The waterfalls at this location are a sight to behold. It is necessary to descend around 100 steps to get to the base of the falls, but the view is worth it. The surrounding plantations add to the beauty of the area. While the overall experience was positive, the bridge leading to the falls could have been better maintained. The water from the falls is refreshing and has the ability to wash away stress and rejuvenate the senses. It's no wonder that this place is a must-visit for nature lovers. Thanks to the efforts of the local community in Coorg, this beautiful natural attraction has been preserved for all to enjoy. The small fee of Rs.10 for entry is a small price to pay for such a mesmerizing experience.

Good one.. We have to watch and come back from a point. No access to reach/ touch/ bath in falls. You have to visit the point through stairs only. No ramp or other source. Elderly people may face difficulty. So I have rated 3. Presently this photo is my mobiles wall paper.

Visited here last year, it was a sunny day and humidity was high. It would have been wonderful if we could have access to the waterfall but we saw that the bridge was broken(not actually broken but twisted in a weird way). Still it looked quite stunning while in sunlight. Even though I hope that the bridge is fixed soon so that waterfall might become accessible, in a way it's good because people might start littering near the waterfall and it wouldn't be the same.

Abbe Falls in Coorg is a breathtaking natural wonder that left me in awe. The moment I arrived, the sound of cascading water and the lush greenery captivated my senses. The falls were a beautiful sight, with water gushing down the rocks, creating a mesmerizing view. The pathway to the falls was well-maintained, making the journey enjoyable and safe. I appreciated the effort put into ensuring visitors could access the site comfortably. There were plenty of spots to take photos and admire the beauty of nature. I particularly loved the surrounding forest and the variety of trees and plants. The air was so fresh and filled with the pleasant aroma of nature. It felt like a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. One thing to keep in mind is that it can get a bit crowded, especially during peak tourist seasons. However, even with the crowd, the falls' natural beauty shone through. Overall, Abbe Falls is a must-visit if you're in Coorg. It's a great place to connect with nature and witness the sheer wonder of a waterfall. I left with a sense of tranquility and a memory of a truly beautiful place.

The view of the falls is amazing but swimming is not allowed in this falls. There are parking lots available for you to park your vehicles, and you have to walk around 100 steps to reach the falls which is little tiring but worth it to watch the falls. The place where you stay and watch the falls isn't spacious enough. Overall a good experience.

It is a good place. Around 50-80 steps to go down to witness the falls. Amazing plantations surrounded. A one time visit. Could have maintained it in a better way though & repaired the damaged bridge. Good experience. 10/- for entry*

Good place to visit which is nearer to town. You need to get an entry ticket and walk for few minutes to reach the falls. Best time to feel the falls will be during the monsoon where you have huge water running from the mountain. Note: You won't be able to go near the water. You can view the falls and click pictures.

Beautiful !! The place looks like largely destroyed by flood and landslides. But still safe to go. It's a spectacular view. Don't go near the waterfalls during rains as the source of water is from mountains above and at any time huge floods can fill the river in no time. There are many spots for clicking photos. Be careful entering the river as stones are so polished and slippery. Overall a must visit place

Loved this place. The view was so amazing to see sunset. Sunset was not visible as it was drizzling here and there. But that was not bad either. It was beautiful to see various clouds moving as well. Also, they were constricting and renovating the view path. The place was clean. Visitors did not trash the place much. The park had lots of greens and flowers. Once the construction is complete, I trust that there would be more adjacent view points.

Raja’s seat is basically a well maintained park which has wide variety of flowers planted at the entrance and various animal statues installed all over the park. Kids would enjoy this place. Once you reach the other end of the park, the view will just blow your mind. The best time to visit the place would be during sunset. There is a sitting area with benches to sit, relax and enjoy the sunset. Parking area for vehicles is about 100 meters away from the park.

Amazing place. Sunrise here is a treat to the eyes and the soul. Initially we thought the jeep ride was only ceremonial, but getting here does require a good bit of off-road traversal. It was chilly and windy when we went, and the entire experience was amazing!

Must visit place in Coorg, if you are going by your own Bike be cautious and it’s recommended to be prepared with off road challenge, Solo drive is easy but dual will be little challenging for beginners.

Definitely one of the highlights of my time in Coorg! Great experience off-roading in a jeep. Very scenic and (intentionally) bumpy ride in the clouds. Loved every bit of it! The wind on top of the hill was overwhelmingly amazing. It was super cloudy, so we didn't get much of the view of the valley. Still well worth it. Point to note- There is an uphill walk from the parking lot to the view point. Not recommended for people with mobility issues.

This Place Mandal Patti view point is very beautiful place. To reach here we have to get a jeep on rent and driver will take us to the point. It's a very challenging task to reach there. Just go there and have some fresh air and get mental peace

1. Mandalpatti, crowned at a height of 1600m, is situated at around 18 km from Madikeri, Coorg. Gradually evolving as one of the best tourist spots in Coorg, this fascinating trail is located en route to Abbey Falls. 2. At the time we reached there was a huge fog that we couldn't see the person in front of you. 3. The Jeep ride to the peak is the ultimate thrilling feeling that we had. 4. View points are awesome.

Very Good Jeep Ride costs ₹1500 per trip If Trekking would be approximately 4.5-5km and would take 2hours from the ticket counter.. Entry tickets cost about ₹50 per person..

Great view point on top of hill but getting in is quite a hectic Task. Jeeps are there to get there but that costs ₹1500. You can opt in at entrance since it's worth . The roads are not so good for last 3 kms where these comes to place. The range of hills are green and view will be fabulous after rainy season. Sunrise and sunset are opt time to visit, we don't have any eatables and only water is available at point before 3kms since it comes under conserved wild line of forests

Beautiful scenic view, best time to visit during sunset. Only Jeeps can travel till the top (4WD) they charge 2500 per Jeep for to and fro and allow approx 1 hour time to roam at top. Roads are not good. Must visit place in Coorg. Few sitting arrangements are there, Washroom facilities are available.

The safari was one of its kind, extremely adventurous. Once you reach the top, it was extremely beautiful, breathtaking views. Though its written as 2500 for the ride, the drivers tend to charge more and so be cautious.

You'll have to park your car down and go in a jeep 4x4. They charge you 2200 for 1 jeep. 5 people can go in that. After forest check post you'll have to give 150rs to the forest guard. From the jeep to the top it'll take you 45 min of travel. You can spend 40 min on top of the hill. You cannot carry any plastic or or flammable substances in top of the hill. It's a very good spot for sunrise or sunset

This is a must visit place when you are in coorg. We went for the sunrise and it was amazing.. the only issue is getting a jeep for the offroad as there are no other means of transportation. The road stretch is broken so either you walk or take a jeep.. you can also take yr bike. The wind at the top is chilling but you will love every moment there.

This is the best place to visit in MADIKERI. One must visit before the sunrise. Locals try to stop you in the way but if you have your vehicle you can drive upto base point. From there you have to take off ride 4*4 only. It also is an experience in itself. They charge depending on the time and group size. At the top there is a lot of wind and I mean a lot. Do cover your ears properly otherwise they may be a pain in the experience. It is usually very cold at top. Sunrise there if you are lucky can be witnessed. It is a great sight to watch Must visit

We have been to Coorg umpteen times and not even heard of this place . But when our Van driver suggested we got curious to check whether it was true to be the best place to visit in Madikere !!. MANDALPATTI is located ( on Abbey falls road ) and about 20 kms from Madikere. Once there at the entry point there is designated 4X4 jeeps to take us up. ( we thought they don't allow us in our own vehicle just to make money ) They charge Rs 2500 for the jeep drive . Plus Rs. 200 from the forest dept and no food or plastics allowed which I thought was a great innitative The jeep drive was spectacular. We understood why other vehicles cannot go on the bone crunching ride. Once on top we got some spectacular views. The ride made our day !. The drivers were experts and the vehicles were custom built for extra suspension to soak the pressure and take this beating, ... which we heard. There is a small trek of about 10 minutes to the top after the jeep reaches after a 40 minute ride. We were allows to be there and experience this beautiful views for 45 minutes. There are rest room on top which was a relief. Coming down the drive we had Tea 🍵 in one of the small tea shacks...to soak in the experience. We found a lot of liter of plastic bottles which we picked and deposited in the bin. Please be more responsible ..people 🙏 Recommend this ride to everyone.and what we paid is worth every paise of it . Later heard and realized now this place is also gaining popularity for trekking !!

21st November 2023: Nice hill top to see breathtaking view in Coorg. But the best part is the 4x4 jeep off-road ride from the entrance to the top. It costs you 1200 for one jeep and the jeep can carry 7 people. VERY IMPORTANT: you have to be there by 6:00 AM at the entrance to see a beautiful sunrise or else you’ll miss this. The jeep driver will give you 40 minutes to enjoy the place and again he will drop you at the entrance.

The best place to visit in Coorg. This was the best experience in my Coorg Trip. The trekker ride will take a toll on your body but the ride is adventurous. If there would have been a Trekking route, the experience could be better. I am not sure though, if pople trek or not.

Jeep Riding Mandalpatti hill is especially famous for its jeep riding adventure. The Forest Department here encourages all visitors to undertake this 4×4 jeep riding experience. No doubt, this is by far the ideal way to witness the beauty of Mother Nature.

Its a temple. Anyone can visit but there is a dress code to follow. Which I suggest you do if you want to visit the temple area of the compound. Anyone can roam around the pond area. Its a quiet place with occasional temple bell.

It's a beautiful temple in the middle of the city. The god here is Lord Shiva. There is a beautiful pond inside temple premises. The Omkareshwara Temple displays a unique style of architecture. The temple has a design that is quite similar to the ones seen in Muslim dargah. The structure of the temple comprises of a large central dome with four minarets standing at the four corners.

This place is more like a complex which houses multiple institutions. The main building which is what is called fort is closed at this time for restoration/renovation. There is a museum in the premises. The perimeter has the fort walls over which you can walk around but has to be maintained well. You can see the city from different corners. There is parking area outside and entry to fort premises is free. Located oin city centre, it's easily accessible. Worth a visit.

A very small and historic place. You have to buy tickets to go inside the museum where they have kept historic art and crafts. You can find various types of coins, paintings, sculptures etc. However, the fort itself is under renovation so we couldn't be able to visit.

Under renovation, so cant see anything inside building. The outside color is now changed to white with windows in wooden color which is different from what it used to be earlier. However parking is free, and no entry fee, hardly people visiting. One can take a tour along the fort wall and enjoy 15mins. I believe once renovated, it shall be a good attraction for all.

This is not the place where we as a tourist want to visit as a fort. Totally disappointed. Got to know that it is now converting to govt office and started renovation also. Let's hope for a good place in the coming future if not as a fort at least as a good tourist spot.

Very neat and clean fort with less tourists. There is a temple inside which tourists can worship and do offerings. Overall nice place for taking pictures and spending good time. This fort is within city so anyone can visit comfortably.

It has a small museum inside and they charge 20 rupees for adults. They have collection dated from 12th century. The fort gives good view of city.

The fort was under renovation when we went there. There is no entry fee for the fort but there is a charge if you want to visit the museum, the museum is present just at the entrance opposite to the fort and costs around ₹10/- per head. You can walk around the fort by climbing up the wall of the fort. There are two elephant statues from where you can climb up the wall. You can see the whole of Coorg from above those walls. You can visualize how the wall must have been used by the kings military to watch out for the enemies. There are spaces between the walls that must have been used by archers and shooters. While walking on the wall around the palace you can see old stables etc, those are not maintained now.

This could have been one amazing place. The fort is kept in a bad shape. No write up, no guides and absolutely no care about this heritage place. Do read about the history of this place before visiting. It will then make this place worth a visit. The museum is a good addition too. However I'm worried about the way artifacts are kept. There was some work going on when we visited this place... Hoping that it's for the good.

There is nothing much to see at this fort since it's currently under renovation. Hopefully it will soon be completed and made beautiful. This fort has lot of historical importance.

This place was not maintained properly and there isn't more to visit. The building was old and still has those cannon places where they use all the artillery, large calibre guns and their hideout. These were nice to view. It would be nice if they maintained it properly.

Ok place to visit.. not worthy to spend much time.. there is a museum also. There is no much things to visit in museum.. very average place. Can go once..

The museum is small but has a nice collection from statues to coins and Tibetan art, stuffed animals to royal clothes, seals and arms. Take a walk around the wall of the fort to get a 360 degree view of the entire city. There is another gate to enter the fort and there is a small temple hidden in that entrance

The fort is very rundown. Still, it's worthy for a visit. They are slowly renovating it. Works are in progress. You can walk around the wall on the walkway. Quite interesting.

No parking fee, entry. The city view from the fort is really pretty in winters. The strolling around the fort is nice. Not much of a crowd usually.

A nice fort. Maybe at the beginning they were ruined by building government offices / schools. The fort was very well built to protect from war. Museum is small but worth watching everything.

The fort is situated within the city. The old fort is in currently lying in dilapidated condition and closed for people to visit, one can only walk along the periphery wall of the fort, which offers practically no exciting view. A new building is under construction. The fort complex also houses a tiny Govt. run museum, temple and elephant statues. There is no entry fee, few parking available and entry closed at 6 pm. Nothing much to do or see, nothing to lose if missed.

The fort is really grand but it's maintenance and development has not being done properly by the administration. There's a very old beautiful church which has been unfortunately converted into a museum. Although the artefacts kept there is worth watching, it should have been displayed at a different building. The sanctity of the church should have been maintained. It really hurts to see a holy place being used so recklessly. The old court building near the fort would have been worth viewing from inside but as some renovations were being done we could view it's historical grandness from outside only. Overall the place could be a great place to visit with a bit of assistance from the government administration to make a few changes to upkeep the place.

The place is good, however you cannot get into the water.... You can just click a few pics with the falls in the back drop. There are no eating places and no entry charges

Mesmerizing beauty of water falling over a huge rock.. looks wow 😳.. But be careful about wild life.. I noticed fresh mark of bison and elephant and day or two old pug marks these climbing towards up side of falls from alternate road. Never try to get into water it's always good to enjoy the nature from far don't try to hug it

Chelavara waterfall is a beautiful waterfall, but there is no access to the waterfall. Therefore you can see the waterfall from a vantage point. A small narrow path that leads to the waterfall. The view of the waterfall is good. The waterfall is dangerous and hence the reason people are asked not to go near the waterfall. There were people who were bathing in the waterfall, in spite of the warning. 15 minutes is all it takes to visit this place. I suggest tourists can visit Kabbe hills and while returning stop here to see the waterfall

The view is absolutely beautiful. And this is how the falls looks in December. There's still a lot of water and there are caution signs put up all over the place. Please be careful here as it's slippery (during monsoon). It's best to just go and look at it from a distance. That's what we did. Also there's no Trek or anything to go to the falls. It's just a small scenic path through coffee plantation filled with rocks that you can easily walk through(some 400-500m). But the view is definitely worth it. 8/10 overall.

Beautiful waterfall to visit. However cannot go down near the waterfall base. (flow is too strong during rains) We visited Nov end 2021, flow was pretty good that time. Very short trek of about 10-15 minutes.

A waterfall in jungle always catch our attention. Sound of waterfall, smell of wet mud and stone and beautiful landscapes these are all the beuties of this spot with peace of mind.

This place is on way to Tamara and the odyssey resort . You can search in google and this place is away from city but must visit for peace and falls view. I visited in weekdays and early Morning time . There will be no time limit but not recommended after 6pm since it’s surrounded by forest and coffee plantation and no people and no light area. The way is completely filled with estates and lush green and this falls will be visible to road . Kindly stop when you see board about falls because the way to falls will start here with small walking path .google shows top way which is not needed as it won’t have any falls view and waste of time . It’s a small trucking for about 5-10mints and road is small and wet due to monsoon rain and near by water moisture .be careful while trucking and be aware of leech’s. We can’t go near falls and play in water as lot of deaths happened due to slipping on stone issue in past but you will go very near to falls and view is damn good. In weekends there will b no people so you can take good picks and enjoy some lonely no crowd peace time. No parking charge no entry free since nobody will be there but kindly be careful as there won’t be anyone around , you will be solely responsible for your safety.

Offbeat place u can have a 3 minutes trek... Serene place... On the way just before 5 minutes opp to a school a place to get down a bridge will be seen.... To get down in water pls visit this.. In falls u can't get down

It’s a serene waterfall ! Love this place so much. Please avoid going deep down to the waterfall. But some boys go there which is quite risky . The sound & the proper view of the waterfall can be viewed from the spot! ( Photo/Video attached ) This is a short trek of 300mts approximately from the main road ! Parking is a constraint as we had to park on the road ( U turn) ! We went now in June & it’s monsoon there. You have taken precautions for leeches & always carry an umbrella 🌂.

Really amazing view. No entry fee. You can go near the falls at your own risk. Just a 50 meter walk from the road side. Legally don't think we can go near falls. Better to go after mansoon so that you can go near it.

It is better to come here during rainy season, Going into the water for swimming is very dangerous during rainy season, It happened here that seven people died after going swimming

it is located on the way to Kabbe Holidays Homestay and is near Thadiyandamol, the highest point in Kodagu. The falls is visible after walking 200 meters into the forest from the place available for parking. One can easily get into dangerous waters and pulled in. It is approximately 100 feet deep. There are danger signs all over. Locals advise not getting into the water. About 20 people have died here.

It's a small beautiful waterfall. Visited in December, didn't have much water around that time. This is a short trek of 300mts approximately from the main road. Authorities have blocked the way that goes to the bottom of the waterfall due to serious risk of injuries, but few still go taking huge risks.Parking is a constraint as we had to park on the road. There's another spot for viewing the waterfall, either continue the trek from the 1st spot or keep driving up the same road. There will be a crossing of an unpaved road, park vehicle there and follow the unpaved road and you will reach destination after a short walk. This 2nd spot according to me is much more safer and easy to reach.

Way to this peak is really difficult but your bikes can go till the base. This is a sunset place. The view from this place is breathtaking. There's a temple of lord Shiva where female are not allowed to go. But due to covid temple was closed.

A place which Is the second highest peak of Karnataka It feels very refreshing and has grandeur and breath taking views I would recommend to go on a bike rather than in car as the journey towards it is very mesmerizing as it goes through the outskirts of Coorg Shiva temple is at the top which apparently opens once in a year

a calm place where actually no disturbances. lots of place to explore, suggest that visit in the early morning or evening o there concider monsoon season ( in monsoon rocks are slippery, beware of that). a small temple located over there, but when i visited there's nobody who take care of that coz, in practical thers no one to guide or help. Be careful while climbing rocks. another thing to remind, if you're planning to visit, make sure vehicle and tyres are good in condition. there's no shops nearby, also carry water much you want.

Awesome place to visit in winter season,place is very calm and very lonely. Temple opens only on Tuesday. Ladies not allowed inside the temple.

The view from this place is just phenomenal. The roads are good with less traffic, but as we get near to the place the road isnt good. But it is totally worth. Must visit when you are in Madikeri.

The road leading to the spot is in very bad condition. Don't go there on a small 4-wheeler as it can be dangerous and only if you have an experienced driver. There are some Jeep safari which we read on Google reviews but were unable to find anyone on reaching there.

Loved this place 😍. You will be in shock if you see the stacked rock formation. There is a shiva temple situated at the base of these rocks. I visited here during summer but still the weather was cool and foggy. Climate here changes very rapidly. The route to the bottom will be challenging for some vehichles usually in monsoon season.

View is exceptionally excellent , few cars get difficult during transportation , so you will have to walk few KM , Usually temples open between 10-11:30 only on Tuesday preferably to call and then visit temple view point is good to be travelled during early morning

Kote betta just one simple trek and hill hidden in lots of memories of people’s it’s not just place it is the moments of friends, couples, for parties and night life much more but be safe and enjoy the time

Way to this peak is really difficult but your bikes / Rental Scooty can go till the end. It will be very risky all I can say. My suggestion would be stop your Bike / Scooty 1Km away from the view point and walk over there. It would be safest option. Very peaceful place. Very quiet place, the road to go through deep forest. If are coming from Madikeri, start your journey very early in the morning. Then first visit Malliali Falls then come over here. This is a sunset place. The view from this place is breathtaking. There's a temple of lord Shiva where female is not allowed to go. But due to covid temple was closed and still not open in 2022, Sept. Be careful with your driving & Enjoy.

Place is nice but if u have any plan to have trek to near by place then good. Just for visit I won't suggest this place. After driving ur vehicle in one way road for 20+ kms. Just to see a closed temple means it's of no meaning... If u drive ur bike and have any plan for trekking n camping then it's good place for that...

The cabs provided by skyway are clean and the drivers are polite and professional, loved it and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nearby trip from Mysore or Bengaluru.

While considering transportation options to and from Bengaluru Airport for a short vacation to Coorg, Màdikeri recently , I chose services of skyway international. Discussion and positive interactions with Ms Sabya gave me the comfort level to choose skyway services over other options which i was considering. Vehicle and chauffeur both were very nice. Ms Sabya was also very helpful to guide me during my stay at Madikeri. I must say the overall service was extremely satisfying.

Had used there vehicles in Coorg and was happy with their service. Well maintained vehicles, their drivers were always on time, were polite and knowledgeable and very helpful. Prices were a bit steep, but otherwise all good.

Sabya from skyway international travel was extremely responsive and quick to arrange for our return travel at the last moment. We had forgotten to book cab for our return from Coorg and called the hotel travel desk at 11pm in the night. They gave my number to Sabya who promptly called me and figured out our requirements and quickly arranged for the cab next day morning. The driver Raghvendra was also super helpful and gave us lot of local info on the way.

The city has so manyyy shops of hand made chocolates and spices that you are bound to get confused as to which one you should go for. We tried this place and purchased a lot of chocolates as gift. Pricing is little high compared to other shops but hopefully worth it. They will give you minimum 300gm of chocolates but unlimited tasting before you purchase, so this helps you take a cautious call. Must visit and taste.

I feel one of the best place to buy homemade chocolates.. they have a good variety and amazing taste. They have minimum Quantity policy though, so that could be a minor setback, but their special chocolates and the assorted flavors are must have and worth the visit

I tried coffee chocolate and fell in love with those the moment I tasted it. Everyone loved the taste. Maybe it’s because coffee plantations are done locally and chocolates are also handmade. They have other varieties of chocolates as well but I felt like chocolate with coffee is best out of all. You can try before selecting.

Good collection of artisan chocolates, including a few really innovative ones, such as the paan flavored variant. Another recommendation is the set of nut-based chocolates (almond and cashewnut). Tourists to Coorg should drop by!

Good place to buy chocolates in Coorg. Quality of their products is good and they have wide variety they might be expensive however that's the money one would pay for quality. They do give free sample to taste before you buy and that makes it very easy for the buyer.

The place is actually a quarry, a beautiful location set between valley and a granite quarry! We went as a big group, spent some time there, few kids and adults took to ziplining- in some of the kids words "this is the best day of my life ever!". Thank you for a wonderful time! The quarry folks are well trained to guide the participants to have the best time!

This is a must for adrenaline lovers. The zip line is probably the biggest and undoubtedly best in India. The 800m 600m and 400m over the hills and breathtaking views from top is lifetime experience. Staffs are polite and professional. Cons: a lot of walk (better to say almost climb up) up to starting point. Bonus: A nice cafe with delicious dishes and some other fun-adventure activities also.

You have to trek for 10 min to reach the place where the activities can be played after making the registration. There will be no network. But they do provide wifi for filling the mandatory form. They have options for UPI payment. after the small trek you will reach the common area from where you will be provided with safety equipment. For the zip line you have to claim through small rocks (bit difficult for aged). There would be a rope. You have to use that to claim as it's very steep. The zip line is good. It will hold up to 120kgs. They have different options. The best one is 600ft as you have the option to break and see the view while you do the activity. You will enjoy the ride.. There is a cafe downhill where you can enjoy snacks and beverages. We visited on a Sunday. But there was no crowd at all. Better to visit in the day time as you will be able to see the view clearly and it would be easy to do the trek

Sidd, Muthanna and Giri have created an absolutely amazing, unique adventure course in the Quarry. We picked the Full Dosage package which includes all the activities on offer (Zipline, Rope Course, Rock climbing and Rappelling) and we would highly, HIGHLY recommend everyone to experience the whole package! They have all the safety precautions in place and one member of the staff/ the owners are always by your side encouraging and guiding you through the activities. We ended the day at the Cafe, which a cozy, quaint spot with delicious food on offer. An extra special shout-out to Sidd for helping us out with transportation! lovely people. perfect adventures and quite a view for campfire. we loved all the adventure sports here and booked the next night for a camp fire. however, it rained heavily on the day but the lovely people there still made the campfire possible. it was a surreal experience for me and my friends with the kind of view and the vibe there. if you are visiting coorg and looking for adventure sports or a bbq night with friends, you cant find a better place than this.

Great place to try out some adventures while on vacation.. they had different packages and single options to choose.. its worth the money you pay..the activities were actually lot of fun and built well.. i wonder how they built the activities in the midst of the wilds.. Zip line was the best out of all the activities..the staff were kind and clicked videos and photos for me

Had a wonderful experience overall. My wife and me went during March. Although it was sunny, the summit was quite shady and cool despite midday sun. After registration at the foothill and a small ‘trek’ for 5 minutes, we reached a base camp where we were geared up based on the activities we chose. We could either zip-line down from the base camp without any other activity, or go for another small (but steep) trek to reach the summit where we had treetop adventures. We chose to go for further activities Options we had (at the second summit) were 1. Treetop adventure set (obstacle course with 6 activities) 2. Get down using zip-lines 3. Get down by rappelling We chose treetop adventure course and then decided to rappel down to the base camp. We were accompanied by Mr Subbu who was very friendly, had good knowledge of the know-hows of the various gear, and excellent in teaching us the basics. He also volunteered to be our photographer, so thanks to him for that. Would recommend to anyone in decent physical shape looking for adventure activities

Its totally a very good lifetime experience as this is the first time for me to try these things. They are very kind, they know other languages too. The owner was very sweet and kind. The charges are fixed and yet it makes value for the money to gain some forest experience. Uphill was adventurous and exciting.

Great place for some adrenaline rush. The activities are doable for anyone. Though expensive, the crew did the job in the most professional, safe and patient manner. We'll maintained equipments and a cafe at the reception makes this a whole day affair of its a large group with kids, families or a corporate outing.

From the start of the trip, we were greeted with hospitality. The owner is extremely nice and friendly. The entire place is serene and scenic. We took the full dose plan which involved 6 treetop activities, 2 zip lines 400 and 600 feet long, which was extremely beautiful, and also, rock climbing and rappelling. It was overall an extremely fun experience and it was nice to just be with the nature and enjoy the wild and daunting rides

The food was not tasty at all, and we experienced inaccurate service. The food is expensive and it felt like they were just 'ready to serve' dishes placed on plates. I ordered a sandwich and received a cold one. Even after asking for it to be heated a bit, still received the same cold sandwich. I hope they'll improve.

Its a temple. Anyone can visit but there is a dress code to follow. Which I suggest you do if you want to visit the temple area of the compound. Anyone can roam around the pond area. Its a quiet place with occasional temple bell.

It's a beautiful temple in the middle of the city. The god here is Lord Shiva. There is a beautiful pond inside temple premises. The Omkareshwara Temple displays a unique style of architecture. The temple has a design that is quite similar to the ones seen in Muslim dargah. The structure of the temple comprises of a large central dome with four minarets standing at the four corners.

This coffee estate is pretty huge. We went here during April so there was barely any coffee or ripe fruits. Still we got to see & learn many things like different types of coffees & spices. We mostly saw plants/trees.. Well, The best time to visit is during Nov-Dec to see better coffee fruits.. Plantation visit Fees here is Rs.300 per person & there is a complimentary Coffee. You can also enjoy food here at Rs.500 per Thali.. It was good.

A beautiful tour guided by Ravi. Very well explained and each product and plant was shown. The coffee tasting at the end was amazing. We also opted for the lunch experience and I would highly recommend it. The staff explains the coffee making process as well depending on which blend you have purchased.

Mercara Gold Estate Coffee Plantation is a vast area carrying out plantation of coffee, spices and fruits. Mr. Ravi gave us a tour through the plantation and he was so good in explaining to us about the types of coffee and the other plantation. We had our lunch at the same place and the food was very delicious. Also the plantation counter had for sale the variety of coffee, spices, chocolates and much more at reasonable rates. All the staff including Mr. Ravi were so polite and welcoming, a big thank you to each one of you. We had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone who visits Coorg.

Undoubtedly best experience ! Coffee tour and tasting session was amazing. Had an opportunity to taste the authentic filter coffee and non-alcoholic drinks. Do buy their herbs ,condiments and coffee beans, price is on the heavier side but worth the price. Make sure to wear comfortable outfit and shoes . Place is located in verdant landscape and is approx 10km from Madikeri city.

I really liked this estate and the guide Mr. Salim was very professional. Coffee plantation and spices plantation was shown to us and explained very well. The museum & the coffee roasting room was also nice. We took veg thali and taste was very good. Bought few spices & coffee packs as the quality was excellent.

The Coffee and spice plantation tour experience was amazing. Kids and other members were engaged throughout the tour. The details of coffee and spice cultivation was explained well in detail by the guide. The process of plantation and coffee bean roasting was also explained. Chocolate testing was a treat followed by complimentary filter coffee served at the end. The tour fee is reasonable and worth.

Mercara Gold Estate is a great plantation for tours and buying original coffee and spices. Everything is sourced and produced fresh in front of your eyes. The tour guides are VERY knowledgable and give you a comprehensive tour explaining all they kmow about coffee and other plants grown in the region. (Best plantation tour in Coorg imo) There is also a cafe here which is decently good.

Nice place for tourists, here you will find Mr Ravi as your guide who is a very passionate guy when it comes to coffee, he guides you through the estate and provides knowledge about all plantations. At a price of ₹200 per head you get a guided tour of the estate and a cup of coffee with options to buy coffee grown at this plantation. The tour takes approximately 40 mins. Only cash is accepted here. It's a place where you can learn a lot, and it's a great experience.

Visited this amazing place last week , Climate was great to start with and had an amazing tour with Ravi, who is well knowledgeable on everything around. Had explained all types of plantations very well. Due to climate change most of the plantation we couldn’t see the fruits or seeding but got the required information on each plant. It was nice to explore the nature in a very informative manner and that last sip of coffee ☕️ ☺️

Definitely a worth visit! Their walking tour is for 1.5 hrs approximately which includes complimentary coffee at the end. They charged us 200/person. The price point is worth it. But the coffee could be better (we didn't like the taste at all). We got to see some amazing plants like sagu, avocado and Malabar tamarind. Our guide was super fun and he would explain everything in a very interesting and fun way. Later he took us to see the factory and showed all the functioning of machines there. His hate for chikori is something I will never forget. We even tried their non veg thali for 400/-. It was yummy and quantity was enough for two people. Their home made chocolates are heavenly and coffee is very good, strong and aromatic. Overall their efforts deserve all the respect. The land owner is a Punjabi guy and I am a huge admirer of him already. Coming from north, settling in all the way south and highlighting southern culture and values is commendable.

The coffee plantation tour was a lovely experience. The food there is good. We liked their Pork Chilli very much. Despite being a Coffee lover, I didn't know so much about it. Mr Ravi, our tour guide was a knowledgeable person with great sense of humour. It was a thoroughly enriching experience.

This was a fantastic plantation tour experience. We arrived and had some very good coffee in the cafe (there is a large variety). For 300 rupees each we then took part in a tour which lasted almost 2 hours, including complimentary coffee and chocolate made on site. The guide is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. You finish at the newly opened "world coffee museum" at the end, which gives a worldwide perspective on the main crop growing here. I learnt a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Great experience!! Mr. Ramesh is a super guide. Request the help desk to send Mr.Ramesh as your tour guide. He is a MSc in Agriculture and a molecular biologist with good knowledge of plants. He tells us how the coffee is grown, the difference in all coffee plants, etc. other Indian spice plants were also shown there. 300/- per person is the entry charge which includes the estate tour, coffee roasting, coffee museum and a complimentary filter coffee. Arguably the best place in town to get knowledge of coffee and visit farms. Tour guide Salim is extremely knowledgeable and courteous person. He paitently explains about the farm and farming and also answers the questions. They show all type of coffee plants, other spices as well. Roasting and packing of coffee is also shown. Tour fees is 300 pp They also serve food at the canteen which is sumptuous and delicious. It is highly recommended that if you reach at lunch time plz eat there. After the tour, they give complimentary filter coffee. It is highly recommended and one must not miss this place

A great way to connect with nature. Had amazing coffee. Saw many plants. The guide was really good. He explained everything in detail unfortunately I forgot his name. You can get original coffee there without adding any artificial colours. Also you can get different types of tea and spices in pure form. They show you how they make coffee powder from the beans. Everything is amazing. You can also see the woods there which are famous in the Pushpa movie. Amazing visit. The end of June is a great time to visit. If you are lucky enough, a snake might cross your way too but they are non- venomous.

I visited Coorg Ayur spa in Christmas time. I love the ambiance which is very peaceful and relaxing. All thanks to the staff members they are very polite and gentle. They treat their clients very nicely and give them a very relaxing experience with their excellent services. I would recommend to the visitors who are visiting Coorg must try once.
