Nice waterfall. We went there 7am so we are the only one at the waterfall and it was great. Please support the guy selling souvenir at the entrance.

Beautiful waterfall, only a short walk to access it. ₽20 per person entry. Wasn't very busy, only a few other people swimming here. We came around 11am. If you come first thing in the morning, good chance you'll have it to yourself. There is a rope swing, and you can climb up on the waterfall and jump in. Water is decently deep but not super deep so be careful and do a depth check for yourself first.

A rare review with my face in it (lol) Lugnason falls is definitely the most underrated spot I've been. With its' beautiful rock-formed falls, and its' clear waters, I don't know why a lot of people don't name it first when you ask for a tourist destination in siquijor. It should be on the top of the list. You'll know when you get there. I suggest going there as early as possible, as I believe the water is more pristine and a definitely lot less crowded. I've visited this falls really early in the morning, so I was the first one there and where able to enjoy the pool much more.

Beautiful and worth the visit. Take the zodiac tour with a guide. If not up for a water fall hike the final fall and swimming area is fun albeit appears it can get quite crowded. Whereas the zodiac hike has several long periods and moments where we were all alone. Absolutely beautiful. You do have to be physically able to climb and climb though.

Awesome experience! 12 waterfalls hike is so much fun. Get a guide to take you, it's free but they will deserve a nice donation at the end. Richard, our guide, was crazy in the best way possible, with the rope swing, rock climbing and waterfall jumping, you can't have more fun than this in Siquijor! Thanks Richard 🤞🏾

Another great waterfall group. There's 12 waterfalls here, each representing one of the constellations. The big one has different height spots you can jump from. It's also not a difficult trek at all.

First of all.. all the guides on this place is Really nice so please support them! They really do a lot for this place, (cleaning, rebuilding, maintaining) our guide was named Luis (Great guy) and we had the best day at this place. He took us around to the different waterfalls and when we arrived at the chilling pools we felt like having a beer while sitting in the pools so we asked if there was anywhere we could buy a beer, he told us he would go to the store and get us beers and so he did, in 10 minutes he was back with 4 ice cold beers. This guy was just happy and positive all the way through the trip! Ni matter what we asked for he would show us, get it, tell us about it! Best day at lugnason Falls! Oh! and we though him some danish, so If you could teach him some other language it would be great! Have fun!

I recommend going here early in the morning. We got here around 9am and got the place to ourselves. So peaceful and quiet.. and the tour guides at the entrance are very friendly! No entrance fees. Tour guide fees will depend how much youll pay.

They had a rope that you could swing and land in the water. The water was muddy and you could not see the bottom. You would of course think that it is deep enough so that you could swing from the rope that was 5-6 meters up, but the depth was only about 1.5-1.9 meters!!! Really dangerous! And there were no warning signs of shallow water or anything. Cut off the rope or at least put up a warning sign!

These falls are super nice to visit, also free to visit so definitely include it. A small rock pool sits at the bottom on the fall that looks really relaxing, and while it’s not the largest or most impressive waterfall, it was maybe the most beautiful on the island that I visited owing to how quiet it was, very people people crowded around this place which helps to see the islands beauty.

Less touristy than cambugahay falls. But Does not disapoint. You can jump on the main waterfall it's about 15 to 20 feet drop.

The entrance fee is only 20 pesos per person and it's well worth it. We HIGHLY recommend hiring one of the guides, it completely changes the experience. Our guide (Ren) took tons of photos for us and showed us all 12 waterfalls - each a zodiac sign. Ren was a great guide, super energetic, and very friendly. Definitely get a guide here - you pay by donation, no set price.

Hey Emily here from London ! i would just like to share my unforgettable experience i had at lugnason falls! I walked up to the entrance were i was greeted by the most loveliest people named Gilbert Luis, dean, kim and a police lady called ma'am , they all introduced themselves so politely then asked if i liked adventure this was a huge yes for me!! They said i needed a tour guide who would take me through the jungle to explore all 12 or 13 waterfalls! So now time for tour guide i had the Amazing GILLBERT! The most unbelievable tour guide i could of asked for he had so much knowledge about the falls and all the different waterfalls and all there individual names and he knew his route of the jungle like the back of his hand! I was in very safe hands!! Being a solo traveler this put me at ease :) He helped me take some great pictures that i will have forever to look back on. The adventure was everything and more for me as im a spiritual wild at heart girl who is obsessed with nature / animals / waterfalls / jungles & everything outside!! so being in this environment for me walking through waterfalls that are names after the zodiac signs was so unforgettable! We have now reached the last waterfall & headed back up to the entrance i felt so overwhelmed with my whole experience! There is a beautiful art shop with hand crafted art for sale at the entrance of the falls as well as a stunning jewellery shop with hand crafter jewellery made from gem stones crystals everything natural and hand made dream catchers so unbelievable lugnason falls you have made my trip to Siquijor one i will remember & cherish forever I cannot thank everyone enough thank you so much Guys! I will be back!!!!!!X :D

Pretty average falls. No shallow part. Hard to climb to get a good jump. There is minimal space for your stuff, so I do not recommend bringing valuables here. There’s nothing else to do, as you cannot swim around because of all the people jumping.

Would 10/10 recommend asking for a guide to check out all 12 of the falls. We had a great time. Thanks Richard!

Nice waterfalls , quite busy on the day we visited . This wasn't a bad thing as we got to watch lots of other people doing the jumps and swings , they are high ! Too high for us anyway 😂 Worth visiting even if you don't want to jump yourself.

A very good waterfall. Go early it can be packed fast. Suppose to see 12 waterfalls related to astrological sign. Could have seen 4 without a guide. The main waterfall is pure joy for jumping, around 5 places to do it. But ask local around where to jump or see people jumping before you do.

A very intense experience, swimming besides the whale sharks. They're very big yet very calm, you don't need to be afraid. The instructor from the sea pearl divers is really kind and took a lot of photos of us. Very easy to book through whatsapp chat before the date, no need to pay upfront too. Very amazing experience with them. Recommended.

amazingly run dive centre! extremely professional with the booking as we booked the night before the dive but they were punctual with replies and available late to book. even provided free pickup in sanjuan area which made our decision easier. great dive centre and equipment, speedboat to bring us to our dive sites where we had a nice drift, saw many things like lionfish trumpet fish frogfish barracudas and many turtles. owned by a dutch guy and Filipino lady who were very friendly...been on the island for many years. prices were also similar to other operators, do give them a try!!

Fantastic place to get your certification! I couldn’t be happier. Valerie initially gave me all the pre-trip info I needed before arriving, and Jay was incredibly cordial with any questions and concerns I had. Also he provided free shuttle service at any stay-in in the area! A nice bonus. My instructor, Martin was as sublime of an instructor I could’ve had. Very informative despite English not being his native tongue, and always used positive reinforcement to keep me confident in anything I wasn’t positive about. My buddies were awesome as well, and we made a great team. I couldn’t recommend this dive establishment enough! Thanks to everyone here, especially the three mentioned! Will always recommend them for life!

I had my Open Water course here. Best value for money dives. Lovely family-owned business. The establishment takes care of their equipment. All in good condition! Fair prices for items to buy too. You can also ask for great local recos on hotels and restos. Will be back!

I just finished my Advanced Open Water with Ben today after 3 great days of diving. Ben is a great dive master, relaxed and knowledgeable! I had great fun with him, saw turtles, octopus and lots of fish while diving. All the equipment looked new and well maintained and the crew looks after you. Would really recommend!

I was lucky enough to be recommended sea pearl divers by the hostel owner at "fable" where I was staying. I'm so happy he did. On my first visit to siquijor I enjoyed some fun dives but then came back 3 weeks later to do my advanced open water course. Really professional and helpful across the whole workforce you meet. The night dive I did is the best dive ive ever done and Richard my instructor was a huge part of the reason why. I really couldn't recommend this place enough ✌️

Did a few dives at Sea Pearl Divers and had a very good time with them. Super friendly and professional. Equipment is also very good and in good conditions. Regulators are Apeks and the BCDs are Aqualung. Most of the dive sites are very similar, with very well preserved corals, and a wide variety of small fish and micro elements. I have also seen the biggest turtle I have ever seen in my life.. It was huge!!! Defenitely recommend this school.

Best dive shop in town. Professional staff (masters from different countries so they can help in many languages), high quality equipment, family run business, fair and honest prices. We did our Open Water with Jay in 2017, and now we are back on Siquijor and just did our Advanced course, once again with Jay. They’re the best and we can’t wait to come back and dive with Sea Pearl again ♥️

Ben was fun to be with and extremely competent trainer. The staff is friendly, welcoming and the equipment is good. I never dove before. I did my Open Water certificate there and I'm really happy with it. I got sick in the middle of my training, but everything got handled easily and I got some time off to recover. They offered breakfast between dives in the morning. It feels like everyone is happy to be there and there's a good overall energy. Regarding the dives, we saw many turtles, ghost fishes, and even a sea snake! This is the only dive shop in San Juan that is on PADI website, that's why I chose it. I even got the chance to pass the theoretical part before I arrive in Siquijor, which is super convenient.

Had such an incredible experience diving with this company. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming! Richard was a great instructor who took lots of pictures of us and when I forgot my GoPro they came back for it at night to help me retrieve it! We did our Advanced diving course with J and had a great experience! He really looked out for us in and out of the water, answering any questions we were unsure of. He tailored the course for us so we would be able to get an early boat. The staff at Sea Pearl divers were all wonderful. We were brought to amazing coral sites. Couldn’t recommend them enough. Really really fun few days.

Excellent dive shop. We did 5 dives with them in 2 days. The staff were flexible with planning, more than capable dive masters, and very knowledgeable about the various marine wildlife we encountered. We did most dives with Ben, whose relaxed and humorous attitude was exactly to our liking. We think prices of the dives and rental equipment were very reasonable and would recommend other divers to visit this outfit.

We had the best dive experiences with sea pearl divers! The team is absolutely great and we had such a fun time. The boat they use for getting to the dive spots is nice and we really enjoyed the time. We also had a lot of great conversations and a good time with the sea pearl divers family apart from being under water, so when are back in the Philippines we will definitively come again.

I recently completed my Advanced Open Water certification with Sea Perl Divers, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Everybody in the team was incredibly professional and relaxed. Wilma was an amazing instructor. It was my brothers first time diving and he went through all the basics through to the more technical things. He was patient and professional. Whilst teaching my brother i was able to swim on my own (within sight) and had such a good time doing so.

We paid for a guide for snorkeling here to show us the area around the dive shop and had a great experience. Alfred, the guide, was really friendly and showed us a variety of types of corals, fish, and we even saw 5 turtles. The equipment was all in good condition and it was a great price. On top of that all the staff we spoke to were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Extremely enjoyable and would recommend to anyone!

Excellent dive shop. I had an amazing experience both diving and snorkelling with Siquijor Dive Center. The equipment is mint condition and basically brand new. In my 67 dives, Tubod Marine Sanctuary was one of the best coral gardens that I've ever seen . I can't recommend this shop enough, you won't regret diving here.

I just had a super nice experience with Luca. We started with a yoga session to relax our body and mind and than we went out for some practice. Luca has a lot of Skills and helped me improve my knowledge about freediving, equalizing and breatholding. In a two hour session I was able to achieve my PB. Thanks for that. I will definitely come back and do a course with Luca to learn more

My friend and I are freedivers from Oahu and are on a dive mish in the phillipines checking out the amazing reefs and wildlife. We planned to go to siquijor as a break from our diving to chill and happened upon siquijor freediving- best surprise ever! Luca was so welcoming, and we both hit our PB dives on the line! Down to 105 feet 🤙🏼 we had the best dives. Luca is not only extremely knowledgeable about diving and anatomy but also passionate and it shows. He brings in a well rounded approach to diving and includes a personalized lesson on whatever aspects of diving are most important to you, movement / mobility / yoga, and so much more. Whether you are trying freediving for the first time or looking to train and hit PB’s you should absolutely check it out! I felt safe, supported, and encouraged. Truly one of my most memorable dive days.

What an experience. I accomplished my freediver AIDA 2 course here. At the moment this is the only place to get your freediver certification on Squijor! The management and the staff make you feel like home. The equipment is brand new and the location is perfect. I can highly recomment this place! A big shout-out to Luca - our freedive instructor. Never felt more comfortable in the water before. He truely is a master when it comes to freediving. Can not imagine to ever get a better instructor. Best man! Thank you very much Luca!

Wonderful diving experience with Siquijor Divers. All the staff were so nice and welcoming. They made me feel very comfortable especially as I was just getting over a congestion. Also saw about 9 turtles on one dive! Definitely recommend diving with these guys!

We had a great time with Siquijor divers on a shore dive. It was only my first dive after getting my open water cert, and I felt so safe with our guide. We saw tons of turtles, gorgeous corals and fish. The staff was also above and beyond helpful— I lost my phone on my ride to the dive center, and they helped me make calls and try to sort out finding it. Highly recommended!!

I just finished a free dive camp with Luca. I did Wave 1 three years ago with Luca in Canada. Luca is a passionate instructor and helps you problem solve and critical think. I had a private freediving and spearfishing session with Luca. He is a very knowledgable proffesional and commited instructor. Although the conditions for spearfishing were meh, the whole experience was a positive one. I definately recommend Luca if you are looking for someone who will put all his focus on you getting better in freediving/spearfishing.

Had an amazing time for my first freediving experience. Luca, John and Caro made the whole process really relaxed, informative and well paced. I managed to push myself further than I expected and really enjoyed the whole experience. Would definitely recommend!

Luca is a word class instructor, coach and diver, nuanced in the finer points of free diving and an excellent coach at all levels. We only spent a day here but wish we had longer. I have spent a considerable amount of time in the ocean spear fishing, swimming and diving casually. Even so Luca managed to impart many lessons about dive safety and feel I more comfortable in the water as a result.

Very neatly organised shell collection of over 3000 shells, all found onPhilippine grounds. You will find information regarding the biology and background so as to make it a worthwhile visit. The owners know a lot more, so just ask. If you eat in (very tasty local food), museum entrance is free!

Amazing collection of seashells. The lady gave us a tour with complete explanation of the different varieties with their particularities. Learned so much. They also have a great restaurant and cafe. A must-see on the island and a perfect place to spend some time.

Cool museum one of a kind..several species of arthropods and mollusks are present here, well preserved. They also sell shell soveiners and serve food

1st impressions, So clean, from the bathrooms to dining area and especially the museum. Really friendly staff, great coffee, and delicious food. Had Filipino breakfast (corned beef) 2 perfect eggs, chx adobo and a mango crepe, all excellent. Impressed with the museum as well. All worth a stop. Recommend and would return.

Had a very appetizing breakfast here with hospitable people. The french pressed coffee is really good. Luckily, during our breakfast someone was selling “sea urchin” which I ate during breakfast.

Delicious food! We had a traditional local dish called chicken halang halang. Yummm. It's a little like Thai green curry. A little spicy. Also had pineapple cucumber drink and they had a reusable stainless steel straw. Wow. Super clean and eco-friendly. The exhibit is also impressive. Admission of 100 php is waved if you way here. Very cool!

I came with my friend and ordered seafood marinara & pork Snitzhel,we both enjoy the delicious food,you'll definitely get what you pay for portion wise and taste wise! Highly recommend

Great breakfast, french press coffee included. Need I say more? I had french toast (305), and the English breakfast (~300), both were great. The french toast didn't come with coffee. The seashell collection is impressive, and very well presented. I didn't see any high shore snails, where are the malacana?

In general, I'm against taking out anything from the sea, such as corals or sea shells.... but if to take something so for that cause... it is very informative and educating. Also their restaurant is very, very good. Great food! Big variety of dishes. The service and stuff are super nice and high standard. I visited siquijor for 4 days. I ate in the restaurant 3 times. And I'm the type of person who likes to try different restaurants in each place I travel, but this one was too good to go somewhere else.

Excellent museum and it's open till late in evening. 100 PHP entry. Lots of very interesting signage in English. Posters and information on shells, shell themed stamps collection, large crab collection, great posters outlining marine life in Philippines. It is really worth a visit.

We visited on a Monday afternoon, so there were no customers except us. The waitress was very kind and accommodating. Food took about 30 mins or so to arrive. Food was pretty okay. Not exceptional, but not bad either. It was filling, but the taste is not what we expected. Great presentation though. HUGE SERVINGS! We were not able to finish it all. We joked that we could have just ordered the sweet and sour pork (not pictured) and ordered extra rice and plates since the serving seemed like it was for sharing. The seashell museum is a must-see! It was really amazing to see all the different kinds of marine life preserved. The gift shop sold unique mother-of-pearl items also. Overall a great experience!

My friends and I absolutely love this place! The museum is fun to explore! They also have a resto and their food is one of the best! Big servings! Delicious! Superb service! When I visit Siquijor again, I will definitely come back here.

I really love this place! The food is excellent, the service is great and the attention for details is present everywhere. I ate most probably the best ever chicken cordon bleu ever! It’s a must to visit their seashells museum next door as well ; it’s free for the guests of the restaurant. I will always be happy to come back!

Fabulous! The Seashell Museum is brilliant - an amazing collection. The food was excellent - best breakfast in Siquihor. We had to go back for an evening meal, and it was just as good. Difficult to decide what to eat though because it's such a varied menu. Best of all were the staff! Really well worth a visit -this was one of our Siquihor highlights.

What a great little museum this is. Great selection of shells and some other sea life. well presented and with good signage and information in English. You can have a guide or not as you like. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. There is also an adjoining restaurant. The food and service are the best we had on the island. (Eggplant parm sandwich and Mac and cheese). The value for money is really good, generous portions and quality ingredients.

I was diving with the Coco Grove dive shop, the guide was very kind, under water he took great care of me before and while diving and showed me what i wouldn’t see myself. The equipment is very good!

Amazing experience ! We had the chance to do 3 dives and 1 refresher with an excellent scuba instructor. Paulo was extremely calm, professional, always with a big smile and gave us many information about the aquatic wild-life. We saw beautiful fishes (lion fish, sea snakes, big turtles…)… the 3 dives were amazing. Thanks again and see you soon hopefully ! Aliénor & Antoine

Well organised Open Water Diver Course. Lots of equipment available which functioned without pro. The Dive Shop and our Instructor Gabriel took into consideration our wishes regarding the available time for the course. Still we went through all the content necessary. Big Plus: The Dive sites are in front of the resort / dive shop. So no long boat rides are necessary. At no point I felt uncomfortable. In summary it's a very good opportunity to start diving.

I did my open water certification with Coco Grove and I loved it!! My dive instructor was Gabriel and he was confident and patient with me and I felt really secure doing the course with him. I highly recommend him and the dive school! Also the dive sites are perfect beginners because it’s known for turtles and beautiful corals with less current.

Have to agree with another reviewer that this is a Dangerous shop with bad behavior and preparation. I was quickly shoved into my equipment and told to get in the water before I had done any personal checks/ buddy checks. This is a basic safety precaution for a reason. Then once in the water I was having trouble equalising my ears, the dive leader went off and I struggled for 10 minutes, we were diving with a more experienced diver and while on the dive she noticed and helped me out but I felt like I had the choice of diving further down without equalising (very dangerous) or loosing the group. Later on in the dive the leader kept diving directly under me which is unsafe and also annoying - it goes against the basic training I’d received. Then myself (due to the earlier panic) and the person I was with needed to return to the boat as our air was low and the leader just told us to go up and then carried on diving with the other girl - this contradicted the brief that we would all return together and was completely unprofessional. I was very upset when I got to the surface because I’d felt so unsafe and panicked - the lovely ladies on the boat listened and later explained to the dive leader what had happened. He didn’t apologise and shrugged saying he noticed nothing - which was exactly my point. No good dive leader doesn’t notice that someone isn’t at the same level or even look back to check on a group in 10-15 minutes. This was a minor issue but had one of us been out of air or had a major problem we would have returned to the surface before he even looked around. Such an awful experience and massively unsafe. They shouldn’t be able to take people diving. Shocking levels of safety.

Did my Open Water PADI here. Had an amazing 1 on 1 tutoring with personal feedback and adaptable to our other activities. The dives were very nice with lots of colorful coral, fishes and turtles

Diving has been a fear for most of my life and decided it was time to overcome it!! Paulo was absolutely amazing! He was friendly (all the staff were), patient, and encouraging. The dive he took me on left me with no words! The world under the sea is more spectacular than I could ever have imagined. We even saw turtles...I didn't know they could get to be that size! All I have to say is book with this company 💯 👍 (No pictures, I just took it all in)

Intrusive, rude owner, thirsty plants, broken glass, dirty furniture and dusty rooms, mould right outside cottage, kitchen without stove and dogs barking almost constantly. During 1 month's stay we were bothered by the owner on more days than we had peace from her. She hassled us when HER dog entered OUR renting space and stole open coconut, after which I started putting them in the sack. Then the dog got an old one from somewhere, she pulled us again saying that young cut coconut can turn into really old one in 3 days. She made problem about my son's toys lying outside the house, demanding to keep them in the space that we are renting, because they look ugly. At the same time she never notices all the broken glass on her paths and beach. I was lectured about raising my child, refused to use the space we agreed I can use for my online work. As she refused to provide something I could use for my work, I have put my old mattress on the floor, which then was requested to remove because it is ugly (in the space no one uses or goes to, apart from her for daily inspections). She said I can not use the space because some stones are there which will damage her stairs and she will have to build them from scratch. No cooking facilities (apart from tiny rice cooker) forced me to use my small cooker with butane. No garbage disposal facilities, I was asked to put my garbage outside the cottage, which then would lie there for days, until I took it to the reception area. She would refuse to dispose my empty butane cans, bringing it back and shouting that it is the bomb. She would usually bother us in the mornings coming right through the back door which was always open, zero respect for privacy. No visitors are allowed in the cottage, my friends were stopped and interrogated about who they are, and informed they are not allowed to go inside the cottage. After moving in we had to wash all the furniture, it was dirty and dusty. The warm shower didn't really work, I changed it for my own shower set to have stable warm water. One broom provided for the cottage, veranda and outside kitchen. I bought another one which disappeared within few days. I assumed her or worker accidentally took it, when reported I was promised another one plus cover for the kitchen window to stop rats from entering. Never happened, when I asked about it she said she has no time for that and that each guest has one broom allowance. Luckily had own mop and hoover. This was really worse experience ever, over many years of travelling. At the end my child was so stressed that he always wanted all the doors closed and avoiding going outside. Only after moving there I talked to local community who all told me only negative words about the owner. Keep away and be aware- especially for long stay- no refund policy!

The room was clean, the shower was hot and the bed was ok. No ac in the room but the fan did its work. There are A lot of bugs in this place, even in the room and I think it's overpriced for what it offers. The owner is very strange and the breakfast took 45 minutes (!!) For only 2 eggs, toast and coffee. Also there is no Wifi in the room and no signal at all. I will not come back to this place

Beautiful, quiet and cozy place,in daily and night time. Really good and healthy home made food,vegetarian options were delicius.the owner is really a nice woman, very gentle, honest and attentive to the enviroment.firefly sanctuary and botanical garden are a must!

the owner of this place is not serious. The cottage and surroundings are very neglected and dirty. The price is very high and the standard very low. I advise against this place. There are much better and cheaper places to stay in the area.

I definitely love this place.You can see all the details that the owner put into.Take some time to talk with her and you will be rewarded with a lot of knowledge of the trees,flowers,fireflies etc. And most importantly, you can see the owner really take a lot of time and effort to build and maintain this tiny eco system.Would recommend to my friends!

Worst resort I have seen in my life so far. Very expensive and landlady make you feel like you were in prison! Do not recommend!

Unfortunately, close to nothing left to see today...

Supposed to be a managed beach. Instead there's a plastic hose sticking out of the sand literally next to the person collecting fees. I accidentally stepped on it, got a huge gash in my foot and the guy didn't care at all that there's a dangerous plastic at the beach even when I showed him the problem. Be careful.

It is great to see sealife. But don't expect your typical western beach to lie down and swim. The water is blurry and muddy in some parts. The water is still. And be careful with the sealife.

I saw some pretty nice and even big fish. Clownfish was there as well. But don't expect to see many colorful and preserved corals here. Also, the tide was not perfect so you should be cautious where do you stand.

Absolutely fantastic marine reserve, perfect for snorkeling, beautiful coral and a great example of the huge biodiversity of life on a reed in the Philippines.
