The castle ground are nice, especially when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. During our visit there were a number of food vendors set up with various treats just outside the “main gate” (inside the laid area of the castle grounds). The castle itself is closed (March 2022) and it appears to be undergoing some form of internal renovation. It was a shame to visit and not know that entrance to the castle itself would be denied. Worth visiting for the low price and nice pictures.

I'm a fan of the game Shogun Total War, so Nagoya Castle is always one of my destinations. I enjoyed walking around the area and was lucky enough to experience the Flower show case. I will recommend anyone to spend a peaceful minimum an hour wondering around. You will find tranqulity and cozy walk there.

The Nagoya Castle is actually a museum, "disguised" as castle. Originally built in the first half of the sixteenth century and the middle of the various events of the time, it was almost completely destroyed by the American raid in 1945 and rebuilt from scratch based on drawings and plans survivors. I mean, how often are fond of the "fanboy" of Himeji Castle, Nagoya Castle is not the real castle of Nagoya. The rest just come to realize this: exits, stairs modern with lots of rails and a lift to visit all the floors. The need to completely rebuild the structure, however, has given some freedom of action to the designers who have finally decided to use as the interior spaces to show Japanese antiques or reproductions. In addition, the castle was continuously extended with new halls (in May 2011 were in the course of work on a new building). Two parts that interested me the most: the outdoor gardens, pleasant almost like those of the castle in Akashi, and the floor of the castle which was rebuilt in a Japanese city of Edo period, with lots of alternation of day and night to realize what meant to be no light at the time.

Massive castle with a lot of attractions to visit. Inside of the place feels like you are in different era. The walls and buildings structure preservations are really worth visiting it. There are few small parks here and there. To spend time with family and to see the old life,it is a great place.

Even though the castle keep is being rebuilt to withstand earthquakes, the reconstructed palace is worth a trip. This must be how it would have looked when it was new. Each of the many rooms and halls is more ornately decorated than the last and the attention to detail is impressive. The walk in the garden around the castle is very nice also!

The castle, palace, and grounds were much better than I originally expected. I was also surprised by how many people were there on a Sunday. My only complaint is that the castle inside isn’t open at this time to visitors. Thankfully the palace is. The palace is very similar to the interior of Nijo Castle.

Cool place to visit, you have the opportunity to enter an old Japanese building (shooed off first). Walk around the walls and see great views. We were lucky to see walking ninjas and samurai which took free photos with us. There is a small park in the castle which is worth a visit too, all sort of cool flowers and trees.

Impressive monument to Japan's age of lords and samurai. The Castle itself is still under renovation but the grounds have interesting artefacts and information to explain the layout of the castle. The reconstructed palace is beautiful but be prepared to take your shoes off. A museum for the castle has a variety of items on display but no English information - this is something that can be improved upon.

We've been here on a Sunday in January. I think because of that we had nearly no waiting time. It's a beautiful place with lots of history and rebuild with a lot of pleasure. I really recommend to go there when visiting Nagoya

Massive castle! So beautiful! We weren’t able to walk through the actual castle (it is currently undergoing some construction) but we did get to walk through the palace! The staff on duty were incredibly friendly and kind. The grounds around the castle are gorgeous as well. Bring your stamp book as there is a place to stamp it right next to the entrance :) there’s an ice cream shop as well with DELICIOUS soft serve!

The castle is under renovation so you can't enter it so all that's left are gardens, palace and photos outside. However the gardens also seem like going through restoration since most of them are empty. The palace might be worth a quick glimpse since it has some nicely decorated doors but that's it.

Whilst it's nice to see the grandeur of the grounds besides a look at the main buildings' impressive architecture and artworks. There wasn't a lot of historical information/pieces that the Osaka castle has to offer.

The Nagoya castle and places surrounding it looks great. But the castle is closed, so we cannot see it from inside. I am not sure when it will get opened again. I asked some people; they said it is closed because of its structure became weak after earthquakes. So yes, you can visit to see the castle from outside, but you are not allowed to go inside. But there are other places to see inside the premises, like Hommaru palace, the old stones of original Nagoya etc. Please enjoy visiting this beautiful place.

The Nagoya castle was one of my favourite places un Nagoya. The castle provides a beautiful view and there is also a small traditional house nearby this castle, where it is forbidden to take photos, so you won’t find many, but it is still recommended - the overall fee for entering the area was 500Yen for adults. Unfortunately the castle couldn’t be assessed. The area is big but not huge, I needed 1 hour to walk around the castle in the garden, which was >80% of the attraction.

Amazing castle, worth the money to enter and you can borrow a rental wheelchair for free. You can enter the palace to see it's original architecture. the main castle was unfortunately closed and there was also some construction going on. there were supposed to be a "ninja" performance going on but due to the weather conditions, they cancelled it. definitely a place that you can enjoy if the weather is good since it's mostly outdoor.

Never mentioned when buying ticket that the castle is under renovation, only can photo outside. Wasted the trip all the way there. If you plan to come, think better come when the renovation is closed completed fully.

Quite ok with small amount of Sakura trees, sadly castle is closed for renovation. One can only visit the exhibitions held in small hall which they called palace?! Basically, wall paintings and decorations are the main exhibits. By the way, there is a lane of restaurants in front of the castle entrance, I think East gate, better check. For those with a tight schedule.

It was so nice to visit this amazing castle especially on this spring season. Because its being surrounded by lots of sakura trees. I also like the design of it actually cause somehow similar with the osaka castle. But i guess the only difference is that the color of the castle is like a lighter mint bluegreen shades. There are also some food stall on the side so you can get food/snacks and they also have a ninja show. It was fun actually.

A fun day trip. The castle is impressive and beautifully restored. This castle also has large grounds and out buildings with interpretive signs in English and Japanese. Lots of food stalls nearby and actors dressed as period era samurai and such to interact with and take photos.

Great place to go with family/ friends. It's a place with a long history. Roughly it takes around 1 hour to cover the entire area. There are few restuarants and food stalls inside the premises. Washrooms available. Enough parking spaces available. I think evening is the best time to visit here.

A very cool area, kind of like Shimokitazawa, Asakusa and Akihabara combined under a shotengai. You will find everything from vintage clothing shops to electronics to international restaurants here. There is also a famous temple and many small shrines. A must visit if you are in Nagoya.

This is by far my favorite shopping arcade in Japan! I highly recommend the night for a mysterious walk throught the small side alleys and also nearby shrines. A bit scary but I like the thrill!!

Absolutely love this place, full of interesting shops and a wide variety of food from different countries too. We walked around for 2-3 hours to explore every corner of the streets.

This shopping street is mainly focused on small food stands. Most of those are focused on a single dish, but they do those dishes justice. While the most popular places have a line in front of them, do not discount other shops. The taiyaki stall had no line, but said tayaki was delicious, as was the dango there. Apart from all the different affordable and cheap dishes you can find just about anything there. Clothes, cosmetics, pet wares, basically anything. Osu Kannon Temple also hosts a flee market (probably only on weekends) with various odds and ends.

It’s a great shopping experience in this area, lot’s of bargains, discounts and lot’s of great pika pika foods.

As a car guy, in Japan to compete at Rally Japan, it was natural to visit both the Toyota Automotive museum as well as the Toyota museum of Technology. I was worried that the museum of technology would be boring for my wife and 9 year old would be bored. Boy, was I wrong! They had a blast! It might be the highlight of our trip to Japan. You can push the button to start the manufacturing machines in operation. Huge presses and hammer forges. Assembly robots putting together a car and simulating welding it together. Plus, Toyoda made looms before they made cars so there is a huge background on their loom history. Included are demos of different types of looms old and new. Amazing!

This museum was a real joy. I’m not a car guy but really enjoyed the fabric machines. Lots of guides showing fabric production from the spinning wheel to ultra modern fabric machines. It’s huge, showing looms from the late 1800s to today, and almost all of them work. The second part of the museum is for cars and it had a good mix of history and metal working machines and robots. If you like how things work, you will love this museum, you can get a combo ticket for this and the Noritake crafts house for ¥800.

Fantastic museum for all ages! This museum will appeal to a variety of people with a variety of interests- so it is a great activity for a group or family. You could easily spend 2+ hours here. Most of the exhibits are interactive. There is also a large number of staff working in the museum who will demonstrate many of the machines and explain how they work. The staff on the floor of the museum all spoke excellent English. I’d recommend bringing your headphones for your phone. There is a guided tour you can access via a QR code in the museum that will walk you through the exhibits in English. You can also rent a head set for ¥200 according to the sign but there was no obvious place to rent them and we didn’t ask. Due to COVID they are not offering tours of the Toyota factory where they build cars- but this museum has ample enough demonstrations of building cars and the evolution of the technology that you won’t miss the factory tour. Can’t say enough great things about this museum. We’ve been to other similar factory/industrial tours in Japan and this was by far the most English friendly.

The museum has 2 pavilions. 1st one shows the history of the Fabric industry and then the 2nd one shows the evolution of the automobile industry. Toyota cars from very early 1950s are displayed here. The museum closes at 5 pm. I visited here on a Saturday. It was not crowded.

I had no idea what to expect before I visited this museum. It covers the complete history of the Toyota corporation from the very beginning when it started out as a textile manufacturer. There are numerous working displays from both the textile portion of the company all the way up to present day automobile manufacturing. Some of the working displays are quite impressive including the automated machinery for textile manufacturing. I had only planned to spend 90 minutes here but I ended up staying for 2.5 hours because the exhibits were so extensive and interesting. Toyota has a very long history and this museum covers all of it very well.

We happened to come to Nagoya to meet a friend and she decided to go to the Toyota Museum. It was pretty cool and there always seem to be groups. Saw many tourists here as well. Guided tour in english was cool so check out times etc. Was very informative including why it's called Toyota and not the founders name Toyoda. Won't spoil it for you. Kids and adults both get to do a key chain thingy at the end which was cool just to do it.

I was thrilled to discover that they provided explanations in English, and the pamphlets were available in multiple languages as well. The robot playing the violin was the most impressive thing for me.

Good museum. It is a good learning journey for children. There is English guided tour too, check with information counter assistant who is very friendly and helpful. Remember to bring a booklet for collection of stamps too or there is leaflet for you to stamp and bring home. The techno park required booking. We have spent the whole day and wishing that we would have another hour.

This museum showcases Toyota's history and their aspirations for the future, starting with an entire section dedicated to the fabric looms and metal work and the other section on automotive technology. Very family-friendly and interactive. Surprised to see so many staff on the floor providing demonstrations and explanations. Many of the machines on display are actually functional and can be triggered with the press of a button.

A weekend well spent. Toyota textile and automotive museum. They have detailed demonstrations both in Japanese and English. But they may not be able to answer your questions in English. Recommended to anyone interested in engineering.

Entry fee is 500¥ per adult. Expect the full exhibition to take 2 hours, as there is a lot to see. If you’re interested in Toyota as a company and want to know its origins, this is definitely a place for you. Car enthusiasts, there are a few great cars in here, however there is another museum (Toyota Automobile) that could cater for your desires more.

A must-go for any engineering enthusiast. Look at the history of Toyota starting from its roots in fabric manufacturing, with live demonstrations of cotton weaving and improvements in machinery. The staff are able to converse and explain the exhibits in English as well. The history of Toyota as well as its founder is extremely interesting. For those who are not interested in history, looking at the familiar car models and advance modern manufacturing techniques can also be intriguing. There is something to do for all age groups here.

This is an excellent museum, with half devoted to the Toyota textile manufacturing plant, half to their automotive company. Tons of live demonstrations and scheduled (free) tours in English and Japanese. You could spend hours here. But the craziest part is that admission is only ¥500–that hit my credit card statement as $3.36 USD. This is easily a $25 museum in the US.

I can absolutely recommend this museum to everyone who want to know more „everything“ about Toyota. There are very good demo versions of production lines from now and then, which makes the museum really visual and interesting. After visiting many museums in Germany from BMW, Mercedes, … this one was by far the best one! It takes around 2 to 3 hours to see the most important things here.

Nice experience and history. Went towards the end of the day, but there was still enough time to see majority of the places. The gift store has some nice things, but nothing too amazing. They did have a nice spanner designed cutlery.

A must visit in Nagoya if you're even slightly interested in Toyota, automobiles, fabrics or manufacturing. Large, informative, interactive exhibits covering the history of Toyota, weaving and automobile technology in Japan. The children's exhibits (about 10% of the museum) are also well done.

Very nice museum showing history and growth of Toyota company and their struggle during tough times. The elaboration of weaving machines is great and opens another chapter in the mind about Toyota. Their family story is full of innovation and overcoming challenges… really inspiring. Note: if you love cars and machines then please reach early to the museum, it is at walking station from Sako station and it is where the Toyota story begins.

5 stars is not enough! Cannot speak highly enough of this museum. Really well set out, brilliant displays (some of which are automated), I could spend days in there and not see everything. Will definitely be back when in Japan next.

This has to be one of the most amazing museums I’ve ever been to. There were guides who spoke English at many machines to give specialized demos and answer questions, and the exhibits themselves were fascinating and updated! They had full-size, working, industrial machines which had just been developed THIS YEAR! That’s a lot of $ to put into a museum exhibit, and then to have someone operate it for you was SOOO COOL. Anyone interested in science or technology should absolutely visit this museum.

Fantastic museum for Toyota fans and any Automobile fans. We learnt a lot about Toyota history and there were a lot of interesting things to see. Staff were fantastic and explained a lot of equipment in the exhibition. There was an interactive play area for children, booking is required and each booking is only for 30minutes.

Great aquarium. I do have mixed feelings with animals in captivity but I did want my children to see different marine life. Recommended for families. Not sure why couples were there. I presume a date. An aquarium date is only on the TV.

Entrance fee of ¥2030. If you’re looking for food, there’s a food court in a nearby jetty in between the aquarium and train station. The dolphin show is definitely worth seeing and I don’t think anyone got wet even in the splash zone. The orca training was a little disappointing but it could be that the orca was having a bad day. 🐬 Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Nagoya.

It was a huge place with an enormous area for dolphin and orca shows. It has two buildings -- North and South. It was my first time seeing a large killer whale in Japan. But there were too many people. It was awfully crowded; it was hard for me to see the aquarium or even just to get out from the premise. The restaurants were full, and there were literally no seats available to sit and relax.

We spent a good 3 hours there, it was so much fun. There were lots of people on a Sunday but the aquarium was quite big so there wasn't a problem. I like that there are seats everywhere so u can just sit and watch.

Visited on a Thursday morning in March. There was a crowd and thus were required to queue up for around 20 minutes to purchase the entrance tickets. The aquarium was nice, where we are able to watch 15 minutes of live dolphin and orca training at 11am and 12pm, respectively. The performances were definitely the highlight of the aquarium. The other exhibits were just fine, and there are better aquariums for that elsewhere. Definitely advise to go to the port area earlier and spend some time in the port area before visiting the aquarium

The orca and dolphine show were the best!! You can have some food and beers while watching the show! And oh don't sit near the stage or else the orcas will slap you with water🤣🤣🤣 that's what happened to me. Thank u orca🤣

It's this one place in Nagoya where u cannot miss out on. The vibe and the experience at this place is just unmatched. It has such a wide variety of marine life. The Dolphins & sharks are the show steller 😍😍 Along with this the Dolphin performance is a must watch here. The place is on the port so it offers an amazing view too.

Nothing fancy but it has a good selection of everything!

A place for kids to learn about the sea and its secrets!! Make sure to attend the dolphin show, it has specific timings so make sure u check the timings. It's a 10min show but it's fun to attend. The rest of the aquarium is fun in terms of the way they explain the aquatic animals. It has a huge orca, dolphins, jelly fishes, penguins and many other microorganisms. I would not suggest taking the tour which includes the observatory deck , but it's just my thought.

Dolphin and Orca shows were fun but less thrilling compare to US show.However their collection of fish, penguins and turtles/tortoise are better compare to other aquariums I have seen. There is a mini mall with food court next building l, prices are reasonable.Best is,their place is really near train station. They also have several parking spaces if you bring your car.

I went there during weekends, it was not too crowded so I could get a good view of the animals. The dolphin show was amazing, it’s a must-watch! You can also get a mesmerizing sea view outside of the aquarium.

What a lovely way to draw the crowd to the port with an aquarium & a nearby amusement park. Spent a great afternoon with the dolphins, penguins and many other marine creatures featured due to the climatic adversities. Very educational indeed.

Great aquarium with an amazing stadium for shows. We watched the dolphin show there and it's fun and the bonus was that eating was allowed there as well, which made the show more entertaining. The snacks they sold near the stadium were surprisingly delicious. We loved the sweet cream pretzel! The jelly fish, penguin feeding, and the tropical marine area were must see as well. We went on a day where many preschoolers were there. Was afraid it would be too crowded, but it turned out to be fine and it was cute to see the little kids enjoying themselves!

We chose this aquarium instead of the one near legoland and it doesn’t disappoint. Its orca and dolphins show is great and entertaining. These intelligent mammals are a sight to behold despite being in captivity. There isn’t many other sea creatures to admire like many else aquariums we been to but we are satisfied with this. Being next to the sea is so refreshing too.

Surprised that I liked it. Rushed there the moment we reached Nagoya. Got in at 3.50pm, 10 mins before the final entry. Got to see the trainers working with the dolphins, belugas and killer whale. Struck by how the animals and their human trainers seem to share a real bond of affection. Not keen to see these wonderful creatures captive. But it's a consolation to think that there are people who seem to genuinely care for them.

Amazing place! Very informative exhibition of Shinkansen technology, and also cool Maglev train simulation. Also there is very big diorama, I think it’s the biggest and the most marvelous I have ever seen. It animates every 30min and very interesting stuff is happening in every place of it. I was very content after my visit here :)

It's a great place to visit with family and friends. If you like to know the history of japanese trains, you must come here. The price for adults is 1000 JPY. There are some restuarants/ souvenir shop inside the premises. I specially liked the Shinkansen history and the evolution of the trains. There are also places for kids to enjoy like making model trains/tracks. They allow to visit the inside of some of the trains. Great museum 5/5

The best way to spend a rainy day is by visiting museums. This museum definitely could not be missed during my stay in Nagoya. I like trains, so this could not be missed, especially if you travel around by bullet train through Japan. The museum is quite far from the city center, so a 20 minute train trip is required to get here. If you're lucky, you can sit in one of the trains with the Lego interior, cause the Lego museum is around the corner. There is a movie being played in the entrance hall of the museum, where three trains are positioned. In the main hall you will find a big collection of trains, from old to new. I liked the part where the current technology is shown for the Shinkansen trains, like the pantograph and upper power line. Some special trains which are used in the past are in the back of the hall. There is a big miniature train world as well, and please take your time here. At some point the room gets dark and represents the night. Everything is being led up and looks amazing. You can spend at least 2 to 3 hours in here.

Good amount of information, with interactive exhibits to explain the technologies and systems. Unfortunately, only very basic information is translated into English, the rest are in Japanese. Best part, in my opinion, is their famed Diorama, featuring detailed models of 4 major train stations and train sets through the years. The trains run automatically and the tracks and lights switch accordingly to regulate train traffic. Some models are also animated to show the different activities from day to night, like a bus running around the roads and avoiding parked vehicles, an ambulance and fire engine attending to a fire, a ferry sailing in the harbor, a moving merry go round.

Given Japan's extraordinary train system and network, this attraction could be better presented, and more thorough. Whilst there are many displays, explanations are quite often shallow, and incomplete. Even as a speaker of Japanese, I was left with many questions after reading the displays. The English explanations were birding on scarce. Also disappointing was the inability to get a booking on the Shinkansen simulator. I arrived very early, and found that it was already booked out until late afternoon. This needs to be better managed. Having said that, this is still a worthwhile place to visit - I just suggest that you come prepared for an exhibition which doesn't reach the usually high Japanese standards.

Very nice place for people who love trains and technology in general. A couple of hours is enough to explore every corner of the museum. Has a wide range of interactive media that explain the Japanese train history and its development, I was personally intrigued by the train diorama they had. Very informative for kids too! SCMaglev Railway Park in Nagoya is a great place to learn about the latest maglev technology and get close to many high-speed trains, including the very first Shinkansen from 1964. Great to see so much pride for Japanese technology at SCMAGLEV and Railway Park in Nagoya. It is an excellent place to visit, not just for the Shinkansen history and maglev future but has so many old rolling stock from years past that you can get up close and enjoy what it must have been like to travel in.

Nice place to visit if you are interested in the history of railroad and Shinkansen in Japan. The early years of train station, research and development of the bullet train are well documented inside the museum. There is also place where children can play inside,a canteen inside to those who want to eat snacks and lunch and souvenir shop for your memorable visit in the park.

If you love trains like me, you will spend a happy afternoon here. An easy day trip using the Rail-pass from Kyoto, its an easy switch to the local train. If you are on a budget, buy your lunch at the convenience store at the station as there are free tables to eat at the museum. I used the museum cafe and it was a little pricey, but lots of fun.

We did not plan on going here until last minute, especially since we saw it was right next to Legoland (5 minute walk from the Legoland Hotel). Kids were dreading another museum and they lived this one. Many interactive things for kids to do, I wish I had alotted more time to this as they had fun going through all the trains and pressing all the buttons to see how different parts of the trains work. There are some parts where you pay extra like the train simulator and bullet train simulator. Like many museums in Japan, they also have papers for kids to go find stamps located throughout the museum. If you are remotely into trains or have kids, this may be a place to add to your itinerary. We spent about an hour here but kind of rushed it and could have spent more time here.

American family visit. Great railway museum with many exhibits and interactive displays. You have the ability to enter many of the train cars to see what they look like. They also have a huge train diorama that has a show about every 15-20 minutes which was a lot of fun. For an additional fee you can also play the train simulators. Many of the signs, displays, and videos have English which is a huge plus in enjoying the museum of you don't read Japanese. There is a cafe onsite as well as a young child play area. The food was good and was about 4300 yen for my three person family. Need about 3 hours for a semi-decent run through, longer to really take it all in.

Came in with high expectations after visiting the Kyoto railway museum a year ago and while I can't say it's disappointing as the train displays are definitely amazing, the content and context are both lacking. JR Central Japan has positioned the space as a place to "display" technologies with the maglev as the centerpiece, and hence there is not much about the most profitable/critical section of Japan's bullet train. It is also disappointing in a sense that the most financially viable JR operator in all of Japan is spending so little on its showcase. The forward looking mindset doesn't serve a museum space very well, as now we know the maglev train project is very much in limbo with Shizuoka reluctant to green-light the construction. Perhaps it's time to rethink the space and consider an expansion to incorporate more substantial materials rather than kids' playroom.

Brought me back to my childhood years playing with LIMA trains.... This is an amazing place for kids and the family. We were treated to a drum performance by youth and kids, too, as it was the weekend. It's super convenient to visit as it's a point to point train from nagoya Station, the end point, which is just outside the museum.

Great railway museum, very popular with families. Exhibitions are primarily in Japanese but with highlights in English. It would be great if there were more information published in English for tourists. The diorama is lovely but there are definitely better ones in Europe.

Right beside a train station, and cheap parking close by. Great for kids of all ages! Good size museum you and your family can spend a full day. Great lunch options as you can try many different train lunchboxes, be sure to show up early for the best selection。。。♡

Very very cool railway museum! The train display (multiple of them!) are super impressive! You could walk into most/all of the retired train cars in the display room and really see its revolution! My 5yr old son is a big (little) train fan, and he had SO MUCH fun exploring (and playing a bit of hide and seek too) among the train cars! They have both 2 different kinds of train simulators for you to experience how driving a train is like: normal train for 100 yen (8-10 min), and Shinkansen simulator for 500 yen (~15 min, first come first served and you need to reserve for a specific time). Both were fun and recommended! We also really enjoyed the interactive exhibits on both first and second floor where you could learn about different parts and mechanics of the trains (mostly Japanese though). There is also a ticket machine where you could input and print out your own unique named tickets! Great free souvenir. They are a proper gift shop at the exit of the museum where you can find all kinds of cool and cute train/Shinkansen souvenirs as well! Surprised and super neat gem place for anyone visiting Nagoya!

A must visit for railfans! I love the rolling stock display, with some of them you can even enter and take pictures in. Ever wondered what trains looked like in the old days, before modern subways and bullet trains? What I love especially is that the museum caters to non-Japanese speaking visitors with English guides all around the place. Don’t miss the Delica Station on the second floor, for some train bento served in actual, plastic train containers you can take back home. Lunch and souvenir in one.

It was an eye opener for me and family here. The musuem offered a lot of knowledge how the shinkansen and trains started. Recommended. The souvenir shop had a lot of nice souvenirs as well.

We had a blast at the fantastic railway park, with our kids delighting in the various trains 🚆 and hands-on experiences with train components. However, parking poses a significant challenge since the park lacks a designated parking area.

My wife, two grade school kids, and I got in at 10am, and left the place at closing time. Every floor had designated sections that highlight the different areas of (you guessed it 😊) SCIENCE! The planetarium could've been more interesting if english subtitles/captions were included (but how'd they do that might be challenging since each area of the dome-shaped ceiling was used to explain the stars and other astronomy-related topics). An hour was not enough to enjoy the section that featured the anatomy & physiology of our body. The many interactive areas, and the several video displays really help us understand the human body. This place is best enjoyed with that "learning" mind set, and not just "photo-ops" if you are a tourist. ¥800 for adult tickets (my kids got in for free since they are elementary students) is a "steal" for a science museum with this extensive, detailed & organized collection of data.

The museum was so much fun to explore and they had really cool exhibits on every floor! Unfortunately the planetarium was closed when we went but I can imagine that would be awesome to see as well. I enjoyed the special exhibit they had going on, it did take us a minute to find it though as the stairs to the basement aren’t in the same place as the the main escalators we saw everyone taking. Definitely a kid friendly place and lots of things you can interact with.

One thing I enjoy most as a a tourist is aquariums and science museums and this science museum is well worth the stop. It is a huge place that offers a lot of exhibits and educational enlightenment. You will not be disappointed if you come and if you have children, 100% you need to stop by. There is a lot to look at with many floors to keep you busy. You will absolutely spend a lot of time here and enjoy every moment of it. Just stop by and enjoy the museum.

Great place for adults and kids and science-driven folks. There are many activities and machines to operate, so time flies fast. We spent 4hours and didn't feel a thing. Take your time to enjoy a planetarium show.

It was indeed great not just for the kids but even adults who yearn to learn! The biggest downside for foreigners, though, is that the exhibits and programs were all in Japanese (with some English translations mostly for the titles or names). There were a few that have QR codes for translation c/o an app called “Brother Museum Guide” so English-speaking visitors can still participate and understand the exhibits better. Even though I wasn’t able to fully understand everything I’ve seen, going here was such an awesome experience!

A very cool place to visit when you are in Nagoya with a lot of interactive science installations with English explanations available as well Adults and Children will love this place for sure! You can find world's largest planetarium in this place as well!

A science museum with a large planetarium inside. An unusual looking building. It looks like a UFO landed on the building. The exhibits and presentations are in Japanese only, and they seem to cater more to the school going kids. Outside the museum there is a space rocket, and a park.

one of the best places ever I visited. Its really good for kids to understand science they will lovevthis please. they have really nice insect collection. they use all of Physics theory inside this building with practically using it. Kids will love it and they will love to do science when they enjoy this place. Planetarium is the awesome place. Youe need to book ticket fast. Limited show times but many people. all inclusive ticket is around 2000¥. They have 3 options.

It was a pleasant surprise to stumble upon when exploring Nagoya. The planetarium show is 100% recommended! Even though I don't speak any Japanese, I enjoyed every second of it. Many of the exhibits are interactive. Make sure you take the time to explore and play with them.

A museum that is likely more fun for kids, and if you can read all Japanese kanji. There isn't much at all for English. It is mostly an activity-based museum, and there were lots of kids enjoying them. They have a rotating special exhibit, which was focused on cats at the time of my visit. Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy it to full extent due to not being completely fluent. However, I can tell that it's a great museum.

A wonderful experience. This museum can be both an absolute source of joy and an opportunity for learning for children. Floors 2 to 6 are full of experiments and contraptions designed to explain basic scientific theories while demonstrating real life examples and applications. The exhibition starts with hydraulics, then common electrical and mechanical theories, then comes the waves, and lastly basics of human bodies. The place is so crowded, and each child is having so much fun enjoying science that it’s hard to believe that they are actually learning science which was supposed to be difficult. There is even a train simulator where you can run and control like a real train driver, and it’s an added bonus. If you have interest in science, then it’s highly recommended. If you do not have interest in scientific theories, still it’s recommended as a fun place.

Unfortunately, I do not recommend this attraction to foreigners. The main reason is the huge lack of English signs and descriptions. There are indeed English station which support English language, but it is really 0% convenient. Another bad thing about this, is the aim to younger kids - the majority of the museum aims to serve children, which is fine, but sadly isn’t communicated well. As a German student, it is rather boring here. If you want to enter the planetarium, you have to order the ticket in advance, sadly I couldn’t enter it.

It's fun and interesting. Our first time here too. Enjoyed interacting with some exhibits. Hopefully the souvenir shop have better items for sale next time we visit. More refrigerator magnet please 😄

The place is pretty interesting, it has a variety of fields that they show, from biology, to minerals and tecnology. Much of the content is the basis studied in major degrees, in my case mechanical engineering, and it would have been awesome to see some of the experiments while studying to understand them better (gears, that subject was really hard 😂) Being said so, the only perk is that there is almost nothing in English. Everything is in Japanese and that is really sad :(

I cannot recommend this museum enough. Absolutely wonderful variety of different scientific concept. I liked that the museum doesn't dumb anything down - it provides full factual information about a variety of physics, chem, bio, astronomy, earth science and engineering concepts. Everything is fully interactive and there are a number of wonderful physics/ chem experiments that you can see for yourself. Amazing.

You come inside, someone assists you in buying ticket, you ride 2 elevators and voila! You can now enjoy the view. It’s so worth it. There’s even that lock thingy for couples. Cute. When we went there on a Sunday, it was not crowded.

This is the symbol of Nagoya. Good for photo and video shooting. It is also a romantic place for couples to walk and sightseeing. I think walking at night is much prettier but day time also gives different vibes. Long story short, this is the spot to proves that you been to Nagoya lol.

Nagoya tv tower is a fun place with a lot of pubs and funky restaurant. A big lawn to sit and chill with friends.

Nice place to visit in Nagoya. The pool at the feet of the tower will start to fog at about 6pm which makes it a perfect place for taking photos. Many restaurants along the pool. I didn't know that you can actually take elevator and get to the top though, might try next time.

The place offers an amazing experience. The vibe here is so lively & filled with great enthusiasm & majestic view. It has the best eye catching views around the sunset time & once the lights are glowing post the evening time. It's a must visit place when in Nagoya.

I was genuinely surprised how good this tower is. There were good views from the top floors, but there was a very active cafe on the bottom and souvenir store as well. It was also Sakura season, so the illuminations were amazing!!! Definitely worth going there.

I went there in an evening I went to both Observation Floor Sky Deck and Sky Balcony. It was so amazing from both inside and outside 😍 Recommend you to go at night because of the lightings as well as the view of Nagoya city from the deck is so beautiful at night. There was few people when I was there, so I could relax well. You can have a walk in Hisaya Odori Park too.

I really enjoyed their sky-deck where I spent more than half an hour sitting on a chair, staring at the night city of Nagoya. Its ticket price now went up to 1500yen and their opening hour seems to change occasionally depending on sunset hours so you might want to check it out more carefullt. Still, it's worth a visit!

A Nagoya landmark. Very picturesque any time of the day. Along a linear park. Lots of commercial places nearby. Within a busy train station.

This is the best place to visit in Nagoya. More beautiful in the evening. I really like to go there and spend couple of hours. This time the weather was too good, no rain. Everything was perfect.

I love towers and i make a point to visit every tower where i can. Mirai is not a tall tower but still offers a great view of Nagoya. There are 2 stops at this tower a lower floor and the top floor. There is a small eatery and souvenir shop inside the top floor. Night is the best view to see it lit up. You can do your shopping at Sakae and walk back at night to Hiisaya Odori Park to admire the lit up tower.

Sakae is really nice place to walk around and discover things. There is so many stores and restaurants around. If you are visiting Nagoya, you should visit Sakae.

A bit cloudy by this time but no rain. Its about 32°c as of 5pm, humid was very high. The park around the area was very clean and not crowded on weekdays. The experience at the tower was a great experience for a first timer but don't expect the tower is high. Its only 180m tall and the Sky Balcony is only at 100m. Above you can see the whole area of Sakae, the park and other places in Nagoya especially the Nagoya Castle. There's an event going on by this day, the name of the event was NAKED and i think its held every summer here in Japan. It's like a virtual illumination display projecting fireworks digitally using a projector inside the sky deck above the Mirai Tower. The space inside the Sky balcony was small only, maybe it can fit below 30 people only at the same time. They got hotels, souvenir shops and even restaurants below the sky balcony. Overall it was a nice experience.

The place was really very good. You can enjoy by watching different species of reptiles mammals. Also you can enjoy various rides.😀 Due to covid 19 I recommend you to book a ticket in advance from the website before visiting.

What a beautiful zoo with lots of walking paths. You'll spend an entire day here if you want to just enjoy everything, so get here early. The animals seem very well taken care of and a lot of open space for them. The zoo's collection is large as well, compared to other zoo in Japan, there is a lot of space. A great place for a picnic, a walk, and enjoying nature away from the city, so it is a good way to get out of the busy city for a bit on your trip.

The enclosures seemed way too small for the animals (especially the elephants, tigers, red pandas, and hippos). Many of them were pacing back and forth in their limited space or stuck in position, and seemed distress by being in such close proximity to guests with nowhere to go. It seems there are some facilities under construction… I hope they will be of suitable size in the future. I initially came only to go to the botanical gardens, but decided to check out the zoo since it’s included in the ticket. Now I feel bad giving my money to an organization like this. I’ve been to some excellent zoos where the animals seemed to be in good care and in a well-maintained habitat. This is not one of the zoos.

AMAZING PLACE! Visited this place on a weekend with my family. We bought tickets from FamilyMart so we didnt need to line up. It was not crowded despite it being a weekend. We spent almost 4 hours looking at the animals. They also have a botanical garden that was so amazing. Entrance fee for adults is ¥500. Elementary and Junior High Schools students are FREE of charge.

This place is huge, this past few years they constantly have renovation in some section. Their tickets price so cheap. Animals looks in good condition and they have lot of it. The zoo is enjoyable both for child and adult, lot of toilet with changing table, and restaurant and snack bar. We love the elephant place, be sure to check them out. Botanical garden is massive too, it took whole day to explore this place. Their souvenir shop is basic with all the thing they could make as souvenir.

We went on a sunny day with nice autumn colors all around. It was wonderful to take a walk around. There is a lake that looked pleasant for boating. The sky tower is a must visit to get a view of the town.

Truly a very wonderful place! The day I went it rained so hard but I really didn't care. I enjoyed my time so much and I didn't notice that closing time approached while i was deep inside the park! The park has a huge selection of animals from birds to monkeys to lions! The rose garden and green fields are also very pretty and I found myself just walking and getting lost in the natural beauty all around me! The entrance fee is very cheap at 500 yen and you can upgrade your ticket to include the sky tower for 680 yen I believe, which I will definitely do next time! There also many food stalls, cafes and restaurants with a variety of different foods and beverages, there were also many vending machines and gift shops. Overall, this place is a MUST visit for anyone who comes to nagoya, alone or with family or friends, it's worth it!

What a wonderful place! This zoo is located in Nagoya city which you can easily take train to get to there! The location is amazing!! And I think this is big enough if it is located in a city. We spent a day there and studied a lot of background of the animals. There are a lot of animals which is good for the animals lovers to go and visit. The tickets are economical that is worth to spend to go!

This place attracts lotsa kids with parents, which is expected anyway. There are few enhances you can get in but since we are tourists, we took a train as recommended by google. 🤪 its quite a huge place and may take you the whole day if you intend to stop at every place. The highlight is of course the koalas which are damn cute. But there are too few of them, around 10 probably. There are plenty of animals and reptiles to see, so you wont really get bored. The seals are funny too btw. As we went on a sunday, probably why its so full of toddlers and kids. Perhaps a weekday will be better to visit.

The zoo is large, not what I imagined it to be. Walking and enjoying the scenery from morning to almost dark and still not covered all of them. Really worth visiting!

Unfortunately, this zoo is essentially a circus which cares not for the welfare of their animals. Incredible animals such as snow leopards and jaguars are trapped in tiny cages with little to no space to move. Many animals show signs of visible distress. A truly disgusting place if you have a shred of empathy.

It is good for kids and kids at heart, but when we go there there's a lot of construction we are not able to enjoy the whole place. but it is beautiful and clean.

This place is great value, adults 500Y and kids free. It has many different animals there plus an expansive amount of land for a botanical gardens that sadly we did not get to check out. There is also a small amusement park there and a large pond with paddle boats for rent.

A very beautiful park in Nagoya Japan. I really enjoyed there. Weather was good. Peace and quiet. If you want to enter this park you have to pay 300¥. I went there around 4 PM and the last time to exit was 5:30PM. So if someone wants to go there, please go before the time ends.

Such a peaceful park. I went late February and some of the trees and flowers were not as full yet, so it’s probably best to go in spring time. Nevertheless, it’s a beautiful place. Watching and listening to the waterfall can be so soothing. So affordable too! Without any discount from tour packages, it’s ¥300/adult. Really not bad for such a nice, well-kept place. Restrooms are very clean, too!

Fabulous park near the centre of Nagoya, be careful of the parking as it's very limited and expensive, entrance isn't free around ¥300 per adult, limited access to some of the park if you are in a wheelchair or have a stroller, however as you can see in the Autumn is full of colour and a fantastic place to have a stroll around there is only one food stall selling traditional sweet and drinks. I went with my family and two babies, in a twin stroller, space was limited with the amount of people there, there is a disabled toilet but we never used it for changing. But I would recommend it on a quieter day!

One of the nicest places in Nagoya, also in January. The winter peonies were so beautiful. We had lunch at the garden restaurant. Gourmet food and wine pairing at a reasonable price, really friendly service.

The garden itself is not so big...you can wonder around in just 30-40 minutes. Nonetheless, it has a charming and a very peaceful atmosphere.

Because of it’s location you can enjoy both Hisayaodori park and Oasis 21 in a same hour. Helloween day in every years. At least 30000 people are gathering here. Enjoy 😉

There's a cool pool attraction on the roof, there are great stores for gifts and for delicious treats and anyone who like ghibli. It connects directly to another indoor mall which is nice and has a covering for when it's raining. I love the center part of it as it's really cool that they set up activities, etc in the center of the mall. While we were there they had a bouncy castle (small) and a huge skating rink.

I came in the morning and liked the atmosphere of the city, if you go here you can see the unique buildings, from this place you can also see the Hitachi Tower. really a complete city view. If you go at night, the lights from the Oasis building are truly amazing. My friend said this is where Nagoya's young people gather.

There are some cool shops here and good eats. I stopped by here at night and walked up the stairs to the top portion with the water. Truly amazing to view with the lights and Mirai Tower in the background.

The hina dolls miniatures from 18-19th centuries were very impressive. The museum was very well built and photography was only prohibited on a few private collections. Also thankful for the free museum parking at the back!

It's a pretty lovely museum, it has some great pieces, might be a bit dry in some instances but they're more than made up for. The park is well worth exploring, and there's a little cafe set aside from the main building which does some lovely desserts.

I recommend buying a ticket for the garden as well as the museum. Even though it was snowing, I was able to scroll the expensive gardens and enjoy the peaceful scenery. The museum itself was astonishing. I guess because of the cold weather it was not very crowded when I visited on a weekday afternoon. I was able to spend a lot of time in the space enjoying Noh masks and a stage as well as famous swords and household objects. Having space and quiet allowed me to imagine living at that time. It’s such an intimate portrayal of daily life compared to a place like Nikkō Tōshō-gū, which is far more elaborate.

Even if you are not fan of Tokugawa family, it is worth place to go. They maintain things incredibly in good condition. I was impressed them.

Really fun museum to go through, it doesn't have anything amazing but it's short length and the way it presents everything makes it satisfying and entertaining for that length without ever getting boring. Also if you are a student at Nagoya University you can enter for free! Although the garden is a separate fee.

Interesting. Specific to the establishment and culture of the Tokugawa Shogunate, so read up on the basics of that history before coming. Many labels are in English, but sometimes they are quite brief and terminology/context is not clear for foreigners. Also, numerous letters are transcribed into printed Japanese but not English. I recommend the joint ticket together with the garden, which is beautiful.

Great museum with astonishing items on display. Anything from armours to swords and beautiful paintings and garments. There is also English text available, it's however a bit less detailed than the Japanese , that's to be expected of course.

Nice museum showcasing the feudal lord's ancestral possessions. Very beautiful items are on display and the lacquer work items are outstanding. Lovely craftsmanship. Entrance tickets are quite expensive @Yen 1600 per adult. Could see, but you need to spend at least 2 hours here and it closes at 5pm

This is a wonderful museum about the Daimiyo period. It talks about the lords, vassals, the lifestyle and mentality of the time. As someone who enjoys learning about history I really enjoyed this museum. Beware, the museum is predominantly in Japanese with small labels of English. So the parts of the museums explaining the stories will be pretty much lost on you and there are no subtitles for foreigners. You are also not allowed to take any pictures inside the museum. Mostly it is for security reasons as the objects, scriptures and scrolls you will see on display are from the time period and very susceptible to light. Would highly recommend visiting and be sure to check their lovely garden area.

Overpriced for a rather small museum. I only saw 1 armor set and a dozen swords.. about 50% is tale of genji stuff which does not have english translation. Save the money for a nice dinner is better

I wasn’t sure what to expect at this museum but it was very interesting. I learnt a lot about Japanese history, saw some cool items, and I was lucky enough to see the impressive collection of hina dolls. I would recommend the combined ticket with the gardens, it’s great value for money.

Large Buddhist temple surrounded by the urban life of Nagoya. The monks are always enchanting. Get it? They were … in, and chanting. Thanks. I’m here for the whole weekend. Not a bad temple and they have goushuine. Nothing especially out of the ordinary if you’ve visited other temples in any of the surrounding prefectures.

The Temple is famous and seems to have numerous worshippers who would stop over for short-time worship. The Temple is essentially a rebuilt after the 2nd World War; thus, unlike most of the temples in Kyoto, the Temple's worshippers may not feel the classic style or sentiment from the Temple itself. The Temple allows visitors to donate 50 Yen to buy pigeon food and feed the pigeons in the courtyard. But worshippers or visitors should be cautious for large number of pigeons may fly around the pigeon feeder or visitor for the food immediately. The Temple is free for access and for toilets, but it does not allow photo taking aiming at inside worship hall.

It's a famous Buddhist Temple in Nagoya. It's a 800 m walk from the Fushimi station to Osu Kannon. Weekends are crowded. There is a big market close to the temple. Many streets are filled with restuarants, small shops and it's very colorful. Great experience.

Interesting. Could visit Browsed the flea market held on 18th April. Good variety of porcelain at reasonable and higher rates. Some other stuff like masks,old LP records, decorative items etc also available

Best place to buy souvenirs, cheap clothes, shoes, and gadgets. Eat different kind of foods and snacks along the shopping district. There's a lot of interesting shops inside that you can find. Also the Temple is so beautiful and clean. Best to take pictures around because the place is wide.

By seeing the name, you know this is a Buddhism Temple, both Chinese and Japanese use the same word for the bodhisattva. It is a huge temple per se, but still worth visiting especially if you want to pray and make wishes for something in a traditional way. There is a pigeon feeding place next to it. So visitors with kid might be interested. The Osu Shōtengai Shopping District 大須商店街 is also close, on the extension of Kannon Street, it makes good sense to do some shopping and have some local snacks after this.

A good place for shopping 🛍 , hangout also a famous Buddhist temple. All are in ☝🏼 one place!!! It just like a shopping paradise 😅 Awesome experience. I think it should be take a half of day to walking all around all over Osu Kannon. While shopping, you can enjoy various kinds of street foods also. Awesome 😎!

This shrine was right down the street from my hostel. Located right in the middle of the city. And right next to street shopping that was huge. I never seen so many pigeons at one location.

It is a small temple but beautiful. It is near shopping street. Walk from subway station about 5 minutes.

Definitely a must see when you visit Nagoya. The shopping street, especially, has a lot of thrift shops that have great finds. Whether you’re looking for clothes, stationery, or some trinkets to take back home from your trip, everything’s all here.

This is a nice and big temple dedicated to Guanyin within the busy and bustling Osu shopping street! If you are in the area, you will not miss this place. The temple is nice and is opened to the public and visitors can walk freely around. And what is interesting is that people will just buy the bread/biscuit crumps to feel the birds (pigeons I supposed) that are resting on the roof. They would then fly down in a swarm to eat and then fly up and flock together circling in the air for a while before taking rests at the rooftop. Entering the premise can let one to have some peace of mind from the noises outside, especially from the road and shopping street. For us, its consider cultural visit since we are not into the religion but find the temple building nice, filled with ancient feeling!

Beautiful Shingon temple. Although much of it is reconstructed after WW2, it’s still an impressive place to visit. The main deity is Kannon Bosatsu, but you’ll sell all the deities for each zodiac year displayed in a separate hall on the ground floor level - worth a visit, after the main hall.

Good place to praise the god and hope the good life. Bless the friendship between Japan and Taiwan. Wonderful souvenir buying avenue nearby here.

It's near a shopping district in Nagoya and also near the City Museum. It is a beautiful temple that can be crowded during weekends and holidays. It is also near a train station.

Everyone is so very helpful, we don't expect anyone to speak English, but they all did and were being as helpful as possible. They made all the reservations inside the hotel for us since we didn't have the app. We lost our phone charger and the hotel even let us borrow one. The elevator plays music! We're very grateful!!

We took a 2 day package which costed us 200,000 yen and I can’t believe how poor their customer service was. They do not have even one vegetarian or vegan option on their menus. All the restaurants outside the resort close by 4pm which was absolutely ridiculous because the park closes at 6pm and everyone was hungry looking for food. This hotel is definitely NOT International standards. The staff wouldn’t let me sit with my family at the hotel restaurant because I was not ordering anything but they failed to understand that there was nothing on the menu for me to eat. After arguing it out, they let me sit with my family however watched over me like a hawk to make sure I was not eating anything. It was disgraceful. Our package included breakfast so the next day when we went to the restaurant, the Staff told me they have prepared vegan for me. I was very happy to hear that however two days in a row the only thing they made for me at 08:30am was tomato sauce pasta. I requested for a vegetable sandwich and was declined. We ordered in-room dining and requested for mayonnaise and were declined. For two days we tried to go to the swimming pool and they had no availability. I have been to all the resorts over JAPAN such as Disney, Universal etc and I must say staying at The LEGOLAND Hotel was the worst experience from all. At least at Disney & Universal we got vegetarian options. We even got vegetarian options directly on the menu at the new Warner Bros Making of Harry Potter. Very disappointed with the services and customer service.

Located directly in front of Legoland Japan. Rooms are for max of 2 adults and 2 children. One master bedroom and very very small bedroom nook for children with small size bunk bed (about 140cm max) , treasure chest, Lego blocks, and TV. The hotels facilities are excellent for younger elementary aged children. There is an indoor Lego jungle gym, shallow pool with floating legos for small children, small gift shop, and 2 restaurants. Breakfast is included for 4 people so it’s best to go with 4 people. They don’t give a discount if you travel with less people. Daily 30min workshops are also provided for about 2000 yen. Checkin is at 4pm and checkout is at 11. Legoland opens at 10am and open until 6pm. Recommend going to Legoland first day, ending with workshops and pool at hotel in the evening, stay the night, and have a lazy morning checkout. Then maybe a stroll onto the Lego aquarium next door. Workshops and pool reservations are available on day of check in. Sadly we were not able to reserve a spot for the pool 5 minutes after reservations started. Be sure to have your phones ready to make reservations! (See legoland website). Wifi download speed is extremely slow. Was not able to use educational apps for kids due to low wifi speed. Overall was a wonderful unforgettable stay! Highly recommend going at least once if you can while your children are young. Expensive but worth it!

The scavenger hunt for free toys inside the room, the free streaming of LEGO movies, and the small activities inside the hotel made the stay very memorable for my son. We're very lucky to have met a friendly hotel staff who helped us with a few things and made sure we were having a comfortable stay. We will definitely be coming back again!

Legoland Hotel Japan may not be as luxurious as any of the Tokyo Disneyland/DisneySea Hotels but the former gives travelers more value for their money. For example, kids can play legos to their hearts' content on either the first or the second floor play areas. Their elevators gives you that "disco feel" (so experience it yourself when you check-in). When dining at the Brick's Restaurant, a mini-buffet is included when ordering the main dish. For my family, the Kingdom Themed premium room on the 8th floor was part of our vacation package. A bunk bed for the kids was located upon entering the room with a uv purifier unit & lcd tv, and a queen-sized bed for parents was situated by the window. Standard bedroom and bathroom amenities were replenished daily as expected. Heated toilet seats and handheld bathtub shower-head function perfectly. Each part of the room either had lego-related wall papers or lego-built ornaments. Important to note that all luggages can be deposited at the concierge prior to check-in (in case you arrive at the hotel earlier than 4pm), and after checking out (if you still plan to go to the theme park past 11am).

Been here a few times and the kids loved it however under current circumstances with Covid-19, not worth the expensive price as everything LEGO related within the hotel is unavailable, room service for food is unavailable also. If your gonna charge people for such a high amount to pay, at least let us know prior to booking what is available not available to be used IN the hotel. 2 stars is better then no stars.

Ninjago style room is great for family stay. Children enjoyed roomquest and legogames all around hotel. Restaurant is busy, very limited choice and works till 20:30 (last order). Another 2 restaurants outside of hotel - nice, but last order till 19:30. The only preference for hotel guests for LegoLand park is "free baggage keeping"

Our kid s is very happy staying here. There's a treasure hunting game in our room. If you can solve the number problem, you can unlock the lego gift inside the room. Our room is very new, nice and clean.

Top quality Lego theme hotel, Staff is wonderful and always ready to help. Breakfast available at hotel restaurant , too many things to eat, delicious food. I was amazed with the details and customer service.

Have been Legoland resort with my family on 5 Jul 2023. Nice place to stay with children. We would like to deeply appreciate one of staff in the resort - Miss Masako. She is kind and friendly. fluent in English and was helping me to communicate. We had a wonderful experience in legoland resort with her kind assistance! Thank you !

Wonderfully thought out hotel for a Lego fan, I had a fantastic time as an adult with my wife I could only imagine what it would be like for a child, Masako (concierge) was incredibly friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond in making our stay the best it could be (thank you Masako) The location is the only issue I had with staying here it’s very far from the city and doesn’t have much to do outside of Legoland and sea life. It’s also oddly close to some industrial areas? Over all a good experience for Lego fans and 100% worth a longer stay next time.

As Emmet says, everything is awesome!! Our kids loved the Legoland Hotel. We stayed at the Friends themed room where there was a bunk bed and a double bed. The room, while a bit dated, was decorated in a Friends mural and the kids enjoyed watching the Lego movie from their bunk bed. The disco party lift added to the overall experience and the kids loved dancing between floors. The location was also perfect if you're visiting Legoland. We bought a combo pass with Sea Life and we visited Legoland on the first day, before settling in at the hotel and checking out Sea Life the next day. Breakfast was also super cool with lots and lots of kids options and Lego themed food. Everything is awesome!!
