The overall experience was great. Me and my family enjoyed a lot. Attractions - 8/10 - The air-condition was great on all of the attractions I've been on. The issue I noticed are: some parts are empty or under maintenance; long queue; QR code scanning is a bit of hassle. Signs and Directions - 7/10 - They can improve more on this part. There a lot of confusing arrows and one might get lost. Food - 7/10 - I only liked few of the food stalls they have inside. I hope they offer more. Hope they have water fountains as well since visitors might get exhausted from walking. Parking 9/10 - We went on a Sunday, we were expecting a crowded parking space but we were able to find one quickly.

Online ticketing was easy and entry at the ocean park was easy with pre-booked tickets. The whole place is hot as if it doesn't have AC, most of the attractions are not what I remember when I visit a few years ago, it's so bad now. The sea lion and bird shows were interesting and entertaining but short and the audio was really bad, you could barely understand the host. The place is huge, there's so much to improve in the place hoping the management will consider maintaining and enlivening the place to make the price worthy. I think it's time to have a major cleanup to have its glory back. Overall, it's only worth it if you have small kids who will not nitpick and instead will really get excited with the animals.

The Oceanarium, located inside Manila Ocean Park, is home to 14,000 fishes which are around 277 species, all found in the Philippines and Southeast Asia. It is one of the world's best public aquariums. The Oceanarium is a stunning walkthrough of the ocean featuring seven sections and containing 3,000 cubic meters of seawater. At the center of a 55-meter journey is the main attraction - a 220° curved walkway tunnel with a spectacular underwater view of amazing sea creatures swimming overhead. The water source for the Oceanarium is filtered water from Manila Bay. A special process is done to ensure that the seawater is suitable for marine life. It has an educational activity area, unique function rooms for special events and bi-level shark and stingray viewing facilities.

Place is well maintained. My kids had fun. Lots of animals. Very very kid friendly. Lots of fish! Lots of food options inside also. We spent a good 3-4 hours here.

Buying tickets in advance saves you a little. You can only go to one attraction once. They will also measure your kids and two feet and above, regardless of age, will be charged. I guess they should also consider age like two or one and below should automatically be free of charge. I brought my infant daughter who appeared tall and they want her to stand up so she can be measured. Can't blame them as most people who go there are families with small children. Such a bad way to earn more money. Well, they need the money as the place needs more attractions and you have to temper your expectations. Still, a good place to visit with your family.

3rd time visiting. What happened to this place? Looks poorly maintained now and it was so hot in some areas. Corals are in a poor condition, they were actually painted, crazy! Glass is full of scratches, making it hard to see. It wasn’t this bad the last time I visited. Only thing I liked about this is the jellyfish show thingamajig. Not a lot of food choices. But I’m sure kids will enjoy it.

The place is clean and well maintained. I do hope all the animals here are well and taken care of. Many things to explore on this trip. Also the sea lions moved me. They are so cute and witty.

Unfortunately, about half of the attractions are closed when we visited, most probably because of the pandemic impact. The theme park has a potential to be the top go-to place for fun and enjoyment. Sadly, there are parts that aren’t well maintained. For the shows, I wish they don’t let guests enter the venue once the show starts as it causes distractions. Regardless, I’m amazed by their set of animals. I hope the management takes great care of them.

For us, Manila Ocean Park is a great place for families. To bond, to take photos and to enjoy seeing aquatic animals, they also have repltiles, spiders and snakes. When we went here last December 2021, there are lot of people but the safety protocol were followed within the area, also, December is discount month :). I really enjoyed the fishes small and large.

Underwhelming I had an online deal which is ₽650 and was very excited but left with disappointment. I visited on a public holiday and there were A LOT OF KIDS, that's not the problem, it's the ventilation. The aquariums are decent, but after that, I got splashed with cold water since all my excitement got drained down by the underwhelming attractions. The penguin attraction is cute but the glass is foggy with scratches from inside and outside. Sad. Was really hoping for this one to be good, but it just seems that the whole place needs a revamp and better maintenance.

The experience during our visit was okay. So many people coming in and out. I had fun watching the bird and sealion show. However, there are some areas that were under maintenance like the shark diving. For the Penguin area, the line to get up close to them was too long. Also there's a room that supposed to be like a snow or winter area but there's no real snow or real ice sculptures - all fake and plastic. All in all, the experience was okay. So many areas that need to be improve on.

Honest Review: Animals - 10/5, we really enjoyed the bird and sea lion show. Please take care of these lovely animals. Other attractions - 2/5, it’s like an abandoned park. The aquariums weren’t maintained very well. The other attraction with the superman is like very old. The ticketing svck, 0/5 they asked to pay 750 ticket for a baby who slept most of the time because the height is 2 feet, regardless of age — what kind of management do they have. I could see some foreigners visiting this park, it was a huge disappointment. I feel bad for the animals and the caretakers. They deserve better.

All kinds of different pretty fish with funny faces! And some other friends as well. :) As a Serbian, I've never seen most of these on video, much less in-person. I was simply amazed with the beauty of life at every step of the way! Even though it was fairly crowded, with a lot of kids running around and pressing their faces on the aquariums, I didn't feel like it was overwhelming. I could get a good view of everything without a problem. People were courteous and let each other have some alone time for photos and videos, or just for the viewing enjoyment. Waiting lines for buying tickets and entering different areas were minimal. As for non-attraction facilities, there's a food court and food stalls scattered around. There's also a toy shop. Don't worry, these aren't in areas where our water buddies are. ;) It takes about an hour and a half to two hours to get through the park if you want to take a good look at everything there is to see. So go, have a nice stroll, absorb the ocean's bounty, and return as a richer person!

The aquariums and the shows were the best part of visiting Manila Ocean Park. There was a wide collection of fish that seemed to be healthy. All the aquariums were clean and appeared to be properly maintained. Albeit some of them seem cramp, as I saw a few of the bigger fish swimming in fast circles around the perimeter of the aquarium. There was an owl in the Creepy Crawlies section that had a too small enclosure. It made me and my companion sad to see it in those conditions. The reptiles and arachnids also had small terariums. We sped through Creepy Crawlies because the animals looked sad in their too small spaces. They look weird, sure, but they're still animals! The show was entertaining. The birds only did 1-3 tricks each, but if you sit in the proper spot (leftside of the bleachers if facing the stage) then you can get the experience of the birds flying close to you. The sea lions were wonderfully trained, showing off dancing, swimming and retrieving balls during their part of the show. The trainers were also pretty good. I've been wanting to visit Manila Ocean Park since moving to Manila, but I was deterred by the price, the distance and the crowds. I would say it was nice as a novel experience. During my visit, it was Holy Week. There was a lot of people there. Mostly, the guest behaved orderly so it wasn't an issue. If there were rowdy people though, it would have potentially been problematic because most of the rooms didn't have an usher, a guard or a staff member to intervene.

Parking is short walk from the entrance. Buying tickets from Klook let's you skip the queues. Better to go on weekdays as there is probably less people. Overall really fun especially if you have little kids with you. Would recommend seeing the earliest show as when it gets too hot you cannot sit close to the front and you would be occupying the furthest seats due to the sun. Has lot of stores (toys/food etc) inside and some on the outside as well.

A good place to visit. Fun and educational. We're really excited to see marine life, specially the sharks. The whole park seems gloomy though, and there's definitely a lot of things to improve. I do hope they're taking good care of the animals.

I'm normally a food reviewer but because the experience was nice, here I am. There is a Bird and sea lion show every 12:30pm which I truly enjoyed. The kid in me was in awe in seeing the Birds of prey fly over us as part of the show. Also, the performance of the sea lions were astonishing. They have a variety of animals inside as well including snakes, spiders, lizards, turtles, fishes, and penguins. Though the sightings were nice, the restaurants inside were expensive for its quality. Better to eat before you go in. Took us half a day to finish the park

Bit crowded when we came, but my little brother's had a great time seeing lots of animals that they usually see on screen. The highlights of our visit was the bird and sea lion performance. Best to take kids there if you want to give them some time off in gadgets.

I really loved the park, there is lots to see and even an aquarium where you can put your hand in the water to let the fish touch you. Unfortunately I missed the sea lion and bird show due to rain, but I'm not complaining about that The pictures that get taken by the employees are of affordable price for everyone and of high resolution. Besides that you get a printed version and can get a digital version via a site, which is awesome. It takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to see and do everything, but I just wish there was a little bit more to see. They earned the 4 stars without a doubt .

My son's Birthday wish is to be here, since we had great stories and photos we told him about this place on our previous visits. To our surprise, there a lot of attractions that is close, open attractions are accessible though it's obvious that there are a lot of ongoing repairs. It might be better to close the site for a while and finished renovating. This should be our son's memorable birthday turned to disappointment.

We went there for my son's birthday and we had an amazing day. It was worth the price. We used klook app to buy tickets ahead of time so we don't need to line up at their ticet booth. I also got it at a discounted price. 😁

Manila Ocean Park is a great mid-sized Aquarium. It has many exhibits of wonderful sea life, a beautiful rain forest, and a penguin exhibit where you can have you picture taken inside their habitat room. In addition, you can view a beautiful jelly fish exhibit, and a "Creepy Crawlies" exhibit with snakes, spiders, lizards and more. To finish the day, we enjoyed an outside show with trained exotic birds and sea lions. It was an all-around fantastic day.

We had a thrilling experience with my family when we went here for our vacation! It was such a great experience seeing all the different types of marine life that they are displaying here. A bit pricey but we all know it is expensive to maintain a marine ecosystem as expansive as this. Hope you can visit this place while it has a discounted price! You won't regret it honestly.

A friend and I went to this place to beat the heat. For about 750 pesos you get to see six exhibits. The aquarium was pretty good, one of the better ones that I've probably been to. The rest of the stuff is definitely geared to kids. They had one section where you can feed penguins, a Christmas section, a room where it looks like they filled lava lamps with jellyfish, and a room with a bunch of creepy crawly things aka snakes and lizards and spiders.

It may not be as grand as the ones abroad but this place is still a must visit for families if you are in Metro Manila. We were impressed by their birds show and the reptiles we saw were beautiful! Crowded but the place can handle it :)

Visited Manila Ocean Park nearing its closing time, so really glad that we have this ocean park by ourselves. But there's some disappointment, the staff near big aquarium holding camera (I think their job is to get a picture of us, so we can buy it later at the exit gate) is totally disrespectful and disturbing our moment by intentionally standing right in the middle (so they're totally in the picture that we snap). Hopefully they could trained their staffs to be better. Other than 2 individuals, other staffs is really nice and let us enjoy our time there. Their collections is very little compared to another aquarium in another ASEAN countries that I've visited. However, it's still a pleasant experience visiting Manila Ocean Park.

We came here during the weekday to avoid the crowd. There are 7-8 different theme “rooms” or categories like creepy crawlies,christmas village,and others that is included in the ticket. Unfortunately we were not able to watch the bird and dolphin show cause it’s just 2x a day like 12:30 & 16:30. Since we finished the tour around 3pm, we opted to skip the show because we don’t want to wait that long. So check the schedule before comming. Recommended for families with small kiddos.

This was so much fun I won't lie. It's a lot smaller than the aquariums back in the USA. But they really put on a good show. The seal show was amazing. I also paid extra to feed the penguins. We didn't eat wile we were there. So I couldn't speak about the price of food. But the hole exspirence was one to remember. I brought my new wife there she loved it. Great for couples an kids this place impressed me. I was so in love with the hudge fish tank. You walk under it made for some amazing pictures 🥰

It was a very nice and spacious park. The breeze coming from Manila bay keeps your mood cool even in a hot sunny day. At night, the dancing fountain entertains the visitors. A lot of historical attractions and monuments can be found and take photos here. This park is both relaxing and informative It is perfect for educational field trip, family bondings, and soul searching.

This is a very memorial palace for the history of the Philippines. A very must visit place for every Filipino. Since it is my first time visiting here I am already amazed with the view. Very historic place and it didn't fail to emphasize the history of the Philippines which is the essence of having a historical park. In weekdays we can really enjoy the place since there are only few people walking around, but on weekends I think there will be more people. I love the availability of alcohols in every corner which are important to maintain health protocols. The place is well guarded and it is nice to see post guard standing besides the monument. The park is clean and well maintained, you can also grab some foods in the stores located outside the park. You have a flexible budget you can hire authorized photographer in the area, they are very friendly and capture nice photo of you. Please be reminded that you should keep off the grass and careful not to damage any sculptures. I hope you will visit the place and support our local historic sites, vendors and business enterprise. If you are concerned if there is any restroom, I don't know but I think there is, you can just ask the guard or other tourists.

A large clean park in the centre of the city which offers a great location to escape the bustle and noise of the city. There’s plenty of seating throughout and lots of things to admire, from the main monument to the Chinese garden and market stalls. Covid restrictions mean you can only enter / exit through designated gates, with the need to have your temperature checked, but it’s no hassle and certainly a place I’d recommend wandering through on a visit to the city.

A very beautiful park. With some lovely views and stunning fountain. It was very enjoyable to walk around. There are some food stands close by Rizal monument and some beautiful side parks. Great place to have a small picnic with friends and/or family. Please clean up after yourself. Also there are horse and carriage rides to other places like Manila beach. Take your time when you are at the park and enjoy the view.

Lots of trash bins so it's easy to dispose of waste. You can bring food and have a picnic. It's hot though so better go there at night and enjoy the light show. There are a lot of food vendors but I recommend bringing your own food and drinks. Not a lot of things you can do though. The gardens have entrance fees.

One of the country's historical place in the city. Beautiful sculptures, gardens, and a nice sight for families' or friends' picnic and bonding. Though lots of people went here and it's in the city, it's a serene and calm place to be. Aside from this, there's a lovely musical dancing fountain everyone can enjoy to watch.

A beautiful space dedicated to the Philippines' national hero, Jose Rizal. As a Filipino, I felt compelled to come learn and pay my respects to Tito Juan, a man who sacrificed everything for the freedom of his countryman and the love of the land his blood comes from. There is his monument and the space where he was executed, both places serve as reflective points. Then there are other parts like the dancing fountain, Chinese and Japanese gardens, and a LACMA light pole installation. It makes it nice for people come to to and enjoy the space and I'm grateful they don't interfere with the area which honors Tito Juan. For Filipinos, it's a must come. For everyone, please enjoy all this space has to offer!

Beautiful public park. It is also the largest public park in the whole metropolis. It is the burial site of one of the nation's most famous heroes, Dr. Jose Rizal. It is an open space with lots of trees and green areas with some features such as the largest relief map of the Philippines, national museums, library, gardens, monuments, fountains, statues, etc. The "kilometer zero" marker is also found here.

Nice area to stroll, away from traffic. Eat lunch. Ideal for families. Plenty of seating areas with some shade. Theme of park is independence and freedom fighters. Music played throughout park via speakers

I really wanted to go at night to see the lights/music shoe at the fountain but unfortunately we finished this area earlier in the day and it wasn’t worth going back just for that. It looks neat from what I have seen though. The park itself is nice and spacious so therefore relaxing.

Such a nice place to visit in Metro Manila, a place full of Philippine history. The last days of Rizal's life were preserved beautifully; a place of learning and reflection of the Philippines great history and culture. Best to visit in the afternoon since the view of sunset there is superb and you can feel the solemnity of the place.

Entrance fee is only 75pesos and you get to roam around and feel this historic place, the area has museum too. I suggest going there before sun set. Check the place then watch the sunset

I enjoyed our visit to this historic place in Manila. Great to see Jose Rizal’s (National Hero of the Philippines) shrine and museum. Entry fee to Fort Santiago is 75PHP which is around 1.35 USD. They accept cash only. It’s a huge compound to walk around. At the back of the complex, you can go and check out beautiful river view. Most of place doesn’t have a shade and it was hot, please bring a hat. :)

This historical park is located across the square from the Cathedral. It is one of the few large green spaces I have noticed in Manila. The Rizal Shrine and museum, is well worth a visit. There are several small restaurants, or really snack places, along with gift shops, within the park. This park is a nice escape from the hustle and bussel of Manila.

It's like a walk in the past though there are a few spaces that they already closed, like tunnels. But Fort Santiago is really nice, a few museums inside. There are benches you can idly sit by to adore the place. Though bring water with you. Wear mask and keep safe.

We had our first visit and we really enjoyed it. It is the best place to visit if you are a history buff. It offers historical insights and you can see so many really cool things. Give yourself at least about 2 hours to be able to see everything. Visiting Fort Santiago is like going through the different phases of Philippine history. Just enjoy walking around with friends or family and not necessary to book a tour.

One of the sites that you shouldn’t miss when you’re visiting Intramorus. The place gives a unique experience of history. Several sections were closed that day, maybe because of the rain. There are areas that are slippery too.

Good preserve historical place, try to visit at sunny day, plenty of spots to take insta pic. There is a dungeon you can visit! It attach to a golf course. There are some cafes in the area where u can rest, or visit if rain.

This was a really fun experience for me, due to the fact I have been to similar forts such as Castillo San Marcos located at St.Augustine FL. This was just another amazing piece of history that I was so lucky to visit, and even has deep roots of Philippine history with their national hero Rizal. While this place is a pact with such history, a lot of dark history. Which is mentioned, but not to full detail, in which some of that history is pretty deep. Which I get it, some of the pictures alone, especially those in the dungeon are rough to see. But it's incredible, and to me one of the must sees if you are coming out to visit. Yes there is a small price to pay to see it, but it’s definitely worth it.

Bit disappointed by our visit there. I can understand Filipinos being captivated by the history, but for me it just didn’t live up to expectations as there wasn’t a lot of interesting things to see. Didn’t expect to see modern girders holding up a number of walls. In fact the highlights for me were watching some Tik Tok videos, the bridge over the water and a few attractive trees. Probably better to visit in the evening and get more atmosphere with the lighting. 75 pesos entry fee and an optional tour for 1000 pesos. A discount can be negotiated when the fort is not busy.

Visited Fort Santiago on a Saturday. It costs 75 pesos per person; 50 pesos for senior citizens. Not a long wait, however, you may get approached by vendors in line offering a guide service. So, if you require one at the last minute, that’s available. The complex is large and you can wander at your leisure. Lots of spaces to explore and lots of history to learn - the constant struggle for independence, destruction of the city and atrocities. Located right in the city centre and next to the river. You can get something to eat and drink by the entrance and a map from the information centre. Value for money.

It’s an historical monument! Good informative signage in English and Tagalog. You can pay 75 pesos for a tour guide but I self guided. Is situated as part Intramuros a must see!

Last year I went here twice! Last July and last December. Last July was pure photo shooting. Last December, there was a fund raising and we got a tour guide explaining and telling stories about things around Fort Santiago. Aside from the nice view and spacious venue, there are things that are preserved well that tell stories. Also, the guards wore the old type of guardia civil uniforms, they are refreshing to see!🤩 There is so much stories to tell. I hope Fort Santiago will be one of the tool in learning our History, students will also enjoy while learning.🤘

Great historical Manila landmark The grounds and fort open at 9 am. Allow 1- 2 hours Entrance fee is a reasonable 70 pesos , 50 for seniors and disabled. Grounds are expansive and situated along the river. There are plentiful signs and placards 🪧 with give brief explanations of the various sights on the Fort Santiago grounds. Grounds are well cared for by attendants. The fort complex is located in central Manila and is about a 45 minute taxi ride from the airport which should run about 300 to 500 pesos ( depending on your negotiation skills ). Restrooms are limited. Handicap ♿️ doable but there are several places where stairs are optional. There are pedicabs and horse carriages available for hire. Guides are available. Parking can be a challenge. Final take....recommended

It was good, paying for the entrance though wasn't too good at all. I understand that they need funds for the upkeep of the place, but I think the government should be handling that stuff. It can be crowded during Sundays (we went there on Sunday), but it was still manageable. The place was overall good and beautiful. I defo recommend it for people who have an interest in Philippine history.

When visiting Manila, I would recommend going to the Fort to ensure that you get some historical background in Manila. This also give you some history and perspective of why the Philippines 🇵🇭 are like they are and how Philippines culture was made up from!

Fort Santiago is the unmissable part of intramuros, It's a good experience to walk among the ruins while learning about the local history, especially of Jose Rizal. The park is well made and has a few stores and cafés. I hope they continue to improve and do their best to preserve and restore as much as they can. PS: Waiting time might be long during busy days, so I advise you to buy tickets in advance if you can.

Visited last feb 3 2024 fort Santiago's staffs allowed our daughter to get discount even they dont have their ids with them. friendly staff😊 super clean tourist attractions in manila you must visit😍 The best time to visit the site is early 8am. parking was full after we finish to walk around the fort. Gladly there was a valley parking staff to attend us. and we got out easily in the parking without paging the car owners who park late to us.

Great and humbling place to be. It is amazing to to see what humans are capable of. They but an amazing structure with limited tools and a ton of hard work. There is also a lot tragity that took place here that is important to never forget. That is one of the things thst keeps us in check with our own ideas belifes of what right and wrong is. Without these events being keep alive in our memory we could be tempted to make similar dicisions. Even in our small lives we could be tempted to abandon our selves or others to runin not fully m understanding the consequrnces of our actions. We do not have tobtake the life of another person to leave a lasting imprent in their lives. I pray that that empression may always be a good one.

Great historical site do visit in Manila but unless you have a great interest in history it is not a must. The highlight is the gate which is always full of people around. Entrance fee is 75pesos and there is a free map after entrance.

At this Fort we Will have the experience of before the independence day of Philippines through history, this fort according to the Tour guide is the most used by the occupier (Spanish, Japan and America) and now were rebuild a few building like the real conditions by the government. We Will run into the cave place where the prior people of Philippines fight their freedom and let their life lost in the cave when the river water flood the cave.

One of the tourists attractions in Manila that located in Intramuros area. Totally love the architecture of this fort. Fort Santiago basically full of historical buildings in one area, there's many remains old buildings that really beautiful and maybe usually used as photography object. I visited during evening till nighttime (since going there on hot sunny afternoon is basically burning yourself alive). Totally love the experience and definitely recommend this place to be visited while in Manila.

A very well maintained historical place. There are battle scars of artillery fire on many of the walls One section of buildings has been left as is for people to see the damage from the battles. There is a very moving dungeon display. You can hire a guide for 1000 PHP after the ticket office if you wish. There is an information centre where you can watch an 8 minute video about the history of the place. The fort was built during the Spanish occupation era. There is a row of food and drinks stalls and gift shops next to the information centre which is to the left after you enter. Toilets are located near the entrance and further in. The second one is new and in better condition.

Well maintained place and affordable entrance fee since there's a student discount. The infrastructures a well preserved and some of them are structurally enhanced for safety since all of them are decades old. Lots to learn historically.

An amazing and peaceful place inside the city walls. Almost across the cathedral it has paid entrance.  Be advice that they don't accept card or foreign money. Don't be fooled by the guard at the entrance.  He offered to pay the entrance with local money but charged us 4 times more in dollars than the real cost The entrance is around 1,5 dollars per person. Inside you will visit several buildings dating the 18th century, such as the iconic gate of the Fort, and areas dedicated to the national hero Jose Rizal. What impressed me the most were the dungeons.  They were used back in the time of the Spanish and Japanese occupation. Most of the city buildings were destroyed by the end of World War II and inumerous civilians died in the dungeons. You will have amazing views of the old and new parts of the city.  There are small cafés and gift shops (not expensive) inside and also bathrooms. Totally worth the visit.

As local traveler who is an enjoyer of anything related to Philippine history (or at least the places i visit), i am rating this 5 out of 5. Although i would want to cone visit here again soon, by myself, so theres no pressure of me getting to know each area and reading things that happened on that exact area years ago. I was with friends and family during my visit and i honestly enjoyed it still. But it was more on strolling rather than truly understanding and learning new (old) things. You pay 75 for entry (regular) and 50 for students/seniors. The fort has restaurants/snack shops inside. My cousin says they have good mango shake. You can play at the grounds, have picnics and just bond with your loved ones. Theres also guys who plays acapella in front. Its your choice if you wanna give cash or not. Guided tours are also available, it says you can book via klook in advance. Around the back part of the fort, the pasig river view is waiting for you

Very large and historical place to visit. Entry is cheap and quick. The site is very large so there is no crowding whatsoever. There is a lot of great history about Jose Rizal and Manila in the fort. After you enter there are a few shops selling souvenirs and refreshments that are comfortable and fairly priced. There is an interesting Lego exhibit of the old churches and buildings that used to be in Manila that were most destroyed by the Japanese when they invaded. There is also access to the prison where many people died and a mass grave so be respectful when in those areas. (There is signage to remind you) I spent about three hours here and loved every inch of it.

Arguably the most important place in Filipino history. Definitely worth going here if are a tourist visiting the Philippines and a must go to place for any local.

Love the atmosphere. This place is itself a story and you get more tempted to know by just viewing the amazing architecture of old times. The construction is strong and untouched. It's just like a beautiful Maze , you just wanna get lost in it. The cafe and surrounding are amazing to get into the groove and make the best memories out of it

This is one of the most beautiful Baroque churches in the Philippines. The façade looks quite ancient, but the interior is gorgeous decorated with chandeliers and sculpted details. The church is free entrance, and the monastery/museum requires tickets. There are plenty of antique objects displayed at the monastery

I really intended to spend at least half of my day just indulging at the sight of this baroque UNESCO heritage site. The architecture of the church and the museum is A SIGHT TO BEHOLD. My visit and the experience was ALL WORTH IT!!!

This has to be one of the hidden gems of the City of Manila. If you are within the vicinity of Intramuros and routinely tour cathedrals then do yourself a favor and visit here. We spent a few hours only, but could have spent longer. Note that it is usually the host of several weddings, and can be very busy. There is limited street parking, but you might have to walk a short distance. The facility is home to some very significant local biblical artifacts. The compound is well maintained and beautiful to walk through. There are several flights of stairs to navigate however, so it is not wheelchair friendly it appears. The roof of the cathedral is not painted, however it is quite ornate. A fantastic organ can also be viewed as well. Stained glass in places as well. The general condition of the art on display is fairly outstanding. Next door is a historic government residence, which also has downstairs rooms occupied by a restaurant.

Historic church at the heart of Intramuros grounds. A very functional church to this date where you might come across weddings and ceremonies. Around the Intramuros area: Beware of beggars and mendicants, and please do not give any kind of money. Parking around the area is more expensive than usual at 100 pesos flat rate. Be careful of flagging down vehicles or horse carts. Be sure to get one that is authorized by the Philippine tourism authority . You will know as they will have valid identifications. An old Catholic Church where we witnessed Chinese weddings one after another ceremonies. A lot of foreigners visit the site. There are banchettos or food stalls on the left side of the street heading to Manila Cathedral Church. It is also facing Barbara's Restaurant, a few blocks away from the Ruins of Intramuros and Fort Santiago. If you want to experience horse riding carriages or the kalesa, the ride costs ₱1,000 for 7 to 8 persons (3 kids 4 adults & kutsero). It goes around the Manila historical spots mentioned above for 1 hour. It's a different rate to go around Manila City Hall, National Museum and Rizal Park. To date, 19th February 2024.

The church has an amazing history and terrific architecture. Don't pass the museum by next door. Adults 200p and worth every peso. Have Inc some pics. You can get into the other parts of the church via museum. But ask if a wedding service or event is taking place while you are there because they will close church off at this time.

It was my first time to visit the place. I'm amazed and more so impressed by how it actually looks like. Contrary to the negative reviews, na-appreciate ko s'ya. Though sarado para sa publiko when I went there, na-enjoy ko naman ang pagsilip sa sunset along the bay. Ganda.

It is cleaner now than it was in the past but because people have gathered here a lot and the public toilets were closed, the situation is not pleasant. I don’t understand how they can put tons of money on it, built new toilets even with air cons and then let them go broken! It seems it was months already but nobody cares to fix it. Otherwise, the sunset is still the same, beautiful. Only the perfect serene picture is messed up by the Manila này reclamation ships. Is it worth going here? No more than before.

I don't recommend it for tourists. There are other far nicer beaches than this artificially sanded one. The place is always maintained with crews of sweepers and strict regulation of bringing plastic bottles inside. The place has always been a beautiful site for sunset watching except it's now cleaner and without smell. The view of the ongoing reclamation is somehow nice to look at. Also, there's a dude doing magic shows near the exit gate.

Kudos to the government for their efforts even if it's surrounded by controversy. The place is clean and orderly. There are no benches to sit down on so people sit by the dolomite sand. Food is not allowed inside to avoid trash. Those who'd like to eat can do so outside as there are plenty of street vendors around. For those who need parking, you can park across the road and just cross the pedestrian flyover. We went at 4pm and the sun was still hot but there's a good crowd already. Although for a holiday it's not as crowded as I'd expect. Bring umbrellas as there's no shade. Best time to go is towards sunset. Bring a blanket if you plan to sit down and watch the sunset.

Artificially prepared Dolomite beach is perfect to visit with friends and family. Nicely located with beautiful view to have fun. Cleanliness can be improved rest everything is good.

I was on vacation and was told the sunset over the bay had to be seen while I was there. It was indeed a beautiful view. The bay itself was very clean, and there was security at the entrance who were checking people for plastic bottles in order to keep the area clean.

The Dolomite beach isn't a sand beach. Do not expect sand. It's a beach made of small rocks of dolomite, despite the mainstream media. It's very pleasing to the eyes and just Refreshing to see in a populated highly urbanized city. The breeze seem better. I went there one morning to skate around. However, it was WEEKEND when I visited and did not foresee the crowd. There were cyclists, old, adults, and toddlers walking around the Bay Walk and to the Beach. So many people around not following local guidelines. There are many soldiers at bay, enforces, and guards to organise the people. Perhaps the people were excited about its opening and flocked in there from the whole Manila Bay walk to the roads. I hope that when the Manila Bay is finished, there will be more effective crowd control so that people can prevent getting sick from each other, especially during COVID pandemic.

Nice place to watch the sunset. Really good view. Not much else. It's a beach-themed place. Not really a beach. You can't -and seen no one- swim and filled with small grovel spread along the area. Again, real nice for a sunset watch outing.

Entrance is free, but you can't bring food inside. There are only 3 parasols so you'll be basking in the sun for your entire stay here. The public restrooms was unavailable for use. They have a medic station near the entrance. The "sand" are huge pieces of rocks. Over the horizon, you can see huge ships dumping sand for the Manila Bay Reclamation project. Such a bummer that the Manila Bay sunset wasn't like it used to look like.

Come for the sunrise or sunset because it’s a beach. It’s made of Dolomite so the grains are a bit rougher and larger than typical sand but it suffices. Well located in terms of closeness to popular tourist locations. Bring your boo or walk around here solo to ponder life’s greatest challenges, accomplishments, or mysteries. Bring a book or come with friends. This beach like life is what you make of it!

Nothing much to see, there is still some garbage in water. It would be amazing if there were bars or resto so you could refresh and enjoy the view. Drinks or food are not allowed to bring in.

Surprisingly out of this world patch of beach land, perfect clean white sand in Manila. Well maintained and trash free. If only the water is safe to swim it is still an enjoyable place for a short stop and clean smell of the salty air.

I was there on Thursday 2nd May, beach completely empty and fenced off with security guards and all restaurants closed. Only view possible from American friendship footbridge.

It's not too bad. You can't swim, eat, spit or just about anything there. The rocks in the sand make it hurt a bit when walking barefoot. But it's way better than what was there before. There's a separate entrance vs exit gate. The exit gate is first. Currently the toilets are porta-potties. They aren't very nice to use. They are effectively a long drop. But there's proper toilet facilities being worked on and looked like they were under maintenance. Thankfully it's free to enter but it seems to close around 6pm or maybe 6:30?

This is a man-made beach on the coast of Manila Bay. From what the sign says, this used to be a very polluted area with a lot of trash. The city cleaned it up and made a beach to beautify the community. They did a great job! That's a nice place to come for a beautiful view of the bay.

Manila Bay Dolomite beach 🏖️ was really nice one for tourists spot of the Philippines because you can also site seeing over the view of the city where can relax and sit on through the artificial White sand also this long, bayside walkway is a popular place to watch the sunset.💖👏👏🎉

A historical and cultural landmark, one of the most renowned churches in the country. You will be captivated by its luxurious and aesthetically pleasing interior. It is the perfect place to reflect and pray. Home of the Archbishop of Manila as the Cathedral serves as its episcopal seat and Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception as the country's patron. The cardinal presides over Masses here on various occasions. Additionally, there have been three Apostolic visits from popes so far.

This cathedral is a few minutes walk from Fort Santiago and is worth a visit. Classic Catholic cathedral architecture and the site of the first church in manila. Has been restored brilliantly. You can pray if you want but not necessary. Beautiful statues inside are also a great gift shop if you want to purchase any Catholic items at good prices also. There are ice cream and drink vendors outside 40 php for delicious flavours. I highly recommend this site.

A church worth visiting. The building itself withstands the time and is well maintained by its administrators both it's original design and structure. Of course, few modifications has been made for its convenience but you will still feel and see how it has been from the time it was newly built. Alot of staff takes good care of this church. Helping you out as well in filling and initiating health protocol guidelines for your safety as well. Security is in place as well for your ease of mind. Inside, the large and high ceiling ambiance will welcome you with architectural delight and very spacious seating capacity. It's mesmerizing in and out. There's security and they're going to check your bag's and also a body scanner. The inside is kind of quiet since I go there around 2pm and few people were visiting and praying. Some are checking the souvenir shop inside and others just want to explore. Over all, magnificent. Wedding ceremony would be absolutely stunning in there.

Beautiful Cathedral, from the Spanish architecture. The cathedral is very big, great designs inside the church. In the outside on the left side they have a statue of someone sleeping on a bench, the same statue is in Rio de Janeiro Cathedral. The story that it was told to me was that it was a Jesus Christ in a homeless situation. If you look close into the face is Jesus Christ.

This is the where I release all my problem by asking to God forgiveness. This place was the third spot that I visit but this is the best among the three of them. During this pandemic, there is no doubt to revisit again because they very strict in safety protocols and that's good for us for our safety. They are highly recommend the social distancing, warring of facemask, QR safe and the fully vaccination card.

A really impressive and imposing building, with a nice park opposite and seating to admire. It wasn’t overly busy when I passed by which helped to avoid it feeling too touristy an area, but there’s still plenty of people nearby offering taxi and horse rides. A clean area and a spot everyone should check out on a visit to the city.

This church is stunning! I came on weekday and the place is not crowded at all. I enjoyed my time here, looking at the beautiful architecture and the solemn peaceful vibes of the surrounding. Very recommended to come if you travel to Manila.

Amazing cathedral. Must visit place when visiting Intramuros. Very spiritual site. Architecture is amazing. The cathedral was quite busy due to it being on a Sunday when I visited but I was still able to get in without it being too busy.

The Mother Church of the Philippines. Loved the image of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception and the Adoration Chapel at the right facing the altar. Also, don't forget to visit the Jubilee Cross with the relic of St. John Paul II at the first section on the left facing the altar. The souvenir shop on the right also offers a number of religious items.

A Roman Catholic church with over 500 years of history. You can read a little about the church's history in the stone inscriptions near the main entrance. It is a well-attended church. Visited The Manila Cathedral right after visited Fort Santiago since it's really close and within walking distance (still located in Intramuros area). Totally impressed by its magnificent beauty, and there're many people hanging out in the front of this cathedral (since it's like mini park right in the yard of the cathedral). Visited during nighttime so I totally can admiring its beautiful architecture and lighting. The only downside, there's a local man that I think also a drinks seller in the front of cathedral, bringing photo brochure and keep on forcing and bothering us with an offer to take him as our photographer and tour guide even though we already said no like hundreds of time (just ignore him, even though as the time passed by it could get to your nerves). Still one of the nicest architectural building designs that I've ever seen.

Located inside the city walls, Intramuros, the cathedral is an amazing monument. First built in 1581 it was reconstructed several times due to natural disasters and wars. The entrance is free of charges and it is worth the visit.

Visited this mall during the pandemic in December 2021. Few stores were closed and they are strict in implementing temperature, vaccination card checking. Overall cleanliness is good, there are areas which are not well lighted and ventilated or no AC. Cinema is closed during our visit.

Great place to spend time shopping and visiting the many places to eat. One advantage is the roof terrace with fantastic views of the city and attractions. The church on the roof is worth a visit too.

Has lots of shops and plenty of food. Currency exchanges inside. Cell phone service provider inside. Good place to beat the heat or cut through. One must consent to bags getting checked upon entry. Can find good souvenirs at Robinson Department Store. Better prices then on the streets for some items such as shot glasses. That's awesome. Lacking washrooms and benches inside. Washrooms have no toilet paper and are a mess too. Layout is very confusing. Difficult to get to the 2nd floor. Only one set of escalators take you to all floors. The others take you to certain floors. Only 2 sets of elevators. Only one takes you to all the floors.

SIMPLE. ENOUGH. 🌌 This definitely has the community mall, town mall vibe, being located close to residential areas. But it doesn't feel cheap and dated. There's lots of popup boutiques of various kinds, cafes, fast foods, restaurants, electronic stores, salons, amusements, and many many more. It has that certain eloquence of the high end boujee shopping malls and at the same time the homey feels of small community malls. Pluses: + Spacious layout + Really, lots of unique eating places to go to For improvement: - Lack of public seating areas - Almost no activity center - No public transport terminal

Nice mall that has a theater and many shops. If you are too institutionalized on American junk food. A popeyes, mcdonalds and burger king and Dairy queen do. Exist to keep your cholesterol and blood pressure nice and hi.

Robinson's Place Manila was our favourite mall during my college year. Its relatively close to DLSU where I went to study. It was our favourite place to hang out for its wide variety of restaurants & popular shops. It took care of all our shopping needs. A must go to place for everyone near Manila area.

Still a popular meet-up and tambayan mall in Malate-Taft area and now has a ton of reataurants and food shops to choose from. Their Cinemas are now open but lack the old lines of moviegoers. The Arcades and indoor playgrounds are so full of patrons -- kids, families and dating couples and barkadas, you name it! Tom's World is particularly a fave among them. Lots of promos amongst merchants all over the mall. It is, however, difficult to find a parking space here.

Best mall in the Philippines. It has just about everything one could want. 6 floors with restaurants, bowling, billiards, hair salon, play areas, department stores, and much much more. Always kept clean and lot's of parking all underground. It's truly my favorite mall in the Philippines.

I've been in this mall several times already and i can say that it's clean and safe. Roving mall guards are everywhere. You can see products in different varieties. Customer service are good as well.

This is a good and huge place, with lots of reataurants and good eating places. The supermarket is well stocked, the choices good and varied. I love the variety of the restaurants in this mall, some top brands are here. The huge H&M is a good addition, including my and campers favorite Decathlon. Parking is not a problem here too.

It is located right in the heart of Manila. It had seven levels spread over 240000 sqm. There are a lot of local and international branded shops. Beside there were many restaurants and entertainment facilitis. It's an ideal place for entire family.

Good place to visit for shopping. But we could see that lack of seating arrangement in the mall..you have to go to some cafe to sit. The mall is huge..so it'll be great if they arrange the seating because many tourists come there directly from the airport or are going to the airport directly

The national Museum of Fine Arts 10/10 - Free Entrance just present ID Has a baggage counter for your things if you brought many I have nothing else to say just visit so you'll see, it is fun to see different paintings and arts. This has a lot, so I suggest to visit this museum for a whole day, and this museum alone. So you can enjoy everything here. Set another date on the other museums. Visit on weekdays for less crowd.

I really enjoyed and appreciated this museum. It is large in terms of space but not overbearing in terms of content. I still can’t believe it’s free. Thank you Philippines for that. The current exhibit regarding Magellan’s voyage, I found fascinating, well done, and worth the visit. The museum collection beyond that was also very well done and maintained. I recommend visiting this place.

This is a very interesting museum, specially for those interested in the impact of the european colonization in Philippines. It's amazing that the country promotes the national art at 0 entry fee. I give 4* because yelling crowds destroyed the mood. Lots of security around, but only worried about the bottled water I carried for my pregnant partner instead of for those who were hanging out in there like if they were in an outdoor park. Loved the artists selection, highly recommended!

We severely underestimated the number of hours we will spend in the place. I thought my friends and I could check everything out in 4 hours but we ended up spending 8 hours of our time there! Beautiful paintings and sculptures. I kept coming back to the Spolarium. My only complaint is the eye searing block colors of the rooms in the 1st floor and better lighting. Some parts of the place are so dimly lit, you can barely see the strokes of the paintings. The place is free to visit but I wish there was a donation box or a tip box so we can help in the maintenance of the place.

A beautiful and majestic place. Perfect for date and family bonding. All the historic paintings, centuries statues, crafts, arts, heritages, history lies in this museum, I can describe it the history of the Philippines from pre-colonization and to contemporary. Such a treasure and must be protected at all cost. Aside from that all the staff are friendly and accommodating, we really enjoyed it, such an unforgettable experience and we learned a lot. ❤️

Hands down, one of the best destinations in Manila, and it's free! I was blown away not only by the huge collection of art from the country's master artists, but also by how well-maintained the facility was. It can properly compete with other renowned museums in Asia, at the very least. Right as we entered, we were greeted by Juan Luna's world-renowned "Spoliarium", which was such a sight to behold. The museum has four floors filled with paintings, sculptures, and other piece of art from artists from different eras and art styles. It takes a whole day to fully and properly take in the all sights the museum has to offer (we spent almost 4 hours in the museum but only managed to explore 2 floors). Visiting National Museum of Fine Arts is a great activity that promises to provide a visual treat and make you get in touch with the Philippines' rich history. Very much recommended.

Truly a National Treasure!!! Everyone should visit this museum!!! Be immersed in the rich history and culture of a proud nation and there’s no excuse because thanks to a generous grant, admission is free. The collections are truly world class, wonderfully curated and housed in a building patterned after old US congress architecture. I’m truly proud of this place. !!! May I recommend adding a cafeteria in the patio grounds. (Very common in major museums) People may want to take a break, eat and talk about their museum experience with their friends and a cafeteria would be the perfect complement to a museum visit.

I would definitely call this one a hidden gem! This museum surprised me with the amount of beautiful original artworks! Entrance is free, all you need is one valid ID to enter. I wish i would have dedicated more time to see it.. 2 hours were not enough.. I would recommend 5 or 6 if you like to really explore each and every artwork. And maybe 3 or 4 hours if you take a faster look. A thing that made me a little sad, is that the artworks don't look like they are being well taken care of.. some are ripped, color less, dirty and so on.. really a shame.. Such a great museum! Free admissions, the workers are definitely approachable. For the first time I visited a museum (in my lifetime), it was really a great experience! The highlight of it was the "Spoliarium" by Juan Luna. The artifacts, preserved paintings, sculptures were also displayed and each information was posted and explained well.

We were not expected by the queue but everyone moved in an orderly and prompt manner. Was really impressed by that because there were no designated lines for that. The museum is free, you use need a valid photo ID per party. Also, if your bags are too big, you will have to place them at a bag deposit in exchange for a card. The place is very huge, with multiple floors. The reason why we came was to see works by VICENTE S. MANANSALA. We would have walked for a longer period but the female toilets were closed for maintenance except for one, so we didn’t stay for long.

Such an amazing place that shows the history of our nation. If you are going to absorb everything in this museum, 8 hours won't be enough. It's worth it to visit every once in a while, you will keep learning something every time you visit. This is my third visit and I still love it. And it is free. You learn something about your history for free!

That was an amazing experience. I spent hours going through the art collection of different eras of the Philippines history. The place is well organized and admissions was free. There was a waiting line outside, but it moved quickly and I was in in a few minutes.

Wonderful museum. The National museum definitely presents the best exhibits out of the other museums in the area. I particularly enjoyed the Guillermo Tolentino exhibit. His sculpturing is unmatched in Filipino art. The building itself feels a bit run-down on the interior side, but the quality of the exhibits makes up for that. The free entry also makes this a must-visit in Manila.

Free entrance which caught me by surprise.  It displays work of arts by the most famous national artists. It has 4 floors dedicated to all art genres. From sacred art to modernism, sculptures, paints, foto-oleo, you name it. If you have a back pack you will need to leave it at the security desk ,free of charges.

Enjoying leisure time in Manila, and decided to visit one of their so many famous museums, National Museum of Fine Arts. They're free so there's no hassle in buying the tickets, the security is also nice, if you guys bring big bags (like backpacks), the staffs will asked to store the bags in the entrance area of the museum (small bags is allowed). They're housing many beautiful art works that indeed pleasing to the eye. Recommended you guys to visit this museum while visiting Manila.

Great art work, no hats allowed, dress appropriately. can’t use the elevators so be prepared to walk up some stairs. Some rooms are a little hot mostly due to the current season.

I enjoyed my visit here. There is no entrance fee. Big bags need to be surrendered to the baggage counter. Not a lot of people when I went on a Saturday morning. I was mesmerized by the art and it was honestly relaxing and inspiring. Great place to visit and would definitely go back. Hopefully they have some audio guided tours in thr future.

Nice and huge basilica. The outside looks as grand as the inside. There were lots of devotees praying when I visited. Easy location as well, near the LRT station. Just outside the church, there are also many small street side stall selling candles and items for prayer

The home of the black nazareno. Crowded surroundings. You can hear surrounding noises even when you are inside the church. But still too many devotees love to visit this old church. Beware if you visit here, there are too many pickpockets roaming around looking for targets.

Try to visit this place when there isn’t a Mass on. Had heard of this place since I was a child and thought it was worth a visit on the list of sightseeing things to do in Manila. A little disappointed that it a mass was on at the time of our visit as we were not able to visit the statue of the Black Nazarene up close. Despite that, it was a good atmosphere there and really interesting to see daily life in the Philippines. Not sure it is definitely worth another visit but I would like to see the procession of the Black Nazarene when it is on.

I am a Catholic and every Holy Place I go is a five star for me. So please disregard my stars as this is given subjectively. My last visit was 20 years ago! It's all the same so far. Probably so many improvements inside the church but not so much change in the vicinity. Mass schedule - hourly. Face mask is still required although nobody is strictly checking. Still, it's best you bring one with you. Parking - glad we found a spot! It's beside Mercury store. 50 pesos per hour.

After years of it being closed due to the Pandemic, last Friday (April 8, 2022), the church finally opened the "Pahalik" sa Paa ni Hesus Nazareno. I took the train from LRT Marikina to Recto, the rain was pouring hard and I was drenched on it. When I was on the Padasal Section of the church (left side if you are facing the church), church ladies were calling out people telling them that it has opened again. I took the chance, I was the last in line so I was kind of excited. compared to the pahalik before that will only let you swipe for a second and send you down right away, I had more time with Jesus and it was immaculate.

I finally visited Black Nazarene in Quiapo, Metro Manila. Always seen it thru tv or any platform of social media. I've felt sincerely grateful, happy and blessed. I went there alone, from Parañaque to Baclaran then taking ride thru LRT1 drop to Carriedo station which cost Php20 only(LRT fare). From Carriedo station walked 5-10 min going to Church. Tips for not to get lost every travel, must search and check the area or destination first. God Bless ❤️

A truly significant landmark in Quiapo, Manila, not just for its religious importance but also for its cultural and historical value. There is nothing to not like the place. Good time to visit is early in the morning as there non much of people.

The haven of the Black Nazarene is located at the heart of Plaza Miranda in Quiapo. Although it becomes particularly hectic in the afternoons as devotees heading home drop by to say their prayers or hear the afternoon mass. In spite of people walking here and there, the inside of the church will embrace you with a mixed feeling of devotion, humility, surrender and hope. WEhn you enter the church, the great feeling of rush truns into a blur as you soak on deep prayer mode. And feeling of rush comes back as you step out of the church. You should go and feel it for yourself. -- and share your exeprience here.

The Minor Basilica of Black Nazarene was located in the heart of Manila the place known as "QUIAPO". along Quezon Blvd. The Black Nazarene refers to a life-sized, dark-colored statue of Jesus Christ that was brought to Manila, Philippines, from Mexico on May 31, 1606, by the first group of Augustinian Recollect friars sent by Spain. The image was charred black in a fire that broke out on the ship during its trip to Manila from Mexico. Many devotees are from different places in luzon and the area of the Philippines gathered and went for a mass every 1st of Friday and every friday for the novena and prayer asking for blessing, healing and miracle that they are asking. Quiapo Church is now open and the restriction was also lifted and we can now go here. So all the devotees of our father Black Nazarene you can come here anytime our Father Black Nazarene is waiting for you. Like the story of the prodigal son he will wait for you open arm and accept you just repent and be a good person.

Worth to be seen, a museum of a lifestyle of rich Filipino family from the Spanish period, 19th century. I’ve been here on the weekday, a lot of people but no queue for tickets. You need around 30 min to see it all.

For me the must see place of Intramuros. It really takes you back to a bygone era being a beautiful Spanish style Villa. It is now the hub for man bars, restaurants and a hotel. As such t tends to e very busy, making taking photographs a challenge, but well worth persevering.

Rewind back in time and relive the Spanish colonial era in Casa Manila. You have to buy the entrance fee on the ground floor separately. This old villa is very well maintained and features much of the original furniture used back in the day.

So from the sounds of it this was a former home once in the past, but it’s a really cool place to sit down, eat or drink something to relax for a bit. Plus then take some great photos, and just admire the work of art this place is. I guess the only thing that hit me a bit was getting bugged by a few of the locals trying to advertise some rides or things to purchase. If it wasn’t for that, it would have been a 5 out of 5 experience.

Beautiful old place and truly unique 😍🇵🇭 However, there are lots of people when we visited this place so not really able to explore and even attempt to enter the museum. Casa Manila is inside Plaza de San Luis. It is a cute place to look back to the Spanish household life. We got in using the intramuros pass from klook. I recommend that you dont book ahead cus my friend suddenly wasn't able to go. It is seamless, yet i can't predict the outcome. I like looking at artifacts. It turned back time to 1800s when we were still colonized by them. Funny thing why there are chinese double happiness lamps there. The Casa Manila is a showpiece and a tour de force structure recreated by the Intramuros Administration to preserve and encapsulate the Spanish colonial days within the islands. Inside you would find antique pieces of furniture and woodwork that was prevalent during that time. It exudes the ambiance of what it was like to live in those bygone days when the Spanish Monarchy and the Roman Catholic Church prevailed in the lives of Christianized Filipinos.

The interior of this museum is mainly made of wood, I think teak - definitely a house of rich people. Nothing much info about the house too. I love the surrounding of Casa Manila, just like we're in Spain with a fountain in the middle. However, its nothing much, to me its just like a house tour. 😅 Will I come here again for the tour - NO. But there's a lot of cafes and restaurants here - WORTH to try, plus point, its an instagrammable place.

Love what they've done to this place! The Philippines isn't the best at restoration, but this place is quite decently done. Located right beside the San Agustin church, they turned this ancient Filipino mansion into a commercial area with cafes, restaurants, a museum, and a few curated shops. All of the places are tucked in rooms and alcoves of what I assume to be an old Spanish-era casa surrounded by the only remaining cobblestone street within Intramiuros.

The Casa Manila is Amazing old house and Architecture are wonderful. The entrance in Casa Manila 75 pesos each person if kids 2 to 4 is free. They have plenty of cafe restaurants and food is so delicious and have also beer if you want. I'm sure I will recommended the Casa Manila.

The ambiance was so classy.There are restaurants on the first floor where you can choose to eat. The staffs as well as the guards of the museum was very nice and articulate. The entrance fee to the museum was very affordable 75php for regular and 50php for students. I long to come back here since the first time i came here was when i was in 6th grade way back in 1987. I really admire how they preserve those antiques.

An extravagant home owned by a Spanish-Filipino haciendero during Spanish era. All the muembles and everything inside the house was impressive that they were able to preserve it. One of the awesome museums around the intramuros

Casa Manila is an AMAZING PLACE to visit! You must come here when you visit Intramuros. It feels like stepping into another time. I never imagined such a classy place like Casa Manila in the Philippines. I pictured how life was in those days. It's delightful to see old rooms transformed into commercial spaces like shops, restaurants, and offices. There's even an exhibit area. Sadly, we couldn't enter the museum, which I assume is the best part. The price didn't fit our budget then, and we had more places to visit before sunset. But I'd love to return and explore all the things they offer.

The details of this place is breathtaking. Visiting this casa will bring you back to the good old time and see how the rich live in the past. Absolutely recommend

It's very well worth it to go for a tour, which only costs P75 ($1.50 USD) It shows the luxurious mansion of a Filipino-Spanish haciendero during the Spanish Colonial times, very well preserved, and it shows a glimpse of the past. Currently, Intramuros is undergoing renovations and the roads are a mess!! Make sure you secure transportation back to your hotel before hand. It was almost impossible to get a taxi. I do not recommend to visit with small children or infants... Still, a beautiful unique experience

This is a time capsule of old Manila. The site is very well presented and preserved. The tickets are also very fairly priced and the guides are cheap and knowledgeable. It is important to remember that you must stay on the red carpet for the first part of the tour but during the second half it is more of a free roam experience.

It was Chinese New Year, and all the people in the street were waiting for the show to start. There is a dragon dance that I'd like to watch because I have never experienced watching one. The dragon dance is such an awesome sight to see. All the dancers are very active and lively performing their performance. The experience is overwhelming, and later, there was a fireworks show.

The hotel was easy to find and right before the arc. When I visited, I got to try their food and the spread was intense. Each serving was good for a group of 4 and doesn’t break the bank. The seafood is fresh too!

the room was small and it had a cigarette smell, We can not sleep because of the noise coming from the outside of the room, room should be a soundproof or a quiet zone, so that the guest can relax and sleep well and lastly the wifi connection was so slow. but the hotel had a good customer service thumbs up for that

We know that theres a specific smoking area but the other players do smoking where they seat. I just wanna clarify especially to those I.S ( internal Security) you guys, you should to be fair. When chinise players do smoking everywhere inside the gaming area is fine. However, if pilipino do it what the other nationality do. You always been there to make ( Sita ). You should to be fair for all of the players inside your premisis. Hope corporate of the PAGCOR will give an action about the issue. Pinoy man or ibang lahi dapat sa designated smoking area lang magyoyosi.

As someone who is always looking for pet-friendly establishments, I am so happy to add one in my list for Binondo. Lailai Hotel in Ongpin welcomes small to medium pets that are wearing diaper, fully vaccinated and well-behaved in their seafood restaurant and in their hotel rooms. I also have the privilege to try 12 dishes from their resident restaurant in the basement. Overall, I love the steam king fish, oyster ball, seafood noodles, crab rice, broccoli garlic and tomato egg. Here are my thoughts about each of these: Fish head sour soup - Lapu lapu na fish served in a big bowl of hot soup with some wood ear mushroom. Yung asim nya galing sa Chinese vinegar and some spices. I only sip some and ate a bite because I still have 11 more to fit in my stomach. It is like conditioning your taste bud that you’re ready to devour more! Steam king fish - Steamed king fish was cooked the right way. Why? Coz hindi masyado malansa. Crab rice - Fried rice served with one big fried crab in the shell. Though I wondered what if the crab meat has been sliced in small pieces and mixed well with the fried rice? Oyster ball - Fried oyster with onion leeks and seaweed served with a kind of sauce I forgot the name. I never bothered to ask because I can eat oyster ball without it. At first, I thought it was squid but it is not. I love that the serving size is bigger than what I was expecting. Lailai seafood noodles - Smaller strips of noodles mixed with some seafood. I love this too. I prefer this than those long and thick noodles that are heavy in the stomach. Though I have to remind myself, I have to reserve some space for more food. Pork kikiam - Lailai Hotel’s homemade kikiam. Most kikiam’s I have eaten in Binondo are hard and looking old but the ones we tried here are new, with lighter color and a bit chewy when eaten. Broccoli garlic - Lightly cooked. The garlic is just enough. The broccoli they use is fresh I can tell because it is crispy and I can really taste its natural flavor. Sautéed squid - Squid is chewy. The red and green bell peppers Halaan guisado - clams are fresh and sautéed just right. Okiam chicken - did not had a chance to eat this Tomato egg - this one sounds like everyone can make at home but they have some special ingredient here that I don’t know and it is secret! they make the best/upgraded version. Special mention to their Halo-halo coffee. It is your typical halo-halo with one espresso shot from Arabica coffee, milk, fruity sinkers, sweet red munggo, pinipig etc. then topped with ube plus 1 SECRET ingredient. If you want to enjoy halo-halo with a mild hint of coffee, this is it. Creamy and sweet over all. Only available during summer for now so make sure you grab one. FYI to pet owners: Pet fee is Php 500 per night in the hotel. Pets should stay in under the table or floor and not sit on the chairs as per guideline of Lailai hotel. No photo with my furbaby coz I didn't bring him when I went here.

But here are my top 3: Sour Lapu-Lapu soup which is a perfect blend of sourness that gives out this heat but does not overpower the taste. Oyster Cake with the right amount of oyster, cooked and seasoned well. Pork Kikiam - you can taste the unique flavor and the spices just blended perfectly. Other dishes that I tried were Kung Pao Chicken, Steamed Bactaw, Mustasa Kiampong, Beef Radish, Cha Misua, Salted Egg Shrimp, Waisan Celery and Crabs. All were very tasty and shockingly affordable!
