Great experience! The whole team was very nice and the dives were amazing. We saw many turtles, reef sharks, ship wrecks, octopus and much more, including during a night dive. My wife did the advance open water course and the instructors Otavio and Eddie were very very good. Prices were also quite fair. Highly reccomended!

Great service from the initial email enquiry we sent to Ayon, to the final dive with did with the team. Everyone was friendly, professional and really focused on safety. We hadn't dived for a year so Ayon recommended a refresher course before our first dive, which we found really useful. We did eight dives in total, with Eddie and Sony, who found some great things for us to look at (including a Pikachu nudibranch - as well as lots of Turtles!) and would definitely recommend the team whatever your experience level. From the team at the office, to the boat crew, to the dive team, we couldn't fault the service we received. Thanks to Maria too who, despite being busy teaching courses, was always available for the odd diving tip :). We will definitely be returning.

My GF and I passed our open water course in this center. It was a great experience. My GF was a little afraid after the first pool session with all the security exercice, but the dive master pit her in confidence to keep going until the first open dive, and she enjoyed it and now we both certified. Very nice, polite and helpful service, offers good diving sites, professional diving guides and well maintained equipment. The divings were great, I've been to Sunset Reef and Turtle Heaven. Lots of underwater life to see there, especially big amount of turtles. The were two of us diving today and the other guy was really inexperienced, but the dive master was really helpful and understanding keeping him safe all the time. And what was really great he let me dive around not keeping me close, only showing places with interesting fish or turtle or moray.

Did the PADI Open Water course with Maria. She was super helpful and patient to make sure I feel comfortable under water. Overall, an amazing experience. Would definitely return 🤙🏼

Excellent dive center in Gili Meno! Highly recommended. Me and my sister went there after having taken a break from diving for a long time and Blue Marlin does an excellent refresher and onboarding of recreational divers. Friendly and warm atmosphere with bery competent staff. They take dive security seriously, they are passionate divers allaround.

I came for a DSD and left with a PADI Open Water Certification! 🤿 I felt so comfortable doing the DSD with Loïs that I decided to pursue for 2 more days and get certified. She explained everything with a lot of positive (motivating!) energy, was very patient and professional and I am very grateful she was my instructor! 🥹 The whole courses (theory on the PADI app and practice with Loïs) were available in French! We went for 4 dives together and she showed me green turtles, baby sharks, nudibranches, a squid, fishes and a lot of great different spots! Thank you to the staff as well for their assistance and being so flexible and arranging to my needs! 🙏🏽

I recently completed my open water course at Blue Marlin Gili Meno, and it was an incredible experience. The entire team was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about diving. My teacher, Eddie, deserves a special mention. His patience and expertise made the learning process enjoyable and safe. He instilled confidence in me as a beginner diver, and I couldn't have asked for a better instructor.

Great first diving experience! We had Lawrence as instructor and he was amazing. His explanations were very clear and he made sure everyone felt confident before going underwater. We liked it so much that we decided to go for a second dive the next day and now we are considering to do the certification next year (we didn’t have enough time during our stay).

Great experience! All the staff are very kind and professional. I had 5 amazing dives at different spots around the Gili Islands. Each time, they followed protocols, conducted briefings, welcomed questions, and ensured all safety measures were in place. My husband and I did the scuba open water course here and had such a great time. Jens (the owner) was lovely and our instructor Johan was amazing!! Johan was very encouraging - we felt safe and couldn’t recommend the place enough! Due to personal reasons, we were not able to complete the final two open water dives within the 3 consecutive days as planned however Jens and Johan were very flexible and accommodating, allowing us to complete these when we were ready and comfortable a few days later. The dives themselves were pretty cool, we saw plenty fish and turtles, even a black fin reef shark (I think it was called). 😊 The cafe Bubbles also serves delicious food catering to all dietary requirements! Very tasty. As mentioned before, couldn’t recommend this place enough! 😊

We were lucky to stay at Divine Divers. Amazing atmosphere and best location. Top quality diving instructors. Snorkelling of the beach is perfect, at low tide walk 150m to Diana’s before snorkelling. Turtles all around! Great wifi. Rooms are basic with free still water and good AC.😃

As someone who has only recently completed their open water course and is just starting out on their diving journey, I cannot recommend Divine Divers enough. They not only made me feel comfortable in the water, but they went out of their way to give me more of the skills required to become a competent diver. Amazing dive center with a fantastic team, friendly service and a warm inviting atmosphere. The quality of the equipment and instructors are high, and the dive sites offer an incredible array of sea life. We saw so many turtles, baby sharks, manta rays, octopus and many beautiful fish. The restaurant next door, bubbles has really good food and fresh juices to keep you recharged between dives. This dive center is great for couples, solo traveler’s looking to make friends and families too. They really take care of you here, we left feeling like family. We can’t wait to come back!!!

Divine Divers definitely do live up to their name. Becky and Jens, the German-Dutch owners are running a great dive operation – friendly, relaxed, easy-going and at the same time well organized and meticulously following safety guidelines and rules. The guides and instructors as well as the rest of the staff were great to be with and did an outstanding job. I just did six days of fun diving but heard lots of positive comments of other divers who did their OW certification or an advanced course. Their location on Gili Meno is excellent, it is close to the best dive spots on all three Gili islands. Divers stayed at different places on Meno but it is best to get a room at Divine Divers if they have a vacancy. They are clean, recently renovated and absolutely adequate. Last, but not least, the restaurant Bubbles has some of the best food on the island. So under as well as above the water a great choice.

If you stay at Divine Divers on Gili Meno, you don't want to leave no more! You're literally in paradise, surrounded by the friendliest people, the sea and the sun. Everybody at Divine Divers goes the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable. The staff, whether service, kitchen, reception, dive masters, instructors or boat crew are all very attentive and help wherever they can. The food is amazing and you might find some surprisingly innovative dishes here. The rooms are clean and comfortable and cleaned daily if you wish so. Divine Divers is a dive resort, they have a big training pool in the backyard which you can use as a non-diver as well. The diving is as the name says "divine"! There is a lot of different dive sites they can take you to and you will always be fortunate to see amazing creatures. There are turtles everywhere! :D Divine Divers is situated directly at the beach, so even if you are not diving it will take you 20 seconds from your room into the sea to swim and snorkel, or just enjoy the beautiful sun. The beach is facing West, so you will be rewarded with exceptional sunsets every evening. My personal thanks to all the staff and of course the terrific owners Becky and Jens, who really created a lovely place over here! In my opinion, if you are traveling Bali or Lombok, take a few days, escape the noise of traffic and party and relax at Divine Divers on Gili Meno!

My experience of diving with them was highly professional and well organised but in a no pressure and relaxed way. Super good experience that I couldn't ask for more! First sea dive I realised I was not so ready for it, and enter in anxiety mode. Happy I had the coolest instructor who really took care of me and completely changed my focus. After a while it was an amazing dive... a whole new beautiful world 🩵 The following days where the greatest! It's super good when you have the opportunity to learn with such an passionate person. The only problem you may find it's that probably you'll get addicted to dive and eventually the course ends. But we'll! Baby steps!

I have had a great time scuba diving with the team at Divine Divers. All people were very lovely, fun, welcoming and professional at the same time. The facilities and boat are really nice, modern and clean. While i enjoyed fundiving the surrounding reefs my girlfriend did the Open Water course. I recommand this place for everyone who wants to go / try Scuba Diving.

Wonderful stay at Divine Divers. The room and bathroom were clean. The resort is ON the beach, both cafe next doors serve great food. We did not dive but snorkeled and were welcomed as warmly as any divers. Sarah gave us great snorkeling tips for around the island. On our first snorkel we saw two turtles! Highly recommended. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff are always helpful and courteous. There are great dive experiences at the Meno wall and Night dive at Maya slope with professional guides to help the less experienced divers. We also have the freedom to explore many nice snorkeling spots within walking distance. Divine Divers has one of the best sunset locations. With a good restaurant you could stay here exclusively if you wished.

Such an amazing diving resort ! I can only recommend you to stay there if you are on Gili Meno. The owners are very caring, make it a point of honor to make your stay unforgettable and for us who are divers, they have always made sure to organize dives according to our expectations and level. My first acquaintance with diving took place here at Divine Dive Center and it was an unforgettable experience!😍! I saw turtles, beautiful iridescent corals and many beautiful fish. Mary was a wonderful and attentive teacher, she swam with me throughout the dive and did everything to make me feel calm and in the end swimming was like meditation.🐠🐢☀️ I like it ! Where do I start? From the first minute we felt incredibly comfortable on Gili Meno and with our diving courses at Divine Divers. The initially planned five days trip on Gili Meno turned into a two extentend stay on our trip. The "Open Water course" became an "Advanced Open Water course". Becky, Jens and the whole team are good people with heart. If you want to dive in paradise and in a relaxed atmosphere with cool people, this is the place for you! Keep it up, next year you'll have us on your side for at least four weeks.

We just finished a week’s stay and diving with Divine Divers who operate from Gili Meno ( off north Lombok). We’ve dived all over Indonesia and our experience with Divine was one of the best we’ve had. Becky and Jens run a tight ship and the service is friendly and efficient. But they go out of their way to make you feel more like a friend than a guest. The rooms are clean and neat, everything works and everyone on staff is helpful and happy to chat - great culture. The food at Bubbles was amazingly good - a fusion of Indonesian and western - and all very fresh. We had fun with Divine Divers and I recommend them if you are wanting to dive in the Gilis.

I can't say if the diving experience is good or not as we could not experience it. WE went there and booked 2 dives for the next day ( introduction + fun dives) .WE filled in the forms and agreed on a time. They texted us end of the afternoon asking us to change the date. They were not available anymore ( i guess a bigger group came) we were available all the day but not after (as we were leaving) but they could not find any time slot for us and they cancelled. i think it was not very professional to say it end of the afternoon as we had to find another one available. So be careful when you book ....

Cute little sea turtle 🐢 sanctuary. No one was around when I passed by so hopefully they are being cared for. I am sure once things pick up on the island, the sanctuary will be back operating at full capacity.

Went to walk by the place to try and check out the sanctuary. The turtles are still relatively young at 3 months old. They would need to stay for a couple more months and when they are 7 months old then would be able to release them to the sea. As mentioned by the owner when I went to drop by.

We had a great time releasing the baby tirtles into the sea, it is a wonderful experience and was just magical watching the small turtle make its way into the ocean

Don’t go there!!! It’s cruelty!! These turtles will never survive!! They will all die!!! A sanctuary is for animals who are hurt, to release them if they are strong enough. The people there collect the eggs and put the baby’s in a pool for stupid tourists to make money!! It’s like a zoo! Worst! These turtles belong in the ocean!!

Pop in with no expectations for a quick 5 minute visit. Great to see the little guys being given a higher chance of survival. No cost but donations are accepted. Please note the hut is smaller than expected and could be easy to walk past.

A must-visit destination for nature lovers and those interested in marine conservation efforts. Located in Gili Meno, Indonesia, the sanctuary provides a safe haven for endangered sea turtles. Visitors can witness the rehabilitation process, learn about the efforts to protect these majestic creatures, and even participate in the release of rehabilitated turtles back into the ocean. The sanctuary is well-maintained and staffed by knowledgeable and friendly guides who are passionate about their work. The stunning scenery and crystal-clear waters surrounding the sanctuary only add to the overall experience. Highly recommended for a meaningful and educational excursion.

This is NOT a sanctuary. This is someone profiting from ‘saving’ turtles. Keeping many baby turtles for prolonged periods in small, shallow pools teaches them nothing about the outside world and how to survive. They need to hit the sea as soon as, check back to see where they’re from and maybe someday they’ll find their way back. Most turtles hatch at night away from scorching temperatures so releasing them in the day also risks killing them in the heat. Sure, turtle survival rate is low out in the wild but these kids have no chance. Protecting eggs from predators so they hatch? Sure. But after that, stick them in the sea where the circle of life will do its thing.

It's great to see the establishment of this turtle conservation centre but many improvements can be done around the area to enhance the hygiene and system of that place. The staff said the baby turtle was to be released at about 3 months + but the notice board stated 7-9 months, which is inconsistent. They are charging 150000 Rupiah for 1 baby turtle release but it goes straight to the person working there but not the donation box, which may not directly contribute to the space improvement fund. But still, good to help the locals.

The sanctuary itself is small but you get to see baby turtles and that was nice. They accept donations and they are a stop on the snorkelling tours from Gili T.

Super cute turtles.. They seem to be taking really good care.. I don't understand much about what needs to be done and whatnot but they seemed to know what they are doing and everything was humane. You can release a turtle for 200k which is alot but they use that to help more turtles.

Mr Bolong know his turtles by heart and how to take good care of them. Protecting them from the threats of humans, of the nature, thank to him now there are lots of turtles in the sea around Gili Meno, which was not true 20 years ago. He is also very humble so you will not see him bragging about what he is doing, he's just doing it.

We took Bluewater Express from Gili Air to Serangan. The boat came a bit late, but we were still on time in Serangan. Boat was clean, if asked you got a free water bottle, some prerecorded "safety instructions" were played over the boxes in the beginning, just the air conditioning was not working so good, but was still ok. All in all, just one person puked (not us) so for us the boat trip was good. Luggage handling without problems. Hotel drop off, was unsettling us. During the booking process we were shown a shared transport free of charge. But after booking we received an email that our homestay is outside the free area and we have to pay IDR 170k in addition to get to our place. If that is not OK with us, we could only be dropped off at a place 2km away from our place. We then checked the list of hotels with free drop-off on their page and found one just next to ours. We requested to be brought to this place instead (for free). That worked. Nevertheless this was very annoying as we thought with BlueWater Express you pay more to avoid these kind of rip offs which normally come with the cheaper fastboats... Would have given five stars, if they would have not tried to charge us more for the drop off...

Best speed boats in the Bali area. Definitely worth the extra cost as the boats are airconditioned and the staff is very professional and punctual.

Don’t use their land transfer service! One of their drivers scammed us! We used land transfer service from Bluewater express and it was horrible. The driver asked to stop at a coffee plantation out of nowhere and just before taking us to this location! He suggested there wasn’t anything at the boat station. We didn’t fully understand what this visit entailed either. I was confused but thought maybe it is something offered by Bluewater express. When we got there, we were immediately given a tour of the plantation and the guy wouldn’t stop talking, Rushing us around. There wasn’t any other boat passengers. At the end, we were taken to a gift shop that a coffee price is 4 times more than what we would have paid in the UK. We felt obliged to buy because of plantation tour we were made to attend because of our lack of understanding!. It was clearly a scam. Don’t use their land transfer service!

Best trip to the Gili! Super smooth, comfortable and they even provide water and candy on board. Best choice if you are travelling to the Gili or Lombok from Bali.

Spacious seats, AC, nice staff, safe and comfortable boat, clear information. You even get water and mentos. What’s more to wish for? Much better than other operators (especially safety and info)!!

Highly recommend! I was contacted by a real person days before our trip with our ticket and available to answer any questions. The entire process was very organized. The staff was helpful at all locations. Our stuff and we were dry. We felt very safe on board and the boat was in good condition. The seats on the boat were very comfortable and we received a small bottle of water when we got on board.

This was a clean and professional quick boat trip for us from Gili Air back to Bali. The cabin was cooled (for the most part, it broke down twice) by air conditioning. The hosts offered complimentary water on arrival and were stocked with beer and snacks for sale. They also had motion sickness pills available for those who needed them. Whilst the price is a little dearer than other providers, if you value your safety, space and sanity I highly recommend travelling with BlueWater Express.

I recently traveled with Blue Water Express from Gili Air to Serangan (Bali), and I must say, despite the slightly higher price, it was absolutely worth it. We traveled frim gili trawangan to bali The staff very helpful and well organized but when they storage our luggage they didn't covered them so all our clothes were wet.

Amazing well run company. I hate travelling in boats on choppy waters but out of all the companies I found this one the best. Look after you from start to finish, take all your luggage and sort out your transport to your accommodation. Would absolutely recommend.

Couldn't fault these guys at all. Great pick-up service from the hotel, driver was very prompt, check-in very easy, staff super friendly. There is a small cafe at their Serangan port. And on arrival into Padang Bai the staff were very helpful and looked after all their passengers to make sure they weren't scammed by the taxi drivers waiting at the boat harbor. When I'm back I'll definitely be booking with BlueWater Express again.

We heard bad things about the ferries to the gili Islands being overcrowded and unsafe. The blue water express was very well organised. Very professional and on time. The seats were wide and comfortable. Glad we chose this company!

Small island you can get around within 20 minutes walk, quite island, not too many restaurants. Hotel is good and quiet only came here for snorkelling. Some part of the island is full of rubbish and nobody cleans them up. Not too many things to do . Only stay 1-2 days otherwise you have to ask your hotel to get you a boat to Gili Tawan every time you want to have lunch and dinner which 1 time of return boat is 500k idr !!! Not cheap.

The islands are a tourist destination. Each island has several resorts, usually consisting of a collection of huts for tourists, a small pool and restaurant. The largest Indonesian settlement is located on Gili Air, however due to the amount of western expatriates who live on Trawangan together with the locals, it has become the more densely populated island, concentrated in a township stretching along its east side (this is also where the majority of tourist development has taken place). Automobiles and motorized traffic are prohibited on the islands by local ordinance, so the preferred method of transportation is by foot and bicycle or the horse-drawn carriage called a cidomo. Scuba diving and free diving in and around the Gilis is also common due to the abundance of marine life and coral formations. Most famous diving spots are Shark point, Manta point and Simon's reef

A paradise on earth I really recommend special Gilli Meno The water is very clear and warm and you can swim with turtles and snorkel and see the most colored fishies and also baby shark’s The photos can’t reflect how amazing are this islands

There are no Cars which is actually a good things but unfortunately people are using horse carriages here, which is extremely disturbing to watch as the horses are being maltreated, look skinny, wounded, ect. I will not return until they come up with an animal friendly solution because it really hurted my heart and ruined my vacation to see these beautiful creatures suffering!

The West side of Gili Air is best place to watch sunset. The sea water is clean and the water in front of Mola Mola Resort Gili Air is only around 1 meter deep in high tide. It is safe to swim in the sea for anyone who is not a good swimmer in the beach of Mola Mola Resort. Always check and ask, if you want to go swimming or snorkeling in Gili Air. Enjoy and have fun

Loved Gilli Islands. snorkelled and saw the ship wreck with amazing fish and turtles swimming about.

Beautiful islands, BUT the transport to and from Gili is a disgrace and a scam. They sell tickets to already fully booked boats and when you tell them to put you on another boat, they ask you to pay for another boat. Everybody has a delay of at least 3-4 hours. If you have something planned on the return trip (plane trips, other plans), you'll lose everything and they don't even care. When eventually you're on the boat to Bali, even if they say it's a direct trip, they stop on Gili Meno and Lombok and instead of 2 and half hour, the trip back to Bali takes 4 hours. They also try to scam you with transfers from the Bali port to your accommodation and then they tell you that the transfer to your hotel in Bali takes 4 hours. After this, they try to convince you to take a private taxi for 500 IDR after you already paid for the transfer. IT's a disgrace and I strongly don;t recommend visiting this island. Better choose Nusa Penida and have a wonderful time, with nice people that don;t try to scam you!

Gili Trawangan was first of the 3 small islands between Lombok as its main island, and Bali. The nice thing is, as a small island there is no pollution from car and motorcycle, as there is only bikes, horse carriages and electric bikes here. So it is kept natural. The main attraction I enjoy here is its sunrise and sunset .. and how to enjoy in between. The sunrise side of the island is facing towards Lombok and is the side where boats are at harbour. So it is a nice thing to enjoy. While the sunset, which is very beautiful, is at the other side of the island. Have sandwich and drinks to enjoy the sunset. In between sunrise and sunset, a lot of food to taste, coffees, gelato and many other delicacies. Biking, snorkling, and others will push our adrenaline more, and be more happy. Surely at nights there are still a lot of eating and music to enjoy.

Gili Air is my favorite place after Italy. The tranquility of the island, the purity of the people, unique sea animals, pristine beach and its not-so-crazy night life is beyond words. If you to Bali, plan a few days there. You won't regret. Gili T, on the contrary, is my least favorite place.

Beautiful islands but so sad to see the level of rubbish all over the beaches and in the sea. The locals try and do their best but it’s sad to see. Speaking to some locals the government needs to do more on laws on trash removal!

Gili Trawangan, They are burning trash in the middle of the island, every day, non-stop, all of the trash. Not to mention smaller piles of trash in private houses. Smoke covers the whole of the island. You can't sleep, you can't breathe, headache, sinuses problems, head spinning, etc. When burned, plastic releases all sorts of cancerous chemicals. STAY AWAY

The Gili Islands are 3 very small islands off the coast of Lombok , the next island east of Bali. You can reach the Gilis by boat from Bali or fly to Lombok and take a taxi over the mountains to a coastal village that has outriggers to ferry you out to the Gilis. Actually, the taxi stops just before you enter the village and you pay a small fee for a horse-drawn cart to take you to the boat ramp. It's just a way for the villagers to make a little money and it's a pleasant ride. At the boat ramp, you board a boat going to your island of choice. There are three island: Gili Air, Gili Meno, and Gili Trawangan. We took the boat to Gili Air. It is the closest to Lombok and only took about 30 minutes. It is also the smallest of the 3. It's village is in the center of the island with many coconut trees and people going about their daily activities. After walking through the village, we came to some bungalows that looked nice, right on a white sand beach with some beautiful coral close to shore. This resort had a few bungalows and an open-air center dining room (all meals included). We snorkeled and relaxed on the beach. At night in the dining room, one of the workers entertained us with a guitar, singing Indonesian folk songs. The next day we took a boat to Gili Trawangan, skipping the middle island of Meno. Trawangan is the biggest of the 3 island and has a hill with a WW2 bunker. It's nice to hike up there for a great view of the other islands and the Lombok coastline. Upon landing, we settled on the easternmost bungalow resort as it was the least busiest area. The beach is beautiful with white sand and shallow crystal-clear water. Many tropical fish can be seen very close to shore, so make sure you've brought your snorkel gear. There are some more luxurious resorts with swimming pools, but I figure, who needs a pool with the beach and clear warm water right there. Besides, the bungalows are more private and cheaper. Again, your 3 meals are included in the open-air dining room, but one day I hired a boat to sail us around the islands and trolled for fish. Fir the first time in my life, I saw flying fish. It was amazing. Soon, I snagged a big fish, a bonito. I took it back to my resort and took over the kitchen. I cut the fish into chunks, skewered them, spiced them with whatever I could find in the kitchen, and BBQed them. There was enough for every guest to have two big sticks. Afterwards, many of the guests told me it was the best meal they had there. Anyway, I recommend the Gilis for a bit of off-the-beaten-path adventure, beauty, and relaxation. We hope to get back there someday.

Very sad to see the islands and the ppl of it this bad, I have been to gili islands so many times but this visit to Gili is my last visit and I will never go back, it’s very sad , everything there is terrible and almost everyone lies!!!!! Save your time and money and go somewhere else with less stress and hassle.

Bigger than I expected. Nice and full at the moment (March) due to being end of rainyseason. Saw a monitor lizard. Unfortunately the walkway around it wasn't very safe so we didn't use it and stuck to the road - meaning you couldn't actually see the lake as there's mangroves between the road and the lake.

It's an easy spot to reach with your bike. Walk around the lake on its wooden walkway at your own risk. The wind is nice.

Visited on March 2020. It is a nice, beautiful place to visit. The view was good. No seating place, so you can just enjoy the view while standing and take some good pictures :D I went here when a heavy rain hit the night before. So me and my friend had some "fun" outbound session with our bikes through some big water puddles hehee. It would be great if it wasn't raining the day before tho! :D

It's a pretty lake with a boardwalk the entire way around. Small fish are easily seen. However the boardwalk is in shambles and very unsafe. Hopefully they fix it as it would be a nice walk otherwise.

has been developed well, it's just not fully developed. the plan is for a mangrove lake. The place is hot because it is in the middle of a small island surrounded by the sea, but the developer has built gazebos for shelter

The only satlwater lake from 3 of the Gili islands, and this one is pretty huge & somehow it feels like intimidating at first. There some villas/hotel & bar/restaurant nearby. We tried to cross the bridge but it was broken so we decided not to take the risk and came the other way around. The interesting part is probably the swamp that looks like a forest but this one is dry, it was very cool. Other than that nothing much to see. But if you're visiting the island, this place is worth to check.

I attempted to walk on the bridge and my foot went straight through the wood. I could have broken my ankle. Would not recommend.
