Conservative people beware, I did not expect so much nudity at a family beach. I could not even take pictures because there were always a topless person in the background, they were nice people but I was not comfortable. The beach is very small but water is warm and clear. Just a warning to families or conservative people like me.

We parked at Son Bou and walked the coastal path to Cala Turqueta. It took an hour or so each way but meant parking was easy. It’s a beautiful beach but was pretty busy, even in early October on a weekday.

Beautiful place to go. Try to be early (get there before 8AM) since it can be limited (mostly due to COVID measures). In high season, sometimes it can get full at 7:30. There's a small serving cafeteria at the parking with some snacks, although, bring your own is more recommended. A note on this beach: rather crowded and it smells a bit due to a mangrove at the back of the beach.

We came here on the last day of out vacation to watch the sunset (even through it was blocked by the landscape. The bad thing about this paradise is not only do you have to come here at 7 in the morning or at 6 in the afternoon, the beach is tiny!! There are two beaches, both of which are quite small which means you can only imagine how packed it is at midday when they close the parking because it's full. I recommend coming here in the late afternoon when people are getting ready to go out to dinner. Anyway, the beach was clean and there are nearby bins but (when we arrived) the water wasn't as clear as we imagined but I think that varies from day to day.

Cala en Torqueta is one of the most beautiful coves of the island, we reached it thanks to a boat excursion and we have no idea if outside the beach are available some kind of service, inside the beach there is only a lifeguard station and no more, you must have your own umbrella. The sand is white and there are lots of panoramic point where you can take photos and dive from it. This is one of the most recommended coves of the all island. You must see it.

There is 20 mins walk to the beach. The parking is free but limited to probably 200. The parking is also attended and you will be guided to the next parking spot. At the car park there is bar which sales food/snacks and drinks (Only cash though). You can also take your shower there (1€ per minute of water in a coin drop in box). It is really worth to visit it. Bear in mind if the car park is full it probably means the beach is also packed up. But the water is usually really clear and the scenery is mindblowing - Thanks god for the best there is no concrete there....

+ Beautiful range of tones and colors - Pretty famous so expect alot of people If you go by feet from Cala Galdana expect a real walk (sneakers highly advised), so don't forget to pack water 🙏🏻

Beautiful city. A bit expensive in the centre of town & of course by the harbour. The restaurants near the bus station are away from the bustle of the centre of town & cheaper. If you go by bus from the north it's more travel than sightseeing. The busses are cheap but have a lot of pick ups on route.

A Beautiful port that has amazing views & it's architecture & design is as in it's name suggests are antique. The port's surrounding areas are an eclectic mix of buildings that host businesses & housing , shops & of course the many seafood restaurants that are dotted along the port . The port has also some art & sculpture features that can be seen , tucked away in the quieter parts of the port's quarter & are worth looking out for as some are quite quirky & some are surrealistic & some are quite thought provoking , they all are quite tasteful & all add to the port's charm . The bridge at the port is an ideal place to have that special photograph taken together , for those romantic couples or just a happy memory snap , but a word of caution !! Please look out for vehicles as they also use the bridge !! . The port's well worth making the effort to see as there is so much too do here & most attractions are within walking distance & whether you like scenery , history or shopping or maybe fancy a meal at one of the many seafood restaurants then the Puerto Antiguo could be your next place visit on the beautiful island of menorca .

Lovely old traditional Spanish town, lots of nice shops,clean streets and beautiful harbour.

We enjoyed this place walked in from Cala Banes, we stopped for quite a few coffees over the week in different places all good and not expensive compared to home. Beautiful areas around the boats and the city has tiny cobblestone streets, fantastic just to see the architectural details in some buildings

Great place lots of historic buildings and a lovely market on a Saturday. Lots of bars around the bus station thats worth a visit. The gin slushy is a good drink to aid in refreshing yourself during a walk around. Definitely use the bus service its cheap clean and reliable. A great way to explore the rest of the island.

Beautiful harbour. Amazing restaurants all along one side. Lovely affordable market stalls selling jewellery and clothes . Really the place to head for when in Ciutadella.

During daytime, it’s a basic port, boats going here and there. But during night time, it becomes another world, there are shops everywhere, people walking, you can (and should) take a little ice cream to eat while walking there!

During our 2 week stay in Ciutadella we regularly enjoyed wandering around the port on our way in and out of town.

Wonderful Cathedral - a haven of peace in the midst of the city Iconic building within the old historic centre of Ciutadella. Catedral de Santa María de Ciudadela is beautiful inside and out. It is well worth buying a ticket for here and the nearby Convent De Sant Agustí de Ciutadella as well as visiting the Bishop's Garden two doors down from the Cathedral. At 7 Euros this represents great value for money and you can return usuing the ticket throughout your stay. We also opted to attend for noon mass on the Sunday morning which allowed us to join with the locals in a worship service at which two children were celebrating their first communion.

Charming town to visit. La Cuitadella de Menorca used to be the capital of the island. Lots of place to eat fresh fish.

Historic cathedral built around 1300 in Gothic style with two small towers. At night it is very nicely lit which adds to its charm. Additionally, it is probably one of the tallest buildings in the city.

Such a beautiful beach on the north of the island, with yellow and red sand. Its very quiet in the morning, I suggest to arrive there around 9am and you'll probably be alone! Parking is just 200mt from the beach.

Cala Algaiarens is a magnificent and spacious beach, perfect for daytime relaxation and activities. However, it's not the ideal spot for catching a sunset, as the sun sets early behind the mountain, obscuring the view. Morning visits are recommended for a truly scenic experience. The parking lot here is ample, ensuring convenience even during peak hours. So, if you're looking for a beautiful beach escape with plenty of space and an easy parking situation, Cala Algaiarens is a fantastic choice to enjoy the morning sun and the serene surroundings.

Beautiful white sandy beach with warm, clear, turquoise water - it really does look like the Caribbean. Busy though, like everywhere on Menorca in the high season. No amenities so remember your water bottles!

As you drive to this location, you should see indications whether it is closed (too many people) or not. There are 2-3 other beaches in the area that indicate the same. If you are able to visit this place, there is a 10 minute walk from the parking area. The beach is long but very narrow. There isn't any 'chiringuito,' so pack in snacks/drinks.

This beach controls the numbers but as the other two near were full I decided to come. I loved it as it is narrow but a long stretch so everyone is near the water . It’s shallow so great for kids and the water was lovely and clear . There was a big of seaweed at the first part but keep walking for lovely Sandy access Be careful of the seagulls - one snatched my sandwich in a dramatic way !

Son saura is one of the most beautiful coves of the island, we reached it thanks to a boat excursion and we have no idea if outside the beach are available some kind of service, is also reachable by walking 1.30 hours from Cala en Bosc beach, inside the beach you must have your own umbrella. The sand is white and there are lots of boats moored near the beach. This is one of the most recommended coves of the all island. You must see it.

Absolutely amazing sunset here! Must visit if you're on the south side of Menorca. We visited mid week to watch the sunset so had some drinks but the food that was coming out looked great so we went back at the weekend for food. Not too expensive.

Artrutx Lighthouse offers a delightful setting to enjoy coffee, beer or whatever your favourite tipple is. The lighthouse dates from the mid 1800’s & is a significant landmark on the landscape. You can dine in the large outdoor dinning area, which offers fantastic seascape views, the menu is varied & offers a great choice. The staff are friendly , accommodating & I would highly recommend you to visit.

Wonderful location for a drink as the sun goes down. On entry you pay 10 Euro each and that gives you a drink voucher for a drink at the bar. Music was playing through outdoor speakers but nothing offensive or too loud. Great atmosphere and a real find.

We went towards the end of the holiday season (mid September) and it was lovely. There's a side for dining and a side for drinks only. All buggy accessible and suitable for children. Lots of seating with stunning views all the way around the coast. Jugs of the best tasting sangria I've ever had were €20 and we got 2 large glasses each, between 3 of us. The soft drinks were fairly expensive at €7 for a small apple or orange juice. Worth it for the views and relaxing atmosphere though. Friendly service, lots of parking if you drive there and good toilet facility. We walked there and the roads are pedestrian friendly, very little road traffic and lots of pavement.

A lovely beach. Beautiful water, but there were some jelly fish. Quite small. From the parking it took us approx. 40min the long way around the shore. If you go thought the “forest”, it will be much faster.

A long way along the stony path and shruby woods. Quiet with no facilities. Sand and sea. The wood are Medditeranean pine. Cool and sheltering from the sun. There is a bit of natural shade from the rocks.

It is mind blowing, it's a trek (30 min) but it's well worth it! While you are walking there's a point of incredible peace. You see the ocean but you can barely hear it, it's like a murmur. So relaxing! Take your time and take it all in. The beach is clear, the sand is soft and is not too deep. Incredible, just incredible.

Beautiful beach! Nudist if your interested, but well worth the hike, beware in summer months because it is sure to be packed!! Bring water, and a snack, no facilities and no life gaurd. Great in off season or an early swim.

Sleepy coastal small town. Appears to be in the process of being developed into a pretty nice and exclusive resort, with new roads, white washed houses and a few restaurants. Doesn't appear much going on here but there is a small beach, some restaurants and the bronze age necropolis caves. There is a bus to here from Ciutadella, so it is accessible by public transport. Also on the Cami de Cavalls coastal walk.

Stunning place, worthy to see but beware the heat if you're coming during summer! A great discovery for our first day on the island, we took a bit more than an hour but you can take as long as you want, it's so interesting to get lost between the stone and the vegetation (+1 for a very friendly cat that we met)... Parents know that your kid may wander but don't worry everyone seems to get lost at some point here (I think it's part of the experiment)... we loved the great labyrinth and it's very poetic message, would visit again and again!

Curious place though expensive in my opinion - 12€. At some routes I enjoyed more vegetation rather than rock views. Many of these rocks have been used in construction of the island.

Utterly stunning reclamation from industrial wasteland into a place of beauty and tranquility. This was a 45 minute walk out of town from our hotel, but well worth it. It is difficult to explain how wonderful the transformation has been at this site. Formerly a disused limestone quarry, which since 1994 has been turned into a large series of gardens in a labyrinth of quarried stone.

An amazing place to explore if you have a lot of time on your hand. If you are in rush just skip this place as hands down it’s going take at least 2 hours out of your schedule. This place has an amazing maze, beautiful gardens, and some classic vintage work. The entry was around 7 euros i.e 5 pounds for adults, it’s a little cheaper for senior citizens. Parking is free and they have 2 sides on the left and right of the entrance where you can park. Be extra careful if your taking your pets along with as the pathways are very narrow and you may come across alot of tourists and watch out for wasps.

Hard to find you need a hire car etc They had no Internet when we went so take euros. Takes around an hour to go round. Very good.

It's a limestone quarry of the old days, and kept in wonderful shape to continue and preserve the experience. It is a walk of about an hour or longer depending on how often you take the time to make use of the panorama view points along the route and alternative side options along the way. The quarry is something you will not easily encounter anywhere else, certainly not in the immensity and impressive sight you have here. Worth a visit or detour when on Menorca! On sunny days protect yourself from the sun, but there are sites under the trees while walking the tour. There are cold drinks to take away at the reception.

Cool place to explore whilst we were in the area, you don't realise how big the area is until your there! Great place for photos! The only downfall was along some paths we suddenly came across about 2 wasp nests which you had to walk within a meter of to get through. But the gardens were lovely and there's so many little hidden nooks to explore- you could definitely get lost here of you had a lot of time to kill! It was lovely!

This is an amazing hidden gem. I was really in awe of the extent that this old quarry has been transformed into something quite beautiful. The different gardens and natural features were breathtaking. We went with a 6y and 1y old and it was fine with a buggy and enough to explore for the elder child. There are plenty of shady spots but do take plenty to drink on a hot day. Children under 12 are free too which was a bonus

A must when you visit Menorca, there is an entrance fee (7euros) and please check their visiting hours before visit. You'll be provided with a map of the site so you can easily navigate the site. A maze at the bottom of the quarry which was amazing. You'll spend a minimum of 1hour wondering this site. Enjoy!

Cool to see the pre-roman Taliotic history of Menorca. This burial site is between 3/4 thousand years old and is worth a visit if passing, the signs give great detail about the site. Also worth noting that a visit on a Monday or Tuesday is free (otherwise €2).

The most disappointing historical site we visited in 2 weeks and it cost 2 euros. Only thing here is a rebuilt tomb (locked) and a ticket office. Way better things to see for free.

Large stone tomb from about 1400bc which has been renovated but still really impressive. 2€ each so well worth it. Easily accessible from the main Mahón to Ciutadella road.

45 min walk from the parking lot. Nice trail but difficult during hot days. On the way back be prepared for stairs and some climbing. No restaurant/bar etc in the parking lot or on the beach. Bring water, food and whatever else you need.

Yes there is a narrow road and a 2km+ walk along a pine and shrubbed pathway to a lovely rugged ocean view before the beach and a perfect swim. Mixed crowd including naturists. Beats Cala Morell.

This was one of my favorite beaches! You must walk 30 min to reach it!

I have given the beach a average rating as we could not get to the area as the road was closed due to road works. The problem was we had already driven some distance and couldn't be bothered to take another route. We did hear it's the best beach to visit on the island but we didn't get chance to see it

A nice spot and viewpoint, after you drive a long straight road, up to mid point, there is no entry of the car. So have to park the car at the car park and then walk around 10-15mins to the entrance of the lighthouse. The gate closes.

Pretty remote location, you drive a few kilometers on a narrow road and then have to walk another 1000 meters before you get to the lighthouse, which doesn't seem to be open to the public. Climbing over a wall you can walk around it to the cliffs, where you are rewarded with stunning views of the coast line and the sea.

Just under 1 mile walk from the car park to the lighthouse, which has a wall round it. Fortified buildings close by look like gun posts. Surrounding area is very rocky with no trees. Saw loads of wildlife, including peregrines, kites, stone curlew & lizards.

Elegant location with some knockout sunset spectacles. This lighthouse is secured and does not permit public to enter through however there is a pathway just besides the lighthouse walls that you have crawl/hop onto if you want to explore more.(it’ll be worth it) The way to get to this place is to walk a good 20-30 mins walk from the car park, the footpath is good and at the car park you will find ample of place to park. Parking is free.

Lovely spot to watch sunset. However be prepared for it being busy,the car park being full (park on road) and a 1km walk from the carpark.

The lighthouse is quite ugly, and it is far away, first by car and then walking 1 km. To sum up, you can see the same gorgeous sunsets from many others more accessible points.

We adventure there from Cala Santandría with bikes on a pretty windy day, and survived!! Once you get there it looked closed but you can just jump around it, not getting inside the perimeter of the lighthouse itself. The rocky built of the cliffs are stunning, and the windy day gave us a breathtaking experience with the waves crushing on the rocks. It was magical.

Drop the car at the carpark and walk the last few hundred metres to the lighthouse. No access to it but you can walk around it and it's spectacular setting.

Fascinating place . Well worth a visit . Not good for anyone with mobility issues .Narrow paths and steep steps. Parking near by probably will be an issue but there's a carpark at the top of the hill before the road down to the site.

These caves are steeped in history and are a delight to see. It would be much better if there were more information boards outside each cave. Non the less, a nice walk and the kids get to climb!

(Translated by Google) Special walk. Beautiful open caves, strange idea that they were tombs dating from 1600 BC. You can get in straight away, without entrance tickets, which is also special.

Fasinating burial Chambers, its amazing to think how these massive caves were dug out of the rocks thousands of years ago. Lots to see and you can go into the caves to explore and a couple have amazing views out to sea. Highly recommend if your in the area.

The best Menorcan historical site we’ve seen. Very easy access. Well worth a visit followed by coffee and beer at Ivette’s overlooking the bay. Beautiful!!

Worth a visit but parking is a bit difficult. Free of charge.

Was really surprised with how much there was to see her, and all for free!! This would never happen in the UK! There is parking on the road and you just walk through the gates and then you can just wander where you want. Everything is open, no restrictions or safety barriers. The caves and tombs are remarkable, to think they are over 1500 years old! We spent a good hour there. Well worth a visit and then head down to La Morrell beach and have a swim!

More attractive for being a historical place than for the place itself. It's very small and bad conservated. Be careful with the wrong way and always follow the arrow.

Archeological site in the middle of a tourist town. Nicely preserved. Will take only 15 minutes to see all, but if you are there anyway...

This was the start to visiting la Cuitadella. Interesting building with nice spots to sit down and watch the sea. You can walk up to the Cuitadella and admire the houses and boats on the way.

Nice tower with a view to Mallorca. Worth stopping by.

Looks like its had a lot of renovation over time, but interesting to spend time there. Information boards telling the history on ground floor, narrow spiral stone steps takes you to the battlements. Far reaching views of ferry terminal and beyond,nice spot to view boat sailing into Ciutadella.

Excellent little cave down behind the building. It wasn't open when we visited. But still a nice little trip.

Really pretty. Nice to watch the ships on the bay, watchin the tide roll away.

We took a gentle post dinner walk from the hotel out to the Castle. Wide flat boulevard shared with a cycle path. The route continues around the headland and into the Port area. Well lit at night.

Very nice little castle with nice walk around and views of the harbour and coast, however it was closed when we went, so couldn't visit it/see it properly, therefore the only 3 star rating.

Little defensive tower on the cliff side build in 17th-century. At night it's very nicelly lit and acts as a great vantage point during the sunset. The place is located very close to the city center, literally several minutes on foot.

Maybe Castle is a big word for it but it is nonetheless a great monument to see. Built in the top of the cliff, with a bridge and a water channel this 17th century fort is a nice place to go when walking through the coast line of Ciutadella.
