There are signs about how to buy a ticket too, but if you have the Snow Monkey Pass you can just show it and walk through. The bus is literally right outside, basically no walking required.

I bet that is super annoying to those who live and work in the area but it is quite nice when only there for a short visit. There is a bus station stop outside and many of the local resorts pick up guests whenever a train comes in. There is a Lawson's close by.
