take sandwiches/snacks and drinks inside.
- waiting line could take up to 30 mins depending on what ride/slide you going on
-for plus size men like myself, Most rides dry rides we won’t fit. So stick to the Lazy River and water slides lol

Gumbuya World is a great day out. There's something for all ages, including pre-schoolers, and I've struggled to properly get around all four worlds each time I've visited. The Wildlife world alone is a good zoo experience. I wouldn't want to visit in peak times but I can vouch for weekends in March if, like me, you prefer it relatively chilled.

The Melbourne Cricket Ground, often referred to simply as the 'G', is one of the world's great sporting venues and home of Australian football and the National Sports Museum. It also serves as a music venue and more. The ground holds 100,000 people and hosts cricket in summer and AFL (Australian rules football) footy in winter.
A magnificent cricket ground! Great atmosphere and facilities. Can easily be accessible by Tram, Train or Car. Lots of parking available during games. Came here to watch the Manchester United Tour games. Very fun experience and huge stadium, not a fan of how far you are from the pitch and that Level 1 seating is quite flat which means anyone standing up will block the view of those behind. Would recommend booking on Level 2.
Easily accessible via public transport, best to take the Metro after games as the tram come infrequently and it’s always packed.

Great stadium for watching AFL football. Only disappointment is the extreme wait when purchasing a beverage or food (up to 25 minutes wait for a drink). Serving crowds in a timely manner should get easier after a century of events hosting over 100,000 people.

The official tour of the MCG was really interesting with lots of facts and anecdotes included by the friendly and knowledgeable guide. I was last at the ground in 1996 and it has now been completely transformed, yet still retains its sense of history and tradition. Definitely worth a visit for any cricket and/or Australian rules football fans; plus the walking options from the city centre include strolling through beautiful parks or along the Yarra riverbank.

I’m American and have only seen two cricket games and yet I still loved the tour. Peter, our guide, did a great job.
The tour lasted 75-mins. It moves quickly so you see everything. There is time to take pictures and our guide took some for everyone as well in certain spots if you wanted them for your group .
You need to be comfortable walking quite a bit and walking quickly. Our group was a reasonable size.
There are lifts and I’m sure they offer special tours for those less ambulatory.

Amazing stadium, but you already know that. View from any seat in the house is amazing and unobstructed. Great food options on site with all the stadium favourites. The MCG and its accompanying museum certainly have a great rich history about them. There's much to see and do, and without being bias, I have to admit I had a good time, despite being a musician by nature and not the sporting type.
It's a great place to bring kids and even seasoned sports fans will learn something about the processes and preparations that take place prior to each game. Believe it or not, mowing the lawn isn't the only job needed.😂

Attending a footy match at the MCG was an absolutely unforgettable experience! The atmosphere of the stadium is truly electric, making every moment of the game feel thrilling and intense. I highly recommend getting a seat close to the ground to truly feel the excitement and energy of the match. There is ample parking available both around and inside the MCG, which made getting there a breeze.
Inside the stadium, there are several food options ranging from snacks to full meals, as well as drinks and coffee to keep you refreshed throughout the game. The match typically lasts around 3 hours, so be sure to grab something warm and a jacket if needed. Additionally, there are convenient toilets located inside the MCG for your convenience. Went on a tour here and it was mesmerizing to know the history and the sheer size of the stadium. You got to see different facilities behind the scenes as well as detailed explanations of everything :)

What a historic tour I had, headed straight from the airport and was able to keep my luggage in the locker space they had. Absolutely no issues.
Ian was our guide and he was the most exciting person I have ever seen. He had so much energy, excitement, enthusiasm, and passion about cricket and all the historical events he shared with us was something special and most of us didn’t know.
The museum tour is on your own but there are guides present as well. They will help you understand about anything you ask but it’s not limited to cricket. MCG is about everything.
I highly recommend the tour.

I have been a big Taylor fan for many years; however, I was actively considering not attending the Eras tour in fear of getting in and out of the event with 96,000 people plus everyone on the outside listening in.
However, I was equally shocked and impressed by:
✅How well they had the crowds moving.
✅How easy it was to get around.
✅How well organised it was.
✅How friendly the staff were.
✅How well the facilities handed the capacity.

Great stadium, huge but well organised. It was easy to get inside the stadium and find our seats. The canteen/ restaurant was big and it served food and drinks with reasonable prices. Staff were very nice with great custumer services, security guards were friendly and helpful. Toilet was clean and easily accessible. Even though there was a huge crowd of 100,000 people attending the event, we walked and exited easily. The concert of was out of this word. What a great experience we had!!!

Fantastic stadium. Well laid out with a well lit concourse. Ushers everywhere, all willing to help (unlike in North American arenas and stadiums). Large screen monitors everywhere, or so it seems. My first AFL game. Fortunately had my neice's boyfriend to explain the game to me.

The MCG is the home ground for my football team and I am so glad it is because it’s the perfect setting for a good game of football. With accessibility to all levels, beautiful views of the field, and multiple places to eat it’s one of my favourite sporting locations.
If you head along on a day where sport isn’t being played you can see the sports museum which has a vast history of Australian and international sports on display. Perfect for families and friends alike for a day trip and ideal for any sports fan on a visit to the G. Staff are friendly and helpful, facilities are well maintained and cared for, and the atmosphere on the biggest sporting days is electric. Give the MCG a visit on your next trip into Richmond.
The Flinders Street Railway Station is a popular Melbourne tourist attraction that was opened in 1909. The station has an iconic yellow facade and is located close to the city centre. The station is home to a number of shops and restaurants, as well as being a stop on the public transport network.
Nice and clean place.
Stand beneath the clocks of Melbourne's iconic railway station, as tourists and Melburnians have done for generations. Take a train for outer-Melbourne explorations, join a tour to learn more about the history of the grand building, or go underneath the station to see the changing exhibitions that line Campbell Arcade.

One of Melbourne’s iconic must-sees. Flinders street is a clean station with lots of help and food options. The ballrooms above are beautiful (but not accessible unless for an exhibition or something). Across the road are many options for food and cafe’s. Recently saw the Rone exhibition in the ballrooms and they were amazing!! Definitely recommend.

Emblematic Train station in Melbourne.
Photos here are a must.
The architecture is quite beautiful, although inside it is pretty much a train station.
A must stop to see point in the city.

Huge station with friendly staff and a lot of shops. I visited this station on Australia Day. There was a big crowd in front of the station but the police and security staff kept everything in order. This is historically building. It worths to visit even if you don’t use train. There is beautiful cathedral in front of the station. Good place to visit too.

The Flinders Street Station is one of Melbourne's most iconic landmarks. Tourists and Melburnians alike have stood beneath the clocks of Melbourne's iconic central railway station for generations.
The station is located in the center of Melbourne, next to the Yarra River. The station was last renovated a few years ago.
From here, you can reach most places in Melbourne by public transportation. There are trains running throughout Melbourne. Just outside the station there are also multiple trams that pass by regularly. There are toilet facilities at the station as well.
St Paul's Cathedral provides a good view of the station.

The architecture of the building viewed from the outside is a reminder of its history and how long it has stood.
Station itself is convenient, clean toilets, escalators to go up and down platforms, signage for train times and itineraries in multiple places. Staff posted around the station are friendly

It famously became the very first steam rail station in all of Australia. Currently, Flinders Street railway station is located on the corner of Flinders and Swanston streets in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Opened in 1854, the historic station serves the entire electrified metropolitan rail network, as well as some country services to eastern Victoria. The station has 13 platforms and is approximately 1.25 kilometers from Southern cross station.

One of iconic, big and busy station in melbourne city. love the building exterior.

I do not really understand people giving this train station such a high reviews. From my perspective, it is a filthy, run-down train station (please see the pictures attached; my apology for the picture of a toilet, I intentionally did not took picture of the whole toilet showing how disgusting it was). Yes, the historical building is nice, however, maintenance and cleanliness is absolutely shocking.
Considering this is one of the busiest and the most famous train station in Melbourne, it is really a shame. The train station has been in renovation for at least 5 years, but I cannot see anything being done. Try to compare it to main train station in other cities, e.g. Singapore, Dubai, Tokyo, etc. It would like comparing Day and Night.

Old and famous Iconic landmark in city centre with classic architecture. It’s worth to visit and take photos there.
The Shrine of Remembrance commemorates all Australians who have served in wars, as well as those who have lost their lives. The complex has a viewing platform at the top where you can enjoy views of the cityscape. There is also a museum detailing Australias role in the World Wars, which is free to enter.
I've been to the park area and "seen" the Shrine many times living in Melbourne for over 40 years, though this was the first time visiting it properly.
The gallery/museum area has a large range of information and displays from all eras of conflict and peacekeeping with Australians, and there's a central crypt and also access to the balcony with another perspective of the area and surrounds.
The trees around the park each have dedication plaques to the numerous battalions, and a special place for a tree grown from the seed of the Gallipoli Lone Pine.
For those of us lucky enough to be oblivious to war or even conflict, this is definitely a respectful and informative memorial to those that have served and sacrificed everything for our freedom.

Any tourist visiting Melbourne, whether international or domestic, will have a memorable experience. A beautiful view over this part of Melbourne is available from the roof of the Shrine, which is free to enter.

Majestic, magnificent, The Shrine of Remembrance is not just a building; it's a profound symbol of reverence, an embodiment of history, and a testament to the indomitable human spirit. As a visitor, I was left awestruck by the sheer magnitude of emotions and respect that this monumental structure evokes.
From the moment I stepped onto the beautifully landscaped grounds, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of solemnity and reflection. The surrounding gardens, meticulously maintained, provide a peaceful setting to contemplate the sacrifices made by countless men and women who served their country. The view of the Melbourne city skyline from the forecourt is breathtaking and serves as a poignant reminder of the contrast between the peaceful present and the turbulent past.
The Shrine itself is a masterpiece of architecture. Its classical design, inspired by ancient Greek and Egyptian styles, exudes grandeur and timelessness. The bronze doors, adorned with poignant quotes and emblems, set the tone for what lies inside. The interior is equally impressive, with its stunning marble floors, towering columns, and the iconic Eternal Flame that never falters, symbolizing eternal remembrance for the fallen.
What makes the Shrine truly exceptional is its educational aspect. The Galleries of Remembrance are a treasure trove of knowledge, meticulously curated to provide a comprehensive understanding of Australia's military history. Interactive exhibits, artifacts, and multimedia displays bring the stories of veterans and their sacrifices to life. It's a place where one can truly connect with the past and gain a deeper appreciation for the freedoms we enjoy today.
The staff at the Shrine are dedicated and knowledgeable, always ready to assist visitors and answer questions. Their passion for preserving the memory of those who served is evident, and they play a crucial role in making the experience meaningful.
I highly recommend taking one of the guided tours offered here. The guides are well-versed in history and offer profound insights into the significance of this place. Hearing personal stories of bravery and sacrifice from the guides added a deeply human touch to my visit.
Visiting the Shrine of Remembrance is not just a tourist activity; it's a moral obligation, a chance to pay homage to the heroes who gave their all for our freedom. Whether you're a history buff or simply looking for a place of reflection, this monument will leave an indelible mark on your soul. It's a place where gratitude, respect, and reverence converge, reminding us of the importance of never forgetting the sacrifices made for our Australia.
In conclusion, the Shrine of Remembrance is a solemn and awe-inspiring tribute to the brave souls who served their country. It stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of remembrance and gratitude. If you have the opportunity, do visit this hallowed ground; it's an experience that will leave you forever changed.
Also, the Now Or Never show was simply astounding!

This place is simple to reach, if you are within tram access, take the tram down St. Kilda road and stop at the Shrine of Remembrance tram stop. I would heartily recommend a visit to this wonderful place.

Always love to visit the Shrine when I'm in the city. Such a beautiful spot to take ok the vista. Well worth attending one of the talks inside and watching the sun pass over the dial. Awesome feat of architecture and a great place to take it all in. The view from the top is well worth it.

This is a sobering building documenting Victoria's participation in the numerous conflicts around the world, and serves as a reminder of the horrors of war. A place deserving of respect and built to reflect this, it was quite an unforgettable experience as you venture through the galleries, gradually making your way up to the balcony.
If you're a history buff, this is a must visit place, though it may not be entirely suitable for children. There's also a balcony at the top offering a scenic view of the city and the gardens nearby. Entrance to the place is free, but visitors are free to make a donation as they deem suitable.

This place is really cool. I enjoyed the rich history of the museum and the great view from the top. Most of all, it’s free!
I would encourage visitors to enter and look around. Australia’s involvement in the past wars is detailed extensively by the museum. They honor them in this shrine for their contributions. (The crypt area gave me the shivers.)

Here’s a timeline to help you plan a dawn service visit next year.
Arrived for the dawn service around 5am and there was already so many people there. Roads were closed. There were two big screens playing from before we arrived providing everyone at the top a view regardless of their vantage point but there seemed so many more people down the sides of the hill too which may have been limited viewing. The Welcome to Country was at 5:30 but the main service was 6. All over by 6:30. They opened the Shrine shortly after and ushered thousands of people through so quickly. We waited to last and was still through by 7:20. We then explored the extensive museum, crypt and surrounds. The museum is next level with knowledgeable passionate people sharing information dotted around the place. It had only very dim lighting and felt like a maze. You would spend hours in here if you wanted to read through and experience everything but we left before 9 for the parade. Note a RAAF plane flyover was at 11 and I also heard they were opening the balcony at 1pm.

Actually, I enjoyed the place more than I had expected. During my studies in Architecture, I worked on a project that involved designing a memorial museum. The main objective of the project was to create a space that would seamlessly connect the past, present, and the hope for the future, which is exactly what I found inside.
On another note, the entire area is huge, green and pretty. The rooftop area offers a splendid view of the downtown and occasionally you can catch a glimpse of an airplane flying by!

The Shrine of Remembrance is a truly awe-inspiring place. It is a war memorial that commemorates the sacrifices of all Australians who have served in wars and conflicts. The Shrine is located on a hilltop overlooking Melbourne, and it offers stunning views of the city.
The Shrine is a beautiful building, made of white marble and granite. It is adorned with sculptures, mosaics, and stained glass windows. The interior of the Shrine is equally impressive, with a large Hall of Remembrance, a Sanctuary, and a crypt.
The Hall of Remembrance is the heart of the Shrine. It is a vast space with a high ceiling and stained glass windows that depict scenes from Australian history. The Sanctuary is a smaller space that is used for quiet reflection and prayer. The crypt is home to the Eternal Flame, which burns in memory of all Australians who have died in wars and conflicts.
The Shrine of Remembrance is a place of great significance for Australians. It is a place to remember those who have served their country, and to honor their sacrifices. It is also a place to learn about Australian history and to reflect on the importance of peace.

I have been to the shrine itself a couple of times as I like to walk around the area but I’ve never been inside.
It was such an amazing and interesting experience to learn about the history of war of Australia. Exploring the shrine is free and there’s audio and video checkpoints that will tell you about the history starting in the 19th century until today. There are quite a few stairs going up to the top of building but you’ll be rewarded with a nice view of Melbourne.

Awesome place (in the true sense of the word) which we couldn't do justice to when we visited. I could easily spend a day in there reading how the Australians selflessly pitched in to help the UK and other allies right at the start of two world wars rather than hanging back as others did. Very moving accounts of sacrifice and heroism and fascinating historical context. I hope you realise how much you were/are appreciated.

Luna Park Melbourne is a nostalgic carnival theme park with plenty of exciting rides enjoyed by generations of park-goers. It is located in the heart of Melbourne and can be easily reached by public transport.
We had an amazing time! The amount of rides in such a small space is really well done so impressed. It was super busy but that's to be expected especially on a public holiday, though the booking online only was an excellent way to manage the crowds.

Not a bad little park! I've been to Luna Park 3 - 4 times and each experience was different.
My last visit was Luna After Dark, and it was fun! First stop the Scenic Railway (always a gut getter for me), ghost train boy that was a let down...First and last for that ride. Upgrade it guys. Ferris wheel was great for views and swinging (hehe), tram dark experience was interesting, DARK and wet. Haunted maze was good, dark and scary!
Wanted to go on the Spider but the line got too long. That's the bummer with some of the rides, long lines & some seats aren't filled on the rides.
Ended the night with a soothing ride of the Carousel.
If you need a finisher, ride the Carousel. 🎠

It's Luna Park! Maybe it's a bit overpriced, and the rides are a bit old, but the kids just love it. The staff love what they do, and it's a fun day of joy. We spent a few hours there and enjoyed ourselves immensely. They are young and not too adventurous, so it was 2 rides each. They loved the dodgems and dart game. They're still playing with that trick ice cream cone! It's an institution! Long live Luna Park!

Never been in winter before but I'm now sold on the idea. Everything operated as normal and very little wait time. Rug up and have fun with family and friends. Note some rides don't operate in the rain or wind so pick a Winter's day that's sunny still. We stayed to closing time so it was fantastic to see the rides all lit up once the sun went down. The scenic railway was under maintenance but that was clearly listed on the website before we left home. We received some free passes to go on the scenic railway at another time (not passes to the whole park, just the railway). 4/5 stars because the food is so expensive and the toilets a little messy. Everything else is excellent.

Nice little amusement park located in St Kilda which is circa 15/20min drive away from the Melbourne CBD.
Lots of rides are kid-friendly but can also be very fun and scary at the same time!!
Would recommend as an experience if you are in town and have not been here before but don't think I will be back again (I did have fun though!).
Note unfortunately the famous rollercoaster was under maintenance until later this year so was not able to go on it🥺

Didn't realise when went there at 11am on a Sunday morning would need to queue for 20 minutes before we got in, even though we had brought entry tickets online. But once inside, fantastic! However for reasons I can't explain the first thing I did was get on the Dragonboat ride, which in my day was the Pirate Ship, with a friends 14 year old son. We sat right at the back and then I thought I should move 2 rows down, Thank goodness. Oh my when I did this as a teenager I found it exhilarating but not so today, I was basically holding on for dear life and couldn't wait for it to end, I think if I was in back row I would have been in tears! After that shock went on the Ghost Train which was well, lame. Then husband and teenager went on the Spider. Went on other (sedate) rides and had a go at the Laughing Clowns that have bettered me for the years I have been feeding balls into their mouths. We also had takeaway coffees (soy latte and flat white), hot chips and good old hot jam donuts. Went to gift shop but disappointingly didn't have tshirt size I wanted. We were there for 2 hours and really needed 3 hours. Will go back because unfortunately today Scenic Railway down for maintenance and want to go on that, though after my experience on the Dragon Boat who knows.

Was a good experience with the kids. Was invited for a kids' birthday party. The entire place looks run down. I haven't been since 2013 and so visiting this year seemed like not much has been done to uplift the place aesthetically. The rides were great and still is. Part of the place is under reno so it limits movement and crowds form really quickly.

Not much to do, there are some rides and games but mostly for younger kida, I'd say between ages 5-10. Personally if you're older I mostly went in appreciation of the architecture and the preserved nature of the rides and attractions themselves.
Especially the Scenic Rollercoaster 🎢. Which is operated by 2 people that are always standing in the kart while everyone else is strapped in. It's so cool to see an old tradition, skill and machine still being used and passed down for so many generations.
The Carousel is also just such a sight to behold 🎠. The amazing history and the sheer beauty of the Carousel is just amazing to see the preservation of. And the history of it too, so cool.
I just wish there was some more stuff to do for adults, maybe possibly a tour of the Parks history.

It was great experience with kids. I had discounted tickets with RACV but later I found that I could get cheaper with small ideas. Food in cafe was great. Smell in roller-coaster was horrible but otherwise having a great time
Richard Yoon — Google review
This place we would be perfect for the younger kids as all the rides are located very near each other, however for the adults, I would recommend only buying the entry fee which will include one free ride.
We chose the scenic railway to experience riding on the heritage listed roller coaster 🎢 and to enjoy the views of Port Phillip Bay! Highly recommended if you are visiting St Kilda!
There are cafes located inside to enjoy some shade on a hot day.

Still a very small theme park despite the renovations and the investment. If you're looking for a whole day, you'll probably get half a day here.
Still very nostalgic and reminiscent of the old days but a lot of work for a full day park. I would recommend if you have time to go check out, come Gumbaya World if you're looking for a proper theme park
Raghav Tandon — Google review
Visited on a weekday specifically Wednesday. I purchased the unlimited ticket. Luckily, me and my partner experienced all the rides with a less minimum time. So it will be good to visit during weekdays to compensate the tickets. However when it comes to food, it’s a little bit pricey and toilets are hard to find.

A quaint theme park in the heart of trendy St Kilda. The scenic rollercoaster was really fun and gave you a perfect view of all around stKilda. We also witnessed the sunset which was fun. There were many other good rides too, and some traditional carnival games, food trucks and the essential souvenir shop. A fun day out for the whole family, or with your partner or friends.
Queues can be a bit long (30 mins+), and the park is not always open, so look on their website for all the information.
St. Kilda beach is one of Melbourne's most popular tourist destinations, with a wide range of activities on offer for visitors including swimming, sunbathing and eating out. The beachfront has recently been redeveloped with improvements such as new cafes and restaurants.
Beautiful, clean, smooth sand beach. There's also a beach for dogs, separated with the main beach, so you can bring your 4 legs friends there without hesitating. Free shower stands are available everywhere. Kids playground is also a plus there.

Nice strolling along the beach. Not the prettiest beach but gives good vibes. Many people fishing along the pier. Lots of people walking their dogs. Some playing beach volley.

Well worth a visit, nice park there as well as beach. As pier was under reconstructions.
Went to see the sunset, did’t see it as cloudy.
Fairy Penguin not seen, as the Penguin viewing platform was under reconstruction at the end of the pier.

St. Kilda Beach captivated me during my visit last summer, leaving me with unforgettable memories. The pristine shoreline and azure waters provided the perfect backdrop for a rejuvenating day out. It's not just a beach; it's an experience. Whether you're soaking up the sun, indulging in water sports, or simply strolling along the promenade, there's something for everyone.
What truly stood out was the sense of community and joy. Families building sandcastles, friends playing beach volleyball, and couples enjoying romantic walks – the beach buzzed with happiness. St. Kilda Beach isn't just a destination; it's a hub of laughter and connection.
Moreover, the abundance of restaurants nearby is a cherry on top. From cozy cafes to gourmet eateries, the culinary options cater to every palate. After a day of fun in the sun, dining by the beachfront adds a touch of magic to the experience.
In conclusion, St. Kilda Beach isn't just a beach; it's a haven of relaxation, fun, and delicious indulgence. Whether you're seeking adventure or simply craving a serene escape, this beach has it all. It's the perfect destination to create cherished memories with loved ones, and I can't wait to return.

A very nice place for a walk anytime of the day but not a typical beach where people set up tents and everything as the shore is quite close. Lots of shops around and things to see such as the solar system scale model which I really enjoy

Perfect for jogging 🏃♀️ skating 🛹 Beautiful Clean beach with good shower rooms. ( but some areas are bit smelly) Multiple cafes are there. Bring your own mats or chairs and go for a beach fun! Cheers

Another beautiful beach in Melbourne! There’s are many bars, resturant s and Alina park!
The beach was quite peaceful when we went. Not quite as nice as some of the others but very beautiful.

St Kilda Beach is known to be the most popular beach in Victoria or Melbourne...you gotta go on a good day when the sun is shining and when the sky is super clear....the water feels like a mirror...the amount of people that go there is absolutely ridiculous nowadays....so many people but highly recommended, really cool beach....
Eric 唐Tang 劭聿 — Google review
It is a really nice beach close to Melbourne CBD and easily accessed by public transport or car with a lot of paid parking slots along St Kilda Road.
There are a lot of things to do in the area:
- walk along the beach
- sunbathe, swim on sunny days
- visit nearby beautiful gardens
- walk along the pier
- play water sports
If you love penguins, you can walk through the pier, to the St Kilda Penguin area (seem to be temporarily closed now), then you can see some penguins sometimes.
Khanh Truong — Google review
The best place for sitting and watching the sunset. I would recommend cycling and running along the beach.
opallpyp — Google review
A bit shocked to see so many people here and swimming. The water is dirty and the beach is quite plain - just sand and grass.
But people enjoy playing ball here, sunbathing, and swimming. I also saw some jet skis as well. I personally didn't like it but to each their own.

I loved my day at St Kilda Beach 🏖️ The sun, sand, and vibrant atmosphere made for the perfect beach getaway. From leisurely walks on the golden sands to sampling delicious food at the nearby cafes, every moment was pure bliss. The stunning views and refreshing sea breeze created a sense of tranquility. I hope they put more effort into cleaning the shore, It was full of gravel, seaweed, and pieces of wood.

The beach is a clean and somehow busy. Sometimes there are running or cycling events there and you can participate or just enjoy the good vibes. and also is a good place for relaxing in warm sands or reading book or swimming. There is also a beach near there for dogs. And there are lots of restaurants and bars there. So everything is available at this area for having a sunny swimming day

On Australia Day at St Kilda Beach, the weather is delightful with a gentle breeze and clear skies. Seagulls soar gracefully against the blue sky, while people leisurely engage in activities such as fishing, walking their dogs, and sunbathing.
JQ Z — Google review
St Kilda Beach has a certain undeniable charm. The sand is soft, the water is clear (well, clearer than most city beaches), and there's a real buzz in the air. It's clear why it's such a popular spot.
But, as a visitor, I wouldn't say it's the most relaxing beach experience. It's loud! There are always buskers around, and the hawker stalls add to the general cacophony. Don't get me wrong, the vibe is infectious, but it's not exactly "tranquil."
The beach itself is pretty small, and on a sunny day, it gets absolutely packed. Finding a spot to lay down your towel can be a bit of a mission, and forget about having any personal space.
If you're looking for a lively beach scene, with entertainment and people-watching galore, then St Kilda is fantastic. But if you're after a serene escape to soak up the sun and listen to the waves, there might be better options around.

I'll never travel to Summerlands without this trip planner again
Brighton Beach is a well-liked seaside spot with public restrooms and parking facilities, adorned by eye-catching Victorian bathing boxes. A must-visit destination in Melbourne, the foreshore of Brighton Beach offers an ideal backdrop for picture-perfect moments. The 82 unique bathing boxes make the location iconic and representative of the city's culture. Visitors should ensure they explore this attraction before sunset to capture breathtaking photos of themselves that showcase their personality while featuring a matching box as a backdrop.
Beautiful beach with lovely and colorful small houses along the way. It is recommended to enjoy the white sand and tidal waves with your beloved ones.

I remember during lockdowns I used to regularly walk down to the beach and back but hadn't visited since then but literally going past so stopped to take some photos. And it was perfect say, sunny winters day, flat, calm beautiful blue water. Lots of parking along beach but need Bayside parking permit or else have to pay. And of course there's the tourist trap of the beach boxes.

Very peaceful and beautiful beach, I love the decoration of each house. You can get a very nice view of both the beach and the city skyline when you walk all the way to the end of the beach. The neighbourhood is lovely and there are lots of nice places to eat nearby.

It’s a beautiful beach for photo-taking and sightseeing in Melbourne! Those colorful cabins on the beach were awesome and some of them had nice designs and paintings on the walls. The only thing is that there was a big construction site next to the beach, which was a bit annoying. Hopefully we can see the whole beach area again soon!

Good time camping in the afternoon. Sunny day.. !! Had a swim, some sun, played volleyball and slept in the camp. The life guards on duty were very friendly and helpful. Just make sure to park your car in the right spots. There are plenty of spots near the beach.

It’s a great place to spend a good sunny day. We spent about 2-3 hours here which was amazing. We also had our lunch here when we had a minor disturbance from the birds but it’s no big deal. Kids loved the beach and wanted to spend more time in the water. There is a walking trail along the beach and a designated area for dogs to play. Thanks.

You can see the cute huts that Melbourne is famous for. There are a lot of tourists, so I don't recommend it if you want to relax. If you want to take photos, we recommend visiting during sunset.

A small but beautiful beach about around 45 minutes comfy train journey. And just 2 minutes walking distance from the train station. There are three tiny beaches here and what I saw was people were enjoying themselves with their family members, friends, etc. There was a small tourist market over there( local handmade goods are sold there)
One of the beaches has small colorful changing rooms are there which is one of the attractions of this beach.

We came in the hottest day on Dec 14. Beautiful beaches with unique decorated huts along the beach. You can take a nice picture la and the beach is clean and crowded. Lots of flies which I don’t really like. Nothing you can expect like food or drinks on sell there.. BYO!
Andrew Goh — Google review
Was not impressed. The travel to get here was not worth it. You travel almost an hour only to see mediocre houses painted with some random murals. The roads leading to this area is actually a lot better than the destination itself. In fact, the houses near this beach is much more impressive than the houses on this beach. Such a waste of time, it is better to go at Victoria National Museum or State Library if you want a better experience. Even better, just go straight to Great Ocean Road instead of wasting your time here.
Only the beach is its redeeming factor
Joseph Caresosa — Google review
Was there midday on a weekday, not too busy. There are currently constractions, but the beach is mostly accessable including the bath boxes, you can get there by train from Melbourne and a short walk from the two closest train station. Great view on the city skyline!

The beach is nothing to shout about but the highlight were the small bathhouses. It's quite cool to see so many different colors and designs but given the number of tourists.

This is the most unique beach I have ever seen in Australia. These colourful bathing boxes make the beach so special and beautiful. Many tourists and local people enjoyed taking photos in front of these boxers. Each of them has different color and different painting on it. Lucinda Estate Winery / Cellar Door / Vineyard

Food & Drink
Lucinda Estate Winery is a family-owned vineyard that produces Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Shiraz. They also offer apple and pear cider exclusively available at their cellar door. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, with delectable pizzas served alongside their tasty wines. The staff is knowledgeable about both the food menu and wine tasting, which can be enjoyed together at the table. Their signature apple cider has a dry flavor but remains pleasing to the palate.
What a great find! A very peaceful and relaxing afternoon filled with wine and cheese. After a little taste test from a friendly and very knowledgeable lady, I had the Syrah Rose. Perfect for the warm afternoon with such beautiful surrounding views. The ploughman’s platter was great value with so much variety. Best of all you have the option to add extra cheese. #glutenfree options available

We had a very enjoyable wine tasting and lunch at Lucinda. It's a relaxed friendly place with some nice wines and great pizzas. The staff were very friendly and helpful with both the food menu and the wine tasting which we had at our table while we ate our pizzas. We enjoyed the brown mushroom and the spiced lamb mince pizzas. The tasting included Lucinda's own apple cider which, although quite dry, was to my liking. We departed with several bottles of wine and 6 of cider.

We went there for much because the other winery we want to go closed for renovations. Very limited menu. $18 to $25 for an 6 inch super think crust ham and cheese pizza. No kids menu no kids friendly food. 2 Labradors was making my kids really scared lunch time cuz they kept hovering around and under our table. Very limited seating. No substantial actual food. Get the platter coz the pizza will surely disappointed. The 4 kids 4 adults spent $125 in did and that was just entree level. So we bought the wine (it's ok but overpriced of what I think ) and quickly left. The interior of the dining area/tasting area/ kitchen was super small. Our wine taste test felt like we were being rushed the entire time, we have to scull or glass to move on to the next. Compared to many cellar doors I have been to this is like a 2 stars the best. I just felt they were a bit rude and pushing us to try all the wine as only one person is doing taste testing and seriously she didn't make us feel welcome at all. Their pink fizz is at chadon level pricing and these mobs are universe apart. So I won't be going there ever again and definitely won't recommended. Your money can do much better else where.

We have been visiting local relatives from interstate and they took our family ( 6 adults 2 kinds) here for a wine tasting and light lunch around 2:30. When arriving we noticed that they were around 50% capacity and had finished the lunch rush. We easily got a big table and asked for a wine tasting. We were told by the manager that they were just finishing off coffees and deserts for other patrons and would be with us for a wine tasting after that. No problem at all i replied and ordered two bottles and some pizzas for the kids while we waited. Over the next 1-1.5 hours we asked another 4 times if we could have a wine tasting but were were told they were "under staffed" or told " yeah soon". We weren't even asked if we would like any more food or drinks. Having owned food hospitality business before, I get being under staffed can cause problems, but idly chatting to other patrons and sitting around while we were ignored made us feel very unwelcome and left without a wine taste or even an acknowledgment / friendly apology. Unfortunately our local hosts were pretty embarrassed and will take their visiting guests to wineries that want your business.
Pretty good pizza, the two wines that we did taste were average, nice views but very poor service
Unfortunately we wont be back

This has been the highlight of my trip to VIC, I really wish I spent more time exploring! It's like jumping in a time machine and going back 100 years. Beautiful and historic place to visit. I love the old buildings and that you can go inside and look at many of the interesting features. I would.

A beautiful stop off on the way back to Melbourne. Met the owner who shared that there were 160 sheep on the land. The cheese tasting was a great experience and fun activity for the family, as we voted for our family favourites. The scones were piping hot straight from the oven and the homemade plum jam was divine. Lots of wine, cheese and chopping blocks to purchase. Plenty of parking and a great indoor activity for the whole family on a rainy day.
